1. You are INCREDIBLY patient when replying to asks. You always politely link them to your FAQ or to your master post. For the bad faith asks, you always are kind in your responses. I wanted to give you kudos. Even though you are well within your right to ignore/skip these asks, you still put thought into your responses. I'm giving you some kind words because I just KNOW it would be draining getting the same messages all the time.

2. I'm a fat person, and I've got a whole host of body issues, but your Jessie really helps with my self confidence. She still sees herself as sexy, and Delia still sees her as sexy (probably sexier lol). I also loved your logic behind the character design: sometimes healing and stability bring weight gain. That in itself has made me feel a bit better about myself. Not trying to treat you as a therapist. I just want you to know the impact your Jessie can have. It's so rare that we see fat characters in a positive light! I do hate how many people have a problem with your design though. :(

3. Aroace James also makes me feel seen. I am coming to terms with the fact I may be aroace myself, and it's been hard. I've always loved James, and I'm grateful you've spun him into a character I can relate to. I'm always all over your blog looking for more James crumbs lol.

I appreciate it! I like to assume the best in people and always answer in good faith. While I wasn’t super vocal at the time, I’ve had my fair share of bad takes on the internet and I feel like those who responded to me with patience and understanding had a longer lasting impression on me and led me to change my mind later. Gave me much to think about. Not everyone’s entitled to that patience but I think there is merit to handling things with kindness sometimes. You never know who’s on the other side of the screen and what they’re saying could just be out of genuine ignorance. Sometimes someone putting it in a gentle way is just the push you need. A lot of the time, I think people just want to be heard and are also willing to listen if they don’t feel immediately shut down.

🩷 for my anxious, worrying souls: sometimes, it does feel lonely. it feels like you’re shouting into a void, surrounded by people, but still on the outskirts of the convos, the chats, the places, the fandom. it’s one of two things: perspective—your brain, as wondrous as it is, is also very cruel, and twists good things into bad (like a disney forest that if you go too deep into begins to look eerie) or you just need to find your person. the one you send all your thoughts to, the one who learns all the intricacies of your life, your routine, easily. it can be hard (and intimidating) to find them, but you will. they’re out there, waiting for you as much as you are for them.

General headcanons for Alfred as a boyfriend (SFW)

Here's my first actual post on this blog, hehe... I can't find the ask but someone requested some Alfred headcanons, so here are my rambles about what I think he's like as a boyfriend!

He’s honestly not the most traditionally romantic person. Your relationship is more like friends who make out sometimes. But he does have his own little ways of showing you he loves you!

He’ll put together playlists of songs that remind him of you. They’re mostly loose connections, like maybe a song mentions your eye color, or the lyrics remind him of a date you went on together, or it just sounds romantic and makes him wanna kiss you. He likes to sit with you while you listen (to every single song), and he interrupts the songs a bit to explain why he chose them.

“This one had me thinking what if we were dancing in a ballroom together, and out of nowhere, bam! Zombies bust in. The door crashes to the ground! Our dance turns into one of those cool fighting scenes with the—oh, this part reminded me of the time I woke up early and you were about to fall off the bed. You had a cute bedhead.”

(You have no idea what the lyrics are at this point.)

Dates with him are pretty casual, more like “hanging out” than anything fancy. Maybe you stay at home and watch movies/play games, or you go out for dinner at a local diner, or you go do awful karaoke together, or you go and prank a friend together.

He’s happy as long as he’s with you. Bonus if there’s food and/or drink.

He occasionally takes you out to a more traditional restaurant and dresses for the occasion. They’re usually expensive, too. The food isn’t his preference (too complicated for his palate), but if it makes you happy, he’s all for dealing with it for just one night.

His primary love languages are acts of service and quality time. He’s always doing what he can to help you out (and feel proud of himself in the process). Whether he helps you run errands, runs a bath for you ahead of time, or fluffs your pillow before you get in bed, it’s all because he wants to make your life easier!

He gets a little jealous if you ever spend time with your shared friends without him, or if you spend more time with others than him.

He’s so excited if you take interest in any of his hobbies. Movies? He’ll ask if you want to co-write a script with him. (He’s very relaxed about what exactly ends up in the script.) Archaeology? He has so many random facts to dump on you, and he’ll be super impressed by any knowledge you have on it. Conspiracy theories? Time to watch a bunch of documentaries! He enjoys them despite their flaws, but lets you know exactly when something is false and what actually happened.

He tries to take interest in your hobbies, too, even if he doesn’t understand what you’re talking about. It could be the most boring thing and he’d still listen and ask you questions about it. If it makes you happy, he wants to know all about it.

Pet names from him consist of things like babe, dude (💀), honey, occasionally sweetie, (jokingly… mostly) prince or princess. It’s all over the place. He’ll call you honey and dude back-to-back sometimes.

He loves debating if you’re comfortable with it! But be warned, he gets very heated about certain topics. His sense of justice is important to him. Otherwise, he’s usually not serious about these debates and doesn’t care who wins.

He tries to keep things light and doesn’t usually let people see his more serious side. He’ll open up to you more over time, however. It’s really him letting a wall down and allowing himself to get closer to you.

Every now and then, he has days where he’s a lot quieter and calmer than usual. He just wants to relax, stay on the couch with you and watch movies or simply chat. Maybe a movie chattering in the background as he tells you about his childhood. He doesn’t try so hard to keep up this energetic, heroic persona.

He’s right back to normal the next day like nothing happened.

