Todays rip: 01/10/2023
1, 2 Oatmeal (Actual In-Game Version)
Season 3 Featured on: SiIvaGunner's Highest Quality Rips: Volume AI Also on: Dr. Pavel's How the Grinch Took Over SiIvaGunner
Ripped by Smoky
youtube
Its officially the spooky month! To celebrate, I've prepared perhaps the spookiest thing a SiIvaGunner viewer could think of - low quality music! :OOO
In all seriousness though - as I've shown before with rips such as dame da nellerman and Sex - Steve Harvey, SiIvaGunner is filled to the brim with content not meant to simply be consumed as everyday listenable music. The aim of the channel, first and foremost, is to make people smile - and it can do so in any number of ways. The power of ironic shitposting is not one to be underestimated - especially when it has a surprising amount of effort actually put into it.
To this day I have no clue what actually led to the creation of 1, 2 Oatmeal, a bizarre and poorly-sung parody cover of Dream Land 64 from the original Super Smash Bros. (Itself an arrangement of Gourmet Race from Kirby Super Star). Its a strange piece of old internet that, thanks to everyone's favorite Super Mario 64 Funnyman - Simpleflips - has now become one of those things that just keeps appearing as donation-submitted music onto livestreams all over. I even have faint recollections of Chaze the Chat, SiIvaGunner channel creator, explicitly saying during Season 2 that he would never feature 1, 2 Oatmeal. Well, less than a year later, and we arrive here - 1, 2 Oatmeal (Actual In-Game Version). There's just something so fascinating about the lengths Smoky went to with this rip - the amount of effort placed to make the Dream Land theme sound exactly as off-key in the exact same places as the original video - without any lyrics to even attempt masking it. When compared side by side, its evident that actual research went into making sure the two lined up perfectly, and yet the end result is flat-out unpleasant to listen to.
Or, well...it *should* be unpleasant to listen to, but its just too god damn funny. Its impossible for me to listen to 1, 2 Oatmeal (Actual In-Game Version) without also thinking of all the hilarious suffering streamers like Simpleflips have gone through to the tune of the song, without picturing Smoky with the biggest smile on their face as they line the pieces together for their dastardly concoction to be released onto the world. Its a high-quality effort that's impossible for me not to appreciate even as I'm internally suffering from having to listen to it - and now I've unleashed the plague unto you folks as well.

poem #8
(this one is a long one and comes with a list of TWs, so the actual poem is below the cut. this one is also a lot more prose-poetry/slam poetry-esque than my other stuff )
TW for school shootings, trans genocide/transphobia, abortion (mentioned), police brutality (mentioned), suicide (mentioned).
the thing about TikTok written 4 april 2023
y’know, i only opened this app because i saw a clip somewhere of one of my favourite bands. the singer made a joke in Scotland last night, and surely someone had to have posted a better-quality video on TikTok.
it was the first thing i saw when the app loaded, because they just know me so well. i watched it and saved it so that i can watch it again as a distraction or something later. but then i made the mistake of scrolling.
the next thing i saw was a 5-minute video about how people my age and younger were screaming for their lives just across the pond outside of government buildings. they are desperate not to be killed in their classrooms, desperate to live through this semester, desperate to be heard, but the suit-wearing rulers shuffled through their 1000-person sea, one foot at a time like it was dark and they couldn’t see the people my age and younger lining the walls, holding their signs, screaming for change. i watch it, and i have to keep scrolling.
some video about all the shit you can buy for just 8 USD from a gas station in Japan. i don’t watch the whole thing; i keep scrolling.
someone with a cool haircut is sitting on the floor of their bedroom, crying. the sound playing is saying something from a show i haven’t watched about a storybook fox who is sick and tired of living in a hole. they are crying, the tags say that they are trans, and they are crying. their bio says they are just 14, that’s three whole years younger than i am and something in me surges because that is my sibling whose name i don’t know and that i may never get to because the threat of genocide has them, 14, crying on their bedroom floor. not tonight, i think in silence. i do not want to cry tonight. and so i keep scrolling.
and the next video is an indie artist who didn’t exist a year and a half ago, but even so, their new single that when viral drops in a few nights so i follow their page and i hold my breath: should i scroll again? i do, i don’t learn.
and there’s a joke i don’t get with the loudest fucking noise i’ve ever heard. it makes no sense, i scroll again.
oh look, a 9-year-old girl who got shot when she went back to pull the fire alarm so her classmates would know to run. run. run. her face is the centrepiece, her smile from an earlier date something i need to learn to shake off by tonight. i can’t even imagine what being her might have been like. i scroll again.
