Okay
I don't know what happened, I don't know if Horikoshi had input or what. But they clearly took a different approach this season. I mean last season had an arc that was SOLELY about the villains, and that wasn't enough for them to get the kind of focus they did this season.
I don't know how to explain it but it's like the anime team finally GETS IT.
Like yes!! The villains are important!! Their connections to the heroes are important!!! Let's draw attention to that NOW since it's like 90% of the focus for the final arc!!!!
Because not only did they focus on the villains, they focused on who they're connected to on the hero side.
Look at Ochacko and Toga, who for the most part don't get much focus in art and extra stuff:
Tumblr media
Ochacko (she looks sooo pretty in that first picture 😭) turns around and sees Toga's handkerchief. Ochacko never saw that handkerchief, it was never something that was brought to her attention. But her seeing it here, and then it immediately flashing to:
Tumblr media
Toga and Twice, who are connected by the handkerchief. And Twice was Toga's breaking point during this arc, and that breaking point brought her to Ochacko.
I love the way they used that here, it's subtle but it's obvious. 10/10
Then Touya (I wonder what anime only people who really avoid spoilers think of this lolol)
I love how they drew the connection to BOTH of his parents. Not just the one, but both. It really drives it home that it’s not about Touya’s dad. It’s not about Endeavor. It’s about their family. The family Endeavor and Rei both created. All of them are important.
Tumblr media
Beautiful, amazing, heart breaking.
The only slight disappointment is the absence of Shouto, but his role becomes much more prominent later. So I’m sure we’ll see them together in openings and endings in the last season.
Then the butterfly, and the dream scape that Shigaraki wakes up from, into a brand new "life form", after sleeping in a cocoon for four months, like a butterfly.
Tumblr media
Then we get some moments that aren't in the manga, but expand on what IS in the manga.
Shigaraki looking at all the destruction he just caused with the touch of a hand. Looking like he's thinking.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Then The Trauma, and no more thinking. Time for more destruction.
Then:
Tumblr media
I have nothing much to say here. I do love the way they adjusted from the manga panel and made Tenko stand up, just to make it a little different. He's a tad bit taller, even though they're technically the same age in that panel. And I LOVE how they put Tenko in the shadows, and Izuku in the light walking toward the shadows. Just, 10/10. (lol at their current height difference tho, shig is quite a bit taller lmaooo)
Eyes. Looking at the lonely path ahead, both of them.
Tumblr media
Again, looking at the lonely, self-destructive path ahead. Both of them.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Anyway—I’m done I think. I wasn’t expecting anything like this. I’m glad I kept my expectations minimal because I get pleasantly surprised.
10/10, all of it.

The sweet sound of the school bell rings throughout and the school and every single student sighs in relief of the noise. You glance up at the clock on the wall before looking around the classroom where students are packing up their bags while talking noisily to one another.
You allow yourself to recline in your chair, left arm reaching back to where your backpack dangles off the seat and slide your hands into the side pocket, grabbing your phone.
Nicky Ricky Dicky: I’m alive!

