Hi, could I make a request for Ace, Leona, and Deuce (or just Leona tbh) with a gn or male mc? Tl;Dr: He tries to impress mc, but somehow does something super cringe worthy and messes up the vibe. Here's a more detailed explanation below, also so sorry if this doesn't make sense/is super long, I'm high and the idea came to me in a prophecy. Hope you're havin' a good night/day :)

He does something to try and impress mc and be romantic/cute. But what they do is actually super cringey to the point where it gives mc secondhand embarrassment. they're trying to be nice about it bc they love their bf, but it's super obvious that they're cringing and it's super awkward and funny (for literally everyone else). And maybe it ends with them laughing about it or something, but the idea just popped into my head and I thought it was funny.

A/n: omg I love this request. I really love Ace and Deuce they’re honestly some of my favorites (although I can’t really pick favorites). Also first writing from my phone because I can’t use my computer rn.

- If there’s anything Ace loves other than you, it’s basket ball

- It makes him feel confident and like he’s the coolest guy on the planet

- And so does his boyfriend. So what amazing idea does he come up with?

- Well why not combine both?

- And that’s how you go invited to one of his games

- In his mind, this is perfect, a basketball game with his amazing boyfriend cheering him on from the sidelines, what could be more perfect?

- Or that’s how he sees it…

- He’s not doing… great per say

- In reality he’s missing passes, Bradley able to catch a pass himself, and the sneaker squeaking is starting to drive you crazy

- But you sit there really, really, trying to be supportive

- The final straw is when he takes a shot and instead of going into the basket, it comes right back at him and hits him directly in the face

- Of course you run up to him and make sure he’s okay

- But once he confirms he’s fine, you can’t help but burst into laughter

- It takes you a minute to calm down and when you do Ace is all pouty

- He’ll be mad at you for a bit but he gets over it eventually

- And once he does he admits that yeah, he was doing pretty bad

- It’s now an inside joke between the two of you, you bring it up any time you can

Deuce Spade

- Deuce’s magic is… interesting

- He can summon massive things and personally thinks that it’s really impressive

- But really, it’s only useful in certain situation and when he can actually summon something on purpose

- He thinks that it would be so impressive to use his magic in potions to help you out

- The way he imagines it, you can’t use magic and you’ll be so impressed by his abilities that you’ll thank him by showering him with affection

- Let a man dream, okay?

- What actually happens is a disaster

- He ends up summoning the usual cauldron, which makes a mess of the project the two of you were working on

- You really did try to tell him it was okay, but on the inside it feels like you’re dying

- The both of you end up having to clean the mess and have to start the project over

- The two of you bud up in his room at the end of the day, him with his face in his hands and you doing your best to comfort him just because he’s so embarrassed

- But hey, he did get that affection he wanted in the end so to him, it’s a win

Leona Kingscholar

- Leona doesn’t usually get up and do much

- As you’re definitely aware, Leona’s favorite activity is napping, especially with you

- But when spelldrive practice came up, he couldn’t waste an opportunity to show off how cool he was to his boyfriend

- And guess what? He invited you to join in with practice

- Great…

- It’s not that you don’t enjoy spending time with Leona it’s just that… you’re not very good at this sport, especially with no magic

- Everyone tried to help you out but it was clear that you were just there because Leona wanted you there

- And during practice, you had a repeat of what happened in this first spelldrive

- Frisbee to the head again

- Listen Leona didn’t know his magic was gonna go haywire and hit you

- He’s quickly by your side, making sure you’re okay

- When you finally get your bearings, thankfully not getting knocked out this time, you can’t help but start laughing

- You don’t think you’ve ever seen Leona’s face get redder

- After that practice gets called off and Leona drags you off to his room

- You’re forced to lay there for however long Leona decides to keep you

- in his words this was your “punishment for embarrassing him”

- In reality, he felt bad for hurting you, but he wouldn’t admit it because he’s all grumpy

- So you lay there, petting his hair as he hugs you close, and also with an ice pack on your currently bruising forehead

Ace was a dick.

He would prank everyone, he was loud, and a general problem to most.

But at least he had a good heart.

Y/n on the other hand.

He just hated everyone, and seemingly everything.

He ignored people sometimes, always has a sarcastic remark, and just was cunt.

Everyone knew this about the two freshmen, it was quite obvious. Though it was strange when the both of them appeared on good terms.

The guy who hated everyone and everything friends with the most obnoxious person in their year? No.

But it happened anyway. Kinda.

