I knew you were joking, but if I'm being honest, I get the vibes too, BUT I'm also always told that people think that I'm gay and I'm like *bitch where 😀* and I have a venus in virgo and Mars in scorpio (opposite of hongjoong) so I wondered if it had something to do with that??

To comment on your placements, Mars in Scorpio might lead you to giving off masculine ~energy~ if it's in your 1st house, ruling a Sun in Scorpio, or combined with a stellium of Scorpio placements. But even Scorpio is a water sign, and doesn't necessarily scream "Rawr, I am man". For example of this, Katy Perry: Sun, Moon, Mercury, Saturn, and Rising in Scorpio. Yet her image is very hyper-feminine to the point of camp.

Venus in Virgo, while being a Mercurial sign, is actually the more feminine of the signs ruled by Mercury, Gemini being considered the more masculine. The demo breakdown for Black Adam is wild. It's sixty-seven million opening is middling in the face of expectations but how it even got that much, is hilarious. Nearly sixty percent of that audience was black and brown people. a whole third of that audience was just black folks, alone. I mean, of course it would be. Mans got "Black" in his name and is played by The Rock. Nah, what's surprising is the fact that, like, twenty-something percent of the audience was white. I say that because it's white boys always complaining about "wokeness" and "forced diversity". Well, by their own admission, none of that was even IN Black Adam and they STILL didn't show up! In order for a movie to be a proper blockbuster, to do MCU numbers, the white audience should be the top demo of any film. Jut based on population numbers, in order for a film like this to be healthy, white people need to make up forty percent of that audience. They showed up to Black Adam at a twenty-five percent rate. All that sh*t they talk about identity politics or whatever and they didn’t even support a film that was, by their own admission, devoid of that stuff. So what's that tell you? It was never about wokeness.

It was never about identity politics. It was never about agendas, race bending, or gender bending. It's always been about white boys seeing less of themselves in media, and getting caught up in their feelings about it. There’s been a pivot in Hollywood to b more inclusive as to what they present in their films. They ant to reflect the world at large, not just what is seen in, like, rural Idaho. Superman isn’t just for America, bud. Dude is a worldwide icon and there are people other than Caucasians in the world. Marvel has a decent understanding of that and you see them trying to adapt to that new social perspective and they’re getting trounced for it. Nothing in Phase Four is terrible, maybe Eternals, but everything has a lot of different “color” to it. Lots of female energy. Lots of diversity. Lots of realistic takes on the greater world of the MCU. There are more than just three black people in the world. There’s a prominent Muslim character now. Shang-Chi is a much better take on a martial arts hero rather than Iron Fist. Everything about Moon Knight was incredible. Nothing was as pedestrian or superficial as Black Adam. there was opportunity, sure, but that was slighted in favor of the “safe” take and these assholes who decry a far more realistic snapshot of the world as a whole in their cinema, still didn’t support the sh*t. I'm no fan of what KK is doing to Star Wars but you're an idiot if you don't understand that the force has always been female. Ahsoka Tano. Mara Jade Skywalker. F*cking Leia Organa. Hell, Leia is the archetype of how to write a strong female character without losing that femininity in the process. Kennedy is definitely injecting her bitterness into these new female characters, for sure, and hate them for that, but to be upset that there are so many women in a franchise that has, historically, championed women, is dumb. She-Hulk isn't misandrist slander, it's playful satire of those very vocal, very neckbeard-y, “fans” who refuse to see reason about their comic book and space wizard movies. Seriously, after that show ended, the head writer came out and said the entire series was an exercise in trolling the trolls, which re-contextualized the entire viewing experience for me. That show went from mid and fun to top tier sh*tposting, bait in a matter of seconds. And these assholes took that bait with fervor, only to “reee” something fierce, after Gao exposed her intent after the fact. These are the people who championed Black Adam. These are the same people who jacked that Audience score “to the moon” on RT. The failure of this, very specific, very vocal, crowd showing up to support what they tout as "the best capeflick of the year", proves that it was never about wokeness. Prominent Lilith…

in a chart  can be found in people who work in areas like defending the rights of women, refugees, the under-privileged; in international law, in war zones, in women’s refuges. These individuals are gutsy advocates, activists... typically the people who experience the darker side of humanity and as a result, know the truth about it. The truth the general population would like to sweep under the rug. You’ll see this feminine energy surrounding the dishonored, rejected and abused. Chapter Fourteen: Nightmare

Alfie bolted awake in bed late one night. His heart was pounding in his chest and he could feel that a thin layer of perspiration now covered his body. For a moment, his brain flashed back to a time when he had been single and alone, so when a soft hand touched his shoulder he jerked around in surprise.

“What’s the matter?” Eliana asked, her voice heavy from sleep.

Alfie took a deep breath and placed his hand on top of hers.

“Nothing, El. Go back to sleep,” he said.

Their bedroom was dark, but the pale light from the moon outside filtered in, outlining the window with a silvery glow. Alfie rested his elbows on his knees and rubbed his face. Eliana got up out of bed and disappeared down the hallway, then reemerged with a towel. She settled down behind him on her knees and gently patted the sweat from his neck, shoulders and back. Once she was done she leaned over and placed the towel on his nightstand. She wrapped her arms around him and rested her head on his back.

“You dreamt of the war again?” she asked.

“Nah, shit I’ve done here,” Alfie replied.

He paused a moment before saying. “I’m a bad man, Elly. I’m not a good role model for the boys.”

Eliana’s closeness was helping soothe him, her soft breathing against his back helped regulate his heart rate. Upon hearing her husband tell her he thought he was a bad man, she squeezed him tight.

“Alfie, the world is not black and white. There is a heavy gray area that human beings are uncomfortable with acknowledging. Nothing is certain, nothing is constant. But we still have to try for goodness. And you, my husband, do have goodness in you.”

“You think so?”

“I know so. You’ve done things to survive and you’ve done things to establish power. You came from practically nothing, but built yourself up. You are a good husband, a good father, and you’ve done so much for the Jewish community.”

Eliana removed her arms from him and edged around to face him. She was going to just position herself in front of him, but he took her in his arms and put her sideways in his lap. He nestled his head on her chest and she stroked his hair. Her feminine energy and her calm demeanor brought him further peace.

Alfie always thought she was the stronger of the two of them. He’d seen her cry only a handful of times in the nine years they had been married. And at least two of those times was because a family member had died.

He knew he could trust her completely, the woman was a steel trap. If he told her a secret it never left her lips. The only thing he wished he could have from her was to know about her past. But she never spoke of it. He only knew her mother died when she was young and she was pretty much raised as a boy.

