I’ve been watching art restoration/crafting/blacksmith videos on Youtube lately and now I have a cute Donna and Phyto!Reader AU.
Donna is a Doll maker/art restoration Youtuber with a decent sized following (not in the millions but definitely has five to six figures in the community). No one has heard her voice (she uses a voice filter or just captions), seen her face, or even know where she is from. But she’s popular because her work is fantastic and it is clear she is knowledgeable (also because she has swoon-worthy hands, and sapphics love her-- she’s flattered but flustered when she learns of this). People have also noticed she has a favorite doll (Angie) and it has become a game with her and her followers-- a ‘where’s Angie’ in every new video. Angie plushies are a staple in Donna’s fan shop.
Anyway, Phyto’s Guide Reader is working at the botanical gardens in the city and does their research. Sometimes in the lab, they relax with Donna’s videos which often has nice music and ASMR sounds. A dear fan and subscriber for years and they often comment on Donna’s videos, to which Donna has recognized the username whenever she gets a notification and has replied on multiple occasions. Reader is also known in the community to give facts about the types of wood/plant based stuff Donna uses and gives recommendations/techniques for them. Donna has implemented some of these facts/techniques in some videos.
Eventually, through some plot I don’t care to think too hard on, the two DM one another over something relating to both of their fields and it starts an online friendship. Over the course of months and years. Reader sometimes sends sample woods to Donna to feature in her next project and Donna sends little knickknacks of scraps from her labors.
Then one day, months/years later, Donna sends a DM and is like ‘you work at this place right?’ and Reader is like ‘yeah???’ and Donna responds with ‘I mayyyyy be in the area for business related things’ and of course the Reader is like ‘o-O’
Parasocial crush in town???? Holy fuck, act cool, be cool.
A few DMs later, they agree to meet. Because honestly, if either of them were serial killers and targeting the other, there has to be easier ways than stringing someone along for years, you know?
Anyways, the day of the botanical gardens meeting comes and both are nervous as hell. And they finally set eyes on one another (’how will I recognize you?’ Donna: ‘if you see a pale-ass woman and think damn she must be mentally-ill, that’ll be me.')
They both immediately think:
Tumblr media
*parasocial crush increases by 9000%*
They’re a bit giddy meeting each other and it‘s slightly awkward for a moment, but quickly they shake it off. Reader gives Donna a tour of the gardens and Donna takes the Reader to lunch and they just... talk.... and just click.
Eventually, Donna has to return home, numbers are exchanged, but she makes sure to visit again in the future. And again. And again.... and again....
. . .
A few years later, Donna uploads a regular video, her loyal subscriber base has grown naturally, and Angie is still her page’s mascot. Privately, the Reader and her got over their tip-toeing and started dating. Everything is normal... until...
“Wait... is Donna wearing an engagement ring?”
“DONNA GOT ENGAGED DONNA GOT ENGAGED”
“holy fuck someone knows her face”
“CONGRATS DONNA”
“OUR DONNA IS GETTING MARRIED”
“When’s the wedding?????”
“the lesbians are QUAKING”
“Fiance reveal?”
“When the fuck did this happen???”
“NEW DONNA LORE JUST DROPPED YA’LL”

That's all I can say. This scene has been playing in my head for a few days now, but I couldn't decide if I wanted to go with Trans!Donna for it... or Trans!Daniela...
I went with Donna and a buff gardener, buuuut I really need to write something for Daniela soon 👀

"Mm." Donna made a soft sound when you shifted behind her, the morning sun warm across the length of your bodies. "C-cara?"
Her voice was heavy sleep, breath steady. You leaned in and placed a gentle kiss to the base of her neck.
"Mornin'."
You'd only known the Countess' personal puppeteer for a few months now, but you'd caught her staring at your muscles from within the gardens quite a few times prior.
"Mm.. morning." She said quietly.
You moved in a little closer and pulled the dollmaker's body flush against yours - spooning her from behind. Her body soft and heavy with sleep. Warm to the touch and reminiscent of a dream. The olive green t-shirt she wore gorgeous against her skin as her ribcage rose and fell beneath it. A slight reposition to your legs allowed the tip of your strap to graze ever so slightly over the back of Donna's inner thigh, making her gasp.
"Sleep well?" You asked in a teasing tone as you kissed the side of her neck, pulling a small whimper.
"M-mhm."
"Mh.. good. Just like you."
A single trace with the tip of your tongue over her ear and her hips bucked back into you, almost forcing the toy exactly where you wanted it.
"Come on, sweet girl. Tell me how good you are."
You roamed your hands over her body - sensually, caressing. Fingertips dancing across her nipples before pulling on them gently.
"Mmph=! .. I-i'm good. So good."
Another kiss to her neck. "Damn right you are."
You allowed your hands to continue their exploration of her flesh in the morning light. Her arms wrapped lazily behind her, grabbing onto your muscles. A slightly louder whimper when your strong hands began their way further down the length of her, not even stopping when they reached the base of her cock and stroked over her womanhood.
"Ah-!"
It was the smallest of sounds, but oh so arousing. The sweet whimpers and noises that you were able to pull from the puppeteer's body never failed to leave you absolutely dripping. A slight shift to her legs to give you better access, a few more pumps to her cock as it twitched in your hand - only to use her own desire to ready the toy that hung from your hips.
"Ready?"
Your voice was husky with want - your own arousal pooling in your core when she nodded.
"Y-yes."
With the hilt pressed firmly against your clit you slowly slid the toy into her, both of you moaning as it made its way further in. Her cock still twitching in your hand as you began to thrust in, Donna's hips grinding back into you. The softness of morning adding a tender melody to your movements - slow and languid - sliding your strap into her with gentle precision. Your experienced fingers stroking over her womanhood in perfect rhythm.
"Such a good, sweet girl."
Donna could only whimper at your praise - tone cracking slightly in need. Her hips becoming more eager as she bucked them back into you, pushing the hilt of the strap deliciously over your clit every time. One hand coming to caress over her breasts from behind as the other continued a steady pump to her cock. The small room filled with nothing but the sounds of stuttered breaths and the exquisite dance of flesh against flesh. With breathy sounds of extasy rolling off tongues once built only for prayer.
But who needed the favor of high priestess' when you had this. When you had moments so perfect they could have been written by the gods. Donna's sweet sounds only growing louder as your hips picked up their pace, forcing your hand to do the same.
"S-so close." She whimpered.
Only this made you growl - softly in her ear. Her own hand coming to her cock as you moved your own to grasp onto her hips and force her back into you. Gasps of pleasure - of absolute bliss - spilling out of her unhindered. Just like the white, hot desire that spilled deliciously from her cock. Your own pleasure peaking as you continued to drive the toy deeply into her - milking every last drop out of your sweet dollmaker that you could.

Finals are finally done! So I've been trying to slowly get back into making fandom art again. I wanted to work on facial expressions, and so I decided to draw our favorite resident doll maker! So anyway, here's a series of expressions of Donna and Gardener OC looking at each other and how I imagine their interactions would be :) *cue "Sa Isang Sulyap Mo" by 1:43 playing in the background when they look into each others eyes*

hiiii! I have a request for donna beneviento. I was hoping for her lover, the reader, to show up to donna's house like normal, but they are sick with the flu. When donna asks why reader came, reader says that they dont care if they're sick or not, they just want to see donna <3 cue donna being a flustered mess, but then panicking internally when reader lets out a particularly harsh cough. Just some fluffy caretaking if you wouldnt mind, thank youuuuu :) (maybe if you're feeling like writing a longer fic, you could make reader have a fever-induced nightmare, and donna is the only thing that can calm reader))

Winter was finally over but the sudden change of temperature was enough to get you sick for a week. Usually you'd stay at home resting however every week you would have a home date with Donna.
Hence why you were walking towards her front porch looking like an Arctic scavenger. The dollmaker was surprised to see your attire but didn't pay much mind until she went to greet you.
You were shaking a little but still removed the mask to smile at her. "Sorry I'm late, my stomach wasn't kind this morning."
Donna nodded and ushered you in, getting concerned with how red your face was. "Are you okay?"