Ace would follow Y/n around like a puppy begging for a treat, happy with any response he got from the other guy, even a rude one.

"I don't see why you like him" Deuce commented "He's such an asshole"

"He's not so bad once you get to know him!" Ace argued.

"Once again the mighty Grim agrees with Deuce!" Grim proclaimed.

The three had been sitting at a lunch table, waiting on Yuu, when the discussion of Aces new 'friend' came up.

"NOBODY ASKED YOU GRIM!"

Ace was quickly met with a hand to the back of his head.

"Don't talk to Grim like that" A certain perfect responded before taking their seat next to said cat.

"Get 'em hench-human!"

"What were you guys talking about anyway?" Yuu asked, taking the first bite of their food.

Later on, after classes, Ace found himself wondering the campus looking for something, or better put, someone.

And there he was, the guy of his dreams just wondering the halls. He always looked so prefect, from the way he held himself to the way his eyes traced the floor.

Until he saw a familiar pair of shoes that is.

"There you are, I was looking for you" Y/n spoke in a kinder tone then most would've gotten. "Do you want to come back to my dorm again tonight?"

"I was hoping you would say that" Ace laughed "I may or may not have swapped the tea sugar for salt and I do t want to be there when Riddle finds out."

Y/n couldn't help but also let out a slight laugh. He then took a look around, making sure no one was near, before grabbing Aces chin and pulling him in for a soft kiss.

But something that started out innocent soon was taken over by Aces greed and the two boys were now hungry for each others lips.

today was like any normal day. when there was no lessons to attend to, no errands to run, just a normal day sleeping in the dorm. [name], in the midst of the early morning, could be found in the dorm's kitchen, cooking something nutritious that he and his other three idiots friends could eat.

he'd hum a quiet tune, his gaze focused on the eggs that slowly turned white in the pan, not yet realizing somebody walking down the stairs and into the kitchen, but a loud yawn did catch his attention.

"Mrah? Oh, henchman! You're up early..." the tired grim spoke, his tiny paws rubbing his eyes as he jumped onto the counter, wanting to see what the male was cooking.

"Hm, good morning, Grim. Are the others awake?" [name] inquires, placing the cooked eggs onto a plate as he grabs the pack of raw ham, given generously by Sam at his shop.

"Mm, no." "Ah, well could you go and wake 'em up for me?" [name] queries, placing a few slices into the pan, listening to the satisfying sound of it sizzling.

"Ugh... fine, but only because I get an excuse to hit Ace on the face." and with that, the small creature ascends back up the stairs, followed with a loud scream from ace and deuce, who soon enough chased the weasel down the stairs.

"Get back here, you stupid raccoon!" ace exclaims, chasing grim around the lounge along with deuce, who soon stops when he notices [name] cooking in the kitchen.

"Ah, morning, [Name]. What're you makin'?" deuce walks up behind the [h/c] boy, peering over his shoulder to see what was in the pan. "Eggs and ham. You think you can make some toast for us?"

deuce nods silently, grabbing bread from the cabinet and placing two into the toaster. he'd wait patiently for the bread to pop out of the toaster, having small conversations with the [h/c].

ace soon walks into the kitchen, holding grim from his neck as the latter would scratch at his hand, causing the red-head to hiss and yell at the weasel. "Oi, [Name]! Control your stupid cat here!"

"I'm not a cat! I am the Great Grim! Unhand me now!" [name] merely ignores the two, grabbing out the last few slices of ham out of the pan and placing them on another plate.

"Deuce, mind bringing some plates for us and the toast, please?" he'd grab the plate of eggs, walking past his two bickering friends and sparing his blue haired friend a glance before leaving the kitchen and walking into the lounge.

"Uh, yeah sure," deuce grabs the other slices of toast out of the toaster, placing them on a side plate before grabbing four other plates, heading into the lounge after the [h/c]. all the while ace and grim continued fighting with each other.

but the two soon joins in, hair and fur completely ruffled and a mess as they take a seat down on the ground as far away from each other as possible. "Mm, the food looks good! Nice job, [Name]!"

ace would complement, dishing out some ham and egg onto his plate, grabbing a toast as well as he takes a bite, a hum of satisfaction erupting from him.

"What!? You cheater! You got Riddle to help you out?" ace and grim yell out in unison, eyes widened in shock. "And Azul didn't make you sign a contract for it?" deuce pitches in, equally shocked as the other two.