Her family consisted of her father and three brothers so they didn’t know how to raise a girl. A few times Alfie was able to get some information from her brother, Dov. Eliana and her brothers had been part of a Jewish rebel group that fought against the Soviet Government. He knew she had shot and killed Soviets only because Dov spoke of a few stories for him when Dov was drunk.

And in all honesty, Alfie was a little jealous of Eliana. She had a loving father and supportive brothers. He’d wished his father had been more present or had actually given a damn. He had no siblings that he could turn to either. He had always wanted brothers and in the same envious notion, he was jealous of Thomas Shelby for that too.

“I fuckin’ love you, El.” he mumbled in her chest.

“I love you too, Alfie,” she said.

The door to their bedroom eased opened and two little pale faces peered inside.

“Mama? We heard a shout…is there a ghost in the house?” Daniel asked.

Eliana patted the mattress and the twins ran over and jumped up on the bed with their parents.

“Sorry, my sons. Papa had a bad dream, afraid that was me, not a ghost.” Alfie said.

“Awwww, I wanted a ghost to be in the house,” Ezekiel whined.

Alfie chuckled. His sons were his pride and joy. Although they had Eliana’s dark blonde hair, they very much were beginning to look more and more like Alfie as they grew up. Alfie loved both of his sons dearly, but he could already see that Ezekiel would be mentally strong and a force to reckon with. While Daniel was more emotional and could be sensitive at times. He worried that while Ezekiel would take to the family business rather well, Daniel might struggle with the brutality side of the business.

Eliana had shifted from Alfie’s lap to the bed and now held Ezekiel in her lap. Ezekiel was pretty independent, but he was still a Mama’s boy. While Daniel nestled up to Alfie, he was a Papa’s boy indeed. Alfie wrapped his arm around Daniel and with the other ruffled his son’s hair.

“You ain’t afraid of a ghost are ya?” He teased Daniel.

“No…no, I’m not!” Daniel protested.

But his tiny, shaky voice said otherwise.

“I’m not Papa! Besides, the ghost was just you. We aren’t afraid of you!” Ezekiel said.

As Ezekiel said this, Daniel wrapped his father in a big hug. A combination of Ezekiel’s kind words and Daniel’s loving hug pulled at Alfie's heart strings and his eyes began to tear up. Eliana could see this, but the boy's eyes were closed as they rested with their parents. She reached out her hand and stroked her husband’s cheek.

“You see, you do have goodness in you.”

Sailor Moon 90s Anime is STILL the best

Hi. I know I am on a Sailor Moon binge here, but after seeing all of Crystal, Eternal and on R (season 2) of the first anime, I want to get this all off of my chest... and before I go further, since these are all animes, I will refer to them as 90s, Crystal and Eternal. And after watching them all, I have to say that the 90s takes the gold medal as the best Sailor Moon anime so far and this is why;

1- It had the best pacing. - While I admit that sometimes, it went too far with the filler, 98% of the time, it worked with the 90s. It took its time to make you get to know the characters for better or for worse, it made you see different sides of them, it gave them a chance to truly develop and be multi-dimensional, and it made you care about them. When a death happened, it felt tragic. When a victory happened, you cheered. And when you saw what side characters did, it mattered. I mean, who can ever forget the contribution 90s Naru Osaka had to the story? And everyone who has seen the 90s anime cannot forget her. More on the character development and getting to know characters later.

Sure, it wasn’t true to the manga and even the characters had different personalities, but I let that slide by because when Crystal and Eternal did follow the manga to the letter, we didn’t get a chance to digest anything. The only characters who develop are Usagi, Chibi-Usa and the outer guardians, and for the last bunch, it was the bare minimum. Crystal and Eternal were fun rides and I would be lying if I said I didn’t like them, but they were like roller coasters. They gave you a thrill, but fast and been done. The 90s was like a slow scenic ride that gave you surprises, emotionally touched you, made you cry, made you laugh, made you root for the heroes and even at the age of 37 years now, I keep rewatching this series.

2- The art of the 90s was better because it was sketchy, dark and edgier. - I know Sailor Moon doesn’t seem like this on the surface because the heroines are lovely girls in cute costumes, it emphasizes femininity and all things pretty, it has a romantic theme and is all about love, but Sailor Moon is also one of the darkest, grittiest, edgy and violent magical girl animes I have ever seen since Magic Knights Rayearth. Sailor Moon has on screen deaths which were permanent most of the time, on screen stabbings and the drawing of blood, and fights that got so hardcore, that real punches and kicks were thrown. The dark edges, black line art and sharp edges worked with the atmosphere of the story. I mean, look at the difference between the halls Dark Kingdom of the 90s (above) and that of Crystal.

And if that is not enough to win you over, the characters were much more animated, organic and conveyed more emotion whether they were exaggerated or serious.

In Crystal, the expressions and body language was very dulled down. Not to mention, very stiff.

Everything is also too bright and soft which makes the characters look like velvet dolls with too much make up especially with the line art. I will give them props for adding better details, cleaner lines, the glow of magical items, and details in the gems, but everything else is all wrong.

Eternal was better, but still not quite there. The colours are still way too bright and the characters still look too much like dolls from having line art that is too wispy. And I really do not like how the eyes have this unnatural glow to them. The edgy scenes become lost with all this brightness.

3- We got to see that there was so much more the characters than just heroes or villains. - Since Usagi is the titular character, let us just talk about her in the 90s since I could go on forever about how much we learned about the characters. In any version of Sailor Moon, Usagi’s role as a Sailor Guardian has always been the core of the story and she does indeed show progress as one. However, the 90s tells us that no matter what, she is still going to be herself too which is just as important and she shows character development as just plain old Usagi too. The manga, Crystal and Eternal which only paint Usagi as not doing anything right except be a Sailor Guardian, but the 90s show her hidden talents and learning new skills. For example, she was bad at cooking at the beginning of the series.

However, by Sailor Moon R, she gets the hang of it and is able to cook a meal by herself. Yes, she is messy, clumsy, never gets the hang of making cookies and is nowhere near Makoto’s level especially when it comes to presentation, but she is good at cooking food.

Another hidden talent of Usagi’s is her drawing skills. She isn’t just good at drawing. She’s got talent at it, so in the 90s, Usagi is quite the artist.

And it is admirable that 90s Usagi is open to trying new things even if she isn’t good at them. She practices, she explores and tries to enlighten herself. Sure, academics, coordination and organization will never be her fortes, but she really does have other and tries to discover more.

