Showering with him can go one of two ways. (a) Extremely awkward. Lawrence is staring right at the wall with a bright red face, so red that you might worry the water's too hot for him, even though you're shivering from how cold the spray is. Any time you try to express concern you're met with a clipped demand to turn around and stop looking at him. (b) Lawrence is in one of his moods and can't keep his hands off of you. His icy, trembling fingers poke and pinch and prod and it hurts! He can picture your body properly dismantled broken down like livestock and drained of blood so perfect so empty. So just stop moving and stay. Still. He knows what's best. He knows how to care for you.

just getting high in general with lawrence

Lawrence forgets that not everyone has as high a tolerance as him, that the bare minimum to make him high and floaty could send someone else into the worst trip of their life. He likes how drowsy you get, how sleepy and dumb and unable to resist. So weak and fragile like a dead dry flower that crumbles at a mere touch he could take your life without a second thought. He could do whatever he wanted to you, and there would be nothing you could do to stop him. You're limp and empty like a corpse.

quiet, soft talks with lawrence

It's rare that you get a full-blown conversation with Lawrence. Most days it's more akin to him talking at you than with you. In fact, some days he seems annoyed at you for even breathing too loudly. Sometimes you get, lucky, though, and you catch him in a good mood (as good as Lawrence's moods can be, at least). He's not the greatest conversation partner, as he'll often just nod and hum at what feels like the right moments without actually offering much. Find the right topic (plants, art, mortality) and you may find yourself in an interesting back and forth. Lawrence can actually be quite philosophical when he wants to be, and though much of what he says makes little sense, you'll always come out of it with an interesting new outlook to consider.

He hates talking to people. He hates how loud they are. He hates their judgemental stares. He hates their unpredictable behavior. He hates all of it. Lawrence avoids the living like the plague. He feels so much more at home when surrounded by death and decay. So when you cling to his side, perhaps even try shooing off Lawrence's conversation partner, he can't help but feel a wave of relief washing over him. He doesn't even begin to expect that you may have been jealous. Hell, he may not have even noticed that you were trying to end the interaction prematurely. You may have to tell him straight-up that you were jealous. He won't entirely know how to react. He's never really seen himself as worthy of being jealous over. He's not worthy never good enough no-one can see him stop looking at him now. But... it's nice, having something need him so much, none of his other plants can need him the same way you do. His own special calathea.

Quickie was one of the fighters of the WVBA's Golden Era. He was a super fighter, punched so quick that time would stop.

Was a super fun guy, upbeat and happy. A bit cockg but hey, that came with being in the world Circuit

Oh you thought Aran had a lot of infractions? This man makes Arans list look one sentence long.

He might've been upbeat but he wasn't without hardships. Had three beautiful babies to a woman who he would end up breaking up with after baby 3. Before that he was tossed back and forth between foster homes like garbage and had to take a lot of pills to help him just cope

He still puts on a smile though and has been a face for a lot of charities that he sponsors.

Was a beacon of hope for a lot of young kids in similar situations, and inspired millions to pursue their passions

His youngest (and only at the time) son, Dean, was one of the few things that kept him happy when he was on his medication

He was very close friends with the World Circuit, especially Doc. The two were like brothers, and loved to support each other in their endeavors. It was Doc who inspired Quick to join in the first place!

Sadly, he would meet his end in 1999, when he got in the ring with a rookie and was knocked into the ropes, choking to death.

His death caused outrage amongst the facility and several old time boxers left that night.

Due to this, Dean wouldnt step foot into the WVBA for almost 10 years. Later on, his eldest son, Devon AKA Disco Kid would come to the WVBA and find out about his father all too late. However, he would be the one to bring Dean back home

It's said Quickie's spirit still lingers in the building, waiting for something but no one's exactly what...

People who use drugs deserve love and kindness.

Abstinence is not the only form of recovery. AA/NA doesn’t work for everyone. Sometimes people choose to use instead of meeting other needs, which is valid. Some people use for recreational purposes. Some people use for medicinal purposes. Some people who use have substance abuse disorder. Treatment looks different for everyone. Not everyone needs or wants treatment, for various reasons. The only thing Naloxone enables is breathing. Active use is not shameful. People who use drugs often also deal drugs. People in recovery should not shame active users. Active users deserve love. Active users deserve someone to check in on them, get them safer use supplies, and get them pizza. Active users deserve to be listened to. They deserve better than to have that be the first time anyone ever treated them as human since they began using.

Hey, can i have some Farz HC?? i don't found very much content of him

Despite his hatred of them, cats are inexplicably attracted to Farz and tend to follow him around whenever he's working or just walking anywhere.

His depression started when he was pretty young, and at this point he can't really imagine a life without it. Would he subconsciously prefer to be happy? Sure. But depression has become almost a safety blanket for him. It's familiar, it's predictable, it's comfortable.