Likes to annoy you for fun. Not in a mean-spirited way. He just thinks your responses are cute and has poor impulse control. Poking your cheeks or ruffling your hair or playing an obnoxious song loudly on the stereo while he dances. But he’ll back off if you’re genuinely upset with him. He means no harm.

He loves if you’re willing to play along with whatever he gets up to. Maybe he’s decided he’s going to try and vacuum the whole house while doing a handstand on the vacuum. You can hold onto his legs to help him stay balanced.

This man is very impulsive and has a tendency to get himself hurt. Random bruises all over his body or a cut along his forearm. He bounces back easily, and doesn’t want to fuss over it, but he lowkey likes if you baby him about it. He’ll always say how it’s not a big deal and he can take it, but his heart does this little flutter when you show concern, and even more if you force him to take better care of himself.

He burns himself in the kitchen and you force him to run it under cold water. He’s swooning inside.

He likes to gossip about others, especially over breakfast. He can’t help it; he’s just nosy, and he always has an idea of what’s going on and how he can help out. Huge bonus if you gossip with him!

He loves to feed you, but the majority of the food he brings for you is burgers or tubs of ice cream. He likes to experiment with the burgers’ toppings and seasonings, but they’re all burgers nonetheless.

Every now and then, he does plan some big romantic endeavor. It’s like a surprise. You never know when it’s coming… You wake up one morning and find out he’s booked a week long cruise, your bedroom is filled with balloons, and there’s enough breakfast food on the table to feed an army.

He does this thing sometimes (often) where he swoops in and has to save you. A puddle on the ground? No need to fear! He picks you up and swiftly carries you over it. The safest place for you is in his arms. He’ll even lay down and let you use him as a bridge if you want.

A suspicious penny on the sidewalk? LOOK OUT, IT MIGHT BE A BOMB! Let HIM step on it before you get blown up!

He steps on it. Nothing happens. Better safe than sorry!

If you’re the more independent type, that won’t stop him from trying. He just wants to keep you safe and have you appreciate his efforts. Being disinterested or resistant will just make him try harder.

Says cheesy stuff like “happy wife, happy life” unironically. He’s also the type to use terrible pickup lines to flirt with you. Totally unaware of how bad they are until you start laughing.

Evolution Line Spotlight: Vulpix and Ninetales (037-038)

There is, obviously, quite a contrast between these two pokémon. Let me just say this right off the bat: if you are a vulpix owner or are looking to adopt one, I would highly recommend not evolving them into a ninetales. The contrast in both safety risk and difficulty of care between the two stages is going to be more than most inexperienced owners could be expected to handle, as I’ll get into in a moment. Thankfully, an accidental evolution is pretty easy to avoid in this case, since vulpixes only evolve when brought into contact with a fire stone; so long as you don’t have fire stones laying around your home, you should be ok.

Anybody who has been reading this blog for a while knows that fire-type pokémon don’t tend to score very high in the pet-viability algorithm. Vulpixes score pretty highly for a few reasons, so I could recommend them to people looking to adopt this tricky type. As mentioned in the vulpix post (linked at the bottom of this one), they don’t have any open flames on their body, making them less of a fire hazard than most. I will caution you, though, that they do exhale flames when they feel like they need to cool off, so a vulpix would be a safer pet for someone who likes to keep their home nice and cool. The species’ friendly, non-violent nature indicates that they would be pretty easy to train, which is good when it comes to any pokémon with fire-type moves that could, you know, burn down a home. Overall, vulpixes would make pretty good pets!

When we turn to ninetales, however, it’s a different story. I really must warn you not to adopt a ninetales as a house pet unless you are an experienced trainer! This species is known in equal parts for their bitter, vindictive attitude and supernatural powers. From their ability to generate and control raging infernos, to their mind control power, to their alleged propensity for dishing out 1000 year curses, risking getting on one’s bad side in any way is a bad idea. No pet owner is perfect! I would not want my cat, who occasionally gets mad if she doesn’t get fed dinner twice, to put a 1000 year curse on me! Added on to all of this is the fact that ninetales are said to have a lifespan of 1000 years. I, like many pet owners, would love for my pet to live forever. When you really think about it, though, a pet that’s almost guaranteed to outlive you is a pet that you need to have a plan for after your death. A ninetales is a high-maintenance pet that you will need to pass down to another person, who then would have to pass it on to someone else, and so on. It would be a massive headache, and opens up plenty of opportunities for your pokémon to get abandoned or left at a shelter that may be ill-equipped for caring for fire-types.

I am a fan of both of these pokémon, but I would never consider adopting a ninetales as a house pet. A vulpix? Sure! I think they’re super cute, and they look like they’d be nice and warm and cuddly. I personally am pretty unlikely to go for a fire-type pokémon though, just because I’m in no financial position to risk a house fire! Call me over-cautious, I guess. Oh, and as an extra note: if you come across a vulpix in the wild, be very careful about approaching them! This is an evolution line where one must be cautious of protective later-stages like ninetales who might attack to protect the younger, less experienced members of their group.

You slowly cracked your eyes open, blinking from the morning light shining through your window. You can already feel the chill of the room on the parts of your face not covered by the massive amounts of blankets in your bed. You sigh contentedly and burrow just a bit deeper. It was the weekend and you had managed to snag some days off of your normal duties. You were in no rush to get up. You lazily shift to try to see the little digital clock you kept on your desk, just to see if you had to bother the kitchen staff for breakfast or not. Or maybe lunch? You really had no idea how long you got to sleep in for. 