You nodded enthusiastically, supporting yourself with the now closed door due to the rapid movement. "Yeah! Just got a bit of a flu, nothing to worry about."
The dollmaker tensed for a moment, silently commanding her dolls to prepare some tea and bring blankets to the living room. "You should've stayed at home, it's dangerous to walk around sick! What were you thinking?" She questioned, leading you to the room.
You sighed. "I haven't seen you this week. I would rather face a thousand winters then stay away from you for so long. Please forgive me." You said, pouting.
Donna was thankful for wearing her veil, so you couldn't see how flustered she became with just one sentence. "Th-That's nonsense, you don't need to ask for forgiveness. But…next time, just call me."
You laughed. "I will."
After successfully trapping you in a world of blankets, Donna lit the fireplace and sat beside you. "Are you sure you're okay?"
You tried to answer but a sudden cough took place so you just nodded while trying to breathe.
You were still okay, you got used to the coughing after the second sick day. However, for Donna you were on death's door. The dollmaker could feel her heart racing, her hands trembling and her eye feeling with tears.
She practically ran off the room leaving your confused self drowning in blankets.
Donna returned with more pillows, some plants from her garden that were for good health, tea, water, a bowl with water and some towels. She even called Mother Miranda, who assured her that in five minutes a crow would leave some medicine at the door.
You were watching her set up a small hospital on the center table with a gentle smile. "Donna, it's okay, I'm not dying, I promise."
The dollmaker shook her head. "You're sick, I need to take your temperature."
You nodded weakly, feeling the hands of Morpheus trying to carry you into the dream world.
Donna was slightly shaking but still managed to check your temperature and breathing. "You have a bit of a fever, I believe Mother will bring some medicine. You should drink some water."
You nodded and drank half a glass of water, settling back down on the couch, in a lying position. "Where's Angie? I thought she'd be trying to steal the blankets from me by now."
Donna chuckled. "I had to lock her in my room. When she heard you were sick she stole a syringe and claimed she'd turn you into her bioweapon."
You laughed, still coughing at the end, but less intensely. However you noticed the dollmaker stiff posture. "I just need to sleep for a second, then it'll be good again."
Donna nodded, kissed your forehead and stood up, getting ready to cool the bowl of water. But she was stopped by you holding her arm before she moved too far. "Please don't leave me, I don't like to be alone."
Donna smiled and removed her veil to lay down more comfortably beside you.
The Lady had only moved away for a few minutes in order to receive Mother Miranda's package, suddenly she heard a scream and rushed back to you.
You were still sitting on the couch, but your face was marked with tears and your entire body felt like it was burning alive. You vision was still blurry from sleep and even though you tried to breathe it felt as if no air was going inside.
Donna approached you gently, trying to not make things worse but the second you saw her you jumped towards the woman and hugged her tight. She guided you back to the couch, not once breaking the embrace.
You curled on her and kept attempting on calming down. She was drawing soothing patterns on your back, humming lowly and controlling her breathing so you could immitate.
It took at least fifteen minutes for you to calm down, holding her as if she was your only connecting with reality.
Donna waited until your breathing had evened to speak. "Can you tell me what happened?" She asked, gently.
You took a deep breath before nodding. "I had a nightmare…I-I don't exactly remember what happened, just the feeling. Then I woke up and you weren't here anymore. I guess I panicked." You closed your eyes tightly and snuggled yourself even more against Donna.
The dollmaker allowed you to lay on her, pulling some of the blankets that fell and covering you. "I'm sorry, I won't leave again."
You nodded. "Promise?"
"Promise."
Your body relaxed and soon enough you fell asleep, knowing that Donna was there to protect you against anything.

Donna Beneviento x Fem! Reader
TW: Flashbacks, Hallucinations, PTSD, Abuse, Fainting, Anxiety
------------------------------------------
The sun dipped low on the horizon, casting long shadows as Y/N stumbled upon House Beneviento, its eerie facade hidden within the dense foliage. A strange allure drew her closer, curiosity mingling with an unspoken dread that tightened her chest.
As Y/N entered the overgrown garden, the air seemed to hum with an otherworldly energy. Unbeknownst to her, Donna Beneviento, cloaked in shadows, observed from the recesses of her abode. Angie, the doll with haunting eyes, whispered to Donna that someone was approaching.
Donna, curious yet hesitant, emerged from the shadows to investigate. Her keen senses detected the subtle distress in Y/N's aura, and as she approached, she couldn't help but notice the way Y/N's eyes widened with fear.
Y/N, caught off guard, saw Donna for the first time. The woman, veiled in mourning attire, radiated an ethereal beauty that contrasted with the eerie atmosphere of the house. The realization that Donna controlled the very plants that had ensnared her brought a wave of anxiety crashing over Y/N.
"Don't hurt me, please," Y/N pleaded, her voice trembling. "I can't go through it again."
As Y/N attempted to flee, the hallucinogenic effects of the flowers intensified. In the depths of her mind, memories of a painful past resurfaced. Y/N saw the specters of her abusive parents, their faces contorted with rage as they disciplined her with cruel abandon. Cuts and welts adorned her younger self's back, vivid reminders of a childhood marked by torment.
Overwhelmed by the haunting images, Y/N's frantic escape led to her collapse, unconscious on the ground.
Outside, Donna knelt beside her fallen visitor, her gaze softening as she brushed a strand of hair from Y/N's face. Without a word, she lifted Y/N into her arms, carrying her into the house and into an unused bedroom.
Y/N awoke in a disoriented haze, greeted by the sight of a woman in mourning attire and a doll in a wedding dress. Panic surged within her, amplified by the veiled figure's presence. Donna, sensing Y/N's distress, attempted to calm her, but the fear persisted.
Angie, observant as ever, pointed out that the veil might be the cause of Y/N's anxiety. Donna hesitated but, with a moment of vulnerability, removed the mourning veil, revealing her face. Y/N, in her disoriented state, saw the woman's beauty, a stark contrast to the sinister reputation of House Beneviento.
"Don't be afraid. I won't hurt you," Donna reassured, her voice gentle. "I never meant for this to happen. It was never my intention to bring you pain."
The room, cloaked in an otherworldly stillness, bore witness to a fragile connection between two souls touched by the haunting echoes of their pasts. In the midst of shadows and whispered regrets, Donna Beneviento and Y/N navigated the delicate dance of understanding and solace within the walls of House Beneviento.
Donna lingered by Y/N's bedside, a solemn presence in the dimly lit room. The air was heavy with unspoken words, and the echoes of Y/N's painful memories lingered like a haunting melody. Donna, with a sense of cautious empathy, tried to broach the subject.
"Y/N, can you tell me about what you saw?" Donna's voice, soft as a whisper, held a genuine concern. She extended a hand, a gesture of compassion, but Y/N recoiled, her eyes flashing with a mixture of fear and defiance.
"I don't want to talk about it," Y/N snapped, a sharpness in her tone. The walls she had built around her past were reinforced with each rejection of the painful memories.
Donna, undeterred, persisted gently. "Sometimes, sharing the pain can help. It's okay not to carry it alone."
But Y/N, locked within the fortress of her own trauma, remained resistant. The wounds of the past were still too raw, the scars too fresh, to be unveiled and examined.
Donna, sensing Y/N's reluctance, shifted her approach. Instead of pressing further, she sat in a silence that conveyed understanding. The room, wrapped in shadows, became a sanctuary for the unspoken, a haven for a wounded soul.
"I won't force you to share if you're not ready," Donna reassured, her voice a soothing balm. "But know that your pain is valid, and you don't have to bear it alone. You're safe here."
Y/N, though still guarded, felt a flicker of acknowledgment. The vulnerability Donna displayed, the empathy in her eyes, sparked a tentative connection. Donna continued to sit with Y/N, a silent guardian in the night, offering a refuge from the storm that raged within.
In the quietude of House Beneviento, the shared pain of two wounded souls hung in the air. Donna, with an understanding born from her own shadows, extended a hand to Y/N, inviting her to release the burdens of the past in the sanctuary of their shared silence.

Could we get a little Beneviento sisters x reader fic please? A little treat
- simp anon
Ahaha I should change this blog to just Beneviento simping zone, I’ve made so many people love Bernadette and Claudia, and I’m so glad they’re getting so much love<3
How about a little dinner time with them?