In Crystal and Eternal, she is good at being Sailor Moon, she is a good friend and a good girlfriend, but that is it. She is one dimensional here and she isn’t the only one to painted like that. Everyone is only the obvious and that is all the audience gets.

4- Better character redemption. - I mentioned before that Sailor Moon had grit and was dark, but the 90s also made it more complex and did character redemption right. It was open to the possibility of bad people becoming good. For instance, the Black Moon Clan Specter Sister are unforgettable for being successfully redeemed.

Yes, I admit that the monster of the day would get killed by the hands of the Sailor Guardians, but they also clearly showed that the monsters were not people or even alive. They were made of energy, clay or sand. When the monster of the day was a possessed innocent, they were saved through exorcism. Very rarely was an actual person ever killed and even when they were, it was either by the hands of another villain, their own hand, self defense or as a last resort. They never used killing as means of dealing with every single bad guy.

Furthermore, the bridge arc about the Makai Tree that also served as a prologue to Sailor Moon R could be seen as a story about mercy, kindness and love. It stands out as the one time the big bad was actually a misunderstood big good being the Makai Tree herself. And even Ail an An were never bad, but were raised bad. And even then, they changed. This story is unique only to the 90s so far, but it was great and stood out for that reason.

In Crystal, the heroines will kill a person without a second thought which I am shocked that no one brings up how repetitive and contradictory that is. The pretty warrior of love and justice should by all means protect the Earth, but doing so by killing off the bad guy all time is not love or justice. I also think the caption in this picture sums up how I feel about how the one and only time bad guys were given a chance to be redeemed...

Eternal was better because the Asteroid Guardians got redeemed and saved. However, even then, I feel like there is still a double standard. They were one of the good guys to begin with and Sailor Guardians. In the 90s, the Amazoness Quartet wasn’t, but were given a chance to change anyway. I find it cool that the Quartet turned out to be Sailors and even better that they will go on to become Chibi-Usa’s team, but mercy is not just for your allies or for your own benefit. Everyone should be given at least one chance to fix their mistakes.

5- We got to know Mamoru better. - I admit that no matter the incarnation, Tuxedo Mask will never be as powerful as Sailor Moon except when he is King Endymion, but the 90s take on his character made him better even if they did omit his super attack being Tuxedo le Smoking Bomber. What the well dressed masked man lacked in firepower, he made up for in intelligence, insight about the enemy’s weakness, courage and skill. The only times he ever did get overpowered was either by bad luck or because it was intentional because he was taking a hit for Sailor Moon. And even then, he always got back up. He’s a real man like that.

More importantly, we get to know him as Mamoru too. Even before he confides being an amnesiac to Usagi, we see his struggles with feeling alone in the world from having no memory of his life before a tragic accident which also killed his parents. Now, him being a stern cynical person makes sense because I probably wouldn’t be pleasant to be around either if I lived with that. Once his walls come down, we see that deep down, all he wants is to belong somewhere and have a family. It should also be noted that 90s Mamoru doesn’t love Usagi because he is “destined” to. He loves her because he wants to. Even during that brief period where he broke up with Usagi was an act of love. The thing I also always liked best about 90s Mamoru is that even though he loves Usagi more than life itself, his life doesn’t revolve around her which is a healthy thing and he tries to encourage Usagi to be the same way for her own good. He is studying to be a doctor, he has a job and he even has his own crowd which I think is great.

In Crystal and Eternal, while I do see an attempt at trying to follow this trend by showing that Usagi and Mamoru were on their way to falling in love even before they got their memories back, I still find he was one note and we never really learn much about him that has nothing to do with Tuxedo Mask, Endymion or anything royal related. Sure, we know that he’s studying to be a doctor and is a genius to an extent too, but that is it.

I would like to end this by admitting that the 90s was not perfect either, but out of all the takes on the tale of Sailor Moon as of date. Crystal and Eternal were ok, but they just cannot stand up to the quality of the 90s. The only thing I can say I find Crystal did better than the 90s were the costume designs. Specifically, how they let Venus keep her chain belt, Pluto’s key chain belt, Uranus and Neptune’s shorter gloves, Uranus’s sword, Uranus having two earrings, Mercury’s suit is shoulder less which I always found suited her better, and I liked Sailor Moon’s brooch and necklace better in season 1.

And even then, I should have liked it if Jupiter’s antenna was always on display as it is just something I always found cute in the manga, I liked Mars’ five point star earrings better in the 90s, and I like how in the 90s, each of the Inner Guardians’ sailor stripes were a little different.

A Overview of the History of Witchcraft and Wicca

While trying to determine Wicca's origins may be difficult, it is much easier that figuring out when or even where Witchcraft stared. Some say that witchcraft has been around since the beginning of man, with the

earliest recorded record of a witch was in the Bible, 1 Samuel, who was believed to be written between 931 BC and 721 BC. The word "witchcraft" comes from Old English word "wiccecraeft" with wicce meaning someone who practice sorcery or magick and creaft meaning a type of craft or skill. Other European languages have words with similar meanings; like sorcellerie in French, hexerei in German, stregoneria in Italian, and brujeria in Spanish. Despite these words being lumped together because of a common meaning, none of them translate the same or have the same connotations.

Many people will question if witches are real or not. Well, are they? I guess it depends on the definition used for the word. If you are referring to the witches you see in movies, books, video games, and other entertainment media, then no, those kinds of witches, unfortunately, do not exist. Now, if you are referring to the wise women and men, or the medicine men/women from ancient civilizations that worked with certain energies, or magick, for healing, divination, and other purposes, then yes, those kinds of witches do exist. Practitioners of the old ways worked with the moon, deities, herbs, animals, and practiced many forms divination and healing.

Then, the European Witch Trials happened from the 14th to 18th centuries. Some small groups still retained their old religions and practices today, but most of it has been lost, wiped away by the introduction of Christianity, much like it has done with other practices and cultures they did not agree or understand with. I know that may have upset some people, but it is the truth, and I am only saying this for education purposes. Most of the facts of what we know from the European Witch Trials are common misconceptions. Millions of people were not executed like many believe, the most that were accused of witchcraft and then executed for it was around 80,000. Around 80% of those executed were women and most of them were not actually witches. Women, and sometimes men, that did not confirm to their society’s standards were often the ones accused. Most of the recorded confessions of "consorting with the devil" and "performing black magick" happened while being tortured. The presence of "witch doctors" during this time is also highly exaggerated since any type of magick, even the helpful kind that helped those "affected by witchcraft" was still looked at as bad or evil. One of the main starting points of the European Witch Trials was due to the publication of "Malleus Maleficarum," or "The Hammer of Witches." This book was written by two German Dominicans in 1486. It called witchcraft "heresy" and was essentially a guide to help people identify, hunt, and interrogate a witch. This book went "viral" throughout Europe, and it eventually became the basis for both Christians and Protestants that had "Witch problems" in their community.

