that is the request, hpn !!!! ❤️🩷

-You adored your present from your papa for Christmas, a salon set, where you could do your hair, nails, and put little stickered jewels on your face. Perfect for a dress up fanatic like you!

-You adored the gift, leaping into your papa’s arms when you unwrapped it, completely overjoyed, much to his own delight- he loved seeing you happy.

-He watched you play at the salon set before rushing to your dress up closet, filled with all sorts of costumes and accessories, coming out and giving him a fashion show.

-Of course, he gassed you up- treating you like how you should always be treated and to not accept anything else, beaming as he clapped for you.

-However, he was dreading that fateful question which only took three days for you to ask, “Papa- can I give you a makeover too?”

-Odin- To make you happy, he agreed, within reason. He let you brush his hair and beard and put at least a couple of bows and clips into them. He wouldn’t let you put any make up or jewels onto his face, but he did placate you by allowing you to paint his nails. You had a surprisingly steady hand, and his nails were painted very evenly. You couldn’t help but beam brightly up at him, “Thank you papa! This is so much fun!” He stroked your hair gently as you put a bowtie on both Muninn and Huginn, as they wanted to be fancy as well.

-Poseidon- Seeing your bright pleading eyes and adorable smile, he couldn’t resist you, allowing you to paint his nails at least, but did request that you use blue tones only. He didn’t say that you only had to use one blue tone~ By the time you finished, each of his nails were a different shade of blue! His eyelid twitched slightly, seeing the rainbow of blue, all of them neatly done before he felt a smile appearing, seeing one jewel on his pinkie fingers, “Those are so you can be extra fancy!” he chuckled softly, pulling you up into his arms, hugging you close, “I love them- thank you Y/N.” your smile made it all worthwhile.

-Beelzebub- Would proudly wear the bows and hairclips in his hair that you gave him, wouldn’t care in the slightest and if anyone dared say anything, he wouldn’t hesitate to scare them- to put them in their place. Your happiness was his number one priority and if you wanted to play dress up and wanted him to play with you- he would gladly sit there and let you paint his nails. He was surprised the first time he let you paint them, as your hand was so steady- his nails looked like a professional had done them! He couldn’t help but beam, seeing that you were a natural genius!

-Hades- If you want to dress up fancy and go out with Papa on a daddy/daughter date, he is whipping out his best suit so the both of you look your best! He portrays a mature vibe to all others, but to you, everyone could easily see how childish he could be- just to make you happy. You would paint his nails and he would teach out how to color coordinate, so if he was wearing a certain color, he would tell you what colors fit the best and let you paint them to your heart’s content. He then would paint your nails so you would both match!

-Loki- If you want to do a fashion show, he has spotlights and the runway ready for you, several cameras ready so he can capture all your adorableness! If you want him to play dress up with you, he is instantly in his closet, or allowing you to drag him to your dress up closet, and he is getting ready to walk that runway like rent is due tomorrow!! Loki adores playing with you, if you want to give him a makeover, he will let you do as you please, then he will do it to you, putting your hair up, painting your nails, and just having fun with you. Loki teaches you all about color coordinating and becoming a true fashion icon and he will be right by your side, holding you in his arms, wearing matching outfits as you both dazzle anyone who sees the two of you.

✨The Sherlock Holmes Museum✨

221B Baker Street, London

hi turtles! here it comes: the photo post to the sherlock holmes museum. i'll include my favorite pictures & the information i could actually keep in my silly brain (probably none). i'll number the pictures, so you can keep track.

please keep in mind that the place was pretty crowded and i couldn't take pictures of everything in perfect quality/from the perfect perspective.

the entrance (1) looks like this:

i especially loved the little blue sign (2) above and the "policeman" (3) dressed in a victorian policeman outfit - with a sherlock holmes tie 🥹 (i didn't get a picture of that, i thought it'd be weird to take a picture of him)

the living room (4).

there were two comfy looking armchairs, a fireplace (sadly without billy the skull 😔), and in the right corner you see the chemistry set of Holmes. with the violin right next to it.

in general, they tried to create the rooms exactly how Sir Arthur Conan Doyle described them in his books. it was described as small but with two big windows to the west side (was it west?? i can't remember...).

on the left you can see the desk (5), which i think was used by both: Holmes and Watson (not 100% sure about that tho). on the right you see what was hung up on the walls (6) (the guns lol).