Dinner time was always the highlight of the day. After a morning of waking up- watching all three of your girlfriends practically tripping over themselves to get to work and joining whichever you were scheduled to be with that day to the very end- coming home to that relief of spending time together as a family was always worth every bitter bead of sweat that rolled down your face. It also helped that cooking dinner together was a major love language for the Benevientos, and while you could never match up to their culinary mastery, you could help out.
This evening, though, you were standing aside while Donna attended to the stove and Claudia set the oven. Bernadette was expertly cutting sheets of pasta, and everyone seemed to be so in sync to the unspoken agreement that lasagna was for dinner. There seemed to be little room for you to lend a helping hand, however, that didn’t stop you from hovering around just in case.
“How was helping Bernadette in the garden today?” The question came from Donna’s lips as she passed by you, pausing just long enough to press her cheek into your shoulder like a cat marking her territory.
“Hot.” You replied without thinking, earning a loud snort from Claudia, reminding you of her gutter-mind. You roll your eyes despite the forming grin across your lips. “Temperature hot, Claudia.”
“Sure.” Claudia replies with a smirk after sticking out her tongue at you. She lets out a few snickers as you give her a wink, earning an audible sigh from the oldest sister. Bernadette shares a look with Donna as the youngest sister is cutting carrots to add to the vegetable stir-fry still in progress on the stove.
“They were wonderful help.” Bernadette states as she steps aside, letting Claudia take over layering the lasagna and putting it into the oven. Her hands find an abandoned hand towel, and the fingers hook on the fabric to wipe off whatever edible debris clung to their pores. “Got a little too distracted with the hose though.”
“To be fair, you were flexing.” You counter, earning a Cheshire smile from the oldest sister as she leans back on her elbows against the counter.
“I was using the wheelbarrow, dolcezza.”
A hot blush starts to form across your cheeks as the Italian rolls along Bernadette’s deep voice like melted metal in a mold. No matter how often the Benevientos spoke their mother tongue to you, it still had you rather frazzled hearing it every damn time.
“You didn’t drown the tulips, did you?” Donna’s voice breaks you out of it, and you frantically shake your head to deny the idea.
“No!” You chirp, your blush darkening now in embarrassment as the dollmaker quirks a brow at you. “I just- uh…”
“Lemme guess.” Claudia says, shutting the oven to emphasize her voice. “You made another pond in the middle of some random plot of dirt Bernadette was preparing to plant.”
Now your face is scolding, and you groan- hiding the hue in your hands- unable to escape the situation now. A round of endearing giggles go around the kitchen as the sisters coo at your adorable display, making it easy to accept your embarrassment and giggle, raising your head from the grasps of your fingers. It’s true that you weren’t as skilled as the sisters in their respective fields. Compared to them, you were decent at things, but knew a lot of skills- a bit of a jack-of-all-trades- but the trade-off was that you didn’t have astonishing knowledge in anything. Well, at least the things the Beneviento sisters were into.
Bernadette was the easiest to work with. You liked days with her a lot, even if it was going to be physically demanding. The oldest sister with her psychology background and job as a therapist meant that she almost always seemed to know what was spiraling in your head, with the patience of a thousand gods, and her choice words always made your chest burst with warmth and eyes explode with grateful tears. If the two of you weren’t labouring away in the gardens around the manor, you were venting your woes to each other somewhere in the forest.
Claudia was the next easiest to work with. She worked as the village doctor and was overflowing with altruism. She fortunately had the energy to match such a demanding job, and most of the time you were basically there to deliver supplies and check inventory, on rare occasions you would help with treatments. Due to the nature of her job, Claudia has a pretty no-bullshit attitude during work, which tends to give you whiplash compared to her silly personality at home. Just another quirky facet of her that you’ve fallen in love with over the years.
Unfortunately, as much as you simply adored spending time with Donna, you were pretty useless when it came to helping her make dolls. Much of the time you were there to parallel work together, or to keep Angie entertained. Nevertheless, the system you both figured out is one that you look forward to each time, and if things get done sooner… well-
“Hey.” Claudia’s voice snaps you out of your wandering thoughts, and you blink back to reality to see her waving a hand in your face. “Back to Earth, idiota.”
She snaps her fingers at you, throwing her arm in various directions as she does so, making you laugh.
“Okay, okay! Back to Earth, I’m back to Earth-” You reassure, raising your hands in surrender as Claudia chuckles, flicking your forehead.
“I’m surprised the gravity can hold down your air head.” Claudia jests, giving your cheek a quick peck before slinking away down the halls. You watch her go, rubbing the spot where her lips graced your skin with a dreamy smile, turning your attention back to the other two.
Donna had finished her dish and was helping Bernadette set the table. The dollmaker gestures for you to sit down and begin eating while the lasagna cooks in the oven, and you happily stride over to the chair. Bernadette takes a seat across from you, sipping her tea while Donna pours your cup.
“Thank you, beautiful.” You praise, raising a hand to cup the dollmaker’s cheek. She leans into the touch with a smile, almost purring as she soaked in your affection like a sponge. The moment doesn’t last long, as Donna pulls away quickly to pour tea for herself, but little moments like that feel so much longer. They replay in your head often. Gosh her smile really did things to your brain chemistry.
The three of you begin treating the vegetable dish and cups of tea while making small talk. It starts with a simple discussion on what the plans were for tomorrow, and derailed into various other topics that somehow managed to come up. Sometimes Bernadette and Donna would exchange words in Italian, bits and pieces you’d recognize, but not enough to piece together what they were talking about. One time, Donna said something that made Bernadette laugh, and you laughed at Donna’s shocked expression. You had said something to affectionately tease her, and Donna stopped chewing her food to stare daggers at you. It would have been scary, if one of her cheeks wasn’t swollen with food like a little chipmunk, making you laugh harder.
The moment is broken when there’s a sudden loud crash in the distance. All conversation comes to a screeching halt as the thud echoes vaguely in the large manor. A moment of silence passes before a loud “DONNNNNNNNNNNNNNA!!” howls across the estate in Claudia’s voice. On cue, Donna sets down her tea and stands up from her chair- the back of her knees pushing it back with a sound of wood scraping on wood- flattening her dress with a brisk few brushes of her hands.
“I’ll be excusing myself.” She says with a huge, shit-eating grin, walking away with a fast clop-clop of her heeled boots.
You and Bernadette share smiles as there’s the sound of approaching footsteps, only a moment later with Claudia bursting into the kitchen, torso soaked.
“Where’d she go?!” The middle child demands, moving wet strands of hair out of her eyes.
“She excused herself.” Bernadette states while taking a sip of her tea. You reaffirm the statement with a nod of your head. Claudia growls and stomps through the room in the direction Donna disappeared down, plotting her prank to get back at the youngest sister.
Once all was silent again, Bernadette took another sip of tea.
“You got plans tonight?” She pipes up towards you, and you shake your head in response. “Donna was asking me if she could have time with you tonight, before you go with Claudia tomorrow.”
“Hm? Oh sure, what for?” You inquire, shoving vegetables in your mouth. You had begun chewing them until Bernadette gave you a sultry smile, causing your mastication to slow until it stopped, paralyzed and unable to swallow.
Now you know what it was. Earlier Bernadette had taken you against a tree when the two of you were supposed to be trimming bushes, and earlier than that Claudia had to do the laundry in the morning after she woke you up with choice placement of her hands.
Right as you were thinking about the evening with Donna, the oven beeps, and Bernadette brightens out of her darkened gaze to an almost child-like grin.
“Be a dear and fetch the others for dinner.” She says, and you’ve finally found the strength to swallow, nodding as you stand up and head in the direction the other two did earlier. You also make a mental note to find Angie, who must still be napping after being continuously interrupted by a “busy” night.

Hello! Would you be willing to write head-canons of Donna Beneviento? Like, who would confess first, who fell first and who fell harder? THANK YOU!! (FEM! Reader, by the way)
Donna Beneviento x fem!reader headcanons
Alright, my first request. Thank you for stopping by, anon😁 i hope you like it!
Warning: none, just my grammar.
You fell first for Donna when the first time you see her. It is love at first sight.
