(What order do you write in? front of book to back? chronological? favorite scenes first? something else?)
i write in pieces. i write the most important scenes first, and then generally work my way from front to back, where i'll write disjointed parts of action/dialogue/story and join them together at the end. raw, unedited first drafts of my writing end mid-sentence when i jump to another scene because i had a brain worm, or don't make flow-sense, or don't connect with the story at large. most of the magic happens during editing (i would simply die without editing)
