I think what's so interesting about Gideon as a narrator at the anniversary dinner is the fact that there's clearly tensions that she's just not picking up on because she's only there to eat a dessert.
But these people are all the immensely powerful leaders of the Houses and consider themselves to be in competition for literal godlike powers and the favour of the emperor.
There's so many little snippets that are potentially intriguing: why is Teacher trying to prime the Ninth to consider the Fifth a threat? Why are the Third and the Sixth "sizing each other up like prizefighters"? The Fifth absolutely knew what they were doing when they sat the teen heads of the opposing cults near each other.
Through Gideon's lens, Magnus' speech is a little awkward jokey thing. But...the seneschal of the House that is known to be actively trying to absorb another House is saying it's such a shame they're all so remote from each other and what do they all have in common (and it's so quiet you "could have heard a hair flutter to the floor") - that had to feel a bit different to people who aren't Gideon.
Palamedes' is dissecting the meaning of "Master Warden" and at one point compares it to a prison warden. 'Dulcinea' asking about whether Magnus and Abigail have children is perhaps less small talk and rather more pointedly political. Harrow's apparently stilted conversation with Protesilaus is clearly her actually probing his limitations like he's a bad Chat GPT-run chatbot.
And then 'Dulcinea' tells Gideon she liked the dinner because it was "useful". In her typical "I never lied to you" way, Cyth wasn't lying when she said Abigail had to die because of her hobby - Abigail Pent let loose on the Facility would have risked blowing Cyth's cover sky high. But what does a Canaan House look like where after the dinner party, the Fifth go down to the facility, get a key, and survive to continue their 'the Houses are going to get along or else' agenda? We've seen Fifth House soft power on a smaller scale in HTN: and it looks like inviting a teenager round for coffee, lulling her into a false sense of security with small talk, and then physically preventing her from leaving the room until she does what you want, while smiling the entire time. A series of little coffee chats could probably have led to a lot of cooperation in Canaan House, one way or another.
Gideon jokes about Silas marrying Ianthe because of their similar colour pallete, but it does raise the fact that there seems to be some tension around the Third, its succession, and the *point* of Ianthe. Why is Silas openly saying Ianthe should have died at birth? Combined with Judith's comments in the Cohort Intelligence Files about succession on the Third, it feels like there's something else being said here that Gideon isn't picking up on.
And of course, Harrow wasn't the only one desperate to become a Lyctor because her con was unsustainable. Presumably at some point Corona and Ianthe would be expected to marry, or at least take on more separate roles as Corona prepared to take over the throne and Ianthe was funneled off elsewhere. At some point, their package deal would have become unsustainable and Corona's cover would have been blown. But much as Harrow wants to become a Lyctor so she can reveal the state of the Ninth without repercussions, Ianthe is probably in part motivated to become a Lyctor for the same reason. Because otherwise, what would Ianthe's expected role have been? Amidst the suggestion of anxiety about the Idan succession, the dinner party also presents the fact that the reason Abigail and Magnus' infertility isn't a succession crisis for the ruling family of the Fifth is that Abigail's younger brother dutifully married in his early 20s and had kids. We know there are branch families in Ida - Babs is from one. He may be a prince, but he's not treated well, and you do get the sense that the stakes to stay in power in Ida are high.
We don't learn anything about the political situation in the Houses themselves during HTN or NTN, but in the wake of Canaan House, you have to suspect there are a number of tensions and concerns.

How to be like Jang Wonyoung
Tumblr media Tumblr media
As many of you requested, part 2 of my it girls series is all about Jang Wonyeong, who's not only absolutely STUNNING, but also incredibly talented, hardworking, and of course successful. Let's get right into it!! <33
Wonyoungs Energy:
Wonyoung is incredibly charismatic, which makes her stand out without even trying!!
She has a bubbly and likeable Personality, Wonyoung appears happy and welcoming, she easily lights up a room with just her presence.
Aside from being cute and cheerful, Wonyoung is also known for being extremely hardworking!!
Confident and Unbothered. Despite receiving quite a bit of unnecessary hate, Wonyoung stays indifferent and true to herself!!
Elegant and feminine. No one does the ‘Elegant feminine self-love girly’ aesthetic like her, she is THE girly girl!! <3
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Mindset:
Learn to deal with jealousy, Wonyoung gets plenty of hate, but let's be real for a second… we all know that is because of jealousy. Pretty, successful, smart, and popular? Of course, people will be jealous!!
“While practising self-love, you see good and pretty things about yourself. If I focus only on those things, I don't need to pay much attention to the criticism.”
Don't compare yourself to others “You are you, I am me”.
Keep to yourself. Stop telling people your ideas, your dreams and how you plan to archive them, your goals etc. Let your actions speak for themself!! <3
No more negative self-talk!!
Be your number 1 priority!! Take care of yourself, do what's good for you, eat well, care for your body, skincare, haircare, and your education!! PRIORITIES
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Skincare
Skincare. Wonyoung has Flawless skin, finding a skincare routine that works for you can help you archive similar results!!
Wonyoungs skincare routine:
According to Google, Wonyoung only uses Innisfree products and starts by double cleansing her face, for that, she uses the Green Tea Cleansing Oil ($24), and the Green Tea Amino Acid Face Cleanser ($12)
To get the dewy class skin effect, hydration is key!! In the morning, Wonyoung likes using the Green Tea Hyaluronic Acid Serum ($30) and the Dewy Glow Tone-up Cream ($26)
Of course, you can't forget SPF. Wonyoung uses the Mild Cica Sunscreen Tone-Up SPF 50+ PA ++++, which is also great for acne-prone and sensitive skin types!! :)
For her night routine, she likes the Retinol Cica Moisture Recovery Serum ($37) and the Dewy Glow Jelly Cream ($26).
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Elevate your daily life:
Healthy diet. Eating nutritious and healthy food is the first and most important step to clear skin and an overall good feeling!! Make sure to eat enough protein (ex. yoghurt, chicken, tofu or eggs), lots of fruits and veggies, and healthy fats (ex. Avocados, fish, nuts, olive oil)!!
Exercise daily. Besides dancing, Wonyoung loves pilates!! You can find lots of great Pilates videos on YouTube!!
Work on your posture!! Having good posture will not only make you feel better but also lets you appear more confident, elegant and put together. Try daily stretching and exercises to improve it <3
Try establishing a proper morning and night routine, this can help you stay structured and relaxed even on more messy and busy days.
Content that makes you feel better!! Start watching channels like thewizardliz, vogue beauty secrets, and read motivating blogs. (like mine lol <3)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Makeup:
Wonyoung is known for her iconic glittery and feminine make-up!!
Light pink blush, plump lips, glowy skin and a glittery but not too heavy eye look.
Foundation on the centre of your face and blend outwards for a naturally contoured look.
Always apply your matt products before your shimmers, that way, your makeup looks cleaner!! Also, apply your glitters from finest to chunkiest. :)
Don't apply your shimmers/glitters past the middle of your eyelid to avoid looking puffy.
If you have warm-toned skin, go for peachy glitters, for cool-toned skin, choose a champagne-coloured one.
If your struggle with dark under eyes, blend your concealer with your fingers!! This will give it a lot more coverage.
You can find lots of tutorials on Wonyoung-inspired make-up on YouTube, this one is my favourite.
I hope this little guide was helpful, I wasn't too familiar with Wonyoung, but I did some research since she was the number 1 most requested person for this!! :)
As always, please feel free to share your own suggestions in the comments and let me know who you want me to write about next! <3

Can u make a study guide in elle woods and hermione
what, like it's hard?: the ultimate guide to studying like Elle woods and Hermione granger
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Elle Woods
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
1. romanticize study
put yourself in the spirit of Elle Wood. transform your study space into a sanctuary of style. choose colorful and original school supplies. make your school your Fashion show! why? This will allow you to romanticize the lessons as much as possible and also to relax and be in a good mood before lessons. to motivate yourself in your revision, write your lessons correctly, write the important words in red, take extra care of your writing and finally make your notes more aesthetic with highlighters.