You accidentally saw her face without the veil for the first time when you are about to enter her room for clean it, and she didnt noticed you.
You actually dont mind about the scar on her face, you think it is perfect. She is beautiful just the way she is.
But you know your place. You just a servant who serve Beneviento house and never dared to confess to her.
You always take care of her, her dolls, and her garden.
But you always clumsy everytime she's around you and Angie is the first who noticed.
Angie always tease you that you probably have taken interest to Donna and that makes you blush like a tomato.
Realizing that, Angie reveal to Donna that you like her.
You can't read her expression since she always wear her veil.
You stuttering to find any excuses but Donna ask you for being honest with her.
So you confess your feeling to her and apologize for seeing her face without her consent.
Donna surprised hearing your confession not just how you feel to her, but you have seen her face but not feel scared or disgust.
Donna feels that she is accepted for who she is and that makes her happy.
Since your confession to her, Donna always talk to you, and even almost accompany you every time. Whether she just watching you cleaning her house or help her in the garden.
You both getting closer everyday and spending your time together. She even taking off her veil because she's feel comfortable when you are around her.
She always treat you like you are someone very special to her.
Because it is. You are her special, her everything, her world. She will do anything to protect you. Even she had to defy Mother Miranda.

Cold hands
Donna Beneviento x Fem!Reader
Word count: 610 words (short)
~~~
You sighed bored of sitting down and staring out the window. You've been staring out the window for some sort of entertainment. Donna has been busy with doll making and or gardening. You know she doesn't like being bothered when she's doing something. After a couple minutes of silence you felt two cold hands touch the back of your neck. You yelp in surprise and see donna giggling to her self. "Donna! you almost gave me a heart attack. Your hands feel like ice!" You complain catching your breath, Donnas hands are cold like death, they've been could for as long a you remember, you think back trying to remember if her hands were ever warm.
"Cara mia? Are you alright" Her soft spoken voice cut through your thoughts. you gave her a soft smile, "Im alright now that you're here" You chuckled at Donna's flushed face at your remark. "I was coming to get you, i was going to ask you if you wanted any tea. I am making some" Donna said sheepishly as if she was suddenly embarrassed.
You love her she's so beautiful and cute, you stand up and reach you hand out to caress her scar. "Tea would sound lovely, dear" You hum, you love how donna melts under your touch. You move you hands down to take her hands into yours. "Lets hope they can heat you hands up" You joke making her giggle some more. Seriously her hands are just as cold as the snow littering outside. She leads you to the kitchen making you sit at the old mahogany table, All the dolls seem as if they are staring at you, making you shudder. You've always been afraid of dolls, but you're getting through it because you would hate not being with Donna over a silly fear.
"Amore. What tea would you like?" Donna asked not looking at you. "Hmm I'll drink what ever you want" You smile leaning on your hand, you can tell she's blushing her ears are bright red. "Alright" She squeaked grabbing some lavender tea. Seven minutes later she had two cups of hot tea ready and put one in front of you. She takes small sip careful not to burn her self, you take notice on how beautiful her hands are, to her veins and to her painted finger nails. You blush as she noticed you have been staring at her hands. She smiles behind her tea. You look away picking up your tea and talking a big gulp burning yourself, she sets her cup down worried for you. "Im alright, the tea just tastes so good" You chuckle, Donna smiled slightly sitting back down. "Good to hear that you like my tea" She hums taking another sip of her tea. You took smaller sips of your tea not to burn yourself like that again.
She finished her tea early and waited for you to finish so she could wash the cups, maybe two minutes you were done and she began to wash the carefully putting the up. You glanced over to an old grandfather clock, 11:34 pm. It's late enough for you both to head to bed. "Hey donna? It's late lets go to sleep" You hum hugging her from behind. She gasped at the sudden touch, "okay" She said in a small voice. The two of you walked into your bedroom, she took her hair down and slipped into her pajamas, and you did the same. This became a routine. you both climbed into bed and she wrapped her hands around, you know what. Cold hands aren't that bad, especially in hot or uncomfortable nights.
anonymous asked: Donna and y/n dancing in the rain together would be adorable
a/n: *giggles in hopeless romantic* indeed indeed
characters: Donna Beneviento x GN Reader
Tumblr media
The Rain;
" The rain falls for you
The same way I do:
unapologetically,
over and over… "
THE ROMANIAN SUMMERS NEVER FAILED TO BRING RAIN TO THE VILLAGE. It was something you always looked forward to. The soft rumble of the thunder, the quick lightning strikes. It was comforting. It was also a help, considering you were the gardener of the Beneviento estate. The flowers thrived on the moisture and it always made your job a little easier with shoveling out the weeds. Sometimes you stood under the porch of the house, satisfied with the way the flowers bloomed many different colors.
Little did you know, somebody else was admiring the pop of color to the estate. The Lady Beneviento didn't show herself to you, at first. But she usually quietly stood from her window, looking and marveling from afar. When you felt eyes on you and peered at the window only to see the curtains swaying a bit, that was her. In the winter months, the house looked a bit depressing and bleak, so she sought out a part-time gardener for the spring months. And you certainly kept to your word about fixing and tidying everything. It was absolutely beautiful now.
Angie was the one to express your employer's amazement. You'd become rather close with the doll, as it was nice to hear her while you worked. In the beginning of your new job, you'd see the doll looking curiously at you. Eventually, she started bringing out little sandwiches and tea/water out (per Donna's request). When the flowers began to bloom, she excitedly ran to examine them.
"Wow! Y/N, Y/N come look!"
"Yes Lady Angie, pretty soon the peonies will start to bloom more too."
"OoOoo! Donna's gonna be so pleased to see!"
"Donna?"
"Yeah silly! Oh wait… Uhh she's the lady who hired you."
"Lady Beneviento?"
"Yep! She thinks you're really pretty!"
"What?"
Donna was extremely embarrassed that Angie said that. Her and her doll's connection was there, but that didn't mean she was able to control what came out of her mouth. Angie learned to keep her mouth quiet after Donna scolded her, but she knows her creator's true feelings. She found you attractive. The doll-maker admired how pretty you looked when the sun hit you in a certain way. The way you'd stand in the rain unbothered. Somehow, in any weather, you looked absolutely stunning.
It took her a while to muster up the courage, but finally she managed to catch you. Your work day was going as any other would, trimming the hedges and checking on the veggies you'd been asked to plant by Angie. You didn't even hear the door open and shut.
"... The flowers are very beautiful."
"HMPH-"
You quickly turned your body to face the veiled woman, scared outta your own mind. She tensed, putting her hand out. What a way to make a first impression.
"I didn't mean to scare you, I'm sorry."
Quickly, you composed yourself, clearing your throat and cheeks heating up in embarrassment.
"Oh no, it's okay! I'm glad you like them!"
And thus, you and Donna began to slowly become friends. She was as quiet as a mouse, but after a while, she left her shell. You'd grown accustomed to her presence, as she usually sat on the porch after you'd brought a table and a few chairs for it. Sometimes, you'd chat, learning little things about one another.
"Hey, if I were to bring a porch swing, would you trust me enough to install it?"
"... Hm, where would you put it?"
"I think right here would be nice don't you think?"
"... Yes, I think so too."
Eventually, it was little graces of touches. She'd be handing you a cup of tea, and your fingers would graze her's just for a moment. One time, you were having a hard day, which was obvious because of the tears in your eyes. Your hand was on the table, and she gently leaned over to take it into hers.
"I'm here."
And maybe she held it for a little too long. Maybe.
She loved your goofy side. And you loved to make her giggle or chuckle. It sounded like music to your ears. You couldn't see her face, and she was glad because her cheeks would flush pink…
Today was another rainy day, only this time you were sitting with Donna enjoying a nice warm cup of tea. The conversation had become quite a while ago, but you didn't mind. Sometimes you and Donna sat in silence, just enjoying each other's company. She'd had the door opened, airing the house out after an incident with one of the dolls catching fire. But she also had her record player playing, a soft melody.
"Il est entré dans mon cœur
Une grande part de bonheur
Dont je connais la cause
C'est lui pour moi, moi pour lui dans la vie
Il me l'a dit, l'a juré pour la vie"
She noticed how you placed your cup down nervously, standing up and making your way to her. Quizzled, she looked up under her veil to see you with a nervous smile.