"Mhm. I made a promise to Riddle that I'd make him a strawberry tart, as well as helping Cater out with painting the roses for the next unbirthday party. As for Azul... well, I owe him a favor, so, no contracts needed for it."

"Ah, lucky. Though, I probably wouldn't ask that octopus for help. He'd force me to sign a contract, and I learned from my mistakes." ace would say gloomily, grabbing another slice of ham.

"Yeah, and if I were to ask Riddle for help, he'd chew me out for not understanding..." deuce mutters, equally as gloomy as he slowly chews his food.

"Ugh, [Name]! Why couldn't you have taken me with you so they could've helped me out too!?" grim exclaims, huffing out as his small paws slam against the table.

"Hm? I told you, but you said you could do it yourself. Besides, who was the one that said they got an 'easy 100' just a minute ago?" [name] responds, grabbing another egg and eating it.

"Hey! Don't use my words against me!" grim yells, exclaiming a loud groan of annoyance as he lays his body on the floor.

"Hah... whatever, at least I know I'm not the only one who probably failed..." deuce would say, leaning his body against the couch as he was seemingly finished with his food.

"Oi, don't lump me in with you and this guy, I never said I failed, I just didn't want to think about that stupid assignment." ace grumbles, glaring at the blue haired boy as he points down at the beastman who laid still on the floor.

"Ace, you barely pass Crewel's class either, I think it's fair that Deuce can lump you in with him and Grim." [name] would say, playfully rolling his eyes as he grabs the dirty dishes and heading into the kitchen.

"Huh?! What's that supposed to mean?" "Yeah, henchman! Explain yourself!" "I said what I said. You're all idiots."

Ace Trappola × Male!Yuu!Reader × Deuce Spade [ADeuce/Yuu]

Info On Reader: Reader is intended Masc, and uses he/him/they/them. Reader is intended to be a Yuu of some kind, but I don't use the "Yuu" name here. Reader has no determined features except they are masculine presenting, so all Yuu's (Masc/Trans Masc/NB Masc) can read this. Grim and Reader have a good relationship in this writing.

Timeline: Ambiguous, but it's at least during Chapter 5. Nobody is known to have any animosity in this writing.

Ace and Deuce are as close as two could ever be, and yet they are as fiery as any Savanaclaw members could ever be when together. The brazen Ace Trappola can get on the nerves of the spitfire Deuce Spade any day at any time, but you can see the rivalry from day one.

Ace, at first, claims he's always so discourteous because Deuce was just some goody-goody who can't let loose. Deuce, at first, claims he's always so mistrustful of Ace because he's far too loud and flippant. Still, even after all this time, they still claim this while eating together at breakfast... lunch... dinner... Unbirthday Parties...

It's obvious to some they have feelings for each other like Trey or Cater, but some are caught by surprise when they are a known couple... like Riddle. It's mostly a shock to everyone, simply because of predetermined thoughts of monogamy, when Deuce first calls you a romantic nickname for the first time.

It sends a shock through anyone who's listening, but thankfully Deuce isn't the type to say anything without you there. You can see everyone's faces go between perplexed, shocked, and stupefied. This was an ice breaker for them, and you know that Deuce was just as nervous as you were while letting it slip when discussing your relationship with Deuce's upperclassmen.

With Ace also later backing you up (he had to go to a tutoring session) it didn't take long for other's to understand your all dating. Nothing wrong with that, and basically the only thing Riddle might slap your wrist for is PDA in the halls.

If your the rambunctious and flirty type, you most definitely have been yelled at for PDA in the halls at least once. So you know at least Riddle gives you no special treatment after his Overblot, even if he's a lot nicer. You might be collared (even with/without magic) if you do it more then twice to either of them, though.

Visiting Ace during basketball club hours can see you getting teased by Floyd as you come in the double doors first thing. "Crabbie, your boyfriend is here~!" If Deuce comes in after at anytime, Floyd will chuckle evilly as he jokes more. He'll repeat, "Crabbie, your [other] boyfriend is here~!" Jamil, if he sees you or Deuce first, just pauses practice unless their already on the field. Practice first, break later.

You and Ace joining Deuce for his club activity it far less eventful as Jack is already apart of your friend group and is generally pretty calm about most things. Seeing you both in the stands, Deuce will send a wave and Jack a nod as they continue practice. Afterwards, Deuce will lean on the bleachers to look up at you and Ace, and he'd willingly take slight teases that he needs a shower ASAP from Ace.