2. study with other people
Elle knew how to build relationships with her classmates and rely on them to improve. So don't hesitate to work with other people, it will allow you to share or acquire knowledge, receive or give explanations when you don't understand something.
3. made sacrifices
Elle Woods stopped parties with her friends to concentrate on her studies. I'm not telling you to stop all contact with your friends but simply to know how to organize your time to reconcile everything.
4. find a study method
Elle Woods used self-assessment as a method. This allowed her to identify her shortcomings (know what you need to improve on the most and what you don't need a lot of hours of revision), to plan your revisions (know what you need to work on the most). I advise you to do a self-assessment every day up to and including the day before your test to see your progress, to be more and more efficient to achieve excellence on the day of the test.
5.find your motivation
Elle Woods had a reason to work, I advise you to find your reason to succeed in your studies and make yourself proud. You have confidence in yourself, recognize your value and persevere! Even if you get a bad grade in a subject, don't give up and work more in that subject.
Hermione granger
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
1. organization
the key to Hermione's success is her organization. identify important deadlines, plan your revision time using a calendar or diary. identify your priorities and take time for each task.
2.discipline
Hermione has a common sense which allows her to prioritize studies rather than futile things which can distract her. She focuses on her learning objectives so try to follow her example by eliminating distractions and focusing on your studies.step away from your phone and fight temptation and study.
3. learns with avidity
Hermione loves to learn learn. She has an insatiable thirst for knowledge and is not afraid to dive into books to find the answers to her questions. So awaken this thirst for learning in you and don't worry not happy to skim over the subjects. do some extra research, ask questions, and push yourself to dig deeper.
4.good time management
hermione is the queen of time management. she uses every little minute wisely without wasting time. To study like her, you have to do the same. Plan your study time intelligently and efficiently. Set goals for each session and use concentration techniques like the pomodoro technique. but hey, don't panic if you have trouble sticking to your schedule sometimes, stay flexible and adjust your plan if necessary.
5. the key to success is perseverance!
Hermione never gives up, no matter the obstacles that stand in her way, she remains focused and does everything to achieve her academic goals. So you must do the same. When things get difficult, don't let it get you down. persevere in your studies and remember that each small step brings you closer to your ultimate goal.

Part Five: Love Is A Four Letter Word
Series Masterlist
Warnings: smut, language, couple fighting, references to drugs and alcohol, mentions of violence
A/N: A lot of backstory in this part...
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Jack knew it was fucked up.
He knew giving you the key card, sleeping with you, starting a relationship, leading you on, while he was supposedly committed to someone else, was fucked up. An act of rebellion of the lowest form.
Jack was miserable. Had been for a long time. His life leading up till that night was a culmination of his mistakes and cowardice, and he felt helpless. He was looking for an outlet for his frustration, an escape, and it wasn't even as if he was targeting you specifically. He just saw your smile, the way you held the attention of the room, and he was drawn to you. The rest was devastating history.
You were at the wrong place, the wrong time, with the right one.
Even then, it was never his intention to hurt you. His motives weren't pure, he'd admit that with no hesitation, but the feelings he had for you were, and as much as he wanted to tell you how much he cared about you, it'd be like burning down a house after carelessly lighting a candle; it didn't matter what he intended to do once the damage was done.
He could tell you how sorry he was, that he loved you and he wished things were different, but as he watched you unravel in front of him, collapsed to the ground as he told you he was going to marry someone else, someone you both knew he didn't want to be with, he knew it would be in vain.
You don't treat people you love like this.
****
Jack and Claire's relationship read like it was plucked out of a really bad romance novel plot, by design.
They ran in different circles; Claire was a one percenter, an elite among New York's elite, and Jack was just some kid from Louisville who was clinging to the name he'd made for himself in the music industry. At least, that's what he told himself. He didn't like to think about the fact that he was complicit in the façade that was their relationship.
There was a time where you couldn't go a day without seeing Claire in the tabloids, strung out in front of 1Oak on the arm of some B-List actor. What she considered to be a normal for her 20s, meant trouble for her father. His only daughter was supposed to take over the Barbour-Beckham publishing company, his legacy, but she couldn't even stay sober for more than 24 hours. Something had to change, and fast.
Over the next couple months, Claire underwent an image change that even Lindsay Lohan's publicist would have been impressed by. She traded her nights out for charity events, hard liquor for disgusting green smoothies, and before she knew it, there wasn't a person in New York City who could remember the old Claire.
But old habits die hard, and there wasn't a photo op in the world that could change the fact that Claire was bad for business. Her future was dependent on convincing a bunch of old, conservative men that a woman was capable of leading a company. Claire knew that the only way the public would truly accept her was if she appeared to be but a mouthpiece for the board, unassuming and passive.
It was purely a business decision to pivot her image to wife and mother. It would keep her in the public eye- people love to gawk at a new wife and mother, praise or condemn how attentive she is to her husband and how quickly her post-partum body bounces back, but they would disregard her, as they do all mothers, and it was at that point she would take over at Barbour-Beckham. Now all she needed was to find someone desperate enough to agree to her terms.
She chose Jack because there was something homegrown about him. He was rich and successful, a chart topper in the music industry, but it was all hidden underneath his southern charm. He kept his nose clean, both literally and figuratively, and he didn't overshadow her. Underneath it all, he was a good person, and she could use that to her advantage.
****
They met for the first time at Atlantic Records.
Jack's career was stalling, to put it nicely, and he was desperate to climb back to the top. Sure, he had solidified himself as a bona fide rapper in the industry, but long gone were the days of letting the music speak for itself. If he wanted to stay in the game, he was forced to compete with every new one-hit-wonder who blew up on TikTok, and it wasn't how he wanted to operate. He was running late for a meeting with Jason, and as he entered the conference room, he realized quickly that this was an ambush.
"Jack, this is Mr. Beckham, CEO of Barbour-Beckham publishing, and on the board for Atlantic." Jason ushered Jack into the room when he noticed him hesitate. Jack scanned the room. He knew the face, not the name. "and his daughter, Claire." Claire he knew, at least of her. He had come across her a couple times at different clubs around the city, but based on the state she was in each time, he doubted she had a sharp memory. He nodded to both of them, taking a seat with a huff. "What is this? Some kind of intervention?" Jack let out a humorless laugh as he studied Claire's face. She couldn't hold eye contact for longer than a second, her gaze dropping to her hands.
"More like a business opportunity, Mr. Harlow." Claire's father cut through the silence. "I'm gonna get straight to the point. Its no secret that you aren't the artist you used to be a couple of years ago, Jack." Jack smirked, shifting uncomfortably in his seat. "If anything, recently, you've become a liability to Atlantic Records. There is no tenure for an artist here. Either you perform or we replace you." Jack glanced over at Jason, who was visibly nervous. "This is off to a great start." He muttered out, running a hand through the curls at the back of his neck.
"If you were anyone else, we would have dropped you from the label already, but we recognize your value here, and we're hoping we can come to an agreement that both parties are happy with." Jack straightened up in his seat. "What do you want? I'm working on an album we can put out by the end of the year. I'll do the press circuit, a tour, whatever it takes."
"There will be time for all that. Right now, its more important that you prove how loyal you are to Atlantic." Jack was throwing glances at Claire, whose gaze was burning a hole in his chest. "I would say 10 years of record sales has been more than proof." He'd had enough of the stares, turning his body toward Claire, who flinched. "Is there a reason she's here?" He narrowed his eyes at her, trying to read her face.
"The company thinks it'd be in your best interest to enter into a public relationship with Claire." Jack didn't even bother to look at Jason as he spoke. "It will be good for your image to show that you're in a committed relationship with someone of Ms. Beckham's status. People love a new IT couple." Jack's stomach turned. They didn't care about his career, he was just going to be a pawn in a much larger game. "While you're dating, you will promote his album and Claire will continue to be a pillar in the community."
Jack gripped the arms of his chair, the heat creeping up his neck. There was no way he could say yes to this. It went against everything he believed as an artist and a person.
