They’re definitely not huddled up in an abandoned corner of Gotham being kept warm and guarded by Fright Knight, who has definitely not let his whole humanoid shape disappear into a more amorphous one of Fear and Shadow and Flame to keep everyone away.

Before the Avengers went to go and fight Thanos, Tony took some time to implement some tiny features into his robots -- in case he never made it home. For example, he coded DUM-E so that he'd do the little 8-bit happy birthday song on his most beloveds' birthdays. Morgan's, Pepper's, Rhodey's, Happy's, and, of course, Peter's.

Fast forward to after NWH. Tony is still in his coma post-snap (we know no death here). Pepper is cleaning his workshop as a nervous habit. Then, DUM-E starts to sing. A calm and slow playthrough of "Happy Birthday"

She lets it play out in confusion. Then, a hologram of Tony pops up, and he says, with the utmost adoration, "Happy birthday, Pete. I'm proud of you, Underoos."

And Pepper stands there in confusion because... Who is Pete?

so those following my steddie-dads series may know that Steve and Eddie named their daughters after important people in their life. Moe (or Lucy Maureen) gets her middle name from Eddie’s mom. Robbie (Amelia Robin) is named after Robin, obviously. Their third and final baby Hazel’s middle name is James, after Hopper.

In the aftermath of all the shit they went through in Hawkins, it didn’t take long for Jim to add Steve to his collection of “kids who pretend to be punching bags for people they care about” (his words). By the time Steve was stepping into adulthood, Hop was Steve’s dad in everything but blood and legal title (and that was even before Steve’s estrangement from his actual father), and when Hazel was born in 2007, he and Joyce were Steve’s second call (Robin being the first, obviously).

Two days later, their plane touched down in Boston.

Hazel was asleep when they arrived, and didn’t stir even while Steve passed her into Hopper’s arms

“Christ, she’s small,” Jim says quietly, looking down at the little baby.

“She’s actually bigger than Robbie was,” Steve replies, “Crazy different from the older two now though.”

For a second, Steve just watches, watches as Hopper adjusts the sleeping baby, watches him run a finger over her little cheek.

“Did you see her name, hon?” Joyce asks him, gesturing to the name embroidered on Hazel’s little hat (Steve had told her the name in advance, learning from experience that it wasn’t wise to catch them both off-guard at once).

Steve watches Jim squint to read the pink stitching, holding back a dumb comment about how he needed his glasses.

“Hazel…James,” Hop mumbles. He pauses, clears his throat, “That’s…what a name. Where’d you guys come up with that one.”

“After you,” Steve tells him, “In case that wasn’t clear.”

Jim is quiet for a long time, and Steve couldn’t say anything else around the tightness in his throat even if he wanted to, so he stays quiet too while Ed wraps an arm around his waist and presses a firm kiss to the side of his head.

“It’s a big honor,” Hopper finally says, his voice wrecked, not taking his eyes off the baby.

Steve can only nod.

“Well deserved,” Eddie tells him seriously, “She’s got big shoes to fill.”

Then, because he can’t help himself, he adds, “And if she starts spilling classified government secrets, we’ll know who to blame.”

i love the idea that Wild is a big brother to basically all of the kids in his Hyrule. it’s such a good heacanon that i never see utilized.

A lot of analysis of Ray and Sand moments leaves out the huge, foundational, overarching point that informs their story: Ray is rich and powerful, and Sand is poor and powerless. I’ve been noticing this for weeks and I find it so bizarre. And it’s not like the show has been subtle about it—Ray literally calls Sand a whore and treats him like an object that is his to pick up and put down as he pleases.

Why do people ignore it? Is it because the power dynamics of it all makes folks feel icky? Because it makes it hard to keep seeing their interactions as romantic? Because fam, that is exactly the point.

HI- *coughs* well, they aren’t exactly headcanons, just ideas I have that I wanna chat about.

I’m on a big Omega!Bruce kick so here they are. (these can or can’t be connected but I do love the idea of them being connected)

1. Brucie Wayne is a known Omega, one that flits from date to date. The thing is, Batman is known as an omega too. This time he’s the embodiment of an Omegan Mom protecting their nest Territory from all threats. Like Omegas used to do in the Olden Times™️, feral behavior and scenting is common >:3

2. A/B/O Dynamics don’t actually exist outside Gotham. Sure, some Gothamites have moved out so A/B/O is known, but isn’t seen outside Gothamites.

