50 years of history vs 60,000 years in the land Down Under. Why the racism Croats?
So the Australia Cup Final happened between A-Leagues side Macarthur FC and second division club Sydney United 58, a club historically run by the Croatian community in Australia.
Macarthur FC won 2-0, but it didn't go down without controversy. The Sydney United fans, mostly third generation Croatians whos grandparents came just after World War II, disrespected the 'Welcome to Country' by the First Nations, the traditional owners of Australia for more than 60,000 years.
And that's not all, their fans did the N*zi salutes, waved the Ustase flag, and chanted fascists chants.
An absolute farce! They made football in this country look bad! Say No to Racism!
Congratulations to Macarthur FC however. Let's not forget them.

FT: New Zealand 0-2 Australia.
A much better display in the second half produced not one, but two goals to finish off the two match series with New Zealand, as a dress rehearsal for the World Cup.
Up next, the World Champions France, at the World Cup.