The New World started to be colonized in 1565 and Witches were said to arrive with the other Protestants. There were witch hunts all throughout the colonies but the most well-known one is, of course, the Salem Witch Trials. The Salem Witch Trials took place in 1692 and was point when witch hysteria in Europe started to die down, but also increase in the colonies. Young girls and women

started to suffer from fits, body contortions, and incontrollable screaming which is now believed to be caused by a fungus that causes spasms and delusions. This of course had to be the work of witches and by the end of the trials 150 people were accused of witchcraft and 18, 6 of which were men, were executed for their "heinous acts." In 1730, Benjamin Franklin wrote an article that was published in the Pennsylvania Gazette. In it, it said that the witchcraft accusations were basically ridiculous. Soon after, the witch mania died down and laws were eventually passed to help protect those of being wrongly accused.

In 1952, a book was published by Margert Murray called "The Witch Cult in Western Europe." While many do not believe her claims, they are what most of Modern Wiccan and Neo-Paganism is based off and as such she is called the grandmother of Modern Wicca. In this book, she claims that Witchcraft was a universal and organized religion is pre-Christian Europe that came from a race of small people, called Fairies, in early Britian. These ancient witches worshipped a Moon Goddess and a Horned Good. The Moon Goddess was named Diana, the Queen of Witches, and Murray called this religion the Dianic Cult. While it is named after the female aspect, this religion was a dominated by the male deity and this, combined with a horned God, Christians would claim it was their Satan, hence the accusations of "devil worship." The witches of this religion celebrated sabbats and esbats, worked with the earth, and would organize themselves into covens of 13.

Most of the claims are a part of most modern Pagan and Wiccan practice but most traditions of Wicca can also be traced back to Gardnerian Wicca. Gardnerian Wicca was developed by Gerald Gardner and based off Allister Crowley's teachings and practices. In 1914, Allister had proposed a new religion in 1914 that would pull aspects from old pagan traditions, such as worshipping the earth and nature, and celebrating the solstices and equinoxes. Wicca is a modern-day, nature based pagan religion with rituals and practices vary from different people, covens, and traditions. While there is difference between most Pagan and Wiccan traditions, most observe the Witches Sabbats, are ditheistic meaning they have 2 deities, normally a god and goddess (Moon Goddess and Horned God), and they also work with nature. The God and goddess represent the balance of feminine and masculine, light and dark in the world. Most traditions also follow an ethical code that is some variation or like the Wiccan Rede's, "as it harms none, do as ye will." Some other common practices and beliefs in most traditions are reincarnation and karma, some type of spiritual or energy healing, and self-help practices. Witchcraft, whether practiced by a pagan or a more specific tradition like Wicca, is considered a modern interpretation of pre-Christian traditions and some traditions claim their practices are from the Old Craft, or Old Way.

Wicca and Paganism was introduced in Britian in the 60's and started to spread to other European Countries and America in the 70's. When it hit America, it eventually went from a magic-based pagan discipline to a nature-based spiritual movement with environmentalism and feminism, which in turn, ended up influencing Wicca in England. The feministic tones started to increase in the late 70's and 80's with the emergence of Dianic Wicca, a tradition of matriarchal lunar worship. Wicca eventually became an official religion in the U.S, in 1986 in the Dettmer v. Landon case.

Witchcraft is portrayed as an evil and mythical practice and people often think of witches as villains. While it is hard to pin-point the origins of old pagan religions, it is even harder figuring out Witchcraft’s origins. Wicca's emergence has changed some people’s perceptions of witches and witchcraft and men can also identify as witches now. It has always been seen as a blasphemous practice full of devil worship, but Wicca is also still a new concept for many people, and many other still do not know of its existence. I truly feel that it is important that everyone knows what being a witch means, regardless of if they practice the craft or not. People will look at Witchcraft in a more positive viewpoint if they understand it and that is what I want to achieve with writing these blogs. While I do want to create a community for Witches, Wiccan, and Pagans to connect, I also want to shed light on our practices and help end the stigma.

Hi, I was going to ask about the Ceres signs of BTS. I read such an article on the Internet. "In the Male Charts, Ceres can also be taken as a mate indicator. Because Juno in the male chart shows the people with whom he will do business mostly. Ceres acts as Juno in the female chart. In particular, the conjunction of the man's Ceres and the woman's Venus and Moon are very positive. Ceres also signifies a man's tender, caregiving side and how this part of his nature finds expression."

Accordingly, can you briefly give information about the future wives of BTS according to the Ceres sign? What do you think about this? And how do they express their compassionate side?

I know this was asked out of sheer curiosity so don’t take what I say in a defensive way, it’s merely educational as most things are on here.

Firstly OMG ASTEROIDS I LOVE THEM.

Second, I find it compulsory to say: astrology is a mere blueprint of our lives and while most of it proves to be true (for reasons we may or may not touch in another post) it is merely one small part of the many that make us well- us. Also, astrology is always meant to be seen as a whole of interacting planets and asteroids rather than its components when we are looking for accuracy however, it is certainly fun and still sort of accurate to look at it when taken apart.

Now, Ceres is indeed an astrological body that can help us identify partners (kind of, I’d consider it a stretch and you’ll see why in a sec) however, as social dynamics change and honestly, astrology stays the same (which is not inherently a bad thing) we can’t really tell for sure if it talks about a serious relationship a short term one or a traditional one etc and neither does it tells us a thing about the partner of the person whose Ceres we are analysing since it’s not theirs, take it more as a “the partner that would serve as a needed cataclysm for x person to develop in their needed ways”

As I’ve said before, astrology hasn’t changed to the same pace as us humans have and Ceres is a particularly special example of it, since theoretically, it is looked as ‘how a person is able to show their feminine energy (since it’s seen as Mother Earth) and thus when talking about male energy’s ceres it indicates the attraction to their partner/their partner’ (something similar happens with Lilith) but it’s very much open to interpretation and how it works alongside other astronomical bodies in a person’s chart.

From experience, Ceres can settle more on the mental health side (it’s one of the main astrology aspects I touch on when giving spiritual healing companionship) while for traditional/committed partnerships we would be looking at Juno (with the same reservations of it belonging to the needs of the person that is being analysed and not particularly letting us through to “see” a thing about the partner) and even then, Eros could also have a part in letting us discover a thing or two when it comes to romantic life.

