anonymous asked: Who does your Shepard ship with if it's left to NPCs for platonic interactions?

First off, let me say that I am very much a multishipper - I enjoy exploring nearly all of the available romances available (and some not actually available in gameplay, but that's what fanfic and rp is for).

That being said, I don't assign ships to any of my muses' verses outside of actual shipverses, unless it's specifically plotted with the person I'm interacting for our interactions only. So unless it's a shipverse or otherwise plotted, Izzy is perpetually in a 'single' state.

If I had to assign someone for her to ship with, it'd most likely be with Tali and/or Garrus, or Thane in her Compact AU. But it would really depend on how the rest of the story was playing out to determine exactly who and even when in the timeline it happens (because if the ship plotting with @smokedanced is any indication, without gameplay limitations holding things back, things can and will start well before they do in the canon timelines if the story calls for it).

Jaune would be in a file room looking at a computer that he would try to access but a password screen would appear.

Spider-Knight(J): Ok, i'm here so how do i access it?

Spider-Knight 2099 (N): Enter my password: PENNY, P-E-N-N-Y.

Jaune would enter the password that Nicholas had given him but the computer would give it as an incorrect password.

Spider-Knight(J): Great. You got any other ideas?

Spider-Knight 2099 (N): Hmph let me think...

Nicholas was thinking about another password and Jaune would just sigh and say in a joking tone ''grant me access'' which would work and opening the files on the PC.

Spider-Knight(J): That was weird, Okay let's go over the start-yo procedures.

Spider-Knight 2099 (N): Slow down, Arc, it's no that simple!

Spider-Knight(J): Did you fire up the quark enhancers? Activate the tachyon relays?

Spider-Knight 2099 (N): Yes, Yes. I did all that! Will you...

Jaune continued working on the computer, opening various files while Nicholas spoke and ended up cutting him off.

Spider-Knight(J): Uncouple the heinsenburg compensators?

Spider-Knight 2099 (N): Yes of course I... shock it, No i didn't!

Nicholas would be slightly irritated for having forgotten to do that step that Jaune mentioned. Jaune would listen and be surprised at himself.

Spider-Knight(J): Wait i was right? Wow i...

Jaune opened a file written ''Snow Fall'' and read the file with a sad expression and tone of voice. Nicholas would notice and ask why Jaune had changed his tone of voice.

Spider-Knight(J): Weiss dies tonight at alchemax?!

Spider-Knight 2099 (N): How did you know.. For shock's sake Arc! What part of ''dont poke around in the archives'' was unclear!

Jaune was listening to Nicholas complaining to him while he read the entire file trying to see how Weiss died that night.

Spider-Knight(J): Fine. i'm a nosy Arc! But now that i found out its-

Nicholas would speak with a slight tone of anger cutting through Jaune as he spoke.

Spider-Knight 2099 (N): It's what? My job to save her?I've got enought ot deal with!

Jaune would be irritated by Nicholas comment and would speak with a slightly aggressive tone towards him.

Spider-Knight(J): You can't mean that! You just can't ignore that she's in danger!

Spider-Knight 2099 (N): Hey im trying to focus on what's important.

Spider-Knight(J): What's important is not standing by and allowing someone to suffer or die beacause you do nothing, If you don't get that, then you don't get the first thing about being Spider-Knight.

Spider-Knight 2099 (N): You're the one who doesn't get it, Parker. The future depends on...

When Nicholas would finish the sentence Jaune would punch both fists on the keyboard angrily and speak in an angry tone.

Spider-Knight(J): My future is meaningless without her!

Nicholas would think and sigh and leave where he was and go towards where Weiss was to prevent her death.

Spider-Knight 2099 (N): This is gonna be a huge mistake.

Jaune would hear Nicholas' comment and he would have a smile on his face and he would come to his senses and speak in a calm and happy tone to Nicolas.

