I've seen some people worried about how close the release date for Saw XI is after Saw X but I think they could pull it off, however, I do have ANOTHER issue with it...
what's bugging me is that it's SEPTEMBER 27. yes it's exactly a year after X but that date holds ZERO significance to the franchise yk?? I would completely understand the less-than-a-year wait time if Saw 11 is out on the LITERAL 20TH ANNIVERSARY- I don't know why they don't just do that it's a much more relevant date 😭‼️ like I wouldn't even care if it's pushed back a month it's a MUCH more satisfying date,
when I was first theorising release dates before the announcement I thought they would full circle back to a release every year like the originals, but they'd push it for the anniversary, I wish they did end up doing that because for me it's either put it on the 20th anniversary OR push it back for ALOT longer and take your time into developing a well-thought out film that doesnt feel rushed
I love how Dev Patel’s Character (I’m going to call him Hanuman) was told by his mother that his future can be found in the roots (lines) of his hands.
And how he tried to save his mother from the fire, grabbing with child’s hands, but instead burned his future away.
And how our first real view of them is when he bargains his way into a job that will lead him to the men that took his future away. Scarred, pale, blank and ruined.
Just like the monkey, Hanuman reached out to the burning desired life, and was supposedly stripped of his potential and power as punishment by the powers that be.
But then, with love and care from others battered, he was guided to his heart, and found it still beating and unfettered. A warrior’s heart.
And so drumbeat by drumbeat, he shaped himself, his hands, into a weapon of justice. To save the future. To remain nameless but to return vengeance upon those who would do others harm with no thought.
His hands, created by the past, shaped and balanced the future.
max verstappen is the ultimate lecfosi because he’s willing to both go to war against charles (on track) and go to war for charles (off track) & that’s exactly the duality i like to see
