this year's prompts were chosen through a suggestion poll (in which we recevied 2,281 prompts) and a subsequent vote, where over 1,000 people voted for their favourites. the top 29 make up the core prompts, and a mixture of the next most popular - and this blog's personal favourites - have become the alternates

DAN HENG was.. oddly uncomfortable but comfortable with the feeling of liking you. You two hadn't been together long, but the short amount of time had him noticing all the little quirks that you'd do, how you'd tap your pencil whenever you were stuck on a problem, the routine you had every morning and the little notes you'd leave for the trailblazers inside their rooms.

The part that made him feel a little iffy was that.. he wasn't used to being like this. He was never the type to care much about the quirks and habits of people, but considering the amount of time he spends with you (and staring at you), he can't really blame himself. He was absolutely smitten for you, so maybe those changes weren't so bad.

"You're so cute." He chuckles as he leans on his doorframe, catching you red handed as you stick the 'anonymous' sticky note on his desk. (Everyone figured it out it was you since you were the only one who wouldn't recieve one.) "Heyy, how did you catch me?" You say with a giggle, as he walked towards you and pulled you close from your waist. "The little things about you give everything away, my love."

Saying that MARCH 7TH adored you was an understatement. She absolutely LOVED being with you, all the time, everywhere. She'll be clinging onto you like a koala and if you're busy or Welt tells her to stop being so affectionate she'll pout and cross her arms. "Why can't I be with my partner?!" She'll say with an annoyed tone, "Because you have a mission, March." Welt would reply, rolling his eyes as you only chuckle in amusement.

You already knew how clingy she'd be, and infact you loved that about her, it was so sweet with how much she cared. She'll take and shoot thousands of arrows for you, to protect you and make sure you'll always be safe and happy to cuddle her before sleeping.

Speaking of which, shes in your arms, softly snoring as you two snuggle closely on her bed. You can't believe she's yours, the most pretty, bashful and caring girl in the universe. And she loved being with you the most.

BRONYA frowned as she stared at the clock in her office, 9PM. She was still forbidden to go home, and knew how lonely it must be for you. She was your lover, but could barely find time on most days to be with you. "It's okay!" She remembers you saying, but she can't help but feel guilty imagining all the times you slept alone in a shared bed.

The sound of her door creaking open caught her attention, and she watched as you peeked your head through the door and giggle. "(name)?!" She says with a shocked and confused voice, watching you open the little sling bag that you brought with you and pull out a lunchbox. "Eat. I know you haven't eaten." You demand, putting the neatly put together meal that you made for her.

Even if you had done this so many times, it still surprised Bronya every time you had these little surprise visits. "Dear.. I appreciate all of this but it'll be late if you leave now-" But a puzzled expression is plastered all over her face as she watched you make a little comfy sleeping corner with a pillow and a hood you were wearing as a blanket.

She sighs at your stubborn nature, knowing she won't change your mind. You notice her pulling up a chair and putting it next to hers, she sits down and pats her lap. "You can.. try and see if that's more comfortable." Finally, her worried gaze turned into a smile as you're eyes sparkled in delight. Before you sat down, you plant a kiss on her cheek and lay down on her lap.

"I love you, Bronya."

"I love you more, (name)."

Dating JING YUAN might be the hardest quest you've accepted, the DOZING GENERAL was on quite a handful of lists of men that parents want their daughters to marry. And hell, they've even tried throwing their daughters in his way, but he's effortlessly avoided them all. As you were the only person who had truly mattered in his heart.

He knew that his popularity can be.. suffocating. Even when he was simply courting you, he asked Tingyun to stop selling photos of him, so you'd know that he was completely serious on being a better man than he ever could be for you. But that alone can't stop the delusions of obsessed women, and Jing Yuan spent no time reassuring you that you're the only one who gets to hold his heart and say it belongs to you.

In a crowded area, his eyes never stray far from your figure that stands next to him and holds his hand. Despite the whispers, or the fawning women (and men), his eyes were locked on yours and his gaze wasn't going anywhere.

During his meetings (where he'd sometimes be dozing off..), he'd notice how you'd actually be paying attention and smiles at your adorable serious face like the most smitten man he is in the galaxy.

You can generalize it and say that Jing Yuan has made it so painfully clear to everyone that he was inlove with one person, and had no intentions of entertaning anyone else.

HERTA, despite her puppets scattered everywhere, her main body was always nervous when it came to being around you. Maybe you were used to it, always seeing her around, but she had not quite been used to human to human contact in a while. It's natural the way she tries to brush off the way she profusely blushes after your fingertips brush against her, because she's not used to spending so much time with someone as herself. She can't just pretend something isn't there anymore, because around you, she's just an absolute mess.