Spider-Knight(J): I owe you, Nicholas, Big time.

i sat up to get on my laptop to answer asks and then as i was moving my stuff around i peeked at my 3ds wonder trade and

LMAO?????

i ended up backing up the save file to check this thing out since i don't trust wonder trade shinies, and of starters no less, even though there was nothing outwardly suspicious on the pokemon's profile. pkhex is giving it a thumbs up legality wise but that doesn't necessarily mean that the chespin was actually found legitimately, especially because it has a few perfect IVs. RNG manip is possible and i personally consider that legal but???? idk a naive 3 IV spread is a strange thing to manip

unfortunately i don't know enough about 3DS RNG manipulation (i've never personally done it, only gens 3-5) and i'm not sure how to cross-check this chespin with 3DS RNG tool if that's even possible with the OT information provided by pkhex, so i suppose i'll ask a friend for help with that later since i have friends who have done 3DS rng stuff. regardless of if it was legitimately obtained or if it was hacked though, honestly still pretty cool lmao. i don't feel the need to toss it out like i would with a machamps dot com shiny with pokerus and 6 perfect IVs holding a master ball or whatever 💀

I haven’t touched this au in so long I literally forgot the acronym lol

I don’t know if I will ever finish it so here is the plot I had lined up:

Bonding moments: following his meeting with the royal family Tommy is roped into the life of prince Theseus. Over the course of two weeks he becomes closer with his faux brothers and father. As he forms connections with the three Tommy decides that he is going to try and save them from their grisly fate in the future.

Behind closed doors: Tubbo is trying to keep his head down, working in leagues with Schlatt as they plan a revolution to overthrow the royal family. He goes about his day filing papers, going to meetings etc. When walking past the Schlatt family library he overhears a conversation. Schlatt, along with a man who he refers to as Dream discuss their idea to kidnap the young prince Theseus so as to weaken the royal family. At that moment Tubbo decides exactly what he will do. He will free Theseus and save the kingdom from years of tyranny under Schlatt’s rule.

Capture vs Captee: Dream kidnaps Tommy from the role of a knight within the royal court. He does this in attempt to use him as a bartering tool to win the war against the Arctic empire for Manburg

Reunited: while imprisoned on Manburg Tommy meets Tubbo again and both of them realise that they are trapped in the past and hatch a plan to improve it.

Interlude from : interlude chapter where we find out what Ranboo has been up too, I imagine this is where we get all the time travel information and how it works etc and by the end Ranboo and Karl have hatched a plan to rescue Tommy and Tubbo.

Part 3

(From here on the sketches aren’t refined at all so use ur imagination)

Escape: back in the past, Tubbo helps Tommy escape from Manburg.

Warnings: after returning to the Antarctic Empire Tommy warns sbi of what he believes to be the enemies plan by saying he learned it while held captive

War: self explanatory, big battle lots of dying and shit is not going the best it could be for Tommy

An Interworldly Intervention: mid battle both Tommy and Tubbo get sucked back into the present courtesy of Ranboo and Karl. Upon waking in the present they have realised that nothing they did changed anything as their meddling happened the first time around (weird time loopy shit). This opens the door for angst and such over the fact that the only family Tommy had ever had connection to is dead as doornails

The end: in the last part Tommy gets told he’s being moved to a new house, as cliche as it is I love happy endings so this house has reincarnated versions of sbi because what I say goes.

continuing my X-Files rewatch, and I'm so impressed by how they continue to build their partnership after the pilot. I feel like in the pilot, we learn who they are individually. Episodes 2-4 (Deep Throat, Squeeze, Conduit) show who they are going to be as partners.

And those two jump right in, don't they? There is such a comfort between them already in episode 2 (Deep Throat), and their bantering, which is one of the best things about their relationship, is already so strong?

Scully calling Mulder "sucker" when he purchases that UFO photo.

And: Mulder: "Tell me I'm crazy." Scully: "Mulder, you're crazy." And the way he laughs at that. I have so many feelings about that it's insane.