"No. There's no way that I'm going to be an industry plant. The rumors were bad enough when I was starting out, I'll be damned if I prove them right." He pushed his chair away, standing to exit the room. "Sorry you wasted your time." Jason let out a sharp breath as he watched his client walk out the door.
"Jack, wait." He heard Claire's voice trailing behind him as he walked to the elevator. He had no intentions on turning around. She caught the elevator door just as it was about to close. "Jack, I get it. Its a lot, but-"
Jack cut her off. "Does that really feel right to you? Pretending to be in love with someone just so you can look good in front of people?"
"Neither of us got to where we are now because of love, Jack. If I've learned anything, its that love is a fleeting feeling that eventually leaves you feeling empty and alone. I know you don't want to let your career die because of a feeling." Claire crossed her arms over her chest.
"You don't know anything about me." Jack bit back.
"You're right. We're strangers. But I do know my father. He doesn't like to be told no, and I have no doubt that he will step on you to get what he wants." Jack knew that was a threat. "This is so much bigger than a couple of pictures for the paparazzi. You say no to this and people will quickly forget all about Jack Harlow."
Jack bit the inside of his cheek. He didn't want to be buried, he didn't want to be forgotten. He'd worked too hard to get where he was to lie down and and let them steamroll him. If he said yes, at least he was still in the game, and he could control the outcome. There was a kid from Louisville who only wanted to rap for as long as he could remember, that he had to make proud.
"Only in public. In private, we don't talk to each other." A grin slipped on Claire's face. "Agreed. Its purely for show."
****
At first it was fine. Holding hands as they left a restaurant together. A couple strategic paparazzi photos that were conveniently sent to every major publication in the country. The thought of it made Jack's skin crawl, but his career was finally on the up and up. Jack sacrificed his privacy and in turn, Atlantic gave him access to some of the best producers and mixers in the industry, and he was able to get back to making music; the only thing he truly cared about.
Their very public first kiss was on the cover of every major magazine, and the public was starting to fall in love with them. They spent a lot of time together, for the publicity, and Claire's father suggested that Jack move into Claire's Upper East side penthouse so there were no holes in their story. Their PR relationship was quickly becoming real, and as much as he hated himself for it, he thought he was the only one who could possibly get caught in the crossfire, and he was more than willing to sacrifice himself for his career.
The first hit came about six months into their relationship.
"What the hell is this?" Jack slammed the door to Claire's office closed, making her jump. He slammed a magazine down on her desk, knocking over her cup of coffee. He was fuming, his chest puffed out with each breath. "Jack, listen, I didn't get a chance to tell you yet. They just published it this morning."
"Claire Beckham saves Jack Harlow from crippling alcohol addiction", his voiced boomed through the room as he read the headline. "What the fuck? I don't have a drinking problem. I've been purposely sober for years."
"Claire stood, holding her hands out in defense. "My father thought it would be a good idea to dangle a headline out there for the public. Your music career has been tanking, so you turn back to drinking to ease your pain, until I come in. Everyone loves a redemption story. How love saved Jack Harlow from being a washup, clinging to the bottle." She spoke as if she was pitching a movie idea; the excitement in her eyes terrified Jack.
"I didn't sign up for this." Jack ran his fingers through his messy curls, raking his hands down his face. "Oh, but you did, baby." Claire lifted herself up to sit on her desk. "I didn't see you complaining when your new single went #1. In fact, I think I remember you being very excited." Jack ripped the magazine as he tightened it in his grip. "I was doing that before we ever started this shit. I'm still a good musician." The laugh Claire let out sent a shiver down Jack's spine.
"Jack, you agreed to play the game. This is it, this is the game. Its messy and its humbling, but its working. You're back at the top, and I am your perfect girlfriend." He scoffed, feeling every muscle tightening at her words.
"I want out of the game. Tell your father I'm done." He turned on his heels toward the door. "Fine. The public is going to love this next headline." Her words made him stop in his tracks. "What headline?" He threw over his shoulder. "Jack Harlow embezzles millions from Barbour-Beckham company, uses Claire Beckham to steal from her father. There won't be a record company in the country that will speak with you after that comes out."
Within a second, Jack had crossed the room. Claire let out a sharp gasp as she came chest to chest with him. His voice was a low growl. "Would you really do this just to save your ass? Are you really that fucked up?"
"I think the question you need to ask yourself is, what wouldn't I do to save myself?" Claire retorted, her gaze dropping to Jack's lips. Jack was seething, disgusted with the person in front of him. He didn't even have time to react as she crashed her mouth with his, their teeth clinking together as she roughly kissed him. Jack pushed Claire away, his face contorted with repulsion.
"What the fuck is wrong with you?!" He cried out, wiping at his mouth. "I thought- I thought that you-", Claire pressed her fingertips to her lips, realizing she'd read the situation terribly wrong. "You are fucked in the head if you think I could ever actually like you. You disgust me." Jack's words were laced with venom and hatred.
Much like her father, Claire was used to getting what she wanted, and she wanted Jack. Whether or not he wanted her back didn't matter to her. "Play the game, Jack, or I'll destroy you." Claire gritted out between clenched teeth. "Now, get out of my office."
Jack had to resist punching his fist through the wall, he'd never felt this much rage before. His vision began to tunnel, forcing him to cling to the wall, a sharp pain radiating through his chest. He was panicking, the ringing in his ears almost bringing him to his knees. He wanted out of this relationship, needed to get out, slowly feeling his sanity slip away, with no one to blame but himself.
****
Claire was right; Jack had never been hotter. His album was set to be the best selling of his career, and he was hitting milestones he'd only dreamt of during his early days. He should've been incredibly happy, but he was indifferent to it all, just going through the motions.
He could never admit it to himself, but Jack was terrified. He was scared that he had gotten himself in too deep and there wasn't a way out of it. There was no way he could take on Claire and her father by himself, and every day she reminded him just how insignificant he was. There was no use in fighting if you already knew you weren't going to win.
So he kept up the façade in public, and in private, he did anything he could to numb himself. He enjoyed the company of any woman that was willing to sign an NDA, and quickly became jaded towards sex and intimacy, slowly watching himself become someone he promised himself he'd never turn into.
The night he met you, he could tell that you were unhappy.
Most people would tell you there's no way you can tell someone's emotional state just from looking at them, but Jack had quickly learned over the last few months just how much sadness weighed on the body. He didn't even recognize himself in the mirror, the way his shoulders slumped over with exhaustion, the bags under his eyes reminders of the nightmares he'd been having over the last couple of weeks. You had packaged it under a beautiful face and a pretty dress, but to him, the discontent was obvious.
When you showed up to his hotel room that night, you all but signed your soul over to the devil.
You could throw a fit in front of him all you wanted, try to convince yourself that you showed up to his room out of principle, deny your wants and needs to save face, but he knew better. You were looking for someone to take command, make you forget about the monotony for even a second, and he was desperate to feel some semblance of control again.
****
The first night was a fluke. He had every intention on using and abusing you, and forgetting you ever existed.
Actually doing that proved to be harder than he expected. After you left, he couldn't focus on anything but you. He could shut his eyes and clearly see your face, his hand ghosting over the bulge in his pants. He closed his eyes and began stroking his cock to the thought of you. The way your mouth felt around him, and how pretty you looked down on your knees. The way your face contorted with pleasure as you came around your hand. How willing you were to submit to his every demand. He was cumming in his hand purely to the thought of it. Power and control were coursing through his veins, and God, did it feel good.
His eyes shot open to the sound of the door opening, Claire emerging from the doorway. Jack quickly covered himself up as she entered the room. "What are you doing here? How did you even find me?" He slipped a sweatshirt over his head, sitting back down on the edge of the bed. He'd been staying in different hotels around the city for the past couple of weeks, anything to avoid having to spend another night with Claire.
"You should know you can't go anywhere anymore." Jack groaned, knowing that he'd probably been caught leaving the hotel by one of the many paparazzi who was stalking him. "What do you want?"
