Idk maybe im being naive and this might piss some people off lol but like...
Its so weird growing up in school where i was cause we were lucky, we had history teachers that never hid or excused the horrors of American slavery, native American genocide and the Holocaust. My teacher was very direct about how important it was to know the facts about these genocides and mass governmental mistreatment. About how people would abuse your lack of knowledge to down play these events and use that misinformation to encourage further violence.
I was never prepared in middle school to have to watch the colonizer government that is America try and gaslight and brainwash this informed country about what's happening in Gaza and Palestine. I was never told it happened in my life time (it very much did surrounding 9/11 and the wars it sprung and worsened, however I was born literally 3 months before it happened so I have no living knowledge of it), infact I was told it feasibly couldnt happen in my life time, Infront of adult me with the rise of the spread of social media and Information. I was assured in those classrooms that the only reason people could hide genocide was because people didn't have the ability to talk to someone on the other side of the world in milliseconds.
That if people in other countries really truely knew what was happening truely during the slave trade and the colonization of America and especially the Holocaust, the world would of stopped it. How we all swore it wouldn't happen again. How we were the generation that would never forget and now I sit here, thousands and thousands of miles away from an ethnic cleansing similar to my ancestors and watch the people who fought for Ukraine's right to acknowledgement and survival... Tell Palestinians they should give in.
Tell Israel it has the right to exist. Ignore the Torah and it's very clear rules about how a Jewish state should never exist and ignore it. Watch my government shadow-fund it. Watch major news outlets and celebrities I loved like jack black and Jamie Lee Curtis turn on the Palestinians. Watch them sit in their big fancy houses and cushy life and tell them to die for a state that isn't even 100 yrs old and was made purely to push Jewish people out of Europe after WW2. We all know they haven't seen any footage on the ground.
We know that haven't seen the man carrying his child's body in plastic bags, they haven't seen the woman who wouldn't wash her hands of her dead child's blood because then she couldn't sleep near her children , they haven't seen the arm of an infant dead in rubble still holding a piece of bread he hadnt taken a single bite of.... And in 20 years... 30 years... Maybe even 50 years and they are all dead or aging, they'll talk about how they wanted to donate but couldn't. How they felt exhausted watching the genocide. How they were the few standing for them when the Palestinians who will survive this war, who grew up living it, try to hold their decripid, gold filled bodies accountable.
I will be there. I'll be 70 yrs old and sitting there, watching them, knowing that they were the ones who claimed they'd stand for the white victims of the invasion on Ukraine but won't stand for the brown victims of this colonization. We remember. We will always remember. They will be held accountable. The 10,000 dead and missing children will be waiting for them, telling their gods of them, because as much as they hate brown people, Palestinians are of every faith. There are Christian Palestinians, Jewish Palestinians, Muslim Palestinians... They will tell them you were complacent in the murder of these innocent fucking children. I only wish I could see it, the look on their faces, when they meet that god. And I pray they receive the same mercy those children were afforded.
The native community remembers, and we will always stand with Palestine.

this is just a widespread trend ive noticed in the progressive online jewish left but things arent inherently good for being jewish values. like obviously draw from jewish philosophy and mysticism and the tanakh and the talmud etc but the fact is you're cherrypicking from the thousands of years of jewish thought to fit your current political beliefs and justify them retroactively. which is not bad but you have to be able to recognize that's what you're doing!! additionally acting like there is a monolithic set of jewish values just adds to a zionist nation narrative we truly do not need right now

i'll never be able to articulate a political post properly but i'm fine with it. isn't it insane that for centuries theorists made up long complex reasons to explain why the goverment should exist and most agreed it had to be to bring control and a relative safety (take it in between huge quotation marks) with providing some minimal services and then neoliberalism comes in and goes "no actually the govt should do as least as possible and just tax and if you ever suffer any injustice or poverty then that's your issue and you shouldn't have been born. which by the way we don't offer you the legal tools to not have been born because we actually love poverty. if the economy tanks it's also your fault. now give us, politicans, your money and die before 60"

Ignition
Once the Galactic Coalition had (without other realistic options) given Humanity an equal position among the governing bodies, despite the fact they were a single planet race, the initial dread of what they would do eased. A little. When they showed how they powered their impossibly massive vessels, the fears of our ancestors who deemed the Responsibility Barrier a necessity reemerged a thousandfold.