Char: y/n. STOP. come outside before i die
Y/N: omg… such a drama king like okay
You write and yet, you’re quick to jump from your chair and snatch your bag before sliding it on your shoulder. You push in your chair and skip out into the hallways where you see Elle. “Heya, Elle!”
She smiles warmly and waves goodbye to her friends before stepping in sync with you. “Hey there, Miss, didn’t catch your name.” You bump her shoulder and she bumps you back. “What’re you up to?”
“Charlie’s gonna come pick me up, hopefully via bike… mines broke the other day.” You sigh and she gives you a look of pity while trying to bite back a grin. Then she perks up.
“Not Nick?”
You shake your head, rubbing a hand against your temple. “Mm-mm, you ever just get a feeling something is off?”
Elle nods, turning her face away from you and her hands grip onto the handle of her bag that bounces against her legs. “Yeah, just putting it out there… graduation may be on his mind, I know its on mine and it’s been kicking my ass to be honest,” You wrap an arm around her in comfort and she hums in appreciation. “Just all that weird stuff, weird thoughts and anxiety…” Then she pauses, raising a hand and flicking her wrist. “Okay- not weird, but you know.”
That makes you snort, “Yeah, I get’cha… maybe, but we’ve always been open about that kind of stuff, I just don’t understand why it’d be a issue… I mean, we’ve talked about it many times before so it’s kind of odd, I guess?” You and Elle share a look of confusion before shrugging.
“Maybe it’s been having more of an impact y’know? You can speak easily about something when you’re not there yet but… graduation is coming up and everyone is worried about the future. You know how things don’t hit you till it’s happening literally next week or something? Maybe its hitting harder.”
Your heart clenches in pain at those words. She’s not wrong, there is a high chance it’s staring to affect him more… hitting harder than you’d know. You nibble on your bottom lip in concern and furrow your eyebrows,
“Well. If he’s being an idiot and isn’t gonna come to us about it then I’ll beat him up.” You place your hands on your hips, lightly joking to disperse the tense air between the two of you. Of course he isn’t being an idiot but you refuse to let him stress on his own. Elle chokes out a laugh in surprise.
“Oh god, he better run, she’s scary when she’s angry.” One of her hands let go of her bag and she hold her stomach while laughing a bit more. “Wouldn’t that be a sight?”
You scoff, “Like we haven’t argued before.”
“You argue about literal video games.”
“Stop.” You laugh and push at her shoulder. “Oh, and Elle, you know I’m your friend and if you ever need an ear to lend about college talk or need help to get your mind off of it to just relax, you got me.” She stares at you for a few beats before cracking into a grin.
“Thank you, Y/N. You know you got me too.”
Outside the school building you’re quick to spot two familiar figures by the gate. “Yes, he’s here!” Your arms raise in celebration then instantly flop down, “There’s no bike…!”
Elle calls out which makes the two boys stiff in seconds.
“Get your butts over here, Mr. Xu and Mr. Spring!” They awkwardly crane their necks to your direction and simultaneously sigh in relief – probably thinking you were teachers.
“You nearly gave me a heart attack!” Tao exclaims as you and Elle once you’re right infront of the two, gesturing to his heart. Elle is quick to place a hand over his chest – Tao’s cheeks lowkey reddening but you decide not to point it out for his sake – and her eyes widen a bit.
“Tao, your chest is gonna shoot out your chest.”
“See?”
“That is the goal, sire.” You finger gun at him and he smacks your hand away lightly with an exasperated look. It makes you giggle. “Elle is just feeling a little silly today.”
“It’s my agenda.” She grins before engulfing Charlie into a hug and he squeaks in surprise before squeezing her back. “Hello, Charlie!”
“Are you sure your heart isn’t pounding because you’ve gotten your daily dose of Elle?” You whisper while stepping in line next to Tao, facing your head to your other friends but you can see him tense at the corner of your eye.
He pinches his nose bridge, mumbling and you catch some of the words, suspiciously sounding like him saying he’s gonna fight you. His cheeks bloom a rosy rose so you take the win either way and smugly smirk at him.
“Hi, Elle!” His muffled laugh catches your attention, making you and Tao smile at the interaction before you wrap an arm around the latter, making him eyeroll, of course he does, but he wraps an arm around your shoulder and gives you a light squeeze in response.
“We best be off on our merry way,” You speak up, checking the time as the two friends let go of eachother. “I wanna stop by that new shop that opened a few weeks ago… Is that fine, Char?”
He gives you a thumbs up and Elle speaks, “Let me know how their desserts taste, I’ve been wondering but honestly they don’t look that good so…” She stares at you with a grimace before shrugging.
“Noted~” You say in a singsong voice before wrapping your arms around Charlie. “I’ll call you later, enjoy your afternoon date.” You and Charlie give the couple teasing grins and they take the bait, looking away in shyness but Tao takes the initiative and connects their hands together. It makes you melt.
“Shut up.” He groans, snapping but tone very much unthreatening adding on the fact he’s trying to cover his flustered face with his free hand.
“Yes, yes grumpy old man, we’ll see you later.” You and Charlie waist no time to start down the road with waves.
“Bye!” He shouts.
“I’m not a grumpy old man!” Tao stomps his foot, comedically. Right. How could you make that mistake?
“Bye, Y/N and Charlie!” Elle laughs with a wave and tugs her totally-not-grumpy boyfriend off in the other direction. You watch their hands tighten around eachother, squinting in amusement when Tao’s scowl instantly softens into a lovestruck gaze.
“Ahhh, young love.”
“You’re starting to sound like the old one here.” Charlie snickers, hands coming up to hold onto your forearms that are still bounded around him.
“You wound me, Char.” You squeeze him and he huffs. “I literally think the same when you and Nick are interacting, it’s so,” You make weird noises, fingers wiggling. “Y’know? Very sweet. Very cute, I even have some photos of you latching onto eachother while sleeping. Wanna see-?”
His brain feels like it’s shutting down, lightly smacking your arm when you lift it as to grab your phone. “Stop it.” You could practically see those animated stars swirling around his head and laugh.
You relent and unwrap your arms with a cheeky smile. He glances at you before hiding his face in his hands. “Ughh, whatever. You act like you don’t jump Nick the minute you see him.” Yeah, that’s crazy. You feel your own cheeks flaring up.
“You must be blind.”
“No, no, no. Don’t do that.”
“Do what?”
“Lie!” He exclaims in a joking tone, uncovering his face and poking you in accusation. You lean away, losing your balance and forcing yourself to lean on your tippy toe. Your other foot comes down onto pavement with a stomp and you twirl like you’re dancing. Charlie definitely notices this misstep, doesn’t say anything but you see his shoulders shaking in silence. He’s laughing.
“I never lie?” You pick off the conversation.
“Was that a question?” He tilts his head back at you.
“No?”
He stares at you, eyebrow twitching and you puff out your cheeks like a frog, looking anywhere but in his direction. “You’re awfully cheeky today.”
“How am I being cheeky?” He gives you a look like you’re being ridiculous.
“Charlie Spring is a little cheeky today, my oh my, what have I done to deserve this.” Then you raise your voice in a slight yell, “Ahhh! Who is this?! This isn’t my Charlieeee…!” Your arms reach for the sky.
“You’re an idiot.” He takes the chance and poke you again which makes you yelp. You narrow your eyes. He runs off, you chase.
That was last week. You haven’t seen your boyfriend in a couple of days and it’s concerning. He responds hours late to your messages, doesn’t even respond in your group chat with Charlie, his calls barely last ten minutes and you literally haven’t seen this man in person. Charlie tells you he still shows up at school but his eye-bags are pretty bad.
“Is he avoiding me? I’m confused.” You frown, balled up on Charlie’s bed and feeling very mixed. A little annoyed, a little sad, and alot of worried. Charlie sets down two mugs on his bedside table and sits next to you on the bed. His rests a hand atop of your head and lightly taps it.
“No… I don’t think so. I see him at school and he tries to act normal but even he doesn’t respond to me like that outside of school.” The scowl his face makes has deepened and you’re quick to wrap an arm around his leg in comfort. He lets out a weak smile but it’s quick to fall off his face. “I’m confused too…”
You both stay silent, it’s nearly deafening. “I don’t wanna force him to tell us anything – I mean, he knows he can come to us if he needs it but if he’s really stressed about school maybe we can help give him some space to not think about it. Even if its only for a bit, you know?” Charlie listens to you mumble while tugging at a loose thread on his sweater and nods slowly, eyes lost in thought.
“Should we go somewhere?” He tilts his head back to look at the ceiling before his gaze travels around his room’s walls, hoping to find an inkling of inspection.
“That sounds fine.” The somber feeling in the room lifts a bit when you start to grin. You shift onto your back, raising your right arm in the air and sprawl out your fingers. “We could go out, do something and eat… I kinda wanna stargaze, is that weird?”
He lets out a chuckle, glancing down at you with a teasing glint in his eyes, “Wow, you’re such a romantic, Y/N. I’m shocked.” To which you scoff.
“Well, duh. Who makes all the date plans?”
“Okay, no, that’s because you say we’re bad at planning dates – you refuse us to even be involved.”
“Charlie, Nick brought you to a dog park as a date.”
“What’s wrong with that?”
“You both stayed there till nine.”
He full on laughs now, bumping you with his knee and you smack it back in retort. “No judgement though, I would do the same but that was for the whole day! Who stays at a dog park from Eleven to Nine?” He continues to laugh until they turn into giggles.
“Maybe… we’re unique.”
“True that. You didn’t even bring baby Nells, shaking my head.” To put emphasis, you shake your head and your friend has to gasp out for air. “Don’t die, now.”
“Whatever whatever.” He brings his hands to his face and rubs his cheeks in circular motion to calm himself. His face is flushed and he exhales slowly before reaching for his phone. “Do you want your drink?”
You remove your arm from his leg and sit up properly, holding on your hands and he complies, placing the mug between them. “Thank you~” You lean on the wall, flopping your legs onto Charlie’s before crossing them at the ankles – to which he sighs in annoyance and it makes you grin. “What’re you doing?”
“I’m gonna search for places to go that is nearby but not too close… you have a place in mind for stargazing?” He grabs his own mug that is black and littered with yellow stars, how ironic. You nod sleepily, slowly sipping your preferred drink and tap at the cup absentmindedly.
“Yeah, it’s near my house.”
He flicks his eyes towards you for a second.
Then goes back to typing on his phone.
“You mean it is your home.”
“Maybe.”
You smirk, he sighs and you both go back to planning. Nick honestly better be willing to get his ass dragged out of the house by his lovely girlfriend and boyfriend because money is involved and you both would be damned if he just wallows in self despair, alone.
So, that’s what happens, you fill Charlie’s parents in on needing to steal your bestfriend during the weekend and some of the plans involved like a movie night. They agreed to let him stay over for the night but he must call every few hours or atleast text.
Your parents love the boys and were completely down with the idea. Of course you also secretly called Nick’s mum and she had filled you in on a couple things that made you a tad bit more nervous to see your boyfriend.
Seems like your assumption was correct (more like Elle’s). “Lately he’s been talking about colleges, right… he’s planning to go on a trip sometime this month to check them out but he seems stressed, it’s been worrying me. You know though, kids probably don’t want their parents all in their business, haha,” She laughs softly and you can hear running water cut off on her end – probably washing something – “He knows he can come to me so I’m just letting him have his space. It’s lovely you and Charlie want to ease his mind! Glad he’s with and friends with two sweethearts,” This makes your face flare up in embarrassment but your chest puffs with pride.
“Of course, and I know he appreciates you being patient and understanding with him. The thing we don’t wanna do is pressure him… I just hope this can help take his mind off of the stress and you know… relax?” You grimace a bit, tugging at the end of your sleeve as the phone sits between your ear and shoulder.
“I get it, mhm. Thank you, Y/N.” Her voice is still soft but gets even more sincere with a hint of emotion. Had you feeling emotional too.
Saturday is quick to arrive and you stare at your reflection with determination. Brushing down your outfit, you admire your date look a bit more before turning around slowly and snatch your bag off the bed which is filled with random necessities that you may or may not need along with your wallet.
“Alright, Nick Nelson, prepare yourself for the best date you’ll ever be on.” You puff out your cheeks, grab you phone of the charger and exit your room. “I’ll be off, Mother~” You hum once you reach the end of the staircase and spot your Mom on the couch with a paper in hand.
“What is with the formal address?” She chuckles behind her hand, standing up and following you towards the front door. “I’ll see you later tonight with Nick and Charlie, right? Enjoy yourselves.” She smiles, wrapping her arms around your head and you hug her back with a gentle squeeze.
“Oh! Wait.”
She quickly unravels herself from you and speeds down the hall to the kitchen. Your eyes stare down the direction she went for a few seconds before deciding to slip on your shoes.
“Okay, here you go.” You’re standing with the door open by the time she comes back and she gives you a picnic basket. It’s not super big but you have to grab it with two hands. Less from the size, more from the weight.
“Mom. What did you pack in here?” You huff out a laugh, going to open the lid but she stops you.
“No, do not open it. It’s like… a wedding. You can’t see your spouse or it’ll be bad luck!” She speaks with a finger raised and you cock an eyebrow up. Whatever you say, Mom is basically your expression and she seems to notice because she places her hands on her hips with an exasperated look. “Just trust me, I’ve done it before and it was bad luck all day.”
“Mhm, mhm, right.” You nod, half listening and backing up on your porch. She follows, hand on the doorknob with a soft smile and she pinches your cheek with her other hand. “Thanks, I love you.”
“Love you too, honey.” She full on grins now and waves. After your ‘see you later’ promises, you’re quick to dart down the street and across the roads to a nearby park where Charlie said he’d meet you after picking up Nick. It gives you enough time to unload the nice lunch packed for the three of you and hopefully buy some refreshing popsicles or ice creams before they arrive.
Seems like luck is on your side though – maybe your Mom was right – because the minute you finish laying out the huge blanket in a nice shaded area you hear the sound of someone ringing a familiar bell sound. You turn your head so quick it nearly gave you whiplash and your eyes widen at the person walking along the park’s path, pushing a white squared cart decorated with photos of different types of cold treats.
You take your bag and phone, dialing Charlie’s number while speedwalking across the grassy field. It takes two rings before you hear his voice.
“Yes, partner in crime?” His voice comes off as staticky for a moment.
“What the hell are you doin’, your mic is scuffed as hell…”
“I’m walking!” You could imagine the eyeroll Charlie would do and bite your cheek to not laugh.
“Are you with Nick?” You continue to talk but smile in greeting when the ice cream seller stops at you coming over. He says hello and you wave before looking over all the choices on the cart.
“Yes. We’re grabbing drinks right now, you okay?”
“Yeah! I’m at the park, set up the picnic – though the food is still in the basket,” You glance back at your spot and after making sure nothing seems out of the ordinary you look back at the cart. “You remember those ice cream cart things? You want something?”
It’s silent between the two of you as Charlie ponders, in the meantime you point to your desired choice and the guy nods with a smile, opening the ice cream cart before digging around in the pile of cold desserts until he finds the one you want.
“Do they-“ He cuts himself off with a chuckle and you perk up at his voice, “Do they um,” He snorts this time then sighs to calm himself, “The ones with the bubblegum eyes. I wanna try one.”
You laugh a little, thanking the ice cream man as he sets the packaged treat in your hand. “Do you want the sonic one or something?”
“Whatever you spot first or whichever is given. Oh wait- Nick-“ You zone out a bit as he speaks to the blond and point to the blue hedgehog. The ice cream man continues his search. “He said he wants the crybaby ice cream.”
“Oh god.” You sigh in adoration, tilting your head back to the clear blue sky. “Weren’t they, like, terrible the last time we tried them?”
This time you hear Nick’s cheerful voice and he scoffs, “Okay, no. That was because for some weird reason you and Darcy wanted to put warheads into the mix.”
“Thank you,” You say to the nice man, grabbing a ten and a five dollar bill as a tip out of your wallet with a smile. You then put all the treats into your bag along with the wallet, waving the man bye which he returns and goes on his merry way. Your focus goes back to the two boys. “Ah yes, I remember the part where your face went sooo red. Hilarious, I have videos I think.”
He groans in prospect and you hear muffled giggles erupt from Charlie. “Why do you do this to me?”
“What are you talking about?” You tease and he groans again.
Charlie then speaks up, sounding way closer to the phone. “Alright! We’ll see you in two-point-five seconds.” You hum in response and say your goodbyes before hanging up the phone.
You reach the blanket again, flopping on your tush and take the ice creams out, aligning them with precision on top of the picnic basket. Charlie doesn’t disappoint because not two minutes later you see two familiar figures walking down the park path, one of them pointing towards your general direction and ditching the path to the grass.
You could feel your heart pound from… nervousness or excitement? Maybe both and it makes you grin, waving at the two. They get closer and Charlie waves awkwardly with a hand that has a drink in it, to which you notice his other hand also had a drink… and one of Nick’s. The blond’s other hand is carrying headbands of some sort and a bag is hanging off his arm.
“Char told me to get these while we were in the grocery store.” Nick speaks first when they get to you, he lifts the hand with headbands. “I decided not to question it.” You raise your hands and he carefully sets the accessories in them. Ah. Barbie headbands.
“Charlie…” Your brows pinch in amusement but also bewilderment. “What have you decided?”
He chuckles mysteriously, lifting a foot off the ground to point at your hand. “Put those down and take your drink, please. My hands are freezing.”
“Oops.” You comply and take the cup. The two eventual settle down with Nick in the middle and you quietly take a nice sip of the beverages. “Thank you.”
The boys nod and you glance at Nick, noticing the shadows of bags under his eyes. It makes you frown for a second, “So, what am I doing here on this lovely day.” Before you could inquire, Nick speaks up first, eyes shutting in contentment and a pretty smile adoring his face.
You lean back on the palm of your hand, eyeing Charlie and he meets your gaze. “Can we not want to hang out with the one and only, Mr. Nick Nelson?” You speak with a teasing tone, leaning into his side. His smile goes wider and he opens his eyes to meet yours.
“You make me sound like some big shot.”
Your eyes narrow.
“Well it was hard to reach you… so…” His gaze falters along with his smile, nervously tapping the top of his cup. “Not to pressure you, you know that but Charlie and I will always be there to listen if you need it.” You poke his arm gently and you spot Charlie’s hand sliding into Nick’s.
“Yeah.” Charlie nods, squeezing their hands, “But if not, that’s fine too. Y/N and I wanted to just, relax with you. Spend some time together.”
That makes Nick let out a shaky laugh and a wobbly smile. “Thanks.” He pauses. “Really. It’s just been, crazy?” He nibbles at his bottom lip before sighing and flops on his back, leaving his cup between his crossed legs and dragging the two of you down with him – which makes you all share a laugh.
Charlie rests against his boyfriend’s chest – facing his direction and you flip onto your stomach to play with both of their soft locks. “What has?” You ask softly.
He’s silent for a bit, tapping his fingers on your back with his free hand. “I’m not sure, school? Life? …Me? There’s no exact reason, everything just seems to be crashing down in my brain and it’s annoying to say the least.” He sighs heavily, “I’m probably just having that kind of month where everything is just feels like alot.” He frowns and you move the hand in his hair down under his chin, gently squeezing his cheeks and he chuckles.
“That’s perfectly fine, it happens.” You move the hand to trail up the left side of his face and place your palm over his forehead like you’re checking his temperature and it makes Charlie join in, prodding at Nick’s neck gently.
“There’s a lot going through your life right now, perfectly understandable why it feels overwhelming and such. Thank you for talking to us about it.” Charlie speaks softly.
“Of course. I don’t,” Nick pauses, opening his eyes with a flash of worry, “I don’t want it to feel like I’m shutting you both out or anything, or if it feels like you’ve done something wrong. I feel less weird thinking I’m overreacting, haha…” The laugh comes off flat but from the reassuring smiles from his lovers, he feels at ease.
“You’re not.”
“Nuh-uh.” You and Charlie speak simultaneously, denying such thoughts. It makes Nick laugh which sounds less forceful.
“I don’t think I’ll be able to talk about everything right now since I don’t even think I’m done… accessing everything but really, thank you. You both are my anchors.” If you didn’t tear up from that, your heart definitely did. Charlie gets up off Nick, letting go of the blond’s hand and tilts his head back with his hands over his face.
“Same, Charlie.” You cover your own face and lay flat against the blanket.
“I…” Nick trails off with another laugh and he sits back up which catches both of your attention. “Can we eat though, I’m getting a little hungry.” He gives a shy smile and you also sit up.
“Oh shit, what if the ice cream melted?!” This realization has the three of you shooting towards the basket, grabbing the packaged delights and simultaneously sigh in relief. They’re not melted… yet.
“Should we just eat these first and then eat the actual lunch next?” Charlie bites back a laugh, already opening up the plastic and pulling out the bubblegum eye Sonic, wasting no time to put it in his mouth with wide adorning eyes.
You and Nick watch him in amusement before opening your own. “I wanted this lime popsicle they usually sell but there were none.” You sigh before eyeing Nick’s container of airhead ice cream. He opens the top and it reveals the swirls of… red? Or pink and green.
“That’s funny, we saw those while we were at the store. There were these coconut flavors too.” Nick reminisces, plucking the taped but wrapped in it’s own plastic wooden spoon off the side of the ice cream container.
Charlie hums before looking down at the bitten into Sonic, “Why does Sonic have green eyes? Are they actually green?”
You all stay silent.
“I thought they were black or brown?” You speak in confusion.
“Right? Even blue….” Charlie tilts his head.
“Technically all of those are correct though they turn red as well… It’s the different franchises, I guess?” Nick furrows his brows in thought, scooping into his sour treat after freeing the wooden stick and eats away, wincing here and there. You watch with amusement.
The lunch date you can say with absolute certainty was very successful. You all catch up on things that have been going on and different shows you’ve been watching. Sharing ice cream, stuffing yourselves full with your Mom’s cooking – there was even a drink war? All you knew was one minute you were nearly done with your beverage and the next it’s being tossed in Nick’s direction as you try and run away from Charlie’s retort from you getting him seconds before. Ah, can’t forget the classic kisses shared under one of the many trees at the park and the newest photos stored in your ‘Nick & Char ❤️’ album, like the picture of Charlie ‘painting’ Nick’s face with whip cream. Where the fuck did you get whip cream from? Ask your mother.
Around the time you were all packing up, a teenager around your age ran up with their four other friends and inform you there is a nice walking trail – pointing towards the area where the park path splits, one continuing into a circle around the whole field and the other going into an area with rows of trees.
“Y’think we’ll get jumpscared? Like a haunted path or something.” You joked.
“They said there’s a nice stream down the path.” Nick smirks at your joking, placing a hand on your head and you puff out your cheeks, feeling them heat up a bit.
“Ah yes, you can take a nice swim in it when I push you in there, Y/N.” Charlie hums, quick to dart his eyes away when you flip your head in his direction.
“You’re so evil to me?” You watch him with wild eyes, mouth agape and he laughs.
“Do you think we’ll actually able to get in?” Nick ponders and you flip the wild gaze to him now.
“With us three, I’m sure we can pull it off.” Charlie responds with a menacing grin, mischief all up in his eyes and you’re playing ping pong with your eyes, flitting back and forth between them.
“I’m gonna be arrested today, huh…” Your boyfriend and bestfriend just giggle like evil people.
In the end, you three didn’t get in the stream’s water but there were some fishes so you decided to feel them the crust that Charlie didn’t eat from his sandwich and take some more photos. Nick had picked Charlie up bridal-style, getting dangerously close to the water and you record it all.
“Don’t drop me!” Charlie tightens his hold around Nick, fear and excitement in his tone.
“This takes me back to the beach…” Nick ignores his boyfriend’s pleas and spins around carefully.
“Do not reminisce while I’m in your arms, please and thank you?!” He exclaims and it makes you full on laugh, an arm over your stomach while watching the whole exchange happen.
It’s not long before it turns from afternoon to evening, you three return back from the area with Nick and Charlie debating on if they saw a deer or not. Charlie saying it was definitely there and Nick saying it wasn’t there.
“Carl Grimes flashbacks…” You hum and Charlie puts you in a headlock.
“Do not. I will cry right here.” He pouts and pulls at your cheeks, ignoring your protests. Nick watches with a soft gleam in his eyes, rocking the picnic basket back and forth with a hand.
You all walk down the sidewalk side by side once Charlie lets you go, talking about random things before Nick realizes the direction you’re going.
“Are we dropping Y/N off?” He frowns.
It catches you and Charlie off guard. “What? What makes you think that?” You raise an eyebrow. Nick points ahead and your house in slowly coming up in view. Ah.
“Ah.” Charlie speaks your thought and you both share a laugh. “No, we’re not dropping her off.” Charlie stretches his arms with a grunt before eyeing the bag strapped around Nick. “You brought pajamas and clothes for tomorrow, right?”
Nick nods, pursing his lips. “Still confused about that.”
You scoff in amusement and place a hand on your forehead with an endearing smile. “Nick…”
“Don’t worry, you’ll understand soon.” Charlie gives him a thumbs up, paired with a wink before darting ahead of the two of you. Nick flicks his gaze to you in question but you put on an act and shrug.
“What he said,” You pause for a moment, eyes burning into Nick’s, “Do you like stargazing?”
He moves closer to you, closing the gap and tugs your hand in his. The question makes him look up at the sky for a moment. “Mmm. Never tried it before? What counts as stargazing? I’ve… been in the car on trips and looked out the window…?” You give him a perplexed look which he returns.
“Alright, well-“ You chuckle, “That can… technically count? I guess? Just… Yeah.” You give up midway, tugging Nick along when you get closer to the front of your house where Charlie awaits. “You’re on your phone while you’re on a date? Tsk tsk.” You tut your lips in disapproval and Charlie startles.
He rolls his eyes, flipping his phone to the two of you bounding up the steps. “I was texting Saha- oops, hold on-“ He cuts himself off, flipping the phone back around with a nervous smile.
You glance at Nick before moving your hand to cover his eyes with your other hand. He gasps in surprise but doesn’t question it any further, grinning a bit. Facing back to Charlie you mouth the word, ‘Barbie?’ and tilt your head in confusion. He nods.
“You’re silly.” You remove your hand from Nick’s face and flatten your hand, tapping Charlie’s forehead in a chopping motion. He rubs the area with a laugh and you knock on your front door.
“Did you forget your keys?” Nick giggles when you give him a look of shame.
“Maybe.”
Your Mom is quick to open the door, grinning widely. “Welcome back. Hello, Charlie and Nick.” They wave in shyness and she scoots back to let the three of you in. “What’s the plan next, soldier?” She bumps the door closed with her hip and loosely crosses her arms, raising an eyebrow at you specifically.
“Gonna go in the back for about an hour…” You trail off, taking your shoes off in the most complicated way. With your feet, or the heels per-say. When you finish you take the basket from Nick and walk to the kitchen with your mom as the boys finish taking off their own shoes. “To stargaze.” You finally finish when Nick’s ears are out of reach.
She pats you on the back with approval, “Attagirl. How was lunch?”
“It was fun! We spoke a bit, ate and went down a trail.” You bounce your head to the side while listening the activities before pausing. “He seems more… energized?” Your lips purse.
“Was that a question?” She leans against the counter, one arm coming out of the self-hug and she combs her hand through your hair. You give her an awkward look and she breathes out a laugh. Tapping the crown of your forehead, she moves away to the fridge with a soft smile. “Well, if he seems to be uplifted,” She eyes you before taking out three water bottles. “That’s great news, no?” Then sets them infront of you on counter.
“You’re right but… I don’t know. I just feel like I can do more,” You huff. “But that’s dumb because of course I can’t, this has to be something Nick figures out and all I can do is support him.”
“Honey, that is doing more for him. Supporting him is the biggest help you can five someone, along with what you’re already doing. Taking him out, letting him have space to clear his mind and being a safe net. Same thing with Charlie, no?“ Her hands latch onto your shoulders and give the muscles a gentle squeeze. “I know it feels like you want to do so much more but, there’s only so much.” You tilt your head back and look up at her with a half-smile before relenting.
“You’re right.”
“A mother is always right.” She lets go and moves towards the stove, giving you a smug side eye… which you return with an unamused eyeroll.
“Yes, yes. My mother is always right. Sometimes.”
“About ninety-nine percent.”
“Ninety-five…” You lift an eyebrow and give her pointed look. She has a spoon in her hand when she looks over you and points it to her chin in thought, it’s just a bit though.
“Ninety-seven. Take it or leave it.”
You scoff in amusement before scooping up the bottles, “Whatever you say, ma’am. We’ll be outside.” She hums in understanding and you exit out the kitchen, walking into the dining room before reaching the living room where the duo waits.
“Pleasure for you to join us.” Charlie smirks and takes two of the bottles from your arms with a nod of thanks.
“Be welcomed.” Nick muses with a grin and cracks open the bottle, taking a quick refreshing sip.
“What is this speech? I hate it.” Your face scrunches up in disgust before gesturing to the sliding glass door. “Shall we?”
“Look who’s doing it now…” Charlie stares at you cheekily. You give him the finger, he returns it.
There are slides in a shoe rack near the door and you three take a pair before stepping out. Nick’s eyes widen in wonder. Your backyard has a big blanket – similar to the one from the picnic – sitting in the middle of the area that has a plot of grass and lanterns that hang off metal rods sit nicely around in the grass that have curves at the end, doing nicely as handles. What surprises you are the little bugs that fly and flicker with a yellow-green gleam in the air.
“Since when do we get fireflies?” You speak first.
“Since forever, Y/N.” Charlie poked your back and you jump, flipping around to get him back but he’s already slipped behind Nick.
“You little…”
“Ah, ah ah, you have to be nice to me.”
“Says who?” He’s being ridiculous.
“Says me. Your bestfriend.” He peaks around Nick’s side – who, mind you, is still focusing on the backyard’s look – with a teasing grin.
“I’mma beat you up.”
“No!” He lets out a laugh when you lunge towards him, twirling out of your reach and running around with you flailing behind.
It felt special to Nick. The orange-red sky turning into it’s pitch dark blue color, stars twinkling down on you three with a full moon bright. His eyes are stuck on his two partners, the fireflies swirling around them out of disturbance but still they still decorate the backyard with green-yellow hues, not ready to leave. He remembers this conversation you had in this backyard a year ago…
“Do you think fireflies come around this area?” You were sitting on a bean bag, legs tucked beneath yourself and were practically sunken into the ‘seat.’ Charlie had insisted you to put it on the concrete side of the backyard so you did and now your face is hidden behind Nick’s switch in your hands.
Speaking of who, Nick is currently soaked wet, wringing out the ends of his shirt and Charlie wraps himself up in a towel. It’s late night, pitch dark but they wanted to play with water balloons and your Mom happened to be out of the house to pick up dinner.
“Maybe…” He leans back to look at the sky. “Why? Do you like fireflies or something?” He looks back down at you. The question has you silent for a couple of beats before you set down the console. He watches you with an amused twinkle in his gaze, puffing out his chest in pride at seeing you in his sweater. Charlie had been wearing it earlier and you both traded before they brought out the balloons.
“I mean, I have never seen any so, maybe, maybe not.” You shrug, unfolding your legs and stretching them out with a groan. Your socked feet slap down against the concrete and you sit up a bit. “Don’t you think they’re kinda special though? My Mom said it’s like they’re glowing up your night, dancing around you and stuff.” You eye the floor. “Appearing on specials occasions like they know,” You lean back into the seat with a sigh, “Said that’s how she got married. Isn’t that crazy?”
Charlie purses his lips, tilting his head to the side before smiling, “Sounds magical. They’re the ‘true love’ bugs.” His smile widens into a grin.
“Exactly!” You snap your fingers with a nod, bumping your heel against the stone pavement.
“I’m sure they do appear out here though, don’t they come out at Midnight?” Charlie shivers while speaking, hugging the towel around himself tighter. You sympathize with a playful grin.
“Maybe. But well, you boys should get inside and warm up. We’ll try next time.”
“Nick! Are you gonna come and lay down?” He snaps out of his head, eyes darting to you and Charlie lying on the blanket though Charlie is trying to tap out from a leg lock you have him in.
He snorts in surprise, not missing a beat and closing the distance. “How the hell did this happen?”
“Nick! Help me~” Charlie wails before pinching your thigh, making you yelp and quickly let go.
“That is cheating!” You exclaim, rubbing your leg with a wince.
“All’s fair in war.” He snickers, reaching a hand out to Nick who takes it and sits down between you two.
It’s a nice silence between the three of you, you’re not sure who laid down first but you eventually followed. Nick has his arms wrapped around the two of you and you’ve glanced up at his face which shows contentment. You even met his gaze while peeking and it caught you off guard with how much his brown orbs were filled with much love and affection.
You reach a hand out towards Charlie and tussle at curls, making him whine in protest but lets you continue anyway. “I’m not good with constellations so you’re not gonna be getting that during this stargaze adventure.” You mumble against Nick with a laugh and it makes the other two chuckle.
“Nah, that’s alright… I’m happy with this…” You and Charlie freeze at how soft Nick’s voice sounds. Serene. Content. More than happy but not quite ecstatic. Filled with much love directed towards the two of you and it has your heart pounding.
You sit up on your elbow, making Nick’s arm slip off of you and he eyes you with suspicion. “Actually…” This would be way more comfortable on your knees so you sit up, tuck your calves beneath you and cuff Charlie’s face into your hands. It’s nearly laugh worthy of how quick his face turns a deep red and how you felt it happen under your touch.
You lean forward, careful not to face-plant into him – that would be awkward… and painful – pressing your lips against him. You both move into a soft but passionate rhythm. Your thumb brushes against his dusted cheeks, pressing hard against his lips one final time before moving back with a dazed grin.
He returns it, chuckling shyly before meeting Charlie’s intense gaze. You choke back a laugh with the swiftness of your friend sliding up a bit, hand softly cupping the side of Nick’s face and sharing their own kiss. Also very slow, and passionate. Your tilt your head up towards your house, eyeing the sliding door and sigh in relief to not see your Mom near it. By the time your gaze returns you’re meeting with the two boys staring at you with flushed faces.
“Oh my god, you’re so red.” You laugh.
“Shut up?” Charlie hands an arm over his face, probably burning up a bit more from the teasing.
The fireflies have died down, some still hanging around but you notice most are gone and a smile tugs at your lips. “Wanna go inside now?”
Charlie removes his arm with a sharp inhale and the two nod. “Do you need to bring the blanket in?” He points to the cloth when you all stand and you’re quick to shake your head.
“Nah. I’ll grab and wash it tomorrow,” You stretch your limbs, hearing some pop. “I need new bones…”
Nick sticks his tongue out in playful disgust, “That sounds horrific.”
“Wouldn’t that be crazy though? If we needed to trade in new bones when we’re old and seniors.”
“Y/N.” Charlie’s eyebrows bend and he grimaces, “Why do you come up with the most freaky scenarios.” It’s not a question.
“Yeah, like the apocalypse one from before.” Nick pitches in with a frown that falters into a smile.
You all step into the living room after you’re done turning off the lanterns and have grabbed your bottles, “Because my brain is so amazing that I just think of things you would never think of.” You make a gesture to your brain before wiggling your fingers like you’ve done a magic trick.
“Or so you say…” Charlie glances somewhere else before meeting your eyes, “Less would never think of more, shouldn’t think of.” He flicks his hand towards you, thumb and index finger out in a finger gun.
“Hey, these could be real life events soon to happen.”
“Yeah the bones theory would happen when we all become immortal.” He chuckles and you roll your eyes.
Then boom, jumpscare. Your Mom appears just as you’re settling on the couch. A screech leaves all of your mouths and she stares in shock with mild confusion and amusement.
“Hello to you three, too.” She giggles, walking over to the glass door, tugging the lock between the handle down and pulls the thick curtains down. “Enjoy stargazing?” She turns back around with a soft smile.
You three shift your gazes away. Apparently it wasn’t just you that still had the intimate moment in the back of your brain, huh? “Yeah, thanks Mom.”
If she noticed the slight awkwardness building up, she doesn’t mention it nor show it and instead clasps her hands together, “That’s wonderful! Dinner is finished so feel free to grab whatever you want. I’ll be upstairs if you need me.” She fills you in on her own plan for the night which is pretty much staying in her room so you all have your own time. She then tilts her head, eyes spacing out until she perks up, “And then there’s brownies that are baking, should be finished soon. I set a timer so when you hear it please take it our for me, Y/N.”
You nod before frowning, “Why does it have to be me?” Apparently she didn’t understand from the confusion crossing her face. You then point to Charlie and Nick.
Charlie looks offended, “We are a guest?” but his tone is light.
“You practically live here? Your clothes are in my closet, mind you.” Nick and your Mom choke out a laugh while Charlie flares up, flustered.
“Nick’s are too?!”
“Which is why I included him in my pointing?!”
Two people are bickering, two people laughing at the scene. It doesn’t take long for you Mom to calm you both down, “It doesn’t matter who, it doesn’t matter if it’s all three of you. Please just don’t let them burn.” She chuckles a bit more before rubbing her hand against her collarbone to calm herself, “Have a great time. I’ll be in my room.” You all wave her ‘goodnight’ and she retreats upstairs.
You three share a silence. Then Nick speaks,
“…So what exactly are we doing? It seems you both are full of surprises today,” He wears a teasing look which makes you and Charlie look away.
“Don’t worry about it, mister. You enjoy the ride.” You talk first before nudging Charlie with your leg. “You put the movie on, I’ll go make our plates and...” You eye Nick for a moment not knowing what he should do.
“Nick, I put the backpack in Y/N’s room, could you go get it while we set up? Oh! The headbands too.” Charlie pitches in and grins at the mention of the headbands. You and Nick blink at him before standing up to dart down your own paths.
While you’re making the plates the oven timer does go off. You take a toothpick from one of the drawers, flick on the oven light, open the oven – making you flinch back from the heat – then poke the dark chocolate fudge goodness. It has baked all the way so you grab oven mitts and drag the pan of brownies out of it’s cooker, sets it on the stove and flick turn the oven off.
After making sure everything was set in the kitchen you grab two plates and exit the kitchen, back into the living room where the movie is paused on the TV right before it begins. Charlie stands up and helps grab the two plates, letting you dart back into the kitchen again for the last one just in time for Nick to return.
“Do you want drinks? We got juices, sodas, water, you name it.” You peak your head out behind the dining room wall and the two boys pause midway in putting on the barbie headbands. You bite your lip to hold back a laugh.
“Do you have that tropical mix?” Nick speaks and you nod, he points at you in affirmation of the drink then finishes adjusting the plastic accessory around his hair.
“Root beer, please.” Charlie speaks next before his eyes shine open and wide, “Do you think we can have floats…”
Your eyebrows perk up, “I think we have vanilla? But you’re not getting that till the brownies cool down.”
“Oh, they’re out? Thank Barbie.” He holds his hands up in a prayer.
You stare at him, very much unamused and he gives you a cheeky grin.
“I’ll have tropical juice for now then.”
With a thumbs up you return to the kitchen once more, grabbing three tall glass cups from the cabinet and grab the carton juice out the fridge. You fill up two cups before staring at your own. After deciding your choice of drink, you put everything away and startle while turning around and seeing Nick in the doorway.
“Sorry,” He smiles apologetically, walking up to you and grabbing the cups filled with juice that is his and Charlie’s. He catches you off guard once again, planting a soft kiss on your cheek before bounding off to the living room again.
“What the fuck.” You stand in oblivion, feeling your face heat up. You decide you won’t unpack that tonight, flicking off the kitchen light and rejoining your movie mates.
Nick and Charlie had switched spots to where the blond was in the middle like he had been all day and your boyfriend pats the free spot next to him. You comply, setting your cup on the table while sitting and you lean into Nick with a soft smile.
“You forgot this, kind ma’am.” Charlie grabs the plastic pink band and you lean forward. He puts it on carefully and leans back with a self-satisfied expression, grabbing the remote with a quite cheer. “Are we ready for the best movie night ever?”
You and Nick watch him with amusement, “Yes, Charles, we are.”
“Not Charles, I will fight you.” He shivers at the name.
“You call me Nicholas?” Nick speaks. It makes you laugh.
“It’s your real name.” He grins.
“Is Charles not your real name, Char?” You lift an eyebrow and he rolls his eyes, still wearing the grin.
“No, it is ‘Charlie “Char” Spring’.”
You let out an insufferable sigh.
“Y’know, Y/N has called me ‘Luke’ before.” Nick leans his head back with a scoff. This makes you have a full on belly laugh which makes Charlie react the same way. “Yes, yes laugh it away.” He sighs like he’s in pain.
It takes five minutes to calm down. You wipe a precious tear away, “It was on call too and he hung up. Would not answer for like, an hour.” You inhale deeply at the memory before laughing again.
“Should we start calling him Luke as a nickname?”
“Please, please don’t.” Nick squeezes the arm wrapped around Charlie’s waist with a pleading look.
“Awwe you can’t do that.” He pouts, reaching up to pinch Nick’s face.
“Dho wha?” He sounds funny with Charlie tugging at his face.
“The puppy eyed look. The doe eyes.” You bat your eyelashes at Nick when he eyes you from the corner of his eyes before rolling them.
“We’ve gone all dahy withosut this, nowh yuu wanna shtart?” Now he’s the one doing the insufferable sighing.
“It’s a daily mission.” Charlie nods, a serious expression crossing his looks – putting on an act. He then lets go and grabs the remote again, “Movie time!”
“Movie time!” You cheer afterwards.
You three are silent for a bit as the movie plays, you and Charlie cuddling into Nick. He plants soft kisses down your face and you flush a bit. Then he moves to Charlie, repeating the action, who giggles quietly and eyes Nick with a shy look. It makes you laugh under your breath and Charlie doesn’t miss it, pointing to you with a brow raised and expression saying, ‘Don’t laugh at me when you’re acting the same.’ You look away.
“Hey,” Nick suddenly speaks up and the two of you look over. “Thanks for today. It really helped calm me down…” He continues to train his eyes on the TV but his ears burn from you and Charlie giving him your undivided attention. “And reassured me about a few things…” He purses his lips.
“Reassured?” Charlie asks quietly, as if afraid to make Nick snap his mouth shut and not speak again.
Nick sucks in a breath and you shiver from his fingers crawling up your arm. You watch Charlie lift his own hand and hold the arm wrapped around him.
“Yeah. Since everything felt like it was crashing down, I don’t know. It kinda made me feel… negative? About certain stuff. Between us. Not that I’m not happy, I’m more than thankful to be with you two but just like, how you both felt towards me…” His pursed lips flatten and your brows bend at the way his eyes dim.
“Breaking up with me for example because maybe you felt neglected or such. It made me so scared to think about I stopped responding to both of your messages most of the time and barely wanted to call because you know, what if one day you just went, ‘Yeah I don’t think we should be together,’ such and such.” You both stay quiet to let him speak his mind and you hate that he ever thought such things.
When Nick stays silent you take a sharp inhale, meeting eyes with Charlie’s glossed ones. The sight breaks your heart. “Nick…” You start off carefully and he looks over to you with so much exhaust. Slowly, you cuff his face – the same way you did outside – brushing your thumbs against him cheeks. Your right hand moves down, playfully you press your thumb against his bottom lip and smile gently.
“I’m sorry that you ever felt that way. It’s far from the truth, sweetheart.” He lets out an airy chuckle and you watch with adoration. “Y’know brains come up with the craziest scenarios when you’re stressed and it’s annoying, and stupid.” You huff, left hand moving against his cheek and he leans into the touch. Your thumb and index finger latch onto his ear and you pinch it lightly. “Do you know that, that would never happen unless you came to me asking for such a thing?” You pucker out your lips.
He watches you in a daze before laughing. “Do you know that would never happen?” Then he turns to Charlie with a soft look. “And you, Char?”
Charlie rubs at his reddening eyes and inhales. He then nods, opening his mouth before faltering. You both give him and moment and he closes his eyes in frustration before heaving out a sigh. Concern is evident in both of your expressions but Charlie opens his eyes with a new look of determination, straight at Nick.
He smacks his hands against Nick’s shoulders which makes the latter’s mouth hang open in surprise. “Nick. I love you. A lot. It hurts to know that you were dealing with these emotions, but know I’m not blaming you. How could I? It’s not your fault. Never feel bad for needing to take your time to sort out your own feelings and what’s going on with yourself. We’d never blame you for that because in the end, you know we have you, right?”
Nick nods and you can see his own eyes get glossy as well. Charlie then looks at you, “I love you too, Y/N, don’t tell Tao but you’re my bestfriend.” He chuckles, wiping at his eye again and you wipe at your owns.
“Hey, he can be your guy bestfriend and we wouldn’t have to fight over titles.” You wink, before leaning to Nick and kissing him softly. “I love you both, very much so. I’m glad you were able to talk to us, Nick.”
“Was that your goal today?” He grins in a joking manner, tilting his head in the crook of Charlie’s neck while entangling his fingers with yours.
“Did it work?” Charlie sniffles a bit before laughing. You laugh as well, “This is ridiculous we’re supposed to be watching Barbie and now we’re sobbing.”
“I give up.” You throw your head back, side eyeing the TV.
“Nooo, don’t give up.” Nicks chuckles before sitting upright. “We can still watch… we should probably eat too.” He points to the lonely plates on the table.
“True.” You and Charlie agree. You three take a moment to collect yourselves with a few embarrassed laughs here and there before settling back down.
“What’s in the bag, by the way?” You gesture to the backpack under the coffee table as Charlie rewinds the movie back to the beginning. He glances down.
“Snacks.”
“It’s good.” You hum in approval, taking a bite of your food. The three of you enjoy the movie and dinner, later on making those root beer floats paired with the brownies. Charlie had explained to Nick that he was texting Sahar about the Barbie Movie and she told him she went with Imogen. Apparently, Imogen gives the movie a 2/10 because she messed up her outfit at the theaters.
“That’s terrible.” Nick stares at Charlie in shock but it doesn’t last long with the way his lips curve into a smirk, “That’s not her real rating though, is it?”
“Of course not, she loved it.” Charlie laughs.
You’ve been quiet this whole time but suddenly loll your head to face them. Nick already giving you an exasperated look when you got their attention. “Nick. Your new name in my phone is Ken Nelson.”

