The Twisted Wonderland OC (Yuu)niverse Writing Challenge
In the past, I've written plenty of AU stories and a few have featured cameo OCs. These OC were temporary characters but I'd like to introduce more standard characters to do cameos. So to my followers, I'd like to give you a chance to submit your own characters based on a list of obscure or lesser-known stories or characters that we haven't considered.
The Rules:
The list is first come first serve but chose wisely. Don't rush because you might not be happy with the results.
You can call dibs on 1 prompt on the list but you have to finish within a timely manner (24 hours) before the prompt is available again to everyone. I will update this post everytime a prompt is taken or open.
After a prompt is completed the character's name will appear as a new tag in any future works they appear in.
Be as creative as possible, no self-inserts. That would be against the spirit of being as creative as possible. I want you to think outside the box (so I have more to write about them)
Don't be mean. If a prompt is taken and someone does it anyway I discuss giving them their own prompt or letting them make their own if they like. We must be welcoming. This is for fun.
If you have questions don't be afraid to ask.
Your template must be completed in full with character info like appearance description added. You don't have to do the art but it would be appreciated.
Submit by reblogging your finished templet and profile so that it's visible.
Template: (credit goes to the original creator @yxmechii)

SECRET SWEETH TOOTH: Sweets turned out to be one of Sisi’s favorite over-indulgences, and she was known to splurge on confections and pastries. She frequented Demel, the official patisserie of the Imperial Court, which was conveniently located across the street from the Hofburg. She would slip in and order thick hot chocolate, homemade truffles, and sumptuous slices of chocolate cake. She was especially fond of candied sugar violets, and always went home with a box. Her passion for violets was so great that she even indulged in her favorite treat, violet ice cream, when she wasn’t starving herself. THE FAIRY QUEEN: Sisi got the idea for her famous sparkling stars after attending a production of A Midsummer Night's Dream at Vienna's Burgtheater. The actress portraying Titania wore a sprinkling of glittering stars in her hair; inspired, Sisi then requested her own fairy stars from the imperial jeweler. She saw herself as the fairy queen Titania, and her bedroom (which she called "Titania's enchanted castle")  was painted at great expense with scenes from A Midsummer Night's Dream by a young Gustav Klimt. THE LOOK: Her beauty routine was legendary. She used facial waters of rose, chamomile, lavender, and violet to remove impurities, and she would slather her cheeks with pure honey, rose petals and crushed strawberries. After her Rapunzel-esque hair was done to her satisfaction, it would be sprayed with Creed’s Fantasia de Fleurs, a heady floral fragrance created especially for the Empress, with a regal bouquet of the best Bulgarian roses.

#finn's ocs#oc references#finn's art#YAY i finally get to post my funny little artist guys#i feel like its fairly obvious what each persons gimmick is but just for the sake of brevity (for anyone who doesnt wanna read the readmore)#in order#jupiter doesnt have a Specific art bc hes the guildmaster and you can think of him as more of a teacher of sorts#erin is a poet/writer. pictor is obvs a painter. oberon is a thespian. syrma is a seamstress#parumleo is a comedian. leda is a ballerina. and styx is a musician (or straight up rockstar)#since these characters are all like.. trinary characters they dont go all Too much deeper than their gimmicks#but thats why theyre fun to design bc its like. what if [thing] was a guy LOL#also i wanted to try some new stuff out w their designs (like syrmas dimples for example) so i hope they look okay? i hope so...#also leda and how shes literally the least clothed character ive ever made. shes going to catch a cold for sure yeah#parumleo i worry about bc i had a fairly similar color pallet for asterope (but no red) so i hope he still stands out. the lolcat....#oh also if erin and oberon's powers sound similar that's on purpose too. shes like his protege#i feel like out of all of them though pictor is like the prime example of guy who should be in an artist guild LOL#like the most archetypal. most ppl think of painters when they think of artists#but i wanted different types in there too.#painters writers actors even funnymen and rockstars. they all belong. theyre all weird about creating#anyway im glad i can finally post them now ^_^