I don’t particularly like dwelling into love astrology from celebrities (although it’s my forte) bc well- love is meant to be a personal journey whatever form it presents in and looking for too many details is really no one’s business buttt since we would be looking at it separately and kind of superficially- we might get an Eros or Juno analysis for the members when I’m free from birthday projects and/or other stuff.

Queer Theory Song Analysis: 'Tim McGraw' by Taylor Swift

[Verse 1]

He said the way my blue eyes shined

Put those Georgia stars to shame that night

I said, "That's a lie"

Just a boy in a Chevy truck

That had a tendency of gettin' stuck

On backroads at night

And I was right there beside him all summer long

And then the time we woke up to find that summer gone

Since her first single, Taylor has always shown us her world through the queer female gaze. Even when she is describing herself, she writes women in much more vivid detail than she writes her male characters. In Taylor’s sparkling blue eyes, we can see the infinite possibilities of first love. In her voice, we get a sense of her personality – witty, sarcastic, wise beyond her years, sardonic, maybe a little insecure.

The other person, in contrast, who she characterizes as ‘just a boy’, has even less agency than a broken-down truck. The truck, which gets a personality and a brand name, is something we can picture; the boy, however, is notably absent from the verse.

It is worth noting that this song is entirely existing in the head of the narrator, and therefore the truth of most of this narrative cannot be independently confirmed; in fact, the only think we know to be true is that the narrator said out loud “That’s a lie.” We will come back to this later.

Taylor will often use male placeholders for female-centric experiences. It is interesting that Tim McGraw does not invoke in Taylor any visions or memories of a male lover. What we see, instead, are snapshots of a woman – in a little black dress, in faded blue jeans – and symbolic representations of womanhood – the moon and water are associated with femininity, fertility and female energy.

Also notable here is Taylor’s pronoun usage, and the way she will purposefully muddy the picture that she painted for us. We see the female narrator in blue jeans; but the boy we were introduced to in the first verse is notably absent. Instead, we are given one old character (“I”; the narrator), and one new character (“you”). Though it is possible to infer that the “you” from the chorus and the “he” from the first verse are the same person, the text is not explicit about this. Rather, it obfuscates, changing the point of view. The narrator is no longer describing someone; she is now in dialogue with them.

We are again missing any glimpse of a male lover. Instead, we are given imagery of the narrator’s blue jeans, and a black dress without a wearer. One queer reading of this is that the narrator is picturing two women – herself in jeans (the pronoun associated with the jeans is ‘my’) and her lover in a black dress (the pronoun associated with the dress is ‘you’). Of course, these could both be the narrator’s clothes -- her lover picturing her in a little black dress, and also in her old faded blue jeans; but this interpretation does not take away from the inherent queerness of the chorus, because we are again only seeing depictions of what a woman is wearing, as told by a female narrator. If there is a man in this story, he is not the subject, nor the object of interest.

[Verse 2]

September saw a month of tears

And thankin' God that you weren't here

To see me like that

But in a box beneath my bed

Is a letter that you never read

From three summers back

It's hard not to find it all a little bittersweet

And lookin' back on all of that, it's nice to believe

We could assume that verse two would take us back to “I” and “he”, but instead, the camera stays on the narrator and “you”. (“He” actually never returns, except in the outro, which is a repeat of the start of the first verse). Here, we see the narrator crying (“you” is unaware); and referencing a letter that she wrote three years prior to when this song takes place (“you” is again unaware).

The contents of the letter are never specified, though we can infer that ‘you’ is the subject of the letter; and that, since it is hidden under the narrator’s bed, it’s contents are personal and private – perhaps feelings that the narrator feels that she has to hide -- from others, from ‘you’, and perhaps even from herself.

It is clear is that the narrator has been thinking about ‘you’ for at least three years now, that ‘you’ is now gone, and that their absence has left the narrator bereft. But the last line of the verse again calls the premise of the song into question, when the narrator reflets “it’s nice to believe.”

It may be that the narrator wants to believe that when ‘you’ hears the narrator’s favorite song, ‘you’ will think of her. Or it may be that the narrator wants to believe that the summer she spent with ‘you’, the long-term object of her affections, was real.

It is possible that the summer that the narrator spent with ‘you’ never happened – that the entire thing played out only in the narrator’s dreams and fantasies. It is also possible that the summer did happen, but not as the narrator wishes. Perhaps ‘you’ is a close friend – someone who the narrator had grown up with and who, over the years, the narrator had developed feelings for, though she could barely admit that to herself, let alone speak those feelings aloud. Now, three years later, ‘you’ has left the picture; and the narrator finds it bittersweet that just as she has come to accept herself for who she is and who she loves, her chance to tell ‘you’ how she feels has passed her by.

This chorus reads differently when seen through the lens of fantasy rather than memory. The narrator hopes that the person who has occupied her thoughts for the past three years will remember her when they are gone. And if they do think of her, she hopes they might see her as she had always wanted them to see her – as someone they could fall in love with. The chorus is romanticized and full of longing; it seems that the narrator is now only in dialogue with herself, and it is unclear if she is remembering a dialogue she had with a lover, or creating a dialogue she wishes she could have had with the person she secretly loves.

And I'm back for the first time since then

I'm standin' on your street

And there's a letter left on your doorstep

And the first thing that you'll read is:

At last, the narrator has resolved to let ‘you’ know her feelings. Whether she has decided to tell a former lover that she still thinks of them and hopes they still think of her; or whether she has decided to let someone know for the first time the depth of her feelings; or whether she wishes she had the courage or the right set of circumstances to come clean, is up for interpretation. What is clear is that the narrator has had to work to get herself to the place where she can figuratively or literally unbox her feelings – and that she has no idea how her feelings will be received. We are left on the doorstep where the narrator has laid her heart bare, and we are completely in the dark as to how our coming out will be received.

We are left with the only thing we know to be true about this story – the fact that the narrator declared out loud that something was a lie. It is curious that the only time the narrator calls out something as being a lie is in the first verse and the outro -- the only parts of the song that reference the mysterious and devoid ‘he’.

Perhaps we are to believe that this is a tell -- and the use of the pronoun ‘he’ is a bait-and-switch, intended to wrap the song and the songwriter in a cloak of heteronormativity. It could also be that the entire song is a lie – a creation, a fantasy.

But whether the narrator is reminiscing or dreaming, the one thing that is clear is that the world that Taylor has built for us is female – that the people who are active in this world are women, the people who are doing the gazing are women, the people being gazed at are women; and that any men who inhabit this world are hinted at, but never seen and never heard.

if we’re talking personality, it’s time for the big guns. i promised i’d use this deck to an anon, today we’re doing a shaman soul reading. 