"Dance with me?"
"..."
She held her hand out and you took it into your own. She giggled quietly when you led her out into the rain. All the romance novels she'd read had her hoping for this moment. And it was quite blissful. The rain bothered neither of you, and your arm around her waist had her flushing red. As the record came slowly to an end, she removed her hand from yours, gently moving her veil to the side to reveal only the lower portion of her face.
Her lips curled into a smile, as she leaned in, pecking you on the cheek.
oh, how you looked forward to the rain…
BLACK LOTUS
Pairing: Cassandra x Donna
Wc: 1.7k
Summary: Cassandra gets her Cadou. Things don't go as planned. Donna is called to handle it.
AN: This is in response to an ask by @muffinsin. I hope you enjoy this, even if I did like butcher the request for Beauty and the Beast and this came out instead. I mean its kinda like it... but mostly not. Again im sorry for that! Your next request I'll do better on I promise my child! Even then this one for you my FAVORITE and ONLY CHILD!
Donna stood just shy of the smaller women’s sleeping form. Pitch colored mourning dress covering the tall, lithe frame of the Lord. Fingers longer than most, short, trimmed nails painted a glossy black. Veins, healthy and thick snaked along underneath pale skin. Clasped in front of her, Donna had to stop herself from reaching out and touching icy skin. The Lord had only to move a few inches and long toned arms could easily pick up the women and pull her to the Lord’s chest.
The women in question was Cassandra Demitrescu. With the brown-haired girls Awakening from Mother Mirandas Cadou experiments. The middle daughter had attacked the Priestess. From the moment those piercing yellow eyes opened, they held nothing but a feral rage. Clawed hands had cut the Black God deep in her stomach. Had the Priestess still been human, the blow would have killed her. Black mold sludge like blood had spewed from the wound. For all three of the daughters, Cassandra was the only one who did not get to go home with her Mother and siblings.
Lord Beneviento had been whisked away from her manor to come to aid Mother Miranda. The girl seemly had lost all function to speak, the lack of understanding any spoken words. Reverted to the base primal nature in her mind. A raging beast the Black God had called her as she ranted at Lord Donna. Donna had heard even less of what the Black God was talking about, her focus as soon as she stepped into the laboratory had been the blood covered women, crouched in the corner. Snarling and gashing her teeth, small cub like fangs sticking out of her mouth. Seeing that she was very much covered in not only the Priestess blood, but also her own. A jagged and very open wound starting from just under her neck, continuing down between her breast and to her belly button. It looked horrible, but Cassandra didn’t take notice. She felt only anger, fear, and an insatiable hunger.
The Lord had never seen anything so beautiful. Even with every inch of her covered in filth, and her own viscera Donna was ensnared instantly. The instant Donna walked over to the women; Cassandra instincts were sent on high alert. Everything about this veiled woman screamed deadly, predator and prey. And the brunette-haired women didn’t like feeling like prey. Hackles raised as blood poured from her mouth, coating her chin in a fresh wash of crimson. Launching herself at the Lord, intent to gut this woman. Strike first, state your power. A warning. These types of feelings were cording through Cassandra even if she could not make sense of them. She needed to act. This veiled woman was dangerous. Very. Very dangerous.
“Black Lotus.”
The words raspy and deep, barely above a whisper. The slight winkle of the mourning veil the only other sign the lithe women had spoken. Mother Miranda flinched. The next moments caused everyone except Lord Beneviento herself a wave of atrociously violent nausea and vertigo. Raising well-built hands from centuries of gardening, craftsmen work in her family business, and various other fields of knowledge. The elegance of each finger, each in a certain fixed motion, much like the Master Puppeteer she was. All four of Cassandra limbs were now under the sole control of Lord Beneviento. Blooming forth from her left hand a three-petal lotus started to form from the skin there. This otherworldly flower continued to unfurl outwards on itself, a silver-tinged eye forming in the middle of flower. It wriggled and blinked around sporadically, vine line black tendrils whipped from the growth, lashing the air.
The fluttering of Mother Mirandas swarming into her flock of crows falling on deaf ears. The Black God having barely escaped but a small taste of the true power Lord Beneviento wielded. This was the problem, at least in the eyes of Mother Miranda, the dollmakers had no control of just who got affected by her powers. Or so Lord Beneviento made her think. All the Lords of the Village knew out of all of them, their youngest sister had the most control of her powers. For only she truly knew just how deadly they could be if she ever truly lost control.
Cassandra made no noise as she watched the veiled women disappear from her field of vision. Looking around wildly, nose searching over her own scent, trying to find something. Her arms and legs were still unresponsive to her, which sent a new wave of fear into her. The flies spilling from the wound along her chest flew around only to come back to their place inside of her. Seemingly just as confused and disoriented as Cass. She couldn’t swarm. Only bite at the air and let loose long rage filled wails.
 A warm finger being placed upon the screaming women’s forehead. Yellow eyes freezing on the Lord’s finger. The wails quieted, no longer echoing off the walls, instead more of a wounded animal noise left Cassandra. Feeling her body lose all semblance of control, the room was spinning The lack of any feeling was the next thing the smaller women noticed. Before even if she hadn’t shown in, the burning pain along her neck, sternum, and stomach had stopped. She felt weightless, like every inch of her had turned into pure energy.
The Lord watched on in utter fascination. She knew the girls mind was easy to warp to her will. The mental barrier had been all but non-existent from the second Donna had contacted her mental. What did intrigue the tall lithe Lord even more, was just how shapeless and chaotic the brown haired women’s thoughts were. If one could call them thoughts. Instead Donna Beneviento found pure, primal emotions.
Hunger.
Bloodlust.
Rage.
Such a feral seething rage Donna could taste it. And oh what a decadent taste it was. This Lord had been ‘starving’ for centuries. Not for food. Not for drink. Not for anything else material in this world. She had been starved of the right obsession.
Cassandra Demitrescu had become that obsession. As soon as the Lord had laid her eye on the women, who now lay slumped on the floor. Yellow eyes were fixed on the writhing mass that made up the Black Lotus on the Lord’s hand. Not that the poor girl could look anywhere else even if she tried. Not only did the petals of the lotus produce an intoxicating scent, teasing at the potent power that lay within. The sporadically moving grey tinged eye also held the same bewitching effect. As long as Donna wished it, Cassandra would be under her hold. Even if eye contact is broken, even if lungs are cleared, once the Black Lotus has latched on, there is no running from it. Even in death there is no escaping the madness that can be brought upon even the strongest willed minds.
Not that Donna wanted to torture her little doll. Lord Beneviento liked that. Her little doll. There would be all sorts of other sweet tortures this veiled Lord could bring the women. For right now though Donna only wished to bring peace to the wounded girl. So that’s just what she did, removing every pain receptor in a body is easy when the Lord could name off every single last one them. Next came Cassandras sight, steeping the women in darkness. The lost of her vison did not cause the panic Cassandra had been prepared for. A calm like nothing she had every felt, before or after her Awakening. The slight shift of the Lords finger along her forehead, sliding along her temple, down to her jaw. Lingering there for a few more seconds. The Lord’s body tingled, but not from the women’s frigid skin, but from her own excitement. Donna Beneviento had not touched anything ‘alive’ in a very long time. Her free hand curled into a tight fist, shaking from the amount of pressure she was applying.
Blood was drawn under the Lords facial veil, having bitten her bottom lip till the point of bleeding. Cassandra’s nose twitched, hands flexing. Having bypassed the lulled state, the Lord had put her in. A spinal reflex, not a conscious movement. Having come right from the spine itself, bypassing the brain completely. The sensory stimulus of the Lord’s blood had caused this, triggered a nerve in the primal side of Cassandras body. The women had even for a split second had overcome the paralytic effects of Donna’s ability. A sharp snapping sound as the Lord snapped her fingers. Cassandra body again fully back under her control, the Lord having released her. The Black Lotus on Donna’s left hand fell from the pale skin it had grew from. Landing on the floor, the eye in the middle being crushed under the clipped heel of the Lords boots. Grinding her heel into it, the flower itself crumbling into grey and black dust.
