chris’ cum did, in fact, drip down your legs the entire night. it only took a bathroom trip and a shit ton of toilet paper to clean it up.

the music bumped inside of the house where the party was taking place. you found a spot outside on a quiet balcony, string lights hanging above it causing a dim glow. you leaned against the fence and admired the streets below you.

“mind if i join?” a voice interrupts your thoughts. you turn to the source, seeing chris standing there as handsome as ever with his hands inside the pockets of his dress pants.

you smile. “not at all.”

he walks over in front of you, placing his arms on either side of you on the railing. it’s as if you’re trapped, but you would do anything to have his arms around you again like they were hours ago.

no words are spoken for a while, only your guys’ eyes staring deeply into one another’s. “what’re you doing up here all alone? you doing okay?”

“yes, i’m fine. i can get a little overwhelmed with crowds and loudness. no big deal.”

his eyes scan to the straps of your dress. he takes two fingers and plays with it. “i like you, you know.”

you bite your lip as you watch his movements. “i can make you happy.” he continues.

“yeah?”

“yeah.”

“show me.”

he wraps his arms around your waist and pulls you into his embrace, kissing you passionately. this kiss felt way different than the one you guys shared in bed.

you snake your arms around his neck and try to push him closer. he takes his lips and leaves peppering kisses on your neck to your collarbone.

he moves the fabric of your dress ever so slightly just above your right breast. he kisses it and starts to suck a mark where nobody could see.

you moan softly. “chris.”

he kisses up your collarbone and neck again, resuming on your lips.

you are the first to pull away when you need to breathe, your lips red and swollen.

“i like you too.” he smiles at your words. “but what about nate?”

“what about me?”

chris moves as fast as light away from you and clears his throat. nate gives a skeptical look as he stands in the doorway. “why are you guys out here?”

“just chatting,” you reply, and chris agrees with a nod. he’s scared to talk because knowing him he’ll blurt out something he knows he shouldn’t.

“well we’re leaving.” nate starts. “meet us at the minivan.”

he leaves you two and it’s like a weight lifted from the simultaneous sighs of relief the two of you let out. chris smirks, grabbing your ass as he walks by to the exit.

“you fucked my best friend?” nate says with disbelief, his facial expression visibly showing surprise.

it was a few days later, and you finally had the guts to tell your brother the truth. you and chris are in the official talking phase of a relationship. you cringe and fidget with your fingers. “yes?” you answer but in a questionable way.

nate scoffs and shakes his head in disbelief. “but it’s not just that, nate. we’re talking now. he likes me, and i like him.”

“it’s only because i care about you, y/n.” he takes a deep breath. “i can’t control your choices. just don’t be stupid, alright?”

you smile sheepishly and nod. “i promise, big brother.” you squeal and throw yourself around him in a hug that silently screams ‘you’re the best!’

as you walk off, nate pulls out his phone and presses chris’ contact. he has a hand on his hip and taps his foot impatiently while the phone is ringing.

“hello?” chris says when he picks up.

“hurt her and i’ll kill you, you understand me?”

chris smirks. “ay ay captain.”

It was sometime in the middle of the night when Wanda randomly awoke from her slumber with an intense craving for something to eat. Carefully removing herself from your hold she makes her way down the stairs and to the kitchen, in search of something to satisfy her needs.

But when Wanda comes up completely empty she pouts all the way up to your shared room.

“Hey babe,” the redhead whispers, as she crawls into bed to lay beside you, poking you on the shoulder softly in attempts to wake you up, “baby,” she says a little louder, her hand now shaking you slowly but her attempts are futile as you continue sleeping, “Y/N!” She exclaims suddenly and you wake up with a start.

“Huh? Okay! What?” You sputter, your eyes opening up wide as you move to sit up, looking at Wanda with pure confusion, “hey, hey amor, what's wrong? Are you okay? Is there a robber in here? Is the house on fire? Oh my god, no, don't tell me, are the babies coming?” You exclaim nervously, eyes searching around frantically and Wanda can't help but let out a laugh.

“No, no darling, I'm fine, everything is fine. There is no robber or fire and we still have another month to go,” Wanda giggles, “But I just- well I'm craving something,” your wife says lowly, bottom lip caught between her teeth in embarrassment, a look you mistake for something else entirely.

“Wanda do you- babe, you want sex?” You whisper scandalized, your dazed state having you shocked, wondering why on earth would your wife wake you up in the middle of the night because she’s horny.