Jungkook: THE RAINBOW

A sign that the end of the storm is near. This card is truly blessed and imbued with great innocence because that’s exactly what Jungkook is. It’s the “everything is alright” signal: The rainbow symbolizes completion of the soul in the Himalayan region where shamans consider rainbows a bridge to the afterlife. Believe it or not: What we see as JK is the last incarnation of his line. His journey is basically complete (!), it is whole. He’s found what we will all find and the end which is a state of profound happiness. There’s a reason why he brings so much ease, fun, and talent everywhere he goes. That sense of lightness and positivity is deeply embedded in him. Brightness, bubbliness, fleeting moods but always optimistic. His personality is all about joy and the feeling of soaring high. It’s not a farce we see on camera, he really is like that. What I noticed is. Since we see a colorful bird dashing forward on a ray of light, I believe JK is headed somewhere blissful, and he’s headed there fast. The pot of gold at the end of the rainbow, pretty much. Not just the shamans in Nepal consider the rainbow as an arch, Norse ones do, too. The Bifröst bridge connects Midgard to the Æsir. Jungkook has a sort of divine connection going on. That’s why his personality is dignified. Bifröst is translated to ‘shimmering path’, that he got famous was destined from the beginning.

Hoseok: THE SWEAT LODGE

Hey, Mama. I am not surprised that this card is all about a connection to mother earth and all things maternal. The hut — and the ritual that is behind it — is essentially an image for the womb. Hoseok is looking for that warm and cozy feeling in his life. That tells you a whole lot about the personality we rarely see on stage, it’s a much calmer state. The act of sweating disperses old habits and bad thoughts, this is precisely what he seeks. That blissful, protected place/state of being attracts him, or rather, draws him back into his past. His character is so youthful and cheery because he longs for a space like the sweat lodge that leaves you relaxed, drained from the weight of the world, and without sorrows. What he longs for is purity. He’s let go of demons and phases in his life he’s grown out of. His goal is to feel renewed and being without baggage. Note also that the sweat lodge is a community place. He is deeply social, it’s not an act. Hoseok aspires to be a nurturing figure in the future, and peace is very important to him.

Jin: TAMING THE WIND

Think about it: Something as dynamic as air representing Jin makes a lot of sense. He might be a fire sign, but air is nonetheless strong in him. He is a person who is self-directed and cannot be grasped at any time. Air does what it wants, and few other forces can stop it. On top of that, wind is malleable. It can be completely still, gently blowing, come on strong, or be a flat out hurricane. The different levels of intensity are all present in Jin’s character. As in, he can be the introvert of all introverts only to turn into extroversion embodied. The card tells us about just how versatile he can be. That he will achieve more consistency in the future is represented by the act of taming: Yes, he will settle. Visually, the feather is the most important part of this card. It symbolizes a holy dedication to life and distributes smoke during shaman rituals. It can also be interpreted as a pointer when you’re in alignment. So, I’d describe Jin’s character as something that dispels the old to bring about harmony. Thus, he is wild and tame alike. Very interesting duality.

Namjoon: THUNDER

Next to Jimin’s card, this is the most powerful one I pulled. If you’re familiar with The Tower in tarot, THUNDER is similar. Especially in its spiritual weight. Thunder always hails of new things coming. Namjoon is that kind of vanguard. Even his voice booms like thunder man, that’s no coincidence. That he’s the leader of one of the most famous boy groups on this planet means something dramatic and big coming our way. At his core, he is revolutionary. Namjoon is Namjoon because of his message that’s loud, terrifying to great many a hater, and a call to awakening. I am certain he is on his way to enlightenment, I’m not kidding. Because think about, thunder comes first, then: lightning. It describes his personality progression well: Namjoon did a full 180° in the last years. He did all of his shadow work. This card always says a person is about to fulfill their purpose, so he’s currently at the very brink. He is scared to the core but knows that he’s destined for great things. Like buffalos storming ahead, he is unstoppable just like that. It’s because of him that the game changes 😊

Yoongi: THE PRESENT

Beside the literal interpretation of Yoongi being a present to this world which truly is the case, this card also means unconditional offering in a general sense. You’d think it’s his wonderful music that he has gifted us. The meaning of the card says otherwise, things go deeper, it’s about something that is not material in nature. Only true love and true feelings can fully belong to a person and they can give them as a present. I think this is what Yoongi’s personality at its deepest level is about. He is a generous man. Who is more giving than someone so dedicated and full of tender emotions. The card is also a signifier of gratitude, and I think Yoongi truly is thankful. The winged woman shown on the card lifts up the sun, which tells me Yoongi wants to uphold joy and that he was sent to us as an angelic, radiant being. Lil’ cherub he is. The card is colored in such a bright yellow and orange way, I think he could be a kind of light worker, even, if you’re familiar with this concept. What Yoongi’s aim is at its most basic level is to gain access to the happiness of life. And he wishes so dearly we experience it, too. I need a moment.

Jimin: THE INCA CROSS

Ooof. Oh shit. This card is a massive fucking deal. I’m stunned every time I see it. It has a huge wtf factor. A simple but overarching symbol. To shamans, the Inca Cross symbolizes all directions and dimensions coming together. It even connects the Underworld with the Gods themselves. It also has a hole in the middle, allowing us to travel to a different perspective. It tells me Jimin is the one holding everything around him together with his personality. He is that cross, a compass basically. He has access to greater wisdom. The Inca Cross is a big leap, this is what Jimin essentially is. What he exudes propels us forward and unites us. He can make people change their mind and direction in life. He is only halfway aware of that skill. I wouldn’t mess with him either way, he is the true axis of Bangtan. The crucial (=cross-like!) one, even Namjoon said that. Now what’s also important is not just the cross itself but also the color. It is made of solid gold, a very warm tone. His charm and soothing character is innate to Jimin, and that is a regal feat. It’s very important that he knows his worth, that is the crux —cross— of the matter. Now this is where it gets really metaphysical: That the Inca Cross bridges the lower, middle (Human), and upper realm to shamans in Peru is no coincidence. It tells us Jimin was sent from a place that is not this, aka the middle world. I think even people who are not into spirituality can feel that. He is either a saved soul from the Underworld so this is his first incarnation after a long time or he was sent from the Gods. Because the cross connects all worlds, it could even be both at the same time. And since the Inca Cross allows dimension and time travel (!)… maybe he can do even that. This card is telling me the wildest shit.