a cover of a song, sung atop guitar chords; another joke that the comments don’t explain to me either; another reminder of the imposing genocide; abortion bans are being enforced; they’re using force against unarmed protesters again; a poem spoken to me by a person named Lee; more tour clips to distract me; some statistics about teen suicide rates rising in the States; and one of those checkpoints that tells you that it’s time for a break. stand up, stretch, get some water. the song playing low in the background is one i’ve heard maybe a hundred times by now, but i do as i’m instructed, and i take a deep breath.
my curtains are open and i can see through my window. i remember the song i started writing the other day about how people like me seldom live long enough to see their hair turn grey. i remember how i couldn’t finish it off because something salty and wet rubbed the ink off my page and i closed my book and i pretended that i wasn’t upset, like how, in an hour from now, when dinner is served hot in front of me and they ask me “how has your day been?” i will pretend my phone is not heavy in my pocket and that the kids' shouting isn’t plaguing me and that trans people aren’t losing their right to exist and be free and that a girl half my age wasn’t shot because she got unlucky one day.
and i regret opening TikTok every time that i do because i always fail to miss all those kids i heard dance on here. instead, i get singers on stages and artists who speak and kids who know how to barricade doors with desks and bookshelves and how to defend themselves with their trendy metal water bottles, and news about the latest legislation passed that ensures that more kids will be forcefully born into a cyclical mess where they don’t get to grow up without routine checks as to whether they can tell apart a juice box pop and a gunshot.
and there are not enough words to tell you all the things i have heard scrolling through TikTok, where the mothers are gentle with their children until they go to sleep, because then they take off their soft tones and don their broken voices, screaming out in hopes that their kids won’t have to.
it has to be a phenomenon: the ability you need to grow by my age if you want to use an app as unsuspecting as the sound of a clock, TikTok. if you cannot master empathy and apathy and the way in which you must be able to switch between one and the other at the littlest flick of your wrist because what’s funny one minute must always precede the latest tragedy, death giving way to a joke and a smirk from a pretty girl in a skirt whose page a month ago was all about ways you can help in Ukraine, but clearly, she has become a master of this miracle.
and at the end of it all, when it has been hours of hearing about Neo-nazis and the generalised patriarchy and the right or wrong ways to raise bread yeast, i think three things:
one: a simmering roll of “wow”. both my empathy and apathy have been expended, and now, i have nothing left to give.
two: i am never coming back here again, like a hotel where they promise a rest, a break, a chance to get away from your day-to-day stress. one star.
three: oh look, my band said something funny again, and god, i could use a distraction.

Chase Koeneke's Top 10 Games of 2022
I think in general, I found myself wanting in 2022. While new games in some of my favorite franchises saw releases, very few lived up to the expectations I had for them. I also just completely missed games that would almost assuredly make this list (Hardspace Shipbreaker, Immortality, Pentiment, Coromon, Chained Echoes, the list goes on). But what did make the list? Let's find out.
Tumblr media
10. Digimon Survive
Look, I promised myself this would be my token tenth slot, and it’s not because it deserves it. Digimon Survive isn’t very good. Its strategy parts are thin and tedious, plagued by low movement ranges and bad maps. And its visual novel parts go on way too long, yet rarely offer much depth.
But dammit, there’s something here, and with some adjustments, a sequel to Digimon Survive could be really good (though I’m not sure it’ll get that chance.) The art style is excellent, the writing is solid (again, it’s an issue of quantity and redundancy, not necessarily quality) and outside of one or two of them, I ended up really connecting to both the characters and the Digimon. Other games deserve this slot more, but there was no other game I wanted to like more than this, and I think that accounts for something.
Tumblr media
9. Platformer Toolkit
I love playing games, but I think I love analyzing them even more, which is probably why Mark Brown’s video-essay-inside-a-video-game appealed to me so much. Mark Brown’s YouTube channel, Game Maker’s Toolkit breaks down game mechanics, theory and psychology, and after he taught himself Unity this year (documenting his progress on the channel), he built a game that gave a tiny window into the the minds of game developers.
Platformer Toolkit is a simple browser-based 2D platformer, but it controls like garbage. This is by design though! Mark walks and talks you through the physics of character movement, unlocks sliders and panels in a Mario Maker style design that lets you tweak everything from jump height and run speed to squash frames and coyote time. And once you’ve finished the short and free experience, Mark opens up a number of presets that lets you toggle through a group of classic platformer physics setups (Mario, Sonic, Celeste, Meat Boy, etc.) so you can compare and gain a greater appreciation for why those characters control the way they do. It was really compelling and I felt like a learned a ton.