When you poke your head up instead of seeing the little red numbers you were met with mismatched purple eyes. 

“Hi.” 

You jump up, flinging a pillow at their head. 

“Phantom what the fuck? How the fuck?” 

Your door is still closed and, more importantly, locked. 

“Ow” they say with a little grin “cool senses still work so this isn’t the afterlife.” 

“Why would this be the afterlife Ant?” 

“Well ya know how it’s been really super cold?” 

You nod, a little confused as to where this is heading. 

“Well last night I looked outside cause there was stuff on the windows and there was just” he gestures sporadically “stuff falling out of the sky and covering everything. It looked like ash, but it was too light to be ash so it obviously had to be a sign the apocalypse was starting.” 

Obviously 

You have to hold back a smile. 

“So what does that have to do with you magically breaking into my room?” 

“At first I was checking to see if you were dead and then you weren’t but then I was too scared to leave” his ears twitch as he recounts their thought process. 

Despite still not entirely understanding how they seem to be able to just poof into whatever room they want, you couldn’t be mad at him. Actually it was the exact opposite. You were very amused that he believed snow meant the end of the world. You couldn’t really blame them though, this was the first snow of the season. The first snow he and Aurora would see. 

You throw the mound of blankets off you and walk over to the window. You throw the curtains fully open and look out at the courtyard. You gasp and huff a laugh. There was so much. 

“What? What is it? It’s the angels isn’t it ohhh I’m not ready for this.” 

“Come and look Ant” you hold out your hand for them. 

They take it as they step over, squeezing immediately. He stands there facing the window with his eyes closed. 

“Open your eyes. I think you’ll like it.” 

He slowly blinks them open, making a little noise at how bright it is outside. When he finally takes a real look at the winter scene, his pupils dilate so much the black practically takes up all the color. 

“Pretty” he starts to purr, moving closer to the window. They’re practically pressed against it at this point, breath fogging the glass. 

“Why does it look like that?” 

“It’s snow. It’s what happens when it gets cold enough outside for clouds to freeze.” 

“It looks like those movies Dew’s been watching” you can hear his piercings jingle from his tail flicking.

That gave you an idea. You let go of their hand and move to your closet. You begin digging around for as many sweatshirts, hats, gloves, and coats you can find. You toss a bundle onto your bed for yourself. You poke your head out to eyeball Phantom whose face is now actually pressed against the glass. You sift through your clothes until you find enough things you think will fit them. You turn and toss the bundle at him. 

He makes a small noise when it hits him.

“What’s this for?” He asks, voice muffled by the layers of fabric on his head. 

“We’re going outside.” 

“OUTSIDE” 

They try to pull the sweater off their head but it gets stuck on his horns. You laugh and help him pull it off. 

“Yes outside. We’re gonna play.” 

You both get dressed in the snow gear and head out to the courtyard. Apparently you weren’t the only one who thought it would be fun to show the newest ghoul what snow was. The rest of the ghouls were outside already along with a handful of other Siblings. The moment you open the door, Phantom falls face first into the snow. He yelps and immediately springs back up shaking his head to get all of it off. 

“Cold! So very cold! It looks so soft, why is it so cold and evil?” 

“I told you it was frozen!” You laugh stepping out into it. 

He gingerly follows you out, very pleased when they realize the chill isn’t seeping into their boots. 

“Looks like Aurora had the same thought as you.” 

In the distance you both can see Aurora clinging to Mountain’s back. Ever from here you can see her shivering despite the massive pink puffer she has on. Phantom opens his mouth to say something, but they’re immediately cut off by a face full of snow. 

“Glad you could finally join us, Bug!” Swiss calls, waving from behind a very rough looking snow fort. 

You feel a snowball hit your back. You turn in the direction you assumed it came from. 

“Sorry Sibling! That was meant for Swiss, Dew just can’t aim.” Sunshine pops up from her own fort. 

“Hey who’s fucking team are you on!” Dew shoves a snowball into her face. 

“Are you gonna pick a side Bug?” Cumulus asks from Fort Swiss. 

“Side?” 

“For a snowball fight” you clarify. 

“They’re gonna fight?” He looks genuinely concerned for a moment. 

“Not a real fight” you laugh “they’re just gonna take a handful of snow and throw them at each other like this.” 

You bend down and scoop up snow, packing it until it takes the lumpy form of a snowball. You put it in his hand. 

“Now pick a target and throw.” 

“Are you gonna play?” 

“Absolutely not. I had bruises for days last winter. But you’ll be fine.” 

They look almost torn between you and the snowball, that is until another one knocks you in the head followed by laughter from Fort Sunshine. Without a second thought Phantom throws the ball, hitting Dew square in the face. The snow melts almost immediately and he looks pissed, though it’s very easy to see the amused glint in his ember eyes. 

“They’ve spoken! Get over here Bug!” Swiss yells quickly making more snowballs. 

“That’s my cue to leave. Have fun and don’t let them win.” 

You jump off onto the sidelines as Phantom runs and jumps behind Fort Swiss just as Sunny throws a massive looking snowball. 

You stand and watch the fight for a bit chatting with Mountain, Aurora, and Rain before the latter gets summoned by Dew for backup. Rain sighs, but there’s a smile on his face as he runs over. 

“Okay which one of you shits is throwing ice balls!” 

Swiss’ head pops up, eyes glowing gold as the snow melts off him. Rain avoids eye contact trying to hide his grin.

