Trialling new medication (adhd), started yesterday. He has meds to make him sleep. Had them at 8.30. Didn't even touch the sides. Just gave him another one now in hope it'll make him sleep.

Started drinking coffee to keep the nightmares at bay and sleep deeper and it is so disgusting that I have contemplated (more than once) cutting ties with anyone who claims to love it (this cannot be possible).

Everyone has suggestions on how to make it taste better and none of them work because no matter how much flavor I put in it, it still tastes like dirt. Friends, family, coworkers, clients, everyone has failed me.

What does make it slightly more palatable is making the same faces and noises that Felix from Stray Kids makes when he drinks coffee and then smiling to myself over our shared disgust for bean water.

Basically what I'm saying is that Felix is my only friend now and all of my relationships will now be replaced by this parasocial one based on this single connection alone.

Autistic Ghost Headcannons

- Intentionally ignores social cues

- Scowls all the time at everything and everyone but usually not on purpose

- Takes full advantage of his ear defenders and balaclava to avoid sensory experiences he dislikes

- Incredibly restrictive eating, often chooses to go hungry rather than touch something he dislikes

- One of his favorite stims is smelling Soaps hair

- Gets overstimulated by certain things but is also very sensory seeking in other ways

- Wears tight gloves and sleeps under four weighted blankets because he likes the pressure

- Stims by making a tight fist, chewing his lips, scratching, hitting himself, leaning against things, rocking, pacing, rubbing the seam of his balaclava, tapping his ear defenders

- One track mind, he hates switching tasks and never does more than one thing at once unless it’s a hundred percent necessary

- Wears a mask largely to hide his scars and identity but it has the added benefit of keeping him from having to worry about making the correct facial expressions

- Very prone to dissociation

- Violent meltdowns, tends to have a vicious temper and destroy everything around him, hurting himself or anyone else unfortunate enough to cross his warpath

- But eventually when he’s in private he ends up just curling into himself and crying and rocking like he did as a kid

- It makes him feel incredibly vulnerable and he goes to extreme lengths to avoid the meltdowns which is a huge part of why they’re so bad

- Only Johnny and sometimes Price can calm him down

- Everyone else just thinks he has an explosive temper for no reason

- Ties his boots dangerously tight to get more sensory input

- Thrives under military routines but ignores rules that don’t make sense

- This definitely caused problems with COs in the past but Price is way more understanding and generally the 141 gets a lot of leniency on rules because of the type of work they do and the specific value of their skill sets

- Soap sleeps on top of him and always squeezes his hand a little too hard

- Hides in his room when overstimulated and shuts down completely, will literally disassociate for hours until Soap finds him

- Obsessively neat, nothing is ever anywhere other than where it’s supposed to be

- Doesn’t mind loud sounds but hates multiple sounds at once

- Explosions and gunfire are usually fine as long as he has his headphones but people talking and eating all at once in the mess makes him want to cry

- Absolutely despises crowds and will get very agitated and pissed off before eventually checking out until Johnny can get him back to a quiet space

- Soap letting him have the best vantage point when they go out because of how bad Simons PTSD and sensory issues are and he trusts Simon to watch his six

- Drinks but never to the point of being drunk

- Has the shittiest temperature regulation ever, gets so overheated but can’t figure out why and would freeze to death if it wasn’t for Soap making him put on layers because he’s basically immune to the cold

- Other than keeping his space clean which is mostly because it’s been beaten into him by his dad and then the army to the point where having a messy space will send him into a panic attack he’s a disaster. He never remembers to bring his dishes over to the tiny kitchen in the 141s rec room and routinely stares at things for days unable to complete simple tasks until he gets so pissed he ends up crying

- Price used to get annoyed by it and they’ve all three harassed him about it but once they realize that he’s genuinely struggling all three of them step in to make things easier for him, helping clean up his stuff in common spaces and wash dishes

- Soap definitely helps him with his laundry but only at 3am when he suddenly has the urge to do his own because ADHD

- His interoception is appalling, he’ll be furious and yell at recruits or just look at people like he wants to kill them on missions until Johnny leans over to subtly remind him that he hasn’t gone to the bathroom or eaten anything in eight hours

- Is fluent in BSL and uses it to communicate with Price when he’s in a verbal shutdown

- Soap and Gaz ask Price to teach them secretly and when they start signing to Ghost one day he’s absolutely shocked

- Generally he gets by with everyone else by grunting and scowling, people are too scared of him to call him out

