The Boys Headcanons Part 1

Lineage Headcanons~

Her parents, Katarina and Ivan were also known as "The Russian Titans" known for their superhuman strength, superhuman durability, and their ability to manipulate and control the elements. Katarina had the power to summon and control lightning, while Ivan possessed the ability to manipulate and shape earth and stone.

Her older brother, Mikhail was born in 1950, born with Superhuman strength, superhuman durability and agility. Mikhail was the golden child who couldn't do wrong.

Much like their second eldest, Aleksandr which was born in 1955, much like his predecessors had Superhuman strength, superhuman durability and agility. He also had the ability to manipulate and control water.

Katarina and Ivan had twin daughters, Yelena and Octavia, born in 1958. Yelena inherited her mother's ability to manipulate and control electricity. She had precise control over lightning, which she could use to devastating effect. Yelena could disable electronics, create electrical barriers, and even use lightning as a weapon.

Octavia inherited her father Ivan's power to manipulate and shape earth and stone. This allowed her to move mountains, create seismic tremors, and shape the ground at will. Her abilities allowed her to create powerful barriers, control the terrain during battles, and unleash destructive earthquakes when needed.

Back Story Based Headcanons

Marianna was born in 1966, youngest member of the Volkova family, she got the Superhuman Strength, agility, speed and durability due to a unique combination of her bloodline being carefully selective and enhanced through advanced genetic engineering techniques. However her aging is so slow, appearing to be frozen in time when Vought Corporation discovered her when she was in an exchange student program in 1981 in New York, she was in high school still at the time and she said she'd consider it further once she graduated.

She trained in Sambo, Systema and Krav Maga even after her teen years passed by.

She got into cage fighting because her brothers introduced her to it to hope it would be enough to direct her hyperactivity somewhere else or in their words. "To ensure she would not burn the house down."

Despite her formidable physical abilities, Marianna had always felt like an outsider within her own family. While her siblings possessed unique elemental powers, she only had her enhanced physicality to rely on. This led her to develop a relentless drive to prove herself and find her place in the world.

Up until a fight with her brother, she only knew she had superhuman strength, agility, speed, and durability. But during that fight, something unexpected happened. She mimicked her older brother's Mikhail's powers. Which left her afraid, even after her older brother tried to comfort her. She was terrified when it happened the first time which led to her hiding for three days in her bedroom, refusing to come out.

During those three days, her older brother Mikhail told their parents what happened, and they decided to seek the help of Dr. Jonah Vogelbaum, a renowned scientist and expert in superhuman abilities. Dr. Vogelbaum conducted extensive tests on Marianna and discovered that she possessed the unique ability to mimic and absorb the powers of other superhumans. This ability had never been seen before and was a result of the advanced genetic engineering techniques used on her bloodline.

Driven by curiosity and the desire to understand her newfound abilities, Marianna agreed to undergo further experimentation under Dr. Vogelbaum's guidance. Over the next few years, she trained rigorously to control and harness her mimicry powers. She learned to selectively absorb the powers of other superhumans, allowing her to access their abilities temporarily.

Homelander and Marianna met the first time in 1991, when she was 25 and he was 10, they met the first time during a Vought-sponsored event where Marianna was demonstrating her powers to a select audience.

Between those events she got into wrestling, UFC, and other combat sports, using her enhanced physical abilities and newly acquired mimicry powers to dominate her opponents. She quickly gained fame and became a celebrated figure in the world of competitive fighting.

She became known as "The Silver Devil" in 1994, she was also given another title by butcher as "The Chameleon Warrior.", Frenchie called her "The Shapeshifter Queen,", Kimiko referred to her as "Sister."

Homelander's second encounter with her was in 2005, he was 24 years old and she was 39 years old. During an event which showed off her progress in terms of her mimicry, which was far more advanced than the last time she showed it off. Marianna's mimicry powers had evolved to a level where she could seamlessly absorb and utilize the powers of multiple superhumans at once. This impressive demonstration caught Homelander's attention, and he couldn't help but be intrigued by her abilities.