"Henchmen, you'll not kick me out of our room for those two chumps, right?!" Grim will ask one day as the other two plan to stay the night. You'll have to assure him that it's your room (plural), a joint room. "Good! Good... ! But if Trappola pulls that dumb line of sharing a bed again, I'll kick him out myself!"

Definitely, if you can cook for yourself, they'd buy a bit of groceries for you whenever they can. They know you get food from the store and/or the cafeteria, but sometimes they want to pitch in just to help. It's never much because they're freshman that probably would save money for future expenses... but if you want anything specific after your shop run, they'll buy it for a dinner date.

They will be around Ramshackle more often for more then just study dates and the occasional dinner dates, and you can bet that Deuce gets you and Ace on a Blastcycle before long to go the the beach. He tells you both this is his "vent" spot, and now, you all can share these memories here together. Overall, it's fun, as long as you don't get caught by Crowley.

He won’t understand until the very end that his feelings for you are not platonic at all.

Is he holding you by the shoulders? Well, yes, we are friends. Is he constantly in your personal space? Pfft, what's wrong with that?

Does he have a disgusted look on his face when unfamiliar students approach you? He doesn’t know them, what if they’re bad?

This man will literally always be with you, no matter when or where.

Are you going to lunch? Is he with you. Do you need to go to the library to do homework? He will complain, but at the same time he never left behind you while you were walking.

You're the first person he always invites to his basketball game.

Like, you know, he can play and the moment he hears how you support his team and himself, his desire to win increases three times.

He finally understands his feelings after other people pointed out your closeness with him several times. His reaction is “of course we are close, we are best friends” and at the moment he literally “..we are close 🫢😶😳”

Now the troublemaker begins to notice that everything connected with you is important to him

The gears in his field are like this 🔁 and he understands that the desire to be close, hug, kiss, hold, make you smile are not platonic feelings at all.

I also think that for some time he will not understand how much he liked the guy, but as soon as he remembers your image, all questions from his head will disappear and he will curse your too beautiful face, magnificent eyes, your- AHEM

At first he doesn’t know what to do with it at all. Because 1. You are his best friend 2. He is your best friend 3. What if you don't like boys??? The boy is literally broken

Despite this, he becomes completely shameless. Teases, flirts and speaks with the simplest possible hints. Forgive him, the boy is trying to get you to react and understand whether you like him

Most likely, HE will be waiting for recognition. (He's too afraid that you don't like him and it will ruin your friendship)

He is the type that will look at you with puppy dog eyes and when you remark, he will immediately begin to turn the arrow on you. “I am NOT staring. And you? HE IS SO CUTE, he also didn’t notice for a long time that he feels different with you

Like: “yes, I want to spend more time with him, I look at him often, and suggest we study together. Is there something wrong?"

He's the kind of guy who will randomly look at you and literally be like: Deuce.exe doesn't answer. You 100% caught this look on yourself. You could even stare back for a while until Deuce realized it and turned his head away at the speed of light.

He thanks the seven because you never talk about it

He would rather die than answer the questions “why are you staring?” YOU DEFINITELY SAID ONCE SOMETHING LIKE “do you like what you see?” the boy couldn't speak or look at you for a couple of weeks.

He also 100% told his mom about you when he called her and she could also tease him, because he didn’t even notice what exactly he was talking about you and then he just sat there with a red face looking at the floor

I think he realized his feelings at the moment when you were in your dorm and in silence doing your own thing. Have you heard that people become 100% more handsome when they go about their business with complete confidence and skill? Exactly this moment.

The boy literally didn’t take his eyes off you and didn’t say a word while he looked at you. Do you have to be so charming?

Please don't ask why he's red, he 's ready to get up and run away right now.

From that moment on, he understands that his heart beating too quickly and the desire to be closer are not platonic.

HE CALLS MOM IMMEDIATELY (if the time is not later) he absolutely does not know what to do in this situation. Fortunately, his mother calms him down and says that he should confess to you. happy pride month!!

coming out was difficult. for everyone, of course. ace was fortunate to hear mostly success stories from his friends when they came out and he was sure his parents would accept him for who he was. but there was this feeling in his gut that made him feel extremely unsettled. something was going to go wrong. he knew it. and it made his body physically sick.

“ace! you’ll be fine!” it was as if you read his mind.

“(y/n), it’s a lot more complicated than that.” he was blue in the face from nervousness.

“well from what you told me, you have a good relationship with your family. i’m sure nothing will come of harm.” you gently take his hand as he stops in front of a house with a red roof. ace takes a deep breath as he hears laughing and chattering in the backyard.