Tumblr media
8. Marvel's Midnight Suns
I’ve felt this way for years and I haven’t been shy in saying it: I’m fucking tired of superheroes. Throw them all in the bin right next to zombies and let’s find a new thing to obsess over please. But I do love me a turn-based strategy game, so when the makers of XCOM: Enemy Unknown announced they were making a game based on Marvel heroes, the pros outweighed the cons, and I checked it out. And while I’m not back on the MCU train (in fact, the writing is so, so, so Marveliciously awful, that I’ve started skipping cutscenes whole cloth), I’m finding myself addicted to the game parts of this game.
Midnight Suns does not play like XCOM. At all. It’s an entirely new, card-based system, played in very small arenas. You’re always outnumbered and you always have a very limited numbered of actions available to you each turn. To overcome this, you have to employ clever strategy to make the most of every move, using attacks to bounce enemies off each other or parts of the environment, disabling the most vicious threats and finding the perfect opportunity to burn an action on achieving an objective. And while I never could thematically wrap my head around why these larger than life super-beings were all fighting in these cramped little spaces, the fact is, it’s just a really fun system to play around in.
Tumblr media
7. Vampire Survivors
More than any other game this year, Vampire Survivors justified my purchase of a Steam Deck. That sounds weird, right? I spent over $500 on a thing just to play a $5 game on it most of the time? But, uh, Vampire Survivors really is that good. This horde mode meets roguelike with a thick coat of Castlevania paint and a sprinkle of idle game sensibilities just kept sucking the hours right out of me.
While the game on its own is fun enough, the real secret to the game’s success is, well, it’s the secrets. Finding the right combination of active and passive power-ups leads to special ultimate upgrades that turn you into an absolute buzzsaw of destruction against screen-filling masses of enemies. The more you play, the more fun, new toys you unlock, compelling you to try just one more run. A compulsion I would often give into.
Tumblr media
6. Citizen Sleeper
I was so hot on Citizen Sleeper when I first loaded it up. I’ve followed Guillaume “blackysan” Singelin’s work for awhile now, and seeing their work translated to a video game was really exciting. And the writing, my god, the writing! I hung on most every word. And its dice-heavy tabletop game mechanics and extremely limited resources brought in a satisfying combo of luck and desperation that gave me a real sense of scrounging and stretching for survival.
And then I realized that the game rarely allows the player to fail, almost always throwing them a bone at the last minute, never fully committing to the survival tale the story would have you believe. And about two-thirds of the way through the game, the economy just falls apart completely, as any reasonably competent player can amass more than enough resources to live comfortably, even while the story tries to convince you otherwise.
It was a real heartbreaker to me, one that partially led to me taking the first potential ending the game presented. But the more distance I get from it, the less I think about the busted economy and the more I think about my sleeper, and the choices and friends she made along the way. And thinking about that makes me smile.
Tumblr media
5. Live A Live
Man, I wish Live A Live had gotten a western release back on the Super Nintendo. I know young Chase would’ve loved the JRPG-meets-turn-based-strategy combat, the amazing music and the fragmented story that stars multiple protagonists in different time periods. I know this because current Chase loved it, especially with this HD 2D touchup it got on the Nintendo Switch. Is it better than Chrono Trigger and Final Fantasy? I mean…maybe? The fact that it’s even a question at all speaks to how good Live A Live is.
It’s so inventive for its era. Heck, it’s still inventive today, playing with both genre and expectations to create something unique while wearing its influences proudly on its sleeve. More RPGs should’ve taken cues from Live A Live. And they still should.
Tumblr media
4. Triangle Strategy
Oh look, another turn-based strategy game. Oh, and it’s HD 2D too? Yup, I have a type, and Triangle Strategy almost fits it to a t. The game tells a grand story that genuinely gripped me (even though the voice acting often didn’t), and offered real, tangible choice leading to different story paths, character recruitments and endings.
And while the battle mechanics weren’t perfect, there was enough depth and variety from the different characters that I took great pleasure in building each soldier up, unlocking new skills and equipping with new gear, looking for synergistic combinations. I love tactics games that make me care about my characters, and I fell hard for this cast of knuckleheads.
Tumblr media
3. Tinykin
One of my favorite gimmicks in media is shrinking down and exploring a normal-sized space as a tiny character. I love the MacGuyverness of recontextualizing modern household objects as buildings, tools and transportation. And Tinykin has this in spades. In this miniature adventure, you explore kitchens, bedrooms, bathrooms and greenhouses as you collect Pikmin-like Tinykin — creatures that help you navigate the world and solve its objective-based puzzles.
Tinykin has no combat, just chill, puzzling vibes that allow for curiosity and coziness to walk hand in hand. And as your posse of Tinykin grows, you roll deeper and deeper with your crew, until you are masterfully climbing, gliding and sliding about these creative spaces. It’s the perfect game to wind down with, and one I’d happily return to if another room got added as DLC.