Cassandra drew in a deep breath, the wheezing of her lungs exposed to the outside world sounded like dry leaves against each other. Sandstone colored eyes looking right the Lord, even though the veil, Donna felt those twin orbs of amber looking right at her. The deadly aura around the Lord did not lessen as she bent down to inspect the gaping wound along the women’s torso. A flush coming to pale cheeks as her eye scanned over the lush mounds that made up Cassandras chest, the rather pronounced jutting angles of her hip bones. The wide padding of soft fat layered over the hard brawn of the girl’s thighs. Glad that the veil hid her wondering eye as eased her arms under the women’s shoulders and one under her knees. Bridle style. Shoulders as wide as they were feminine carried the girl’s weight with ease, holding them extremely close. The cold bite of Cassandras skin felt nice against the warmth of the Lord.
Never in her life had Cassandra been on the receiving end of finding someone stronger than her. The mold smelling women didn’t count. The women in the long white dress who had left with her sisters didn’t count either. The only strength that Cassandra found herself responding to, and coming to quickly be enthralled with was the veiled Lord. Even if her scrambled brain could not put words to these feelings, the lack of even knowing what a word was made it impossible.
Lord Donna Beneviento had ‘a lot’ of work ahead of her to rehabilitant and mold this fierce women into the perfect obsession she had already become.
reference. [a donna beneviento x maiden short, part ii]
Tumblr media
speedran the second part, oop! it's much longer than the first, so enjoy :) for reference the first short ended at 900 words and this one stretched to 2.3k haha! heisenberg is mentioned in this one but does not appear himself.
bringing the tray up the lift is an easy enough feat on its own. after having spent a number of years in your lady's company, the motions are, in essence, routine: a pattern in your mind already drawn by your thoughts before you so much as act upon them.
that ease would be the case, of course, were it not for the presence of a certain doll pestering at your ankles. grabbing at the fabric of your trousers and scaling the back of your blouse, angie swiftly makes it her business to climb you like a tree.
and, well, to a degree, it was angie's business. that, you couldn't argue. after all, it was by her suggestion that you were occupied by all this preparation in the first place, with your journal tucked in your pocket—awaiting an opportunity for the 'real thing', as angie had put it.
“miss angie, please don't test my balance,” you say, as you elbow the up button. “it would be a waste of tea if all this fell over.”
angie grunts with effort as she settles onto your shoulder, the folds of her dress stealing a third of your vision. “angie!” you sigh, holding tighter onto the tray. the elevator doors click into place, gears rumbling as the car rises up the shaft.
“it's a good view up here! all the better to see your faces!” angie cackles, jaw clacking while she wraps a metal-jointed arm around your face. you grumble a futile protest, going unheard by the doll obscuring your view.
once upon a time, being in such a confined space unsettled you. the gate, when shut, almost felt a cage, and you worried that the age of the manor would inadvertently show itself while you rode alone in service of the lady's wishes. but not long after your arrival to house beneviento, a man had come by as you worked the gardens.
'gear-gnasher', angie had called him. when you rose to your feet to welcome the visitor, sunglasses and trench coat and fedora and the stench of cigar smoke and machine oil and iron steel on him, he'd introduced himself as lady donna's brother—lord karl heisenberg.
he was friendly, if not a little overly so: hand on your shoulder, firm pats on your back that you swore almost dislocated your ribs. glad to see that his sister finally had some manner of company that wasn't just her crafted creations, heisenberg found joy in getting up close and personal, taking great interest in the beneviento's new maid; and while you tried to reciprocate out of respect to the lord, you found a little trouble in doing so with his smoky breath so close.
the fragrance of orchids and roses broke the two of you apart when a fourth, looming presence presented herself. it was a scent you had since come to love and associate with your lady, and justly so, as it seemed that donna herself had come to collect heisenberg.
angie told you later that day of the lord's work, while you smoothed out and cleaned her dress. he was to maintain and repair some of the mechanisms around the home to ensure its occupants' safety, all arranged by the head of the house.
(and then angie proceeded to whine about how such measures were unneeded, considering herself and donna had no problem getting from one floor to another with the rickety elevator as they were—but it was the first time you'd ever known such a gesture of rather affectionate precaution, made on your behalf from the lady beneviento. throughout the years, you found, it was certainly not to be her last.)
you take great care in balancing both angie and the tea tray as you exit the lift on the main floor. angie prods your face, her legs swinging, dubious acts you can't help believe are meant to displace your steps; you hold fast, however, almost disappointing angie when you manage to make it out the front door without spilling a drop.
”angie.” a voice chides, soft. your heart skips simultaneously with angie's disgruntled grumble, and the cool sun is once again made visible to you as angie hops down from your shoulder.
donna sits at the porchside, one of her smaller fabric projects cradled in her lap. her veil is abandoned on the table beside, and while a soft fluster colours at her pale skin as your eyes meet hers, the ease in donna's gaze and the slightest curl of her lip speaks much regarding the comfort your lady has found in laying her face bare for you to see.
“some tea, my lady?” you offer, placing the tray on the table. with the afternoon temperatures moderated well by the waterfall on the rearside of the manor, you well look forward to the peace of having a break, made better with donna's company.
”thank you, mio dolce.“ donna says warmly, and peers at the plated snacks. you can't help puffing up with joy; it isn't often that donna speaks, even around you, and so every gently spoken phrase is nestled in your heart heart, cradling it there with the same delicacy that donna now holds angie in her lap. “what are these?”
“croquettes! i made pancakes, too,” you smile as you take your seat opposite the pair. angie has already taken one of the treats, chewing on it—you've come to simply accept giving yourself the benefit of the doubt as to where the food goes. it's a wonder that angie hadn't snuck one for herself while on the elevator.
(or maybe she did, and her dress in your face concealed the crime from view.)
donna is more mannered, forking one of the croquettes and bringing it close for a bite while you pour tea for the two ladies. you fail to notice her inquisitive glances, as though wanting to raise a query to you.
“you've… become quite the cook,” lady beneviento hums. she clears her throat, gratefully taking cup and saucer and lifting them to her lips. you can't help studying every graceful motion, delicate movements, committing each detail to mind.
“i'm glad you enjoy it.” you beam. you're fixated on the curve of donna's jaw, the bumps and marred skin of the scar that has claimed her right eye, the lines connecting the whole of your muse's image together.
many times have you done this, as subtly as you could—but each occasion has never made your sketches of donna any easier, as though the picture of your lady in your mind and in reality is simply beyond what your hands could ever recreate.
(after all, what mortal hands could ever come close to sculpting a portrait of the divine?)
you've yet to take from the plate of treats you've made, or sip from your own tea. you reach into your pocket, keeping your journal in your lap under the table, out of donna's sight.
perhaps this would be your chance to capture that long-awaited accuracy you've been desiring for some time.
though you aren't the best of actresses, neither is donna, and the longer you have the pages propped open under the table, the more you begin to feel that donna is suspecting your intentions with the snacks and the tea.
these breaks are a regular part of your routines, of course: a precious time away from your work and your lady's to spend in one another's company, a welcome breather from the monotony. yet, with all the knowledge you keep on one another, it isn't so difficult to discern when something has shifted in the air.
you spend so long staring hard at the pencil lines that you hardly register movement across from you, in the form of an ebony dress skirt rising from a chair, its figure drawing close. it isn't until you hear a curious gasp from your side that you startle, pencil almost flying from your grasp as you snap your head upwards.
it's too late to shut your journal closed, but you do so anyway with the fury of red-hot embarrassment warming your cheeks—and donna's, you find.
(not like you were making a point to be overly secretive, anyway. angie has been biting her non-existent tongue from remarking on your shared glances, not so different from skittish lovebirds.)
“were you… sketching me?”
donna wrings her hands together, and for a moment, the curiosity in her eye flickers between a sudden apprehension. you set your journal and pencil on the table, and reach to cup donna's palms in yours.
angie takes this moment to make a sound not at all unlike gagging. she swiftly excuses herself from the premises; “when i come back, you better draw me too!” angie demands, words you can only laugh at with the predicament you've shoveled yourself into.