Mulder isn't used to having somebody on his side, that much is obvious. So it's not very surprising when he runs off on his own to check out that secret airbase. He would definitely not in a million years have expected Scully to hold an airbase security guy at gunpoint to save him. Again, FEELINGS. Scully doesn't even seem to think about it. Her partner is in trouble. So she helps him.

By episode 3 (Squeeze) she gets defensive when Colton calls Mulder crazy -- she immediately points out that he's a great agent and makes it clear that he is not ot be underestimated. Yeah, he's unusal, but there is more to him. She's all in already, even if she, too, doesn't agree with him a lot of the time. She is even offered a way out. Repeatedly. And even Mulder tells her he wouldn't hold it against her if she left. He knows she's not doing her career any favours by staying in that basement with him.

And it continues throughout the episode that Mulder's reputation gets seriously dragged through the mud, and she gets thrown in with him explicitly by Colton, who tells her flat out that she used to be a good agent before she started working with Mulder. The whole episode makes it very clear where she stands. It makes it very clear where Mulder stands too. His respect for her is obvious, and it's clear that he likes working with her.

That continues in episode 4 (Conduit), first with Scully convincing Blevins to let her talk to Mulder before denying them to pursue a tabloid headline as a case, and then with Mulder telling her, "so we disagree, it's not the first time and it won't be the last." That line seems really important -- he is committed to working with her even if she occasionally (or rather pretty much all the time) tells him that he's being entirely ridiculous and that nothing he says is making any sense. It already reminds me of the hallway conversation in ftf ( when he tells her "As difficult and as frustrating as it's been sometimes, your goddamned strict rationalism and science have saved me a thousand times over! You've kept me honest.")

They continue to argue throughout the entire episode. It's amazing how that works for them. How they can both insist they're right and still listen to each other and work together so well. I mean, they have that almost uncomfortably tense situation where she tells him she thinks he's pursuing this case only because of his sister, and he tells her "come with me or don't come with me" and walks off. And then two scenes later they're in the car together and he tells her about his personal trauma. They make disagreeing and arguing into an art form. They never lose respect for each other and it doesn't stand in the way of their budding friendship.

Those three episodes set up their partnership/friendship SO WELL.

So I was rereading the ask about Todoroki Reader driving and it got me wondering, what would happen if Reader did get in a crash? Would their reactions be different depending on how bad it was, and whether she was at fault?

Todoroki reader gets in a crash

"Mr Todoroki, your daughter Y/n got into an accident-"

Enji doesn't remember much after that, all he knows is that he was in his office one minute and the hospital next.

"Y/n Todoroki. Where is she?" He asked the receptionist.

"Sir, may I know your relation to-"

"I'm her father and if you don't tell me where she is right now, you'll be out of a fucking job-"

"Dad?" Enji looked behind him, and saw Natsuo.

"Natsuo, where's Y/n?" He asked, letting Natsuo pull him to the side.

"She's in surgery right now. But she'll be out soon."

"Surgery? What happened?"

"Apparently, another car crashed to her right and her car toppled. Luckily, Y/n was wearing her seat belt and the air bags opened in time to save her from severe head injuries. She did however end up breaking her left arm when she landed on it at the passenger seat." Natsuo ran a hand through his hair. "That's all I could get from her before she fell unconscious. Dad- I gotta get back to the OT. You call mom, okay?"

Enji waited in the sitting area outside your OT, his mind imagining all the ways your car had toppled over, all the fear you must've felt, all the ways you could've been in worse state.

"Enji! Where's she?!" Rei asked as she grabbed him by the shoulders and shook him out of his thoughts. Behind her, Shotou stood just as curious.

"Surgery. She'll be out soon-"

"Surgery?! Why?!"

"She fractured her arm, Rei. But she'll be fine-"

Rei began smacking her palms against Enji's chest. "I told you! I told you not to give her that car! I told you not to teach her to drive! I fucking told you and look at what happened!" Enji caught her wrists as Rei finally broke down crying. "Our baby- she's- she's all injured and broken and- and-" She sobbed into his chest and Enji collected her in his arms.

