So I’ve finally got some of my thoughts on the new season in order and letting my self sit on it for a while

Dragons rising season 2 spoilers!!!!!

So first off holy shit this season has managed to completely wipe out any fears I had for season two. I’m a generally anxious person and am pretty naturally pessimistic about most things and was pretty anxious about season 2 because from the stuff shown in trailers and promotional vids it looked like a “Lloyd chosen one” plot line and I have a history of hating that kinda thing because it’s been beaten to death in ninjago at this point. While a bit of that was there I found it was done quite tastefully and didn’t overwhelm everything else story wise.

I felt that the pacing of the first 6-7ish episodes was a bit all over the place. Having the training arc and the Cole-Zane plot lines happen in the same episode with the pov switching back in forth felt a little bit off to me.

Sora and arins character arcs are shaping up to be pretty good. Soras more confident in her self than season one and she’s trying to help Arin but I feel like the whole using her elemental power to help Arin will backfire into her face. Arin’s insecurity and the whole how can I be useful if I don’t have an element I fell is being handled way better than the dumb kai arc in season 11(dw I will get to that when I get to kai) and it’s about on par with the Lloyd powerless plot from hunted. I am really excited to see what they do next and if Arin will be really mad at sora or not cuz like he’s super nice and stuff and I fell like he would be sad instead of mad.

Nya didn’t really have a lot going on personally except the stuff with Jay which I’m iffy on because so much of Nyas character in older seasons revolved around Jay and I just hope they don’t go back to that and let her character breath a bit.

In the topic of Jay I really really REALLY hope he isn’t evil. That the idea because it’s really out of character and they are already pushing my buttons with the lost memory crap because that’s something that I’ve rarely seen done well at all and it makes me very nervous and I just don’t like it. I do like that Jay just seems to be a guy who hates his job tho that’s fun.

I think the writers are just having fun with Zane and I think that’s cool. I do wanna punch the administration guy who said Zane isn’t a person because he is and he’s a bean and I will not allow this nobody to slander him.

It was nice to see more of Cole this season. I swear him and geo are so cute. The hand holding and the fact that they basically adopted two kids together is amazing and I am fully on board for this ship.

The villans were really interesting. I hope they keep up the quality with them because the mystery of ras’ master and wtf happened with jordana is really exciting. Cinder was intresting and as someone who has no interest in men what so ever I am kinda baffled at why so many people want this man but hey you do you. I do wonder what happened to ash tho. The member of the forbidden five looks interesting too and part of me is hoping that the leaked “evil jay” minifig is actually this guy just powered up cuz the color palette is similar enough and I just don’t want an evil jay.

Wyldfyre is amazing her whole leg being broken then sneaking on the ship to the exasperation of kai (like he would totally have pulled something like this a few seasons ago the hypocrite <3) and the others was so good. I am curious about her talk with egalt she mentioned one of her family members getting the wasting sickness but it can’t be heat wave cuz he seems fine so maybe she had more than one dragon guardian??? I do hope that Kai’s portal abduction does affected going into part 2 and that she bonds with nya and the others over it.

Egalt and rontu were very interesting to me and I’m glad they didn’t go the route of them being the actual creators of spinjitzu and kept the lore consistent I was slightly worried about that. Hope they come back in part 2 too.

Bonzle was a big surprise for me. I likes her personality in season 1 but I didn’t expect her to be so important. She’s really sweet and the scene with wu was great too.

And finally last but definitely not least, the best character in this entire show and my favorite comfort character to beat the shit out of