Tumblr media
2. Pokemon Legends: Arceus
Coming into 2022, this is not the Pokemon game I expected to make this list. Legends: Arceus looked awful in trailers: Empty worlds, lifeless combat, no real multiplayer to speak of. And none of those things changed once I got my hands on the final product. What did change though, was my perspective of the game in the first place.
Legends: Arceus has you exploring an ancient Sinnoh region, in a world where the concept of Pokeballs and capturing Pokemon is just being discovered. Battling Pokemon isn’t all that fun with the new speed and strong style mechanics, but there’s hardly any battling in the game at all. Instead, Legends: Arceus is about the thrill of catching and collecting. It’s the first game in a while that makes “catching them all” feel like a relevant goal again. And the arrival of Alpha Pokemon (which are essentially bigger and rarer versions of their normal counterparts) added yet another layer of collection on top. In a year where Scarlet and Violet mostly disappointed me, Legends: Arceus is what kept me carrying a torch for my beloved pocket monsters.
Tumblr media
Neon White
No other game made me feel as smooth, as cool, as fast and as clever as Neon White. Traversing this deadly parkour demon hunting time trial was my favorite experience of the year. I loved parsing out the fastest route through a level, discovering shortcuts and time saves along the way, before spotting a collectible and slowing down to a puzzling crawl to work my way up to where it was hiding. I loved taking on the challenge rooms that require precise and inventive ways of using your arsenal, not just for killing, but for traversal purposes as well, and then taking that knowledge back to the main game and seeing how i could implement it into my runs.
Just about the only thing I dislike about the game is some of its writing and voice acting. Spike Spiegel himself, Steve Blum does a great job, but very little else of the cast is pulling their weight.
But when a game makes you feel this damn cool, it just doesn’t matter what little hiccups you encounter. It’s my favorite game of the year, and one I’d probably love even more if I had a dedicated crew on my platform of choice to compete for the best level times. Neon White is a kinetic experience that turned me into a speed runner with every level.

I only started following you because of my salad fingers phase and you had a crossover comic featuring him, but now the lore of dhmis is enticing and I have no clue where to start. Can you- can you pwease explain it to me?
-dysrix anon
ok got it!!! no problem!!!!!
(before i start rambling excessively i just gotta say that's different to hear lol, i think the majority are around for the puppets and just tolerate mr sally's presence)
OK SO. dhmis is a webseries that started in 2011 as a short film made by a couple of college kids who wanted to say something about not imposing rules on how creativity should be expressed, because art school is kinda just Like That. that video was put on youtube and went really super viral and all the Reaction Video People were a "so scawy 😥" whiny baby about it. the creators wanted to make a series but left the idea alone because it was a lot of work and also expensive (puppetry). then in 2014 they were commisioned to make 2, they did, and then tony the talking clock (emphasis on those last three words) became a tumblr sexyman and a bunch of everyone started shipping him with sketchbook (who they called paige) and humanizing them and it was just this whole thing. anyway thanks to them the creators made a kickstarter to fund the rest of the series and it actually worked out, too. so i'd like to thank the clockfuckers we would not be here without you. i hope you fucked your clock. anyway then over the next two years the last four episodes came out and they were epic and gamer and increasingly Kinda Horrifying (three still messes me up a bit but none of the others ever scared me, it's just more weird than anything. in a very good way) and the last one, six, came out june 19th 2016 (which was father's day, and it hasn't been father's day june 19th since yesterday, and it won't be again until 2033), and it was awesome. then september 13th 2018 wakey wakey (thirteen second long trailer) happened and everyone lost their shit and then sundance film festival in january 2019 where they pitched that pilot they made around (and seeing as the pilot as we know it is almost certainly a lost media now, those very low-quality cam leaks on youtube are possibly all that remains). then in july 2020 they started making the show and well you know Plague Was A Thing That Happened so it was pretty quiet for a while and then august 30th 2021 they announced they finished filming and then february 25th there was a clip continuing the pirate joke and saying they were finishing lines and then late may wakey wakey disappeared aND THEN YESTERDAY FLY HAPPENED AND
and the reason i'm finishing that particular tangent very quickly is that i am now realising you were likely asking about the lore of the story itself. and not its process of existence
well
SO NO ONE KNOWS WHAT IT'S ABOUT.
there sure are a lot of ideas out there!! and i have definitely got my own ideas which i don't really talk about ever because they're honestly a bit too rude to the media theory (which i hate - a lot - but also which a lot a lot a lot of other people really like. so it'd be mean)
ANYWAY THE BASIC SUMMARY OF THE WEBSERIES is there are three puppets and they're yellow guy and red guy and duck and they all live in a house together and every episode some object in their house comes alive and sings to them a lesson about an abstract, basic concept like yknow creativity and time. so it's sort of meant to resemble something like sesame street at first. but these sentient objects (who are usually called "teachers") are kinda Really Fucked Up and the lessons go wrong really fast and usually end in uhhhh murder. also their life is a lie and it's like puppet matrix and roy, yellow guy's dad, really does seem to be the guy pulling the strings behind it all. man it's like thirty minutes total on youtube i don't want to spoil it TOO much in case you ever decide to check it out lol. oh wait. oh wait you asked where to start
well you start there!!!!!!