"The girl in the elevator, one of your latest?" Claire's tone was laced with jealousy. He hadn't even been trying to hide his escapades from Claire. He got a sick enjoyment out of her knowing that he'd fuck pretty much anyone but her. Jack raked a hand through his curls. "That's none of your fucking business."
"It is my business if you get caught with her. Everyone likes to blame the girlfriend when the man cheats." Jack let out a humorless laugh as he stood, his jaw flexing. Claire staggering back as he walked toward her. She talked a big game, but that's all it was, talk. "Do you ever get tired of being such a bitch?", he spat at her.
"Cute." Claire pressed her lips together in a hard line. She turned on her heels toward the door, grabbing the handle before she turned back to Jack. "Make sure she signed an NDA. Can't let this fall back on us in the future when she decides she wants to capitalize on sleeping with Jack Harlow."
The next day, he knew seeing you again was a risk, but he didn't care. He was mostly doing it to spite Claire, but he also couldn't get you out of his head. Jack was quickly becoming addicted to the way you made him feel, a deep craving to see you writhe beneath him before he cut you off for good. He put the flowers on Claire's credit card, knowing she'd see the charge and put two and two together.
You came crawling back without any hesitation, and at first he felt a nagging guilt, knowing he was taking advantage of you in a vulnerable state, but as he felt you cum around him for the second time that night, he realized that you wanted this escape just as much as he did. It was so easy to get you here, to fuck you senseless night after night, because you wanted to be here. The phone call later that night all but confirmed it. He'd underestimated just how intelligent you were, but most of all, just how addicted you were to the way he made you feel as well.
You were walking into the lion's den on your own accord. You just didn't know how dangerous it was yet.

MY VOID STATE SUCCESS STORY (🦩 anon)
Before I went to bed I played my favorite law of assumption videos just to boost my motivation. Once I was done with that I basically gave my self a pep talk saying why wouldn’t I get in the void, I was made to be successful and have all my desires, if other people can do it then duh I can do it because I am special. I played a meditation by kim velez (seen from another success story) it was a long video so I knew it wasn’t going to cut off. I got into a comfortable position since I knew I wasn’t going to be able to move. I counted to 300 and said affirmations after each number. I can’t remember all but I definitely used ones like the void state is so easy, I get into the void state in 2 minutes, everything is easy for me, I am in the void state already, and more. At some point my hands felt gone in a way. I imagined that feeling spreading throughout my body as I continued affirming and counting. Once that finally happened it really clicked to me that I am actually doing it and that void is real and without a doubt I said the void state is SO easy to enter then that’s when I felt a complete shift and realized I was in. I only said the affirmation I have everything I desire right now then intended to wake up at 8am when I’m ready to get out of void but I low key stayed in longer because it felt so peaceful. Like it’s so unexplainable for me it was such a nice feeling like I wouldn’t mind entering every night just to feel that again. Even if I don’t plan on manifesting things. So on to what I manifested
🌼 Completely changing my appearance. From head to toe. My desired face was different features from different celebrities so I was nervous about looking weird but I look 10x better than I imagined. For my body I manifested ruby roses body but with bigger tits. I also changed my skin tone to be lighter and even.
🌼 Completely changing my family. I changed their appearance to fit mines so I wouldn’t look adopted or something. Also I changed their personalities so we can finally have a great relationship and lastly I manifested an older brother and little sisters that are twins. I already had enough siblings but I wanted more.
🌼 My boy friend. I used to create scenarios with him in my head to fall asleep and now I fall asleep to him rubbing on my body. I had the biggest crush on him before and thought I’d never have him now he’s all mines and better than ever! I was going to manifest that we already been dating for 2 years but I didn’t know how that was gonna work so I just manifested that we was already dating for a week before I successfully shifted I guess you can say.
🌼 My own car and a new house. It’s not a big ass mansion it’s just a way bigger and cuter house than my last which I love! I got my own bathroom attached to my room and never have to worry about siblings ruining my bathroom again. And I got a car that my parents let me do whatever I want with! I can leave whenever I want, come back whenever I want. I am really living my best life with no rules.
🌼 Being really good in sports. I wanted to be one of those athletic girls so I manifested being super good in basketball, tennis, volleyball, and cheer.
🌼 Other than those I manifested clothes, money, longer hair, different personality, always smelling so good, and literally so much more.
I can’t thank you enough cleo 💓 I think I will go back in void tonight but idek what to manifest. Maybe it’ll be a family vacation to somewhere super expensive lol.
the rubi rose body part made me giggle cus that’s literally the dreammm bod omg😭🙌🏽 IM SO HAPPY FOR YOU!!! i just know your living it tf up. vacation suggestions- you should go some where in the caribbean’s 🤎🤎

So I started to think about Salem's relationship with Cinder and I think that relationship is a whole lot more complicated than "Salem cares about Cinder like her own child" and "Salem only wants to use Cinder until she's no longer useful."
Like, Salem tends to back Cinder up, even when she fails. Whether its all a manipulation tactic or not is all kinda up in the air, but there does seem to be a little degree of care when she talked about Cinder being the key to her victory. And what really blurs that line is the manipulation she does end up using on Cinder. She'll go from inflicting pain and yelling at Cinder to becoming the softest person that Cinder has ever known at a flip of a switch and keeping her firm under her thumb for as long as she's needed.
On the flip side, I dont think Cinder sees Salem as a mother figure as much as she sees Salem as a savior or a goddess of sorts. Her main motive to following Salem is power, a chance at a new world that keeps her from being in the same spot that she was in before. When she's calm, she can be calculating, putting a plan into motion over the span of months without anyone figuring out the full scope of her plan until its in motion. But at the same time, she's impulsive and reckless and even more so when she's angry or finds something that she wants. If its to kill Ruby or to go after a maiden's power, she'll disobey Salem's direct orders to stay or to leave someone alone/alive in order to try to get what she wants.
Both of them are using each other for their own reasons, and while Cinder thinks their goals align, Salem is only using her as a pawn until she's no longer useful, for the most part. But there does still seem to be some genuine care when Cinder follows her part of the plan that doest seem to be fully manipulative. After her failure to fully complete her mission in Vale, Salem still praises that failure as a success and seems to have made sure that Cinder was able to get back to Evernight safely and gave her enough time to recover before sending her back out.
This whole dynamic between the two of them is fucked up in so many ways, and yet, its the dynamic I want to see pushed to the limit, to see how far Cinder can push until Salem no longer deems her necessary or as a key to this victory. To find out what exactly is Salem's breaking point for Cinder and for Cinder to find out whatever truth Salem has planned for the relics.
And maybe a way for Cinder to finally realize that the power and freedom she's after is going to have a cost too great for her to pay.

Academia AU Pt.1 (Eris Vanserra x Reader)
After another successful, though exhausting class taught, I clutch my Stanley cup and take it off my desk, eager to make it to the English department meeting. I hoped the meeting would be over soon so that I could make it back to my apartment to read my latest romance novel I checked out from the library.
As an English professor at Prythian University, my personal interests tend to creep into my curriculum, and I like it that way! I want my students to love reading, and the best way to do that is to get them to read something they’ll be interested in. Something they’ll relate to. Something they’d read already without me getting involved.
I recently included manga in my curriculum after my brief stint working with kids. My all-time favorite student absolutely loved Naruto. Like, devoured the mangas because he loved the anime. Little kids and university students aren’t that different- intrinsic motivation is the key to reaching them.
As I reach closer to the room the meeting will be held in, I unscrew my Stanley cup and take a sip.
“Well, well, well,” a familiar voice drawls, and I almost spit out my water. On him. Although…I might really love that, it might actually make him unfairly hotter. With his bright red hair, amber eyes, and the gorgeous planes of his face, he didn’t need me splashing water onto his white button down, revealing probably ripped abs. Eris Vanserra, the worst English professor at this university.
It’s not that he’s bad at teaching, although that would be an enormous plus and give me another reason to hate him. He’s actually a huge hardass when it comes to assignments and grading. What’s most infuriating about him is his inability to recognize that what I do matters just as much as what he does.