[part 1] [part 2] (ur here lolol)
Tumblr media
Apparently, the sparring match had been the easy part. Convincing Hobie to actually drift with you was the hard part.
Jess had approved you and Hobie to begin drifting, but he had shut it down immediately.
“No. Absolutely not. And ‘m not goin’ back ‘n forth with ya.” Was all he said before shutting himself in his room. You sat in front of his door and complained about him acting like a stubborn child.
“C’mon! Jess said that we stood a chance!”
“That means nothin’ to me,'' came the muffled reply. You sighed and leaned your head on the metal frame of the door.
“You’re not even a little curious about what goes on in my head?” You paused then grinned. “You don’t wanna know what makes me tick?”
“Coulda sworn I said I wasn’t goin’ back ‘n forth with ya.”
You kissed your teeth and rested your head on your knees. “Fine, fine. I’ll just sit here then!” you shouted then muttered, “All night. In the cold…” You allowed yourself to trail off as your dramatics continued to climb. “I’ll just be wonderin’ why my potential drift partner hates me—”
A loud click sounded behind you and the door creaked open. Hobie peered down at you with an unamused expression. “I never said I hated ya.”
“But you did say you weren’t gonna go back ‘n forth with me.” Hobie’s scoff had you climbing to your feet. You continued, “Won’t you at least give it a chance? We won’t even be going out into the field— just inside Hellion.”
“And you’ll be in my head,” he snapped, then caught himself with a grimace. “Why do ya feel the need to push it, hm? Can’t take no for an answer or somethin’?”
“No. I can’t.” You couldn’t stop your face from contorting into a scowl as you snarked, “Why are you even here if you don’t plan on drifting with anyone?”
“I already told ya—”
“Well, I don’t believe you.”
Hobie threw his hands up, signaling that he had nothing else to say, and stepped back behind his door. “Goodnight.”
Before he could completely shut the door, you pushed your hand against it. Your mind had been struggling to find an answer to why you didn’t completely believe Hobie. His reasoning didn’t fit his character. If he was truly done being a pilot, he would’ve just left. If he was concerned about his friends risking their lives, he would find a way to convince them to leave with him.
No, this was much much more personal than that. And he had already told you his reasoning: to make sure no one else pilots Hellion Riser.
“You don’t want anyone to replace Karl.”
That stopped Hobie completely in his tracks. He stared at you as if the words slapped him in the face. You had a horrible habit of pushing people’s buttons; sometimes you did it on purpose, while other times you couldn’t stop your mouth from moving.
“I’m not trying to replace him, Hobie, I swear it. I could never erase what you guys had— what you two did. Hell, y'all set records. I just—”
Hobie put his hand up to stop you. “I’d rather not have this chat outside.” His door creaked as he motioned you inside.
When the door closed behind you, you were met with the sight of Hobie’s covered walls. There were some posters of well known rock bands from before the war and newspaper clippings of different kaiju attacks. You wondered if they had some significance to him. Though, what had caught your eye was a sticker-covered guitar leaned up against Hobie’s nightstand.
“So, d’ya have a habit of bein’ an arse or is that jus’ wit’ me?” Hobie sat himself on his bed and crossed his arms. You stared down at him with a raised eyebrow.
“An arse? Me? Never.” You trailed your eyes along the newspaper clippings until one caught your eye. “I’m just… stubborn.” You tried to keep a steady tone but your mind had already traveled somewhere far away.
In your peripheral, you could see Hobie shift to see what you were looking at. “You have a personal history with Steelcutter, mate?”
You blinked yourself back into the present and stepped away from the wall, needing to physically distance yourself from the image. As you observed the clippings, their purpose suddenly made sense.
“These are all kaijus that Hellion has taken down.” It was a statement, no question about it.
“Yep. Majority of ‘em are from the old pilots.” He tilted his head. “You dodgin’ my question?”
“Yep,” you mocked, looking him up and down. You opened your mouth to continue, but it suddenly struck you that you were in fact alone in Hobie’s room. And he was staring at you with those champagne eyes of his and—
No, no, no. You weren’t going to entertain that anymore. You had one goal and he was actively stopping you from reaching it. Past infatuation had no place here. It hadn’t had one in a long time and it wouldn’t get one now.
Ignoring the heat burning at your cheeks, you cleared your throat. “So about the drift—”
“You were right, y’know.”
You felt your words die on your lips. “I… what?”
“I don’t want anyone to replace Karl. They couldn’t if they tried. But that’s only part of it.”
You blinked owlishly. You hadn’t expected him to be so outright with it.
He continued, “I don’t want to watch anyone else I care about die.”
“We don’t even know each other like that—”
“Yet.” He stood up. “That’s the part ya keep overlookin’. I’ll be finding out everything about you. I’ll be in your head and you’ll be in mine. Ya won’t get out of that without at least carin’ a little. That’s the whole point of a drift partner. Ya pilot the jaeger together, ya fight together, and ya expect to die together. I won’t get outta carin’ for ya and ya won’t get outta carin’ for me. Get it?”
Hobie’s words were passionate, borderline desperate for you to understand. And you were beginning to understand. You chewed on his words for a moment, letting the air settle. “But you enjoyed having that partner, didn’t you? You enjoyed fighting alongside him and allowing someone to be that intertwined with you, right? Doesn’t that mean anything?”
“It’s not tha’ simple.”
“Of course not. But every relationship comes with the risk of an ending. Avoiding companionship altogether will make you miserable, especially when you’re itching to go back into the field.”
An indignant laugh left Hobie’s lips. “And who told ya I wanted to go back?”
“You still train— which is how you beat me during the trials; and you don’t seem like someone who lets people die in vain. Don’t you wanna show those fuckin’ kaijus where they can stick it? Don’t you want revenge for Karl?”
There had always been a muted fire behind Hobie’s eyes. The embers of the flames would dance around his irises, refusing to turn into ash. Though, under his appraisal, you could see the blazing inferno that you had sparked.
It made you think that your insistence had pushed Hobie too far over the edge. Maybe your luck had run out.
To your surprise, Hobie backed down and released a heavy sigh as he plopped onto his bed. He dragged a hand down his face before asking, “D’ya have any confessions?”
You frowned. “Confessions?”
“Confessions, mate. Anything you’d like to tell me before I find out against your will?”
Your heart stopped in your chest. Disbelief rose in you like a climbing rollercoaster. “...you don’t mean…”
He gave you a look that told you everything you needed to know. He raised a finger. “We’ll try it once and only once. Let’s see if Jess knows wha’ she’s talkin’ about.”
The news about you drifting with Hobie spread like a wildfire. It morphed into a bigger event than you had anticipated. There were whispers about Hellion Riser finally becoming active again, while the in-your-face doubters approached you around every corner. The doubters were either shut down by some not-so-kind words or, to your complete and utter surprise, Hobie flat out telling them to shut the fuck up before there was a problem.
His reluctance to completely accept you as his partner was still present, but he didn’t seem too fond of other people sharing that same sentiment.
The day came when Hellion was ready for you two to test your compatibility. The nerves shook you to your core; even your steadying breaths couldn’t calm your racing heart.
There were people around you helping make sure your suit fit your frame properly. Beside you, Hobie was receiving the same treatment. You watched as he opened and closed his fist with some sort of fascination.
His eyes suddenly flicked toward you and he gave you a small grin. “You look like you’re gonna throw up.”
Your grin was strained. “I just might.”
Before you could say another word, a helmet was being placed in your hands. You put it on while the people around you adjusted it for you.
Then, you were led into the jaeger where the workers left you and Hobie to get situated. Hobie was quieter than usual as he made his way to the right side.
“Are you nervous?” you asked. You hated how meek you sounded
“Nervous?” The laugh that came from him was curt. “‘M fuckin’ terrified.”
The simulators had nothing on the real thing. Colorful displays and illuminated buttons hovered in front of your place in the jaeger.
Across from you, Hobie took the first step into the footholds and the machine automatically adjusted to his stature. He watched you expectantly and it made you bite the bullet.
You stepped into your foothold and several things occurred at once. The machine attached to your back to hold you in place then your wrists went through the same process, though they had more free reign than your back.
There was sudden laughter in your ears and you whipped your head around to see Hobie with an amused smile on his face.
“What’s so funny?” you snarked, already knowing that he was laughing at you.
“Your boat, that’s what.”
“My boat?”
“Your face, bruv.”
“Yeah, well, I’ve never had something attached to my spine before!” Your face cringed at the thought which made him snicker.
An automated voice cut through your banter.
Pilots on board and ready to connect.
In your helmet, you could hear Hobie take a deep breath as he reached forward to flip a few switches.
Next, Jess’s voice came through the speaker. “Alright, you two, we’re preparing for the neural handshake.”
It was really happening. Your heart was in your throat and you wondered if you were truly ready for this. To let someone— Hobie in your head. Could you handle something like that?
“Oi, bruv. Don’t go chasin’ R.A.B.I.T.s, got it? Just let ‘em flow past you, don’t let ‘em stay.”
Right, right. Rabbits. Some long ass acronym for memories. “Okay. Okay, I can do that.”
Neural interface Drift initiated.
Flashes upon flashes of memories that didn’t belong to you flooded into your mind. Voices and unintelligible whispers whipped past your ears.
You could see a smaller Hobie learning guitar from his mother. You felt the love and pride he had when he did something right. But then, you felt his desperation when his mother succumbed to alcohol.
You felt how he’d wondered what he did wrong to be neglected the way he was.
Then, memories that had been buried long ago were being unveiled before your eyes. Your parents cradling you as an infant, Your giggles as they made their silly faces.
You, as a toddler, wandering a desecrated city street. Ash and glass littered the street as you walked with a thumb in your mouth.
The memories clashed and overlapped with each other. Hobie’s time in the foster care system; you being taken in by an aunt; Hobie being accepted into the jaeger program— all of it. Moments you cherished like your introduction to being a jaeger technician and seeing Hobie for the first time.
You had admired him from afar. Someone who piloted your favorite jaeger and did it with pride.
And when he spoke to you for the first time, your head had spun in circles and your mouth couldn’t keep up with it.
Then, you saw Karl.
You saw Hobie and Karl meeting for the first time during the trials. Saw them reading their results and becoming drift partners— becoming best friends. You could feel the love they had for one another, how much they cared about each other. They were inseparable. Hobie would throw an arm over Karl’s shoulder and they would share a joke no one but them understood.
Karl was his best friend.
With a sharp breath, you were back in reality.
Right hemisphere calibrated.
Sharing a mind with someone was beyond jarring. You could hear the echoes of thoughts coming from Hobie, but none were coherent. Just feelings. You wondered if your mind was just about the same.
Left hemisphere calibrated.
You raised your right arm, perfectly in sync with Hobie, then raised your left. Together, Hellion Riser raised both of her fists in a battle stance.
Ready to activate the Jaeger.
A thought that didn’t belong to you streamlined through your mind and you laughed. Without a moment of hesitation, Hellion was raising two middle fingers.
A very unamused Jess cut through the speaker. “Very mature, you guys.”
Her displeasure only made your guys’ laughter bubble from your chests and echo into the cockpit.
Calibration complete.
There was something familiar about laughing with him. Something that didn’t belong to you.
Because it didn’t.
You weren’t in the present anymore.
“Did you see how I fucking blasted him, dude?” You were Karl Morningdew. No, you were Hobie. Fuck, it didn’t matter. They were sharing a mind. You were both of them.
“Bloke didn’t see it comin’!” Hobie had laughed, pride shining in his grin, and Karl joined him.
They thought the job was done, but the kaiju had disappeared in the waters below them. Hobie had been the first to notice.
“Oi, where the fuck did it—”
Hellion was being slammed against, nearly toppling the jaeger over. “Fuck! How’s it still going?!”
Claws dug into the cockpit and they both screamed. You could feel their bewilderment and their fear— because jaegers weren’t supposed to be torn into like this. It wasn’t supposed to be possible.
“We need to get it off!” Hobie had attempted to do so, but it had been too late.
With another swing, the kaiju tore into the right side and pulled Karl out.
You felt it all. Your senses were drowned with panic, panic, panic. Disbelief. And oh, the grief hit like a truck. It was hot in your hands— sent frigid chills down your spine.
And it hurt.
Being thrown back into reality sent your mind into a flurry. It came with ringing alarms and a distressed Jess.
“Hellion! You are out of alignment!”
You could hear Hobie apologizing— you could feel his grief clawing at him. At you. You’d felt like that before. You had.
Then you’d heard him calling your name. Telling you not to chase the rabbit.
You were confused.
What rabbit?
You and Riri never had a rabbit. In fact, a rabbit never crossed your mind as you two walked down the city street.
New York City was a place. A place you called home. It was filled to the brim with people that narrowly dodged each other on the sidewalk. Cars honked at each other nonstop and music played from somewhere you didn’t care to check.
Beside you, Riri nudged your side. “Hey, cousin. Whatchu think ‘bout this move?”
And in the middle of the sidewalk, she broke out in the butterfly dance. She moved her legs in a smooth in and out motion. Being fourteen, you were absolutely horrified that she was breaking out into a dance in public.
“Riri! Stoooppp!” you cried, shaking her arm. With her being two years your senior, she absolutely reveled in embarrassing you.
“Whaaat? I’m just dancin’!”
You had to avert your eyes as she began to tootsie roll. “I’m gonna tell Teetee that you’re using her lessons for evil!”
“You’re gonna tell my mom?!” She screeched. You laughed in her face as she playfully pushed you.
Everything stopped when the world started shaking. Your first thought was an earthquake, but the look on Riri’s face stopped you in your tracks. “What? What is it, cousin?” you pleaded.
The sound of screaming cut through the air then you were being pushed around by people running for their lives. You couldn’t tell what was happening but there was a dark cloud of destruction in the opposite direction.
Riri roughly yanked your arm and dragged you with the crowd. You wanted to ask what was going on, but a deep fear in your gut told you everything you needed to know.
Jets flew overhead, shooting missiles at the kaiju that was dragging itself through the city.
Through it all, you couldn’t help but get the inkling that someone was trying to get your attention. Muffled words bounced off your mind as fear clouded it.
The kaiju moved faster than you two could run, even with its long, slow steps that destroyed everything under its feet. You made the mistake of looking back.
The cloud of destruction couldn’t hide the grotesque thing from you any longer. It walked on all fours and was covered in a monstrous variety of spikes. It dragged itself through the street, tearing through buildings and bringing a storm of glass down upon its victims.
And it was nearly upon you. You wouldn’t be able to outrun it.
The terror took hold of your legs and you fell to your stomach. Riri tried to get you back up, but you couldn’t hear her desperate pleas over your screams. You were going to die. And there wasn’t anything you could refute that with.
What you hadn’t expected was your cousin to shield your body with hers.
The rain of glass sliced open your arms and any other part of your body it could reach. However, Riri took the full brunt of it.
The kaiju walked past you two, destroying what it could over the incessant attacks from the jets. All the while, you watched Riri’s life fade from her eyes as she collapsed on top of you.
You laid there, too scared to move. Hoping that maybe, just maybe, you’d wake up from your nightmare. But the glass that stuck itself into Riri’s body was all too real to even consider this a dream.
So you silently cried, too scared to cry any louder. Though, your weeping came to a solid halt when another pair of giant footsteps raced through the city. Was it another kaiju? Why was there another one?
Instead, a brilliant red and blue jaeger raced from the darkness and stopped the kaiju from causing any more destruction.
You couldn’t help but think: thank god. Because if the jaeger hadn’t come, you wouldn’t be able to scream and beg for Riri to—
Wake up!
The breath that you forced into your lungs dragged you back into reality. Your helmet had been discarded somewhere else and Hobie was holding you. His face was relieved when you finally looked him in the eye.
“You’re okay. It was just a memory. Just a memory,” he whispered to you. You could feel the tears burn in your eyes. Not only from the fresh memory buzzing around your head, but from the frustration of it all.
You fucked up.
And that disappointment followed you throughout the rest of the day. Everything had passed in a blur and somehow you found yourself here, sitting in the catwalk above Hellion. The base was deep into its night hours, with very few people still out and about. Unfortunately, you were one of them.
You hadn’t expected to be so shaken up, by why wouldn’t you? The last memory of Riri hadn’t been a pleasant one and it haunted your every move. Now Hobie knew it too.
You had one shot and you blew it.
There were footsteps heading in your direction. When you looked up, you saw the last person you wanted to see. Instead of greeting Hobie, you tucked your head in your arms and curled your knees close to your chest.
“That’s one way to say hello, innit.” Hobie’s voice did things to your soul that you hadn’t expected. Being in his head, knowing what made him who he was, gave you an entirely new outlook on who Hobie Brown was.
Hobie had been right. You can’t be inside someone’s head and expect not to care about them. But you didn’t need the drift for it to be established, no, all it did was build upon the foundation that was already there.
And you weren’t ready to deal with that yet. Nor ever.
Hobie came close to you, standing instead of sitting beside you. “Still shaken up?”
You clicked your tongue and let out a dry laugh. “Yeah, let’s go with that.”
“I don’t hold it against ya, it was your first time.”
“And my only time.” You let bitterness seep into your voice while your nails dug into your arms.
There was a sigh above you, then Hobie was sliding down to sit next to you. You could only focus on the way the side of his body pressed against yours and it did things to your heart.
“It was unrealistic to think nothin’ would go wrong our first time.” He leaned his head against the railing. “You weren’t the only one who messed up. I messed up first.”
You moved your head to peek at him. He stared off into the distance and you watched his eyes jump from place to place until they landed on you.
Being under his gaze made you shy and you hated that it reverted you back to your intern days. Your ears burned and you tore your eyes away. His laugh was kind and far from teasing. It only made the heat flare in your cheeks.
When his laughter died down, you two sat in a comfortable silence. Once you were able to get over Hobie’s proximity, your mind traveled back to Riri. You didn’t know if your somberness had leached into the atmosphere, but Hobie ended up nudging you.
“It’s not your fault, ya know tha’, right?”
You raised your head. “What isn’t?”
“Your cousin.”
You took in a sharp breath. “Is that so?” your voice wobbled, but you held firm. “I could’ve—”
“You did what you could.”
You wanted to get defensive, you wanted to deny him because what did he know? But he knew a lot. He’d seen it. He’d seen your moment of weakness and your failure and still said it wasn’t your fault.
You squeezed your eyes shut, hoping you wouldn’t cry for the umpteenth time today. You did what you could. And that was nothing. You couldn’t do anything but be protected.
Hobie placed a hand on your arm and squeezed it gently. It was a warm touch that sent your soul into a delightful spiral.
You wanted to say something, but everything died on your tongue. You just knew that there was no use in trying to argue with Hobie.
Instead, you smiled as you were reminded of something. “So you dream of being a rockstar?”
Hobie practically blinded you with his smile. “Everyday, mate. Gonna start a band after the war.”
“You already have people in mind?”
“Course! Got me a drummer and a few youngers lookin' to rock out.”
You muttered to yourself, “After the war, huh.” You were glad that Hobie was looking forward to something after the war— even if you doubted that the kaijus would be defeated in your lifetime.
“Yep. Which is why Hellion is gonna stick it to those fuckin’ kaijus.”
Your eyes widened. “Wha— You actually want to try again?”
“Second time’s a charm.”
“That’s not how the saying goes.”
“It is now. D’ya want to try or not?”
By this point, you had unfurled from your position and you were openly staring at Hobie. “I— Well, yeah! I wanna try again.”
“Good.” He rose to his feet and dragged you up with him. “We’re gonna need rest if that’s the case.”
There was something about the blaze in his eyes that told you that it was never anger. No, it was the burning desire to fight. To put an end to the war so he could live his life without fear. To be free.
He threw an arm over your shoulder and pulled you close. “Don’ worry. I won’t bring up the fact that you fancy me.” He poked your cheek and you could’ve sworn you were gonna faint from the sudden rush of blood to your face. “Not yet, at least.”
Steam could’ve risen from your cheeks and you wouldn’t have questioned it.
Hobie openly laughed as you batted him away. There was no way you were gonna get away with hiding it. He was in your head and you were stuck with him now.
You had asked for a chance and he gave it to you.