"She'll be fine, Rei. Y/n will be fine." Enji patted her back soothingly, and at that moment the doors opened and the surgeon walked out along with Natsuo.

"How is she?" Rei asked, scrambling off Enji.

"The surgery was a success, Mrs Todoroki. Y/n will need a lot of rest however. She's being brought back to her room, but she'll be asleep for some time. You're welcome to stay the night there." He then beckoned Natsuo to come along with him so that he can tell him more about your post op care.

Enji sat in the corner while Rei rested her head on your bed by your torso, her hand holding yours. Fuyumi came by earlier to check on you and left a while later to go home and cook something for you. Shotou left to go check the tapes and file a report with the police.

Enji waited for you to wake up, and seeing your sleeping with bruises littered on your face, he couldn't help but think back to what Rei had said to him.

He only taught you how to drive because you'd begged him for so long and you'd been on your best behaviour all year. No secretly dating, no staying out late, no sneaking away to parties, not even staying up past your bedtime. You'd been a golden kid all year and he felt like this was also gonna be more of an opportunity for you and him to bond more.

And the car? Well that was a birthday present. You hadn't asked for it, but what use is knowing how to drive if you don't have a car? Besides, the way you beamed when you saw your ride- Enji would happily give you another 10 cars just to see you smile like that.

But Enji doesn't understand why you were driving in the middle of the day without informing anyone about your destination/plans. The only rules Enji gave you with the car was to always inform him where and when you're going out, and to drive safely.

As far as Enji knows, you were home alone because Rei had left to go grocery shopping. Which Rei thought was weird because you always came to the store with her, but you were pretty adamant about staying back.

"Dad?" A small voice croaked, barely above a whisper. But it was enough to send Rei and Enji flying to their feet.

"Y/n? Sweetie? Are you okay? How are you feeling?" Rei asked, while Enji poured you a glass of water.

"Here." He helped you sit up and pushed the glass to your lips.

Rei left to call Natsuo and the doctors while Enji laid you back down. His heart dropped as tears formed in your eyes. "I'm sorry..."

"Shhh, its okay. Its not your fault." He patted your hair and kissed your forehead.

"But- the car-"

"Dont fret about it. You just worry about getting better, okay?"

Soon after the doctors had left, Rei had begun to admonish you, only to be stopped by Enji, telling her now is not the time. Fortunately, Rei got the hint he gave and decided now is not the time to make you feel any worse than you already do. Now you sat up as Rei fed you Fuyumi's delicious soup while Shotou sat on the bed beside you and Natsuo fiddled with your IV line.

Enji was outside on his phone, calling Hawks to find the bastard that rammed his car into you because all Shotou could find was that the man had disappeared without a trace and at some point, the cameras had stopped recording.

"Keigo. I need you to find that son of a bitch and I need you to find him NOW, or so help me God I will burn everything in this city until I do-"

Enji was too busy to notice Dabi walking into your room. As the door slammed open, Dabi darted straight towards you.

"Dabi-" but he cut you off by grabbing your collar and yanking you forward.

"What the fuck were you doing out of the house?!"

Fuyumi and Shotou tried to interject. "Dabi, let her go-"

"No." He pointed at them before focusing back on you. "You knew the rules. No leaving the house without informing us. So why the fuck were you out? Were you trying to leave? Escape with some measly boy and live some fantasy with him?!"

But the moment your eyes filled with tears was the instant Natsuo jumped and separated Dabi from you.

"If you must know, I left the house because I was bringing everyone lunches! And if you don't belive me, you can ask Fuyumi and she'll tell you the leftovers she found in the kitchen!" You furrowed your brows and looked down. "I just wanted to surprise everyone with bento boxes, one for all of you to show how much I appreciate you guys. I guess that was a huge mistake on my part." You sniffled before looking straight at him.