on the opposite wall of the fireplace, you see the shooting marks (7), made by Holmes: the intials "VR" stand for "Victoria Regina" (= Queen Victoria) (Holmes' way to say "long live the queen" i guess? this man was fun when bored...)

and i took a picture of the "The Times" page (8) which laid on the desk because... apparently! i was in the musuem on the day Holmes and Watson moved in together (*johnlock heart explodes a little bit*) and you can see the date somewhere on there... (i found it. but i think she lied to us... imo it says july the 5th and i was there on august the 27th (*dramatic voice* UNbelievable! *excessive eye-roll*) (okay maybe i misunderstood her??? idk))

let's move on to Sherlock Holmes' bedroom.

on the bed were laying two boxes (9). one was with... idk random Holmes-stuff (honestly can't remember what she said to that...) and the second was with the iconic deerstalker inside. funfact about the deerstalker: ACD never mentioned this to be a signature feature of our beloved detective. this only became a thing later on. some dude, whose name i can't remember (i warned you about my silly brain), just decided he'll use that in a film production, because it would be much more accessible for the common folk. deerstalkers were mainly used by hunters and the working class. because Sherlock Holmes, who lived in a rather wealthy neighborhood, was a man of the upper class, he would have worn a different kind of hat (10).

Loki season 1 moments that live in my head rent free ✨

"This is FINE asgardian leather!!!" (e1)

I imagine that Loki, a fashion queen, really cares about their looks, and wouldn't let their outfits, conjured or not, carelessy touched like that. But they did conjure that outfit, right? So they must've really worked hard on it; Asgardian leather sounds precious, after all.

The whole "I don't enjoy hurting people" conversation. The "Because it's part of the illusion. It's the cruel, elaborate trick conjured by the weak to inspire fear." quote

Mobius giving (or trying to give) Loki back his daggers. Love is a dagger

Loki looking up in the sky for the storm in episode 2: The Variant , most probably being reminded of his brother Thor

I literally quote this out loud a few times a week, it's part of my personality.

"No one bad is ever truly bad, and no one good is ever truly good" also quote this almost daily, but in my head.

Casually stopping a building from falling using telekinesis!? We deserved to see more of his powers, like THAT'S just how powerful he is. Not just daggers (altough those are cool as well but...yk, not as efficient)

"You can be whatever, whoever you wanna be. Even someone good. I mean just in case anyone ever told you different"

need I comment? We get to see a character that pretends to be bad at their core being told he can just go and be the opposite - which is true!! they just needed the right support for that.

The introduction of Mobius. The first time we ever saw him was in sunlight; just like the last time...

The introduction of Sylvie. Setting things on fire, just the perfect visual for her character and actions for the rest of the season.

Loki trying to hit Miss Minutes with a magazine. The magazine being Mobius's jet ski one 🧡

"You're just a little pussycat" and "If looks could kill" from the first episode. My man was genuienly flirting ✨

" A bit of both" the only bisexual queen moment we actually got. The lighting here is interesting as well...a bit of pink, purple and blue. 😉

i LOVE nick and charlie’s relationship, i find nick’s struggle with his sexuality relatable, i loved s2 imogen and i cant wait to see more of her (i think she’s a lesbian tbh), most of all, i love the representation it brings to younger queer kids, the kind i didn’t have and wish i did.

Beauty is Where You Find It (Supermodel!Loki x Reader)

Summary: A journalist for a New York magazine in September of 2012, you come across the opportunity to do an interview from an icon in the fashion industry. Your subject? A rising supermodel from Wimbledon with icy blue eyes and jet-black curls named Loki Laufeyson.

Maybe there was someone else that your magazine could've assigned to do this interview. Maybe they could've chosen someone else to write about the rising, raven-haired model from Wimbledon. And maybe they could've chosen someone who was more seasoned with rubbing shoulders with people from the glamour world. But none of that mattered now, because you deserved this opportunity and you knew it.

Three days ago, during your lunch break - which was more for brainstorming than for eating - you were scrolling through some news stories from The Guardian and New York Magazine, hoping to find some inspiration for your writer's block. Between an article about the U.S. presidential elections and an article about genius-billionaire Tony Stark's Twitter battle with Elon Musk, there was a Magnum advertisement that immediately caught your attention.

Holding a pint of Magnum Milk Chocolate ice cream in his lap, the model wore nothing except for a pair of sweatpants as he spread himself across a leather sofa. One of his hands cupped the pint while the other hand clasped a golden spoon. His short jet black curls were tousled with just a hint of mousse to make them shine and his icy gaze was paired with a smirk that said, "I know you want me."