“Dirty little water ghoul, I thought we said no elements this year!” 

“Rora” Cumulus calls “Come help us!” 

Her tail flicks at the mention of her name. She stares at the snow for a moment. A fang filled grin crosses her face as she leaps off of Mountain’s back running over. You can already see her eyes turning blue as she calls her water to the surface. 

You watch the fight pick up in intensity. After a while Mountain leaves to go warn Aether and Omega they’ll probably be getting some visitors soon when Cirrus comes over with Ifrit. It’s at that point you realize you lost sight of Phantom. You scan the scene looking for any little bit of purple when you feel a tap on your shoulder. 

“Hi.” 

“Got tired of the fight?” 

They nod. 

“Do you wanna go see something cool?” 

They nod again, tail flicking with excitement. 

You take his hand leading him into the woods. You may not enter often, a bit fearful of Ivy and their hellhounds, but you had made this a tradition since you arrived at the Ministry. You knew this path well. You were so happy to share it with Phantom. As you approach your destination the noises of ghouls and Siblings playing have faded, you can hear the occasional shout but that’s all. 

“We’re here.” 

You lead him out of the wintery brush into a small clearing where normally a river cuts through. Now though, it’s frozen solid and shining like crystal in the bright light. 

“What are we—what are you doing!” 

You walk to the edge carefully testing your weight on the ice. Not a single crack. You slowly put both feet on carefully walking around. 

“Come skate with me Phantom.” 

He takes a tentative step onto the surface, mirroring your actions. Once he realizes he’s not going to fall through, he takes a step in your direction. He slips and nearly faceplants, but you slide over just in time to support him. You laugh, helping him regain his balance. 

“This would be so much easier if I had my claws” they scowl at the boots they’re wearing. 

“Yes but then you’d be frozen.” 

“Fair point but I think if I move I’m gonna fall over and die.” 

“You’re not” you squeeze his arm “follow my lead and trust me.” 

They cling to you, wrapping their tail around one leg. You slowly slide forward on the ice trying to get Phantom to copy the way your feet move. He seems to pick up on it as you move down the river. You two only get a few feet away from the starting point when he slips again, digging his claws in and clinging closer. You give him a second to compose himself before continuing the little journey. 

As you go, you pass a snowed over weeping willow and Phantom gives you a heart attack with the gasp he lets out. They scamper off the ice to the best of their ability to get a closer look at the way the frozen branches sag and glitter. 

“It’s so…”

“Beautiful.” 

You stand next to him brushing shoulders. 

“This is why I love winter. No other season can give you a sight quite like this.” 

You lean your head against them. 

“I think I love winter too.” 

“Really? Not too cold anymore.” 

“No” he laughs “I’m freezing, but everything is so shiny.” 

You hum a response. You two stand there for a bit longer admiring the winter forest before his fangs start clacking. You head back to the Ministry exhausted but happy with the day you had with Phantom. 

Back in your room, you’ve peeled off your snow clothes and hung them up to dry along with theirs. You sit on your bed messing with your snow damp hair while Phantom sticks his face directly in front of your heater. There’s a knock. 

You open the door to see Sunshine grinning at you. 

“Phantom I think you’re being summoned.” 

“Again?” 

“I’m not just here for them” Sunny says “I also wanted to see if you maybe possibly wanted to join us in the den for movie night. Dew feels bad for pelting you twice but he wouldn’t admit it.” 

“What’s in it for me?” 

“Swiss made hot chocolate and ghoul hugs.” 

“You had me at Swiss made” you turn towards Phantom “Ant grab a blanket or two let’s go to the den.” 

You end up cuddled up with Phantom on a couch, buried under blankets and purrs vibration around you. Swiss brings a tray in with a mug for everyone, a bowl of marshmallows and sprinkles, and whipped cream. Dew is hunched over a box sifting through the dvds. He jumps up immediately, taking it to the player when he finds what he’s looking for. 

“Seriously? Christmas Carol again?” Swiss teases.

“Hey nobody complained when he wanted to watch Nightmare Before Christmas every time they got to pick I don’t wanna hear it.” 

Phantom flusters a little at Dew’s callout, mumbling into his mug. You grab the one meant for you and settle in, getting cozy with Phantom beside you. 

The day ends just like how it began. Covered in blankets with a ghoul nearby.

My fave marauders ships and dynamics as a multi-shipper !! Ok so, there are certain ships I like to imagine as canon in the canon universe, and there are other ships that I prefer in aus and such but still ship them so much!! So I thought I’d just ramble abt them here lol.

My fave ships that are canon/I think I should be endgame:

First off, Jily ofc. My loves. I’m generally not super excited abt str8 couples but they’re just too cute. My fave dynamic with them is that they’re academic rivals — well at least lily thinks they are, James is just hopelessly in love with her and enjoys competition lol. Lily thinks he’s an idiot, immature and a bit of a bully at first but slowly warms up to him as she sees his kind-heartedness and stance on justice. Plus, she’s always found him a little hot :)

Wolfstar, duh. I don’t think I have to go into detail coz I already do so much on my blog lol.

Dorlene — aaah I love my tragic, angsty lil lesbians. Sucker for the quidditch-rivals-to-lovers trope. Ooh and i headcanon Dorcas as transfem. But yeah if you’ve read ‘the hands that feeds’ by rollercoasterwords that’s basically how I see their dynamic.