Quick question, what’s the deal with the Eldest and Kupala? Did they strike a deal with the devil-style bargain, or was it something else?
More or less, yeah! The story goes that the Eldest never really felt at home in Enoch, and wandered until they reached the Carpathians, where they felt a connection to the soil and land there. It's ambiguous whether they were reacting to the land itself, or to Kupala, bound beneath it.
Either way, they sensed Kupala's presence and just... made contact. Kupala wanted to be freed from the prison the Garou had basically put it in, and the Eldest wanted knowledge, and the Eldest offered to try to free Kupala to get that knowledge. They didn't quite succeed, not able to sever the final connection between Kupala and the Carpathians, but they did help, and Kupala gave them knowledge in return. This is generally accepted to be in the form of Koldunic sorcery, which technically would make it a form of infernalism, although only in the sense that it was passed down from a demon and not in the sense of dealing with them directly (Koldunic sorcery requires exchanges with spirits, which aren't actually demons).
This didn't work out great, since during the Baali War, the Salubri methuselah Samiel did, in fact, sense infernal taint on the Eldest, and attacked them. This led to both their deaths, except you can't really kill the Eldest. This is where the Dracon getting surprise!pregnant with his sire comes in! After the Dracon gave birth, he took the baby Eldest to Yorak at the Cathedral of Flesh, and at some point was transferred to Sarmizegetusa under the care of Damek Ruthven, Kupala whispering to the Eldest all that time.
Either way, Kupala has shaped the Tzimisce clan almost as much as the Eldest has. The clan curse of being tied to soil or Domain relates back to the Eldest being tied to Kupala's lands by Caine's curse, Kupala is referenced in several Koldunic rituals and powers, Kupala's Sacred Fire-Flower was one of the most important parts of creating the Vaulderie ritual, et cetera. (Kupala might have also influenced the Cathedral to eat Yorak.) And they're not actually the only clan to be heavily influenced by Kupala - as the 'Root of All', it directly influenced House Tremere to set up the chantry of Ceoris in the 980s, and to begin the process of using Tzimisce vitae to become Cainites in the following decade. Perhaps it was curious to see what it could make out of Tzimisce blood itself, and used the Tremere mages as a way to do that?
Kupala, incidentally, is referenced in the name Kupala Night, an actual Slavic pagan celebration for Midsummer, referencing the birth of the sun, Kupalo, and the shortest night. During the medieval period, 'Kupala Night' gave rise to a deity of the same name, although the celebration is believed to have existed much earlier than the deity it references. 'Kupala's Night' as celebrated by Tzimisce in the World of Darkness presumably refers to the demon itself, not a feminine deity of sun and water. The Fire-Flower used for the Vaulderie is presumed to be a reference to the actual tradition of trying to find a fern flower, which is said only to flower during the midsummer.
(Kupala Night also inspired Mussorgsky's Night on Bald Mountain, the Fantasia sequence of which scared me so much as a child I didn't realise it was followed by Ava Maria until I was in my twenties :D)
For more lore fun, a Romanian Youtuber called The Old Country has a deep dive series into Tzimisce lore and specifically Kupala! Everything is in the playlist here, highly recommended.

Wait wait, haha
According to the wiki page, Fischl’s alternative outfit’s English localization Ein Immernachtstraum is likely based off of the German title for A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Ein Sommernachtstraum)
—Just like how version 2.8 Summer Fantasia’s title in Chinese 仲夏!幻夜?奇想曲!is partially based off of the Chinese title for the same play, 仲夏夜之梦, along with the Japanese mystery novel 幻夜 (Genya) by Higashino Keigo. (This is the same patch in which detective Heizou was released.) Plus, 奇想曲 refers to a capriccio, which is either a lively piece of music, or a work of mixing together real and imaginary elements, fitting for Xinyan and Fischl…
I’ve talked about it before but one could translate the version title to A Midsummer Night’s Fantastic Capriccio
Or I guess for a slightly looser translation, Midsummer Fantasia or Midsummer Capriccio works too. Hard to get the Genya allusion in without mixing Japanese in there…