You didn't pay much attention to the ad, turning your focus to the next news story which was about London's finances after hosting the Olympics. But a while later you came across a story covering the best looks from London Fashion Week: Spring 2013. It had taken place a few days ago, between September 13 and September 18 of 2012, since this was the show that would predict many of the trends of Spring 2013. You recognized a few of the top brands such as Stella McCartney, Burberry, and Gucci. But none of the models were familiar to you…

and there he was again.

Modeling for Tommy Hilfiger's 2013 Spring-Summer collection was the same model who you saw posing with a pint of Magnum ice cream. The same dark curls, those same icy-blue eyes directed at the camera…this had to be him. He stood at the end of the catwalk wearing a black-and-white striped shirt, a white jacket with the Tommy Hilfiger logo, and straight-leg white pants that complemented his long legs.

Licking your lips, you scrolled down to the bottom of the image and found the name "Loki Laufeyson for Tommy Hilfiger Men's 2013 Spring Summer Collection". That was most certainly a name that you'd heard before…right? His first name was identical to the name of the Norse god of mischief - maybe he chose that name for himself when he started modeling? But why? Maybe there was more to him than just a pretty face.

"So why write about him?" Your editors asked when you brought up the idea of interviewing him. "He's just some model in London."

"Wimbledon," you corrected them. "I googled his name, he's from Wimbledon." You took a deep breath and continued. "I think there's something with him. I mean, there are models who go on to do other famous things. For example, Eddie Redmayne modeled for Burberry in 2008, he portrayed King Richard the Second in February, and now he's starring in an adaptation of the musical Les Mis. Also, I'm pretty sure he won a Tony for something on Broadway.

Please let me give this a chance. For all we know, he could be the next Eddie Redmayne. And we'll be the magazine that gave him his first interview."

Your editors agreed with mixed feelings, still unsure about what you found to be so special in him. But since you were so enthusiastic, and no other media outlet had taken the chance to interview him, your editors thought this might be something that would make the magazine stand out.

For the rest of the day, you were calling Tommy Hilfiger's office, London modeling agencies, and even Magnum's offices, introducing yourself as a journalist who wanted to get in touch with someone named Loki Laufeyson. After four hours, three candy bars, and two cups of French Vanilla coffee, you were able to secure an interview with Loki.

So here you were, after three days of brainstorming, making calls, and preparing questions, all set to meet the young model from Wimbledon. After downing a cup of coffee for courage, and then rising your teeth with mouthwash, you headed to a nearby room for the interview.

"Excellent work with the photos, I like what I'm seeing!" You pretended to be nonchalant as you walked in. Loki was posing before a flashing camera, wearing a black structured blazer, a cotton off-white shirt, and…tight leather pants. Wow, this guy seemed to have an innovative sense of style when he wasn't on the runway. And you would be lying if you said that he wasn't way more gorgeous in person than on the internet.

For the article that you would be writing about Loki, you had asked for some original pictures as artwork. So while the crew - lighting directors, photographers, and makeup artist - did their magic, you stood in a corner and took a moment to look over your questions.

"Wait," Loki gently interrupted the camera woman. "Erm, can I have one with her?" He gestured in your direction, "The lady who's interviewing me?"

"If she's okay with it." The camera woman turned to you and tilted her head towards Loki.

Caught off-guard, you hurriedly placed your materials on a stool and rushed to the center of the photoshoot. "Uh…okay, what should I…?"

"Something like this?" Loki draped his arm around your waist, and smirked at the camera. You gave your best smile, trying not to blush out of embarrassment or close your eyes when the flash went off. "Perfect," Loki cooed, standing close enough for you to catch a whiff of the perfume or cologne he was wearing - a mixture of orchid and champagne scents.

After the camera woman announced that it was a wrap, you picked up your materials and led Loki to a white table with two folded chairs. Loki pulled one of the chairs out and insisted you have a seat before him.

Once the two of you were comfortable, you took a deep breath and turned on the voice recorder.

"You probably weren't expecting to have your photo taken today, right?" Loki chuckled, "No worries, you looked great."

"Thank you," you nervously laughed. "You look incredibly gorgeous by the way. Who're you wearing today?"