KAI

IT WAS SO FREAKING GOOD. I LITERALLY HAVE NOT BEEN THIS HAPPY WITH AN EPISODE SINCE SEASON 4 EPISODE 7 THE FORGOTTEN ELEMENT (iykyk) I was literately kicking my feet like a little girl and crying and screaming my head off to the point I woke up other family members. Him unlocking the rising dragon technique by having his sister help and being in harmony with his family is so fucking sweet and I cried like a little bitch it was so good. I am also so happy that they used his old hair and didn’t just slap a smaller version of his current hair onto him (tho I kinda wish they had used the fucked up custom hair that was in the older episodes but I doubt that model is even in their hands so whatever(side side note I love the fucked up hair so much it’s so stupid I love it and will forever miss it)) him being such a dad to wyld fire was so sweet and then using the rising dragon technique after he saw his family in danger was just perfect. I do kinda wish there was more of a dramatic reaction to him getting yeeted by ras into the portal (kinda like any of the other ninja “deaths/major injuries”) but im fine with what we got. Except I kinda hate that only nya has an outward reaction in the aftermath. No lloyd reaction no Cole reaction and nothing from Zane and it makes me mad because every other time a ninja had their moment there was a whole team reaction. But I’m feeling like that’s to nitpicky and there’s still ten more episodes to fix that so fingers crossed. But kai also encouraging bonzle to close the portal even if he’s trapped inside is such a kai thing and hit me like a truck. Also him calling bonzle kid dispite her being much much older than him is funny and sweet cuz Kai’s big brother/father figure side is coming through and it’s so sweet. And the ninja never quit line is so great I was sobbing even more after that. (Tho I don’t know why he said he got it from Lloyd when it would have made more sense to have it be from master wu cuz that’s where he learned it but eh whatever).

While im really happy about kai finally getting some well deserved angst im also very anxious about it too. This could be the perfect opportunity for the writers to just conveniently forget about him for a while and idk if i could sit through that. Kai is a huge part of why I watch ninjago and he’s always been handed the shortest stick character development wise and technically he never got his own focus season either (and no i dont count the pilots because that focused mainly on all the ninja and was only two episodes, i also don’t count season four because it was more a group season, and season 11 doesn’t count because he got a half baked b plot that sucked) I’m very worried that I will loose enjoyment in the show because I dropped the show out of disappointment after season 11 because A LOT of premonitional material made it seem like a kai season and I got my hopes up and was let down so much. I’m very cautious when getting excited about things involving kai in particular because of that and I’m just hoping the writers don’t fuck it up.

Ok that’s enough negativity for once. I’m so excited for more and am foaming at the mouth for more!

Here it is! Sorry if it isn't that good, also I'm the worst with endings but I hope you like it after all.

A Freezing Burning Feeling

The final months of the year were the busiest in the kpop industry too, all idols having awards, presentations for Christmas or New Year's Eve, seasons greetings and much more, so it isn't a surprise that any of them get sick at some point, specially around those months where it's common for virus to be around.

TXT had to fly to Japan for their MAMA's presentation, all of them having a surprise for the fans there.

It was a busy schedule, and they were feeling tired from everything.

Before they headed to the airport Taehyun noticed the slight discomfort in his stomach after eating lunch, but he payed no attention to it, some sleep could fix it.

"Wanna watch a movie?" Kai offered, Taehyun accepted and it distracted him from his discomfort, they were heading to Japan so the flight didn't take that long.

When they arrived Taehyun felt so exhausted like that plane had taken all his energy to land, even tho he was sitting the whole time.

Some typical procedures at the airport later and they got to their hotel.

"Finally" sighed Beomgyu who was also tired, all of them agreed with him, wanting nothing more than taking a shower, put on some comfy clothes and sleep.

But of course before anything of that could happen Yeonjun said "Wait, let's eat dinner first, I heard there's a buffet tonight and it would be cool if all of us ate together" well, normally each one of them went to their rooms and ate something from room service alone, but this once, they decided it was a good idea. And it was, just Taehyun thought this was unnecessary because all he wanted to do was curl up in bed like a ball.

Halfway through the meal Taehyun's stomach decided it wasn't okay with what he was eating and started to feel queasy, slowly he stopped eating but it was too late, his stomach was now upset, gurgling and making weird noises that he wondered if the rest heard. Without wanting to draw any attention he slipped his hand under his shirt and started to rub it lightly.

"Are you alright?" Kai noticed after a while. Great.

"Yeah, just ate too fast maybe, my stomach is taking its time to process the food" it was more than that but Taehyun didn't want to make everyone concerned about him.