“Oh my god, baby, no. I’m hungry!” Wanda exclaims, face red at your insinuations.

“Oh… you're hungry?” You ask, still slightly disoriented and Wanda nods, “yeah okay, what time is it?” You say, rubbing the sleep out of your eyes.

“2:30 in the morning,” the redhead responds cautiously.

“Oh wow, hungry so early I see,” you laugh lightly and your wife blushes even more, pushing at your shoulder lightly because of your teasing, “I'm messing with you Wands,” you smile, “would you like to go downstairs so that I can whip something up for you?”

Wanda shakes her head and resumes her previous pouting, “I already went downstairs detka and there was nothing that I want,” she says sadly, tears building in her eyes.

“Okay, okay, hey Max, don't worry we'll figure something out. Tell me, what are you craving?” You ask softly, taking your wife's hand in yours, rubbing circles on it to try to calm her down.

“Ooh, I want a greasy bacon burger combo from that place in downtown,” Wanda says slowly, basically drooling at the thought of her favorite food, “oh! I also want a strawberry milkshake to drink and a vanilla one to, you know, to dip the fries in,” she says, smiling sheepishly.

“Alright amor, I think I can definitely do that,” you say, standing up from your bed to change into some jeans and a t-shirt, “and is that all? Do you want anything else while I'm gone? Any other craving you need satisfied?” You ask, a yawn escaping your mouth.

Wanda smiles at you lovingly, heart swelling at the lack of hesitation from your part to satisfy her needs, “no detka, I'm good with just the food, thank you,” she says puckering her lips up in appreciation.

You nod your head as you round the bed to place a soft kiss on your wife's awaiting lips and then you bend down some more to place a chaste kiss on her swollen belly, “no worries my love, you know I do this cause I really love you and our twins,” you say with the softest smile before walking out of your room and making your way to Wanda's favorite burger joint.

Everyone was in the lobby of the hotel except Al. Charlie was in the middle of ramble about another exercise trying her best to explain with the normal commentary from the others. You just sat on the couch next to Husk and Angel, spacing out. Husk and Angel were doing their usual banter. Alastor then spawns from a shadow on the floor casually and walks over and sits down on an armchair. Charlie then finishes her explanation with a smile and a big intake of breath.

“We are all gonna be going out and doing daily chores in pairs!” Charlie says happily, clapping her hands as Angel raises his hand. “Uh yes Angel?” Charlie asks, confusion written on her face.

“How is this supposed to help us get redeemed?” Angel asked with a raised eyebrow and his normal tone. Looking with a teasing yet actually confused grin.

“Well this is more of a bonding exercise! We need to learn to treat each other with kindness!” She said with a smile and point of her fingers. “Okay now for pairs, Alastor and (name) can go together, Husk and Angel, Niffty and Sir pentious and me and Vaggie!” She said, grabbing Vaggies hand. She then gave chores for each person to do, yours and alstors being getting groceries since she said they were running low. Better to make sure nobody starves you guess.

Alastor and you were ushered out of the hotel. You just stood there for a minute before Al started walking down the sidewalk. 

“Well come along dear!” Alastor's staticky voice said as you quickly hurried to follow along. You were both now just walking down the street in awkward silence. He soon began humming a random tune as sinners nearby were doing normal sinner things like stabbing each other and lighting fires. You see the grocery store sign light up in the distance. After a few more blocks of what seemed like endless sidewalks you reached the doors and entered with Alastor. You then go searching through aisles and aisles for everything on Charlie's quite long list. But soon a little plush had caught your eye and you had stopped to look at it. You picked it up with a smile as you looked down on its cute face. You then gently set it back down and when you looked back up Alastor was nowhere to be seen.

You whipped your head around immediately feeling super anxious at being alone. You couldn't find him anywhere nearby so you stood for a moment trying to calm your breathing. You then noticed a group of what looked like not a good group of demons approaching you, you tried to remain calm as they surrounded you. One of them went to swing at you as you flinched and closed your eyes tightly… nothing. You open your eyes to find Alastor in front of you glaring a hole into the demons still with his usual smile on his face.