Marianna agreed to more testing and she was working on a Forensics Pathologist PhD at the same time, which allowed her to contribute to the scientific understanding of superhuman abilities. She became a valuable asset to Vought Corporation, assisting in the analysis of superhuman DNA and helping to develop new methods for enhancing and controlling powers.

Soldier Boy and Marianna met after he woke up in 2022, her statement of, "Welcome back to the land of the living old man." was a playful greeting as she approached Soldier Boy, who had just woken up from a long slumber. Marianna, still in her prime at 56 years old, had become a respected and influential figure within Vought Corporation. Her extensive knowledge of superhuman abilities, combined with her own unique mimicry powers, made her an invaluable asset in their pursuit of enhancing and controlling powers. She also stated, "A lot of things changed since you went to sleep in 84',"

NSFW Headcanons

Marianna plays heavy metal whenever she fucks, she specifically plays songs from either Black Sabbath, Iron Maiden, Metallica or Pantera.

She's a switch when it comes to being a dom or sub.

She has no problem using the safe word "red" if things get too intense.

She watches porn and she isn't ashamed to admit it either.

She has no problem with dirty talk. As long as she is not called a slut.

She is very open minded sexually.

Marianna is rather open with her bisexuality.

She had at least three previous partner's in her life time.

She's not ashamed of what she likes or how she likes it.

She doesn't have any problems with age differences.

She does not have any hangups about size differences.

She knows her limits and she will tell you about them.

She loves to tease men and women.

She loves to be blindfolded during sex.

She is also into hentai just much as porn.

She has a praise kink.

Homelander x Marianna Headcanons

Met again during Vought Sponsor event which featured Marianna as "The Silver Devil." For a Vought sponsored event, Marianna and Homelander are on the same team. They must work together to complete a series of challenges during the event. As they work together, they begin to respect and appreciate each other's abilities.

Likes to call him "Blondie" in reference to his blonde hair. Not to make fun of him, it was just the nickname that she felt was appropriate given the lack of information she had about him.

Marianna is the only person who can truly see Homelander as he is, good and bad. She's not judgmental and doesn't tolerate his nonsense.

Homelander and Marianna have a complicated relationship. They are both incredibly powerful Supes. However, they have very different approaches to using their powers. While Marianna is more playful and mischievous, Homelander is often ruthless and power-hungry.

Marianna has a great deal of fun teasing Homelander and poking fun at his ego. She knows that he is sensitive about his public image, yet she also understands that he secretly enjoys the attention she draws to him.

Homelander likes the way she expresses her disappointment in others, the way she raises an eyebrow and looks the human or supe up and down. She would also cross her arms if it was a supe or facepalm if it was a human. The sarcastic comments of "Sure, Let's go with that one, what's the harm in that?" or "I know you're making a mistake, but I'm not going to stop you." or "No, here I thought it would be good idea for your 'brilliant' plan. Go on lets hear it then."

If it happened to be a supe who had drawn her ire, Marianna would also cross her arms, a gesture that exuded authority and dominance. It was a physical manifestation of her disapproval, a non-verbal message that said, "You're not impressing anyone with that display."

7. However there have been moments were she was also rather dark, intimidating and relentless. These moments were rare like the moon's eclipse or a supermoon. In these moments she was well and truly angry. As its more of silent and brooding type of anger that simmers inside of her. Compared to his overt displays of aggression. The louder 'angry' parts were not her actually angry. It was just her pretending to be angry.

An Example of this was the aftermath of a rather bloody fight, Homelander walked in on the aftermath of it rather than the other way around with her seeing it. Her suit was covered in blood, despite the fact that it was black and the blood wasn't obvious due the two shades being rather dark. She wasn't wearing her mask, so her face was covered by it. She would just stand there for a solid fifteen minutes, staring at the bodies around her. "It's a shame it came to this, but at least it is done." she stated after fifteen minutes taking her glaive from one of them.

8. At a party at the home of a Vought executive, Homelander and Marianna are both invited. At the party, they meet a group of Supes who are all in the process of making an impression on each other. Homelander dislikes their superficiality and arrogance, but Marianna enjoys their antics.