ALSO there's a bunch of lost videos and that one puppet interview and a collection of little things around miss becky's instagram or mr joe's twitter that all just weaves together with the main thing to make A Web of Story and it's awesome. i'd be glad to tell you all about that too if you ask!!!! i'm very normal about all this that's why i have lists and notes and a handful of rambly word document essays about this everywhere
ok i'm done thanks for coming to autism hour with creech

ON Semiconductor launches ultra-low power image sensor series for smart homes and offices
Tumblr media
【Lansheng Technology News】On October 11, 2023, ON Semiconductor announced the launch of the Hyperlux LP image sensor series for industrial and commercial cameras. The scenarios cover smart access control, security cameras, augmented reality/virtual reality/extended reality headsets, Machine vision and video conferencing, etc. Based on 1.4 µm pixels, this sensor series delivers industry-leading image quality and low power consumption while dramatically improving image performance to capture clear, vivid images even in harsh lighting conditions.
This product series of ON Semiconductor also adopts a stacked architecture design to minimize product volume. The smallest model is as small as a grain of rice, making it an ideal choice for compact devices that are plagued by size constraints. Customers can choose the AR0544 with 5 million resolution, the AR0830 with 8 million resolution, or the AR2020 with 20 million resolution according to the usage conditions.
Today, more and more homes and businesses are installing cameras for surveillance. According to statistics from Yole, this market is expected to triple by the end of 2030. Therefore, consumers need devices with better image quality, more reliability and longer battery life to enhance the overall user experience.
Cameras using this image sensor can provide clearer images and more accurate object detection, even in adverse weather and lighting conditions. Additionally, since these cameras are often placed in locations where it is difficult to replace batteries or charge them, low power consumption becomes a critical requirement.
The Hyperlux LP Series is packed with features and proprietary technologies to optimize performance and increase resolution, including:
Motion wake-up function – the sensor can operate in an ultra-low-power mode, consuming only a fraction of the power required in full-function mode. Once the sensor detects object motion, it quickly enters a higher performance state with shorter response times.
Smart ROI – Provides multiple regions of interest (ROIs), providing multi-window views of the scene at lower bandwidth and simultaneously providing windows with original detail images.
Near-infrared (NIR) performance – With innovative silicon process design and pixel architecture, it provides excellent image quality in the near-infrared band.
Low power consumption – can reduce image quality problems caused by thermal noise and reduce the use of heat sinks, thereby reducing the overall cost of the vision system.
In addition to smart home devices, the Hyperlux LP series also enhances the office conferencing experience with more intuitive and seamless video conferencing solutions.

Design Event Reflection: Customer-obsessed – Designing exceptional experiences for CPF members
I had the opportunity to attend a talk/tour at the Central Provident Fund (CPF) Board Woodlands along with two of my friends who are taking the same module.
Tumblr media
This event was led by Sabrina, a behavioural analyst at CPF, along with her team. The event centred around CPF's dedication to a customer-centric strategy, emphasising the need to provide outstanding experiences for CPF members.
CPF Board's corporate culture embodies four core elements: agile, bold, customer-obsessed, and data-smart (ABCD). These elements serve as a framework for their design philosophy, which is closely aligned with the ideas covered in our module.
In terms of Design Thinking and Empathy, CPF's "customer-obsessed" approach goes beyond customer-centricity. They try to understand their customers' individual needs and motivations, a concept fundamental to the design thinking process we have explored in this module. By empathising with CPF members, they aim to anticipate and fulfil members' needs proactively, often addressing these needs before customers even express them.
The CPF design team uses the ‘Research-Design-Testing’ model (attached below), which closely aligns with the design thinking process emphasised in our module. This model is accompanied by a design problem statement, “How might we design exceptional experiences for CPF members at our service centres, especially for the elderly and vulnerable?”
Tumblr media
In terms of research, they carried out over 300 hours of field observations, interviews, customer journey mapping and focus groups to redesign both their physical and online environments. This extensive study gave important insights into CPF members' experiences and pain points, a practice that resonates with our discussions on user research.