“yes, i was,” you can't help the sheepish smile on your lips as you squeeze donna's hands. neither smooth nor too rough, a part of you knows that this touch you cradle are those of a most experienced dollmaker, an artisan—even as your heart whispers, 'an angel. you hold your lady, a lady of creation, someone incandescently wondrous, in this village of mold and the craven undead.'
“i could never get it right the previous times. it drove me up the wall! so i thought i'd take the chance to sketch you while you were busy with the snacks.” the warmth of your shame does not vanish from your features, but you cannot do any less than smile for your lady. “you look positively beautiful, my lady. forgive me. i can rid of the sketch if you wish—”
“no, no.” donna shakes her head. she releases your hands, and for a moment you find yourself aching to hold them again, to bridge the distance between artist and muse.
donna reclaims her seat, to the muffled sounds of what is surely angie messing about inside the manor. your lady straightens up, posture rigid, as though preparing to be painted, as she once had been with the portrait of herself and angie on the foyer wall.
she's posing for you, you realise; and once more does your heart skip a single pace, as donna's own countenance colours a darker rose.
you chuckle again, a sound lacking malice or mockery, as you bring your pencil back between your fingers. “oh, be at ease, donna,” you murmur kindly. “this is not so formal. do as you like, and don't mind me at all!”
returning to the hastily-enclosed page, you begin a second time, more aware now as donna slowly relaxes, ashened iris centred on you.
from one artist to another, being under donna's visage this way makes you feel almost like the object of study. not that you minded, of course.
there's a clatter of donna's fork preceding the bump of something bready against your lip, and you look up, noticing how your lady holds out a croquette. with another smile of thanks, you close your mouth around it, plucking the treat off the tine.
(lady beneviento was quite right, indeed. your cooking has improved.)
you eat as you sketch, your lines more confident now as you pencil in the dark of donna's dress, her sleeves, her bunned hair. you have some trouble with her scar, with the current angle of her face.
reaching across, your fingertips delicately brush against donna's cheek, tender and gentle. “my lady. excuse me,” you whisper, nudging her chin with the intent of getting a better picture of donna's face—but instead, your hand lingers, as if not wishing to let go.
you can feel donna's warm breath on your palm, the surprise in her expression softening, as she seeks out more of your touch. there's a whisper on her tongue, and you vaguely think it is your name, glued as you are to donna's eye, and then to her lip.
you brush your thumb, there. your throat tightens, just the slightest bit.
“perhaps,” your lady voices, and it moves you from your reverie with a fluster, “i could persuade you to let me capture your likeness, as well.”
“in a doll?”
“in whatever you would like it to be.”
“and how would you go about such a thing, my lady?”
though you make to withdraw your hand, to return to your sketch, donna's grasp is firm around your wrist when she tugs you back. the table clutters with the movement, and even with the lady beneviento's gentle hold, you have almost forgotten the power of this spell donna wields over your heart.
your faces are close, too close, but you care little for the way the tablewood digs into your hips. all you know, all you see here, is her.
“i have my methods,” donna muses, and she nudges her lips to yours.
petals harken her name, flourishing under delight and sun and mist as donna beneviento kisses you, and it is as true as it is indeed divine. eyelids fluttering shut, you will yourself to her command, sighing with the fluttering beat of your ribcage, thrumming in your ears.
in parting from her comes a wish of wanting, but you steel yourself, before greed takes hold of you any further. the cool air barely suffices in restoring the breath taken from, shared with you, and it's easy to forget what you were even doing before it.
donna adorns an expression more shy than it is bold, an irony considering her forwardness mere seconds ago.
“does that suffice to convince you?” she asks, amused in her tone.
you move your chair closer to her, an elated grin plaguing your face.
“oh, more than, my lady.”
”FINALLY!“ a triumphant, high-pitched bellow echoes, as the door slams open. out trots angie, having returned for her demand. ”is it my turn now? it's my turn!“
you laugh, and with donna's own melodious joining, you cannot quite remember why you were so worried in the first place. to be closer to your muse, after all, rewards the most accuracy—and how could you ever think of being any more farther apart?
hello :) I'm here to request to request donnaxdaughter!fem!reader
I really want to see what Donna would be like as a mother figure. Maybe a new girl, age 15-16 moves into the village. She hearrs all the rumors and warnings of the beneviento manor, but she ignores them, because she doesn't want to judge the place before she sees it for herself. She prepares a basket of pastries and cookies she makes herself and goes over to Donna's house and knocks on the door. Donna is shocked because no one ever comes to her manner, especially not with good intentions. The girl is so sweet, so innocent, so pure, kind, and full of fun Donna has been so lonely, so she invites the girl inside. The girl asks Donna to spend the afternoon making paper dolls and other crafts with her. A few months later the girl has been coming by more and more often, and now Donna sees the girl as a complete daughter figure.
Thank you!
Home is wherever i'm with you
ps2: for me this was very different from everything i write, i hope you like it🫶
----------------------------------------------------
Ever since you were ten years old, your parents would teach you about the importance of not only kindness but also charity work. Therefore, it was no wonder that now at sixteen you would feel a certain compassion towards the secluded Lady Beneviento.
It was nearing Christmas eve, your parents were nowhere to be seen (as always). You didn't blame them, they had jobs and responsibilities, you just weren't a priority.
So…you made a choice. You knew the Lady was usually alone, and you hated being alone. That's why you prepared a basket filled with baked goods and set course to her House.
There weren't many people around the streets, winter was particularly harsh this year but you wouldn't back down. Thankfully, no lycans appeared on the way, you definitely weren't ready for them.
The village didn't have much information on the Beneviento territory, so running into a grave was an unpleasant surprise since you didn't bring any flowers. However, you were walking with a map, which you turned into a paper flower and left it at the grave. It was dangerous walking without a map, but it’d be disrespectful to not leave something.
After this moment a strange feeling came at you, as if you were being followed. Of course you looked behind you many times and you never saw someone, so you shook it off.
The path was easy, perhaps the villagers were lying or simply too scared.
Once you reached the garden, a sense of peace overcame you, the freezing snow was momentarily forgotten as you stood near the House breathing the cold air.
Donna thought you were lost, she wanted to scare you off so you’d go back home. But you were just a kid, what if she frightened you too much, or you got hurt, she couldn't hurt you. So she just followed you, maybe you were dared to spend some time in her territory, it happened too many times.
She could see you from the window, standing in her garden, the Lady wondered if you were insane, a shame at such a young age.
When the cold started to get to you again, you moved towards the door, maneuvering the basket so you could knock on the door.
Unfortunately, mid shock Donna forgot to check on Angie, who ran at the door to greet you.
The doll floated straight at your face, staring at your wide eyes. “HI!”
Your mind was running close enough to have smoke coming out of your ears. All you could think was how cool must it be to have a talking doll. So you opened a big smile and giggled. “Hi! Are you floating on your own?”
Angie nodded ferociously. “Damn right I am.”
You were about to talk back when you heard a whispered Angie and the doll excused herself into the house.
And that's when Donna showed herself to you, she expected you to run away when Angie opened the door, it was a nice surprise. “Can I help you?”
You nodded, slightly embarrassed that you didn't have a proper reason. “I wanted to bring you this.” You said, showing the basket. “Christmas is coming and…I heard you lived alone…So there was no one to give you a present. I…um…came to give you a present. I know it's not much, sorry.”
Donna smiled behind the veil, you were so adorable, so innocent…you shouldn't be here. “Your parents must be worried.”
You shrugged. “It’ll take them a few days to notice I’m gone.”
The Lady tilted her head in a silent question.
“Oh you know…they have jobs and stuff…can’t always be around, there are more important things to do, that's all.” You smiled, slightly sad.
Donna was becoming righteously angry, how could they not pay attention to their own daughter, how could they not value their own child.
The woman had to take a deep breath before talking again, being even more alert towards her flowers so they wouldn't answer her emotions. “Do you wish to come in? I believe there's more than I can eat in that basket.”
Your eyes brightened at this. “Yeah! I-I mean, sure, my Lady.”
Donna laughed at this and motioned for you to follow her into the kitchen. “You can call me Donna.”
You mostly ate in silence, Angie would occasionally almost break something but Donna usually stopped her before it happened.