The Humans, with a slight grin, said "Solar power, of course."
They took a delegation within the bowels of one of their smaller, civilian research craft, which was still bulkier, better armored, and more worryingly - better armed than most flagships of the other predator-races. Were we not able to see with our own eyes their actual, what they aptly call, Dreadnoughts, from distances you would normally need a telescope, we would have assumed this was their mightiest warship. Yet it was just one of hundreds.
As we passed through the ludicrously thick and seemingly excessive number of bulkheads and shielded and compartmentalized hallways, the ever present hum of raw power beneath our feet gradually became nerve-wracking. What is that? It reminded us of stories told by those who traveled near Black Holes - of the sheer vastness and infinite apathy they felt from the all consuming entities.
A dozen or so biometric gates later, we were greeted by a gigantic sphere, easily a hundred and fifty meters in diameter, an abomination of reinforced panels, wiring, heat pumps, and countless tubes, hanging from numerous power conduits in the middle of an even more massive chamber from behind our observation platform. A true, pure fusion reactor. And there were Humans, in full protective suits at least, working directly next to it within the ominous chamber.
"We wanted to give you a demonstration of our advances in the past millennia, so please observe as we turn on this one."
This one? As in... the power we were feeling was not from this monstrosity? We had to ask.
"Oh, of course not, this ship has three such reactors, we recently performed a full maintenance on this and decided to delay reactivating it for you to see."
The delegates' mouths (or equivalents) were agape. Sure, nuclear fusion is known far and wide, but due to it's high potential for cataclysmic failure, or worse, deliberate destruction, the vast majority of such reactors were mostly found in deep space stations where solar radiation was scarce. Background radiation converters, while efficient at what they do, were nowhere sufficient enough for anything more than as passive emergency battery chargers. And no civilization kept fusion reactors anywhere near populated or colonizeable planets.
Yet here they were, looking at one nearly five times larger than any other known or attempted. And there were three on this ship alone. They counted hundreds of similar size, a few dozen of their Dreadnoughts, thousands of smaller vessels ferrying between the stations, the surface, and other larger ships. Countless world ending bombs-in-waiting right around the Humans' only home.
"Yeah, us science ships get the biggest ones, kinda need the extra oomph for our projects. The military kids like their redundancies, so theirs are smaller."
A slight relief.
"I think their newest capital ship, the UGSF Caliban of York, has fifteen, each about half ours."
A few delegates passed out. Their attendants rushed to salvage some dignity, but Captain Knoslark of this vessel, The Radiant Dusk at Everest, didn't seem surprised or offended and simply waited for the delegation to regain composure before continuing.
"This is my favorite part."
He said quietly with a glint in his eyes, then his tone changed to a more formal and authoritative one.
"Chief Engineer Ira Tameki, status of Reactor 2."
"All green, Captain. She's ready to purr to life at your command."
"Good. Then," his tone shifted once again, to a far more theatrical one as he took a pose, half turning his body and extending his right hand towards the reactor, index finger pointing dramatically. As he pronounced every syllable of the next word, there was a silent resigned sigh from his crew:
"ignition!"
Outwardly, nothing of significance changed. The engineers clicked at their consoles, bars slowly rose and everyone was deliberately doing their best to make it clear they were ignoring the fact that the captain was still in the same pose.
There was a muffled thump from the chamber, then the hum beneath their feet became a rumble for a few moments before steadying back to a now slightly more intense almost-buzz. Physically, nothing all that noteworthy. Mentally, everyone in the delegation was in true shock as they fully understood what they had just witnessed done all too casually:
The birth of a star.

OKAY, I NEED TO MAKE SOMETHING CLEAR
I understand that you want the team you support to win, expecially if the team is not from Europe. But talking shit about croatia and saying croatia is same as western europe's teams is insane. Like girl, do you know history? Croatia wasn't colonizator and we have suffered so much through history, we literally had war 30 years ago, same as ukraine now. I had enough of arguing with toxic fans last 2 days, saying racist things about slavic people. check your facts before you speak.