"Ah, the famous question." Loki licked his lips and spread his legs. "The blazer is Armani, the pants are from Banana Republic, and the shirt is by Hanes."

"Nice. So…I know you've done a few advertisements and you've walked for Tommy Hilfiger at London Fashion Week not too long ago. According to my research, this isn't the first runway you've ever conquered. Would you tell me about how you entered the world of fashion?"

"I suppose it was the beauty of it all that attracted me," Loki answered. "Fashion is a form of art, and I'd say it's one of the greatest forms of art because it is such an essential part of our lives.

I started modeling when I was sixteen, it was for a fashion show at school to raise money for charity."

"Wow!" You gushed, leaning forward to show interest. "Did you make a lot of money?"

"The school made a lot of money," Loki playfully retorted. "It wasn't official like the shows I do now. Actually, as part of that event, my photographs came in the local newspaper. Few weeks later, I get a call from an agency and…like they say, the rest is history."

You laughed a little, scribbling some notes.

"So really, I owe my career to journalists like you." He jokes, giving you a little wink.

"Alright, so you started modeling at sixteen - was it full-time? How did you balance school around being a model?"

Loki gulped and tilted his head, thinking about how to formulate his answer. "I did some photoshoots here and there, mostly after school or early in the morning so I wouldn't have to miss my lessons. I enjoyed most of my classes, there was hardly a subject that I disliked."

"Did you have a favorite subject?"

"Literature," Loki promptly answered. "Physiology was a close second. I loved learning about how the human body worked."

"Literature, that's interesting. What did you like about that class?"

"I had a really great teacher. I enjoyed reading Shakespeare's plays, Jane Austen's novels such as Sense and Sensibility, and other classical works as well. I'll never forget the first time I read Beowulf, such an underrated gem."

"I didn't know you enjoyed literature." You crossed your legs. "Do you still make time to read now that you're a full-time model?"

"Of course I do. It's what keeps me…erm, sane." Loki admitted, "Right now, I'm reading a book called High-Rise by J.G. Ballard and it takes place in the 70s. It's about a newly-constructed high-rise building filled with every amenity you could think of, and its residents. It's almost like a utopia until class warfare changes everything."

"I've never heard about that book before. I'll have to check it out now." You scribbled some more notes, and then flipped to a new sheet of paper. "My next question for you is about your -"

"Diet?" Loki attempted to finish.

"No." You shook your head with a laugh. "I think that question gets asked to models way too often, but I'm happy to hear about your…dietary preferences."

Loki joined in the laughter for a moment. "I'd prefer not to talk about that either. Everyone is different, there really is no one way that guarantees…success."

"So, how would you describe yourself in five words?" You teased.

Biting his lip for a moment, Loki cheekily answered. "Loki, burdened with glorious purpose."

"Glorious purpose," you echoed. "And what does glorious purpose mean to you?"

"It means…" Loki openly contemplated. "It means that I was born to pave my own path to greatness."

"As a model?"

Loki shrugs. "I enjoy doing my work. I'm grateful to those whom I've worked with and I look forward to participating in more shows. But…I'm going to keep myself open to exploring other opportunities down the line in five or ten years."

You scribbled some more notes. "Maybe you'd consider acting?"

"Or world domination." Loki smirked. "But for the record, I would love the chance to do a Bollywood film. The ones I've seen are so beautiful."

"Alright, another question: your most guilty pleasure? Is it Bollywood?"

Loki scoffed. "None! I don't think people should feel guilty for the things they enjoy."

"Time for a bit of rapid fire." You curled your fingers around your pen. "I'll ask a series of questions, and you answer as fast as possible. Ready?"

"Ready." He smirked again.

You began, "Coffee or tea?"

"Tea."

"London or New York City?"

"London."

"London or Paris?"

"Still London." Loki shook his head and laughed.

"Tuxedos or sweatpants with hoodies?"

"Tuxedos."

"A night at the museum or a night at the theater?"

"The theater."

"Okay," you beamed, "Comedies or dramas?"

"Dramas."

"Juliet or Lady Macbeth?"

"You."

"What?" You swallowed, taken aback by his response. "Uh…?"

Loki clarified, "Juliet's a literal child, barely thirteen, and Lady Macbeth is ruthless and blind in her belief towards the prophecy. I wouldn't go out with either of them…was that the question you were asking?"

"Kind of…" You tried to explain. "I meant which one you liked better, but nice answer. I'm very flattered"

"Thanks. Any more questions?"