You watched Herta as she works on yet another puppet for the station, putting a hand on her shoulder as she jolts at the touch. "Hehe, no need to be startled. It's just me." You tell her, but she pouts a little in response. "I am an utterly perfect being. Little things such as that do not invoke fear in me."

Humming as a response, she finds it hard to find any interest in her work now. Why would she? You're right next to her, and you were far more interesting and pretty than any of the other things she's created.

She leans on you and you look down at her, "Hm? Have you lost interest in it already?" You ask, already familiar with her habit of losing motivation in a task when uninterested. She looks up at you and smiles a little. "How could I not when you're here? I might even say, you're the most interesting thing in my entire life."

GEPARD was a man who thought that loyalty was to be earned, not given freely. So when he had met you, his heart knew that no one was as deserving of his loyalty than you. You were apart of the Silvermane guards, and so naturally he was your leader. On the first day, you were very kind to not only Gepard, but your fellow guards as well. Many believed you were the kindness that the Silvermane guards deserved but never recieved, and he couldn't help but agree.

When you two began dating, he never noticed how much softer he had gotten. The way his gaze lingered on you when you left the room, the gentle kisses he'd plant on your cheek, and the way he enjoyed making you flustered. Those things were actions that the Captain didn't know he could enjoy, until you had come into his life, and practically changed the trajectory of it.

You were rambling on about something, and as usual Gepard sat next to you and listened. Smiling a bit at your excitement of whatever you were so passionate about, eventually his gaze went from your eyes, to your lips and at that realization he nervously looked away and stared at his shoes as if the most interesting thing in the world.

"Gepard? Are you alright?" You noticed how he he had looked away, and he was silent for a few moments before swiftly planting a kiss on your lips, something unexpected considering you were both in a public space. When he pulled away, a clear blush decorated his cheeks in such a color that made him look so pretty. "Sorry, I couldn't help myself."

SAMPO adores messing with you, little teases to get you riled up. (but never taking it too far.) How could he not? When you have such a pretty expression when you were getting teased. But other than that, he was surprisingly domestic. He liked cooking for and with you, washing clothes, eating together in the morning and generally just liked doing house work with you.

You'd wake up to breakfast in bed more often than not, and a smiling Sampo waiting for you to wake up in the side opposite to you. "Good morning, sleepy head." or "Good morning, sleeping beauty." on other days, he was such a sweet man to you, to a point you were unsure of what you did to deserve him.

And he knew you thought of that, so every night he'd whisper all the little things he grew to love about you. His own little way to let you sleep without a heavy heart.

You were the child of a swordsmith, YANQING adored swords. Need I say more? You two loved to go on and on about different swords, how they're made, how they're used and the history. Yanqing loved to talk about this with you, as many people thought he was almost crazy for his love for it, but you never judged him. That little thought alone made his heart flutter and eyes sparkle in adoration.

You let him be the little excited nerd he was whenever you invited him to your job, admiring the photos of different swords you helped make on the walls and if he was good, you'd make him a new one to take home.

"I love you! I love you, I love you, I love you!" He'd gush, admiring the newly forged blade in his hands as you chuckle a bit at his excitement. "Your welcome, love."

🌸🍀 Hello and welcome to our (first) Flufftober Spring Edition 🌸🍀

SURPRISE 😁

Yes, we've decided that one month of the year simply isn't enough anymore! So we would like to fill two weeks in March with as much fluff as possible 🥰 for that to happen, we present you with 14 prompts, some of them neutral, some very much sping-themed.

How does this work?

Pretty much like our regular Flufftober event in October, so you'll find all the common rules and info below the cut. Contrary to the big event though, this one here only runs for two weeks instead of the entire month, and we set the date from March 11th to March 24th! So prompt one is NOT supposed to be posted on March 1st but instead on March 11th! Prompt two is for March 12th, prompt 3 for March 13th, and so on...

Since this is a smaller prompt list, you also won't find any prompt extras to switch these out with, sorry. Maaaybe if this event is a success, we'll think about changing that in upcoming years 😉

Standard Blog Rules & FAQ

(Due to previous asks, we made sure to add more points to this section - while they're not new rules, they're new to this list, so you'll find them colored green)

No inc*st or p*dophilia - we can’t keep you from writing it or creating art for it but it won’t be reblogged. No inc*st: This rule does not apply to distant cousins and such, as you might find in the LotR fandom (or basically in all of European Monarchy). The line we draw is at direct blood relations (siblings, (grand)parents, kids) and/or legal guardianship. No p*dophilia: This rule does not rule out fandoms that feature teenagers such as Harry Potter, Heartstoppers, Hunger Games, etc. It also doesn't mean you can't write about their time together as teenagers! It's aimed at ships in which one is a minor and the other is not - but since even that has grey areas, the rule is this: if you keep it SFW, all is good and allowed, we don't care; if it turns NSFW, be mindful of the legalities of the world/society/times your characters live in.

