i Do Not Trust people who make Mary the bad guy in their stories when the show went out of its way to specifically show us how she was suffering just as much as stede was in their marriage and that shes, yknow, a good person

Zombie Apocalypse AU: self explanatory, it's the end of the world, the brothers are humans and not actually related ( apart from the twins and Lucifer and Satan maybe ) and they just come together with MC as a group to survive together. Bonus points if some of them die throughout the event. Yeah, that's right, I want that ANGST. ( Solmare will never give it to us though... )

Lucifer is out for the weekend, chaos ensues in the house: classic movie trope, the dad leaves and everyone's excited to do whatever the fuck they want and throw a massive party in the house, only for the parent to send a text saying they're coming back earlier than expected. CHAOS.

The bros become humans for a few days/a week: they're hit with some spell, idk, but become a human for a limited amount of time and have to learn what it's like to live as a human. ( I CRAVE for this to have a scene where Satan gets a paper cut and is just blown away because wtf, HUMANS ARE THAT FRAGILE?!?! ) They're all grow a massive respect for MC at the end, because how the fuck do you live like this??

MC becomes an actual sheep: could be another animal too, but I chose sheep because you know, MC is represented by a sheep. It'd just be a cute scenario, and funny too. Give it to me!

Satan & MC bring a cat home and attempt to hide it from the others: idk, could be satan or mc that finds a hurt street kitten, so they bring it home with them and immediately text the other like: "HELP, EMERGENCY SITUATION, CAT INVOLVED!!"

They keep the kitten in one of their rooms and hide it from the others, but slowly, one by one the brothers start finding out about it, and OH BOY DO THEY GET ATTACHED.

The last one who finds out is Lucifer, obviously, but at that point everyone has already grown heart eyes for the tiny thing, and he can't say no to keeping it because all his 6 little brothers + MC are pleading him to let the cat stay and his heart can't take it. WE ADOPT A CAT, FINALLY!

One of my favorite things about how Anne Rice writes historical fiction: she doesn't sugar-coat her characters.

As in, there was never going to be any way all these vampires going back 6000 years were going to align with modern sensibilities. They're not savory. They suck.

First off, any male of status from before the Great Depression probably did, in fact, look at an underage girl and think, "she LOOKS like she could grow up cute and interesting, but do I want to wait to ask her dad and risk someone else calling dibs in the meantime?"

Lestat: Killed majestic, beautiful animals that were only trying to feed themselves. To save the lives of people who were counting on him, yeah, but still.

Marius: Literally from ancient Rome, lots of ideals from that time, pederastic relationship with Armand, see above disclaimer about males from prior to the Great Depression.

Armand, Santino, most of the de Landens: I do feel like the Children of Darkness/Satan wouldn't have been founded in our time, as evidenced by Lestat so easily disbanding them with basic Enlightenment talking points, so I think it counts.

Louis: LITERALLY OWNED SLAVES. And not in a bullshit "but I treat them so nice and they'd just be owned by someone mean if not for me!" way, he legit believed this was what black people were for. Until he became a vampire and all humans looked equal(ly foodlike) to him.

WOOOO THE NEW UPDATE'S HERE!!!! I have been waiting oh so long for this and I'm so glad it's here! After going through all main pages on the site and clicking on most (or all) of the secrets, here are my thoughts.

WALLY IS SILLIER THAN I COULD'VE EVER IMAGINED!! he's so goofy and clueless and it's so freaking adorable!!! That interview audio had me screaming!!! The part where the interviewer asked wally about a romantic interest in anyone and wally was kinda just like "??" Was so cute oh my goshhhh!!!! "I love everyone! I love my friends" AAAAAA AROACE WALLY HC GO BRRRRRRRR!!! Also the Eddie book recording thigy when wally was like "I'm on the ground again :D" AAAAAAAA!!

Frank's Neuro is so diverging. The just so recording was just absolutely funky brain moments. He doesn't have to explain his heckin he just let him be.

In the recording with Sally and Julie, I want to point out that at the very end when it cuts off, I could've sworn that Sally was about to call wally "waliver". Like oliver. IS THAT HIS NAME?? IS IT NOT WALLACE???? IS WALLY'S NAME WALIVER???? I heard that and my reaction was pretty much "what did she just call him? Is that his name? Wha????" I was so absolutely surprised and I have no idea if I misheard it but after watching through a second time and hearing it again I'm now just left questioning this. Did anyone else notice that???

Also I noticed that all the "bug" recordings end when someone mentions wally. Idk what it means, maybe it's just highlighting the significance of him, but he also never speaks in any of those recordings, but from a few of the videos containing wally's hands in the frame, I suspect that they're filmed either by or from the prospective of wally.

I've come to the conclusion that Barnaby and frank have a similar relationship to sans and papyrus. The voices are even similar! Barnaby always making puns and frank just wanting him to stop, very good amazing love it

That's all I can think of for things to say about the wh update in regards to the actual characters themselves, but WOW! There was so much there! All the cute art! All the secrets! i love the way pazu and sheeta interact with each other in castle in the sky. like they barely just met and already they’re ride or die for each other. they get thrown into unimaginable circumstances that constantly threaten to pull them apart and the first thing they do is cling to each other. one of them is always reaching for the other. sheeta unconsciously draws to pazu’s side. pazu instinctively steps in front of her and acts as her shield in times of danger. sheeta wraps her arms around him and doesn’t let go for the life of her as they fly through the storm in the glider. pazu grabs sheeta by the arms and pulls her safely into the glider when she’s nearly blown off it by the force of the wind and all she does is go, “phew, that was exciting!” it doesn’t even matter to her that she could’ve very nearly died, because pazu was there to catch her like he always is, and the most important thing to her in that moment is that they’re together. they reach laputa and the classic Studio Ghibli Hug Moment™ ensues and ends with the two of them laughing in a flower field. pazu reaches for sheeta’s hand and she winds their fingers together tightly. these two go through so much hardship and danger and trauma and the only way they cope with that is by clinging as tightly as they can to each other and never letting go. the physical touch love language was practically invented with these two and you can see it throughout the entire duration of the movie!!