You shook your head. "Any questions for me?"

"Would you let me take you to dinner tonight?" Loki asked, leaning forward ever so slightly, the corner of his lip curved upward. "It's the least I can do since your magazine paid for my flight here."

"I'd…I'd like that, Mr. Laufeyson."

"It's Loki." The model took your hand and pressed his lips against your knuckles.

You both remained still, enjoying the moment as you silently looked into each other's eyes. "I'll have your article ready in two days. It'll be in our issue next week."

"Perfect." Loki and you stood up from the chairs. "And I will see you outside this building at seven."

Hi there! I'm Seiya, aka starsniper! Girl I have like an entire storyline here lmao, I have a lot of imagination…too bad I’m not a writer lol. I’m not a native speaker so I apologize in advance if something is written in the wrong way❤️.

So that was my idea for the Poseidon X Goddess! Reader:

I imagine her as a Norse goddess ( my favorite mythology) and this is kind of a crossover with marvel, but not really (everyone’s alive, but not mentioned and they live separately living each of them their own life, so no avengers, the members singularly exist but they are living at peace, just the occasionally battle, no war, no blip, no things like that, they are in the same universe but they don’t know each other tho) I hope this was clear 😫.

I imagine her as Thor and Loki’s younger sister (she is like 1000 years old or something)I don’t know what kind of goddess she could be, I was thinking love and war maybe, I love the goddess Freyja sooo…

I imagine her as the scarlet witch but with blue colors, even blue hair maybe lol, she is different from other gods and goddesses, maybe even considered weird from some of them.

They met when she was 800 or so, because before that olympians and asgardians did not like each other for centuries, so Loki, Thor and y/n have never seen Olympia.

Once Kronos dies, Zeus and Odin decide to make an agreement, both parties could live at peace without risking any war, a friendly pact.

Then they celebrate and everyone meet at Olympia, first meeting for y/n and Poseidon.

Y/n is a beautiful goddess, her blue hair are iconic and unique and she has the power of love and war, so I would say that everyone were watching her, some were envious, others jealous, someone was even afraid maybe, they don’t really know how her powers works, she is kind of strange with her blue hair.

But of course, Poseidon was very intrigued already. They all take a seat in this very long table, and while Poseidon was watching her, for the first time that night, she was staring back at him, she could feel that he was not judging her like everyone else was doing, so she smiled.

In the meantime I imagine the situation being a little bit chaotic of course, while y/n and Poseidon were just occasionally eying each other and EVERYONE could see that. Then they also dance together and talk a little (other gods were already feeling the sexual tension lmao😏) . From that moment, they of course are very interested in each other, and in many occasions they talk, they fight together, and one day they kiss.

He is the only one that believes in her powers and is not afraid of her strength (beyond her family and her people of course). He would definitely kneel for his woman and admit that she is more powerful than him any day.

But they can’t stay together, because yes to peace, no to relationships between olympians and asgardians (forbidden love trope 👀).

They keep their relationship hidden for a very long time (with her powers, they could keep the secret from Zeus, Hades knew but he was fine with it and never ever said anything, hades is a Poseidon and Y/n fan in this), but one day Olympia declares war to Asgard because the lightning bolt is stolen and y/n is the one being accused…but guess who was it actually ? Hermes, the motherfucker found out why y/n didn’t want him, at first he thought it was because of the rule but then he caught y/n and Poseidon in the lake and let’s say they were not swimming 👀…yes they were practicing so they could have Percy a century later lol ( I don’t know if you write smut, this scene would need al lot of spicy details)

So Hermes is the og Luke of course, the war doesn’t happen because they find the lighting bolt, everyone finds out about Poseidon and Y/n and another agreement is made, after a 100 or so peace, olympians and asgardians will never ever again have another interaction…

This was part 1, in the other Percy will be in it. I really hope you like it🦋🩵💙!

Since it seems that Egghead is coming to a close soon(ish?), I've been thinking about what themes from the arc might be able to clue us in to what's coming for Elbaf (and perhaps the rest of the Final Saga). Oda often uses a short arc to set up not just the plot, but also themes for the saga to come. My favorite example is Long Ring Long Land planting the seeds of "what if we lost a crew member" before Water 7 and Ennnies Lobby.