“Drag yourself away from lecturing about childrens’ books?” he asks. “You are aware that this is a university, not an elementary school.” Fuck him. Fuck him, fuck him, fuck him.
“As if children’s literature isn’t a recognized genre,” I say.
“Just admit it. You just want to go easy on your students. Coddle them and give them easy A’s so they’ll like you,” he says.
My mouth drops open at that insulting remark. How dare he? “What would you have me do? Assign them stuff I know they hate so they won’t read it at all?”
He rolls his eyes. “Ever heard of giving them a poor grade? It’s how they learn not to do that.”
“I’m surprised you still have enough students to fill a class,” I retort.
“Because my students take their education seriously, unlike yours. Yours wouldn’t last a week in mine.” With that, he breezes into the room, not bothering to talk to anyone else. Why would he? With his father being the Chair of the English Department, he has no reason to schmooze.
Speaking of, his father, Beron, takes the podium. I quickly find a seat near the front, far, far away from Eris.
“Welcome, Prythian University English Department. It is with the utmost despondency that I announce my upcoming retirement. Next semester, I will no longer be Chair of the English Department. I’m growing old, and I want to spend my next years away from academia after my many years serving this university. That being said, one of you will be replacing me. I hope the next generation will continue the legacy of this great university,” Beron says.
I think it over. This is a leadership position, which all my life I’ve always craved. I’d love to get this job. I would still teach my students but also get to impact the curriculum that gets taught here. I have my Romance Novels, Children’s Literature, and my one class dedicated to manga and graphic novels, as well as Creative Writing classes in Poetry, Fiction, and Nonfiction. I could make sure that these classes stay at the university, and that there’s more like them in the future. Not only that, I could make sure that we get advanced playwriting and screenwriting classes, as well as more funding for the more fun and creative classes.
After Beron goes over all the requirements for the position, the meeting disperses. I gather up my stuff and leave. Unfortunately as soon as I leave the room I run smack into Eris.
“Don’t even think about it, bunny,” he says, tweaking one of my ears. “The position’s mine.”
“Fuck off,” I say. “I deserve this way more than you do.”
“And why’s that?” he raises an eyebrow.
“Cause you’re tired. Boring. And stale. Oh sorry, I meant what you teach,” I say, suppressing a smile.
“And in thousands of years, no one will care what you teach,” he says. “Even now what you’re doing’s a waste of time. So why don’t you throw in the towel now so you don’t get hurt.”
“The only one who will get hurt is you when you don’t get the chair position,” I say.
“Oh,” he breathes. “Is that so, bunny?” Before I could react, he backs me into the wall. “You really think what I teach holds no value?”
“I didn’t say no value,” I protest.
“Uh-uh, don’t go back on it,” he wheedles, pressing me into the wall. “You said tired. Boring, and stale, was it? And what do you think is so much better? Those romance novels you teach?”
I let out a breath. “I didn’t know you kept such tabs on my curriculum.”
He chuckles. “How can I not keep track of everything that’s wasting university money that should go to me?”
The sheer arrogance of him. “Sounds like you’re obsessed with me.”
He smirks. “As if you’re not obsessed with me, darling.”
“Fuck. You.”
“Don’t you wish you would,” he whispers. “Love looks not with the eyes, but with the mind.” He runs a thumb over my cheek. “It’s not from one of your romance novels, but you look pretty flustered to me,” he comments.
I bite the inside of my cheek to keep from blushing further. “Fuck off,” I say. Even I’m not immune to a fucking Shakespeare quote, but did he seriously think I was dumb enough not to recognize it?  “I have to plan what I’m going to say to the English department heads to convince them to choose me to be the next chair.”
His eyes darken. “Including my father.”
I snort. “So? I’m not going to give up just because your father might give it to you out of nepotism.”
“You really don’t know my father, do you?” he asks.
“No,” I admit. “But I know my stuff. So watch out.”
“Oh I will, bunny,” he assures me, his eyes running the length of my body. “I will.”

Hey! I don't know if you've done a post on this already, and if you have, I'm sorry for asking again. But how do you practice discipline and self-control? It's something I struggle with a lot :/
I actually want to answer this a bit differently. We always opt to describing habits you need to adopt to be more disciplined, as well as tools and techniques. Things like, setting goals, creating a routine, setting a schedule, prioritizing, etc.
But no one ever talks about the mindset you need to have. It goes back to why we aren't disciplined in the first place.
For example, to be discipline you need:
Commitment: You need to be committed to your goals and the actions necessary to achieve them. This means being willing to make sacrifices and persevere through challenges.
Self-awareness: You need to be aware of your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors to recognize when you're losing focus or engaging in self-defeating behaviors. This can help you make conscious choices and adjust your actions accordingly.
Focus on the long-term: Having discipline and self-control often requires sacrificing short-term gratification for long-term gains. You need to be able to keep your eye on the big picture and avoid getting sidetracked by immediate pleasures or distractions.
Positive attitude: A positive attitude can help you stay motivated and resilient, even when facing obstacles or setbacks. Cultivate a growth mindset, embrace challenges as opportunities to learn, and celebrate your successes along the way.
Consistency: Discipline and self-control require consistent effort over time. Establishing a routine and sticking to it can help you build habits that support your goals.
But why aren't we disciplined?
Most people don't really have goals. Or their goals are so high and far from attainable in comparison to where they are now. Discipline is tied to confidence. We achieve a small task, we realize its possible... boosts confidence. Next task is a little bigger etc.
Because most don't do this there is:
Lack of motivation: Without a clear goal or strong motivation, it can be difficult to stay focused and disciplined. People may struggle to find a compelling reason to pursue their goals or to maintain the effort required to achieve them.
Poor time management: Without effective time management skills, it can be challenging to prioritize tasks and avoid distractions. People may struggle to balance competing demands on their time, leading to procrastination or incomplete tasks.
Negative self-talk: Negative self-talk can undermine motivation and confidence, making it difficult to maintain discipline. People may doubt their abilities or focus too much on their shortcomings, leading to feelings of frustration or hopelessness.
To overcome these barriers, people need to learn several key skills, including:
Goal-setting: Setting clear, achievable goals can help people stay motivated and focused. By breaking down larger goals into smaller, achievable steps, people can build momentum and stay engaged in the process.
Time management: Effective time management involves setting priorities, avoiding distractions, and scheduling tasks to maximize productivity. People can learn strategies such as batching tasks, setting deadlines, and using tools like calendars or productivity apps to stay organized and on track.
Positive self-talk: By cultivating a positive attitude and practicing self-compassion, people can develop the resilience needed to maintain discipline. Learning to reframe negative thoughts and focus on strengths and accomplishments can help people stay motivated and maintain their commitment to their goals.
Same goes with lack of self control. We lack self control because we are addicted to dopamine highs. We are quite literally not in control of our own lives, and are fueled by extreme emotions. You need to really want something. Accept delayed gratification. Motivate yourself by the end result and most importantly HOLD yourself accountable. Which will happen once you believe that you are truly able to achieve what you want.

How To Be Punctual in Your Life
Punctuality is a key ingredient for success in both personal and professional spheres. Being consistently on time reflects responsibility, reliability, and effective time management. If you find yourself struggling with punctuality, fear not – cultivating this habit is entirely achievable with a few mindful practices.
Tumblr media
1. Set Realistic Goals and Prioritize:
Start by setting achievable goals and prioritizing tasks. Clearly define your objectives and allocate sufficient time for each. This not only prevents procrastination but also helps in managing your schedule more effectively.
2. Create a Schedule:
Develop a daily or weekly schedule to organize your time. Allocate specific time slots for various activities, including work, leisure, and personal commitments. Stick to this schedule as closely as possible to build a routine that encourages punctuality.
3. Use Technology to Your Advantage:
Leverage technology to set reminders and alarms for important tasks or appointments. Calendar apps, task management tools, and alarms on your phone can serve as powerful aids in keeping you on track and on time.
4. Account for Buffer Time:
Life is unpredictable, and unforeseen events can disrupt even the best-laid plans. Always include buffer time in your schedule to account for unexpected delays. This provides a safety net and helps you stay punctual despite potential disruptions.