"I'm sorry, Dabi." You said before silently breaking down into tears, Rei immediately starting to coddle you. The rest of them send glares to him and Dabi left the room, his own heart now heavy with guilt.

Fuck. I really need to stop jumping to conclusions. He sighed before passing Enji, only to stop when he heard him complain to Hawks about finding the "hit and run" perpetrator.

Dabi snatched the phone out of Enji's hand and ended the call.

"What are you doing? I need to catch the driver-"

"No need. I already took care of him."he handed him his phone back. "He was a drunk driver. If you look any harder, you'll find me burning him to crisp on the missing tapes." Dabi snickered. "Its always fun how much more inflammable they get with alcohol in their system."

Enji could only watch in silence as Dabi walked away, whistling some jolly tune.

Soon after you're released, you already know you're gonna be coddled to the max. Rei and Shotou are now going to be in your personal space all the time, I mean Shotou may let you have a breather from time to time, but they both treat you like you've broken all 4 limbs instead of 1.

They'll always be pushing you back on your bed/on your seat and tell you that "you can't do this and that because I don't need you messing up your arm. Don't you know how critical the healing process is?!"

Oh and no more driving for you. Ever. Even though it was the other guy's fault, they've all agreed that it's far too dangerous for the youngest of the clan to ever be behind a wheel again. Hell, Natsuo us even looking for adult sized booster seats for you. And you already know that they're always gonna be the one strapping you in from then on.

Of course, Dabi spends some extra time stealing HK merchandise because he still feels guilty because of how he yelled at you, but he'd be damned if he ever let you know he's sorry.

Overall, you may or may not be traumatised by your accident, but your family has enough PTSD on your behalf to ever let you go out alone.

i forgot how wtf wild some of those kiss prompts are, but i would love to see 17 and/or 50! Artist's choice on the details.

I liiiiive (sort of). Work has consumed my entire being as of late bc it's the busiest season of the year and I'm so sick but that OT is delicious.

Far worse I experienced a program crash similar to the great Autodesk Fire of 2020 and I lost about twenty of my most recent files. So the one I was working on is lost to the mists of time.

Also during this process I learned that it's very hard to capture the entirety of any of the prompts on this list with a single image. I hope I was able to capture the prompt successfully (went for 17 with this bad boy)

So please enjoy my version of Cat!Jaskier and Geralt from that one fic I wrote forever ago and started three other short fics of. This is actually a specific scene from a WIP that I might never finish at this point because of other fics and the glaring fact that I can't write porn to save my goddamn life.

2/7/24

I am taking my lunch to get some treadmill time in... but also might need a vent. I am struggling with keeping my job but also scared of positions that would move me out of production. Without my OT I am just a salty cuss. Behind on everything and overwhelmed with assignments. I felt like they were fucking with me, even though we are supposed to have flex time AND make up time. They were trying to make me take PTO for some medical appointments. God damn, if I could just give up this job. 😪 I love it. I hate it. It is a very bipolar relationship.

What else? I am in the middle of some really heavy books (all borrowed so I have to give them return soon) and people keep interrupting my books.

And the friend that recently started yet another MLM business.... is now all over social media saying how great the opportunity is and blah blah blah. I am creating a boundary where I don't give her negative feedback, I don't want to hinder and progress she might be able to make.

But come on, man. It feels disingenuous at best. Inauthentic. Maybe I should hide her profile.

Maybe just everyone is annoying me?

Friends talking about going to the casino? Eh.

Why? Because my other friend has a fucking disastrous gambling addiction and is working himself to death. And everytime he makes a post about his winnings, I cringe. He has high interest loans out. Nothing i have said to him has gotten thru.

Every time I ask him to hang out, he is "working." But will definitely ask me to watch his dog so he can vacay. And now it is tax season, he has filed already and he is literally chomping at the bit to get his hands on that refund money. For a "vacation" weekend.