In addition, all of the post-timeskip arcs have had important parallel themes and often plot payoffs to pre-skip arcs. Fishman Island -> East Blue (specifically Arlong Park). Dressrossa -> Alabasta(warlord takeover) & Skypia(Noland & being forgotten). Whole Cake -> Water 7/Ennies Lobby. Wano -> Thriller Bark is the weakest, but all of the ideas of night and Luffy bringing the dawn is super prevalent, Moria is the first person to give us details about Kaido, and we meet Rayuma's zombie.

So following that parallel, the Final Saga parallels Summit War, which, duh. But still, maybe we can pull some information and thoughts other than that there will be a war at the end of it.

Looking at Egghead, there's a big theme of hidden identities. There's some of this with Kuma, but of course its most prevalent with the Vegapunks. Each of the satellites can be thought of as a "mask" of Vegapunk's, and Vegapunk himself is revealed to be an ally when we probably expected him to be antagonistic. There are traitors on both sides with Stussy and York.

This idea of identity is also closely tied to loyalty. Vegapunk's disloyalty to the World Government vs. Kizaru. Stussy vs. York. Kuma's (and the Pacifistas') loyalty towards Bonney. Off the island itself, you get Aikanu vs. Garp and their loyalties, as well as the idea of Sword as a special force within the Navy.

Looking at Marineford, we get a lot about sacrifice with Whitebeard, Oars, and Ace. This is tied to the pacing of the torch from the old era to the new, with Blackbeard sweeping in to claim the top spot from Whitebeard. We also get a ton about family, especially found family and Luffy's family with Garp and Ace (and Sabo). And, of course, there's the war.

So how might these themes and ideas play out in Elbaf?

Well with the themes of identities, we've been told the current prince of the Elbaf giants is named Loki, obviously named after the god of trickery and lies from Norse myth which the Elbaf giants are heavily inspired by. The only other thing we know about Prince Loki is that he fell in love with Charlotte Lola but she turned him down. The presence of Loki, combined with the theme of hidden identities tells me all is not as it seems on Elbaf. When we arrive, someone or someones are not going to be who they say they are. Most likely there will be something related to Loki himself, but there's another possibility.

This idea is not original to me, but besides Loki, who's the most iconic Norse god? Thor, the god of lightning. And which character we haven't seen in a while has the powers of lightning? Enel. We know he's coming back after his cover story on the moon. Perhaps rather than seeing his return, Enel will already be on Elbaf with an assumed identity, ready to wreck havoc once again.

But there are other very important characters on Elbaf, and the most significant one is, of course, Shanks. Assuming Oda doesn't go out of his way to save the reunion for Laughtale, its hard to see how Luffy and Shanks don't meet on Elbaf. Luffy has finally reached Shanks level by becoming a fellow Emperor, and so its time to return the straw hat as promised.

On the level of hidden identities, I don't subscribe to the evil!Shanks theories, but I definitely think we will learn a lot about him. I think Shanks definitely needs to become a much more complex and morally nuanced character. If Shanks is a Celestial Dragon by blood as many suspect, I think that would be a great stepping stone.

On the level of families, Shanks is Luffy's truest father figure, so much so that Luffy has barely given his biological father two thoughts. Given what we've learned about Vegapunk's connection to the Revolutionary Army, and that Saul has almost certainly taken the remnants of Ohara's research to Elbaf, my harebrained prediction is that Dragon and co will arrive on Elbaf as well. If Bonney & Kuma travel with the Strawhats and Nika for a while, that would give the RA even more reason to visit. My prediction is we get some juicy parallels between and completely new understandings of Luffy's two fathers, as well as continued development of the found family themes present throughout the entire story so far.

On the level of sacrifice, I'm really torn. Shanks has already sacrificed so much for Luffy. Having him make a full sacrifice either in Elbaf or soon after seems not exactly Oda's style. On the other hand, Shanks is the last original Emperor. If we're truly going to usher in a new era, can Shanks be there at the top? We've been preparing for a Blackbeard v. Shanks rematch since at least Marineford. Having that promise fulfilled here would be extra poetic. And having Teach take down Luffy's mentor would make him Luffy's greatest enemy in a way no other villain has been. Even if it's not Shanks, I'm convinced there will need a big sacrifice to finally pave the way for Luffy's new era of freedom.

