CUTE??? {Komori fic}

It’s day two of the interhigh national tournament and all four courts are still in the middle of a game. Everything is lively, from the games on the court to the audience on the bleachers. The different cheers are loud and its echoes fill the gymnasium. It's almost distracting enough for Motoya to focus on the game in front of him when the crowd watching from another court is getting all riled up. He sits on the bleachers along with the rest of his team. Kiyoomi sitting right beside him. The game in front of them being Matsukawa Tech vs Inarizaki, barely in the middle of the second set.

Much like last year, the cheering on Inarizaki's side was grand and hostile. Motoya feels bad for everyone serving in Matsukawa, going through the unpleasant feeling of getting boo-ed at. It's already bad enough that they are six points behind Inarizaki but they seem to be catching up when a wall of their blockers scores, blocking a spike from Ojiro Aran no less.

He wanted to watch a little longer. After all, Inarizaki is a team Itachiyama has an eye on for many reasons. Matsukawa Tech also had their best server in the current rotation. As a libero, Motoya needs to understand how they play for him to know how to best receive. But, he'd like to drink something that isn't water before a game, maybe go to the restroom and wash up. It will save him from Kiyoomi's commanding scowl when he asked if he had washed his hands.

Motoya excuses himself. As he stand, Iizuna-san, who is sitting behind him, asks "where are you going?"

"I'm gonna try to find some Potari sweat and go to the restroom."

"Oh, I'll come with you. I actually want to see what they have on the t-shirt stalls."

"I'll come, too." Kiyoomi said, still focused on the game.

"You want to go to the restroom, too?" Motoya said, hinting it to something which Kiyoomi doesn't like by side-eyeing him.

"I want to see Shiatorizawa's match up close," his cousin coldly states.

Motoya scans the occupied courts, the match with Shiratorizawa is way on the other side. If they're quick on their feet, they won't mess much. Not feeling the need to tease his cousin any further, he waits for their captain and his cousin to stand and they all excuse themselves from their team as they walk out of the lined seats. Letting Iizuna-san lead the way. "Let's get going," he said to them.

"Who are Shiratorizawa up against?" Motoya asked, padding the pocket of his sports jacket, checking if he had left some money in them. It had enough money for a drink.

"It's Chikuida," Kiyoomi said, not a hint of enthusiasm for the mentioned team. They're not a powerhouse like Shiratorizawa or Itachiyama, nor are they newcomers to the national tournament.

"They're back this year?" Motoya said, somewhat excited. "Good luck to them I guess." And good luck is all he could wish for them. Much as he likes for the tables to turn to Chikuida's favor and for something fresh and new on the tournament brackets, he doubts they could actually beat Shiratorizawa, especially against Ushijima-san’s spikes. It is an exciting thought if they can. When they walk up to the game in question, it, too, is at its second set, which is already impressive given Shiratorizawa won both sets the day before. "Wow, they're even so far," Iizuna-san pointed to the scoreboard, displaying 10-11. In that moment, Chikuida scored from a spike from their opposite hitter sticking directly on the line, changing the score, 11-11.

They watched without seating on the bleachers and out of the way from where people were walking. The game flows with the two teams basically interchanging points, continuously neck and neck. Then, Chikuida is ahead of Shiratorizawa by four points. Kiyoomi leans a little closer. Motoya notices and he snickers a little. As per-usual, Sakusa Kiyoomi gets agitated at the possibility that another team is inching closer to the level of powerhouse schools.

Iizuna-san waves for Motoya to come with him then turns to Kiyoomi. "Sakusa, I'll go ahead with Komori. Be back in a minute."

Kiyoomi only nods in silence, attention still at the game. Motoya and Iizuna-san leave him in the spacious area among the audience of the Shiratorizawa vs Chikuida match. The two then split up when Iizuna-san headed to the t-shirt stalls to peruse.

The restroom came first before the vending machine, so Motoya goes there to wash his hand – wiping with his own handkerchief, of course – before buying a drink. Lucky for him, one of the machines has Potari sweat and it drops out without much trouble for him. As he walks, he snaps open the white cap of the bottle, deciding whether he should go back to Kiyoomi or look for Iizuna-san.

And then, the crowd suddenly grew densers, players, gymnasium staff, and the media staff merging in the hall. Their long strides became careful short walks not to add more hassle in the crampedness. Motoya does his best to move around everyone that comes in front of him from what he can tell, he’s getting closer to where he last saw Iizuna-san.

He keeps an open eye for the signature bright yellow of Itachiyama’s jersey in the crowd while closing the led of the bottle. Instead, Iizuna’s mint green hair is the first thing he spots. Motoya calls out to his captain as he waves his unoccupied hand though doesn’t seem to hear it. He moves forward through the crowd until he allows a pair of players to pass. Coming from a different direction, someone bumps into Motoya and the person yelps weakly. The collision has him losing grip of the bottle. As the person starts a half scream that's immediately cut when they catch it could hit the ground.

"Ah, sorry!" He quickly apologizes with his hands shyly reaching out to them, worried that he might have bumped into them somewhere inappropriate. The person stops and stands up right meeting his gaze. A player on the girls side of the tournament. She hands the bottle over. Her team uniform is white with dark green sleeves and a green number 11. She looks at him in shock, worry and apologetic, but she squints. Then, it instantly switches to a charming, wide smile that almost had her cheeks hide her eyes.

“OH HEY!” the girl chimes, less of a greeting and more of realization. Voice smooth and silky, mixed with a kind of bubbly friendliness. "You really do have round eyebrows! That's so cute!!"

Confusion came like being thrown a bucket of warm water on his back. His first reaction is to laugh in his befuddlement.

“Eh???” is all Motoyo could muster as he stands still and grip on the bottle getting firmer.

Then, there's giggling from beside the girl, players in the same uniforms as her, trying their best to hide their laughing and wheezing. They seem just as confused as to what just occurred and appear apologetic on her behalf. Their sweet and nice voices adds to Motoya’s embarrassment. Lucky for him, they are having secondhand embarrassment from teammate’s action underneath their laughter.

"That's what you say first?" The girl in number 5 said in disbelief, grinning from ear to ear as she teases her teammate. "Not even a ‘sorry’?" Said the girl with the number 8, who sounded more troubled despite being humored by it as well.

Someone with the jersey labeled number 2 steps forward, confident and concerned. Their vice-captain, he assumes. "I'm really sorry for my teammate here,” she starts, bowing to Motoya. “She doesn't know how to think before she opens her mouth."

He would have said ‘no worries’ or ‘ it's fine.’ But still a bit surprised from what's happening, Motoya’s words practically froze and he could hesitantly bow back while darting from one girl to the next assessing how many saw that. It did not help that they are all very pretty and they don’t seem offended by him.

“I’m sorry,” number 11 said. “Your arm’s not hurt, is it?” She speaks so kindly.

Motoya actually checks for pain. Nothing is really there other than a sting that will leave in a moment or two, so he shakes his head. “It’s alright. no harm done,” he said, trying to match her softness to appear not irritated, waving his arms to her to communicate not to pay no more concern over it.