Marianna's Behaviour Headcanons

To a human who is being cruel to another human, she might raise an eyebrow and give them a once-over, as if to say:

"Really? You're going to pick on someone weaker than you? That's pathetic."

"You're so insecure that you have to put others down to make yourself feel better?"

"You're so pathetic, I'm not even going to waste my time on you."

"You're so brave, picking on someone who can't defend themselves. Why don't you go find someone your own size?"

"You're so pathetic, I'm actually starting to pity you."

"Is everything alright at home? Maybe you should take a step back and look at your own life before you judge someone else's."

"Congratulations! You've just won the award for the biggest jerk on the planet."

"Go home, both of you, before you hurt yourselves."

To a Supe who is using their powers for evil, she might give them a cold stare and say:

"You're supposed to be a hero. What the hell are you doing?"

"Please, don't hurt yourself with that ego of yours."

"Oh, you're so powerful and invincible. I'm sure nothing could ever go wrong."

"Oh, look at you, Mr. High and Mighty Supe. You think you're so much better than humans, but you're nothing more than a bully."

"I hope you enjoy being a monster, because that's what you're becoming."

"You're supposed to be a protector, not a bully. How pathetic."

"Why don't you go find someone your own size? Oh, wait, you can't, because you're all cowards."

"Oh, that's perfectly normal. After all, you're a superhero. You can do whatever you want, right?"

"You're abusing your power. You should be ashamed of yourself."

"You're making all of us look bad. Stop it."

"You're a disgrace to all Supes."

"Maybe you should go back to where you came from."

To a supe picking on another Supe:

"What's the matter, kitten? Did someone steal your boyfriend?"

"Are you trying to prove something?"

"Is this your idea of a good time?"

"You're not very good at this, are you?"

"Why don't you just give up now?"

"I'm not sure what's more pathetic: the fact that you're picking on someone your own size, or the fact that you're doing it in front of an audience."

"Are you trying to impress your mommy and daddy?"

"Are you trying to make yourself feel better by putting someone else down?"

"Maybe you should stop wasting everyone's time and go back to whatever hole you crawled out of."

"Act your age not your damn shoe size."

To a Supe who is using their powers for evil and is about to kill Marianna:

"Do you really think you're getting away with this? There are people who care about me. They'll find you and make you pay."

"You're going to hell for this."

"I'm not afraid of you."

"You're not going to win."

"I forgive you."

"You're a disgrace to the Vought name."

"You're not a hero. You're a villain."

"You're no better than the criminals you're supposed to be fighting."

Bedroom Headcanons

Marianna has rubber ducks of different colours in a row on a display shelf. She owns at least 13 small rubber ducks so far.

She also has a poster of a giant duck with the word pathetic on it. On the door outside of her bedroom. [Reference]

She has a three monitor computer set-up office across from her bedroom. Which was consider an extension of her bedroom as there was only a curtain separating the two.

She has a draw full of precious gemstones that she likes the most.

The following were inside of the draw: Black Opal, Fire Opal, Crystal Opal, White Opal, Opalite, Sodalite, Azurite, Larimar, Malachite, Bloodstone, Moss Agate and a few others that are quite rare.

5. She has at least four polar bear faux blankets for winter stuffed into the drawers underneath her king sized bed. Just in case the thinner blankets she usually has on her bed wasn't enough.

6. She has a walk in wardrobe of mostly black clothes, the only clothes that are of other colours used to belong to her older brother Mikhail or Aleksandr.

7. She loves getting men's shirts with graphic prints on them to wear to bed and she has a large collection of them inside her wardrobe.

8. The two lamps on either side of her bed on the end tables are in the shape of one of her favourite flowers called, "Lily of the Valley." [Reference Picture].

9. She prefers to have either silk or satin bed sheets in either the colour burgundy red or black.

10. Most of the paintings in her bedroom are painted by her mother.

Now, readers who play Female MCs will be given choice to insert their own feminine form of custom surnames! 🎉

Hi guys, I know that hours ago, I updated the game with a minor update to fix the pre-set surname “Kozlov” so female MCs will also automatically get “Kozlova” instead while the MC’s dad will still have the masculine form, “Kozlov”.