Rosekiller — ok, ok. I know I’ve ranted abt how I don’t like the fanonization of their characters in fandom,, but I will admit I do like them together. Especially when they’re depicted as the awful people they are lol. I like to think that they’re still hooking up in GoF on nights where barty’s poly juice wears off lmaoo. Also random but I hc Barty to be in ravenclaw.

Pandora x Xenophillius (idk how to spell his name) — I like to imagine Pandora as a goth who runs an underground magical weed business and Xeno as a hippie weirdo and conspiracy theorist. Both are bi/pan tho and have def hooked up with ppl of the same gender before.

Andromeda x Ted Tonks — iconic. Love them. Andy was the og rebellious black family child.

Emmary — love, love this ship. For context, I picture Emmaline as a little older than Mary (maybe 2 or 3 years) and they meet when Em’s at the order. Mary’s a bisexual girlie who’s predominantly been with men at this point, and Em’s a big Butch lesbian who loves Mary so much but isn’t sure if Mary likes her back, at first. Ofc they end up together after the first war but when Em wants to join the second war, Mary oblivates herself and retreats to the muggle world entirely because she cannot bear more pain.

My fave ships that I like to think are semi-canon, as in their unrequited, or right person wrong time, or both have feelings that the other doesn’t know — they just don’t workout for some reason:

First off, Marylene — my absolute fave, right person, wrong time ship. Love the whole, ‘Marlene loved her too early, Mary loved her too late idea’. I’m a sucker for best friends to lovers ahhh. I imagine that Marls had crush on Mary since they were eleven and came out to her later, and although Mary was supportive she didn’t like her back at that point. Then Marls got with Dorcas and maybe Mary got a tad bit jealous. And then Marlene was killed ofc so Mary moved on and went with Emmaline, but she never really stopped loving Marlene.

Nobleflower — bi narcissa and Alice rights!! I like to think that they had a bit of a homoerotic friendship back in their hogwarts years, but the fact that they were on opposite sides eventually pulled them apart. And so Alice gets with Frank and Narcissa with Malfoy. Aaah so tragic I love them

Lily x Remus — I like to think Lily had a little crush on Remus when they were younger but she got over it and they became besties !!

Bellatrix / Lady Zabini — Toxic murder comphet lesbians!! Tho I imagine they ‘broke up’ their fling coz Bellatrix was murdering with pure blood fascism in mind,,, and lady Zabini was just like,, why can’t we just kill ppl for the sake of killing them?? 🥺🥺

Jegulus — ok so I don’t like jegulus as a canon(ish) ship, buuut I love me some unrequited jegulus, specifically from Regulus’ side coz sorry I just personally don’t see James ever liking Reg in canon. I imagine Reg goes into hogwarts wanting to hate the guy who stole his brother but ends up falling for him just the same. He has internalised homophobia and hates the fact that he’s gay, esp for someone like James lol.

Bartylus — My hc is that neither of them liked each other romantically, but they settled and got off each other to pass time. It’s transactional, at least it’s starts off being..maybe barty’s a little more into it than reg thinks they are.

Peter/Bertha Jorkins — I like to imagine they dated for awhile during hogwarts — until Bertha got bored of him and dumped him. Peter never really got over it and was still bitter.

Peter/Sybil — oooh I remember this one was trending on marauders tik tok awhile back but I’m still not over it. Happens after Bertha/Peter. Sybil breaks up with Peter maybe coz she gets a prophecy that he becomes evil. Peter is confused and heartbroken.

Snily — ok hear me out!! I don’t care for their portrayals in a lot of fics coz I think the pro / anti Snape bias is always there — but I would be open to exploring the complexity of their dynamic in a fic when snapes actions aren’t justified or excused, but he’s not portrayed as a one dimensional bad guy. And I think it would be interesting to explore more of Lily’s character and why she stuck by him so long.

Peter Parker

Oh poor Peter, he’s just got so much going on. With Aunt May and the house, him tryna find a stable job, his relationship with MJ, and now prioritizing his friendship with Harry, he’s being pulled in so many different directions it’s honestly dizzying!

There’s so much going on in his life that I wouldn’t be too surprised if he developed some anxiety around it. Like we know Peter for being this quirky, goofy kid who’s got hella jokes and can rock your ass in a science test, but when he’s alone, the turbulence of his life gets to him a little. And it’s not like he can let anyone really know - he’s Spiderman for crying out loud! If he goes down, who knows how the rest will take it.

And of course the Venom Symbiote doesn't make things any better - Pete’s whole acting like an ass thing wasn’t intentional by no means necessary, but I think that would also play into his anxiety as well. He doesn’t want to ever hurt his friends the way he did with that symbiote in him - they’re the last thing he has.

On a completely not depressing note, I feel like having the house to himself gives Peter the opportunity to really figure out his own aesthetic. Sure, he’s the cute nerdy heartthrob guy, but he wants to expand himself! I feel like he wouldn’t be into the super modern high tech home decor that’s been sweeping through every interior designers palette - I see him as a mix of warm country house vibes (courtesy of Aunt May), with a hint of the technological advantages that he’d implement into certain appliances and spaces (*coughcough* at home lab *coughcough*) and a finishing touch of midcentury modern for a pop of color….it won’t stop him from being a bit of a slob though unfortunately.

Mary-Jane “MJ” Watson

If i were her I’d be one critique away from giving Mr. J.J.Jameson a taste of his own desk, because oh my god the self-centeredness he possesses makes me want to vomit. But it’s a good thing I’m not, and our darling redhead angel has enough patience to deal with him for the sake of a bag - I applaud her for that.