Chuckling, number 5 says, “you really are something, huh? Calling the nation’s best libero ‘cute’.”

The mention of his appointed title was an arrow of panic in Motoya’s veins. They know him?! He screamed in his thoughts. What else do they know!?

"She's right though, you are pretty cute," bluntly said by number 12, hand on her chin as she eyes Motoya up and done. Her eyes hinting cheeky interest in him and he thinks something popped in his head. Getting called cute by a pretty girl once is flustering, but again by another girl? That's more than he thinks he can take. Motoya could feel two more degrees of heat up his face. What should he say after that?

“Um.. thanks?” Motoya said in appreciation while trying his damndest to not sound squeaky in front of these girls.

Number 11 turns to Motoya again and simply states, “I mean, you do look better in person,” effortlessly doubling down on her comment. They all laugh at her honesty to blatantly compliment him again.

“And taller,” added 5 and some of the girls shook their heads in agreement. Number 2 is the only one who does not join in, placing a hand over her face.

“Um, what's going on here?” Iizuna’s voice invades and takes everyone's attention, and he is with Kiyoomi. The question was more likely pointed to Motoya, but the vice captain of the girl’s team quickly raised her hand and bowed slightly to the two players. “I’m sorry. One of my teammates bumped into your libero and nearly dropped his drink,” she explained.

The other girls follow suit by apologizing to Motoya’s teammates. One by one, they bid the libero farewell. Saying ‘bye’ to Motoya teasingly with a sweet tune as they smile and wave.

“Good luck to you, guys,” formally said the vice-captain. Motoya and Iizuna-san return it.

11 waves to him.“Sorry again, Komori-chan.” Her voice still caught him off guard.

Motoya’s eyes last strays on the girl with number 9, who has been covering her laughter the entire time. She gives him an amused look as she smirks at Motoya then sends him a flirty nod. The gesture makes him want to hide his warm face.

He watches them all leave, almost in a trance. While Iizuna and Kiyoomi are left to ponder what they just walked into.

Suddenly, Motoya sharply turns to the two. Fists clenched and pumped. “GUYS!” He calls them. His cheeks and ears slowly turned to a shade of red. Eyes wide in nervousness, panicked, yet determined. A quivering smile.

“WE- WE’RE GOING TO WIN!!!”

“That is the goal,” Kiyoomi deadpans.

The two may not completely know what had happened but it must have been something enough to practically short-circuit his brain. It finally settles to Motoya that his heart is rushing.

Iizuna nervously laughs, "How about you drink that Potari of yours?"

Motoya does and he accidentally chugs down the entirety of the bottle.

“You good?” Iizuna asks, concern in

Motoya meekly says “yeah” but he doesn't believe him. With the Libero drinking a 500ml bottle, it leads all of them back to the restroom. Kiyoomi washes his hands again for good measure while Motoya does business, then washing his hands and face. Yet he is still flustered.

Returning with their one teammate several shades redder, Iizuna had to explain that It isn’t a fever or anything and his loose understanding of the situation that happened.

After that, Itachiyama won their match that day and the following matches after that up until the finals.

That little interaction Motoya had with the girls was long forgotten by the time they won the inter-high school tournament. To Iizuna, it's probably the strangest prophetic thing he has witnessed. He isn't superstitious, but it sure was funny to think that Motoya basically manifested their wins. Kiyoomi could care less. As for Motoya, little compliments placked in his brain and the memory of the event comes back to him clear as day. If he thinks a little too long about it, he’ll just steam his head up like a kettle.

A/N: I had this on my drafts for so long that but when i found out it was komori's birthday, I had to cram this like it was an academic essey due tomorrow ahahahahahaha

but i think i should apologies cause I dont know how to tag this. its technically a komori centric fic, but could be read as 3rd-pov komori x reader fic (to whichever girl had the most rizz lol) or 3rd-pov komori x oc fic, so i tagged it as both. i hope it doesn't bother anyone its tag that way.

Do you ever solve problems in a story only to realize it wasn't a problem?

So I was going to use the Shinso's Transfer Removes Mineta Trope for ToBraSoDa. I realized that because Shinso and Toga are transfering that would mean I would have to remove another charecter, my first instincts being either Ojiro or Shoji. That would feel bad in the context of the AU because Toga was 100% going to be using both of their quirks a ton during the sports festivel.

But I realized Nedzu would probably keep Shinso out of the Hero Course during his infiltration both to make it so he wouldn't have to fake being a mole and to make it more likely he would be going villian. It didn't solve the issue but it pushed the can down the road till like Kamino Ward.

Until I started typing this and went "huh are mutant quirk kids the only options that aren't intreasting" and looked up class 1A to be reminded of Koda who is honestly more boring then Ojiro and wouldn't matter in this fic solving the issue.

Now I'm teetering between "Shinso stays in Gen Ed" and "Shinso get's into 1A and Koda is mad about it" because villian Koda is something I haven't seen and I think could be neat.

I mean you could always just put Shinso in 1A and not delete anyone because like. That's kinda implied on what they're doing in Canon since he's going to transfer into either 1A or 1B and is spending time vibing with both to see how he works with them (Join Training Arc).

Or just say fuck it and shove him in there like I did with CC where 1A has 22 students.

That said:

While I mostly say Koda is too much of a sweetheart to go villain, I could totally imagine him as like a Poison Ivy type but for animal rights? Fuck Humanity let the beasts take over the earth? (I think you could also spin that as vigilante/antihero but ya know)

Next Gen Heroes (BNHA Next Generation Oneshots!)

26 years in the future, Class 1-A has started own lives as heroes. Bakugou falls in love with a spunky Gen Ed student, and proposes to her. Midoriya and Uraraka get married, as does Kirishima and his nonbinary partner from the Support Class and Todoroki and Yaoyorozu. But nothing is a fairy tale.

Bakugou looses his Kassidy to the biggest Nomu attack in history, Deku too with Uraraka.

Kaminari gets stuck with 2 kids in two different relationships, and loses them both to Shinsou.

Ojiro and Hagakure get divorced after a huge misunderstanding, causing Hagakure to lash out at her sons.

Hawks dies and leaves his daughter alone. Same with Shouto and Momo with their 5 daughters.

But these children won't let them down.

Their legacies live in them.

Is Denki the Bokuto-san of Class A? Methinks so.