“I’m about to end your fucking life.” He says with a glare well sadistically ripping them all apart. (for reasons I am not describing that) He then brushed himself off and turned back to you. “Well that was fun! Are you alright dear?” He says with a smile as he leans against his cane. You just nodded, still quite freaked out. You eventually wrap your arms around him pulling him close, he seems quite surprised as his eyes widen at you before returning the hug. He patted your back as a form of comfort before you finally pulled back "Suppose we should get back to the hotel! I'm sure they are all wondering where we are!” He said turning to leave as you followed close behind. Eventually you both make it back to the hotel. Charlie looks at you with confusion.

“Where's the groceries?” She asks with a frown. Well… whoops.

The soft chime of the bell signaled your entrance into the comfy little cafe that held uncountable memories of laughter, shared secrets, and loving glances. The strong aroma of freshly brewed coffee lingered in the air and with that came a flood of emotions. This was the place where you and Nanami Kento, a skilled sorcerer with an unpredictable life, had spent countless moments together.

It had been months since the two of you decided to split up. The constant worry and fear that filled your heart every time he walked into the unknown had become too much to bear. Nanami's dedication to his duty as a sorcerer was firm, and your love for him had been both a major source of strength and pain. The decision to break up had been painful, but you somehow believed it was for the best, hoping that he would find a way to stay safe, just as he had up until now.

As you made yourself comfortable in a familiar corner of the cafe, all the memories flooded back. The way Nanami used to smile softly at you over a cup of coffee, the gentle warmth of his hand holding yours – all of it played like a bittersweet melody in your mind. Lost in thought, you didn't notice the figure approaching until a deep voice spoke.

"Long time no see."

Your heart skipped a beat as you looked up, catching Nanami's gaze. His expression softened as he took in the sight of you. He wore his usual suit, the epitome of professionalism, but the lines on his face were the proof of all his responsibilities and burdens.

The conversation flowed slowly but smoothly, both of you carefully walking on the delicate balance of the past and the present. You spoke about your life, the comforting routine that replaced the chaos and uncertainity that plagued it when you were in love with a sorcerer. Nanami, in turn, shared stories about his usual encounters with curses and spirits, a world that had always been his reality.

Time passed, and it was evening. The cafe's soft glow cast a warm ambiance around you. You realised that the cafe was not just a place; it was a symbol of your connection, a proof of the love you both once shared.

After sipping his coffee, Nanami set down his cup and looked at you intently. "I miss us," he admitted, his voice low.

You met his gaze, feeling a mix of vulnerability and longing. "I miss us too."

A shared understanding was in the air, and with it came the possibility of a second chance. The unspoken apologies and affection you had for each other pushed you both to the edge of reconciliation.

I'm making a Batfam reading order list, not of every appearance of every character, but of important appearances & comic runs, organized by issue release date. I'm trying to color code it so you can see at a glance which character each issue is for, but the problem is sometimes more than one character is important to the story. I tried creating a color to indicate multiple characters and then make a note of which characters it's for, but I don't love that and would like input on how other people would like it to look. Here's an example of what the chart looks like:

Here are the options I see:

Always use the mutli character color when there are multiple important characters (not just a cameo)

Color the box to reflect the most important character, but make a note of the other's appearance in it. (ex- Detective Comics #647 is Steph's intro so it's her color, despite also being an important issue for Tim)

If it's a solo run always make it the color of the guest character, as we'll assume the lead is in it (ex- Issues of Robin that feature Steph will be her color because of course Tim is present), but use the multiple character color for group runs (Detective Comics, Batman, ect)

Also if anyone knows a way to make the box itself multiple colors (like stripes or something) please let me know! That would be my ideal way to handle the situation, but I have yet to find a way that works.

That’s all the warning Dorcas gives before she is barrelling into Marlene full force, the Gryffindor staggering back three paces. Dorcas catches her round the middle before she can go sprawling in the mud.

Regulus turns to see which Gryffindor he can goad into going against him and finds James Potter already waiting on the other side of the line. Okay, thought experiment where we DO fully remove All Steph from the DC timeline and how that changes plots and events (or ‘Steph only ever appears in ‘Tec 647-649, is a one appearance character, retires when she’s told to’).

This is not saying Steph’s a bad character. It’s more an examination of how she is, aside from Batgirl 2009 and Batgirls, very much a supporting character, and under the conceit of “remove a character, what changes in the timeline”, your answer for Steph is “not a great deal”.

Tim might date Ariana a bit longer, but it’s not going to make a huge difference, given they break up during Aftershock and there’s no way this relationship survived No Man’s Land. Maybe they’re on-again a bit more before the end.