Tumblr media
The design team was able to sort out several design issues that plagued the former design through this study. For the CPF members, the team observed that there was too much noise and limited privacy when using open counters. There was also a lack of accessibility as there were no friendly spaces for individuals with disabilities as well as the elderly. Furthermore, the use of cramped, gang-linked chairs led to minimal engagement within the waiting area. For employees, single dining tables led to overcrowding during mealtime, and there was no room for staff with mobility challenges. The pantry was likewise small and outdated, with little space for movement.
This research process ultimately led to the formulation of six key design goals:
Inclusive Space: Ensuring accessibility for all, including the elderly and those with disabilities.
Phygital Experience: Seamlessly integrating physical and digital spaces to enhance the overall experience through innovations such as virtual queuing systems and sensory features.
Tumblr media
3. Digital Inclusivity: Providing an inclusive digital experience to a varied audience, emphasising instructional videos over text for increased accessibility.
4. Local Aesthetics: Using local flavours and cultural components to create a sense of familiarity and connection.
5. Employee Satisfaction: Recognising the significance of providing a pleasant working environment for frontline staff in order to improve service quality.
6. Green and Sustainable: Committing to eco-friendly materials and sustainable practices in service centre renovation and maintenance.
The design goals and research then led to the creation of prototypes, which is very similar to the paper prototype method we discussed in class. They used low-fidelity prototypes to focus on functionality and usability rather than aesthetics. I was actually shocked to see that they built kiosks and counters using cardboard and paper for real-life prototyping (attached below), which made me realise that prototyping is not limited to digital products or gadgets but can be applied to physical spaces as well.
Tumblr media
Sabrina also emphasised that low-resolution prototypes serve as invaluable tools for simulating user journeys and that failing during this phase is perfectly normal as it leads to iterative improvements. This mirrors our discussions in class on the iterative nature of design thinking and the importance of continuously improving our designs through low-stakes methods such as lo-fi prototyping.
In addition to sharing about their design endeavours on their physical space, Sabrina also touched on both web and mobile interaction design, where many of the features are redesigned to focus on design interactivity. This includes organising content by user’s intent. This highlights the idea of empathy as the team understood that users, especially those who are unfamiliar with the interface, might be confused as to what to do when they enter the platform (attached below). Larger touch targets and language translation support were also integrated into their web and mobile designs to ensure user-friendliness and inclusivity, especially for the elderly and non-English speakers.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
CPF's customer-centric strategy, research methods, prototype approaches, and emphasis on inclusion and interaction are all strongly aligned with the content of our course. It was eye-opening to see how these principles are applied in a real-world setting, emphasising the need for empathy and constant development in the design process. They made use of research to also diverge and understand their users, then converged when prototyping solutions. After testing, they diverged again to refine their designs based on real user feedback. This iterative approach highlights the significance of continuous testing and monitoring, ensuring that service centres evolve to meet customers' changing needs.
The photos below were taken when we were touring the service centre. The first image shows the enclosed consultation pods that have broad doorways and ample spaces for those with disabilities, as well as acoustic cushions for greater noise absorption. the e-lobby, which uses cone-shaped tables to accommodate additional kiosks and room for employees to help the elderly with digital transactions. The second image shows the e-lobby, which uses cone-shaped tables to accommodate additional kiosks and room for employees to help the elderly with digital transactions.

Content Creation for Beginners – Tips and Tricks
If you’re interested in content creation but have no idea where to start, this post is for you! Here are some tips and tricks for creating great content as a beginner. The most important thing to remember is that quality trumps quantity – it’s better to have a few pieces of really good content than lots of mediocre or poor quality content.
When it comes to thinking up ideas for your content, brainstorming with a team can be really helpful. If you’re stuck on what kind of content to create, try looking at popular trends and seeing if there’s anything you can add your own spin on. It’s also important to consider who your target audience is and what kind of messaging they’ll respond well to.
Once you’ve got some ideas down, the next step is actually creating the content itself. If writing isn’t your strong suit, don’t worry – there are plenty of other ways to create engagingcontent including videos, infographics, podcasts, and more. Whatever form yourcontent takes, make sure it’s well researched and offers value to your audience.

content creationfor beginners what works best? SEO orPPC?
There are many factors to consider when trying to determine which digital marketing strategy, SEO or PPC, will work best for your business. Here we will take a look at how each one benefits content creation for beginners.
SEO refers to search engine optimization and is the process of making sure your website appears as high up in the search engine results pages (SERPs) as possible. This can be achieved through optimizing your website’s title tags, meta descriptions, header tags, images etc. One benefit of SEO is that it helps you to attract organic traffic; that is, people who are already interested in what you have to say since they were actively searching for it online.
Another key advantage of using SEO techniques for content creation is that it can help improve your click-through rate (CTR). CTR measures how often people who see your listing in the SERP end up clicking on it and visiting your site; a higher CTR usually indicates that searchers find your result more relevant to their needs than other results on the page. By optimizing both your titles and descriptions so that they better match what people are actually searching for online, you can increase the chances of them clicking through to visit your site instead of someone else’s.