"european countries" the usaamerican once more forgot that there are countries beyond the usa, canada, europe, and maybe australia. brazil is also a federated republic of states and of a more comparable size to the US. incredible how brazillians still manage to not act like the main characters of the universe and have basic knowledge about the rest of the world.
europe doesnt work here because europe is a continent and not a state. south america, asia, africa, they are continents. even european union isnt a country, nor a federation.
you cant compare austria and italy (colonizators) to croatia, slovenia, bosnia (colonized countries). we have completely different official languages, state religions, tax systems, cultural identites, economical power and influence.
same way you cant group brazil and argentina and chile, or sudan and congo. in any case idk why are they so defensive about this and refusing to look at the world map, everyone else does it

“Lance? What are you doing here?”
Making sure you’re okay, but saying that would only make Shiro feel guilty.
“Keith is snoring particularly badly tonight,” Lance says instead. “My ears need a break.”
It’s only a half-lie. Keith is snoring particularly loudly tonight (and almost always directly in his ears, because no matter what position Lance squirms into during the night, Keith will always manage to pull Lance in close within two minutes. Keith is the world’s cuddliest sleeper, despite how much he likes to appear otherwise). But Lance likes the sound of Keith’s snoring, as embarrassing as that is to admit. In fact, he actually needs it to fall asleep, now. The last time Keith took on a week-long mission for the Blades, Lance only managed to pass out a total of two times without the constant white noise of his boyfriend’s rumbly breathing.
Shiro snorts. “I bet. Adam and I used to joke that the boy damn near rattled the walls. No part of me misses that mess, I’ll admit.”
“Yeah? Even baby Keith snored?” Lance asks, making his way to the little kitchenette. He’s not sure that hot chocolate will help, but it sure as shit won’t hurt. Also, he wants something to do with his hands.
Shiro rests his chin in his hands and sighs fondly. “Oh, yeah. We didn’t know he snored for the first couple days he was with us, ‘cause he was too nervous to sleep right. But that third night he stayed with us — ho-ly shit. I remember Adam totally freaking out because he thought a bear had gotten into the apartment, which made me laugh so hard I woke Keith up.”
Lance giggles as he mixes the sugar into the milk, Shiro chuckling right along with him.
“What other stuff was baby Keith up to? I know about the car incident, and some other scattered stories, but Keith mostly only tells me embarrassing stories about you.”
“Does he now.”
Lance shrugs, grinning. “I’m particularly fond of the story of when you and Adam first met. That one’s funny.”
Shiro scowls. “Whatever Keith said to you was a lie, because he’s a little snot. Ignore him.”
“Are you telling me,” Lance says in an exaggerated Southern belle accent as he brings two mugs over to the table, “that I should ignore my husband? Why, Shiro, dear heavens! It almost sounds like you’re angling for our divorce!”
Shiro gives him a deadpan look, raising an eyebrow, but he can only hold the face for about two seconds before they both burst into laughter, desperately shushing each other so as to not wake up the rest of the team. Eventually, though, their giggles die down, and they sit drinking their hot chocolate in a comfortable silence.
As he nears halfway through his cup, Lance starts tapping his fingers on the mug, expelling some jitters. He knows he has to bring up the subject, figure out why Shiro’s awake with such heavy eye bags and how to help. He wants to help. But he doesn’t quite know how to segue into the issue. He sucks at segues.
Eh, fuck it. Segues are for straight people.
“Is it nightmares?”
Shiro deflates, looking infinitely more exhausted than anyone should ever have to. Lance’s heart aches for him. “Kinda,” Shiro admits. “I am having regular nightmares. It sucks. But — and this is so depressing — I’m so used to being traumatized that the nightmares don’t really scare me, if that makes sense? Like, say I get a nightmare where Haggar is sawing off my arm as I’m awake. Okay. Whatever. It just feels like an everyday thing, y’know?”
Lance winces. He has his fair share of nightmares and struggles, but not so frequently that they’ve just become the status quo.