Now, I’ve fiddled with the code a bit more and let readers who play female MCs to be able to insert their own feminine version of custom surname! How it will work is that first, you’ll be asked to insert your dad’s surname, and you’ll insert the masculine version of the surname. If you play female MC, you’ll be asked further to confirm whether you use the same version of surname as your dad, or whether you use the feminine version of the surname. If you pick that you use the feminine version, it’ll enable you to insert your own feminine version.

For example, you want to use the surname “Volkova” for your female MC, you’ll first insert the surname “Volkov” for your dad, and then when you choose that you use the feminine version, you’ll be brought to the screen to insert the femine version, “Volkova”.

I hope this will further increase immersion for readers who wish to use Slavic surnames while still keeping the naming conventions! 😄❤️

Before the devastating plane crash in 2008, Travis ate anything like everyone else. After this she started a vegetarian diet as Travis was eating meat all the time in the hospital which shows his physical weakness, after that he decided to continue his vegan lifestyle. And he never changes his lifestyle. Because he realizes that he does not want to eat meat and animal products and enjoys it.

Travis Barker has said in interviews that the vegan lifestyle gives him endless energy, which is great for someone new to veganism.

Shadow and Bone: A Rant

With the new Netflix series coming out, my social media has been flooded with Shadow and Bone content. Don't get me wrong, I'm excited for the show, and I like Leigh Bardugo as an author and I thought Six of Crows was phenomenal but Shadow and Bone was disappointing for me to say the least. And here is why.

Disclaimer: If you like the book and the story and I am all for that, and I am not trying to put down anyone that likes the series. I liked the magic system in the story and the world-building was really good.

But there were concrete things that as an individual who is of Russian descent and grew up with the culture, that just SHATTERED my suspension of disbelief and took me out of the story entirely. In the end, I couldn't finish the series. So without further ado, in descending order of what bothered me the most to least:

1) The character Privet.

So for a book that takes elements from the Slavic cultures and Eastern European languages using this was jarring. Privet literally translates to 'Hi' from Russian. So reading "Hello, Privet" in book two literally translated in my mind to "Hello, hi" which is ridiculous and just broke my suspension of disbelief. I tried reading through the part, but it was so jarring that I quit the book. Not even Nikolai, who I really really liked, could save it for me.

2) The Grammar of the Ravkan Language.

I can't speak for all Slavic languages, I only know Russian so I am going to speak mostly in reference to that.

So for context Russian, like French or Spanish, is a gendered language. It's a bit different from French in that it has 3 types of pronouns: the feminine, masculine, and ungendered. And depending on the gender of your object you would change the ending of the previous word (such as an adjective) to match it.

(So for example: Sky is ungendered in Russian, so if you want to say blue sky you would use the ungendered version of the word blue. )

In Ravkan, what ended up happening was that Leigh mashed different words of different genders together so it sounds grammatically incorrect. And you might say its grammar it's no big deal, but I'll counter with: "I am become a blade"

We all make fun of Mal for getting that tattoo because to an English speaker that is intuitively incorrect so it sounds bad. I got the same level of cringe every time I read Skanta Ilya Morozova.

To break that down:

Ilya is a male name.

Sankta: ends with an A so female-gendered

Morozova: ends with an A so female-gendered.

Russian last names change ending depending on if you are a male or female. So Morozov (male) vs Morozova (female); Volkov (male) vs Volkova (female) and so on.

So having this compound of Sankta (that's setting up my mind to expect a female name) Ilya (a male name. I'm thinking okay that's kind of weird but I'll go with it) Morozova (female again? So now I'm confused did Leigh think Ilya is a female name?)

Reading that kind of stuff over and over again is like getting hit with "I am become a blade" type grammar over and over again. It's cringy, it sounds wrong, just no. I ask that Leigh would take at least 2 seconds to do the basic research on this gendering system or ask a Slavic language speaker about this. It would have been a quick fix (just add or take away the 'a' at the end) and would have shown that she took the time to research and respect the language. And it would not alienate a whole group of readers like myself.