"Why don't you go to your room and rest then? It's kinda late anyway so we should probably go too" God bless Soobin. Without needing to be told twice, Taehyun stood up and wished everyone good night.

Taehyun was taking a much needed long hot shower, helping him relax and forget about his pain for a bit.

Tho at times he had to stifle some burps that tasted just like what he was eating, but in a disgusting way.

He put on his pajamas and turned on the TV, deciding to watch something in the mean time he got sleepy.

But he awoke not too much later, the lights off and the movie he had put on was already over and it automatically played the second part, but what was different was that he felt suffocated.

Everything was burning, it was hard to breathe and his stomach was cramping as if it was trying to squeeze itself.

Taehyun quickly took off the covers and drank some of the water he had left on the nightstand before he layed down.

But it wasn't enough, he was sweating, it was like he had a heater right beside him, and his whole body was hurting, his stomach specially.

He curled up more, embracing his middle as another cramp left him gasping for air, the cramps now turning into some nauseating feeling.

Not sure of what to do he went to the bathroom, not knowing how he made it but at least the cold tiles helped a bit.

His shirt was damp with sweat, and he was sure he was pale, he couldn't look too much to the mirror. Kneeling in front of the toilet, unsure of how long would it take to his very first meal there to re appear, but it was agonizing, and he didn't even have his phone with him at that moment, he could use some help but it's too late to move, with a shaky burp his stomach was finally expelling a its contents.

Taehyun was still trying to regulate his breathing when the second wave came up, much larger and thick than the first one, going through his nose too, he was left coughing and the third one was also the same.

It was like that for a while longer than he would've liked it to be, but for every time he heaved up some more sick, his stomach felt less heavy, though it was still hard to the touch, and was pretty much still vomiting, after a while it stopped. But Taehyun kept on rubbing it, the pain still there, and for the more pressure he applied, more burps kept on coming up and left him dry retching over the toilet. Too nauseous to move and being that exhausted, he finally fell asleep right there on the floor, he flushed the toilet and wiped his mouth, the cold tiles were somehow refreshing him from the burning sensation that made its way through all his body (or making it worse but he didn't care tho)

When Taehyun woke up, he noticed that the nausea had subsided so it was safe to move to his bed, the uncomfortable hot feeling was now replaced by all the contrary, if he fell like burning a while before now he felt like he was freezing.

As quickly as he could Taehyun made his way to his bed, seeking for warmth between the blankets. However, after an hour, his temperature changed again, and so, the cycle kept repeating.

It was a hell of a night, Taehyun had barely slept, not to mention his stomach was still in knots. By now the others must be awake, having breakfast and getting ready for their performance at night, Taehyun decided to call a manager and see what they could do.

"Hello, Taehyun-ssi, good morning"

"Hyung, I'm not feeling well, I had a rough night" Taehyun said with a tired sigh.

"What happened?" the manager was now concerned, if it was necessary they needed to cancel his performance and Kai had to do it alone.

"I don't know, before we got on the plane my stomach was feeling kinda off, I thought it was just the excitement or the nerves about all this, but after trying to sleep I threw up, a lot, and my body was either so hot or so cold and... I'm tired... but I still want to perform".

"Okay, I'll drop by your room with the medical staff, they'll give you something that hopefully will be enough to let you rest for a while and feel better to perform, but I want to let you know that if after that you're still not feeling good then there's nothing we can do, your health comes first, Taehyun-ah".

And Taehyun was aware of that, so when the medical staff arrived to his room and connected him to an IV of vitamins and supplements and a bunch of more stuff that were supposed to make him feel better, he fell asleep, finally relaxing. He didn't know it but all the members came by to check on him from time to time and then left for some individual schedules, Soobin was there when he woke up tho, almost five hours later since he fell asleep, confused about where he was until he remembered.

"Hey, how're you feeling?" Soobin's calm voice, it soothed any of the discomfort that was left —even if there wasn't anything left—.

"Definitely much better than last night" Taehyun yawned, rubbing the sleep off of his face, Soobin stood up when some room service arrived, he put the tray of food on his legs and opened the containers, it was soup, and some other light dishes for his stomach.