Meanwhile, Pay-Per-Click advertising (PPC) involves setting up ads on platforms like Google AdWords or Bing Ads and then paying those companies every time somebody clicks on one of those ads and visits your website as a result . A main reason why some businesses may choose PPC over SEO has to do with immediacy: unlike with SEO where there’s no guarantee how long it could take before seeing any ROI , running PPC campaigns generally provides quicker results since you start getting traffic right away from day one after launching an ad campaign . However keep in mind with paid advertising there is always going t be associated costs where with organic growth from implementing strong seo tactics over time will provide lasting sustainable growth without having pay per click cost.. In terms os scalability ppc allows easy scaling by just increasing budget wjereas good seo practices need continuous optimisation effortsto maintain rankings achieved an remain ahead od compeditors .. It’s #marioday (mar10). In honor, all of us should be playing #Mario games. Your friends, colleagues, mom, mailman, boss, dog, all of them.
This song is a train wreck, mainly because of the horrible production quality, though I do dig the intro. The long intro was the last segment added to the song, and it was meant to make up for the mediocrity that followed. It did not accomplish that goal, at least in my opinion.
The lyrics are generic teenage love phrases inspired by the pop-punk genre (@blink182, @yellowcard, @goodcharlotteband), whose lyrics often revolved around high school relationships.
The songwriting (chords, melodies, structure) is inspired by Metro Station (IG @metrostationmusic, twitter @metrostation).
The arbitrarily selected name Kitty was used for this song because I thought it would be weird / memorable. In hindsight, it’s kind of lame.
My brother and cousin sing in songs 5 - 7. We dabbled in the idea of forming a musical group called Fresh Like Whoa for a few months. The group had MySpace and Facebook pages, uploaded videos to YouTube, the whole shabang, but we ultimately broke up after a couple months. Similarly to today, I wanted 100% creative freedom, thus it was difficult for me to collaborate with a group (excerpt from post 5).
A messy high school breakup was being dealt with during the making of songs 5 - 8, something that many of you can relate to. Isn’t it fun? I’d estimate it took five years after the breakup for those emotions / tensions to reduce from boiling to room temperature (excerpt from post 5).
For these early songs, plagued with bad production quality, a lofi amp plugin was used on a majority of the vocals, making it sound like I’m singing through a crappy radio transmission. The lofi amp plugin sounded good to me at the time because it cut out low frequencies and accentuated mid-high range frequencies. Those results could have been accomplished with EQ, which would have avoided the lofi sound, but I didn’t know that that was an option. Also wouldn’t learn about adding compression to vocals until song 9. (excerpts from post 1).

Business owners and blog managers spend a lot of time or money, usually both, on SEO optimization and quality content.
The rule of "Content is King" reigns over the Internet How-To forums for bloggers like some kind of plague. As if they are saying, "the reason you aren't getting traffic is because your content sucks." But that isn't always the case, and everyone in this business knows it....Read more.

Even if you want to use it for fun, you’ll have to hope that it’ll work. The voice conversions it produces make for a good prank, but it doesn’t have any use outside of that. A poorly made appĬall Voice Changer Male to Female is a low-effort app that doesn’t care about quality. In a nutshell, navigating this app is a difficult. Interface elements aren’t scaled properly - icons are too small and there’s always a large empty space left on the screen. The layout of the app doesn’t make sense and the design has no coherence whatsoever. The app is plagued by issues and the most obvious of them is the horrible UI design. Every button press you make has around a second of delay before being registered. The app often freezes and when it doesn’t, it feels extremely slow. The voice transformations you create can be saved and set as a ringtone for your phone, assuming you even get it to work in the first place. Most voice conversions will either sound like a person possessed by a demon or a chipmunk from the film “Alvin and the Chipmunks.”īesides voice conversion, the app also allows users to make their creations a ringtone. Switching from one voice mode to another merely adjusts the pitch and speed of your recorded voice. Call Voice Changer Male to Female provides users with a sizable selection of voice transformations, but none of them produce anything of quality.

Common website design blunders
A company's website serves as the company's virtual storefront. Building an effective online presence requires a website that is both visually appealing and functional. So, it’s very likely that a boring or poorly designed website will hurt a company's image and lead to a drop in sales.
Most businesses hire a web design firm to get the best website design service because of the benefits of working with professionals in this field. But even if you are thinking of working with a professional design team to get on demand graphic design you should know the most common errors that designers make while working on websites. This will help you get the most out of your investment!
