APRITELLO WEEK 2024 DAY 1

"DORKY PALS FOR LIFE CLUB"

Its mentioned in a novelization, that the turtles first met April on the basketball court on the roof of her building. I imagine they use that selfsame court to get a good vantage point for trying to stargaze, even in the smoggy city. They notice when its an exceptionally clear night, grab the planisphere map, some snacks and her mom's handmade quilt, and try and go spot their favorite constellations.

20 years later, theyre back on the court, laying on her mother's quilt once more, but with upgraded gear. Donatello asks if his long time dorky pal can spot the "Ring" nebula.

"Can't spot it? Well, it's right here in my pocket actually..."