Sharon’s study notes #1 ー History exam
Hmー Baroque music, huh...? This really is not my strong suit but since Shuu-san refused to help out, I’ll have to wing it somehow. Otherwise Ms. Gormley (@hanagormley) will most definitely give me supplementary classes during summer.
Tumblr media
[Grabs her notebook.]
For now, I’ll just write down a few important facts on each of the pieces featured on the exam...I doubt I can remember all the information in the textbook, so I just have to hope I make a good selection.
ーー Oh! I should share these notes with Yuriko-chan (@yuriko-tsukino-rp) and Leissa-chan (@the-loony-and-the-fox) as well!
Toccata and Fugue in D minor
- Composed by Johann Sebastian Bach
- Uncertainty about the exact date of composition, but it was most likely during the first half of the 18th century.
- First published during the Bach Revial era in 1833
- Featured in Walt Disney’s Fantasia, which boosted its popularity.
- It is now said to be the best known organ piece of the 18th century
Messiah
- Composed by George Frideric Handel in 1741.
- First performed in 1742 in Dublin.
- The piece got its inspiration from the King James Bible and is said to be a reflection on Jesus as the Messiah called Christ.
- Its structure resembles that of an opera, but it actually belongs to the genre of the English oratorio.
The Four Seasons
- Composed by Vivaldi between 1718 and 1720.
- Published in Amsterdam in 1725.
- It is Vivaldi’s best known work and was considered revolutionary at the time of its publication.
- The first part (Spring) bears resemblances to Vivaldi’s other work: Il Giustino.
- Vivaldi published the concerti with sonnets, which was unusual for the period. These sonnets were meant to emphasize the spirit of each season.
- The piece is often considered to be an early form of what would later be known as ‘program music’.
Harpsichord Concerto in D minor
- Composed by Johann Sebastian Bach around 1738.
- The proto version of the manuscript dates back to 1734 and was made by his son Emanuel.
- It consists of three movements: Allegro, Adagio and Allegro.
- The original melody instrument was initially believed to be the violin, but in the 21st century, scholars began to move away from said theory and now classified it as an organ piece.
The Fairy Queen
- Composed by Henri Purcell and first performed in 1692 in London.
- The libretto is an adaptop of Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream.
- The score was initially lost, but rediscovered in the early 20th century.
- It is said to have been composed for the 15th wedding anniversary of William III and Mary II.
- An updated version of the piece was performed at the Glyndebourne Festival Opera in 2009, celebrating Purcell’s 350th birth anniversary.
Cat Fugue
- Composed by Domenice Scarlatti and first published in 1739 in London.
- It is called the Cat Fugue because according to a legend, Scarlatti was inspired by his cat Pulcinella walking on the harpsichord keyboard.
- The nickname was only given to it in the 19th century and never used by the composer himself.
- Handel borrowed inspiration from the piece when writing his Concerti grossi.
Canon in D
- Composed by Johann Pachelbel between 1680 and 1706 (exact date unknown).
- The oldest surviving manuscript dates from the 19th century.
- It remained an obscurity for centuries but gained popularity again mid-20th century thanks to the recording of Paillard.
- It has been an inspiration for many pop songs from the 1970s onwards.
- It is commonly used at funeral or wedding ceremonies.
Gloria
- Composed by Vivaldi, possibly composed in 1715.
- Based on the hym Gloria in excelsis Deo from the Ordinary of the Mass, dating back from the 4th century.
- He wrote at least three settings for the piece, the most popular setting is the RV 589.
- Only two of the three settings survived.
- Its style resembles that of the late Italian Baroque.
L’Orfeo
- Composed by Claudio Monteverdi and Alessandro Striggio in 1607.
- Based on the greek legend of Orpheus, focusing on his descent to Hades as he attempts to bring back his dead bride Eurydice.
- Originally written for a court performance.
- It is the first opera which is still regularly performed.
- It was also the piece which moved the opera out of its experimental era.
Stabat Mater
- Composed by Giovanni Battista Pergolesi in 1736.
- It was composed for a Neapolitan confraternity.
- Pergolesi was suffering from tuberculosis when he composed the piece and finished it mere days before his death.
- It became his most celebrated sacred work, complimented by many important historians, including Rousseau.
- Just like the original Christian hymn from the 13th century, it focuses on the figure of the Holy Mary who laments as Jesus is being crucified.

Which non-combat Genshin overworld soundtrack is your favourite? How about regional battle theme, and boss theme, respectively?
thank you for the ask! :D
for non-combat, I would have to say This Little Light of Mine and Another Hopeful Tomorrow as top faves. I think they play in the same places? I just remember hearing them at Sal Terrae for the first time and just stopping dead in game to listen until the soundtrack ended it was so touching—idk they both have such a lovely tune that fit their locations, like a cheery reverberation of water and memories.
Oh I also like the 3.8 choo-choo cart soundtracks (Let's Get Started and Euphoric Ride) they're literally so cute..... klee 🥺 and the other favorites from annual summer klee events include Vast and Blue (an incredibly made xingqiu birthday fanvid uses it as background music and i fell in love) and honestly every single 1.6 GAA soundtrack. idk they really hit the vibe of cozy and nostalgic. nice summertime fun
the music from uyuu restaurant (Savory Treat) is also very fun and funky I enjoy it :] so is Melody of Hidden Seeds and With Witty Wit (cyno joke soundtrack, though not strictly an overworld track lol) I also already said this before but Lumidouce Harbor's daytime OST is SO GOOD the sailor vibes are impeccable.
Regional battle theme.... I need to listen to those again haha I don't really have a favorite (sometimes combat time is too short and the full track isn't allowed to play). I will say Fischl's domain during 2.8 GAA, Midsummer Fantasia or whatever, literally every single soundtrack there was SO GOOD, especially the combat ones. baroque harpsichord RAAAHHH
besides that. xinyan's domain's theme was also really good. Her remix w the guzheng (???) accents and the wind instruments combined with the rock on top of the normal combat soundtrack is SO GOOD and it really describes her character too :') pushing forward into modernity in an ancient land of history :''). Apparently the soundtrack is called Burst Into Flames. Some of the inazuma domain themes are also really good (will list them maybe tomorrow) I think I just like the percussive(?) elements. something w a strong beat yknow
boss themes... azhdaha rage beneath the mountain >>>>>>>> scaramouche's boss theme 2nd phase (polumnia omnia, apparently) also hits REALLY hard <- just relistened and forgot how good the vocals and technobeat parts were HOLY SHIT and the way inazuman motifs get mixed in???? GOD
if we count world bosses apparently jolts in the forest is the sumeru world boss OST and it's a pretty sick soundtrack (I thought it was either a general combat theme or tighnari's theme for some reason lol)

Sinopse