Pretty sure this is canon buuut, Farz loves corvids; crows, ravens, jackdaws, jays, magpies, they're all little guys! Friends!

Occasionally receives 'gifts' from the birds he feeds; usually just shiny bottle caps or bits of colorful glass, but he collects all of it, no matter how much it resembles garbage.

Tried smoking weed in high school and spent an hour coughing up a lung, he still cringes thinking about it.

I’ve been getting more and more attached to Jason’s character so please indulge me. I will be having to section these off cause I’m gonna be talking about two pieces of media </3

Titans

I’m watching season three of Titans right now and, it’s a wonder. There’s a few aspects that bother me but overall I’m in love so far.

The season makes a bold choice by literally opening on Jason- a hero- doing drugs. Sure in season two it mentions Hank doing drugs because of Hawk and it does show him in the act of snorting a substance, but the difference is, he’s an adult. Hank is a thirty something year old man who has probably most likely killed people, Jason isn’t.

Yes, Jason is violent. Yes, he did assault police officers, but he never killed anyone. Jason may legally be an adult but he still acts like a teenager because he is one. He’s a traumatized teen having to deal with the fact that he’s repressing so much from everyone he loves. He never gets an outlet to discuss what’s happened to him with people he trusts.

A great example of this is when he’s about to jump off the the Titans tower in season two. He tries talking to Dick, he says how he feels and he try’s expressing himself, he tries so hard to get his brother figure to understand what he’s going through. What does Dick do? He flips it around and unintentionally makes it about himself.

The closest we get to him actually opening up is when he starts trusting Rose, telling her about his upbringing and starting to get comfortable with her, comfortable loving her. Then she reveals that she only met him because she was trying to manipulate him.

The impact of him turning to drugs hits so much harder. He’s just scared, he turns to anything he can to help. It’s so much deeper when it’s shown that the drug he takes isn’t heroine or coke or anything like that. It’s a drug that stops fear.

He literally felt so weak that he took drugs to repress his emotions to the point where he felt nothing, he felt nothing and thought he was better because of it. There’s no doubt that at this point in the story he’s addicted. Jason started using before he died and the madman who gave him the drugs started using them to manipulate him. I’m really interested in where the story is gonna go with it, I really hope it actually dives into withdrawal and how Jason would cope with everything going on around him without the help of drugs.

Comics/Animation

Overall with every piece of media I see regarding Jason and the batfam, it never really manages to depict Bruce and Jason’s relationship accurately, one of the good ones was that single episode of Titans. (in my opinion).

Me personally, I see Bruce and Jason’s relationship in a very complicated light.

When he first gets adopted, Jason views Bruce as a nurturing figure. He sees him like every child sees their parents, perfect. It’s like he can do no wrong. He’s Batman! And he made Jason Robin! It’s a perfect opportunity, he was being helped, he finally had a dad, one that loved him.

Before Jason died, he still very much idolized Bruce but not to the point of thinking he was perfect. He knew Bruce wasn’t perfect, he just couldn’t bring himself to actually say it. Jason couldn’t face the fact that Batman didn’t need a Robin, he didn’t accept that he could still be Bruce’s son without being Robin.

After he died and came back, there was resentment. He hated Bruce, despised him with every fiber of his being. Depending on what canon you’re watching/reading, there’s different reasons for why. Either Jason is mad that Bruce took Robin away from him before he died, effectively taking away his only coping mechanism, therefore resulting in his death. Or, he hates Bruce for not killing Joker. His father didn’t avenge him, he could care less about Batman having an obligation to avenge Robin as his sidekick—fuck Robin. He cares that Bruce, as a father, didn’t kill the Joker to avenge his son. He let his sons killer roam free, putting the psycho in Arkham won’t do anything. Or or, he holds resentment that Bruce couldn’t save him. He couldn’t save his sidekick, his son, his Robin. He failed.

No matter what happens between the duo, Jason always holds self loathing in his heart because of Bruce.

Across all forms of media, he always develops the thought that Bruce hates him. He always thinks that he’s the ‘least favorite/most hated child’ even though it couldn’t be farther from the truth. Bruce loves him, Jason is undoubtedly the favorite child.

(Sneaking a Titans reference in here—) The fact of Bruce caring for Jason more than his other children, (cough cough DICK) is solidified when he takes the Robin mantle away from Jason. He’s trying to protect his son in a way he thinks is best. He saw and heard what being Robin did to Dick, he doesn’t want to put Jason through that. Even the line where Bruce says “I don’t want to make the same mistakes.” Jason perceives it as Bruce calling him a mistake. He lashes out and gets angry because he thinks that he’s being called a mistake. It’s not true, the sentence itself with the context of the episode and the episode before show that it’s not true. Bruce is calling Dick his mistake, not Jason.

Throughout everything, Jason sees anything negative that Bruce says or does as a direct attack on him, when he’s the only one Bruce actually tried to parent. Dick was treated like a weapon. Jason, as a child.