5. Break Down Tasks:
When facing a large or complex task, break it down into smaller, manageable components. This not only makes the task less overwhelming but also allows you to allocate time more efficiently, reducing the likelihood of running late.
6. Develop the Habit of Early Arrival:
Aim to arrive a few minutes early to appointments and commitments. This not only demonstrates respect for other people's time but also allows you to handle any last-minute issues that may arise without causing delays.
7. Learn to Say No:
Overcommitting yourself can lead to stress and tardiness. Learn to say no when necessary, and be realistic about your capacity to take on additional responsibilities. This ensures that you can fulfill your existing commitments without compromising punctuality.
8. Reflect and Adjust:
Regularly reflect on your punctuality habits and assess areas for improvement. If you notice recurring patterns of lateness, identify the underlying causes and adjust your strategies accordingly. Continuous self-reflection is essential for personal growth.
9. Reward Yourself for Punctuality:
Positive reinforcement can be a powerful motivator. Celebrate your punctuality successes, whether big or small, and reward yourself. This helps reinforce the habit and makes being on time a more enjoyable experience.
Conclusion:
In a world where time is a precious commodity, mastering punctuality is a skill that pays dividends in personal and professional realms. By setting realistic goals, creating a schedule, utilizing technology, accounting for buffer time, and fostering the habit of early arrival, you can transform punctuality from a challenge into a habit that enhances your life in myriad ways. Remember, small changes lead to big results – start your journey towards a more punctual life today.

My Mega-Ultimate Guide To Law Of Assumption!
If I miss anything feel free to reblog and tell me :-) this is my first post so I’m a bit nervous lmao
Table Of Contents
LOA TERMS W/ MEANING
LOA MEANING
WHAT YOU NEED TO MANIFEST
IllOGICAL MANIFESTATIONS
WHY THE LAW WORKS
MOTIVATION
HOW I MANIFESTED WIND POWERS USING UNKNOWINGLY USING THE LAW
LIST OF THINGS TO MANIFEST
EXTRA INFO
1. LOA TEMRS W/ Meaning
(Got some of these off Google lmao)
3D = The reality that we see
4D = The reality in our heads (our imagination)
Affirmations = positive statements in the present tense that relate to what it is you want to manifest
Wish Fulfilled = A state where you know your wish has been granted
Placebo = Every time you do something/Something happens it makes your desire happen (Example: Every time I touch my skin my skin becomes 10x clearer)
Scripting = Writing about your desire as if they have already been reached
Repetition = Repeating
2. Law Of Assumption Meaning
(Again, off google)
The Law of Assumption states that whatever you assume as true becomes your reality. So the key to using the Law of Assumption to manifest your desires is to assume the feeling of your wish fulfilled
So basically if you assume you get 500 dollars every day, you’ll get 500 dollars everyday!
3. What You Need To Manifest
NOTHING BUT YOUR MIND!
You literally need nothing else but your mind to manifest! You don’t need to talk, twerk, write (you can but it’s optional), read a dictionary, nah, nope, not even close! You literally, literally, LITERALLY don’t need to lift a finger! All you really need is a desire in mind! Then just KNOW it’s yours! Because it is sweetheart!
4. Illogical Manifestations
But I want manifest something illogical! Can I still do it?
Yes! Like who tf said you couldn’t? I get it, because we are taught from a young age that superpowers and shit don’t exist, but I’m here to Tell you…they do, if you believe they do! Now I know what your thinking “THATS BULL!” but let me tell you, there are many, many, many success stories of people manifesting so many illogical things! Superpowers, Being not human, hell! I heard someone manifested being able to stay alive without eating! If THEY can manifest all that shit, why can’t you?!
5. Why The Law Works
Because it’s the law…like dude, it has to work
Think about this…
Robbing banks is illegal, so we don’t want to do that! It’s against the law. If we do we will be wanted for the rest of our lives!
Same thing with the law! Not getting our desire is against the law! So we HAVE to get our desires! No matter what!
6. Motivation
Look…
Take what I just told you, let it sink in…
You can get anything you want with your mind! Sounds crazy right? But it’s real! So why aren’t you applying what you know into your life?! Don’t be afraid of your desires! You want them for a reason! Also! (For the people that do this)
👏🏿 STOP 👏🏿 OVER 👏🏿 CONSUMING 👏🏿 INFO 👏🏿 AND 👏🏿 JUST 👏🏿 START 👏🏿 APPLYING 👏🏿
Like dude! You already know everything! JUST MANIFEST IT ALREADY! ITS LITERALLY AS EASY AS 123!
7. How I Unknowingly Manifested Wind Powers
This was way fucking before I know about the law, or any laws…
So I believed in magic and powers and shit because I wanted to, it seemed fun! That was until my friend’s introduced me to superpowers!
So then I decided that I wanted wind powers (since I’m a Libra). So every single day I would go outside and practice. No matter what my mom said or anyone said, my one belief was.
I have wind powers, and if I keep practicing I’ll strengthen them!
So after a while I was able to do wind blasts (in a way) it was so cool! Of course it took a while because another belief I had was that it would take a while…see where I’m getting at?
My beliefs had an impact on my manifestation
But no matter what the limiting belief was
I still got my desire (my wind powers)
8. Ideas Of Things To Manifest (Won’t Update)
Glow up
Go to Hogwarts (in your cr, it’s possible)
Time travel
Fame
Being a siren/mermaid/merman
Being a vampire
Being a fairy/pixie
A new season for your favorite show
Manifest any illness away
Revise the death of a pet or human
Revise your grades
Manifest a certain video game
Manifest being a billionaire
Manifest your reality shift
Manifest your respawn
Revise your trauma (if you have any)
Manifest magic into your life
Manifest a fairy godmother or fair godfather
Manifest being a decedent of royalty
Manifest a magical wardrobe
Manifest a secret room in your house
Manifest a lucid dream
Manifest your dream skills
Manifest a palace/castle/mansion/house (works even if your underage)
Manifest stranger things
STAR IN STRANGER THINGS!
Manifest a superpower
Manifest going into the void
Manifest meeting a celebrity
Manifest your LIFA APP
Manifest infinite currency in your fav game!
9. Extras (quick info)
You can manifest as fast as overnight or even faster!
It doesn’t matter what it is! You can breathe in space if you want to!
Do what you need to do to manifest (script, methods, meditate, repetition of affs, subliminals, ignoring the 3D, etc) no matter what, your desire is there! It’s yours!
It doesn’t matter what anyone else says about manifestation, they aren’t manifesting your desire! You are!
Don’t depend on others, you know what to do already!
So with that out the way
👏🏿 START 👏🏿 APPLYING 👏🏿 RIGHT 👏🏿 NOW! 👏🏿
This was my mega ultimate guide on manifesting! I hope you learned something! Happy manifesting!

The Impact of Psychological Health on Weight Loss Diet Success
Tumblr media
تأثير الصحة النفسية على نجاح النظام الغذائي لإنقاص الوزن
وإليك نظرة عامة:
Understanding the Connection Between Psychological Health and Weight Loss
The Role of Stress and Emotional Well-being in Dieting Success
Overcoming Psychological Barriers to Sustainable Weight Loss
Mindful Eating and Its Impact on Psychological Health and Weight Loss
The Influence of Self-esteem and Body Image on Diet Success
The Power of Positive Thinking in Achieving Weight Loss Goals
Addressing Emotional Eating and Stress-induced Food Cravings
Coping Strategies for Dealing with Emotional Challenges During Weight Loss Journey
Seeking Professional Help: The Importance of Mental Health Support in Weight Management
Incorporating Mind-Body Practices for Holistic Wellness and Successful Weight Loss
Understanding the Connection Between Psychological Health and Weight Loss
I believe that psychological health plays a crucial role in the success of weight loss diets. Here are some key points to consider:
Emotional Eating: Emotional well-being can impact eating habits. Stress, anxiety, or depression can lead to emotional eating, where food is used as a coping mechanism.
