To answer your question, Alex adopted Logan first. I see George keeping his distance, close but still professional. Alex, as both an eldest sibling and having gone through 2021, is very sympathetic to Logan. He sees the spiraling, he understands being alone as your parents are dealing with their own issues, and he knows what it feels like to be left behind while the friends you joined F1 with go on ahead. When Logan stops answering his texts and James brings up his worries, Alex is at Logan’s door telling him to pack up and come over to his place. George starts off in a “I’m here to help but mainly because Alex wants to do this and I love Alex” and quickly becomes “i am onboard with helping you, here is a list of therapists I have complied, please pick one.”

George is absolutely making PowerPoints. It starts off with “No one on the grid or your team hates you + with proof from the group chat” to “Your lack of self-esteem is alarming and we are all a bit worried” before becoming “Oscar is in love with you + photographic evidence.” George’s love language is PowerPoints. When he was getting Alex that Williams seat, I imagined him cornering people with a laptop in hand and a PowerPoint titled “Alex Albon’s Achievements: Why he is a perfect fit for Williams”. Alex is ordering take out and providing commentary on the slides, and questioning where certain photos came from.

I see Carlando adopting Oscar not in a parental way, but more in a “I have more life experience so let me tell you why ghosting your friend and crush is a bad idea”. They absolutely brainstorm ways to woo Logan but they keep failing because Logan thinks Oscar is doing this to apologize for not talking to him for a month/forgetting his birthday and Oscar is slowly going insane because nothing works and in every interaction Logan looks sadder and sadder. Carlos and Lando are definitely getting worked up because it was never this hard when they got together .

Your idea with the flower language is genius, can I write that in the fic? I am thinking of a scene like

“No, Lando we cannot put yellow roses in the arrangement. They mean decrease of love, that’s an awful flower to include.”

“How about orange lilies? There aren’t exactly a ton of papaya or orange flowers to choose from.”

“No! Orange lilies mean hatred. We should be starting simple like pink roses and baby breaths.”

What are your personal theories/hcs on Shuri's future interactions with the other avengers?

This is a brainracker, especially since the Avengers rooster has been flipped upside down and switched out with new blood. However, I think I can answer for a few.

▪︎ Princess Shuri and Peter Parker (Spider-Man)

I think this, by far, is the easiest answer to give. I think Shuri and Peter would click the fastest and the most seamless. Their character arcs entirely mirror.

Not only do they start out similar (quippy, mentored science geeks with more light-hearted, slow-to-anger personalities), they are taken down a path of loss, grief, vengeance, and near-consuming anger. Both were protagonists to their own "coming of age" movie.

Pair this up with their admirable brilliance and skill in technological design. Spider-Man also shares similarity to Riri Williams, and we saw how Shuri near immediately clicked with her.

They even get along in the comics, with an almost amusing brotherly-sisterly dynamic. Honestly, Shuri just overall gets along with Spider-men.

There is no doubt in my mind that they'll immediately snap together like magnets. A comfortable relationship where they don't need many words, and when they do speak, they instantly understand the other.

▪︎ Princess Shuri and Bucky Barnes (Winter Soldier)

Does Bucky count? If so, I would think their personal interaction would be positive, for the most part. They are already friends and bonded in Wakanda, with her at his side nursing him.

They have an amiable relationship. Yheir end-credit scene indisputably shows that. He was even named, "The White Wolf."

However, I think he will be in the Thunderbolts, a team employed by Valentina Allegra de Fontaine (her favorite colonizer's good for nothing ex-wife), undertaking tasks for the United States Government and CIA.

You know... The same people who sought to destablize Wakanda (Shuri's nation) and take Riri Williams (Shuri's bestie)?

They will very much be on opposite sides. I think Bucky will be immensely torn, maybe Shuri hurt.

▪︎ Princess Shuri and Scott Lang

In the Wakanda Files book, Shuri is quite envious of Lang and Pym's excursions in the Quantum Realm. She states this in her Kimoyo logs.