3) Kvas.

This is another thing that just took me out of the story, and considering that this happened in the first chapter that's pretty bad. In the book, Kvas was portrayed as an alcoholic drink that the soldiers were drinking to get drunk and to 'warm up' during the winter. And just...no.

Kvas is a real drink. Also, Kvas has an alcohol content of 1.5%. Sure if it stands in the heat for a while and ferments the alcohol content can go up to 2.5% but still, you would have to drink A LOT of it to get drunk and you sure won't be "warming up" from it like you would with whisky or vodka. To put this into context you can buy Kvas at grocery stores in North America without needing an ID and kids can drink it without getting drunk (kefir has an alcohol content of 2.5% FYI).

Kvas is a very popular drink in Russia, and people drink it in the summer. It's like the Russian version of America's Iced Tea.

So now she takes a real drink that exists that she had access to and just what? Makes it something else? Especially something that is so common in the Slavic countries that's virtually ubiquitous there?

This was also an easy fix: describe Kvas as it is. If you wanted them drunk have them drink vodka. If you wanted them warm to warm up but not be drunk have them drink tea (if you didn't know tea also a popular drink in Russia). Either of those would be more realistic alternatives that wouldn't shatter the suspension of disbelief for me because now I would have to take time and think "WTF? Did she really mean that or did I misread that?"

If you've read this far down, thanks for reading my rant. Once again I want to reiterate I have nothing against anyone that likes the books or the series. I think that Leigh is an amazing writer and I'm really excited for the Shadow and Bone show (but mainly because of the Crows lol). It's just that seeing these kinds of things in the Shadow and Bone book really upset me because, to be honest, Russia is always portrayed as the 'bad guy' in popular media. They are always the villain, Russia is always portrayed grey and cold and dirty and everyone there is a drunk, and growing up in North America being from Russia watching that really sucked because I identify with that culture, I'm from that country, I know the language, and often times what they show on TV is just wrong. I was excited to see a Slavic-inspired world because I don't usually see that in fantasy or other media and it was just handled so badly. So, I was a bit disappointed when reading the books. Hopefully, the show is better on that front but we will see.

Pairing: Billy Hargrove x Volkova [Female Reader]

Summary: Billy finds comfort in his girlfriend's apartment, after a particular bad night with his father, a yelling match ensued between the two of them and it ended up with his father shoving him into the bookshelf. Leading him to run out of the house, heart pounding and tears streaming down his face. Desperate for solace and support, Billy seeks refuge at Volkova's apartment.

I parked my car into the driveway, I was fifteen minutes late and Max wasn't there to pick her up, so I didn't bother waiting around for her to show up in the school's parking lot. I waited fifteen minutes for her, there was no sign of her. Figuring she must have found someone else to take her home or decided to use her skateboard to get back home.

I walked into the house, I sighed relieved, my father wasn't home until much later as he was a security guard for a bank. In turn caused him to work odd hours, during this week he would return home in the mid to late evenings. I made my way to my bedroom and started drinking beer. As the afternoon continued marching forward, alcohol dulled the senses and numbed the constant pain.

I was training to become a lifeguard at Hawkin's Community Pool. Which engulfed and taken over my afternoons, Volkova worked at a diner late at night to put towards her education and I didn't want to be stuck here forever. I didn't want to stay here in Hawkins forever. I wanted to move back to California, where we used to live and the place I loved more than any other.

My father walked into my bedroom, Susan stood in the doorway behind him, they were looking for Max by the looks of it.

"What the hell, Billy? Where's Max?" My father's voice boomed, his words laced with anger and disappointment. I could feel my pulse quickening, my body tensing up.

"I don't know, alright? She wasn't at school, and I didn't see her when I left," I replied, my voice strained. I had been late picking her up, and now it seemed like everything was falling apart.

"You're her brother! It's your responsibility to look out for her!" he shouted, his face turning red with fury.