No hate or ship bashing - we’re all different and we all love different things. As long as it doesn’t go against rule #1, it’s allowed.

Tag correctly! Trigger warnings (including cheating!), ships, ratings, (pure) smut, etc - it’s all fine as long as you tag it.

There’s absolutely no word count restriction, write as little or as much as you like.

In regards to art, anything goes: drawings, paintings, collages, mood boards, gif sets, videos, playlists… the sky’s the limit (though not really…). If you would like to create a podfic, the fic you're using does not have to be new - your creation will be new!

You can mix and mash different mediums however you like, be it within one prompt or on different days.

While we can’t force you to write fluff or create fluffy art, please try to keep in mind that this is a fluff event 😉 that, of course, doesn't mean you can't combine it with angsty/whumpy prompts - hurt/comfort is absolutely welcome!

You can start creating as soon as you see this - but please refrain from posting before the respective day.

If you post early, we will schedule your post for the correct day; if you use multiple prompts in one creation, we will post on the earliest day you used.

You can participate on as many days as you like, even if it’s just one; you can also create multiple entries for the same day.

You can replace as many original prompts as you like with our prompt extras; you can also combine them with the original prompts or create for them in addition, that's completely up to you.

It’s okay to write one story/a series for all the prompts.

You do not have to stick to one character, ship, or even one fandom - switch as often as you like to or even write for multiple ships for one day.

The ship does not have to be a romantic one! Friendship and family feels are more than welcome (but this is not a way to get around rule #1!)

Original works as well as OCs in fandoms are welcome! But please make sure to mark these clearly, either in the tags or the post itself. We're not familiar with all fandoms (though we're definitely learning a lot!), so we're not always sure what might be an OC and what might be such an unknown side character not even Google can find them...

Reader insert fics (for example "character x reader") as well as RPFs are absolutely allowed.

Other languages are also welcome - just make sure to clearly mark the day and fandom so that we can still easily reblog.

This event can be combined with other events as long as the other event allows it.

Late entries are always welcome, even if it is months or years later.

All fandoms and ships are welcome - fanon and canon - as long as they’re of age (in case you want to add smut) and not related.

Today is exactly 10 years since the LA premiere of CA:TWS! As good a day as any to release all of our prompts so you can plan for the anniversary event.

Kicking off on March 26th, we'll be celebrating a decade of CA:TWS with 8 daily prompts to choose from, ranging from thematic prompts and quotes, to more general prompts and character-specific ones. These can be interpreted in any manner you choose and do not need to be linked to the daily theme.

Guidelines:

There are no requirements to participate every day! You're more than welcome to do one prompt, or a few, or even all of them! The choice is yours!

Hey do y’all wanna do a Raph event for March?

We could call it March for Raph.

@therebelinred and I put together a prompt list. We kind of started with the idea of exploring his goofier side more, but honestly there’s a lot of angst-leaning prompts on here as well. We just like Raph all around, and thought this would be a fun one to share

Could be any iteration, any length, you could do one for each day or one for the month. I wrote this with stories in mind but all kinds of things could work—art, gifsets, short essay answer style—the prompts are super simple and wide open.

Prompts used, 2. "Some get the medic. Get the medic!" and 19. "I came as soon as I heard."

Summary: GM reader confronts Roman and his cousins in the ring after Roman refuses to defend his title at the next PLE. An argument ensues and GM reader ends up taking a spill out of the ring by accident.

"Don't you two have anything better to do?" You narrow your eyes at Grayson and Austin as they come through the door of your office.

"Not really, no." Austin shrugs and shuts the door behind him.

Grayson steps next to him and nods in agreement. "You'd know, wouldn't you, YN." He teases you.

"Giving me attitude, Waller?" You raise a brow at him. "Sounds to me like you two want a match against some tough competition. Maybe, the Street Profits? Or AOP?" You prompt the pair with a grin.

"No!" Austin protests. "We're good, thanks babe. Gray was just playing around." He insists.

You twirl your pen in your hand and laugh. "That's what I thought."

Your laptop dings with a new email and you glance at it to see if it's anything important. When you gloss over the header your face turns sour, which Grayson and Austin instantly notice.

"Something wrong, YN?" Austin asks you.