Motivation and Discipline: A positive mindset and strong mental health are vital for staying motivated and disciplined throughout a weight loss journey.
Self-image: How we perceive ourselves can affect our weight loss efforts. Positive self-image is linked to better adherence to healthy habits.
Stress Management: Effective stress management techniques can prevent emotional eating and promote healthier choices.
Support System: Surrounding yourself with a supportive network can enhance psychological well-being and increase weight loss success.
Understanding and addressing the connection between psychological health and weight loss is essential for achieving sustainable results.
The Role of Stress and Emotional Well-being in Dieting Success
I believe that managing stress is crucial for successful weight loss. When we are stressed, our bodies release cortisol, a hormone that can lead to weight gain, especially around the midsection. Stress can also trigger emotional eating, causing us to reach for comfort foods high in sugar and fat.
To improve emotional well-being while dieting, I suggest practicing mindfulness techniques such as deep breathing, meditation, or yoga. These activities can help reduce stress levels and prevent emotional eating episodes. Additionally, seeking support from a counselor or therapist can be beneficial in addressing underlying emotional issues that may contribute to unhealthy eating habits.
Overall, taking care of our emotional health is just as important as monitoring our food intake when it comes to achieving successful weight loss.
Overcoming Psychological Barriers to Sustainable Weight Loss
I believe that addressing psychological barriers is crucial for achieving long-term success in weight loss. To overcome these barriers, I focus on the following strategies:
Identifying Triggers: I pinpoint situations or emotions that lead to unhealthy eating habits.
Building Resilience: I work on developing coping mechanisms to deal with stress or negative emotions without turning to food.
Setting Realistic Goals: I set achievable targets to prevent feelings of failure that may hinder progress.
Practicing Mindfulness: I cultivate mindfulness to foster better awareness of my eating behaviors and emotions.
By actively working on these aspects, I can overcome psychological barriers and maintain sustainable weight loss successfully.
Mindful Eating and Its Impact on Psychological Health and Weight Loss
I have found that practicing mindful eating can have a significant impact on both psychological health and weight loss. When I am more mindful of my eating habits, I tend to regulate my emotions better and reduce stress levels. This, in turn, helps me make healthier food choices and control my portions. By focusing on the present moment and being aware of my hunger cues, I can prevent overeating and mindless snacking.
Incorporating mindfulness into my eating routine has also improved my relationship with food and my body. I no longer view certain foods as "good" or "bad," and instead, I savor each bite and appreciate the nourishment it provides. This shift in mindset has led to a more sustainable approach to weight loss, as I am more likely to stick to a balanced and nutritious diet.
The Influence of Self-esteem and Body Image on Diet Success
I firmly believe that self-esteem and body image play a significant role in the success of a weight loss diet. When individuals have high self-esteem and a positive body image, they are more likely to stick to their diet plan and make healthier choices. On the contrary, those with low self-esteem may struggle with motivation and may give in to unhealthy eating habits more easily. Improving self-esteem and body image through positive affirmations, self-care practices, and seeking support from loved ones can boost long-term diet success. It is crucial to address these psychological factors alongside dietary changes for sustainable weight loss.
The Power of Positive Thinking in Achieving Weight Loss Goals
I believe that adopting a positive mindset is crucial when it comes to achieving weight loss goals.
Positive thinking can help me stay motivated and focused on my journey to a healthier lifestyle.
Reminding myself of my progress and celebrating small victories can reinforce positive thinking.
Visualizing my end goal and believing in my ability to reach it can significantly impact my weight loss success.
Surrounding myself with supportive and encouraging people can also contribute to maintaining a positive outlook throughout my weight loss journey.
Addressing Emotional Eating and Stress-induced Food Cravings
I need to recognize triggers that lead to emotional eating and stress-induced food cravings. These triggers can include emotions like sadness, loneliness, or anxiety. By identifying these triggers, I can develop healthier coping mechanisms to deal with emotions instead of turning to food. Engaging in stress-reducing activities such as meditation, exercise, or deep breathing can be helpful in managing stress levels and reducing the urge to overeat. It's essential to build a support system to discuss emotions and stressors, preventing them from manifesting in unhealthy eating habits.
Coping Strategies for Dealing with Emotional Challenges During Weight Loss Journey
I have compiled some coping strategies that have helped me navigate emotional challenges during my weight loss journey:
Seek Support: Surround yourself with a supportive network of friends, family, or a therapist to lean on when times get tough.
Practice Self-Care: Take time for yourself by engaging in activities that bring you joy and relaxation, such as meditation, reading, or taking a bath.
Set Realistic Goals: Break down your weight loss goals into smaller, achievable targets to prevent feeling overwhelmed.
Mindful Eating: Practice being present while eating to better recognize hunger and fullness cues, helping you avoid emotional eating triggers.
Celebrate Non-Scale Victories: Recognize and celebrate accomplishments beyond just the number on the scale, such as increased energy levels or improved mood.
Remember, it's essential to prioritize your emotional well-being alongside your physical health throughout your weight loss journey.
Seeking Professional Help: The Importance of Mental Health Support in Weight Management
I believe that seeking professional help is crucial when it comes to weight management and achieving long-term success. Here are some reasons why mental health support plays a significant role in this process:
Personalized Guidance: Working with a mental health professional can provide personalized guidance tailored to your individual needs and challenges.
Behavioral Changes: Addressing underlying psychological issues can help in making sustainable behavioral changes that support weight loss efforts.
Emotional Support: Dealing with weight-related issues can be emotionally challenging, and having a professional to talk to can provide much-needed emotional support.
Identifying Triggers: Mental health professionals can assist in identifying emotional triggers that may lead to overeating or unhealthy food choices.
Incorporating mental health support into your weight management journey can make a significant difference in your overall success.
Incorporating Mind-Body Practices for Holistic Wellness and Successful Weight Loss
I believe that integrating mind-body practices into your weight loss journey can lead to holistic wellness and improved success. Here are some effective strategies to consider:
Mindful Eating: Paying attention to hunger cues and savoring each bite can help prevent overeating and promote healthier food choices.
Yoga and Meditation: These practices can reduce stress levels, improve self-awareness, and enhance mindfulness, leading to better decision-making around food.
Breathing Exercises: Deep breathing can calm the mind, reduce stress, and improve focus, which can support adherence to a weight loss plan.
Positive Affirmations: Using affirmations can boost self-esteem and motivation, helping you stay committed to your weight loss goals.
By incorporating these mind-body practices, you can foster a healthy mindset and overall well-being while achieving successful weight loss.

Hi Mr-ENTJ, sorry for the long ask. This may seem like a very small issue, but I'm an INFP and I work in the service industry. My main problem is the entitlement in my workplace. I'm working for a corporate organization and, as corporate is, it's full of entitled, rich assholes to the people "below" them. There are policies in place to ensure efficiency and independence so that my clients don't do everything through me, but with my clients expecting anything and everything, I feel like it's my job to enforce the policies and educate them to become independent of having me do everything for them.
I've brought these problems to my supervisor and manager before, informing them that these policies are not respected, the inefficiencies in what the process should be, what clients are doing instead of going back to their actual resources, and suggestions/feedback/constructive criticisms to improve all of these things. My supervisor and manager are both ISFJs and they have worked in this department for over a decade, enough to say "it is what it is; this is what it means to be in service." My coworkers are not nearly as motivated to enforce the policies either because they see no change throughout all the years they've been here, or they don't care for this job enough.
I know that my job is service-oriented and there's something called going above and beyond, but I feel like there is nothing wrong with me educating my clients and i don't want to change what I feel is correct. I feel like another INFP on the team and I are the only ones who feels this passionately about these problems and want to improve it, but this burden is so tiresome and my team thinks it's annoying for me to police everything. I know that this job is no longer for me, and I'm working on finding something else, but until then, what else can I do?
I'm probably just looking for some validation and feedback on what I can do better, but am I wrong? Do I just need to let this go and let things be as they are? Am I just not doing enough? Am I not enforcing this properly?