"It's not my responsibility to take care of her every second of the day!" I shot back, my own anger starting to bubble to the surface. "She's perfectly capable of taking care of herself."

My father's eyes narrowed, and he took a step toward me. "You think you're so damn important, don't you? You think you can just do whatever the hell you want without consequences?"

"Say sorry to Susan for your disrespectful behaviour," he stated shoving me into the shelves behind me, pushing a little hard each time he said it and by the last push, my back was against the shelves I was about to cry.

"I'm sorry Susan." I replied, I didn't want to apologize to her and I certainly didn't want to get hit in the face again.

"Go find Max!" Neil stated, my father didn't want me to come back until I got her back home.

It felt like my heart was caught up inside of my lungs, my face felt hot and my tears stung the corners of my eyes.

"Billy, what happened? Are you okay?" Her voice was filled with worry as she gently placed her hands on my arms, her touch grounding me in the midst of my turmoil.

"I… I had a fight with my dad," I managed to choke out, my voice wavering. "It… it got physical this time."

"Did he hurt you?" She asked, frowning concerned and I could see the worry etched onto her features like a painting. "Do I need to beat him up for you?" she added trying to ease the tension.

I couldn't help but let out a small chuckle, despite the heaviness in my heart. Volkova had a way of injecting humor into even the darkest moments. Her dark humor was like a balm for my soul.

"No need for that, he's not worth it." I replied chuckling at her remark.

"Well, I suppose we should get something to eat then? My treat." She replied going to a quiet booth away from the prying eyes of others around us.

We sat in comfortable silence, taking solace in each other's presence. Volkova knew when to offer comfort and when to give space. It was one of the things I loved most about her.

"You know, sometimes I wish I could escape from this town," I said, my voice barely above a whisper. "Start fresh somewhere far away."

I'm Not Sure How Late, But I'll Be There, I'll be there waiting for you no matter what time it is and no matter how dark things get. We can find our way out of this darkness together.

"Thank you for being here for me," I whispered, my voice filled with gratitude. "You're my light in the darkness."

Pairing: Steve Harrington x Volkova [Female Reader]

Author's Note: I hope you like these headcanons. If you want more let me know.

Steve Harrington and Volkova are an unlikely pair, contrasting personalities, experiences and aesthetics. Combination of the three bring them together in a way that defies expectations.

Despite Volkova's intimidating presence struck a cord with Steve's protective nature as it comes to the forefront when he sees Volkova's intimidating presence and the way people respond to her and around her.

Volkova's dry and dark sense of humor resonates with his sarcastic and humorous nature. Often engaging in playful banter and witty remarks with each other. Thus creating a dynamic and entertaining relationship.

Volkova's multilingualism adds an extra layer of connection between her and Steve. He finds joy in learning Russian phrases from her and tries his best to communicate in her mother tongue. They often have playful moments where they teach each other words and phrases, creating a unique bond through language.

"English is the third language I learned, so it's going to be pretty hard for me to fully grasp all the nuances of the English language," Volkova admitted after Dustin introduced her to him.

When they first met, Steve was shining a flash light in her face and she could only manage to say, "Stop flashing me, I do not like. Do not like." in a heavy Russian accent. As she was with Dustin at the time. "Small one speak, please." she added to Dustin this time.

Dustin met her that afternoon, "Condolences on your loss." She said talking about his cat. "My cat died recently too." she added.

5. Volkova is a horror movie thrill seeker, often watching horror movies during the night to make it an extra spooky atmosphere. Often paying for movie tickets to horror movies and paying for dinner afterwards.

6. Volkova loves cooking food for Steve, mainly traditional Russian cuisine dishes like borscht, pelmeni, and blini. The first dish she made for him were the cottage cheese pancakes called, Blini.

7. Steve shows Volkova his favourite American dishes like cheeseburgers, milkshakes, and apple pie. He takes her to his favorite diners and burger joints, introducing her to the classic American comfort food that he loves. He often says, "You've got to try this, it's a classic American delicacy!" as he excitedly takes her to different food spots.