"You've got to be fucking kidding me." You grit your teeth. "Who in the hell does he think he is?"

Grayson and Austin share a small looks of worry before they both turn back to you. "Who? What's up, YN?" Grayson asks you.

"Paul fucking Heyman." You growl. "And that entitled asshat Roman Reigns. According to Paul, Roman won't be defending his title at the next PLE." You explain. "Not defending that title my ass."

Grayson and Austin watch you rise from your seat with a sour expression. You close your laptop and reach for the walkie-talkie sitting on the desk. "Tell Roman I want him in the ring in 10 minutes." You speak into the talkie in a firm tone. "Or his ass is suspended without pay."

"Umm, you want us to come with you?" Austin asks as you shoulder past him with a scowl.

"Sure. You two can make sure that I don't beat Paul to death in the middle of the ring." You reply.

Grayson and Austin both nod and hurry after you once you're out the door. You stomp your way through the backstage area like a woman on a mission. When you make it down to the ramp entrance, Roman and his cousins are already out in the ring with Paul at their side. You grab a microphone off the table and march out to the ring hellbent on ripping Paul and Roman a new one.

"You've got some nerve, Paul." You confront Heyman as soon as you're out of the tunnel. "And Roman. Oh, Roman. Tell me, who the fuck do you think you are?" You ask him.

"Miss LN." Paul remains calm and civil. "What can my Tribal Chief and I do for you?" He asks you.

You march down the ramp with Austin and Grayson at your side. "What? Do you think that because you're the great Roman Reigns that you get to decide when and where you defend that title?" You climb into the ring. "Newsflash you entitled part-timer! You aren't in charge. I tell you when and where you'll defend that title. And if you don't like it? Guess what? There's the door!"

"Pfft." Roman dares scoff at you. "Like you could do anything." He insists with a smug smile. "You're just the help. WWE is nothing without me."

"This company has been through must worse, trust me on that." You fire back. "And guess what? If that title isn't being defended by you at the next PLE in three weeks? Well guess what? It'll be vacated." You inform him. "Your choice, Reigns."

Roman stares at you and rises from the chair that was provided from him by Paul. His llp curls into a scowl but you don't budge from your spot in front of him. Solo and Jimmy both step up on either side of Roman and you have to laugh.

"You aren't the only one with goons, Roman." You remind him as Austin and Grayson step up either side of you to match Solo and Jimmy.

Roman snickers again and in an instant Solo and Jimmy are on Grayson and Austin. The four men break out in a brawl and you move to stay out of the way while they fight. You step back and call for security to come break up the fight before it gets too out of hand.

While you're calling for security Solo makes a move to spear Grayson into the corner of the ring. Grayson darts out of the way not knowing that you're standing behind him and Solo hits you instead. You get hit hard and fly back into the turnbuckle. Your head hits the pole hard and your vision blurs for a second as you fall to your knees.

"Holy shit!" Austin sees the hit first and scrambles past Jimmy. "Medic! Someone get the medic. Get the medic!" He shouts as he hurries over to you.

Not about to lose their jobs over this, Solo and Jimmy both back off. They slink off with Roman and leave Grayson and Austin to check on you.

"YN! Fuck, are you okay? I am so sorry!" Grayson realizes what happened and rushes over to you with Austin.

"Ouch." You groan and clutch the back of your head. "It's alright, Gray." You insist and wince in pain when your hand touches the back of your head.

The medical team all file out to the ring like their jobs are on the line. They push past Grayson and Austin and start attending to you. Grayson and Austin both stand by and watch helplessly as you get looked at and helped to your feet.

"Here, move. I'll carry her." Austin steps up when he sees you wobble on your feet.

"Austin, I'm fine. I can walk." You insist but your head throbs in pain with each step.

Austin doesn't take no for an answer and sweeps you off your feet. Grayson parts the ring ropes for him and rattles off a string of apologies as Austin carries you up the ramp.

Austin carries you all the way back to the trainers room and only sets you down when you're in front of an exam table.

"YN? I came as soon as I heard!" La Knight comes busting through the door a few seconds later in search of you.

You are busy getting looked at so Grayson and Austin walk over to Knight and fill him in on what went down.

"So she's going to be alright?" Knight asks Austin and Grayson, who both nod. "Good. That means you two can come with me without feeling guilty." He adds.

"Come with you? For what?" Grayson replies.

Austin steps over to Knight and looks at Waller. "To kick Romans and his cousins asses, duh." He explains.

"Yep. Come on." Knight nods and turns toward the door. "We've all got enough money between us to take care of any suspension fines."

Grayson and Austin both agree and the trio all file out of the trainers room before you have time to notice that they've gone.