You can have my validation that you're not wrong, you're probably right, but that still doesn't fix any of the problems you've outlined. Culture change comes in one of two ways if leadership isn't open to change:
The 'judger way' (xxFJ + xxTJ): Become a leader yourself and cascade the change downward -> This requires an immense amount of time to stick around and climb the promotional ladder
The 'perceiver way' (xxFP + xxTP): Get enough influential people to agree with you and override leadership -> This requires an immense amount of effort and may get you fired
Both options require power. Without power, you're stuck at the mercy of other people's decisions inside and outside of work.
This conflict is also a key reason why many INFPs are miserable in corporate environments because they need to adhere to systems and processes other people in power make. Without any motivation to climb the ladder, become a person of power, and change the systems/processes themselves-- INFPs get stuck as passengers in a car that someone else is driving. This is why you see a lot of INFPs opt for freelancing careers, academia, or completely opt out of work (stay-at-home parents) to maximize freedom.
Moving forward, you're correct to find a company that's a better culture fit. Until then, I wouldn't waste another single brain cell stressing about things and people that refuse to change. Save your time, energy, and emotions for the next role so you can hit the ground running.

How to Lose Weight Safely and Effectively
Losing weight is a common goal for many people, but it can also be a challenging one. There are many factors that affect weight loss, such as diet, exercise, genetics, health conditions, and lifestyle habits. However, there are some general principles that can help anyone achieve a healthy and sustainable weight loss. In this article, we will discuss 10 tips for successful weight loss, based on scientific evidence and expert advice.
10 Tips for Successful Weight Loss
Eat varied, colorful, nutritionally dense foods. A balanced and nutritious diet is the foundation of health and weight control. Aim to include a variety of foods from different food groups at each meal, such as fruits, vegetables, whole grains, lean protein, healthy fats, and dairy products. These foods provide essential vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, and fiber that can help you feel full and satisfied. Avoid foods that are high in calories, fat, sugar, and salt, such as processed foods, baked goods, fast food, and sugary drinks. These foods can contribute to weight gain and increase the risk of chronic diseases.
Keep a food and weight diary. Self-monitoring is a key factor in losing weight and keeping it off. By recording everything you eat and drink, as well as your weight and physical activity, you can track your progress and identify areas for improvement. You can use a paper diary, a mobile app, or a dedicated website to log your food intake and calories. You can also weigh yourself regularly and measure your body mass index (BMI) to monitor your weight status.
Engage in regular physical activity and exercise. Physical activity and exercise can help you burn calories, build muscle, improve your metabolism, and enhance your mood. The general recommendation is to get at least 150 minutes of moderate-intensity aerobic activity or 75 minutes of vigorous-intensity aerobic activity per week, as well as strength training exercises at least twice a week. You can also incorporate more movement into your daily routine by taking the stairs, walking or biking to work or school, or doing household chores.
Find your inner motivation. Losing weight requires commitment and perseverance. You need to have a clear and compelling reason to change your eating and activity habits for the long term. It could be to improve your health, appearance, confidence, or performance. Whatever your motivation is, make sure it is personal and meaningful to you. You can also remind yourself of your goals and achievements by writing them down or posting them somewhere visible.
Get support from others. Having a strong support network can make a big difference in your weight loss journey. Seek out people who will encourage you in positive ways, without judging or criticizing you. They could be your family members, friends, co-workers, or online communities. You can also join a weight loss program or group that offers guidance, accountability, and social support.
Set realistic goals. Setting realistic and specific goals can help you stay focused and motivated throughout your weight loss process. Your goals should be SMART: Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, and Time-bound. For example, instead of saying “I want to lose weight”, you could say “I want to lose 10 pounds in 3 months by eating 500 fewer calories per day and exercising for 30 minutes 5 times per week”. You can also break down your goals into smaller and more manageable steps that you can track and celebrate along the way.
Conclusion
Losing weight is not easy, but it is possible with the right strategies and mindset. By following these 10 tips for successful weight loss, you can improve your health, appearance, and well-being in a safe and effective way. Remember that weight loss is a journey, not a destination. Be patient with yourself and enjoy the process!

Do you know what are tips for weight loss?
Tumblr media
Weight loss can be a challenging journey, but with the right approach, it’s achievable. Here are some tips to help you on your weight loss journey:
Set Realistic Goals: Set achievable and realistic goals for yourself. Aim for gradual, sustainable weight loss rather than rapid, drastic changes.
Balanced Diet: Focus on eating a balanced diet that includes plenty of fruits, vegetables, lean proteins, and whole grains. Limit processed foods, sugary snacks, and high-calorie beverages.
Control Portions: Pay attention to portion sizes. Use smaller plates and avoid eating directly from containers to help control portions.
Stay Hydrated: Drink plenty of water throughout the day. Sometimes thirst can be mistaken for hunger, leading to unnecessary snacking.
Regular Exercise: Incorporate regular physical activity into your routine. Aim for at least 150 minutes of moderate-intensity aerobic exercise or 75 minutes of vigorous-intensity exercise per week, along with strength training exercises at least two days a week.
Find an Activity You Enjoy: Choose activities that you enjoy, whether it’s walking, swimming, cycling, or dancing. This will make it easier to stick with your exercise routine.
Be Mindful of Snacking: Pay attention to mindless eating and emotional eating. Keep healthy snacks on hand, such as nuts, fruits, or yogurt, and avoid keeping unhealthy snacks within easy reach.
Monitor Your Progress: Keep track of your food intake, exercise routine, and progress toward your goals. This can help you stay accountable and make adjustments as needed.
Get Adequate Sleep: Aim for 7–9 hours of quality sleep each night. Poor sleep can disrupt hunger hormones and lead to overeating.
Manage Stress: Find healthy ways to cope with stress, such as practicing relaxation techniques, exercising, or spending time with loved ones. Stress eating can sabotage weight loss efforts.
Seek Support: Surround yourself with supportive friends and family members who can encourage and motivate you on your weight loss journey. Consider joining a support group or working with a healthcare professional or registered dietitian for additional guidance and accountability.
Limit Added Sugars and Refined Carbohydrates: Cut back on foods and beverages high in added sugars, such as soda, candy, and baked goods. Also, reduce your intake of refined carbohydrates like white bread, pasta, and rice, which can spike blood sugar levels and lead to cravings.
Eat Mindfully: Practice mindful eating by paying attention to your body’s hunger and fullness cues. Slow down while eating, savor each bite, and avoid distractions like watching TV or using electronic devices.
Plan and Prepare Meals: Plan your meals ahead of time and prepare healthy snacks and ingredients in advance. This can help you make healthier choices and avoid impulsive, unhealthy options.
Incorporate More Fiber: Include plenty of high-fiber foods in your diet, such as fruits, vegetables, legumes, and whole grains. Fiber helps you feel full and satisfied, which can prevent overeating.
Stay Consistent: Stick to your weight loss plan consistently, even on weekends and holidays. Consistency is key to long-term success.
Be Flexible: While it’s essential to have a plan, it’s also important to be flexible and adaptable. If you have a setback or indulge in a high-calorie meal, don’t dwell on it. Instead, refocus on your goals and get back on track.
Celebrate Non-Scale Victories: Don’t solely rely on the scale to measure your progress. Celebrate other achievements, such as increased energy levels, improved mood, and clothes fitting better.
Stay Hydrated with Water-Rich Foods: In addition to drinking water, incorporate water-rich foods like cucumbers, watermelon, and celery into your diet. These foods are hydrating and low in calories, helping you feel full without consuming excess calories.
Consider Professional Help if Needed: If you’re struggling to lose weight despite your best efforts, consider seeking guidance from a healthcare professional, such as a registered dietitian or doctor. They can provide personalized recommendations and support tailored to your needs.
By incorporating these tips into your weight loss journey, you can increase your chances of success and achieve your goals in a healthy and sustainable manner.
Remember, weight loss is a gradual process, and it’s essential to be patient and kind to yourself along the way. Focus on making sustainable lifestyle changes rather than quick fixes, and celebrate your progress, no matter how small.