8. Volkova is the one to apologize first when it comes to any disagreement, she might have been right or wrong, either way. She values his feelings above all else.

"I'm sorry if I made you feel unhappy or upset." Volkova said after giving him space to calm down. "I apologize if I said anything that might have hurt or upset you. As it was never my intention to do so. I care about you, above whether the fact I was either right or wrong, I hope you can forgive me."

Steve replied, "Of course, Volkova. I appreciate your apology. I understand that your intention was never to hurt me. You mean a lot to me, and I value our relationship. I forgive you. I hope we can move forward and continue to support and care for each other."

9. Volkova moves into her own place first, although due to her parents being far away they preferred to buy it rather than have her rent it from someone else. Her parents stated this in a letter to her.

Dearest Marianna Volkova,

I hope this letter finds you well. I know how much you've been wanting your own space, a place to call your own, and I couldn't be happier for you. When I found this apartment, I knew it was perfect for you. It's cozy and comfortable, just like home back in Russia and I know its difficult being away from Russia during this time. I certainly hope you can forgive us for not being able to physically be there with you. As I know how much you would have preferred to cook for us as you used to growing up, circumstances have kept us apart. Nonetheless, we hope this small token of our love and support will make you feel closer to home. Remember, no matter the distance, our hearts are always with you.

P.S. I loved the last letter you sent. - Mom.

10. Volkova invites Steve to see the apartment the day she got it from her parents, long before they moved in together three days after moving into it. Saying over the phone, "I haven't done much to decorate yet, so don't get your hopes up."

11. She insists on paying for movie dates and dinner afterwards because she loved spoiling him as they were seeing a scary movie or thriller. Steve however, doesn't mind and often treats her to some dinners too.

12. Volkova is the big spoon sometimes, often asking before going to sleep that night as she wraps her arms around Steve, "Can I be the big spoon tonight?" Steve chuckles and happily obliges, feeling comforted and loved in her embrace.

13. Volkova being 6'4 and she is a giant compared to Steve's height, he absolutely adores it. He finds her both height and presence fascinating. He loves how she towers over him. Jokingly refers to her as his "giant Russian goddess". Steve also loves to playfully tease her about it too.

14. Volkova is taught MMA kickboxing after she got into America because of her intimidating presence and desire to learn a new skill to defend herself. She said this to her father first, "Dad, guess what I learned today? I found a kickboxing gym near our place, and I signed up for classes. I want to learn how to protect myself and stay fit. Don't worry, I'll be careful and take it seriously. I love you dad."

15. Volkova loves Halloween in America, the first time she experienced it was before they got together. Her new friends at the time, stated "It was like giving a second Christmas to a child." As she never celebrated Halloween before moving to America from Russia.

"I never got the chance, as its not a thing in Russia, now I absolutely love it," - Volkova hyped up on three cups of coffee.

16. Volkova learned the Violin and Piano due to her parents being wealthy and wanting to be seen as high-class individuals in their social circles. She now just uses both for lullabies for Steve, playing soothing melodies to help him relax and fall asleep.

17. They start off cuddling and end up spooning after falling asleep. Feeling warmth, comfort within each other's presence during the night. Slowly becoming a routine they're unaware of, as Steve is the morning person out of the two of them.

18. Volkova is saving up for collage so she can get into it without worrying about going into debt. She works at a diner to get enough work experience to work somewhere else with higher pay during high school, often helping in the kitchen at the back due to the owners fearing the community backlash if they were to hire her as a waitress. As her Russian accent would have made her an easy target for discrimination.

1. Marianna [The female reader] grew up in a rather wealthy family, the second eldest of four children. Often left in the care of nannies or staff due to her parents busy, social and political lifestyle.

2. She grew up in a rather opulent mansion, surrounded by art, history, and a collection of rare and macabre artifacts. The mansion, passed down through generations, housed a vast library that became Marianna's sanctuary and escape from the stifling social expectations of her family.

3. As a child, Marianna displayed an early fascination with the macabre and the mysterious. She was drawn to stories of mythical creatures, ancient folklore, and tales of darkness and death. This fascination led her to immerse herself in literature, studying the works of authors like H.P. Lovecraft, Edgar Allan Poe, and Bram Stoker, which further fueled her interest in the unknown and the supernatural.