As for his very own Akaaaaashiii, i think it is without a doubt Shinso (i feel like after the joint training with class B, the two have built a great friendship. Imagine Denki seeking him out and inviting him for class hang outs. That or Denki hangs out with the Gen Ed students). If its not Shinso, its probably Ojiro-kun!

ohhh, that's a good way to put it!

during bokuto's first appearance in the manga, takeda-sensei remarked that somehow, watching him play fires up/cheers up the opponents too(?) and i think denki also plays a similar part in keeping morale up during a battle :-)

shinsou and akaashi would be such great friends if they ever met TT and yes, i'm living for the kamishin friendship too and i'm really hoping we get to see them interact some more in the future. i wanna see how shinsou warms up to denki eventually once he becomes a part of 1A, i think it'll be very funny and wholesome :*)

ojiro my beloved he is actually so funny and hot <3 and he'd probably the easiest to get along with out of everyone in 1A (for shinsou) because he's so... normal. but of course with denki always playing with his tail, where ojiro goes denki goes too... so shinsou probably has to accept that it's a package deal (☆▽☆)

@musicfeedsmysoul12 and @lurking96 this is both of y’all’s fault with that thread about how too many fics where Izuku jumps, gets a quirk and just make Bakugo regret it without any actual character change. Just: Izuku goes splat, and now Bakugo is an uwu soft boy who’s really sorry but had no character development visible.

Y’all both get some of the blame for this fic outline I created after a bang, chocolate, and on 2 hours of sleep. It’s still a really rough outline and I don’t have time to polish it up into an actual outline, draft, then fic with my summer classes and job right now. Enjoy my stream of thought with no filter

The Ripple

Izuku has a concussion from Bakugo attacking him at school so his eyesight is off. Everything else is the same up to when All Might leaves him on the roof.

The concussion fucked with his vision, balance, and depth perception. So he ended up accidentally stepping off the side of the building. (Hush, I know that there’s a railing. We’re pretending that when All Might jumped away from Izuku on the roof, he accidentally took like half of it with him.)

Crash, boom, blood. Ambulance carted him off to the hospital and that’s the last we see of Izuku for a while.

They don’t know that All Might was the one who got him up to the rooftop because the notebook with the signature was blown off the roof and into the river. By the time that it was found, it was nothing but mush and the writing was illegible, all runny and blurry. They also just assumed that a villain ripped the railing off in a previous battle and the owner hadn’t gotten it fixed yet.

Inko tells Mitsuki that they think it was suicide because he couldn’t have accidentally gotten up on the roof (No evidence of All Might). Katsuki hears that but refuses to tell anyone that he told Izuku to jump off a roof because that could hurt his chances of being a hero.

Entrance Exam

Fast-forward to the entrance exam, everything proceeds as canon except for the bits with Izuku, which never happened.

Uraraka is stuck under the boulder with the zero pointer bearing down on her. Canon shows no evidence of any pro except Present Mic at the site, and he was last seen at the gates so he isn’t close by to Uraraka.

Uraraka couldn’t escape from the boulder in time and the kill switch takes up to 30 seconds to receive and process. So, the robot steps on the boulder and crushes her leg. She’s rushed to Recovery Girl but the damage is so severe that they have to amputate a leg.

As compensation, UA takes care of all the medical bills and offers her a spot in the Hero Course at UA with her entire tuition paid for all 3 years. Uraraka accepts to make it easier financially on her parents, so she shows up to the first day of classes with a prosthetic leg that she painted pink in an effort to make it less sad.

Quirk Assessment

A random extra is put into 1-A, but they and Mineta are promptly expelled. The extra just didn’t try at all, relying upon the idea that the teacher wouldn’t actually expel anyone on the first day. Mineta was just too pervy/not heroic enough so he got the boot.

Aizawa was reminded of the death of Oboro when Uraraka nearly got crushed, so he’s on high alert to expel those that he believes would never be good at heroics/ would just get themselves killed. Extra not trying and Mineta just focusing on being a perv, made him convinced they would get killed so he just expelled them straight away [No readmission for them]

This shocked Momo who thought he was bluffing and made her more cognizant of the fact that not everyone plays by the same rules as her.

Battle Trial

Battle trials happen. Momo and Uraraka are paired up together and fight twice in the trials. They won both times because Uraraka floated the bomb and Momo in the fight against Todoroki so that it was impossible for Todoroki to capture them. They win against Iida and Bakugo because Uraraka takes advantage of Iida’s unwillingness to hurt someone he views as disabled/helpless and knocks him out with a bat from Momo, then touches the bomb, Momo just created water and soaked Bakugo so he couldn’t use his Quirk and then ran from him.

All other trials proceeded as in canon.

USJ

Since Tsuyu is the only one in the Water Zone [Midoriya not in the story and Mineta expelled], she just went straight for the shore and got back to the entry area via the river. She witnesses the entire beatdown of Aizawa and his fighting, so she’s very traumatized. But because she’s amphibious and is completely underwater [In my hcs, she can breathe underwater as long as water can access most of her skin. So her suit is very permeable and water can get through it], Shigaraki never sees her and so he doesn’t try to kill her.

Rest of the USJ goes as canon dictates including Aizawa getting his head smashed by the Nomu

Sports Festival

Because 1-A has 2 less students, only the first 40 to get to the finish line can pass on. Todoroki ended up getting first place by icing over Bakugo’s legs at the tunnel entrance. Everyone else that originally passed in canon, also passed.

All the teams are the same, except for Uraraka’s team which doesn’t have Midoriya, and Shoji’s who doesn’t have Mineta.

Bakugo is going after Todoroki instead of Uraraka’s team because he’s focused on snagging the winning headband.

Uraraka uses her Quirk on her team and they just hang out in the sky for awhile, since after the boulder, she practiced to be able to lift more weight so that never happens again.

Shoji’s team is the same as canon, especially because Mineta never actually did anything important to the team.

Todoroki never uses his fire because he used his ice to create a dome that kept everyone else away from his team. Bakugo runs around stealing other headbands since he can’t get to Todoroki.

At the end of the round, Todoroki is in first, Bakugo is second, Uraraka is third and Shinso is fourth.

Ojiro and Shoda both drop out citing the fact that they couldn’t remember the event as the reason. Shiozaki Ibara and Tetsutetsu Tetsutetsu replace them

Shinso gets a free pass onto the next round because he is a gen ed student so they wanted to allow him the best chance possible and it’s better for the optics of UA for watchers to see a hero student beating up another hero student instead of a gen ed kid.

Kaminari v. Shiozaki -Kaminari won by sending electricity through her hair and knocking her out because Aizawa forced him to start thinking outside of the box after he nearly died during the USJ [shiozaki has to have nerves to control her vines and nerves have electricity traveling through them. So they’re a conductor and Kaminari can send his electricity down them]

Iida v. Hatsume -He doesn’t accept her gadgets and just pushes her out of bounds. After the Uraraka debacle in his battle trial, he realizes that he can’t just go off his perceptions and has to be wary of them.

Ashido v. Aoyama - Ashido won

Tokoyami v. Yaoyorozu - Yaoyorozu won by creating an explosion of light and blinding them, then pushing them out of the ring. Uraraka taught her to take advantage of what she can do and Aizawa forced her to realize that others don’t have the same rules.

Tetsutetsu v. Kirishima - Kirishima won by charging Tetsutetsu and knocking him out of the ring. Again Aizawa forced him to not just behave as a shield because of the USJ

Uraraka v. Bakugo -Uraraka won by taking off her prosthetic, leaving it as a decoy and floating herself so that he couldn’t hear her coming, and the dust from his explosions had blinded him. She tackled him from above and hurled him out of bounds. He got a concussion and Recovery Girl forced him to stay in the infirmary.