“I guess the thing that’s really keeping me up is the constant overthinking. I mean, I signed up to lead a small research mission. Now I’m responsible for overthrowing a 10 000 year old colonizational genocide and I feel like nothing I do is helping, and everything is falling apart., and I’m letting you all down at every turn.”
Lance is silent for a moment, thinking. He has to take this slowly, carefully. It’s a rare night for Shiro to open up about his struggles, and Lance wants to help him, dammit.
“Remember Keith’s last Blade mission?” he asks quietly.
Shiro hums his assent.
“I’m pretty sure you already know, but I slept maybe ten hours that week. Routine changes like that are… rough, for me, and it gets worse if I’m struggling before the change. And I was. I know Keith didn’t have a choice, and he had to go, and I wanted him to go, but it was fucking hard. I know it’s probably not great for me to be so dependent on him, either, but the fact of the matter is that I was ducking into corners every few hours to cry. I was exhausted, I was homesick more than usual, I wasn’t eating right because all the food was feeling off, everything was just so fucking horrible.”
Shiro looks surprised to hear this, and Lance hurries on before he can start to feel guilty for not noticing (because that’s Shiro — putting the weight of the world on his shoulders so his loved ones don’t have to carry an ounce).
“I didn’t want anyone to know. It’s frustrating for me to struggle like that. But Shiro — you were such a big help to me. Huge.”
“How could I have been a help? I didn’t even notice!” Shiro protests.
“You may not have noticed everything specifically, Shiro, but you knew I wasn’t my best, and you were so accommodating without being coddling. Honest to God, I could not believe how supported I felt. My mom still struggles to get that right, sometimes, but every time you spoke to me you hit the balance right every time. It made absolutely everything easier. I can’t imagine how much more I would have struggled if you weren’t there for me.”
Lance reaches over and clutches both of Shiro’s hands in his, smiling warmly as Shiro stares at him with wide, incredulous eyes.
“I mean it, Shiro. Seriously. Thank you. You’re doing excellent — you have nothing to worry about.”
Shiro closes his eyes as his face crumples, and the tears finally fall. Lance moves over to hold Shiro tightly, trying to squeeze all his love and appreciation into the hug.
“I’m proud of you, Shiro,” he whispers, and Shiro sobs.
Lance wonders the last time someone said that. He holds Shiro close, resting his temple on Shiro’s shaking head, and vows to make sure the man hears it more often.
Because there’s no one team Voltron is prouder of than their leader.

• Wakanda forever, Líik'ik Talokan and Glory to Ukraine •
[ ukrainian girl's perspective of the latest mcu movie ]
Tumblr media
I watched [ Black Panter: Wakanda forever ] recently, and I can clearly tell - it's gonna be my favorite movie of the long long time. It's an amazing, really good action movie, one of the most epic I've seen. I loved it so much to see beautiful cultures, and all honor to Chadwick Boseman's memory made me very emotional every time. Like those silent moments whole audience was silent too, almost holding their breath.
Tumblr media
And the most important for me was character of Namor, his arc and whole point about colonization. This period of time, colonization of America and erasing cultures hurted me so deep as an autistic child with history as an interest, and now I can relate so much with all this stories as an adult woman of the nation fighting for independence [ and survival basically ].
In our National Day of Dignity and Freedom want to talk with you about it. Why it is so important for me personally, and maybe for many conscious people of our nation as well.
Not for trying to compare who suffered more through the history. It never was, and never will be my goal, this would be awful thing to do. But to share history of my people and explain why this movie and character affected me so much.
For short - though Namor despites human kind in general I hope he might be pleased to see our "let's burn colonizators to the ground" resistance after hundreds of years of oppression, when old 'mighty' Europe only saying they're conserned and "let's just calm down and talk everybody". Heaven knows we tried everything, we tried to talk so many times. Russians do not want to talk with us - they want to make us assimilated part of their country, or they want us dead. And we just want to be left alone and live our lives.
For a bit longer story - just look at this monstrosity of a country. Is this normal for country to be THAT enormously big?
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
You can say: - Maybe. And I will say: - Only if all subjects having equal rights, impact and independence inside the union.
But things never in the history of russian expansion was like that,  and im going explain it, and hope you will get it why  I have used word "colonizators" earlier.