There's so much more that could be said about all the story threads coming to a head at Elbaf. Obviously Usopp's storyline is coming to a head. He will definitely become a brave warrior of the sea, and perhaps supplant Prince Loki to finally become God Usopp. He will definitely lead an army of 80,000. Big Mom will probably return, or at the very least we will learn how she gained Mother Caramel's devil fruit powers - which will probably tell us how Blackbeard and co do it as well. Robin will find the final Road Poneglyph and probably the first big clues of the Void Century/Will of D. from the Ohara research. The Strawhat Grand Fleet will arrive, if not at Elbaf specifically definitely soon after - just as Whitebeard's allies came to Marineford.

(Oooo! just had a thought. Will the Strawhat fleet arrive from the sky instead of beneath the ocean? That would be heckin rad.)

It’s my birthday, Pride is half over, and the Sylki fandom is half dead.

Here’s a useless meta proving Sylvie and Loki are closer to an Andrew Garfield vs. Tom Holland Spider-Man situation than “GeNdErBeNt SeLFcEsT”

When Sylvie was introduced, all Loki variants presented so far resembled Tom Hiddleston. By episode five, we know the vast majority of Loki variants are not Tom Hiddleston clones, (like a Spider-Man, a Loki could be anybody,) so Sylvie likely isn’t his clone either. However, since they’re played by different actors, with vaguely similar facial features, it could still be argued that perhaps Loki and Sylvie are the same individual, just the “other sex.” (Insert iconic Loki eye roll). Today I’m demonstrating why that argument is stupid.

Skin ~ Loki’s skin tone is consistently cooler and paler than Sylvie’s, as demonstrated by earlier films. His skin is more neutral and saturated in the series, a decision by Tom Hiddleston to make Loki seem more alive and tangibly real. Still, his typical skin tone is best described as a creamy ghostly porcelain, whereas Sylvie’s is a light rosy beige. Sylvie has a rougher, less polished, more ‘human’ look, whereas sacred timeline Loki sometimes verges on the ethereal. These skin details suit their characters well.

Note: Sylvie’s skin seems slightly tanned in this image, while Loki looks as deathly pale as he did in the movies. Likely a difference in lighting, but I think it does a good job showing how different the two characters can look at a glance.

Hair ~ this is the strongest argument. Loki’s natural hair color is visibly darker and deeper than Sylvie’s natural hair color. Loki’s hair is raven black, and Sylvie’s hair is dark brown. Sylvie dyes her hair a muted ash blonde.

This hair color difference is suspiciously intentional, and even carries over from final concept art, official merch, and their child actors. Baby Sylvie’s hair is dark ash/golden brown in better lighting. Baby Loki’s hair is always raven black.

The two variants also have noticeably different hair textures. Loki’s natural curl pattern seems messier and tighter than Sylvie’s fluffy waves, even with too much greasy hair product.

Contrast ~ Sophia and Tom’s eyes are similar shades of blue. Less is certain about the in character eye colors of Loki and Sylvie. The fandom is not in agreement whether Loki’s (and Sylvie’s) eyes are blue or green, so I tend to compromise on blue-green. Tom’s eyes appear slightly lighter than Sophia’s, so I headcanon that Loki’s eyes are lighter than Sylvie’s too. Combined with their hair and skin tone differences, Sylvie has a lower, softer, more muted contrast between her hair, skin, and eyes, compared to Loki, with their higher, clearer and more striking contrast.

Color Season Analysis ~ Going off of that, and taking this next part with a grain of salt, as I am in no way an expert on color analysis, I would guess Loki is a winter, and Sylvie is a summer. Sylvie could be a spring, but from what I’ve seen, her hair is more ashen than yellow, and it makes sense Sylvie would lean cooler then warmer since she, as a former Loki variant, is a frost giant.

Summers typically look best in sunny pastel colors, whereas Winters look best in jewel tones. Sure enough, when Loki and Sylvie venture outside their classic green, black, and gold, the costume department decided to dress Loki in deep jewel tones such as blue and purple (the guard turtleneck, some of their costumes in Ragnarok.)

Another costume department chose to put Sylvie in subtle pastels (her tie die shirt.)

Typically, cool seasons look better in silver (grey) than than gold (yellow). Coincidentally, Loki and Sylvie are both wearing gray in the pictures above. Obviously, Lokis are to gold as goths are to black. However, few people fit a color season perfectly (I’m ironically a winter in the winter and a summer in the summer,) Sylvie and Loki have fairly neutral pigmentation, and saying a Loki wouldn’t look good in gold is blasphemy.