"Eat something, at least just a little bit, but have something in you aside from those fluids, if you're feeling completely better manager hyung said you are able to perform, but if you're still feeling bad then you're also able to rest, they have an statement prepared and all".

Okay, Taehyun now was hungry, so he ate slowly until his appetite got bigger and finished almost half of what Soobin had ordered for him, not wanting to risk getting his stomach upset again, and when an hour passed and his body wasn't trying to reject what he ate he told everyone he was perfectly fine to perform, and started getting ready, giving his all on that stage with the support of his members.

Has a Tumblr acc but it’s only to interact w fanart of fnaf and sally face and like idk follow other fan accs he’s one of those empty accs with some random ass username no posts no bio no prof pic just his name in lowercase. has a deviantart?? again doesn’t post just to look at fanart he’s really into fanart and almost gets into reading fanfiction about his various interests but ultimately decides against it cuz i feel like violet would clown on him for it if she ever found out

Kit: Has an insta but it’s private with like 27 followers and it’s all like just his family and friends and sometimes when his friends post he’ll comment something like ‘Looking good bud 👍’ and then disappears from the internet for another month or two until he gets a notif that his wife posted or something. too scared to go on twitter and i don’t blame him. for the most part he just doesn’t understand how the internet works and has no intentions of finding out so he leaves it alone. he also has a facebook but same rules apply with the instagram only ever goes on to hype up his wife and kids and sometimes friends

Kyle: frat boy sorry cuz i don’t imagine frankenkyle can fathom the internet anyway i feel like kyle gets into debates online like way too much and he sees nothing wrong w the fact that he’s like actively searching out bigots to give a piece of his mind to. he’s got a tiktok and only follows like racist sexist ppl so his feed is full or opportunities to curse someone out digitally. he’s also got a twitter thats almost been banned a lot. he’s completely anonymous w it tho and his insta is completely regular he’s got like maybe 900-1000 followers just of like his friends and frat guys from his own or other frats and a bunch of girls who asked for his insta cuz they thought he was cute even though he never replies to flirty dms. he WOULD have several white boy went fishing posts and you guys can’t argue w me on this ok i wrote too much for him. he definitely has a lot of girls commenting every time he posts and i think his brothers would give him a lot of shit for not ‘jumping on that shit’ but he’s all like ‘oh i’m old fashioned u know i’m not like that’ has an active snapchat that he adds stories to all the time but once again never responds to messages

Jimmy: he has an account on instagram, twitter, probably facebook but they’re all mostly like linked to the freak show ykwim like he’d have like a verified checkmark but he only ever posts like freak show related announcements or like every now and then a little video that he records of him and some other ppl in the show behind the scenes and it’s captioned like ‘come see us (enter date here)’ and that’s pretty much it he’s not super big on being active in social media because he claims he has plenty of friends irl he doesn’t need fake robot friends. also may not know how the internet works

James: i mean sally runs the hotels official instagram page and all other socials and he probably has no idea that she’s doing that until he finds out she posted some image of video of him on one of the accounts and then some guests recognize him at the hotel and say like ‘omg ur that guy!!’ and he has no idea what it all means n shit. I think he would get a great kick out of instagram reels like non tiktok but you know how like a month after a trend happens on tiktok then it goes to reels? right like he eats that shit up he thinks its the funniest goddamn thing like funny cat videos or someshit

Kai: right so like we all know he trolls reddit and 4chan and posts rude reviews on thatcow. the kinda guy that kyle finds himself internet battling like this is the enemy he's been preparing for. he has a tiktok to stay relevant and he's just a comment section lurker 'user17896379' type shit he just likes various biggoted comments and occasionally replies just to start fights and shit. he's got a facebook and insta where he's totally normal tho like 'hey guys vote me for senate!!' again similar to kyle but like opposite ends of the same spectrum. i would love to view his search history. searches the most despicable things on p0rn websites every time he yanks it and i just am desperate to know what shit he's looking at

yeonjun didn't notice you looking for water or milk to lessen the spicyness as he keep eating. if he saw you looking for water or milk around the apartment he would definetly won't let it go and keep bringing it up just to see you embarrassed.

if he would notice then he will be “ there's water here ” pointing at the glass of water. you never grabbed that glass of water so fast.

he would definitely tease you for that and will bring it up everytime he has the chance to just to laugh his ass off.