I know a lot of people don’t like the MJ segments in the game but i actually appreciate them! Shows that she’s not just a pretty face that Pete falls in love with you know? And I like to think she actually likes the moments she gets to take down the Hunters because it makes her feel like a badass - which she totally is!

As a destresser from being a prime member of the Spider Team (yes, I’m claiming them as the Spider Team since Spider Squad is already taken) and her journalism job, I’d like to think she’s into something so niche like jewelry making - specifically little charm bracelets that she gifts to the others. Yknow, on some ‘friendship lasts forever’ type shit.

Also in her freetime she has writing projects on the side that she wouldn’t consider viable enough to send in as a story, but just fun little stories she’ll write for the hell of it. There’s nothing too specific about them, but they also serve as a way to track how her writing is progressing, and she’s in a group of beta readers of sorts that give her feedback on how much better she’s getting.

Another poor boy that just has way too much on his hands, good lord. Granted, I never saw the hype around Harry, but I think after this adaptation of him I might be warming up to him a little bit.

Harry Osborn

Getting on the bandwagon of adopting new hobbies, I see Harry as getting into drawing, especially during the period in which he doesn’t have the suit. Since his health is deteriorating and he isn’t able to be as mobile as he would like, he needs something to keep his mind and hands busy. And drawing does the trick for him. He starts off with just basic drawings like items in his room, but he advances very quickly and starts drawing portraits of himself and MJ, who spends a lot of time taking care of him. He symbalso sketches a picture of him and Peter when they were in highschool over and over again, especially when he runs out of muses.

Harry also spends a lot of his time thinking. Thinking about his life thus far, his friends, the legacy he wants to leave behind. He doesn’t just want his last name attached to something to make it great - he wants to earn his keep and his place in society. It was the whole reason he started the Emily-May Foundation; it would have been his mark on the world, and yet, here he was, tied down to his bed once again. Then again, who knows if the symbiote would have done the same to himself, had he let his own convictions get too far?

Considering what happens at the end of the game, though, I suppose we won’t ever know…until the next installment that is.

Miles Morales

Why are there so many poor boys in this game? Like I got enough sympathy to go around but Jesus save these guys!!!

He is a HEAVY romantic, especially when it comes to Hailey (so so SO happy he got his girl in the end was rooting for them so hard in his game). He plans their dates according to the mode and vibe of the day, whatever the two are feeling, whatever is mentioned in fleeting conversations, etc. He’s in love and proud of it!

He’s getting better at dividing up the attention to the important people in his life, as well as school and his Spiderman duties. Sundays are for him and his mom to lounge in their pajamas and catch up with each other on the weeks events; he hangs with Ganke throughout the week and sometimes goes out with him to science expo’s every now and then. He’ll pop up on Hailey whenever she’s in the neighborhood and just sits and chills with her (and if she’s working on a street piece, even better! He’s her no. 1 supporter!)

He, Peter and Ganke get into rubix cubes competitions to see who can complete the rubix cube the fastest. Right now Ganke is ranked number one and Peter and Miles are tied for second place, but they’re getting another, more difficult cube to compete again soon.

He’s got a big heart, and knowing the effects of everything that’s happened with Harry, Miles makes it a point to check in with Peter every now and then. He’s lowkey worried that if the older Spiderman’s worry for his best friend doesn’t do him in, then somehow the effects of the Venom symbiote on Peter’s psyche will turn him cold again, and that doesn’t end well at all. He does this well with MJ, and they talk frequently on how they can be better support for Pete and Harry in the aftermath of everything that’s happened.

Somethings it would include:

- Kit tweeting publicly about his angsty feelings for Ty (convinced he’s safe bc Ty would never be on twitter)

- Dru and Kit have a snap streak through which we see snapshots of there povs

- Dru teaches Ty about Tumblr where he has a blog about the cases he’s investigating (he uses fake names—but shadowhunters would never see it so he’s safe) and Ty gets a ton of ppl following his blog for updates

NPD culture is thinking a post you made is amazing and super cool and that it’ll blow up and get so much interaction— only for it to get like, next to no interaction. And you fucking crash because WTF I put so much effort into that?!? And the posts that do get more attention are ones you put less effort into and/or assumed wouldn’t be as popular. Like wtf!!! This is a personal insult!! I put in effort, no one likes it. I put in no effort, no one likes it either! What is the magical fucking recipe for people to interact with me?! I use the tags, I interact with other creators— yet NOTHING!!! I put ten times as much effort in as those other creators do, and yet they get so much more interaction than I do!!! Is the algorithm rigged? Is it because they have more followers and I’m getting overshadowed? Am I not using the right tags? Is it because they’re popular for the wrong reasons but I’m too good to stoop to their level and should obviously be the more popular one? I swear it happens every single fucking time, and it’s starting to really piss me off! I want to go rabid and maul those people I swear.