4. Marianna has a son, Luka Volkov, born when she was in her early twenties when she was dating Mikhail Ivanov, a renowned Russian artist. Despite their passionate relationship, they ultimately grew apart due to their conflicting personalities and ambitions. Marianna was dedicated to her studies and art, while Mikhail was often preoccupied with his own career. After their separation, Marianna took full custody of Luka, and though she adores her son, she is also fiercely protective of her independence and personal space.

5. Luka is deeply important to Marianna, and she does her best to balance her responsibilities as a mother with her own pursuits. She instills in him a love for art, literature, and critical thinking, nurturing his intellectual curiosity. Despite being emotionally reserved, Marianna cherishes the moments she spends with her son, and their bond is one of mutual understanding and respect.

6. Her second born is a girl, name Masha Volkova born in 2003, while she was in a rather brief relationship with Arthur Smith. Which made Masha is a Russian-American, born in the United States. Marianna's relationship with Arthur was passionate but short-lived, and they eventually went their separate ways. However, Marianna maintains a cordial relationship with Arthur and is actively involved in Masha's life, despite the distance between them.

7. She bought her home in Baltimore, Maryland and relocated there with her children, Luka and Masha, after accepting a position as a professor at a prestigious university. Baltimore's rich history and dark allure appealed to Marianna, making it the perfect place for her to delve into her academic pursuits while still indulging in her fascination with the mysterious and macabre.

8. Luka was initially resistant to the move, he quickly adapted to his new surroundings. He is 17 and Masha is 10 years old when the move occurred. Despite the busy schedule, she made sure to enroll Luka in a reputable school and support his interests and aspirations. Masha was still in primary school so she took on the responsibility of homeschooling her for a brief period until she found the right school for her.

9. Whenever Luka wants to have his nails painted, Marianna gladly does it for him and often stating, "Which colour did you want to go with this time?" Which is usually met with excitement from Luka, as he enjoys the bonding time with his mother. Marianna takes pride in breaking traditional gender norms and encourages her children to express themselves authentically.

10. If Luka wanted to wear a dress, she would often make sure they were custom made to fit his tastes, and would support his decision without hesitation. Marianna firmly believes that individuals should be free to express themselves and embrace their true selves, regardless of societal expectations or gender norms. No expense was ever left to ensure her children felt loved, accepted, and supported in their individuality.

Likes - Food

American hot sauce: Mainly because of the fiery and intense flavour it has.

Spicy Food: She loves spicy food, the spicier the better and the spicier the food. The more likely she is to enjoy it.

Cravings: She gets cravings for spicy chicken wings, Pepsi and Sweet Potato chips when she gets stressed or overwhelmed.

Coffee: Prefers to have her coffee with cream and sugar rather than black. Warmth and richness of coffee is two of the things she loves about it.

Dining Alone: Enjoys dining alone in cafes, quiet restaurants where she can indulge without having another person watch her eat.

Trying New Things: She loves trying new dishes from other cultures

Likes - Dresses

Dark, Gothic-Style: A penchant for wearing dark, gothic-inspired dresses with intricate lace, velvet and corsetry. Often choosing dresses evoking mystery and allure. Embracing a dark aesthetic.

Rich Colours: Deep, Rich colours like burgundy, purple, emerald green, midnight blue and black.

High Collars: Dresses with high collars usually catch her eye more often when they look like came out of the Victorian or Gothic era. Finding them to be a combination of elegance and sophistication.

Prefers floral dresses in Pink and Red: Enjoys wearing pink floral dresses with long tulle sleeves and a 3d floral embroidery. These often have deep v-cut neckline and pearl beads or intricate beadwork, creating a delicate and enchanting look.

Dislikes - Food

Fast Food: She dislikes fast food and prefers to indulge in carefully prepared and flavorful dishes.

Bland Food: Marianna dislikes bland or tasteless food, as she enjoys bold and intense flavors.