So when Dick Grayson came to Gotham he was very confused and didn’t really understand what was going on.

When Bruce eventually scoops him up and brings him home, Dick is even more confused. Atleast in Juvie the A/B/O behaviors were stifled except for posturing, but now outside of Juvie? In the home of an Omega? He’s gonna get the full brunt of Bruce both fussing over him and trying his best to not cross the line of Bruce being his Pack Guardian and not Pack Omega. (Either way, for Dick it’s very much smothering)

It doesn’t click for Bruce or Alfred until Bruce comes sulking to Alfred about his pup being broken and not even accepting being scented! Doesn’t Dick want to feel safe??? No one’s going to touch Dick if he’s smothered in Wayne Scent!!! (Maybe eventually Dick gets startled when he starts to instinctively responding as a pup would/is able to smell scents/feel pack bonds)

3. When Jason gets tossed into the Lazarus pit, it actually repairs his pack bonds. Sure, it’s not perfect, Jason can’t actually reach out through the bonds to respond- but he can feel his Pack’s love, not to mention their desperation to get him back as soon as they realize Jay’s bonds are back. (Talia, meanwhile, is still trying to convince Jay that Bruce doesn’t love him and how he replaced him, but that doesn’t quite work as Jason can feel his Pack’s love- not to mention the absolute adoration coming from the newest, weakest, and youngest link in the pack)

4. And finally four- One of the Robins vanish from the Teen Titans for quite a bit- and when they come back, they’re questioned on where they went. Robin sighs and just says Batman was being broody again, and the Teen Titans just think that Batman was brooding.

In actuality, the Robin had to deal with Bruce being broody in the chicken sense. AKA, “You Are My Child And I Will Keep You In My Nest And Focus Entirely On You And Your Well-being. ..What do you mean taking care of myself? I have to take care of my PUP!”

I absolutely adore all of this. Love the idea of it being a Gotham thing because Gotham is just Like That. Like there's so many curses and magic and who knows how many chemicals that they're like, still human but also just built different.

Gosh, if heats are a thing I like to think they're more platonic. Just, fussing over pack members and being the Broodiest Thing Ever with every family member and will get Upset if one tries to leave the Nest where they are Safe and can be Taken Care Of.

Pfft, the poor Justice League are not prepared for Batman to get broody on a mission and force them all to take care of themselves with no context. They're not his pack, but well, they have fought together and they're sort-of friends, depending on the timeline.

Poor Damian is going to get smothered, Bruce is going to get Very broody the moment Jason returns, and with Another Pup. Tim & Dick get yoinked back from the Titans Tower to be smothered and snuggled and absolutely covered in the family's scent.

Absolutely love the idea of them learning how to be a pup and pack together and am vibrating in utter glee at all of this.

I just had a thought. With all the father figures we (you, me, and others) give Cody in our AUs, I think Charlie might be jealous and worry someone is trying to replace him as Cody's father.

Yes... and no (as my thoughts can't decode)

Let's remember that a lot of time Charlie feels guilty for not spending much time with Cody. He spent most of the day in the office, doing rescue work, or with his older children at work.

If we go by canon Charlie of course would feel worried (and very threatened) that someone, maybe younger, with more experience than him, with a more extravagant or normal life would become the missing time he can't spend with Cody.

Charlie is too old, and Cody was born late. Charlie already spent a lot of time taking care of the other 3 kids who have already grown as well. Who he has to blame for that, no one.

Charlie has an importing work that no one else could/want to replace, he is obligated to stay in that position until his body tells him to stop. And when that happens, Cody will have grown too, maybe have his own children and leave for somewhere else...

I like to hc (if the Burns family if 100% related) is that Cody got that self-doubt from his dad. Like, every one of his kids got a small part of him.

He would probably come to the conclusion or gaslight himself that this is the best way for Cody to not grow alone and without guidance. And come on, is not like Cody will actually leave his side or his family.

Cody also tries hard to spend time with his father. The fact that a bunch of guys he found on his adventures want to adopt them doesn't mean that Cody will accept.

No, the kid already knows where is his home.