“they must be having a barbecue for today.” he says. “maybe this wasn’t such a good idea. i bet my other family members are here-”

“let’s go! we traveled all the way here!”

“yeah! and i’m hungry!” grim exclaimed, resting on top of your head. “it smells good!”

“must be my dad. he’s not just great at magic tricks but he’s also great at cooking. does most of it actually.” ace laughed before his face fell. “alright well...here goes nothing.”

the two of you walk to the white picket gate and open it, stepping into the backyard space. it was a lot bigger than you anticipated. there were chairs everywhere, plenty of people who you easily recognized as ace’s family since they shared a similar hair color or eye color. people were laughing, drinking, eating food. there were little kids running around (cousins you presumed). it seemed to be a celebration of some sort. a child stopped upon seeing the two of you and smiled. “ace!” he yelled.

the noise immediately died down, everyone turning their heads to look at the two of you. your legs suddenly felt like jelly and grim’s fire suddenly felt too hot for you to handle. they were staring at the two of you, holding hands. you saw an older man who looked very similar to ace cross his arms and ask, “ace, who’s this?”

“uhhh...well...” ace could feel himself begin to sweat. everyone was looking at him curiously. “this is my boyfriend, (y/n) (l/n). we’ve been dating since...december i think?” he turns to you for comfort.

you smile and nod vigorously. “yep!”

ace turns back to his family. “yeah. and (y/n) has to spend the break at nrc all alone and i didn’t want him to be alone so i thought it would be nice for him to...come along with me.”

his gut waited for the worst possible reaction.

instead, there was a sudden rupture of cheer which you were not expecting. you heard plenty of comments along the lines of “he finally found someone serious!” a woman emerged from the crowd. “oh ace! come here!” she immediately brings him in for a hug.

“ah! mom!” his face goes red.

“oh how i missed you.” she turned to you. “and you must be (y/n)! and is this the beast i’ve heard about?”

“the name is grim-sama!” grim sits up on your head.

“it’s a pleasure to meet you mrs. trappola.” you let out a surprised sound when she brought you in for a hug.

“call me judith! oh and that’s my husband charles!” she gestures to the man at the grill wearing a gingham red and white apron. he waves.

“hey (y/n)! you have any dietary restrictions? we have a ton of option!”

“oh that’s sweet! i am very hungry. do you have a tuna patty for him?” you point to grim.

“i would have to check the fridge. harrison! go check the fridge!” he exclaims.

“fine uncle charles.” a teenage boy reluctantly puts down his video game console as he goes to check the fridge for a tuna patty.

“hee hee you’re the best (y/n).” grim snuggles up to you.

“of course. anything for my favorite creature.” you pet his head. “alright ace- ace?” your boyfriend had disappeared before you spotted him being hounded upon by his aunts, uncles, and cousins (especially the baby ones).

the older version of him approached you. “hi. i’m etienne, ace’s brother. i’m sure you’ve heard of me.”

“oh yes! i have! ace talks about you all the time!” you exclaim.

“it’s nice to see that ace loves someone enough to bring them to our home.” he smiles. “but, if you want my opinion, i bet you’re too good for him.”

the comment made you laugh. “isn’t that how we all feel sometimes?”

“yeah, true. would you like something to drink?”

“a lemonade with sparkling water?”

“lemonade soda! coming up!”

you sit with judith and etienne at a table with one of the teenage cousins having taken your bags inside while ace tends to the cousins to talk about how much he’s changed at nrc. you were busy detailing the disastrous details of your first date which his brother shook his head, muttering, “that’s ace for ya.”

eventually ace plopped down in the seat next to you with a glass bottle filled with soda. “great seven! i’m already exhausted!”

“you are the favorite cousin. the kids love you!” judith takes a sip of her water.

“yeah but like, i shouldn’t have to babysit them and stuff.” ace chugs down his soda.

charles takes a seat next to judith, wiping the sweat off his forehead. “whew! i can relax for now. the steak’s cooking and we also found a tuna patty for your little friend.” he gently pats grim’s head.

“i am not a pet!” he exclaims.

“so, anyways, (y/n), i trust my son has been treating you well?” charles raises an eyebrow.

“yes he has! i couldn’t ask for anyone better.” you lean against ace’s shoulder and he leans into your touch.

“good. it means we’ve set a good example. so now, how are my son’s grades? i don’t trust him to tell me.”

“oh great seven! come on!” ace groans.