I really wanted to write a whole proper article or essay about this, but I'm without electricity for most of the time lately. "Thanks" to russian missiles damaging our power plants. And it become really hard for me to engage in deeper research, to translate and put in here sources that wasn't originally in english.
So instead it will be more little history lesson with knowledge from my head, and little documentaries from other intelligent people, which I recommend you to watch to illustrate my point. Videos was made by ukrainan creators, so yu can trust them, english subs that can be turned manually if you open them on YouTube, I'm still not sure how this works here.
I'll mostly use history of my country as an example since i know it better, I feel I have no right to talk about other nations at their behalf.
So Muskovy [ USSSR and modern Russia ] is like adopted offspring of the Golden Horde.
Tumblr media
Golden Horde expanfion, you can spot something similar already
It expands only to consume resources, erasing native people of that lands. Do you think small swampy peace of land it originally was had all that gas, oil and wood they're bragging about nowadays?
Do you think there wasn't native people in that land who was exterminated, exiled or assimilated so russians can use resources this nation had? They didn't even had a clear access to big water.
Muskovy was a small part of Kyevan Rus' on a distant swampy land, but it wanted more influence in the world, a clear access to the big water - Black Sea that we had, since they didn't have it and felt like they missing up whole worldwide trading and invasive wars party.
To do so they tried to get all the land for themselves. Kyevan Rus' then was successful and strong country of its time but had an internal issues [ muskovy as one of them ] and was struggling with every neighbor wanted to get a part of its territory.
Interesting story for another time, let's focuse on a russian part of it.
So Muskovy put their eyes on not only territories of modern Crimea, wich was their own country that days  - Crimean Khanat, but all modern Odesa-Mykolaiv-Kherson-Mariupol lands. But they can't get there easily, they need to concuer all the land, wich is not bad itself as it has a lot of coal, forest ant great agricultural potential.
But my people don't wanted to give it up so easily, wanting our territories back, wanting a safespace for our culture and history, so fighted with their lifes. This leads to more than 300 years of  [ - give me your land! - no. ] and after becoming an Empire strong enough to overpower us [ - give us our independence back! - no. ] cycles of merciless wars.
And than Russian Empire coming up with a time proved strategy. I don't know did they make it by themselves or sneaked a peak of it by older empire-sisters but they're using it til now,  evolving from Russian Empire to USSR to Russian federation like some wicked Pokémon.
And here's coming the interesting part with the videos I prepared for you,  grab some snacks and let's go.
The first one is about how russia tried to erase our language
youtube
This one about them them trying to erase our culture and replace it with a fucking joke.
youtube
And the last one is about creating an image of our people as angry, stupid and degraded, with THEM as superior nation above us, mostly in our heads.
youtube
They knew what they were doing and did that on purpose. They wanted make us ashamed of our culture, to separated us from who we are and mash into a faceless "brotherhood nations" with recourses to use.
Unfortunately - it worked, and worked very well as whole nation has an inferiority complex now, simpy denying ourselves. Feeling like its better to be associated with them, to blend in what they are calling culture, than discover our own one, that was appropriated, stolen or forgotten for generations, almost fighting for not to be lost forever.
So-called "big brother of ours" enslaved our people with serfdom, suppressin our attempts to embrace our heritage, to gain independence, causing artificial hunger Holodomor in 1932-33 also known as Terror-famine in Ukraine, or by repressions like Executed Renaissance. Our culture is still alive and kicking, but you can see there was not big room for blooming.
Those who they couldn't execute - they calling heritage of their own. For example Treasure Island animation, dr. Livesey from it internet loved so much not so long ago - it's actually ukrainian made.
They simply called russain everyone talented or famous from so-called union. They made sure it's almost impossible for you to pursue your ambitions as a scientist, artist or musician anywhere but Russia, so if you work in Russia you will be seen as and caled russian, no matter where you from.
No matter wich culture certain traditional attires [ vyshivanka or papakha ] dish [ borsh or chebureki ] or other heritage  like giorgian dance woman lezghinka russians calling their beryozka now, came from - it all claimed by them as their general [ stolen ] russian culture.