DISCOVERED IT WHEN YOU REFUSED TO EAT SOMETHING SPICY. was confused when you refused but then thinks that you just don't like spicy foods then when you asked if it's too spicy and he answered " no not really " so you tried it.

when you tried it, your eyes widen at first but waved it off as you started to chew it as if to taste if it's actually not that spicy. wrong it's so spicy in your taste buds. standing up to get a glass of milk as beomgyu just watched you walked around in the kitchen looking for a glass.

after that, you sits next to beomgyu again as you just watched him eat and him stifling his laugh and eats peacefully. you know damn well he will talk about it again after he finished eating and just laugh like 99% of him laughing and 1% of him explaining why it's funny.

YOU GUYS ARE LIVE IN WEVERSE TALKING ABOUT FOODS. when someone said about " i never seen yn talk about something spicy? " you just laughed it off as you continued to talk about another different topic as taehyun looked at you as if judging you 💀

“ what? ” you would ask him as you look back at him when he just shakes his head and faces the camera and says “ yeah, yn is never a fan of spicy foods. ” taehyun can see you in his peripheral vision, eyes widening. the chats were laughing and some were chatting "😂😂" .

thank taehyun for revealing your little secret! /j after the live you literally grab something and was confused about it but knows what you're gonna do so he just watched you lovingly. then was shock that you literally take a spicy ramen. you gave him a " watch me, i can handle this " not a seconds after, you were in need of milk. lesson learned don't show off.

MAYBE FIND IT FUNNY AND PRANKS YOU TO THINK THE RAMEN ISN'T THAT SPICY. he was eating ramen in the kitchen and you just finished taking a bath with the towel on your hair to dry it out a bit.

“ want some? ” kai asked as you looked curiously at what he's eating. “ yeah, sure it looks tasty ” getting your own chopsticks, kai's grin going unnoticed by you.

you were chewing the noodles as if to savor the taste when it gets so hot in your mouth like it was on fire. “ what the fuck did you put on this? ” you yelled at him as you ran into the refrigerator to get milk.

huening kai could only laugh loudly at the scene. “ please- I didn't put anything! ” he said still laughing. you really hope he runs out of breath and starts to choke when laughing.

11. has an F/O inspired you to pick up a new hobby/interest/habit this year?

Mmm not necessarily any hobbies, but I’ve been trying different foods thanks to F/Os lol. This is super embarrassing to admit but I’m a picky eater and super hesitant to try new food…unless I see one of my blorbos eating it and then I’m like “ok i’ll give it a shot”. Ex: went to a market, saw a katsudon and my goody brain was like “I like chicken katsu…but I don’t like eggs…oh but Toshi made it look good, so I guess I’ll try it”.

I ended up liking it 🤣 no mayo involved tho. Sorry vice commander.

12. if you have spotify wrapped, were there any songs related to your F/O(s)/selfships in your top 100? if you don't, were there any songs you listened to a lot this year because they remind you of your F/O(s)?

🤔Keiji and Reko are pretty recent, so I don't have songs associated with them yet, but as for Gin and Toshi...maybe some of the Gintama ops? I enjoy listening to those ^^ oh and the covers by fans who try to imitate their VAs are pretty neat too.