Jesus fucking christ man, get ahold of yourself. If you want to go, fine... but fucking save for it and stop messaging me, I have my own shit going on.

And me? I am feeling stuck since mom's illness last april. I need to get registered for classes again. 😩 I need to start making progress on something. I have plateaued weight wise and my mental state is just eh, when it should be burning with the fire of a thousand suns to fucking get this weight off. 😤

So what do I do? Go to Walmart and look at diet pills. (I am already on many things- but why am I compelled to keep looking??) I have a bunch of stuff that I struggle to use regularly enough for it to work properly.

I continue to be weighed down by the things that have been bothering me. Bills, school, taxes, work, clutter and I barely am making it from day to day and only then normally by the skin of my teeth, a happylight and a metric shitton of bergamot tea and anything else that will boost mood.

I have developed an affection for CBD products and I need to stop ordering it because it makes me eat stuff that I have purchased for mom. But it makes me feel good in the moment so I do it. 😱😱🤯👀

When I bought my copy of Alpha Sapphire it had a previous owner's save data, but the file had the default name 'Brendan' and like a dozen Pokemon. Like this guy had one badge. Josh the Boyfriend did the busywork of getting that file to the name rater, and from there I named them all and shoved them into the bank. I just beat the Delta Episode in my own file, so now I'm finally putting those original refugees back in. Kojiki finally gets to meet his big sister Mae. She's named and modeled after the Sapphire player character because her OT is 'Brendan' and I felt like that fit. Although, Hitorigami, who was the sacrifice from that file, is future-themed so maybe all those Pokemon should also have outfits that match? Or not. I don't know yet. So this is just a tentative design, I just wanted to commemorate Mae coming home.

okay, so! i forget if ive mentioned it here yet but i'm currently embarked on a quest to complete the national pokedex in my very first pokemon game, soulsilver. my main goal right now is just to finish the story so i can get to catching- just beat claire's gym- but i'm also working on planning where to get the pokemon i can't obtain from just my soulsilver cart.

with regards to mythicals, most of them can only be obtained in gen 4 via events which have long since passed. i'm cool with using save editors to insert those official events in, cus the only way to get them is to time travel to like 2011, so.

hhhowever. there IS an official, still-working way to get a mew in the gen 4 games- by depositing 999 pokemon into my pokemon ranch on the wii, you get a mew. so once i get through most of the dex on soulsilver, i'll be going on a catching spree in pearl til i have almost a thousand pokemon on the wii.

now, me and my sister still have our old wii from a billion years ago, and on it are a couple hundred pokemon from my ancient save files from like 2010. these pokemon are currently completely trapped there, because they can only be withdrawn to the save file from which they were deposited, save files which no longer exist...howeverrr, there IS a pokemon ranch save editor out there. when i'm done modding the wii, i'm gonna see if i can't edit the OT data on those pokemon and make them withdrawable to my pearl cart so they aren't Imprisoned In My Pokemon Ranch For The Wii Forever

i’ve been thinking about my mystery gift volunteer booth bc like. i have the ability to run most of the original gen 3 and 4 gift distribution softwares, like the actual ones nintendo used back in the day, but i’m not able to do that with gens 1 and 2. however pokemon data back then was really simple and we have a lot of documentation of what gen 1 and 2 distributions were like, plus some of them were literally handled by loading a bunch of event mons on a cart and trading them to people over link cable, so it wouldn’t be out of the question for me to do the same. ayano has even written code that can generate gen 2 PCNY mons into the save file’s party with the click of a button so it could probably be adapted to fill an entire save’s PC instead lol. i don’t think turnout for og gen 1/2 carts would be huge but it would still be a neat option maybe

on that note i think it might be fun to give out gen 1 mews that are custom to the convention? like the TID/OT name could reference the con. literally making a new mew event in 2024 lmao. could do this for gen 3 too but i’d have to learn a lot more about gen 3 pokemon save data structure and probably write more custom software so idk about that