Todoroki v. Shinso -Shinso won by coming after Todoroki’s weak spot and making him talk

Iida v. Kaminari -Kaminari won by shocking Iida’s engines when he tried to grab him. Made him collapse, and then just dragged him out of bounds.

Tokoyami v. Ashido- Tokoyami won by Dark Shadow kicking her out of bounds

Uraraka v. Kirishima -Uraraka won by preying on Kirishima’s desire for manliness and to not hurt a girl. Got close enough to float him and then just push him out of bounds. Aizawa has plans to lecture Kirishima about when to be manly and when to not be.

Shinso v. Kaminari -Shinso won. He could tell that Kaminari was a memelord, so he just took advantage of that and said a meme that Kaminari couldn’t resist completing. [Don’t know what yet, I’ll figure it out later]

Tokoyami v. Uraraka -Tokoyami won. Uraraka lost because she couldn’t use her Quirk on Dark Shadow and Dark Shadow was the one to attack her. [See doc of quirk analysis for more in depth in case we forget]

Shinso v. Tokoyami -Shinso won by mirroring Tokoyami’s speech patterns which knocked him off guard and got him caught into Shinso’s Quirk.

Shinso got first place, Tokoyami got second, Uraraka and Kaminari shared third place.

Internships

Shinso gets an internship with Aizawa to assess whether or not he’s fit for heroics. Aizawa also prescreens all of his students' internships to make sure that it’s a good fit for them. [He’s a lot more protective of where they because he wants them to be actually learning useful heroics not shit like how to clean and pose for a camera.]

Mirko offers an internship to Uraraka because she wanted to teach a fighting girl that was perceived as helpless by society. [Society views disabled as helpless, a girl is also viewed as helpless, both is bad combination. Mirko wants to prove anyone can be badass with the right training]

Yaoyorozu gets put with Fatgum because Aizawa sees that she’s struggling with the fat part of her Quirk and knows that if she went with Uwabami, she’d develop more insecurities. [Uwabami is a TV actress/model. She’ll pass on weight/beauty related insecurities because that’s what a lot of actresses have and she seems focused more on a fanbase]

Kirishima goes with Rock Lock to be faced with the blunt truth that ideals are nice, but you can’t have them rule your life as a hero. [Canonly, he’s very blunt and pragmatic, so he’d believe that trying to be manly is fine, but there is a time and place for it.]

Everyone else goes with their canon internships.

The Nomus attack Hosu. Because Gran Torino isn’t there, the Nomus are more dangerous and more civilians die. All the heroes are focused exclusively on managing the Nomus and the interns kinda fall to the wayside since they can’t do anything.

Iida slips away and Manual is too busy putting out fires to notice.

Iida runs off and finds Stain. Battle commences and Iida loses.

Stain calls him and Native fake heroes. Native gets a sliced throat. Stain is a little more lenient with Iida because he is a kid. He goes through the fabric pants and slices the femoral artery to the bone. [Femoral artery cuts can lead to death within minutes especially with Iida running on adrenaline which kicks up the blood pressure and rate of bleeding.]

Endeavour comes through with Shoto burning all the nomus and destroying them. Finally the city is quiet and the search for the dead begins.

Every hero in Hosu grid searched the entire city to retrieve the dead and bring them to the morgue for claiming.

Manual was the one to find his dead intern and Native. He had to call UA and tell them that he got a student killed while under his supervision. He gets blacklisted by UA and Aizawa puts out a warning on the Underground network that if others are under his care, that he might lose track of them.

Once everyone returned from their internships, they left red spider lilies on his desk as a way to guide him to the afterlife.

Training Camp

The villains still want Bakugo because they saw his aggression, violence, and determination to be the best during the sports festival and the internships. So they think he’d be an easy switch to flip.

This time, Aizawa doesn’t dump them out in the middle of the forest because he’s focusing on forcing his students to interact and bond with each other instead of doing their own thing. So they all stay on the bus and Aizawa makes them talk about something semi-important with a seat partner for 10 minutes before switching so that everyone talks to more than just their friend groups.

When they arrive, Kota is his bratty self and Aizawa shuts that down fast. He tells him that he has two options, one: stay with his aunts and uncle or two: stay with Aizawa. Aizawa can’t have an itty-bitty child running around loose in the forest when 17 hormonal teenagers are letting off their Quirks which are dangerous. [it was an awful idea in canon to let Kota hide in his treehouse. Imagine if one of the kids near the mountain lost control of their quirk.] Kota chooses to stay with his aunts and uncle at all times because Aizawa is scary.

Once the training starts, he pairs everyone up with different partners to force their Quirks to improve.

Ashido-Kirishima to strengthen her acid and his hardening by hurling acid at him

Tokoyami-Kaminari-Aoyama to force Aoyama to maintain his laser beam for longer, Tokoyami to force him to strengthen Dark Shadow against light, Kaminari to power multiple light sources without burning them out and not going into whee mode so he can avoid the laser beam and Dark Shadow

Ojiro-Koda to force Koda to vary the animals that he calls and Ojiro to give him experience with fending off multiple opponents of varying sizes and skill levels without seriously injuring them.

Todoroki-Bakugo-Tsuyu to force Todoroki to be able to control both sides of his quirks and switch them easily, Tsuyu to force her to get accustomed to varying temperatures and making sure they don’t knock her out, Bakugo to force him to sweat more in both cold and hot temperatures so that he’s more versatile.

Jiro-Shoji-Hagakure to force Hagakure to improve her stealth and fighting, Jiro to make her be able to detect people sneaking up on her, and Shoji to improve his locating skills and stealth. [Shoji is a big boy and needs to work on stealth]

Sero-Sato to help Sero with his dodging and speed, and Sato to help him retain more of his planning and forethought while his Quirk is activated

Uraraka-Yaoyorozu to make Uraraka work on her sickness and weight limits and Yaoyorozu to adapt to planning on the fly and create items quickly.

Aizawa forces them to break away from their training partners when it’s time to make dinner and everyone is required to help in some way during the meal. The help can be gathering the ingredients, preparing them, doing the actual cooking, plating, setting the table, cleaning up after, anything as long as they contributed.

Repeat until the trial of courage.

Vlad wants to do the trial and Aizawa refuses to do it. Aizawa is actively trying to squash out the competitiveness of his students in order to make them work together and ask for help so that they’ll survive longer in the hero society. Uraraka lost a leg because people wouldn’t cooperate to help her in the entrance exam and Iida died because he was too focused on himself and didn’t ask for help. The trial would just reignite the competitiveness and ruin his progress.

1-B does the trial on their own while 1-A is given a maze they have to navigate.