I feel like she'd definitely pick his brain if given the chance, maybe ask for Hank's digits for discussion. There would be some respect (not only for his groundbreaking advancements, but the way he operates for the love of his family) jealousy, and want for collaboration (something Shuri expresses several times in the files, like with mourning Iron-Man and feeling sad that she cannot do so with him) there.

Shuri also flexes how she, Wakanda, can do things better in both Wakanda Files and virtually all of her appearances. So I can imagine her fixing or improving something of his.

Lang is also kind of goofy, so I'm interested how tha5'll play

▪︎ Princess Shuri and Sam Wilson

Funny enough, the panther siblings don't quite get along with Sam Wilson in the comics. So if they ever take any note from that, they won't be frolicking in a field of flowers hand-in-hand.

While MCU proven time and time again, butting heads on political issues or on the principle of their nationality difference (Shuri is Wakandan, Sam is American. It's been shown that Shuri can have awkwardness or a difference with American characters, from Riri to Ross) seems very much viable. It is foreshadowed that Wakanda will be at war with surface nations, primary ones being France and the United States of America. Sam is now Captain America, that is the mantle he bears.

I don't think it will be too great of a rift, though. I would presume temporary conflict and challenge. He is friends with Bucky, Sam makes an effort for social change (identifying the problems in America himself in Falcon and The Winter Soldier) so I doubt he'd be for the corruption, and they have been on the same side before.

Now I'm not sure if Shuri will become a common, frequent, or permanent member of the Avengers, even if T'Challa was more or less one in the comicbooks (she is not T'Challa and these are not the comics). However, I can expect collaboration. They already collaborated before, and Shuri is the kind of character who can easily be a team player. She enjoys collaboration, is a teacher, leads two programs, and has a slow-to-anger, perceptive personality.

Additionally, she worked with previous Avengers founding members, and Wakanda garnered the development of outreaching to those outside of them who are in misfortune. I would think it'd be optimal and easy for her to work with them, maybe even serve as a temporary member for the time being.

I may add further onto this later (Dr. Strange, She-Hulk, and Shang-Chi). Thanks for the ask!

Hey, thank you so much for the Jordayla missing pieces you post they make so much sense and they are for sure just deleted scenes that AA just didn't have airtime to air.

Here's my actual question I have seen comments suggesting that Jordan is doing and saying the exact same things for Layla that he did for Simone. Now just as a disclaimer I was never a Jimone fan so I've only watched their scenes once when it aired and I could never imagine going back to watch them but I have no recollection of Jordan being Simones bestie and being able to let her in when he is going through a tough time or just in general like he is with Layla. So I just wanted to know do you see similarities? because I'm convinced I do and btw that doesn't mean I don't think Jor loved Simone as best as he could at that time I just think he didn't know the type of love he's experiencing with Lay was possible.

It's no secret I'm also not a jimone fan, so I got you. I'll try to answer this from an objective lens, but I can't guarantee that it won't be Jordayla-skewed.

The most succinct and thematic divide between these two couples is "show vs. tell."

With Jimone, Jordan was telling anyone and everyone he was happy, he was in love, etc. Nothing wrong with that on the surface. But with Jordayla, Jordan just WAS happy. To the point where everyone around him noticed without him saying a thing. And the two closest male figures in his life figured out he was in love and dating Layla because he was so happy.

With Jimone, they were lauded as great communicators. But that just wasn't evident when really hard stuff or even just mid stuff happened. To your earlier ask, Simone's dream was to be the next Serena Williams, and he was like, you play tennis? But how many times had he frequented Layla's studio before they were even together? Not to mention everything that happened with Simone's adoption dilemma. She didn't even want him there when she gave birth. He couldn't reach her at her level and give her what she needed, and she firmly kept him away. But Jordan obliterated Layla's walls. Not an easy feat when she had been steadily building them higher and higher and successfully kept everyone else out. But not him. She let him in.