World Without Young Justice: it’s Cass, not Steph here, and Cass is still Batgirl. We see the world doesn’t have a Robin (which is realistically what would happen without a 1989 Tim). This plays into later Kon/Cass.

Cass also goes to Zandia.

Steph’s not in Hush.

Now for the big one. War Games.

I think you can go two ways with no Steph in War Games. 1. War Games doesn’t happen (which doesn’t really make sense, the Bat office used Steph as an expendable to kick things off here, rather than this being an outgrowth of Steph as a character). 2. Someone else initiates War Games. Your two best options are either: Orpheus messes up on his gang infiltration and something like the shootout meeting still occurs; Jason reappears JUST slightly earlier and his initial moves for control of the underground initiate the shootout meeting. Probably deliberately to kill off gang heads, rather than accidentally like it was for Steph. His efforts for this may not be revealed during War Games, he’s just a shadowy figure causing problems.

Helena probably also gets to feature in War Games, a plotline about gangs and mafia in Gotham, a topic she’s only JUST SLIGHTLY related to, rather than sitting it out for unclear reasons.

Black Mask May not torture anyone other than Orpheus, but if they still sacrifice a character here to make it ‘real’ I suspect Holly Robinson goes instead. (This then has knock on effects over in Catwoman but nowhere else)

There is no Robin 4 while Tim is ‘retired’. The school shooting at Louis E. Grieves and the gang warfare in the streets are what convince Jack that Tim isn’t safe either way, Tim returns to being Robin on schedule. Alternatively, Tim returns to being Robin after Identity Crisis, under the intense angst of “even being retired didn’t save my Dad (for some reason Tim would still have been out that evening), Dad told me to be a hero”.

War Games still happens – Tim and Cass may or may not move to Bludhaven afterwards. Tim probably still needs that break from Gotham. Babs probably still leaves town if the Clocktower gets blown up, and thus Cass moving also makes sense. Also they wanted a pretty clean slate for Bruce to angst over Jason.

If not, Tim and Cass stay in Gotham, Cass still ends up on her roadtrip, we come to Infinite Crisis the same way anyway.

Nothing bad happens with Leslie. There is no character assassination. She remains in Gotham. YAY!

Babs never shows Charlie Steph’s autopsy photos. Maybe she uses Jason’s. Maybe she just…doesn’t do this.

Cass doesn’t hallucinate Steph. Maybe she has visions of someone else, or none at all, or someone else like Boston Brand turns up.

Fast forward to 2008. No Steph in Gotham Underground (which she does nothing in anyway, it’s just a tease about a return)

We skip the Steph returns plot as no Steph. (This bit doesn’t make a lot of difference, fewer assassins).

Steph working with Ulysses Armstrong to ‘test’ Tim – either Bruce can arrange this nonsense himself, or you know, Ulysses is an annoying villain anyway. Maybe HE just causes problems on purpose. Maybe the back of Tim’s head never gets burnt. That would be nice.

Batgirl Volume 2: Steph does not feature in this.

Battle for the Cowl: Steph essentially sits this out apart from complaining that Tim told her to retire.

Batgirl Volume 3: three big ways this could have gone. 1. Cass gets an ongoing again, after all that character rehab done in Volume 2, instead of being shipped off to exile/Hong Kong. Cass plays Batgirl to Damian’s Robin, which would create interesting dynamics. 2. The slot is used for the Batwoman ongoing that had been in development hell since 2007, Rucka gets 26 issues rather than 10. 3. We get Babsgirl two years earlier. Oracle: The Cure did what the name promised on the tin, follows through on the old Brainiac tumour plot. (Ugh)

Cass PROBABLY still plays Batgirl to Damian’s Robin in option 2, with only sporadic appearances in titles not written by Morrison. Option 3 obviously has some Dick and Babs conflict over the fact she can now walk, Babs probably still runs a Birds of Prey during this time. Cass likely still gets shipped off.

Nu!52 happens. No Steph.

Rebirth. I’m unfamiliar with most of Steph’s appearances from her reappearance onwards, but the thing everyone always says is that she basically shows up as “Tim’s Girlfriend” or “StephnCass”. Cass doesn’t appear as a double feature. Tim’s obviously dating other people. Scanning the wiki entries doesn’t show me much of anything loadbearing that wouldn’t just be written as Cass by herself. Steph apparently talks an OMAC-Tim down at one point? Maybe his favourite, most trusted brother (Dick) could do that instead.