And while I’m still here— what’s with my followers never interacting?!?!?! The people who follow me NEVER like my posts. And that’s not an exaggeration! It’s been MONTHS people!!! I’m a huge Multishipper and find the merits of almost any Ship for Bob’s Burgers. I’ve seen so many good content for so many lovely ships!! Here are some of my favorites (and the blogs that produce the best content for these ships):

Tina/Josh is so underrated, in my opinion. The show did make it so they’ll never be canon (probably), and Josh didn’t get nearly enough screentime, but I think they’re adorable. I loved them so much in Linda-Pendant Woman, with Tina pulling a Prince Charming and trying to find who Josh’s bandaid belonged to. And their Fresh Feed kiss!! Tbh, I kind of ship them the most (please don’t come for me) and they’re super cute. But the show’s most likely not going to do anything else with them. They have a ton of potential, and I wish they spent more time fleshing Josh out as a character. If they had, this ship had the potential of being as good or even better than some of the other ships with Tina. I also definitely headcanon Josh as Bi. That boy is not straight in my opinion.

Tinimmy is such a classic, I adore it and all of the lovely content that @drawthethingdoppelganger and @jimmyjrsmusoems have put out. These two are the absolute Tinimmy Queens, so if you want Tinimmy content, go to their blogs immediately!! It helps that this ship is basically canon, and Jimmy Jr. is such an awkward dork 😭 He doesn’t know how to express his emotions, but he does care so much about Tina despite what some people say 😒 It’s so frustrating when people always put J Ju down because of one episode (V For Valentine-Detta). Yes, it was a jerk move, but he’s a flipping middle schooler!! And it wasn’t even that bad, anyway. And one bad move doesn’t erase all of the lovely things he’s done for Tina. Like finding her Barrecklace and saying it made him think of her?? Wanting to do a Sky Kiss with her?? Agreeing to go on a date to Pie in the Sky even though he’s not really a fan, and inviting her on a completely genuine date to Fro-Yo Mama?? Come on, these two are adorable. And they deserve a coffee date sometime if DT’s recent art is anything to go by. I also headcanon Jimmy Jr. as Bi sometimes and a heavily closeted Gay boy other times. It kind of depends how I’m feeling, pffffft. @br1ghtestlight has headcanoned him as Aro/Ace, and that’s a fun and valid interpretation too, but I usually feel as if he does have some sort of interest in Tina romantically. I’m not sure. I guess it depends??

Zekina is so cute even though I don’t ship it as much as the other two. Zeke wanting to take Tina on a date to the aquarium and then out for tacos is just so adorable!! But it always annoys me so much when people say that Zeke is obviously the better choice for Tina and is always nicer to her and always has her best interests at heart. Like, Zeke is a sweetheart, but he’s had his moments of not being great to Tina. He’s a teenager just like Jimmy Jr. He’s not obviously the better choice for her just because he suggested that date of tacos and touch tanks. Zekina is lovely, and I respect anyone who ships it and makes content for it. I definitely see the appeal. But people really need to stop coming for Jimmy Jr. Yes, I will keep yelling about this forever 😭 Anyway, if you want some of the best Zekina content, you must go to @theangrypomeranian’s blog right now. You should absolutely read Baby Steps!! I started it but haven’t gotten far because of the length, but everyone should go read it and support them!! @br1ghtestlight has also written a Tina and Zeke fic (though they might just be platonic there) that I still haven’t read yet, but everyone should go read that too.

Zeke/Jimmy Jr., aka Zesto (not sure if that’s their actual ship name, but it should be) is great. It has so much potential, and I ship it a ton. I tend to ship Tina/Josh and Zeke/Jimmy Jr. the most, not because of Jimmy Jr., but because those are the ships I just enjoy the most and I think have the best potential/chemistry. But plenty of other ships have lovely potential and chemistry too!! Anyway, these two can be read equally well as platonic besties, but them being together romantically intrigues me. It would be a ton of fun, I think. They would definitely be a chaotic couple, but a cute one. I mean, Jimmy Jr.’s reaction when he thought Zeke would start going to a different school?? He was so stressed!! And Zeke always wanting to wrestle with J Ju as a sign of affection? And agreeing to do things like help J Ju get a chicken nugget in his mouth? I love.

Genecadero is adorable and @dianadeadwing has made such cute artwork for them. Gene doesn’t have many ships, and I probably enjoy this one the most. It’s definitely a rare pair. Gene deserves a cute romance with a sweet partner!! It’s weird to me when people sometimes say that Gene is too young for that when the show already tried giving him a straight relationship with Courtney. Yes, they broke up, but still. The showrunners are clearly open to giving Gene a relationship. I love the idea Diana brought up of Peter not-so-subtly having a crush on Gene and Gene just not getting the hints. But I like to think he becomes super lovestruck and a super doting partner when he’s older.

I’m cheating and putting Gene/Alexis (I came up with a super cute ship name for them now now I can’t remember what it is ☠️ Does anyone want to help me come up with one??) on here, because I was like “Welp, if others don’t want to give Gene many ships, I’ll make one myself!” I’ve grown very attached to Alexis as an OC, and I’ve suddenly realized he has similarities to Alex 😭 I imagined them both as being voiced by Thomas Middleditch, their names are similar, and are both kind of nerds. But I think that’s where the similarities end. I definitely wanted Alexis to stand out as a character, and I think he’s still different enough from Alex. Anyway, I can’t help but talk about these two, they make my heart sing. I will never get tired of making content about them or just rambling about them like here.

Gene/Sasha is such a rare pair, and the enemies to lovers potential?? Amazing, actually 🤌🏼 If this ship wasn’t so rare, I think it would have Louigan potential, tbh. I love the idea of these two talking more and bonding, because let’s be real, Sasha is 1,000% not straight. Just look at him. Their ship also kind of reminds me of Dipcifica from Gravity Falls, with the rich kid potentially opening up and becoming a better person thanks to someone else’s influence. I just love a good Enemies-to-Lovers romance, and the potential they have for banter is immaculate.