Taehyung: HEART OF SKY

During the last tarot readings I drew The Empress for him several times, the energy is no different here. This card has Queen of the Night type of imagery. It’s a very dreamy, whimsical woman immersed in melancholy, dressed in lavish garments. It’s not hard to see the parallel to Taehyung’s character. I wanted to see what the personality of bighit as a whole is, too. Unsurprisingly — what came out is an animal who’s a roaring force to be reckoned with. The energy is a lot more competitive and serious compared to The Sun. I find it convincing and see why these cards came out: Lighthearted group, big business company. Now, the Jaguar has a dark side as well as extreme advantages. He sure doesn’t look like the scariest animal ever, but being on top of the food chain allows him to do whatever he pleases: He’ll never be prey. On the other hand, he is protected because he’s so strong. Bighit does have that quality of being untouchable. Much like the jaguar, it’s an undertaking that operated in the shadows for long. (Since some of you said that they would really like to read my Valdemar/MC FF -I’m so happy!!!- here’s the first chapter. This takes place before the actual Arcana storyline, when the Plague is looming over Vesuvia. MC’s abilities and character are based off of one of my ocs that I will introduce in another post. However I didn’t write about her appearence so everyone can imagine their own character, she’s a girl though and she uses feminine pronouns. I hope this doesn’t ruin the reading for anyone. Enjoy! Here’s some context): MC is Asra’s young and kind apprentice. She has a talent that even her master couldn’t teach: a natural talent for healing. But with great powers come great responsabilities, and she’ll learn that ending up working as a nurse for the infamous Quaestor Valdemar. However, a greater danger lurks in the shadow. Will her light still shine if faced with the dark?

Somewhere, in a world suspended between reality and intangible, someone was watching me. -I must have that power. It’s indispensable. – A voice too deep and greedy to not be evil. -I need it for everything to go as planned. I need it to succeed. I have to have it. I must… have her.- But I couldn’t know. . -Here we go. It’s all right now. Try to move your arm- I smile kindly at the little girl sitting in front of me in my shop. She does what she’s asked, smiling back with an even bigger grin that’s missing a canine. -Wow! You’re such a witch! – she giggles, waving her slender limb a few minutes earlier fractured by a bad fall. -I prefer mage, but thank you.- I sneer, watching the faint emerald light leave my palms. -Yes, as you wish! Mother told me she’ll come by in the morning to pay you properly.- I help her get back on her feet, and off the stool. -Tell her it’s not necessary. I cross my arms, shaking my head and muttering to myself: -These kids…- I sigh, turning to go back in, but I find myself in front of Asra, my master and colleague. -A very good job as usual, MC.- he puts his hand on my shoulder with his usual politeness. I sense that’s not all he wants to tell me, so I wait for him to continue. -But you don’t eat with selflessness…you know times are hard. -I look down, feeling naive. -She was just a child…How could I ask her for compensation?- I know he doesn’t like to scold me, but his eyebrows, white as his thick hair, show that he’s already decided to do it. -You know that her mother is the wife of one of Vesuvia’s richest merchants. He would have paid us handsomely. Yours is a rare if not unique gift. No one has such mastery of healing magic as you. This must be rewarded.- I remain silent, my eyes fixed on the floor. Really, I’m a fool. How could I miss such an opportunity when people are starving outside or worse, consumed by the plague? Noticing that I’m silent, Asra sighs, just tightening his grip to reassure me. -It’s okay, MC. -I don’t want you to be hard on yourself about this. I didn’t mean to hurt you.- I put my hand on his, raising my eyes to meet his gaze of a soft violet, strong contrast to his amber skin. -I know. Maybe it’s just… - I swallow, looking for the best words. -I don’t want to be somebody who makes money off other people’s suffering.- he seems to get indignant and gets ready to argue about it, but I interrupt him before that happens. -I just want to help the cause. I just…want to save all those lives.- these words seem to calm him,and his expression comes back relaxed and apprehensive. -You’re not an Arcana. You’re a human being and you can’t save everyone. You have to accept that. You can’t keep accusing yourself forever after– I barely raise a hand to put a stop to his words. I don’t want to remember, but it’s inevitable. -If I had tried harder, if I had resisted…that man’s children would still have a father. He would have loved and protected them… - I cover my face with my hands, while the images of that day manifest before me like apparitions. The man had entered leaving a copious trail of blood behind him. He could hardly speak, given the numerous stabs he had received, from what I could understand, thanks to a robber. Every wound, extremely deep, that I could barely heal, deprived me of so much energy. When I got to what would later be his fatal cut, on the carotid artery, Asra had to tear me from the patient or I would end up going beyond my abilities and dying with him. He took it upon himself to tell the family of the deceased. I didn’t eat for a week after it happened. I felt like a murderer. The guilt gripped me, and was a painful grip. One day the doorbell rang, and I went to open the door. Even though Asra kept me from receiving any more customers while I was so exhausted, now he couldn’t do it because he went shoppingshopping for necessities. On the threshold were two children, brother and sister, the eldest being no older than eleven. -Daddy’s dead, and it’s your fault! -The hate with which the infant stared at me was unspeakable, while just behind him his little sister sobbed incessantly. I stammered something, pale in the face. Days later I saw them again in a wagon. He took the victims of the Red Plague to the Lazaret.

-Sometimes, when the door opens and the bells jingle, I think it’s their ghosts.-I whisper, looking down and staring into nothingness. A tear runs down my cheek, but I don’t realize it until Asra dries it with his thumb, bringing me back to reality. He doesn’t know what to say. Seeing me like that always breaks his heart. He

clutches me tightly, resting his chin on my head. I can feel his jaw tighten. He holds me like this for a few minutes, like he’s afraid I might disappear at any moment. After a long deliberation, he finds the strength to do what’s right. -What would make you happy? -My heart melts to feel he’s putting aside his fears for my well-being. -I want to go out there. I don’t care what happens next. I need to redeem myself, or I won’t be able to go on. -A doubt grips him though, forcing him to give it voice: -Let’s consider the possibility of a repeat of…that unfortunate event. How would you handle it? - I think carefully about the answer. -I’ll have to make it up to it again. For every victim there’ll be three times as many healed.- I clench my fists and I get out of the hug. Even the young man notes that my eyes are full of determination. -if not more. Every night I’ll go to bed exhausted and if not I’ll have to continue even when the moon is shining. It’s my nature, Asra. I was born for this.- I run to the back room, where we both live. His lips open in an expression of utter amazement. Ever since I was a child he has taken me under his wing, finding me in the middle of the road healing pets for pennies. By now he knows me like the back of his hand, or so he thought. He had never seen such passion in a girl who was usually shy and caring. I’ve grown up. At this moment, Asra Alnazar ceases to think he educated me personally. He took care of me, like a gardener watering his flower, just waiting for me to bloom on my own. And at this point there’s nothing he can do. He realizes that if I wanted to, he would have to let me go.