After all, a good website design will help you generate and convert leads. So without further ado let’s take a look at some of the most common web design blunders. Keep them in mind to reevaluate your website approach so that it generates the results you need:
Tumblr media
Design Overload
If a website is overwhelming or uninspiring, users may leave. A website should seem simple and uncluttered to visitors. A website's design should highlight a company's goods and services. Websites with plenty of photos, videos, and text load slowly. And this frustrates users. Overly crowded web designs with unorganized color palettes, fonts, and themes confuse consumers. Avoid busy designs like the plague. Instead, enlist the help of a professional web designer who will design a website that’s visually engaging and aligned with your brand's values.
Poor UX:
To improve the user experience of your website, it is critical to engage with a web developer to discover the areas that could hinder it. A true professional will address page readability, website loading speed, mobile compatibility, and improper navigation to improve user experience.
Insufficient Contact Info:
If a business wants consumers to contact, and build a relationship with, their company, they should provide proper contact information. Your site visitors may opt to purchase a product or use your services. But before they do so they may have questions that they need to contact you about. Or after they make a purchase they may need help. Thus it's crucial to have all relevant contact information clearly listed on your website. If visitors need to browse a lot for contact information, they'll likely leave your site and land on your competitor’s. "Contact Us" details or a contact form should be one click away or in the lower portion of every page.
Irrelevant Images:
Graphics and photos are important in web design because they quickly convey complicated concepts without language. If you use irrelevant or low-quality imagery in your website design that’s a surefire way to deter customers. Unrelated imagery will confuse your audience, and they’ll be left wondering what you're trying to say.
A graphic design firm never compromises its quality and always uses images connecting with your brand and website's content. In the same vein, they will select images that support your website’s overall goal, not pull focus or distract from that. And they’ll make sure each image is edited to become a unique and engaging component of your website’s design.
Conclusion:
Consider partnering with a graphic design firm for trusted website design services. This way you can be sure that you’ll walk away with an excellent website design. And if you need multiple iterations to A/B test, choose from one of the best unlimited graphic design service options to get more designs for less.

More healed AU please?
Heck yeah let's go!!
-Alcina-
-Her daughters discover malls and the internet. She's totally doomed.
-Her new abode is a lovely yellow mansion on one of many low sloping hills. Her favorite thing to do is walk through the grape arbors as the sun sets and enjoy this strange new freedom.
-Since they aren't allowed human blood, she sets her daughters to the task of eliminating the pests that plague her grapes. When people visit unexpectedly they think Alcina has a bunch of cats. The girls like to leave "gifts" just to bug her.
-Absolutely a neat freak. Will randomly grap servants and lift them up to show them a dusty surface they missed.
-Spoils and scolds her daughters in turn, as tough as she tries to be on them they inevitably get away with several war crimes.
-Donna-
-Eventually she gets the courage to open a little arts and crafts store, since even though her Etsy was monetarily profitable, she was still very alone.
-Pretends Angie's her ventriloquist dummy while she's working, people stare a little but her wares are top quality so they don't mind too much.
-Her scar does disturb people a bit, but one day when she's very low someone tells her it "looks badass". She can't stop smiling for the rest of the day.
-Has on the phone spa days with Alcina where they paint their nails and lovingly harass each othet for "not getting out more".
-Once she realizes you can paint whole rooms their is no stopping her, ever room in her house changes color so frequently most people wouldn't recognize it a week after they saw it.
-Admittedly most rooms are various shades of purple but no one could ever guess her favorite color. Right?
-Moreau-
-Has a love hate relationship with large bodies of water now. He's loved them since he first toddled into the ocean, but there's.... less positive memories associated with them now.
-Constantly paranoid that he's going to change back at any minute, feels peoples eyes on him constantly.
-On a happier note, he gets to see musicals! Live!
-He goes to every performance for every show within driving distance (and he's not above driving several hours).
-Starts, eventually, working as a doctor again. It'll take a long time though. Trust, especially self-trust, is easily shattered and not so easy to repair.
-Enjoys the little things the most. Humming without choking on his bile, walking around without stares, ordering food from someone other than the Duke! He's over the moon for life.
-Heisenburg-
-Practically lives in junk yards. I don't know if stealing from them is illegal, but he could NOT care less.
-Prep talks younger mechanics in a supposedly threatening way, but he comes off as a gruff dad who's not-so-secretly proud of you.
-Makes giant coffee makers with unnecessary features "Of course it needs to be able to bissect someone in half with a hot stream if coffee, what if my enemy wants a cup o' joe?"
-Watches those "making fictional tech real" Youtube videos all the time and critiques people methods in the comments to the point that he's been banned on several occasions.
-Very perturbed by the idea of a bed, since he just falls asleep wherever his body decides. Makes side eyes at it as he passes out on the floor again.