The maze is created by Pixie Bob and is huge. It’s large enough that the students on the ground can’t peek over the walls to see the path. There are two students on the ground, the leader and the guide. The leader can see the walls and the turns but has earplugs in so they can’t hear the guide if the guide tries to talk. The guide can hear the directions from the person who sees the entire maze but is blindfolded and has to guide through tapping the shoulders of the leader. The person outside and looking down has to direct their team through the maze quickly without crashing into other teams. The leader can’t just guess a direction because Pixiebob will shift the maze if they try to do that so they can’t backtrack. It’s in teams of three so Aizawa is directing the last team. [Kinda inspired by survivor but with my own twist]

All of them rotate through each position with different teams each go round to impress on them the importance of all the roles.

In the last round, Bakugo was the person issuing instructions, cursing and screaming through the mic the entire time.

That’s when the villains attacked. But there were a few changes in the lineup.

Toga wasn’t there because the police picked her up and Inko got her case taken on to get her on parole and took her into her home when she saw her at the station while continuing with the criminal charges levied against the owner of the building that Izuku had fallen off of. The appearance of a girl bullied and ostracized for her Quirk, who was going down the path of no return, Inko saw Izuku in her. As such, she wanted to care for her and show her that villainy wasn’t the answer and that there are people who cared for her in spite of her blood Quirk. [Toga is stuck with Inko at this point in time and has a tracking anklet to make sure that she’s behaving. Rehab is going really well with the unconditional care that Inko is providing.]

Dabi got an infection and landed in the hospital ER as an unknown patient and wound up in a coma while his body was busy trying to fight the infection of his staples. [The man’s a walking open wound. You can sneeze in his general vicinity and have a high chance of taking him down in a couple weeks. Haven’t decided if I want to wake him up or not. Depends on my feelings]

Mustard joined the attack via Toga due to them being closer in age and talking. No Toga, no Mustard. [He’s sulking in detention right now.]

So the only ones left are Mr. Compress, Magne, Spinner, Muscular, Moonfish, Twice and the Nomu. Much smaller and no long-range attacks.

Their mission is to get in, extract Bakugo and get out with minimal damage. That’s what happened.

Muscular, Moonfish, and the Nomu all rampage on the opposite side of the mountain to draw attention to them. Magne and Spinner break up the 1-A class and drive them apart. Twice and Mr. Compress work together to snatch up Bakugo in a marble and then they all book it. Muscular and Moonfish are both left behind to keep the heroes distracted long enough for them to get back to Kurogiri and through the portal. Nomu ended up buried in a mountain via a very anger Tiger at the disruption of his naps. The students all worked together to try and bring down the villain to retrieve their classmate, but when that failed, Yaoyorozu managed to attach a tracker to the villains top hat.

Injuries were minimal and the three heavy hitting villains were arrested and locked up. The only casualty was Bakugo being kidnapped.

Repeat until All Might shows up

Then AfO activates goop Quirk [really need a better name for that. better than vomit transport quirk at least. That was my first thought], drags the league and Bakugo to him. Bakugo is held by him, hand on his temple ready to crush him.

Rest of Heroes all show up on the battlefield but aren’t moving so that Bakugo doesn’t get hurt. Essentially a stand off.

You know, you can tell whether or not someone has the potential for villainy by their greatest regret -AfO

AfO has a quirk that allows the user to see someone’s greatest regret, with more details the longer that the quirk is activated. He also has a quirk that allows him to project whatever he’s thinking about in a video format for everyone to see. [the man is old. he probably had a habit of taking whatever quirk he wanted when he was younger before all might turned him into a very ugly potato/alternate darth vader]

Quirks activate and it’s the scene of Bakugo telling Izuku to get jump off a building spliced with the news from Inko that Izuku was suspected of jumping off a building

Interesting. Why is that your greatest regret?-AfO

Quirk gives him more details.

Bakugo only regrets saying that because if it ever became public, he'd never reach the spot of number one hero which is his only goal in life.

Guess you are nothing but a villain after all. Too obsessed with yourself to see the damage you caused.-Afo

Afo shoved the boy away from him and forcibly activated Kurogiri’s Quirk to allow the league to escape.

Every hero on site is frozen in shock at the reveal of what a hero student of UA, the most prestigious hero school that graduated most of the top heroes in Japan, actually believed.

At that point, AfO flips All Might the finger and just goes through the portal because the news would shake society’s faith in UA which is really good. He can kill All Might later. [or just wait for any infection to take the man out. He lost his stomach so he probably lost his spleen too which is kinda important for the immune system.]

Fallout

Bakugo is booted to gen ed because Aizawa refused to teach someone that was just going to end up hurting someone later in life. Because Aizawa is an Underground Hero who specializes in information and predication, schools tend to believe in what he says about the potential/future of heroes in training especially when he has evidence to back up his beliefs. So no other school will take him on as a hero student.

Bakugo is essentially blacklisted from heroics because everyone wants to believe that a hero is good and just. And when the illusion is broken before it has a chance to solidify, they have no chance of becoming a hero.

Aizawa goes and apologizes in person to Inko. Because even though he had no way of knowing, he feels like he should have recognized the abusive tendencies and/or egocentrism of Bakugo earlier. So, allowing it to continue was a slap in the face to his victims.

Inko accepts his apology because she didn’t know about it either so how could she blame him when she was closer and still missed all the signs. She offers to let Aizawa visit Izuku because Eraserhead was one of his favorite heroes because of how much skill he had. But because Eraserhead was underground, he didn’t have any merch or enough information to write about him.

1. Izuku is in a coma, all healed up, just hasn’t woken up. When they came, Izuku had just woken up a half hour ago so the doctors were busy checking all his vitals, memory, joints, etc. Inko cries, Aizawa stands away because he’s allergic to emotions, and Izuku is just silently fanboying because he sees one of his favorite heroes.

2.Izuku is in a coma and doesn’t wake up. Inko introduces Aizawa to him and tells Aizawa about his dreams and his story. Aizawa makes sure that at least once a week, he comes and visits to talk to him. He also brings other heroes to introduce to Midoriya to make sure that others know about him.

3.Aizawa and Inko go to a graveyard and the name Midoriya Izuku is carved into a family grave marker with flowers and an All Might figure in front of it. Inko tells Aizawa that Izuku died from falling from the building. They thought he jumped randomly, but with the new info, Inko is thinking that Bakugo might’ve pushed him verbally over the edge. Aizawa promises to investigate more.

I found your transmigrator au via pocketramblr, and now I can't stop thinking about it, especially about the 'original' story, sans Izuku. I suppose Tsuyu and Mineta would have died at the USJ, then maybe one or two at the training camp? Who would have been the main character? Who would have received OfA? Just a very good idea. Thank you for sharing.

Heyy, welcome to my AU hell! I thought about this on the bus home so you get a whopper of an answer.

Ok so, the original story, the USJ is basically the turning point. Like, we get a little cutaway (maybe 5 pages?) of each of the character's in their own zones - Mineta and Tsuyu's cuts right before they try and jump for it. One by one, over the course of the final large fight in the centre of the USJ we see the students gather. The fight ends, there is a sense of relief - and then someone turns to look out into the lake and screams. The next page turn is a double spread of the two bodies in the water, swirls of blood twisting around them, their limbs mangled. Thats when Plus Ultra takes its turn from classic shonen manga to dark, nearly horror. From there:

Iida is killed by Stain

All Might doesn't visit I-Island and neither did any 1-A students, so Melissa and David Shield die, along with various other guests.

