It's turning into something really cool. I am gonna trust the process and keep working on this story. I was actually struggling to like my own characters in this book, but now... Omg I love them like something. This just reminds me that I am still in the process of learning and finding my own voice and that every day will be a new challenge and I know I am gonna learn do much from it and I am. I often feel like the most stupid author in this world who is horrible and that indeed is true because I am a novice and I feel like I haven't even started learning the A of author and writing life. These feelings of mine are completely valid and so are my struggle with myself and my books because I know the process I'm in right now is called the grinding process where there is always a scar from chisel every day and those scars with bundle together and form a statue. I want to keep believing in myself and the process I am going through and often I feel like I am an idiot and maybe I am not cut for this, but then it's my characters who keep reminding me that it's just the beginning and it's never going to be easy, it never was. What makes a fantasy novel even better — mythological creatures!!!! At least I do love these creatures dead in some mythology come back to life in a new book with a new form etc. Like dementors. I mean I don't know why but I felt so close to them in Harry Potter. Yeah, call me crazy but like the concept was so cool. If we get more of such creatures I might go insane literally! So my every story has one or two or more hehe. . . . Even I have a really cool creature that I made from scratch known as Sulphyrus as of now. Those who read Merpire — my very first fantasy novel ever written, know how special Sulphyruses are that is if they remember XD. I am still working on Merpire. So this something that will help both in understanding historical fiction better as well as werewolves. . . But this isn't the limit, an author can develop a hierarchical structure in their novel which will stick to their novel and in that case they need to build and explain it to the readers. Well this is how I keep track of my characters and also joy down the changes they go through the book body wise, personality wise and overall. It's not for audience to know this details. As an author we must know these details to add depth to the characters. Every character driven story is better than plot driven story. Because I think plot exist only because characters are there to make it happen. So I think as an author before anyone else we must know our characters and they should be living figures in our mind. So many times I use celebrities for example. Not exactly copying everything about them but taking just as much is necessary for my story and character development.