When I return, I have the bag over my shoulder, loaded with everything that could be useful to me during my journey, including, of course, my deck of tarot cards. Although my specialty is healing magic, over the years I have been taught to master the white one discreetly as well. Black magic is still an unexplored

territory, and frankly I hope I never have to experience it. It was always Asra who left me alone in the shop

during his expeditions in who knows which corner of the real world or magical realms. Now it’s my turn.

-Where will you go?- he asks me, eyes veiled with sadness as he suppresses a “will you come back?” -Where’s the need for me to be.- I smile at him, but it’s not enough to calm him down. I look at his worried

face. -This isn’t a good-bye, Asra.- - Promise me.- He’s holding out a hand while also holding something

back. I hand him mine, and he drops a necklace in my palm with an emerald pendant amulet. -What is it?- I

don’t swear. Anything could happen out there. I may never get back to him. -When you need me, if you’ll

moments with him seem to give me the illusion that it wouldn’t hurt to be with him for the rest of my life.

After all, he has never been anything but kind to me, and a thousand other good things. However, although

these reflections confuse me quite a bit, a part of me wants our relationship to remain pure, genuine. It’s

too precious, it goes beyond physical attraction. It’s so deep that it’;s platonic. If I ever had to make a choice,

I’d die for him. And I’m sure he’d do the same for me. -I have to go- I whisper to him with my head down

without having the courage to look at him again. I put my hand on the door knob and turn it, opening the

door wide. -MC.-I turn to him, and it hurts. For a moment I have the impression that he wants to reveal

his deepest confessions and his innermost thoughts to me. Then he bites his lip like he’s taking it all back. -

You haven’t promised yet.- I smile at him. -I’ll come back,I promise you that.- I didn’t think the first time I

left Asra would be the first time I could lie to him. But with those words,I disappear from his sight,not

knowing for how long.

I look around. The streets of Vesuvia have never been so deserted. A boiling wind lifts the sand from the clay soil, creating a vermilion mist. I decide to pass through the market, usually the place that is swarming with people, especially in the late afternoon. Few stalls have the courage to continue selling, the merchants constantly exposed to the incurable and deadly disease. In the distance I can see the stall of Selasi, the baker from whom Asra and I used to go every morning to have breakfast, in more pleasant times. The closer I get, the more I notice the scarcity of the goods: even for him the raw materials are now unobtainable. When he notices me, the man makes his gaze lighten towards my figure, then looks away, as if terrified. To say the least, a peculiar behavior given his joyful character. I remember how his face lit up at the sight of every customer, who he treated daily with all the warmth that a friend would give. Now I stand a few meters away from him when I feel that something is wrong. A familiar aura surrounds him: that of someone who is suffering. My slow pace becomes fast as I approach him: -Selasi!- he jumps. His face looks very emaciated. It’s not just the famine. -Ah, Miss MC… -What can I offer you today?- His voice is a tired, almost inaudible rale. Even stranger, since he is used to shouting to be heard by crowds. His gaze is firmly planted on the ground. -Selasi… you are…- -Don’t come any closer!- I back away, surprised by that shout. Then he continues, mortified: -Please…I don’t want you to…- The question is enough to convince him to look me in the eye. He had never allowed me to treat one in the shop, he was afraid that I would be drained of any strength or worse, infected. I wonder if I’d be able to do anything. -Why didn’t you come to me? You’re a friend.- I’m trying to get closer, but he’s reluctant. -I can’t risk causing anyone’s death, I just can’t. I try to keep my distance, but… - one cough interrupts him. He tries to turn around, but when he does, blood splashes on a loaf of bread. The disease takes its course in three days. The first you have a harmless fever, the third you’re at the Lazaret, waiting for your body to be burned among hundreds more. -Please, let me help you. I’ve treated sick people before, certainly not this kind of pathology, but I’ve never been infected. Please, Selasi.- the choice is not difficult for him, after all what does he have to lose? Nothing must be left uncovered. My being, meanwhile, is now in a total trance. I am no longer aware of the outside world. All I see is my light branching out into thousands of wires and tunnels. When I have invaded every zone, I try to keep my breathing regular, ignoring the dizziness that begins to manifest itself, and I begin purification. I hope that Selasi is feeling instant relief, it would mean that it is working. My stomach is writhing on itself, nauseated, and my legs are made of butter. I can do this. The darkness is about to disintegrate, I can feel it. My temples are throbbing. The heavy air comes in and out of my lungs quickly. I slowly close my fists, calling the light back to me. -Purify and return.- I whisper the formula needed to end the spell. I feel the energies come back to my hands, even if they have now decimated, they have finished their task. I hope it has been successful as I squint my eyelids. My feet touch the ground again. Apparently I was really floating. -Selasi…? -I hardly whisper. I can’t find any answers. For a moment I’m afraid I lost him. My vision is blurred and distorted, I can’t distinguish shapes and sounds come to me muffled. Maybe he’s talking to me, but I can’t hear him anymore. The darkness overwhelms me as I abandon myself to its warmth.

Immersed in the darkness, I can only hear the echo of my thoughts. It’s ridiculous. It would be pathetic if the first time I left Asra, I died. Maybe that’s exactly what happened to me, though. Maybe there was a reason I was never allowed to treat Red Plague patients. Maybe it would have been fatal. At least I saved a life. At least I redeemed myself. I remain immersed in that dense shadow for what appears to be an infinite amount of time. Then I see a pristine light, the famous light at the end of the tunnel. Where is it taking me? When I try to walk towards it I find myself unable to move. But it’s getting bigger, it is the one who is getting closer. My ears ring, it’s deafening. Where am I? When I come out of the luminous aura, I begin to struggle to distinguish a figure. They’re dressed in white, they have a gown, a strange headgear of the same colour in the shape of horns, the skin… green. My imagination is playing tricks on me. They wear a ruby coloured brooch on their chest, it’s shaped like a beetle, and their eyes are bloodshot, with a feline pupil. I’ve never seen this individual. The ringing in my ears fades to make room for sound. The figure is talking. -Oh, you’re waking up, I see.- -Mm…am I dead? Are you an angel?- A giggle answers me. -Oh, no, to be precise, I’m quite the opposite.-