- Most of his masking relies on peoples fear of him even though it often makes him feel even less human and it’s a vicious downward spiral

- Soap not being afraid of him was a really big deal because of this but also lead to him being really freaked out and unsure how to handle his prying

- Soap just finds him impossibly endearing and loves all the hidden little movements and noises he makes when they’re alone

- Lets Simon use his hands to fidget under the table during meetings

- Even though Soap isn’t the best at social cues himself he takes up explaining things to Ghost subtly whenever he can

- When Simon comes to his room to ask him about something someone said for the first time he’s ecstatic and considers it a great victory

- While a lot of Simons stims are more subtle or at least misinterpreted Soap will absolutely get hyped up when he’s stimming and start jumping or rocking or flapping his hands eagerly

- Soap sends him adhd x autism memes all the time and encourages Ghost to send back anything that interests him even if he thinks Soap won’t like it

- Is shocked to realize how strong Ghosts special interests are as his phone turns into a constant flood of articles and artwork about things Ghost loves

- Included but not limited to guns, puzzles, animal anatomy and bones, flowers (specifically the meanings of flowers) and many others

- Taking things apart and putting them back together, usually his rifle but will generally do it with everything from pens to knives

- Hoards weird things like old ink cartridges and bullet casings

- Has an unbelievable memory for details of old missions, can remember building layouts from over five years ago

- Soap’s room is so chaotic they barely spend time there because of how much it stresses Ghost out

- Generally they just balance each other out well with Simon being aggressively introverted and Soap being just as extroverted

- He pushes Simon a bit outside of his comfort zone and helps him socialize while Ghost reigns him in

- No one else really gets how they operate in the field except each other

- Soap was professionally diagnosed in school while Ghost was professionally diagnosed after Roba under a fake name with Price’s help so it’s not officially on his military record

- Ghost is actually very okay with how his brain works because it’s made him who he is and allowed him to surpass the regular limitations of a soldier

- He struggles more in his personal life but being around Soap heals a deep part of him that he’s buried since early childhood

- They understand each other like no one else ever has

Nico Di Angelo headcanons?? (I hc he has cfs, that’s basically canon though)

He DEFINITELY has ehlers-danlos syndrome. Always cold? Poor circulation. Frequent fainting? Poor circulation and also poor nutrient/water absorption and etc. Weirdly pale? Semi-translucent skin + did i mention the poor circulation. Weird vitals? Can. Can you guess. (Poor circulation). Chronic fatigue? All his joints are subluxating constantly. He tends to stand/pose weird cause his joints all bend backwards/hyperextend and it freaks people out but he finds it kinda funny. Plus EDS has comorbidity with adhd and autism babeyyy it all works. somebody get this boy a pair of crutches.

Also Nico bruising like a peach is funny. He wakes up covered in bruises and just presumes ghosts are beating him up while he sleeps but no, he just has paper skin and glass bones joints.

The skinny jeans are strategical they're compressive and the only thing keeping his legs from dislocating constantly. That and the bone powers. The bone powers help a lot with the dislocating problems.

NICHE ROGUE DEMIGODS WORLDBUILDING THING: Okay so short version is something something i like to think rogue demigods go by nicknames often instead of their real names cause of the whole "names have power" thing. Some rogues pick their rogue name, others just kind of end up with one over time from people calling them something, whatever. Nico's main one is "Hound"/"Hound of Hades" cause he keeps wandering around with a pack of hellhounds and intimidating the daylights out of everyone. Also the rogues who are less scared of him joke about him being CHB/Camp Jupiter's dog, since he's one of the few rogues with direct loyalties to the camps. Nico thinks the name "Hound" is badass though so he rolls with it.

The jacket is both a sensory object (autism babeyyy) and because he is constantly mildly cold. He likes having layers.

In terms of sensory/clothing stuff, he prefers clothes that are too big or generally baggy on him. Because of this he is a notorious clothing thief when it comes to his friends. No jacket is safe from his clutches. His own clothes are big enough that the Argo II crew can steal from him right back though and it'll actually fit so it evens out.

He got all his emo inspiration from Thalia. She gave him her ipod in TTC for like 20 minutes to get him to shut up and that was a canon event that changed the trajectory of his life forever.

He regularly does little chores and errands for different deities and is generally friendly with a ton of them and will hang out with them and help with stuff. He may or may not have briefly been an Eye of Anubis, and may or may not have partially influenced how Anubis ended up goth (by transitive property, this means Thalia has made at least one god goth. There Will Be More). Other gods he often hangs out with (besides his dad) include Thanatos, Charon, Persephone, Demeter, and more.