MmmmMMNGH some early concept sketches. Pretend any weird lines don’t exist—-I’m drawing this on my phone like the poor person I am lolol.
The story is still developing as well but…feel free to add in any input! I love hearing ideas.
Instead of Wolfwood being a terrible Ashley Furniture salesman, Vash decides to give it a try and spills his wine all over the bleached upholstery.
….whatever leads up to that scenario I’m not sure, but the death is certain.
The roles are reversed, and Wolfwood has to bury Vash. And he’s absolutely terrified of what this means now, especially for humanity once Knives finds out about this.
Vash’s soul enters the afterlife, and it’s kind of a big community like in Coco. The mood is mixed, maybe he recognizes quite a few people. But he probably doesn’t want to be recognized, really.
Especially not when those fangs of his are on full display. He’s just skull and bones, even lankier than when he had flesh. This wasn’t the “him” that people had come to know in the living world.
Somehow, Wolfwood finds out a way to enter this realm and he attempts to do it without Knives knowing about any of this. He has a time limit. He paints his face, covers his head, wears black gloves, whatever he needs to do to blend in.
He manages to find Vash (though it’s not that hard, he’s one of the few 6 ft+ tall skeletons meandering around). He lays out the stakes, lets Vash know that Knives is going to wipe the planet clean now that there’s nothing holding him back. He misses him, he honest to god needs to come back to the living world no matter what it takes.
But Vash….he hesitates. Maybe he’s seen Rem. Like the actual Rem. He hasn’t talked to her yet but he needs to. He’s been just a stone’s throw away from her at one point and he’s going to find her again and he needs to tell her everything. He can’t go back. Maybe he doesn’t want to. Maybe he’s somehow given a normal life here, as normal as it can be. He sees everyone he’s missed, and they missed him. And they’re like family. Why would he come back?
Wolfwood knew Vash’s skull was thick, but he didn’t know just how thick until his fist makes contact and quite literally pops it clean off Vash’s shoulders.
They eventually come to an agreement and there’s trials they would have to face to get back to the living world, but I wanted to capture just the amount of color this world would bring out compared to dusty Gunsmoke.
I’m wondering if Vash still has powers in this world. Maybe, Wolfwood’s flesh starts to fade away the longer he stays there, but for Vash it’s the opposite. He can bring out powers and he gains a faint blue glow that outlines his wings and his missing arm (I don’t think he would carry that prosthetic into the afterlife anyway?)
I’ll do more doodles but hopefully you guys like these for now?

