I'm currently being frustrated and trying to focus but it's really hard to focus on anything when the -news- is right there lurking behind my shoulder full of terrible things and stupid people determined that they get to control the narrative of everything and just... I just want to work on my story where someone learns that the system they grew up in is more broken than they ever imagined and do their best to fight the bad parts.

Weirdly I think I'm also being self-defeating because if I -finish- Draft 1.5 than I need to move to new territory and that's -scary- and the shadow of people who I grew up with that made me feel like I wouldn't be good enough is there.

So I guess I'm saying I have a lot of shadows looking over my shoulder right now.

Muggle Charms & Wizarding Hearts, an Arthur x Molly fanfic inspired by 10 Things I Hate About You and To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before

Arthur Weasley is shy, reserved, and intelligent. Molly Prewett is outspoken, opinionated, and popular. Paired together for their Muggle Studies Capstone project, Arthur and Molly undertake one of the most confusing elements of muggle life: muggle dating rituals. Loosely inspired by 10 Things I Hate About You and To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before, Muggle Charms and Wizarding Hearts is shamelessly full of my favorite romance tropes and side characters: fake dating, miscommunication, idiots in love, a muggle studies professor who’s obsessed with 1960s/70s Harlequin Romance novels, baking, knitting, sleepovers in Gryffindor tower, thunderstorms, drive-in-movies, bowling alleys, slow dances to songs on the radio, and so much more.

I can’t wait to share this fic.

Vorremmo solo smettere di far fare 30 giri al giorno al cane che non ce la fa più neanche a muoversi dalla cuccia. Alla fine vorremmo correre in spiaggia, liberi, sentire il vento tra i capelli e stare bene. Vorremmo solo smetterla di preoccuparci di un raffreddore, dei decimi di febbre, vorremmo solo che si alzi la temperatura dei cuori e non del corpo. Alla fine vorremmo solo smetterla di ricordare quello che facevamo prima e vederlo come un tempo più che lontano e tornare a vivere. Ma vivere davvero.

NaNoWriMo Update #1

NaNoWriMo has officially started and I'm doing great! I've been taking every opportunity to write and I'll hope that I can continue this trend throughout all of November. I've done a lot of travel, so the most I've written is on my phone in the bus to work and in the train travelling to friends and family.

Now, for the statistics:

I've written 8.507/50.000 words, with a goal of writing 1.667 each day to complete it by November 30th. I've written 4/40 chapters, and would like to finish it all by November 30th. Which means that I would need to write 1.33 chapters every day.

(Yes, I made this in Excel and I’m proud of myself! I used this function for the 1st time on about 7 years, and got it working in about 30 minutes *Cheers* )

I'm way ahead on my words count goal, and right on track for my chapter goal. And it feels amazing. How are you doing right now? Don't forget there was still 26 days to complete your challenge(s).

These two adorable kitties have slowed down my reading a little as my sister is moving and I am looking after them for her. I don't mind at all cause they give the best cuddles when they aren't running around the house like they're insane haha.