Momo, Tokoyami and Shouji die during the camp, Bakugo and Todoroki are captured.

Kamino Ward happens - Kirishima, who found the location and went to the area to try and help, is badly injured enough that he's unable to remain in the hero course, but following All Might's death, they are too desperate for trained heroes to let him leave, so he's moved to an altered schedule.

Skilled support and gen-ed students are strong-armed into the hero course (by the HSC) to fill its ranks nationwide - here this means Hatsumei and Shinsou join 1A.

The 8 Precepts raid happens, even more chaotic than canon as they've grown bolder with the public's newfound fear - Ojiro, Hagakure and Mirio die. Night Eye survives.

The league attacks UA with a freshly healed AfO (Eri, are part of the 8 Precepts bargain with the league) - Aoyama and Sero die, the rest of 1A flee.

By the very final chapter, the only original 1A members remaining are Uraraka, Bakugo, Jirou, Mina, Kaminari, Kirishima, Koda and Todoroki - along with Aizawa who is just trying to keep the last of his kids alive.

Bakugo was the primary protagonist and it was mostly told from his POV, but it focused on 1A as a whole. It was a running fandom joke that if someone got too many chapters about them in a row they were probably gonna die.

All Might was the secondary protag! We got POV chapters from him pretty often - maybe an 8th of the story was from his POV, and he died at the end of Act 2, but he was always frustratingly vague. It was an open secret that he was looking for a personal student, and his internal narration kept making reference to a legacy, but it was never revealed what it actually was before he died.

All Might never passes on One for All. It's one of Bakugo's driving frustrations in the manga - before everything goes to shit that is - he's top of their year, stronger than most second years, has near-perfect grades, but All Might never even considers him for that secret thing everyone knows about.

Bakugou headcanon #5

The day Aizawa feared finally arrived.

It was time for The Talk.

Usually, the sex ed class would be for the second years, but as he discovered, his kids' knowledge about sex was lacking. It went from "good grasp" to "know jack shit" passing by "basic knowledge". Hence why The Talk was being move forward.

Suprisingly, the most knowledgeable was Katsuki. His parents sat him down when he was 10 and gave him a thorough explanation, especially regarding his quirk. There was a ten-steps program to follow if he ever wanted to be intimate with someone. As it turned out, Katsuki came out as ace when he was sixteen, so the knowledge was useless to him.

Aizawa, who had given more Talks in his academic career than Moidoriya has ever broken bones, saw this as his perfect escape route. He put Katsuki in charge of the lesson during one of Midnight's classes so she was there if something went wrong, while he took a well deserved nap in the teachers' lounge.

Alas, he had forgotten one thing : Katuski was a little shit. Worse, he was a resentful little shit.

So obviously, he brought his A game. He even enlisted Camie's and Mei's help.

The day came.

It was pandemonium.

For two hours, Katsuki soldiered on. He went in details about the genitals, using some mechanic genitals made by Mei, showing how the penis would expend during arousal. During all this, Midnight stood, agape and flustered, not even trying to interrupt. Midoriya's blood constantly rushing to his cheeks actually made him faint. Uraraka floated to the ceiling from start to end, althought she also made her stuff float and took some notes. A very flustered Yaomomo also took some, especially during the wlw part. Jirou hide underneath her desk, even though Katsuki could se her jacks poking from underneath it, clealy listening. Kaminari had short-circuited during the live kamasutra, staring dumbly at Katsuki. Asui seemed fine with everything, actually asking some relevant questions. Mina applauded when he forced the boys to really listen about periods and vaginas, snickering when he asked a blushing Ojiro to show him the clitoris on Mei's prototype. Surprisingly, Todoroki seemed to understand most of it, which was good considering he was the reason they had this lesson in the first place (when Kat had told the class Shinso and him were dating, Todoroki had said something about being careful not to end up pregnant. Todoroki was the most clueless of them all, no surprises). Sero cackled through it all, slowly sliding down his chair until his ass landed on the floor. Tokoyami murmured odes of darkness and prayed for... something. Mineta's respect for Katsuki had skyrocketed while Kat's tolerance for him had plummed so hard through the ground it must have touched the center of the earth.

In the end, Iida left in a hurry to get Aizawa (Katsuki had managed to prevent him from doing so earlier by saying it was for educational purposes, as surely Iida didn't want his classmates getting hurt if they were not correctly informed. The live performance of the "daddy kink" by Camie's illusions seemed to be last straw though).

Aizawa arrived just in time to witness the "tentacles kink".

Katsuki would never forget his face.

It was the last time Aizawa made him do something like this.

Today will be the last day that Kita and his fellow third year teammates would be having a lunch with the whole team. This would be also the last time that Kita will be giving advice to the team as their captain. The role of being the captain will be pass down to Atsumu. The other teammates were worried at first but when Kita told them the reason why Atsumu was chosen to be the captain made the team at ease. Kita believes in Atsumu’s potential as a captain which made the blonde boy more relaxed.

Tomorrow is the graduation of the 3rd years, so technically, tomorrow is their last day with the team but you being their manager you requested a lunch with the team today to celebrate their graduation and also bond with the third years before they part ways. And you being the manager that they all precious, (even Suna but he is just lowkey) agreed to your request but they have a condition (mostly it’s Atsumu). The get together will be on your house and you will cook for their lunch. Osamu volunteered to help you so he could improve and learn some tips from you in cooking. Since your house has a large backyard and also had this ‘outdoor kitchen’, you happily agree to their condition.

So now, here you are in the know preparing the ingredients you need for the foods you will be cooking, you also have received a message from Osamu that he and his twin are almost there in your house. So, you quickly the vegetables you need and started to cook the rice. More minutes passed by, with you chopping the vegetables, you’ve got another text from Osamu that they are already in front of your house. You washed your hands and went back inside your so you could go to the front of the house. When you opened the gate and saw the gray and blonde headed twin standing outside. Osamu is wearing the red track jacket of the team and under the jacket is a plain black shirt paired with a pale blue ripped jeans and a black high cute converse while his twin brother, Atsumu, is wearing a plain white shirt under his track jacket and it is paired with a black ripped jeans and white shoes.

“Hey, y/n! wassup”

“good morning, y/n, I brought the other ingredients you needed”

The twins greeted you when you have opened the gate and Osamu showed the plastic filled with the ingredients you have texted to him to buy on the way.

“Hi guys! Welcome to our family’s house and thank you, Osamu” you welcomed them and made way for them to enter. The twins went inside your house and as soon as they entered, they were fascinated with the interior and on how huge your house is.

“Wow, y/n, you never told us that you have this huge house” Atsumu said as he roams his eyes around the living room of your house. You chuckled at his reaction while Osamu rolled his eyes on his twin brother’s remarks.

“Well you’ve never asked me though” you answered making the blonde boy scrunch his nose with your answer. Osamu looks around your house and noticed that he has not seen your parents or anyone around the house except but you.