The main three being jealous over reader? :3
Hi hi!! Love this req! Lol you always send in great ones :))
*JJBA (Part 3 Jotaro, Josuke, Okuyasu) Jealous Over Reader!;*
(wrote this with GN! Reader because why not…)
****************************************************
Jotaro (3)♡:
Jotaro’s more of the silent aggressive type but when Polnareff got a bit “too flirty” as he does with everyone- towards you…? Oh it was not very pretty.
You were playing cards with Pol, Kakyoin and Jotaro in your hotel room on your trip to Egypt to fight some sparkly vampire man. “HAH! Beat that Y/n!” Kakyoin shouted slamming down a “straight” (if you don’t play poker- it’s a pretty good hand lololl) you guys had been playing for what felt like hours- but there was nothing really else to do at the place, “Oh hey- why don’t we all go to the pool?!” Pol bleated out with a huge grin.
Not such a bad idea! You all decided it might be nice to check out. You went to get changed into your swimsuit and ran downstairs to the pool jumping in and making a huge splash. “CANNONBALL!!!!”… As you get out to jump again, you see Polnareff looking you up and down- and grinning from ear to ear. “Heh…”
Jotaro looks over and sees this interaction. And he tips his sunglasses down like some badass action movie character. “Polnareff…” he says gruffly, “If you ever look at Y/n like that again I’ll make sure you have no teeth left to smile at them with…” Polnareff backed off shuddering…
((Woa Joot O_O…))
Josuke♡:
Josuke was never the type to get very jealous; he’s naturally just more of a “go with the flow kinda guy.” But he began to get fed up when one of your casual “friends” from school kept being touchy and frankly a bit annoying towards you-
it started to get on his nerves like you wouldn’t believe >:(, this dude was all over you! Even when you asked him to stop. Hugging you, asking to walk you to class, just always trying something, even when you would politely decline.
“Oh y/n I’ll carry your books for you…”
“Uhh… that’s fine thank you- I can carry them myself…”
Then he’d just grab them from you… and try to put his arm around you possessively.
This was the final straw for Josuke. He decided to step in because this guy clearly wasn’t getting it. “Hey- would ya leave Y/n alone?! They clearly don’t want you bothering them, so stop being a freakin’ dick…”
“Huh-“ the guy turned around, “They don’t seem to have a problem with it….” He said looking over at you half glaring. “Are you kidding asshole?! Just leave them alone…”
“What- no! Just take your weirdo hairdo somewhere else kid….” the other boy said rolling his eyes.
Oh no…
(*insert DORA! x1000*)
Josuke managed to land a suspension but you ended up thanking him for getting that kid to stop being annoying towards you- it was sweet of him… you just wish he hadn’t gone that far overboard with it heh… (;-;”)
Okuyasu♡ :
It was Koichi’s birthday! Oku, You, Yukako and Josuke, planned to throw him a celebration at Tonio’s Italian restaurant… Okuyasu never thought he’d end up punching someone in the stomach midway through the party though…
Half the town was invited- I mean everyone loved Koichi- he’s such a reliable guy! There were games, and laughs radiating throughout the whole restaurant, Okuyasu was over gobbling up all the delicious Italian food at the buffet.
“Truth or Dare Okuyasu?” Koichi asked, turning around and smiling cheerfully. “DARE!!” He replied…enthusiastically… no way Koichi would come up with some crazy dare… 🙄 “DRINK A SHOTGLASS OF HOTSAUCE!” Koichi shouted, giggling- “Wh-What?!?!”… “No way!! I hate spicy foods!!!!” He blurted back at him…
“Alright alright… I got one!” Hazamada exclaimed, snickering and interrupting their game. “Rohan sensei- truth or dare?”… “Huh-! I’m not playing this childish game…” Rohan sneered, rolling his eyes. “Ugh… come on…” Hazamada pestered. “Fine whatever- truth…” Rohan answered begrudgingly.
“OOOH I was hoping you’d say that…” Hazamada paused… thinking for a moment. “If you could kiss Y/n would you?” WHAT DID HE JUST SAY?!?!
You nearly spit out your drink right in Koichi’s face… “Oi You smarmy little dick where do you get off asking questions like that…” Okuyasu chimed in- glaring at him. “Chill out it’s just a game…” Hazamada chuckled. “CHILL OUT- Quit asking questions like that making Y/n uncomfortable, you ASSHOLE!” Oku shouted- grabbing Hazamada by the collar and swiftly punching him in the stomach. “Woa woa Okuyasu-!” Josuke and you ran over to calm him down.
Oh gosh- well it was sweet of him to stick up for you,, even if his temper is a bit out of whack… his heart is in the right place 💜

