'FNB' Premiere Event is Live!

Hi besties! Our 'Friday Night Bites' Premiere after-party event is officially live! You can now make starters at the party on any and all of your characters. Prior to the party, there would have been a red carpet and viewing of the first episode of Season 2 of 'Friday Night Bites'. Some of the main characters from the show are called: "Diego" (played by Frankie Vives), "William" (played by Scottie Takeda) and "Victoria" (played by Sienna Haven). For the episode plot itself, have as much as you like gossiping about it IC! There can be varying reports, opinions and twists - or you can keep it vague. A reminder the IC date is 31/10/24 AKA 'Halloween' (and the demon known as 'William Huntzberger's' birthday). If anyone is looking at picking up a FNB-related character... a *wink wink* is being sent your way! After the event, there'll be a Monthly Round up post and a task relating to our next fun thing (further *wink wink*). You can also keep sending and answering memes in the meme-time too! Any questions, please do let me know and remember... GG is always prowling if you have any gossip.

A Little Extra

If there is one person the world will know about it’s Kela Zwena. Destined for greatness from jump, it was clear to anyone that encountered her that she had IT. She had that factor that had people knowing that she was going to be a star. Growing up in Barbados, Kela lived her life like any other teenager would do until a trip to the US got her spotted and from then on out her life was going a million miles per hour and her fame was shot into stratospheric levels. World tours, business deals, magazine spreads, awards, Superbowls, not even the sky is the limit for her. She’s a powerhouse in ever sense of the word.  When she’s not traveling the globe and singing to adoring fans, Kela resides in the Upper East Side in her own property for security and privacy purposes. She’s not seen out much in the streets but when she is it’s flashing cameras galore. In all honesty, she finds it exhausting to never have a moments peace and while she’s grateful to have the career she does, she sometimes wishes that she could press pause on it for a while. People always want something from her, everything comes with an ulterior motive. She finds it hard to put her trust in people thanks to the status and position she’s in. Lucky for her, that’s where Jamie Park came in. Kela met Jamie after one of her shows and the two hit off a friendship, which was a dream since Kela was such a fan of Jamie and “The Brat Pack”. Whenever Kela is in town, you bet that she’ll be making a point to see Jamie and catch up with the rest of “The Brat Pack”. Despite the fame, Kela is a kind and caring individual who is very aware of how lucky she is to be able to live a life like she does. However don’t take her kindness for weakness, she can be ruthless and downright brutal when she wants to be. Underneath that welcoming exterior is steel and she’s not afraid to cut you with it.

What Does Gossip Girl Have On Them?

Kela was nowhere near nor was she involved with the original take down of Gossip Girl. There’s not much Kela can hide thanks to the press but her brother did a jail stint for armed robbery and she made a deal with the press to keep the story from hitting the news. It was to protect her family, it’s what you do. 

Connections

Jamie Park - Kela and Jamie are dear friends, each coming when the other calls and always having each other's back. There's not a lot Kela would deny Jamie.

Oh em gee! Season 2 Premiere of #FNB is airing 31st October!

That's right Upper East Siders, the date is set. For those of you have been living under a rock, the breakout supernatural soap- 'Friday Night Bites'- is gearing up for season 2. The world has been abuzz ever since the announcement that the famous #BratPack were reuniting as new series regulars! Alongside the incredible talents of Sienna Haven, Scottie Takeda and Frankie Vives, our fave icons are set to shine! It's been decades since we last saw Diana Watts, Johnny Akana, Rebecca Ravenwood and Jamie Park on screen together. We're all totally keeping it together, right? This is going to be epic. After the red carpet and special airing of the season 2 premiere, there will be an after-party! Since it's Halloween, the theme will be... (you guessed it!) costume party. We expect there won't just be vampires and their hunters roaming around. It's a night for some good, old fashioned, frights and we for one cannot wait! Of course... there's already a monster we have to look out for. There's no doubt 'Gossip Girl' will be out in full swing. Still, no reason to stay away from a good time, right? We'll see you there. XOXO

The event has not started yet - there'll be a separate post announcing the start date! However, your characters can now gossip about all the details and, most importantly, what they're going to wear!

Valentina knew they wanted to be a journalist ever since they were a kid. Growing up, they consumed stories, spent hours writing their own and interviewed every single one of their family members. It was their dream and they didn't stop until it became a reality.

Tenacious, bold (reckless) and endlessly argumentative, Valentina does what it takes to get the story. They don't care about ruffling the wrong feathers, they don't care about making enemies. Sometimes, they actually enjoy it.

When it comes to their work, they'll always do the research and give an unbiased analysis of the truth. In their personal life, they think they're always right (they are!). Val never backs down and rarely compromises.

Now a freelancer, Val worked for numerous publications. They've done their fair share of fluff pieces, exposés and real, hard-hitting journalism (in their opinion). Some stories? They're not so proud of but the past is the past.

The truth is important to Valentina. They've always been brutally honest but aren't above lying to uncover the truth. They're loyal to themself, they have their own back and at the end of the day, they don't need anyone else.

Thalia is still in Val's life, and occasionally, they'll even do an article for her. If Val believed in soulmates, Thalia was theirs.

Gabriela Archibald - there's no one who gets in a journalists way more than Gabriela Archibald. They've butted heads more than a few times over stories Gabriela has successfully squashed.

Lili Mahdavi - what better source could there be than the bodyguard to the Upper East Side's brats? Lili is adamant she wants nothing to do with Val but we'll just see!

Well, well Gossipers-- here we are in yet another month. Let's recap, shall we?

September saw the return to college for some of our Upper East Siders, including Tessa Cooper. After her fallout with Rose Haven over lying about only being accepted to colleges outside of NY (thanks to Gossip Girl giving Rose the evidence!), it's probably best she ran.

Recovery was the name of the game as everyone digested Gossip Girl's last blast (some taking longer than others to decode it-- Jake Hunter). When would she strike next? Who would she strike at next? We're all sweating but alas, life must go on!

Returning to the Upper East Side, we saw the fabulous Latife Levent, Lola Mercado and Andie Trang! Then, cameras flashing, Scottie Takeda of 'Friday Night Bites' crash landed. With a new season premiere coming up, we can't wait to see him around more!