“Where are your parents?” the gray-haired boy asked you.

“My parents is at work today whule my older brother lives in his dorm in Tokyo then my other older brother is staying over with his friend today” you explained making the twins nod their heads.

“How about maids? Don’t you guys have maids?” Atsumu asked out of curiosity. You shook your head as answer to his question.

“My parents don’t want to hire maids because they want us to learn to do the house chores and not rely on other people to do it, so when do general cleaning, it’s like the death of us” you explained.

“well that’s kind of brutal but at the same time good for practicing independency” Atsumu commented.

“So where are we gonna eat our lunch?” Osamu said as he noticed that the inside kitchen is clean and there are no plates on the table in the dining area.

“We will eat our lunch on our backyard.” You answered the boy as you lead the way to the door that will make you three go to the backyard of the house.

“Where do you cook?” he questioned again.

“There’s a kitchen outside” you said which left the twins amazed, especially Osamu. He wished he could have two kitchens, that would be his paradise. With your lead, the three of you have reached the backyard of the house. You and Osamu went straight to the outdoor kitchen while Atsumu roamed around as he is so impressed with how wide your backyard is.

“WOW Y/N! YOUR BACKYARD IS HUGE!” Atsumu commented as he run around the backyard like when Rapunzel first timed to leave her tower. Osamu hummed as an agreement to his twin’s statement.

“Yeah, Y/N your backyard is huge even this kitchen.” He complimented the interior of the house, making you smile. “If ever I would have a kitchen like this, it will be heaven” Osamu joked making you chuckled and just shook your head with the twins’ fascination on your backyard and outdoor kitchen. Either more, you and Osamu started to cook and prepare for the lunch while Atsumu is still acting like a child and continued running around the backyard. You and Osamu started cooking for the team’s lunch while Atsumu explores your backyard, he also plays the role of the taste tester.

Soon, the member of the team started texting you as they have arrived r your house, you told Atsumu to open the gate for them and lead them to the backyard. Osamu is setting the table while you are doing the finishing touches of the food. You now hear the noises of boys talking to each other and being fascinated by the house and backyard. You now put the last food you and Osamu cooked on the huge and long picnic table.

“Woah, that’s a lot of food!” Akagi was astonished when he saw the foods on the table. You and Osamu greeted the whole team and they greeted you back.

“Suna, suna, look how big y/n’s backyard, we can play volleyball here!” Atsumu said as he run across the yard while Suna follows Atsumu with his eyes and stood beside you.

“Yeah, you have a big house, Y/n” Suna complimented as he roams his gray narrow eyes. You just laugh it off the comment and said a shy thank you. This is actually your first-time inviting friends in your ever since your 1st year of middle school. You never invited your friends or classmates in middle school but since the whole Inarizaki volleyball club is precious to you, you gladly invited them to your house.

“by the way, Y/N, where are your parents?” Kita asked you, making you to look at the captain from your back.

“oh, they are at work, Kita-san” you answered and the boy just nodded.

“well, let’s now eat these foods before it gets cold” Kita stated as he took a seat on the table while the other followed their captain. You called for Atsumu and Ojiro, who’s roaming around the backyard, and told them it’s time to eat. The two immediately went back to the long table and took their seat.

“Thank you for the food!” everyone thanked and they started digging in to the foods while you observe their reaction as the they take a bite to the foods you cooked. Even though you had made them a bento box before, you’re still nervous to what would be their reaction with your cooking now.

“this curry taste good!”

“hmm! You’re really good at cooking, y/n-san!” the team complimented. This made you feel relieved, knowing the whole team liked your cooking.

“Well, I wouldn’t be able to finish cooking these foods without the help Osamu” you acknowledge the gray headed man, who’s busy eating beside you. Osamu looked at you and gave you a soft smile which made you blush a little.

“I’m glad I could help you, Y/N-san” he winked at you that made you blush even more, if that could even happen, and this made his other teammates ‘ooh’-ed. Osamu rarely flirts with you, it’s mostly Atsumu who always gives cheesy lines that’s why you’re not used to it if Osamu flirted with you.

“Osamu, you’re such a flirt!” Atsumu commented at his twin’s remarks.

“So, what did Atsumu do here in your house? Did he help you guys?” Aran questioned you both Osamu.

“He didn’t do anything” Osamu bluntly answered Aran’s question which made the whole team let out “knew it” like they’ve expected it from Atsumu.

“HEY! I helped you guys, I brought out the things you need that was left inside the house” his twin brother protested as soon he heard Osamu’s answer. “I even grilled the yakitori and yakiniku” he added which made you shook your head as a denial.

“you put the yakitori and yakiniku on the grill the left!” you complained while the whole team watches as you and Osamu teams up against Atsumu.

“Oh, that’s why the other yakitori and yainiku look slightly burned” Ginijima sudden realization as he looks at the grilled chicken meat, pork and beef.

“Yeah! after putting them on the griller, he left and started roaming around the backyard again” you affirmed making Atsumu whined.

“Yah, Suna backed me up here” Atsumu calls Suna, who’s enjoying the tempura. Suna just gave him a glance and continued eating.

“You’re alone there, Atsumu” he said and took another bite of tempura making you chuckled.

“Atsumu, you should have helped Y/N and Osamu” Kita spoke making Atsumu looked at him with disbelief while you just chuckled.

For the whole time, you and the whole member of the club ate lunch and joke around each other. Suna always roast Atsumu whenever the blonde guy tries to say a joke and Osamu sometimes join Suna in roasting his twin brother which could lead to an argument with the two. When they sense the twin would start arguing, Kita will interfere and the twins would immediately stop.

After eating lunch, the other members went to the backyard and they started playing and chasing each other, while you were left behind to put the dishes on the sink. Osamu and Kita volunteered to help you in washing the dishes and cleaning up. You happily accepted their offer and assigned Osamu in washing the dishes then Kita on cleaning the table up while you dry the dishes.

After cleaning up, the three of you joined them who’s now playing dodgeball. The three of you stood beside Ginjima and Riseki, and watch Suna and Aran teaming up to make Atsumu lose the game.

“Why are you guys only targeting me?! hit Akagi-san too!” he complained as he kept on dodging the ball while Akagi is just following Atsumu goes back and forth.

“Our goal is to make you out of the game first, but–“ Suna halted then threw the ball to Akagi, catching the boy off-guard and getting hit by the ball. “you suggested to hit Akagi-san first, so I will take your request” Suna continued making Akagi groan while you and the other team let out an ‘ooh’.

“this is getting more interesting” you commented while Osamu hummed. He is very happy that his brother is getting teamed up by his other teammates.

“nice one, Suna!” Aran cheered while Atsumu tilted his head and sighed.

“I really feel like Suna hated me” Atsumu blurted making Osamu replied on the background.

“Your thoughts are correct! He does hates you” Osamu replied which Atsumu glared at his brother. Seeing Atsumu distracted with his brother, Suna gave a signal to Aran to throw now the ball and the boy did throw the ball, hitting Atsumu.