And then when it came to football, Jordan has always kept Simone at arms' length. Even when they were fully together. Even when Simone tried to bulldoze her way in after his concussions. She gave her best effort, but he wasn't having it. With Layla she just kept pushing until he relented and listened to her. She knew what to say to get through to him and made him really understand she believed in him wholeheartedly.

Simone saw his potential in being great and maturing. But all of that actually happened when Jordan got closer with Layla. Jordan has never felt more understood than he has since falling in love with Layla. He desperately wanted things to work with Simone because they had gone through a lot together and committed to each other in a huge way. But they just couldn't understand each other on a fundamental level.

Jordan and Layla waited so long to tell each other they loved each other. But every single moment prior, their actions showed how much they loved the other.

Actions speak louder than words, after all.

My thoughts exactly! If McLaren <3 keeps it's success and they keep getting podiums I'd say Lando and Oscar will both stay as long as it lasts. Maybe even longer bc we've seen the faith Lando has in his team and as you said he IS kind of connected to it in a similar way Charles is connected to Ferrari. I hope they stay with them for a couple of seasons at least! 🧡✨

Alpine:

Yes I imagine there will be a few more changes coming, not sure if that includes the drivers though. Pierre might leave (or have to leave) sometime in the future but since he's not doing that bad and he has just joined Alpine after all, I guess he'll stay next season. Agree on both your points about Alex and Charles. I just hope they realize sooner rather than later that Williams and Ferrari can't give them the car they need just yet. Gunnar Avery grew up in a small town roughly a million miles away from the big city he dreamed of moving to one day. And honestly I love a good slow burn added in there as well like the deep yearning of it all is just sooo good! Like I’m obsessed! Michael was extremely nervous when he brought y/n to his parents' house. Although he wasn't concerned about his family, William had him gripping the steering wheel until his knuckles turned white.

"Are you okay, mike?" Y/n asked, sitting beside him in the car.

"Ready?" Y/n softly spoke, taking off the seatbelt.

In a panic, Michael must've left the keys at the apartment. He spoke, "Shit.", while fumbling for the keys.

'Let's just use the doorbell, Dad would be pissed off if we bailed,' Michael said, this was certainly not going as smoothly as planned.

Y/N pressed the doorbell nervously, wanting to meet their boyfriend's family.

"Michael, you have keys, yet you let your date use the doorbell to be polite?" Michael's mother was polite enough, but Michael seemed quite embarrassed.

"Mom," he said simply,

Come in, oh y/n. I'm Clara. It's wonderful to meet you." Clara smiled welcomingly. His mother could certainly make someone feel at home.

"You know my name?" Y/n said mildly surprised y/n hadn't even gotten to say an introduction.

"Yes, I know all about you. Anyway, come in before the food gets cold!" Mrs. Afton smiles as she lets the two 18-year-olds into the house.

Having sat at the dinner table with everyone, William finally grumbled as he sat by the table. Y/n had a hunch that it was because Y/n was there that he didn't seem pleased.

Micheal didn't keep it a secret that William honestly thought that Y/N was nothing but a filthy slut with severe mental problems.

"Yes, my name is-" y/n still tried to be polite since he hadn't done anything to seem aggressive.

"I know y/n and I don't care for filth, even your name is filthy." William commented, hypocritical that he called y/n someone with psychological issues when he was clearly experiencing some sort of issue himself.

"Of course, my son would get a filthy partner since he's a useless brat too." William ate the dinner. That was simply being nasty and y/n certainly wouldn't tolerate that behavior.

"You may not have my wealth or know me that well, but I know it's fucking disrespectful to say things like that to guests when you aren't aware of our relationship." y/n was clenching their knuckles to relieve some of the stress because frankly they wanted to smack that miserable old asshole.

""Michael has grown up so much closer to me than he has ever been to you, and so either you sit down and grow up, or we will leave because we don't have time to waste on miserable people like you." y/n glanced in Michael's direction and there was no response, but the message was 'don't worry, I can handle this'.