They did it not only to us. I told I wouldn't be speaking of other nations but just take a look what was done to Crimean tatars.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
If you thought I made up my point about them wanting access to the sea VERY BAD
You may search on YouTube or TikTok how russians treating their neighbor "former soviet union" countries [ like Republic of Kazakhstan or Georgia ] when visiting them.
Like "you should be grateful we bring civilization to your land" and "your native name is to hard for me to pronounce, I'll just call you Masha, Natasha, Ivan etc." Ask people of other Caucasian regiongs about how they was and still treated till now, ask belorusians about their language [ spoiler - it is dying ].
Its so unfair, that now we are screaming at the top of our lungs to be heard, for people to see us the nations of our own, to just let us be and cherish our culture.
But our voices are suppressed by voices of our oppressors telling us to calm down and listen to them since they know the better way for us to live and solve problems THEY CAUSED. With no regrets or reflexia.
And world prefers to listen to them, praising them, insted of listen to people who was offended, if not to say violated, by them. Not only us, many other nations,.
After all i said this story may sound familiar to black people, indigenous people of America, people of other colonized countrie - because IT IS.
Or you may say to me:
- I'ts just white's business, mind it on your own.
Ok, though its not very correct statement, but I'll take it for now. Let me show you this video, then - Russia is literally colonizing African countries right now for their woods. They won't stop. They simply don't want to, still thinking imperial way.
youtube
             •••• ••••   •••• ••••   •••• ••••
Thank you for reading all of this to the end.
My point here was not to make this movie and other people's trauma about my people, to take it away from you. This is YOUR history and YOUR experience.
I'm writing this not to impose ourself in your place, not to say that we can completely 100% clearly understand what are you feeling. I just wanted to share what are going through, to show why this movie in general and Namor in particular is so important and precious to me as.
I feel like he was right all along, just like us wanting nothing other than protect his land and people. Time is now for Ukraine and someone has to end this monster, burn those russian world | peace* they bringing everywhere they go, and we'll not hasitate.
* in russian there's one world for this term, basically it means "coercion some country to peace by violence and propaganda for expantion through the world"
I think it's really important to point some serious issues in movies like that. You may not like the movie, or actors or else, I respect that, but it's social commentary, it's impact you can't overestimate.
I believe some nations should be pointed at this on and on and on like "yes, YOUR nation did it. Yes. Yes it did. It's part of your history and responsibility is not going anywhere. Your way of thinking now is a part of the problem! Take it, rethink it and work it out,  like a mature nation should".
I believe that we can overcome this trauma, educate people [ though some of them may use the Clockwork orange therapy instead ], and in some time make world a better place without all this shit.
I've seen [ Wakanda forever ] two times at theaters already and I'm planning to go for it again. I want it to make a good income, I want corporations see at least financial benefit of educating people, of making an empathy gap smaller.
I want them to seek profit in making a good culture and history representation, to give voice for this people to talk to a wider group of people - its freaking Marvel, after all. To educate and unite those who suffering with generational and colonial trauma.
For example after "Encanto" someone might catch themselves wondering - who was those people that attacked Abuelas village and why would they do that?
Like "The Woman King" left me shaken . Movie may not be 100% historically accurate, as I'm aware, but it was good as the work of art, it showed culture, tradition, and the tragedy. It really drove me to this culture, I hope many people as well wanted to know more, and more.
Simple wandering who K'uk'ulkan may originally be, what a meaning his figure may originally have, may lead people to more serious research. To study, to respect and adore as this cultures in the way they deserve to. Like my childish adoration is booming and blooming now, bringing me so much joy, im eager to learn and resurch. I just hope books from my childhood aren't burned to ashes in occupied town where I left them.
And I'm only waiting for my salary to try to buy some books end explore world of Black Panter more. Same for comics in general - I was torn from pop-culture growing up, trying regaining this loss in past few years, taking friendly recommendations here, indigenous, POC or queer stories\creators is a priority.
I'm open for discussion, since my mind is a mess after this movie. I have so many thoughts, I love it - the movie and thinking thoughts -  very much.