Ahhh, Roudise (aka Louwheeze, which is an incredible ship name), is just the cutest thing on earth, I adore it. I love a good Friends-to-Lovers, and I think I just have them on the brain because of Roudise Week. They’re just adorable and basically canon like Tinimmy. I probably ship them the most?? They just make me happy. I love how Rudy brings out Louise’s softer side, and Louise helps bring Rudy out of his shell. Their friendship is precious, their potential romance even more so. I just have a lot of thoughts about these two, they make me happy. Also, Louise slapping Rudy after kissing him in Bob, Actually sends me every time. Louigan!! This ship is great too. I don’t understand why people who ship it get blocked. There’s so much potential there!! Again, Enemies-to-Lovers is one of my favorites. And their potential for banter?? Amazing. Incredible. No notes. If you want the best Louigan content, you must go to @babsvibes immediately. I started reading Stacy’s Cardamom, which is basically her Magnum Opus. I haven’t finished it yet, but it’s incredible and everyone should go read it. She’s truly the Louigan Queen and got me interested in this ship in the first place. And she was kind enough to invite me onto the Louigan Discord, which has been an absolute blast (even though I hardly share anything Louigan on there ☠️). I want to change that and make more Louigan content. I have a lot of ideas. Y’all better watch out if Louigan Week happens again next September 👀 Louigan Week was also amazing this year!! Everyone show Babs some love for running that incredible event.

Louissica is cute and has potential. I feel as if it’s quite similar to Roudise as a cute, charming Friends-to-Lovers. But Jessica just needs to appear more and be more developed as a character, because she just hasn’t appeared enough for me to have as many thoughts about this ship as all of the others I’ve listed so far. I loved them hunting for that Wharf Monster together, that was such a fun side plot. And them bonding at Louise’s sleepover when she’d driven everyone else away.

BOBLIN. If there’s a ship from this show I love the most, it’s Boblin, no contest. There’s a reason my very first ask to DT was Boblin-related. But I’ve rambled about them enough, so I’ll try to keep this short, pfffffft. They’re an example of a couple that’s as close to perfect that I’ve ever seen. They’re so sweet you’ll get a cavity, they’re domestic, and they’re ancient as hell muppets. What else could you want?? I love how their love stems not just from huge, loud, romantic gestures. It also stems from more quiet, subtle moments. Like Bob massaging Linda’s feet. Or Linda deciding to give Bob a quiet night in for his birthday, because she realized he’d enjoy that the most. Or Bob making her a heart-shaped pancake on Valentine’s Day. You get the idea. If you want the best Boblin content, then @jimmypesto is your girl. She’s written some of the best BB fics I’ve read, and the way she writes Boblin is unmatched. She’s such a talented writer, it’s insane. She’s also written a ton of Boblin smut, if that’s your thing!!

Frondbrose is wonderful. These two also have such good chemistry and banter, it’s insane. Their Enemies-to-Lovers potential is insane. I wish they were canon so bad. They definitely need to interact more. Mr. Ambrose showing his softer side for Mr. Frond is just so adorable to me!! This man would be the epitome of “I hate everyone, but I don’t hate you 😌” They make me all giggly. I can’t get enough. They’re definitely the type to have Hate Sex once and then deny it ever happened 🤣. But everyone would know the truth.

Tedmort is so cute and has so much potential. I love it. I think Teddy and Mort’s friendship is precious already, but a potential relationship between them?? The wholesomeness meter would be off the charts. They can be an ancient muppet couple like Bob and Linda!! Mort would treat Teddy 1,000% better than Denise, but tbh, anyone else would treat Teddy better than Denise. If you want Tedmort, then @keepyourhornson-spyro is the person for you!! They’ve written some lovely Tedmort fics that everyone should read.

Marshmallow/Nat has such potential, and there should be content about them!! It just seems like such a fun ship, and I think being with Marshmallow would help Nat get over her ex-girlfriend. These two also share a similar vibe of just coming and going as they please, and “being truly free” 😌 I still love that Marshmallow is canonically Trans and Nat is canonically a Lesbian. They’re wonderful.

Hemita is a canonical rarepair, which I didn’t think was possible, but here we are. I think they’re so cute and definitely good for each other. Susmita asking out Henry in Morse Code?? That was adorable. We need more moments of these two being cute. I love them.

Barryl is such a rare pair and has won me over so much. There’s just something that makes sense about these two being together that’s difficult to describe. There’s something so sweet about Becky being able to find love after being unlucky with Jimmy Jr. Darryl would be such a sweet boyfriend to her, and she would be such a sweet girlfriend in return. They would be so cute holding hands and listening to the Frozen soundtrack on repeat. Sure, to ship them, you need to ignore Rosa, but she was only in one episode anyway. I gotta shout out @theangrypomeranian again for basically creating this entire ship herself. Amazing.

Arnlee is such a gigantic rare pair it’s insane, and they’ve definitely won me over too. They’re so cute!! They’re just two socially awkward kids who would work really well together. They deserve to have some sort of side plot where they bond. I would love that. @devilh0rnsinc made the cutest art of these two together for @ltwharfy, and that was what officially won me over. That and @ltwharfy’s adorable fic about them which everyone should go read.

I might cut myself off there, because this post is insanely long. But it just goes to show how many lovely ships there are in this fandom. And they’re all valid. Seriously, can we please just respect each other and who we ship??