Phil is in the rafters again.

Phil has used his scythe, an arrow, three arrows bundled together, his scythe again, and his hands to try and budge the crack open.

Phil has rammed himself against the wall.

Many times.

Phil has eaten another golden apple.

Phil has 31 feathers scattered on the floor.

Phil is looking at the poppy in his hands.

It's wilting.

(His daughter.)

Phil tucks the flower back into his inventory.

(Carefully.)

There are eight birds currently inside the house. Of those eight, two are in the rafters with him, one is perched on the chest, and the rest he can't see from where he perches.

The one on the chest flits to rest on Chayanne's duckie.

Phil throws an arrow at it.

It flies away.

One of the birds in the rafters flits onto his shoulder.

He doesn't move.

Phil isn't thinking of much at the moment.

His kids are fine. That story about the eggs in the maze didn't mean anything. They're safe, and with any luck have already been found.

He just needs to be patient.

(The flower is wilting.)

Phil has three quarters of his gapples left.

He also has three arrows (four counting the one he just threw), eight halves of arrows, his scythe, two books (he doesn't want to read them), a flower (wilting), and a water bucket.

There are 647 planks of wood, twelve tiles, four plants, seven walls, one floor, one roof (two slanted sides), and eight birds in the house.

The door is made of iron.

The crack in the wall is six centimeters tall and three centimeters wide.

There are no windows.

None of this has helped him get out.

No one has come for him.

Phil is patient.

His life before the island is fuzzy, but he remembers patience. He remembers the woman waiting for him on the other side. He remembers his crows. He remembers Wil.

He hopes they're alright.

Safe.

He's safe.

(For a given value of safe.)

(There is blood on his hands.)

He misses his family.

He hopes they don't miss him.

(He hopes they do.)

Phil is getting tired again.

(Tired of this house. These birds. These walls and floor and ceiling and nothingness inside of him and himself most of all.)

This does have things that don’t follow the timeline/plot line exact and yes this is partially based on that one scene in Victorious. NOW onto the story!

The festival of the year was here. The weather was perfect, the light breeze carrying the sounds of laughter and joy through the air. Everyone was at the U.A. Festival. One of the third year classes had put on a dance for their activity. Everyone was dancing having a good time. At least it seemed that way, over near the side by some tables were the big three. They were all talking, when two girls came up to them. “Hey it’s Tamaki, right? We’re in the same year! I’m (R/N) and this is (R/N/F).” Tamaki was very flustered and taken aback by the attention. “h..hi, nice to meet you two.” With this Mirio decided to pipe in, “I’m Mirio and this is Nejire. We’re Tamaki’s best friends. It’s a pleasure to meet you guys.” “We know you two, we came here to talk to Tamaki” (R/F/N) snootily responded. After that conversation continued mostly (R/N) flirting and (R/F/N) edging them on. Tamaki was getting very uncomfortable. Across the room, you were dancing and having fun with your friends when you caught sight of Tamaki looking like he’s about to be sick. You quickly tell your friends you’ll be back and start making your way over to everyone. As you approach you hear (R/N) say, “so you’re quick, you use tentacles a lot, I wonder what else those tentacles can do”. “Um, excuse me. He has a girlfriend/boyfriend/significant other .” [Nejire] “I don’t see her/him/them” [R/N] Hearing this you storm up behind R/N not even caring that you just knocked about twenty people over on your way. R/N turns to look you up and down after you tap them on the shoulder. “Now you see her/him/them” “Well I don’t see much”[R/N]. At this point the music is off and the room is quiet all attention on you and R/N. “Leave my BOYFRIEND alone.” “And what if I don’t? I mean he can do so much better than some puny first year like yourself. He’d mush rather have an older more experie….” Before R/N could finish their sentence you decked them in the face. “What the hell is wrong with you! You’re about half way back when you feel someone grab your arm and spin you around, before you can process what is happening lips are on yours. You immediately recognize them as Tamaki’s. Kissing him back you, he quickly pulls away, “..um thanks.. for that and um sorry for not telling everyone about us sooner.. I just I really.. um…” “I know you hate all the attention. No worries. And I’m glad everyone knows now.” Everyone around you two were cheering and tamaki confessed for the first time… “ I love you (y/n)” stunned you stare at him for a moment before simply replying “I love you too Tamaki” and pulling him into another quick kiss.