He also has kept in touch with Eurytion and Triple G ranch to help out there sometimes and he dogsits Orthrus occasionally. Mrs. O'Leary and Orthrus are friends.

The idea of Hades/Pluto kids being allergic to mint because of Minthe is very funny to me.

Wild Kratts Headcanons

genuinely have no clue if this fandom is dead or not but I’ve fallen down a rabbit hole and it isn’t stopping. So anyway here we go! All of my hc’s are strictly platonic, Krattcest shippers back away rn 🤺. This is the 2D characters and not referring to the actual people! I know the characters are basically them but this is specifically for the cartoon. they’re all headcanons I either liked or had myself.

-Being as close as they are, Martin and Chris are very physically affectionate with one another (and with the Tortuga crew at times, but mostly the bros). They’re always giving each other hugs or leaning on the others shoulder, or Chris just straight up climbs onto Martin’s back/shoulders.

-With their friends, the boys are always giving them hugs, small shoulder touches, things like that. It’s their natural way of interacting with the people they care about.

-The Kratts have been found sleeping in trees various times (mainly Chris). At this point nobody questions it though they do get worried about him falling out and getting hurt.

-The Kratt Bros are also sometimes found sleeping in the same hammock, whether it’s in the Tortuga or hung up on a tree branch. They usually do this when the other has a nightmare or after partially tough missions (I.E:Flight of The Pollinators, Platypus Cafe, plus other episodes but these are the ones I heard about most and I haven’t gotten to watching too much of the show again yet). Touch is their love language and sometimes they need this to remind themselves the other is okay.

-Chris climbs basically everything. He loves climbing and if you took him to a rock wall climbing gym he’d have a field day. You can find him in the oddest places on the Tortuga.

-Aviva isn’t the most touchy person but will give hugs out of gratitude/happiness.

-The brothers share a single braincell. That is all.

-Jimmy has a very close relationship to his grandmother and was raised by her; which is why he knows all of her recipes.

-Aviva is like a mom friend. Not in the sense she’s motherly but in the sense she has to babysit two hyperactive brothers who are constantly running around/getting in trouble and breaking things.

-Martin can carry Chris no problem (on his back, shoulders or bridal style), but Chris cannot carry Martin on his back/shoulders for long. Though he can hold him bridal style (as we have seen.)

-The bros are huge nerds. If you ask them about animals they will talk for HOURS about them.

-Koki is downright fabulous and can rock anything. Don’t @ me.

-Martin has ADHD and Chris has autism. Martin fidgets, gets distracted easily, and can act impulsively (though reels Chris in when Chris is the one being impulsive). He tends to run off during creature adventures. He has combined presentation ADHD and Martin also has a tendency to forget to charge his creature pod.

-As for Chris, he has autism. He doesn’t recognize social cues and corrects people when he thinks they’re wrong about something, and doesn’t realize when they’re annoyed with him for it. He also can be pretty blunt. And he has to keep things organized, such as how he organized all of his creature disks and hates them being moved out of place.

-Chris, out of everyone, cusses the most. He doesn’t around the Wild Kratt Kids but he will when with the crew/his brother. He has definitely called Zach a motherf*cker and Aviva and Martin found it hilarious.

-The Tortuga Gang have frequent movie nights, but they will never watch a movie where an animal dies with the brothers. They WILL cry.

-After the Tazzy Incident, Chris still has some Tazzy traits. Mostly just sharper canines but also more sensitive senses. He can’t hear, smell and see are well as he could when in tazzy form but it’s definitely increased from normal. His eyes also do that thing cat eyes do when they’re in the dark and the light hits them. Has 100% given Martin heart attacks and absolutely has used it to mess with Zach.

Skeleton has received a call from their brother asking them to pick up their child from school because they're busy . Its getting a bit dark outside however. Who's fast enough to pick up their niece/nephew before it gets dark? The main 10 pls

Undertale Sans - Not only he's here on time but he's kidnapping them to go have ice cream and spend some time at the local fair. Papyrus is not getting his kid back before a few hours. He loves spending time with his niece/nephew.

Undertale Papyrus - He's there an hour early because he had to change his planning and he panicked and thought he would be late but actually he's there before everyone else. ADHD life. He's glad he gets to spend some time with the children though! But not before homework. He's a serious uncle.