Telling Bang Chan that you’re autistic
This is not at all from any fandoms that I usually write for, it was just an idea that I wrote down in like 20 mins at midnight lolol. It’s not that good, but yea, hopefully as I practice more my writing will be as good as it was before ^^
I’ve never written for Chan before so apologies if it’s not that accurate ;-;
(Just as a note in case people are confused, I myself am autistic so that’s where the idea came from)
Warnings: slight angst (but it has a fluffy ending), mention of ableism
Tumblr media
“Hey,” he said as he entered the room, gently closing the door behind him. “You wanted to tell me something?”
I nodded and took a shaky breath. Come on, you had to tell him at some point. If not now, you’d have to wait even longer, and that could cause more complications.
He slowly sat down next to me, making sure to still give me the space that I needed. He was so sweet… but what if what I was about to tell him would change his perception of me? Sure, it isn’t actually the end of the world, but even the kindest people sometimes had misconceptions surrounding autism. That was what I was mostly scared of. That, and that he would see the ugly side of it and it would scare him off. Of course it was not all bad, not at all. But there were still negative sides to it that I didn’t like to show.
“You seem nervous, is everything okay, y/n?” Chan asked me. I nodded, although I knew damn well I didn’t look okay. My foot was tapping continuously while I fiddled with my hands, trying to calm myself down. I had no idea if I was blushing or not, but my face felt very hot. I didn’t like this.
I wanted to ask him to promise me that this wouldn’t make him see me differently but honestly, how can you be sure of that? Even if he were to promise that, he was a human after all. He wouldn’t be able to control his reaction.
“I… need to tell you something,” I started, mentally preparing myself. I had past experiences where telling people about me being autistic turned out for the worst, and although Chan was the kindest soul I had ever met, I was still terrified. Well, here goes nothing..
“I’m…. I’m autistic.” I said and squeezed my eyes closed. For a moment, it felt like a weight was lifted off of my shoulders. But that was soon replaced by my stomach going insane because of the nerves kicking back in. “I… I didn’t tell you earlier because I didn’t know when to, and I completely understand if you want to break up wi—“
“Wow wow wow, wait a minute there. I haven’t even responded and you’re already worrying about the worst.” He interrupted me gently. I finally lifted up my gaze, and was met with Chan kindly smiling at me.
“Was this what had you so nervous all day?” He asked, and if anyone else had asked that I would’ve felt embarrassed. But for some reason I didn’t feel that way now. So I nodded.
“Well, you’re still the same person you were before you told me, aren’t you?” I nodded again. But he didn’t get it, right?
“W-well yeah but autism is complicated, there’s certain parts you haven’t seen yet because I mask those.” I said, my voice getting quieter as the sentence progressed.
“And?”
“W-well, what if you don’t like those?” The fear was essentially dripping from my voice. I didn’t want him to leave me.
“Why wouldn’t I? I like you, and this is a part of you as well.”’
“But maybe it won’t be what you expected or it’ll be weird or—“
“That doesn’t mean I’ll leave you, Y/n, I promise.” Chan said as I felt him gently grabbing my hand. “I’m not going anywhere, okay? Sure, I may have to learn some new things about you here and there, but I’m more than willing to do so and it won’t change my perception of you.” I couldn’t help but smile at it.
“I appreciate that you told me about this, I can imagine that it may be hard to do so.” I slowly nodded and rested my head against Chan’s shoulder.
“People have left me over this… I didn’t want to lose you too.”
“Never.” He slowly lifted up my hand and kissed it softly, before repeating what he said earlier. “I promise.”

So. Yesterday, a classmate asked me a very interesting question. (I’m out to her btw) Lolol honestly me clarifying in between that i’m actually 100% on the far end of being aro kind of collapsed the quo but i told her to ask away anyway. It was something like ‘Hypothetically, if u happened to meet an arospec person in school and you guys managed to really hit it off together, so much that you felt like you wanted them in your life even after school ended, would it…’ basically you get it. So she wasn’t really asking if i would date them but if it could possibly lead to any kind of partnership/if i could see myself in that sort of a companionship. and actually. what a brain-gear turning quo. The answer is no btw, that’s not the brain gear turning part. cause the quo ties to me Also happening to be aplatonic. which means nothing of that sort has happened to me till now and i frankly see the possibility to be very low. There has never been an instance where i’ve ‘hit it off’ with someone so profoundly that i end up ‘wanting them in my life more intensely’. (which doesn’t mean i don’t ever hit off with people or ever find happiness from having them in my life. No, that would be a gross misconstrue.) Uh anyways, i’m not going to explain the phenomenon of being💥apl💥top to bottom once again, just know that the answer is a direct no for me without any further ruminations. However the brain-gear turning part to me is that i nevertheless see meeting a fellow aroace(apl) person as the next biggest thing to happen in my life. And i have fantasized about it on many occasions. cause that would entail an exquisite kind of understanding i’ve never experienced in my life and mark an important milestone. which i’m sure won’t be happening until later. school is about to end in less than 6 months. So then what would it be like? Given that i am what i am. What form would that grandeur take? What form can it take?
On a lesser note, it also made me aware of the sort of ‘lack of determinism’ on my part. cause i have always been so led to want things i don’t truly want, which part of the yearning is real and which an inherent conditioning? Yeah you don’t see anyone asking straight people if they would ever turn gay but it’s allowed to aspecs? And it’s a thing we repeatedly ask ourselves too due to the same conditioning. Given that growing up and finding partnership doesn’t invalidate your aspec-ness in any way? As harmless a quo (my classmate’s) it was, led to a cascade of thoughts all over again. Good old Aromanticism.

Was Not The Hero / Not What You Expected Questions and Responses Part 5(I think, lol)
Does Philip know any other languages?
Response: I say no, he just knows english in my fanfics
2. How would the other canon characters react to this Philip?
Response: At first, they would be paranoid and believe he's trying to trick them all. I think the only way for them to believe he's changing would be canon Gus jumping into his mind, or everyone as well, to confirm the truth. Once they realize he is indeed changing, then it would definitely be a hard thing for them to digest and I would probably have to take some time into thinking how exactly each one would react : o
More questions and responses:
3. Was Philip considered a weirdo as a kid?
Response: For sure. In my fanfic, he would wear the mask to school too, hahaha, but that's cause he was a shy kid and had trouble making friends with others so he would use the mask to kind of 'shield' him from others
4. Was Philip punished because he looked girlier?
Response: There will be some flashbacks on that soon : )
5. Does Philip know how to use a gun?
Response: I say yah, Alexander taught him how to use one
6. I love how you gave Willow and Hunter more interactions than canon did
Response: Aww, thanks : ). I'm for sure going to try to give them more interactions between one another. It is rather difficult since I don't have much to go with, but that's okay, I'll see what i can do o.o
7. In Not What you expected” would Philip face racism for being a demon in the boiling isles?
Response: Of course : )
8. How would Philip react to being called a Gilf? If he knew the meaning?
Response: if he knew the meaning, he would probably give his famous shock wide eyed response and say nothing, hahaha
9. Would Caleb try to sketch out Philip in his monster form only for Philip to try to help him draw better and maybe bonding as a result?
Response: In the 'Not what you expected?", if so, then nope : o
10. Is Philip Tickilish?
Response: I say not anymore, but as a kid he was
11. ”And I’m Home” from Madoka Magica fits Philip and Silas relationship? Most notably the lyrics of translate from English
Response: That's a good song and I think yah it fits them : )
12. Does Philip Curse extends to everywhere on his body including his private parts?
Response: Hummmm, hahaha, i guess? Lolol
13. Does Philip know math and Physics if so can he be a teacher?
Response: Oh yeah, he excels at such things and he can be a good teacher : )
Questions I can't answer cause of spoilers:
In “Not What you Expected “ would Philip possess someone in the story like Caleb,Alexander, or the Minister?
Would Caleb get in trouble for hiding Philip inside his house in “Not What you Expected” like say Caleb is trying to lure Philip out and he gets hunted down and captured by the witch hunters, upset that Caleb betrayed him Philip blurts it out in anger about how he betraying him this in turn cause Caleb to either be tried as a witch for consorting with a demon, and in turn leads them into the boiling isles?
”In Not What you Expected” would Philip call himself Belos towards the townsfolk and witch hunters if he gets caught by them and tries to escape?
”In Not What you expected” can Philip do glyph magic and show it to Caleb?

I saw your post about yandere Levi so I was wondering what your thoughts would be on yandere Jean? (I’m ngl I can’t really picture him as a yandere but he’s so fine.)
to this day, i think his s4 hair is still kinda goofy (pls don't come for me haha it's simply my opinion, maybe it's because i'm still used to his old hair lolol)
my thoughts on yandere jean are kinda standard. as of now, i can only see him as a yandere that's not going to have much changes to his personality, whether or not the reader is an enemy or on his side. yeah if you're an enemy, he's first going to be a little hesitant on making a move on you but regardless, his outcome/methods are the same. he's not my most favorite character but i do like him and his character. back in middle school, i used to be OBSESSED with reading eren x reader x jean because of the conflict LMAO
sorry this is kinda short compared to my levi post, guess i gotta write more yandere!jean if i want to get used to his character haha
again this is sorta written as a gender neutral reader but it's also slightly implied to be a fem reader.
tw: manipulation, inappropriate touching, possessive behavior, implied non-con, jealousy themes
anyways back to yandere jean explanation. for me, he's not the one that's going to strike first. he’s the one that’s gonna wait it out till the end, but he will have his influences in order to get what he wants. he's cunning and observant, using what he's seen and known so he can properly manipulate. to the untrained eye, it seems that he's just cocky about being able to do this but he's secretly nervous and doubtful in his abilities, constantly thinking if what he's doing is morally correct. he's still as temperamental as he was when he was a trainee but it now eats him on the inside; he doesn't express his anger that much anymore but his jealousy is at a consistent all time high.
to his friends and other soldiers, jean just seems like normal jean. sure, he's a little overprotective and tends to move you away from the others so it would be just the two of you. sure, he may tell you things about your friends that make you think twice on why you're still talking to them. sure, sometimes you can feel his hands wander a little more than you're used to. but that's only because he knows what's best for you, right? jean promises he's everything but a dishonest man, he's only looking out for you!
jean is also known to be quite the daydreamer too, imagining a homely life with you despite the circumstances going around in the world around him. he loves the thought of you and him being all domestic, a child on your hip while you waited for dinner to finish before he came home from work. sometimes the daydreams wander into something more steamy but it's always quickly cut short because of the others interrupting it. he swears to god that everyone has it out for him whenever he has a daydream about you, like it's some kind of sixth sense.
he's always going to be a little mean to you, always teasing you but he always means well (in his standards at least). i wouldn't say he's a complete tsundere about his feelings but he definitely flirts, feeling embarrassed in secret about it afterwards. remember, he may seem confident on the outside but he always feels a little doubtful internally. he's definitely a force to mess with whenever someone else tries to flirt with you, he has a bite behind his bark at all times.
but when jean gets jealous, it quite literally takes over him. it's always a sickly, crawling feeling that resonates in the pit of his stomach to the edges of his fingertips. his temper is ten times worse too and he gets super insecure, to the point where he'll just straight up grab you and pull you into somewhere that's seclude enough to fuck you raw. he always puts in jabs about if the other person is better than he is and if the kindness he gave to you meant nothing at all. the hate-fucking always leaves you a sobbing mess, begging for his forgiveness and blubbering about how you only wanted him. then and only then will he comfort you, kissing your tears away and quietly apologizing, again repeating that everything he does to you is for your own good.