17. how do you and your F/O(s) spend new year's eve together? do you celebrate in any way? do you have any important new years traditions? (if you celebrate the new year on any other point of the year than december 31 this question also applies of course!)

i couldn't decide who to talk about so I used that wheel of names site to choose for me and got Keiji. Luckily I sorta have a SI concept in mind (she's a researcher and I have her personality/background more or less down but she's nameless), but that's a whole other can of worms lol. Anyways assuming this is a lighthearted AU without any Death Game shenanigans involved, there's a good chance that Keiji might have to work that day since he's a police officer and all. So he and SI would have to celebrate New Years beforehand or earlier in the day. Regardless, they would definitely go eat soba at a nice and lowkey restaurant cause neither of them has any cooking skills (sorry Keiji, but after seeing you beg Kai to cook in ytts, I'm 85% positive you relied on take out and instant noodles to survive). Definitely a nice change of pace considering how busy Keiji is, so I can imagine he really appreciates those ordinary moments.

Gaslighting your brain into thinking you're writing for Hwa is the only choice <3 one of my friends who writes is in a similar spot, she used to write short stories for multiple characters from her fandom, but when it comes to series it's just ONE character in her mind and at this point she only writes for him. The brainrot is big. Same tho, if I were to write for kpop I'd be known as the Seonghwa writer for sure 🤭

i didn’t look back because why would i? my nosy friend did tho. they looked back for a millisecond then faced me with regret and fear written all over their face. mouthing the words, “don’t kill me.”

i didn’t have time to question them on what was going on since a tall boy with honey skin and brown parted hair made room for himself between us and hooked his arms around our shoulders.

“na jaemin huh, y/n?” donghyuck, one of jaemin’s greatest friends since childhood, faced me and his shit eating grin was so clear in broad daylight. “i did not expect that at all.” he chuckled at my red face.

“how much did you hear,” i asked him, now getting really irritated and was ready to deck him.

“literally all of it, you guys are really shameless talking about crushes so fucking loudly in this crowded hallway.” his arms still on us and he was walking sluggishly, of course his smirk was still there. “i can do you a favor, y/n, by telling your lover boy.”

“you better not!” my friend yelled at him for me. “look, this is my fault ‘kay. don’t do y/n like that.”

donghyuck fake pouted. “what’s the fun in that? i think jaemin would be fond of the surprising news honestly.”

my stomach churned at the last sentence but the feeling immediately went away when i remembered who was talking. donghyuck was infamous for being a teasing bastard so no one takes him seriously. “dude, seriously just get out of here.” i said.

“if you please, babe.” he snickered and took his arms off of us and walked away.

“oh my god, i am so sorry y/n. oh my god, i’ll treat you lunch after school. please forgive me. i should’ve kept our promise. are you mad? please don’t be mad, but you have every right to be if you are.” my friend rambled on as we finally made it to our class.

“y/f/n, it’s fine. really, it’s fine. you didn’t know and honestly, i don’t care anymore. maybe, this will help me get rid of my crush on him.” i shrugged it off like it was nothing to avoid worrying my friend, but inside, i was losing it.

what if donghyuck actually tells him? will jaemin makes fun of me? is he going to give me dirty looks now? at least now, he’ll notice me. ugh, he’ll be confused as to why the girl who was a bitch to him in middle school likes him. karma.

i took a deep breath in attempt to calm myself down. he wouldn’t act that way. he’s a nice guy, i know he is deep down.

the conversation me and my best friend had with donghyuck earlier in the day still stayed on my mind all day. i avoided all the routes i’d take around the school where i’d usually see jaemin walking around. i kept my head down while walking down the halls. i tried my best to avoid him, even though on regular days, i’d try my best to ‘bump’ into him.

the last class of the day was near. i was walking up the flight of empty stairs peacefully, trying to get to class even though, i’d rather be at home under my bed sheets trying to forget today.

“y/n,” a painfully familiar presence was behind me. jaemin stood a couple stair steps behind, his hands in his pockets of his baggy pants. i turned around slowly and admired him the second i saw his figure. his beanie fitted his head so well, a couple hair strands were sticking out. i could see his silver chain that stayed beneath his orange hoodie slightly. he stood there with confidence radiating. “hey,” he avoided eye contact but he was wearing a smile.

“hi,” i couldn’t keep my eyes off of him. he was just so nice to look at. his cheeks slightly tinted pink and i could see his fingers fiddling in his pockets. i decided to suck up my pride and just be straight forward as i couldn’t handle the painfully awkward silence no more. “if.. you’re here because of donghyuck then just forget about it please. i’m sorry about that.” he finally looked me in the eyes after i finished talking and i was surprised that i was able to maintain the eye contact. my face grew hot immediately.