“why you– ow!” he was about to attack his brother but Atsumu got attacked by the ball, making the two boys he is playing with, scream with delight.

“NICE SHOT ARAN!”

“WAY TO GO ARAN!”

“NICE KILL”

You and his teammates applaud at his shot, while Aran and Suna high fived each other. Kita clapped at them like he was impressed with the teamwork his teammates did. Meanwhile, Atsumu glared at his twin brother while the gray headed boy smirked at his lost.

“YOU DISTRACTED ME, YOU SCUMBAG” Atsumu blamed his as he dashes towards his brother and catching yours and the team’s brother.

“well it’s not my fault that you get distracted easily” Osamu retorted making Atsumu growls at him. Meanwhile, you and team, who’s already used with how the twins fight, didn’t even budge to stop them because you guys know that they’ll be just insult each other.

“oh, you’re growling now, what are you? A dog?” Osamu provokes his twin brother more. You guys watched them silently like you guys are watching drama on the tv, enjoying the twins fight.

“Do you guys want some popcorn?” you offered to them and they nodded jokingly. Sometimes, you guys let them fight each other but when the things heat up, you and Kita will mostly the first one to step in. But for now, you will just watch them do their childish fight.

“I would love that, y/n” Suna replied making you chuckled.

“why you dickhead!” Atsumu stepped closer to his brother while Osamu looks at him boringly.

“Yes, my dick has a head, does yours have one?” Osamu answered back.

“HEY! I’m older than you for minutes!” Atsumu remarked and pointing his index finger to his brother.

“Well then act like one!” Osamu replied back. The team chuckled at Osamu’s remark while Kita just shook his head like he is so done with the twins.

“You guys, stop chuckling” Kita warned you and the team which made you all quiet and look somewhere else.

“And you two, stop fighting” Kita stepped in between Atsumu and Osamu, making the two boys stepped back from each other.

“When will they come that you two will stop fighting each other” Kita said with a stern voiced as he looks at the twins.

“well if he could–“ Atsumu stopped midway from his sentence when Kita gave him warning look.

“The two of you, stop fighting, let’s just enjoy this day altogether and have fun” Kita told the twins while those two nodded quietly at their captain with a pout on their face. This whole scene was nothing new to your eyes and the whole team’s but it still amazed you all on how these two get easily controlled by Kita. That’s why you sometimes called Kita as the mom of the team just because on how could handle the two boys and made them shut up. After the small fight of the twins, you guys continued to play around on your backyard until it was time to go home.

Today is the graduation of the third years, all of the team were at the gymnasium. The ceremony hasn’t started yet so you guys decided to meet up with Kita before it started. You guys waited for the third years to arrive on the gym, maintaining the silent, sometimes you Atsumu will talk but mostly everyone is quiet as they wait. Even though Kita had told you guys that they would be still there for the team, you guys can help but to sink it in that they will not be playing on the court again with the whole team.

Today is the day that reality hits you that this would be officially their last day being with you and you can’t help but feel sad. You wouldn’t be greeted by easy going Akagi, you wouldn’t anymore see the scary looking aura but has a soft personality Omimi. You wouldn’t ever hear Aran’s random dad jokes whenever you bumped on each other on the hallway or when they were on the break during training. Lastly, you wouldn’t hear those blunt yet wise remarks and advices from Kita every time the team are feeling doubtful. With those of realization, you can’t help but feel empty.

But on the brighter side, you feel proud and thankful with them, because they built this powerhouse team. Without them, this club wouldn’t be this stronger than ever. You’re proud of them as they would be chasing and be living their dreams. And you know that even though they are not around anymore, they will still be there to support the team.

Another minutes have passed of waiting when the gym door opened and the third years start entering. All of you gathered around the third years and congratulated them. The third years thanked you all and give the whole gym a last glance.

“I can’t believe this would be our last time stepping on this gym” Aran said as he looks around the gym.

“It feels like yesterday when I first stepped in here as a new recruitment of volleyball” Akagi reminisced while Omimi let out a hummed and Kita a silent yeah as their agreement. You can’t help but looked at them with a sad smile as you observe them.

“C’mon, let’s not be dramatic here and just think that you guys would just take one step up to achieve your dreams” Atsumu cheered his seniors up, shocking the whole team with his words.

“Wow, Atsumu coming from you” Suna commented making Atsumu crunched his nose.

“That’s his way to cheer his self-up when he feels sad” Osamu retorted making Atsumu glared at him. Atsumu opened his mouth to say something but Kita cleared his throat to warned the boy, making him shut his mouth again.

“Atsumu, you should be more mature, especially now that you’re the new captain” Akagi commented while Omimi hummed as an agreement. You can’t help but chuckled because of Omimi’s way of agreeing on things, you sure will miss his silent affirmation with what others will say.

“Yeah, you and Osamu should fight less and be a role model on your juniors now that you guys are seniors” Aran stated while the two just looked each other for a while then Atsumu let out a ‘tch’.

“Anyways, Atsumu, I believe you’ll be a great captain of this team. You guys should train well but at the same time take care of your health. Don’t depend on Y/n too much.” Kita said as he looks on each one of you. The team listens to their former captain attentively as they know this would be the last time, they would here these reminders from him.

“Atsumu and Osamu, don’t argue too much, don’t provoke each other” he reminded as he looked at the twins sternly.

“Don’t worry, Kita-san, if they ever started fighting, Y/n would be there to stop them” Suna said with a teasing tone on his voice as he smirks at you.

“Why me? I’m your manager not a referee!” you rebutted as you place your hands in the middle of your chest while Suna chuckled.

“You, Suna, stop provoking the twins to fight too and if they fight help y/n with stopping them” Kita scolded Suna making Atsumu smirk at the middle blocker. You and the other laughed at Suna’s reaction and on your thoughts, you are already teasing the boy when he got scolded by Kita.

“Anyways, we need to go now the ceremony will start any minutes now” Akagi said making your smile disappeared and this didn’t go unnoticed by Aran.

“C’mon, Y/n don’t be sad! Hear I have joke” Aran comforted you while the other boys quietly groaned when they he said he has a joke. You just nodded as a sign to continue what his joke is.

“here, why did a girl volleyball player lose his waitressing job?” he asked you, a smile was slowly growing on his face as he think of the joke.

“why?” you asked with a smile also growing on your face while the rest of the team just listened to his corny joke.

“because someone told her to serve the food” he answered as he let out a laugh on his own joke while you just chuckled and the rest of the teams looks at him with disbelief but they also had a smile on his funny.

“see you are smiling again” he stated when he saw you smile at his jokes.

“I know this day is quite sad but let’s look at the bright side! We could still visit you guys anyways” Aran said to you and you just nodded at him as an agreement.

“Well, we will get going now! See you when we could see you” Akagi bid a farewell and smiled at them. The other third years also bid their goodbyes before exiting the gym while you guys wave at them and told them to take care.

Another chapter has come to an end but this is also another chapter that they would be all facing together.