In Summary ~ Sylki are not genderbent clones, they’re not identical twins, and though it’s near certain they don’t share much dna at all, because this is not Game of Thrones, the closest they could physically be is full siblings, and while it would be questionable, your siblings aren’t you, so it wouldn’t be selfcest.

If the multiverse was a cinematic universe, Loki and Sylvie would be two different actors playing two different adaptations of the same character by two different studios, at most. Loki and Sylvie have different personalities, different experiences, different bodies, and different lives. Honestly, they’ve lived such different lives, with Sylvie breaking away from her sacred timeline and Loki identity so young that she’s a different gender and mostly based on Sylvie Lushton, that they are possibly less the same character than any of the Spider Men variants, from Spiderverse through MCU. Likely, all the two share is a mind, heart, and soul. To me, that’s beautiful.

Persona Characters Ranked by How Many Mechs Songs Feature Their Personas

First, let's get things straight. The Mechanisms were a band made up of immortal space pirates that traveled through space and told stories about what they saw through song. They have four albums that tell stories throughout the albums-- Once Upon a Time in Space (fairy tales, in space), Ulysses Dies at Dawn (noir greek myths, in space), High Noon Over Camelot (cowboy arthurian legend, in space) and The Bifrost Incident (cosmic horror norse mythology, in space), and two albums (Tales to be Told vol. 1 & 2) that are miscellaneous songs/stories.

off we go. I asked my friend for his opinions on this, so it's not ONLY my opinions, but all of these are subjective opinions on what songs i like best

10. Yuka Ayase- Freyj Freyj and his sister Freyja are mentioned in the Bifrost Incident, but they don't get any actual singing parts

9. Sumire Yoshizawa- Cendrillion, Vanadis, Ella Freyja (Vanadis) is, as mentioned, mentioned in the Bifrost Incident. Cinder's Song from Once Upon a Time in Space is a song that is dear to me, but I will admit that the Mechs' albums get better as they go on, and Once Upon a Time in Space is their first.

8. Aigis- Pallas Athena Twisted Threads from Tales to be Told Volume II takes place in the same world/storyline as Ulysses Dies at Dawn, and is an absolute banger. However, other songs on this list bang harder (in my opinion), and the song is mainly about Arachne, though Athena features

7. Labrys- Ariadne Ties that Bind from Ulysses Dies at Dawn slaps, both Ariadne & Athena are sung by Raphaella la Cognizi/Rachel L. Hughes, & her singing is off the charts awesome & adds wonderfully to the jazzy noir vibe of Ulysses Dies at Dawn

6. Persona 3 Protagonist- Orpheus Trial by Song from Ulysses Dies At Dawn is honestly tied with Ties that Bind, but i like it slightly better and this is my list.

5. Eikichi Mishina- Hades Underworld Blues is the best song in Ulysses Dies at Dawn it slaps, and also the character of Hades is awesome.

4. Futaba Sakura- Prometheus Prometheus from Tales to be Told (also taking place in Ulysses Dies at Dawn world. this album features the most because of persona's love of greek myths) is iconic, so is the space jam mashup. Massive bonus points for Prometheus being a hacker. [Prometheus the hero who let us hold off the horde//Prometheus who proved the keyboard's mightier than the sword]

3. Baofu- Odysseus, Prometheus As mentioned Prometheus is a good song. My friend ranked this one lower in protest against Johnny Sims's attempt at an american accent. The entire album Ulysses Dies at Dawn is about Ulysses (roman name for Odysseus), but he features most heavily in Broken Horses, My Name is No-One, and Elysian Fields. Personally I don't like any one of these songs as much as the previously listed songs, but Baofu gets points for having an entire Album.

2. Takuto Maruki- Azathoth I am not going to tell you anything about Red Signal (the Bifrost Incident). I am only going to tell you to listen to it. Anyways. Azathoth is also technically a major.... character? in the Bifrost Incident, which is imo (and afaik most would agree with me) the Mechs' best album, so that's worth some points.

Goro Akechi- Loki, Hereward Loki is one of the main characters of the Bifrost Incident, and she gets parts in multiple songs, mainly the one named after her, and it slaps verily, it's one of the Mechs' best songs, in their best album Hereward the Wake (Tales to be Told Volume II) is one of my favorite Mechs songs and also the reason I made this list, because it's the only reason I knew about Hereward the Wake before playing persona 5. So Akechi wins this list because i am a) extremely biased, i will admit and b) he's the only character who has two personas with entire songs, and they both happen to be some of the bangingest mechs songs
