Coming Soon: Ch 11 of Delta Landscaping

So, I'm stealing a page from @mysterious-moonstruck-musings and her teaser moodboards for chapters of Destiny & Deliverance (go read that by the way). As I was editing Chapter 11 of Delta Landscaping I got distracted and opened up Canva. What I have below the read more is just what I was vibing with...it all plays into the next chapter in a certain way. I'm making some tweaks but maybe I'll publish it tonight!

Character Aesthetic Tag

Now then, what do we get for "Lacunacore"...

So, does it fit? Better than expected I think. A little dark, a little grunge, a little sad, a little angry. But with some brighter spots. It's fitting that the brightest image in the bunch is the wall of books/papers with a vaguely unhinged or at least highly cluttered vibe to it. Feels like her mind. She doesn't skateboard (too clumsy and afraid of falling over), but her aunt does and she always thought it was cool. The graffiti images aren't anything she would ever say aloud (too timid in general), but they're a vibe that simmers in the the back of her mind at times. She's uncomfortable around guns (both for what they represent to her, and for noise sensitivity issues), but the idea of "go train and practice with something for self defense" is something she will eventually be doing in a later chapter.

Well, I have a lot of WIPs, but lately, I’ve been trying to concentrate on holiday fics. I’ve never done a mood board before, so this is likely a bit meh. It’s meant to be modern Bridgerton House at Christmas for a festive threesome that will be the sequel to this fic.

Taste of Copper - initial pitch and moodboard

[WIP]

Ambrose Adenhart has presumed his lot in life is inheriting his father’s Northern Governor title and taking care of the Clifflands collaborating with the golden and the silver crowns, which he considers to be enough responsibility while torn between the dynamicity of the mundane and the mystical woods, the two threads of his heritage.

But when King Edric arrives at Orchard Haven telling him he is to be the one to wear silver, the gentler hand of ruling, Ambrose understands his life will be even more complicated–yet a treasure of opportunities has been laid at his feet, amongst all the chance to finally figure out how his sentiments and passions work.

Dragged into the heart of a Realm still pulling itself together after wars, illness and betrayals, his heritage casting shadows and secrets over him, Ambrose will have to learn to rule the viper's nest while figuring out his feelings for the man who brought him there–while he still can.

Voldemort fills his endless time with Barty’s recollections of a girl so inane, so meaningless, so insignificant and yet fascinating. He wonders how long she has held onto his Horcrux already. What might it have done to her?

Mr Gaunt

"He scares me." Astrea whispers, clutching the precious locket in her hand. The biting feeling of inadeduacy spreads through her insides like acid at the shameful admition. She stares at the ground, unable to face her master who asked her to do one simple thing. Keep the locket safe. But the locket is nothing like the diary. "Mr Gaunt scares me." "Is that so..." Voldemort hums, hiding his amusement form the trembling girl. Her fear is delicious. His past self must agree.

Tom Marvolo Riddle

“I’ve been wanting to meet you.” “How?” Is all Astrea manages to say after opening and closing her mouth a few times and finding no noise made it out. “Magic.” Tom whispers mysteriously. His eyes light up with a glimmer in which Astrea finds her own love for magic and knowledge reflected. “Are you- real?” “That,” He grins, closing the distance between them. “Depends entirely on your definition of real.” He takes her hand, lifting it slowly and presses the whipser of a barely there kiss to the back of her hand.