We can also discuss how amazing it is to see celebration of any other than white european cultures on the big screen, how beautiful it is to see people of color on the leading roles, and black people in position of power through the plot. To show them as good and proud people, who know their worth, and will not tolerate any disrespect towards them. [ and how pleasing it is to see so pissed off people those empathy ends when starts conversation about the minority they can't associate themselves with. It's not about or for you, wolrd is changing, adjust a little, baby boy ]
We can discuss the messages from Black Panter movies that someone with the real power do not use it to cause harm, but the weak ones always seeking power to abuse the others. The message about loss and grief. Like now I have deeper understanding of our national motto "heroes never die".
Or we can share our love to Namor. As my sister told me after the movie - despite our shared thalassophobia we'd love be one of Talokan people. To have place then you'll be safe and secure, to have fatherly caring figure of K'uk'ulkan that always by your side protecting you, making sure that all will be well. Aqua papi? Aqua papa, por favor, gracias. And please - his little wooden house - isn't it adorable? Does his mother inspired him to make it? Does that mean his heart still have some little room for something from the surface? I don't need sleep, I need answers.
You can offer your theme to talk about, but if you coming to start some rude shit here - I'll not hesitate to block you immediately. Same goes for those who didn't like the movie as much as I did, I respect that, just chill out and pass by.
For the ones who read this to the very end - exclusive announcement. On my art acc I'll definitely draw my beloved feather serpent god, not once nor twice, since now it's a comfort character of mine and im going to embrace my urge for historicall, cultural and mythological studies as much as i can. But with some time pass. I have the ideas, now I need to gain some stability, mental at least. I'd love to share love for him with you, feel free to be my guest.

Divisões no Brasil? Racismo? Sai fora!
O Brasil é um estado de espírito: _ é o orgulho de ser o Brasil Brasileiro.

What commercial opportunities are there in space, beyond tourism, realistically. The asteroid belt is far away, we don't have the tech to make self sustaining Habs in space yet, no planets are colonizable, any resource you could get in space is FAR cheaper just digging up here. It would never get traction as a "green" alternative to mining on earth, simply because of the costs. We won't even recycle plastic and that all happens here on earth. What would the utility of commercial space stations be beyond near earth orbit hotels? What company would be willing to build a purely scientific module to 'replace' the ISS? the most I think you could hope for is a friendly dock and a rental hall that is usually a business center for travellers. So NASA would have to launch any equipment they needed every single time.

A question about your world building.
If empire of ivernse (i think thats how you spell it) has the biggest coast and many naval trade neighbors.
Wouldn't it make sense that they have a big navy?
And if they do, wouldn't it make sense that they would try to colonize to the east?
Hi Nadiv, thanks for the ask!
Ivranse does have a very well respected navy. I haven't decided if it's the largest in terms of numbers, but quality wise it is one of if not the best on Hessdalen.
But this is Ivranse of the year 173.
Back when colonization was beginning in and around year 0, the Kingdom of Ivranse had only existed for about 30 years. It was small, relatively poor, and had to constantly dedicate resources to defense against the warring microstates along every inch of its land borders. It had too many problems at home to be able to consider colonizing.
Colonization happened on a much smaller scale on Hessdalen than it did on Earth. Rosnen, the small landmass in the middle left of the map, and the Kythelon Islands in the upper right corner were really the only regions that were colonizable. And by the time the Empire of Ivranse truly began to take shape, all of the land in these places were already taken by Norphendran or Lenvaian powers. And at that point trying to take a slice for themselves may have started a bigger conflict at home that would not have been worth it.
Ivranse did get a few overseas territories though. Its islands in the Kythelons were taken from Gurngeshia after it was occupied, and it seized a few others as the Ecosiarian empire collapsed. But a big reason why they didn't colonize was because Emperor Rexon simply didn't want to.
He wanted to focus on building domestic strength and integrity before he ventured too far outwards. He did make a few attempts at taking colonies, like Daskosan Vontrior. But this was only because he felt it was rightfully Ivrain based on an old legend, and after his defeat in that war he made no more attempts to expand an overseas empire through militaristic means.
And in Ivranse, whatever Rexon says goes.
I hope this more or less answers your question, and I hope it makes sense lol. Thanks again for sending an ask!