Underswap Sans - So, Honey asked him that in the middle of a bank robbery, and he kinda... forgot after lol. It's only when one of his colleagues asks him what he thought his kid would be later that he gasps in horror and runs out of the police station. Honey's kid is sleeping on the sidewalk, their angry teacher waiting closely behind them. Blue apologizes and quickly picks them up. He planned to tell nothing to his brother but, uh, his child is too honest for their own good. Honey is not too happy about that.

Underswap Papyrus - He picks up his own children before crossing the town to go pick up his niece/nephew. He called the school beforehand to warn them he would be a little late, so it's no big deal. Honey does that quite often since his brother is often working extra hours as a police officer.

Underfell Sans - He's not in a hurry. He just wanted to watch TV, and Edge calling him to fetch the child was not in his plans. He's mumbling to himself on the way to pick up the child, upset, but calms down once the kid joins him. He even bought them a toy on the way home to piss off his dad who always says he's giving too many gifts to them and that there's no room in their bedroom for more toys.

Underfell Papyrus - He's right on time and stares angrily at anyone getting too close to his niece/nephew. He's equally as protective with them than he is with his own children. Red trusted him with their safety and he's not letting anyone get too close. He brings them home and even helps them do their homework. Then he trains them for battle and that ends with the child crying right when Red comes to pick them...

Horrortale Sans - Picking his niece/nephew is no problem as he remembers quite well what path leads to the school. But the way to return home on another hand... Oak got distracted by some shop selling cupcakes so he took Willow's kid to have some, and then he completely forgot what he was supposed to do and took them to the park, then into the woods, then back to school where he realized it was closed, then back to the bakery... After two hours, Willow comes to pick him up lol.

Horrortale Papyrus - Willow is usually the one picking up the children of the neighborhood from school and then he drops them to their house on the way back to the farm. It's quite the usual for him. He's there right on time and spends the journey counting the children to make sure all of them are here.

Swapfell Sans - He's going but he stays in his car and waits for his niece/nephew to find him. He can't stand the school Karens, it gives him a headache. It doesn't help they don't like him and always scream insults at him. It usually ends with Nox faking rolling over one of them and then flipping his bird at them. And Rus still wonders why his child knows so many insults sometimes.

Swapfell Papyrus - He's late, but that's because he prepared some things to prank Nox and then he drags his niece/nephew in his diabolic masterplan. It's to remind Nox why he's asking for his help only once a year or less. It always ends badly.

Fellswap Gold Sans - He does it almost every day anyway. He loves spending time with his brother's child because it reminds him of when Coffee was a baby. He's terrible as a father, but he's a very good uncle, ironically. He's also very protective and would never let them alone before dark or he would live this as a life failure he thinks.

Fellswap Gold Papyrus - He's there on time, but at what cost. There are people everywhere and he is slowly panicking because of the crowd, which is stupid since none of the people around is paying attention to him. When his niece/nephew finally comes out, he grabs them to hug them to death because he needs to calm down. He often comes home late because of this.

Hypnos children Headcanon

They are always tired (logic)

They either suffer from insomnia or just sleep for three days straight and still feel tired

They sometimes visit the dreams of the demigods that haven’t came to the camp yet

It cost them loads of energy

They can chit chat with their friends in their dreams when they’re away

They rarely participate in the capture the flags

When they do, hope you don’t cross one. They would make you drop sleep.

The most advanced one, and really experienced ones can stay for a few minutes in a gods dream. It’s very fast and hard

They have great relationships with the kids of Nyx and Thanatos.

Other campers come to them when they have problems sleeping

If you are friend with a Hypnos kid, and you woke up from a nightmare, they will gladly let you come into their sacred place. Their bed. To sleep with them.

At first they seem lazy. And they are, mostly

When he can, Hypnos come by and greets his kiddos in their sleep.

He doesn’t really care if Zeus prohibit it. It’s in their dreams, how can he check that ?

Their ADHD already make them insomniac, for some, so it’s not uncommon to them to just not sleep for a few days.

They will eventually fall asleep, in the most strange places.

You can encounter a sleeping Hypnos kid almost everywhere, as if they can sleep on command. On the training area, on their meal, in a tree,…

Do not wake them, or you’ll have nightmares for quite some time !

Their sleep is sacred

Almost every kid has some sort of mark around their ears. A mole, a birthmark, .. anything !

Cause, you know, Hypnos is said to have a pair of wings near his ears.

Those kids are one of the most calm and understanding cabins. They will never judge you based on your fears, sexuality, gender or anything like that