PART ONE // PART TWO // PART THREE
As the city skyline started to disappear into more rural surroundings and the radio became the most notable sound in the car Elvis spoke.
‘I shouldn’t have eaten all of that,’ he said with a sound of relief. He shifted in his seat and looked at me. I was looking at him now after spending most of the journey pouting and staring out the window, ‘you not talking to me?’ ‘I don’t know are you going to tell me what’s going on or are we just going to make small talk,’ I said raising an eyebrow. ‘I enjoy talking about anything with you honey,’ he challenged chuckling as my pout melted a little, ‘look I will explain but I wanna show you rather than tell you is that too much to ask?’ ‘So it’s nothing bad?’ I asked ‘Bad? Why the hell would you think it would be bad?’ he said his brow furrowed. ‘You said those nut jobs were around the house and Red and Sonny seemed amped. Then you and Jerry are being all secretive. What am I supposed to think?’ ‘Oh baby I’m sorry,’ he said, ‘I didn’t mean to worry you. I can promise it’s nothing bad.’ ‘Sorry,’ I mumbled, ‘I guess I put two and two together and got five.’ ‘Don’t worry I understand,’ he said falling quiet for a moment before he continued, ‘did you enjoy your birthday?’
The corner of my mouth turned up in a smile as I watched him glance at me every so often. ‘I did,’ I said, ‘you were right though I ate too much too.’ ‘That’s the problem with Lombardi’s it’s too good,’ he chuckled, ‘you like your cake?’ ‘Definitely, though I forgot to ask them to save some to bring back to the house.’ ‘I’m sure it’ll make its way back somehow. And I don’t know if we’ll have enough room for cake with all your presents,’ he smiled. ‘I’m a lucky girl what can I say,’ I smirked. ‘You deserve every single one,’ he smiled, ‘speaking of presents…’
He turned away from me as he glanced at a sign on the side of the road. It directed towards a long lane which he turned down and we started down a long winding dirt road which was lined by dense woodland. It was dark enough that I couldn’t see through the trees and the only thing illuminated was the short space in front of us as Elvis continued driving. Despite the unnerving outside Elvis seemed nonplussed as he hummed along to the music, his fingers tapping the top of the steering wheel. Eventually, the long lane broke into an open space which housed a cabin. He pulled up and parked beside it smirking at me as he climbed out without a word. I climbed out and found him hauling bags out of the trunk.
As he walked up onto the deck, I took in my surroundings. The cabin seemed to be the only thing around for miles and it had a back deck that flowed into a long yard that was cut through by what I assumed was an offshoot of the Mississippi. It was dim and the only light was the stars and a solitary lamp that was on at the front door. I didn’t have time to take it in properly though as I heard the jangle of keys and the door opening and turned to find Elvis ducking inside the cabin. I followed him watching as he flipped on the lights.
The cabin wasn’t too big. The main room was split into two providing a kitchen and living area. A large door at the back of it gave a glance at what I assumed was a bedroom. Elvis had dumped the bags by the door and was now standing in the middle of the living room, his arms spread wide as he grinned at me.
‘Ta da,’ he said. ‘What-’ I started as I walked towards him but he cut me off. He swooped in and wrapped his arms around me looking down at me with a smile.  ‘Do you like it?’ he asked excitedly.  ‘I do but…what is it?’ I asked making him chuckle.  ‘It’s your present,’ he said as if it were obvious, ‘you said yesterday that you were sick of us never getting a moment alone so…here we are.’ ‘You rented us a cabin for the night?’ I said with a smile. ‘Honey, I bought you a cabin,’ he corrected laughing as my eyes went wide. He pulled out of our embrace and sat down on the couch pulling me with him as my eyes roved over every inch of the room.
‘I can’t believe you did this,’ I mumbled. ‘I don’t know,’ he said moving a hair off of my face, ‘it seems like just the sort of thing I would do.’ ‘Well you’ve never been one to miss out on extravagance,’ I giggled. ‘Understated is for the boring,’ he smiled.  ‘But how?’ I said, ‘I mean I only told you all of that last night.’ ‘I called Jer early this morning. That’s why I had to go out. He rang round and found me a place and we drove up this afternoon and I bought it then and there.’ ‘It was like this when you came up here?’ I said noting the furniture that was already inside. ‘It looked a little worse for wear but Jer stayed here all day and made sure everything was as we wanted it,’ he said, ‘he’s the only one who knows we’re here too.’ ‘But Red-’ ‘Would never have agreed to letting us go somewhere without any supervision. Security blah blah,’ he said. ‘I bet his face was a picture when he realised you’d took off,’ I giggled.  ‘Oh no doubt,’ Elvis chuckled, ‘but Jer’s under strict instruction that he is not allowed to tell anyone where we are unless I tell him he can. So Red will just have to sit and stew.’  ‘Poor Jer,’ I said thinking of the grilling he was sure to be getting right now.  ‘Hey it’ll teach Red not to barge in when people are changing,’ Elvis murmured. I smiled to myself. I knew I’d hit a nerve. Then he leaned in and kissed my jaw and down my neck, his hand caressing my side gently.
‘So…’ I said, ‘we’re alone?’ ‘Completely,’ Elvis murmured as he continued planting kisses against my skin. ‘No interruptions?’  ‘None,’ he breathed against my neck. ‘No one needing you?’ I asked stroking my fingers through his hair. ‘Just you,’ he said pulling back with a smirk.  ‘Well Mr Presley,’ I said leaning in so we were an inch apart, ‘let me show you just how much I do.’
Elvis smiled and crashed his lips to mine. My hands fumbled with his shirt buttons as his tongue ran across my bottom lip begging me to let him in. As I let him a moan emitted from his lips causing the damp heat to worsen in my core.  His mouth moved off of mine, back to my neck, nipping and kissing its way down as I worked his shirt off. His hands were all over me now, caressing every inch of me through the silky fabric that kept us from one another. Once his shirt was off he stood, pulling me off the couch and back to him so he could kiss me once more. His hands held my face as he kissed me deeply. We stayed there for a moment, enjoying each other before I pulled back and said breathlessly, ‘bedroom?’
‘Definitely,’ he said with a glint in his eye. I turned to walk towards it but he came up behind me, ensnaring me from behind and kissing my neck as we walked slowly to our destination. As we got inside he unzipped my dress, his lips following down my back as he yanked it off, leaving me in just my underwear in front of him. I heard a fumble of clothing and when he walked around me I noticed he was now nude, his erection resting against his stomach. He was a sight to behold. His hair was out of place from where I’d run my fingers through it, his lips were swollen from kissing me and his pupils were blown making his blue eyes look almost black.
‘So beautiful,’ he said as he sat down on the bed and his fingers ghosted down my arm before he hooked my underwear in his fingers and pulled it down. As I stepped out of them he grabbed my hand in his and pulled me onto his lap. I wrapped my arms around his neck and kissed him again as his fingers undid my bra. I pulled back and shimmied it off moaning as his mouth captured my nipple as soon as it could.
‘That’s it baby,’ he said as he took the other between his fingers and pinched it gently. ‘Feels so good E,’ I moaned feeling my pussy throb with anticipation.  ‘Gonna make you feel so good baby,’ he said as he moved back on the bed. Then without warning, he flopped down. I was sitting on his thighs, eyes closed, but I opened them as he disappeared. My hand reached down to touch his cock but he stopped me, his fingers around my wrist as he leant up on his elbow. Spotting my confusion he chuckled, ‘not yet honey.’ ‘But-’ ‘Let me make you feel good first. Bring that pretty ass up here,’ he cooed reaching up to stroke my cheek. I nodded.
I clambered towards him, my knees on either side of his head, hovering above him expectantly. I heard him chuckle at my eagerness and then I felt him kissing up my thighs until he planted one on my pussy. He didn’t start though, instead, his fingers teased through my slickened folds.
‘You’re soaked, honey. I haven’t even touched you yet,’ he said, ‘so eager for me.’ ‘Need you E,’ I said as a shock ran through me as his finger traced around my clit.  ‘You’ve got me, baby,’ he said and then he buried his face in me. His tongue lapped at every inch of me, his nose nudging against my clit, causing pleasure to amp up in my core. I groaned as I rode his face, our movements soon becoming synchronised.  ‘E,’ I groaned, ‘oh fuck.’
I was near coming undone. A whimpering mess above him as he alternated his movements between focusing on my clit and fucking my hole with his tongue. His arms were wrapped around my thighs, keeping me in place, and forcing me to do as he wanted.  ‘I’m gonna cum,’ I whimpered receiving a hearty hum from him, ‘fuck, fuck, fuck, fuuuuuuuuuuck.’
I said as white hot pleasure ran through me causing my legs to shake and me to fall forward. He lapped at me a little more and then lessened his hold allowing me to fall down onto the bed. He was at my side in an instant, hovering over me, his chin glistening with my juices.
‘E,’ I panted, reaching up to stroke his face.  ‘Did I make you feel good baby?’ he said laughing as I barely managed to nod. The feeling was only just returning to my legs and I could feel my heartbeat in my ears but I didn’t care. He watched me with adoration. ‘Just need a minute,’ I said leaning up to kiss him. He kissed me back gently and for a moment neither of us spoke as we enjoyed the other.
Once the strength had returned back to my body I rolled him onto his back with gusto. He watched as I shimmied down so I was straddling his thighs smiling as I heard his breath hitch with anticipation. I grasped his cock and pumped him gently in my hand. I moved my hand up and down his shaft gently, enjoying the way his head fell back against the bed with a groan.
Then I shifted forward, running his tip through my folds before I lined him up against my entrance.
‘Do it baby,’ he said watching me as I inched him in slowly. ‘Fuck E,’ I said as he bottomed out earning a groan in reply. I moved up and down slowly until I settled into a rhythm. I was lost in the moment, my eyes closed as I caressed my own chest, playing with my nipples. He took control then, his fingers holding me in place so he could pound up into me.  ‘Touch yourself,’ he ordered pulling me out of my haze. I obliged and my fingers teased around my clit, matching his rhythm and speed. ‘E,’ I panted as that second wave crept up on me. ‘Not without me mama,’ he said and I nodded. ‘Need it,’ I panted. ‘I’m with you baby,’ he said, ‘cum with me okay?’  ‘Okay,’ I whimpered. ‘Three…two…one,’ he said the last word coming out strangled as he shot inside me. My walls fluttered around him milking him for all he was worth. His hips faltered until they slowed and I pulled off of him, falling beside him exhausted.
As we caught our breath he pulled me into him and we lay in bliss for a moment before he spoke, ‘well, that’s put an end to that question.’ ‘What?’ I said with a small yawn. ‘You said unless we were alone we would have to quiet,’ he mused. I felt another blush creep up on me. ‘I was kinda loud huh?’ I giggled.  ‘Hey I’m here for it,’ he said, ‘though I think if you did that at home they’d be able to hear you at the gate.’ ‘Maybe it might drive them away,’ I chuckled.  ‘Maybe,’ he said kissing my temple, ‘we might have to try it.’ I nodded and yawned again.  ‘Tired birthday girl?’ he asked and I nodded, ‘how about we shower and get you into bed?’ ‘Sounds like a good idea to me,’ I said. ‘Guess I’m just full of them today huh?’ he said.  ‘You can say that again,’ I smiled earning myself an eye roll from him. I didn’t care. My boy had done good today.
✵✵✵
I woke late the next morning. The sun had long been out but had only just started to breach through the bedroom window as I stirred. I shifted realising that Elvis was pressed against me, his arm wrapped around me, clutching the chiffon of the nightdress I had changed into after our shower.
‘Mmm,’ he mumbled as I nestled against him. I shifted so I was now on my back and watched him as his eyes opened slowly.  ‘Morning,’ I said watching him with a smile.  ‘Morning,’ he mumbled, pressing a sleepy kiss onto my cheek before his eyes opened properly, ‘what time is it?’  ‘A little after eleven,’ I said as I reached for his watch which was on my nightstand. ‘Woah,’ he mumbled, ‘don’t think I’ve slept that well in years.’ ‘Me either. The wonder of a bit of quiet,’ I sighed happily. Elvis nodded and leaned in to kiss me.
His hand cupped my jaw as he kissed me gently. We lay there for a moment until he pulled back watching me with a smile. I could feel him excited against my thigh and I reached down to touch him gently. He groaned and buried his head in my shoulder as I coaxed him to full length.
‘God damn Y/N,’ he whimpered, and then he rolled me onto my side and came up behind me. His fingers teased my hole before he shoved two of them inside me. I was slick but there was definitely a sting as he fucked me gently getting me ready for him. I bit my lip to keep from whimpering as removed his fingers and replaced them with his cock. He buried himself in me and though there was a little pain at the start it soon devolved to pleasure.
‘Oh fuck baby,’ he said. ‘E,’ I cried. ‘You feel amazing,’ he said kissing along my shoulders, ‘taking me so good.’ ‘Always,’ I breathed. He held one of my hands under the pillow as his other caressed down my body until he was teasing my clit slowly in match with his thrusts inside me. I was coming undone quicker than ever.  ‘Oh Y/N,’ he whimpered as his orgasm hit us both by surprise.  ‘Oh E,’ I whimpered. ‘That’s it baby girl,’ he panted as my climax washed over me. As I came down from my high he pulled out kissing just below my ear.  ‘I love you,’ I mumbled, leaning back against him.  ‘I love you too baby,’ he said kissing my shoulder.
I lay there for a moment. In my bubble of contentment. I didn’t want to move from here. Ever.
✵✵✵
‘Got everything?’ Elvis said as he stood by the door. I mentally ran through everything in my head and then nodded heading to the door. He grabbed the bag I was holding and headed out onto the porch. He placed the bags down and then waited for me to step out so he could lock the door. As he went to the car and started to load up I wandered over onto the back deck and looked out at the view.
It looked amazing. I hadn’t been able to appreciate it yesterday in the darkness of the night but in the evening sunset, it looked divine. The backyard was a neat patch of grass that devolved into trees and dense woodland on either side of it. Yellow and orange leaves had just started to hem the edges of the green lawn as the winter months drew in and at the edge of the garden it sloped off down to the river which was now yellow and purple on its surface as it reflected the ever sinking sun.
I watched as the river rippled past, slow and lazy. This would be a perfect family vacation spot. The perfect place for us to have friends and family over for a barbecue, as we did at Graceland. But as soon as that thought came into my head I shook it out. I didn’t want that. I liked the idea that we were the only people in the world who knew we were here. It felt better this way, more special.
I loved being married to Elvis. I loved my life. But I had meant what I said. I was done with being uncomfortable in my own space. Done with sharing him with the world. I wanted more. I wanted to be a married couple. Normal.
I needed to tell him.
As that last thought slipped from my mind I felt Elvis’ arms wrap around me as he pulled me close.  ‘Damn that’s some view,’ he whistled.  ‘I know,’ I said turning around, ‘I’m so lucky you found it.’ ‘Gotta thank Jer for that one honey,’ he chuckled. ‘I’ll make sure to thank him when we get back,’ I said.  ‘Just not the way you thanked me last night okay?’ he chuckled making me roll my eyes. We fell quiet for a moment, the both of us looking out at the sunset and enjoying our last few simple moments together.
‘Seriously though,’ I said after a minute causing him to look at me, ‘thank you for this. It’s just what I needed.’ ‘I’m glad,’ he said, ‘I’d do anything for you you know that.’ ‘I know,’ I said quietly. ‘But?’ he said immediately catching there was something more behind my expression. ‘But I need you to promise me something?’ ‘What is it?’ he asked a furrow in his brow. ‘That this isn’t a one time thing,’ I said biting my lip. ‘Baby we bought a house,’ he chuckled, ‘not like I can forget that in a hurry.’ ‘I know, I know, I just…I want you to promise me that we’ll come back. Just the two of us. Anytime we need to. This can be like-’ ‘A fortress of solitude?’ he said with an excited expression as he explained to my confused one, ‘Batman has one.’ ‘Yeah, like that. I want us to be able to get away from everything if we need to. From everyone,’ I said. ‘It’s between you and me…and Jer,’ he chuckled. ‘Well I suppose I can’t argue with that,’ I smiled.  ‘But you have to promise me something too.’ ‘What?’  ‘That you’ll tell me,’ he said looking at me with his piercing blue eyes, ‘when things are tough. Promise you’ll tell me that you need a lil space. I hate fightin’ with you, and I hate to see you unhappy.’ ‘I’m always happy when I’m with you,’ I reasoned. ‘Just all them other folks around huh?’ he chuckled hugging me close and kissing the top of my head.  ‘They’re part of you,’ I said. It was easier to be more truthful now he wasn’t staring at me, ‘and I’ll always understand that. But sometimes I just get a lil lonely even in a room full of people.’ He pulled back and smiled sadly at me for a moment before he said, ‘you don’t ever have to feel lonely again. You got me.’ ‘Promise?’ ‘Promise,’ he said.

Do you think Yang and Blake made for poorer partners than what configuration your vitalis AU has? Do you like Blake as a character generally? I know you talk a lot about Yang but B/Y isn’t your cup of tea for ships (which I respect and am not trying to convince you otherwise lolol I’m just kinda curious) so what would you prefer for the characters instead moving forward in the narrative?
i wouldn't say "poorer" bc when writing—especially writing an au—you can do whatever you want and come up with new things, canon be damned lol buuuut for a long time, the concept of partners in general in canon has been a "problem" point for me, bc not much is done with it to... "justify" it, if you will?
like, it very much feels like that they had an idea for ruby and weiss for the emerald forest (which didn't last a day) and bc they need to have team rwby, well. blake and yang it is, i guess? in that sense they very much feel like an afterthought bc for the most part in the first two volumes they're just there; when blake finally gets her time to shine at the end of V1, weiss is central to it, ruby is shown to be the most concerned for blake, and yang is. kind of just there. which is fine, but if the point is to sell the importance of partners, why couldn't yang have ruby's role, or do something else that makes her be central to blake's storyline from the get-go?
and this set-up as a whole leads to, admittedly hilarious, scenarios in V2 where after a whole semester blake needs to be explained how yang's semblance works and then two episodes later yang is telling blake her tragic backstory of people leaving her behind with no apparent change in their relationship on screen, as much as time has passed.
and when the ball eventually does get rolling with the two of them, there's this... i had expectations (based on what the writers had done previously / with other characters) that reality did not meet. and that's fine!! you can't possibly cater to anyone lol but for me, it just means my interest is pretty darn low; it's like they had a whole pool they could have dove into head first and it would have been great, but instead they just barely dipped their toes in and called it a day.
so, as far as my au goes, it was a choice between throwing the whole concept out, or do some changes—and while keeping the same partners and coming up with new stuff for them would have been an option, when canon presents me with an opportunity with something that's already there and i find interesting, i'd rather go with that.
and i like blake. again, i don't really have characters i hate or even dislike, it's more of an interest thing; what's their storyline like? is it in the spotlight right now or not? what is the character doing in the meanwhile? etc. so if there's nothing that currently interests me about a character i don't talk about them much.
i'm also way too deep into strq fam + cinder + salem & ozma stuff so everyone else gets left in the sidelines until they do something that piques my interest lol but it doesn't mean i don't like them.
as for preferences, i don't really have any beyond what makes obvious sense? like, yang obviously has to be involved in the whole summer mission thing, it makes absolutely zero sense for her not to, so there's that. as for blake, bringing back the white fang storyline and at least attempting to fix it would be nice, bc leaving it as a dumpster fire that they continuously poured gasoline on and then stopped doesn't stop it being a dumpster fire, it's just a dumpster fire that no one is pouring any gasoline on. and that's a shadow that hovers over blake constantly whether they like it or not; for example, sure, blake can make all the comments about how awful mantle looks, but then you look a little bit to the left where the crater is with faunus living in shacks with no heating and from what i can tell, the only wall they have is the one between the crater and mantle and it's like.
ok then.
but also idk what they can really do in vacuo that could salvage even the tiniest part of this storyline since everything to do with the white fang storyline since day 1 was pointed towards atlas, so. . . kind of don't know what i'd like blake to do, tbh. anything really that gives me something to chew one lol