When it was time for you to leave, Angie attached to your leg, staying long enough for a storm to form, therefore…you stayed.
Donna was leading you to your temporary room and Angie was calling every doll in the house for a sleepover party.
The Lady sighed at that. “I apologize for her, it’s been a while since anyone has visited.”
You furrowed your eyebrows. “Why? You’re all so nice.”
Donna fidgeted with her fingers, wondering if she should tell you the truth, what if you hated her too. “No one likes our…games.”
You nodded. “Well, I love games. What kind of game do you like?”
The dollmaker stopped in her tracks and turned to you. “Angie likes hide and seek. I-I like crafting more.”
You smiled brightly at her. “You can build stuff?! Please teach me, pleeease.” You asked, making your best sad face.
Donna laughed and shook her head. “I suppose we can make some dolls until it’s bedtime.”
You nodded so fast it got close to a whiplash.
To say that the next day was upsetting was an understatement. Angie had begged for you to stay for at least half an hour before Donna took her to another room.
The dollmaker was distraught once you left, she knew you weren't her daughter, but your parents sounded so…bad. She would be helping you if you stayed, the outside was too dangerous for someone as kind as you.
But she couldn't kidnap you, what if you hated her for it, what if she made you forget, no she would know you weren't yourself.
That was Donna’s head throughout the entire Christmas eve. The other dolls tried to cheer up the woman but it was useless. The dollmaker would just lay on her couch, waiting for you to come back, heavily considering kidnapping.
However you did come back, sooner than she expected. It was close to midnight when you knocked on her door, she was ready for you, of course she was. You were covered head to toe due to the snow, slightly shivering.
Donna quickly rushed you inside, leaving the dolls to prepare some hot chocolate while she covered you in blankets on the couch.
You were tired, your parents didn't show, only called to say they wouldn't make it for Christmas. You didn't want to be alone.
The dollmaker was concerned over your health, and angry over your parents. But she put it all aside for you. “Do you want to make some cookies? I heard it’s tradition.”
You nodded weakly and followed her to the kitchen, quickly noticing the absence of the little troublemaker. You gently tapped Donna’s shoulder. “Where’s Angie?”
“In her room, I didn't want you to be overwhelmed.”
You pursed your lips and shook your head. “I like it when she’s here.”
Donna nodded and soon enough you heard rushed little steps towards the room.
That was the first time you wished they were your family.
The second time was during Spring, you and Angie were playing tag in the garden, the snow had just started to melt still leaving some ice. The exact moment you slipped, Donna ran to you, thankfully it was only a scraped knee, you were quick to brush it off but the Lady insisted on treating it. She was terrified, but you held her hand the entire time.
The third time was another type of slip. You were trying to make an Italian dish but lightly burned your thumb. You knew Donna wouldn't allow you to touch the oven if she found out and you also knew that Angie was a huge snitch.
Hence you sitting on a stool and Donna bandaging your finger.
This time the Lady wasn't so scared, it took her less than a week after the first incident to notice you were very accident prone. “I’ll finish the dish and you can wait here.”
You were quick to complain. “But it doesn't even hurt, if Angie wasn't a snitch you wouldn't even know.”
Angie, who was attempting to steal cookies from the cabinet, quickly said “Hey!” before returning to her personal mission.
Donna sighed and shook her head. “I said no.”
You pouted. “But mo-Donna.” You froze mid-sentence, blushing furiously.
The dollmaker also froze, happily screaming internally. The woman just smiled at you. “You can help by handing me the ingredients.”
You nodded quickly.
You spent most of your teenage years at Donna’s house, considering her more your mother than your biological one. The moment you turned eighteen you moved in with her, of course you still checked in with your parents, but Donna was and always will be your family.
Colors (Donna Beneviento x GN! Reader)
Black. The ink on parchment that's smeared, because you touched it before it fully dried. The aura of impending doom that compliments the walk from the village to the manor. Black is doubt, uncertainty, questioning why you're doing this. Her dress is black, as was her entire world; a gradient of blacks and grays until you stepped over the threshold. It is her disdain, her anger at how easily you adjust and ruin her routine but Mother sent you, and she is the darkest consumer of light. Her aura is black, she is a shadow along the walls, a flicker in the corner of your eye. She hovered near you, doubtful you knew but if you did you said nothing, only shrugged it off to continue working.
You smelled like violets, a fresh breath of spring amongst the stagnant air of dust and mold. Donna never admitted it, thinking herself clever when she would sneak into your room; she would steal a few droplets of your scented oil and inhale until her brain felt fuzzy. Every time you finished cleaning a room, you would decorate it with violets. Donna often wondered where you got them, it's far too cold in the mountains for them. So she decided to follow you.
The greenhouse of course. Before you were sent to the manor you had been rebuilding the greenhouse next to her former gardener's home. It was the first time you fully saw her. She stepped into an alien planet of greenery. Flowers, shrubs, trees, vegetables, even fruit. You could bloom a lily in a desert. It made Donna cry, and rather than probe her for why she was crying, you sat on the dirt floor with her. That was too good to be true, you were too good to be true.
The best part was there were none of those invasive, yellow flowers. They bloom along the pathway to her home, mocking her failure at helping people. That's all she wanted to do, instead she doomed them to a life of damnation by their own hand. The stingy, smoker's yellow even coated itself onto her walls. She remembers, you turned your hands raw from trying to scrub the walls only to scrub the wallpaper clean off. Donna wasn't mad. Instead, she helped you replace it with something more vibrant, something different.
Orange was the very first fight. Donna insisted you move into the manor, so that you stayed closer. You had never gotten angry with her before, but she didn't explain why she wanted you in the manor. So instead she locked you away, kept you trapped inside her doll house. Orange was the realization you were hurting, so when she let you go she hurdled herself into a frenzy of orange. She destroyed everything she touched, and when there was nothing left to destroy she cried. She cried until she felt the softest speckle of touch upon her shoulder, you had returned to her.
She couldn't take it any longer after that. A midnight love confession, banging desperately at your door and the searing hot kiss that followed when you opened. A promise. A promise you made to be with her forever, you always kept your promises, and Donna believed you. Full of passion, a moment of vulnerability when she gave herself to you and you greeted her with kindness, patience, and love. Love is red; but so is anger. Donna often got angry never at you but at herself, and each time she calmed down, you would be there. Until you weren't. You had been gone for such a long time, she trusted you because you always returned. Why didn't you come back? Red is panic, scurrying, the blood pumping through her veins as she invisioned your demise. What found instead, made her vision red. It was the other woman's lipstick; the one who you made laugh.
Donna did not see you brush away the woman's advancing hand, nor the uneasy shuffle of your feet. She did not see the desperation to leave on your face, or hear the countless excuses. No; red devoured her world like an open wound seeping into a bandage. Red is dragging, screaming, gnawing, gnashing, clawing, and slashing. It is what circles the drain of her tub, as droplets of it drip from her fingertips. It is the splatters amongst the tiles, and walls that will remind her no matter how hard she scrubs. The paleness of her skin is stained red.
Fully clothed in her black dress as the water washes away her sobs, her tears and water becoming one. She sits, clutching to her chest, a doll that looks like you. It has your hair, that goofy smile, but it will never truly compare to you though. In the end, as the light dims from your eyes, you will keep your promise: to be hers, forever.
Ravens are always a common sight around the Beneviento manor. It's less dangerous for them there and Donna will feed them on the days she goes outside.
So not only are they everywhere, but they're pretty comfortable with people, especially those they recognize.
So, after you've made a habit of visiting Donna, you eventually catch her on a day that she's up for a trip outside into the grounds.
It was a nice enough day to sit out in the gardens with her and catch up. The plan was to have a picnic.
This was derailed pretty quickly. After settling down and starting to chat, a raven hopped up to the edge of your blanket. Donna cooed at it, coaxing it over closer to the two of you.
Suddenly, every raven in the area assumed they had the same permission, and you were well surrounded by them.
Ravens are large birds, and they all seemed to want to crowd onto the picnic blanket with you, pushing against you and Donna.
Donna was laughing behind her veil, letting them climb onto her and enjoying the chaotic little scene.
Opening the picnic basket was out of the question after that but the birds' company more than made up for it.