HI Ok this is probably going to sound completely unhinged but bear with me: I have this issue where I have lots of ideas (usually very vague ones) for stories that I love to imagine writing—but when I actually get around to writing them I just stare at a blank page; or I have no idea for plot beyond some abstract concepts—I’ve been thinking a lot about Snowjanus recently, and—this is the unhinged part—one of my main interests is early American history and there was this guy named William Strachey who was the secretary of Jamestown, and also an attempted poet, and when I read TBOSAS I realized that I recognized the name Sejanus from one of his poems VPON SEIANVS, which was prefaced to Ben Johnson’s Seianus His Fall,—and it all just works so nicely together since they were contemporaries of Shakespeare (AND Seianus His Fall was performed at the Globe, and Strachey’s story of being shipwrecked very likely inspired The Tempest) who of course wrote The Tragedie of Coriolanus—now thematically or narratively I have no idea how these things would all fit together—I have a lot of other random ideas like that, or vibes but nothing concrete—this is basically a long-winded way of asking if you had any advice on how to go from “man this idea sure would be neat” to an actual story? (I’m obsessed with your writing btw <3)
Hi hi!!! I am happy to help!! Also I understand exactly what you mean- I only hope that my advice actually makes sense!!!
Ok so- for me personally, when it comes to getting rough ideas out onto a page, I have a couple different methods I follow:
- The first is, if I already have parts of a whole scene in mind, but I don’t know the beginning/ending, I often just write the part that I know. So if that means writing the climax for a story, even though I have no idea how I’ll get the plot there? Oh well. At least the idea is out, and often times that will inspire me more.
- If I have a hazy idea but no plot yet, I like to write out little bullet points. Sometimes bullet points as simple as: (using my fic Thoughts of you Consume as an example)
- Coryo and Sejanus begin to have hate sex
- Coryo starts to feel something more
- Sejanus pulls away. Coryo chases after
Like! Those bullet points give me NOTHING. But they also give me a baseline to begin working off of, and from there I can begin to envision where I want it to go. I’ll expand on each bullet point and add subcategories, which only helps make the plot outline grow
- Another method that I sometimes use is to just spitball ideas. I’ll set a timer sometimes, or just devote myself to the task, and will just write out any ideas that come to mind with a particular prompt, and then I take it from there. Example for the prompt “snowjanus first kiss”, I may write out stuff like this:
- Coryo kisses Sejanus after the arena scene, his emotions a whirl
- Sejanus kisses Coryo on the train, too damn happy to see him
- Their first kiss is a dare, and Coryo wont back down
- Sejanus kisses Coryo after a party, when they’re both mildy drunk and confused. Sejanus forgets it, but Coryo never does.
Then from there, I’ll examine each little start and see what I like best. In this scenario, I really like the last one (shoot now I’ll have to turn that into a fic lolol) so my next step would be to outline the plot. When does the party take place? How long does Coryo hold the knowledge in? Does he ever tell Sejanus?
And most importantly- how do I want the story to end? With them together? With Sejanus hanging? With the start of the 10th hunger games?
- One final method I do is daydreaming. I’ll put on a playlist inspired by the pairing and see where it takes me (thoughts of you consume was actually inspired by 2 songs- War of Hearts, and Howl by Florence + the machine). I’ll let my mind make whatever connections it wants to make, and I’ll jot down ideas as they come!
Sorry for the overly complex answer- I guess at the end of the day, I really have no tried and true method. It all depends on how inspired I am.
But I hope one of these methods can be useful to you!! The biggest thing I think is to not be afraid of writing stuff that you may end up discarding. If a connection doesn’t work, if a plot point doesn’t fit- it’s ok to scrap it!! It sucks to lose time, but if it doesn’t fit, it doesn’t fit.
I’d definitely recommend that you write out all the ways that Snowjanus connects to the historical elements that you said! Determine if you want to write some sort of crossover set in old times, or if you want to bring historical figure’s personality traits onto the characters of Sejanus and Coriolanus.
So yeah! I hope this helps, and feel free to reach out with any other questions!!! Sorry, my brain is quite a mess lol, but best of luck to you!!

hi snowsnow teehee so as it stands i’m currently obsessed with the loser boyfriend trope LOLOL but like just a boyfriend that dotes on you with every little thing you do yk and i feel like that would be kuroo hehe ^-^
ok so i hope i did this properly and portrayed both kuroo and the loser bf trope properly HDFHFGD
warnings: probably ooc kuroo - gn!reader - not sure if i did the loser bf trope properly - college au lowkey - 700 words oops - non beta’d
It was no secret that Kuroo was popular throughout highschool & college, mostly for his looks since people didn’t really have a chance to get to know him. Especially because he didn’t pay them no mind, he had his circle and that was more than enough for him.
Somehow, you were also in his circle, meaning you had to deal with his playful yet sometimes loud personality. You had grown used to it over the years and in all honesty, you didn’t mind it one bit, it was just how he was and you couldn’t help falling for him.
Kuroo watched you write away something in your notebook, observing you with every move as a small smile crept on his face. It was no secret to anyone just how big of a simp Kuroo was.
“What are you doing?” Kuroo questioned, snapping you out of your trance, noticing him peeking over your shoulder.
“Nothing Tetsu– Just scribbling.” you smiled, planting a kiss on his cheek, noticing his smile growing bigger and his light flush of pink on his face. No matter how many kisses he’d receive from you, it wouldn’t stop him from getting flustered, even the smallest bit. He was so in love with you and he didn’t even try to hide it, he was always doting over the smallest things you did, always showing his love for you one way or another.
“Is that so?” he asked and you nodded, closing your notebook as you turned all your attention to him. “Cute.” he mumbled, wrapping his arms around you as you relaxed.
“Did you say something?” you frowned, looking at your boyfriend who had his eyes closed and a smile plastered on his face. “No–, not at all.” he mumbled, burying his face into your neck.
“Whatever you say Tetsu.” you smiled, running your hands through his hair and enjoying the moment. It wasn’t every day where you two had a moment of peace at his dorm room, considering his roommates were always there.
“So– what did you call me over for?” you asked once again, finally making Kuroo open his eyes as he looked at you, averting his eyes to a bag next to his nightstand. “Can’t I just ask to see you?” Kuroo answered, faking being offended, earning a playful slap from you.
“You know I didn’t mean it like that, you said you had something.” you laughed and Kuroo finally let go of you, getting up from his bed after and grabbing the bag.
“Okay so first off– Don’t laugh at me.” Kuroo started, a small grin plastered on his face as he recalled what it was. “You’re scaring me a bit Tetsu.” you laughed, laying back down on his bed.
“Good.” he answered, a playful tone lingered in the way he spoke.
Kuroo had gotten matching onesies for the two of you, it originally had started as a playful joke between the both of you but the more he thought about it, the more he liked the idea. It was just something silly but he really wanted to show you as soon as he got it, that’s why he called you over.
“I got us those matching onesies–” Kuroo continued, showing you the set he got, watching your reaction while holding back his laughter. “Tetsu–” you laughed, taking a better look at them before properly answering.
“They’re so stupid, I love it.” you answered, Kuroo breaking out in a fit of laughter right after.
Kuroo purposely went and got the most idiotic ones he could find, just to feed into the joke and make you laugh. So seeing your reaction was priceless and he’d do anything to achieve that, being fully aware of how big of a simp he was.
“You do? It definitely was worth calling you over wasn’t it?” Kuroo asked jokingly, plopping down on the bed next to you. “You’re an idiot.” you mumbled, laying your head on his shoulder with a smile on your face.
“I love you too.” Kuroo laughed, placing a kiss on your head as a peaceful silence fell and you two sat there, enjoying one another’s company.
Because in the end, this was really all Kuroo could ever ask for and he was prepared to drop anything to achieve this with you if needed.

wait wait this isn’t the first i heard of this but parallels between silver and and mc? i’m not sure what you and the other anons are talking about, pls explain 😭 i really can’t get a grasp of silvers character (though reading all those theories you guys had helped me quite a bit!!)
Yes Anonie! 🙌💞 There are parallels between Silver and MC.
Me and the other anonies were talking about the parallels (and theories of book 7) between Silver and Sebek. ( 1, 2, and 3).
I also had to bring up the parallels that you see in Silver and MC too (because it lives in my head rent free). I hope that explains it better. ☺️🌺
(under the cut for details about Silver and MC parallels, and about Silver himself. There could be minor spoilers for future events and cards)
Silver, in the character introduction trailer, mentions that he has ‘seen you once upon a time.” Now, this can mean many things, but I believe we will see more of how this line plays into the story in book 7.
Silver is a knight and he has trained to be one with Lilia all his life. in his PE uniform story, one of the lines he mentions to MC is that he thinks MC has a talent for sword. Now this can mean many things, and many theories can explain it, but it means that something about MC (or maybe he has seen mc before?) tells him that they would be good with a sword.
Silver’s second birthday card (union birthday) receives a polaroid to take pictures which is parallel with MC who has the ghost Camera. this is a point that I love love love to scream about. because, the ghost camera is an item that will basically take your feelings for the people in the picture and in a way...bring that picture alive? so it measure your fondness for them. With a polaroid, you get the same thing but without that magic aspect, you take a picture with those you want to and spend time with them and get to know them while waiting for the picture to develop. in a way that also measures your feelings as you spend time with them.
At the end of chapter 6, MC talks to mickey through the mirror. Grim can't see mickey at all and vice versa. Prefect leaves for a second and when they come back mickey mentions seeing someone with Silver’s characteristics in his (mickeys) dream world. which can tie into the whole, “I’ve seen you once upon a dream’ quote mentioned at the beginning and It might also be Silver’s UM at play. the parallels here is that both are looking through a mirror to another person/world. both are somehow connected to mickey.
Silver (a human) grew up in an environment that he does not come from (the faes) and MC (a magicless human) is now living in a world that they are not used to (twisted wonderland, a world full of magic). While Silver had time and grew up with Lilia, MC has been thrusted in this world and is slowly (and stressfully) adapting.
Probably nothing, but I love how MC and Silver are both straight forward about every situation they are in too 🤣
Silver is such an interesting character, and I wish we knew more about him and the other Diasomnia characters. (I’m glad the theories me and the anonies were talking about helped 👏🌻)
Silver is a straight forward character. His manners and speech and the way he treats others gets him labeled as the ‘disney princess (sleeping beauty) or Prince (Philip)’ of the group. Or in general Prince Charming or someone who belongs in RSA. For example, In Fairy Gala If, Silver straight up wanted to talk to the Fairy Queen so they could get the magic stone back and not have to do go the trickery route. of course, everyone rejected that idea 🤣 because that's not how these NRC students do things lolol and in the same event, where they all get caught, Silver was willing to stay behind and get captured, so his fellow classmates can escape from the angry fairies. in the second halloween event, Silver was willing to give the ‘ticket’ that they had to get from the ghosts to rescue everyone back to the ghost. because it belonged to the ghost lady and he didn't feel right having it. he literally politely offered it back to her, literally went basically “here, you can have this, since its yours.” needless to say Jamil and the Ghost lady was not expecting this and was shocked that he did it.
He cares for family. when he learned that the whole situation in the second halloween event was just trick, he did not hold back when he scolded Lilia about it. he was genuinely worried about those he considers family. He even mentions (and look, more flags) how he loves his family and how much he depends on them and don’t want to lose them.
Silver, like sebek, is protective of malleus and Lilia. as seen in several instances when Silver was ready to protect them in book 2 and even his robes card (against idia because of course idia was acting weird to him lol)
Silver has light magic (as do Kalim and Rook) which could be because these three characters do not belong in NRC because they are not the ‘villain type’.
He’s frustrated with his curse and wants to get rid of it at all costs, but despite that, he works his hardest.
During Dance and wishes, he wished for his father to live a long and healthy life which really shows how much he loves family.
He loves to also drop random facts too. In the second Halloween event, he dropped story after story about his childhood. One of which mentioned that lilia traveled across…worlds?!? (Are we sure mc should be asking Crowley for help? I think they should ask lilia lol 😂)
I just adore Silver. I want to know more about him and cant wait to find out more about him in the future. I hope me rambling about Silver kind of helped you get to know him anonie ☺️🌻

hiiii!! i just got back from camping lol and was wondering if you could do a 🍓 about soul and DtK asking M!Reader (and eachother) out on a date? like the 3 of them going out?
i’m so sorry that I haven’t been updating, i’m just trying to enjoy the summer while I have it and I haven’t been that all motivated, so I’m very sorry about that. I try to write but I just lose motivation. But i’ll try to start writing more like how I usually do!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Soul and Kid would start to have this feeling…this feeling involved in the last “date” that the three of you had. They actually wanted to go on an actual date with you, really bad.
You also followed through with this feeling as well, you can’t help but actually want to experience an actual date with Soul and Kid, but would that make you three a couple? Yes, it would. But you won’t mind, of course Kid and Soul won’t mind either.
Soul and Kid had already had asked out one another for this date and they both seemed pleased. Of course the relationship isn’t to its fullest without you, so they are gonna ask you out as well.
They decided to do it together instead of individually, so they got prepared and started to make way to you.
They both asked you out and you couldn’t help but flush red. It made your heart flutter and you felt excited about this date, an actual date with Soul and Kid.
You said yes and you all shared your opinions about the timing and where would the date be at. Thank goodness it was a Friday, so nothing is stopping you three.
Just like the last “date”, you went home and immediately got ready. You made sure that everything was nice yourself, you have to be appealing for this very loving date.
Instead of Soul picking you up, Kid did, Soul was also there too. (I imagine Kid has a limo and some guy is driving it lolol) You three sat in the back, chatting about this date.
When you all finally arrive, you three get out of the car and you get your seats, the date is calming and sweet, some slow music playing on the mist of the beauty of it all. You feel happy, your smile never dropped not one second because this really was an amazing date, it was nice and loving for you, it actually felt nice to go and have a literal date other than the last one.
Soul and Kid felt the same way, they really preferred going on an actual date with you other than just disguising it. Just seeing you smile and have a good time is what makes them happy as well.
There were some funny moments like how you guys kept flirting with one another or Soul just ordering the most plainest thing on the menu. Even when Kid was silently crying mentally when his wallet is empty it was still so funny.
After the date is all set and done, you thank them with a smile and a small blush on your cheeks before going back inside your house.
Soul and Kid had a little something up their sleeve, that being them giving you a small loving kiss before you left. It made you flustered as you just waved then off so flustered as you sped walked into your house and shutting the door. It as funny to see your reaction.
You three will always remember that beautiful night, it was amazing. It made you three happy. You would definitely love to go out more with them and they would too.
Tumblr media
I am very sorry if this is short, like I said in the beginning I haven’t really been that motivated on either of my Quotev, Ao3, or even my wattpad. So I apologize for my lack of motivation throughout this summer, i’ll try to get back on track and put some more work out there for you guys because I really love you all, you all mean the world to me so it’s my honor to keep writing and updating you guys to make you all very happy❤️❤️❤️