“why are you apologizing?”

i honestly didn’t know. i just can’t imagine how awkward he feels right now because of me. “i just hope you don’t feel obligated to talk to me because of what happened. it was stupid. i’m just. sorry. i guess.” i was preparing myself for the rejection but jaemin’s puppy eyes made me second guess that.

“god you really are oblivious.” he sighed. “i know hyuck can be an asshole at times but he wouldn’t embarrass anyone like how you think he’s done to you by telling me about- uh.. your crush.”

i was so confused. my mouth was open but nothing came out.

my breathing hitched when he slowly started to walk up the stairs and was now so much closer to me. “tell me, is it true?” his voice was a lot quieter and softer. “you’ve liked me for that long?”

i gulped. not knowing if i should lie or not. but god, he already knows because of donghyuck so might as well just go for it. i nodded.

a big smile creeped onto his face. my eyebrows furrowed. is this entertaining to him? my misery and embarrassment is entertaining to him? i was just about ready to get out of there and flip him off for making me feel like this but he trapped me between his body and the wall behind me.

“y/n, have you not been noticing how i look at you? since 7th fucking grade, i’ve always been putting an effort to just see you for even a second outside of class.” his breath fanned my face. “i like you too if it wasn’t obvious enough.”

clearly it wasn’t.

before i could even process anything, he gently put our lips together. his slightly chapped lips fit so perfectly with my soft lips. he hummed as he tasted the strawberry flavored chapstick on my lips. his hands were placed on the wall, while mine were gripping his purple pullover tightly.

my mind and heart were racing. what the hell is going on? is this real?

he didn’t move his lips at all. it was a simple but meaningful kiss. “i like you too.” i whispered, looking into his brown eyes, slowly releasing my grip on his pullover.

he laughed at me. “you’re cute.” he walked back, allowing me to have room to move. “how about i take you out this friday?” he smiled at me. “only if you want to.”

“of course i want to.” i rolled my eyes playfully and smiled back.

his smile grew bigger, i didn’t know that was possible. “perfect. i’ll see you later.” he went closer to me and cupped my jaw and kissed my heated pink cheeks. his other hand placed something inside my tan cardigan pocket.

he pulled away and right before he left, he had to say, “also, can you change your chapstick flavor? i don’t really like strawberries.” he flashed me a bright smile and left.

i shook my head smiling uncontrollably, not believing what had just happened. i put my hand into my pocket and saw what he had slipped in there.

The both of you looked at the full moon that shine brilliantly tonight, hard to believe that in such a beautiful night, many demons are attacking and eating humans.

"Mmrrghh...?" you let out a soft noise as you turn your attention to him, though you can't say anything due to your bamboo muzzle, Sanemi somehow understand what you said, he looked at you with a smile everyone never sees "Yeah (Name)? Is there anything you need?"

You stayed silent for a while then point at your bamboo muzzle "Uuuh..."

"You want me to take your muzzle off?"

You nodded and smile through your eyes, Sanemi knows that you won't hurt him so he just smiled and gently took your muzzle off, once it's off, Sanemi gaze at your face.

Still as beautiful as I remembered

You give Sanemi a toothy grin and cupped his face as you try to speak "N-Nemi... No work too hard... 'Kay? ...I'm worried... O-of Nemi..."

Sanemi knows you kind of having a struggle to speak and have a childlike demeanor (kind of like Nezuko) for almost several years, somehow he finds it cute.

He put his hand atop of your hand and lean in to search more of the contacts "Yeah, I promise I won't work too hard"

You smiled in satisfactory and grabbed his hand as you watch the full moon together "Moon... Beautiful..." you say smiling and point at the moon "Yeah, moon's look beautiful but you're even more beautiful" you blushed at his statement and hid your face under the sleeve of your kimono "N-Nemi... F-flatter me too m-much" he just chuckled and ruffle your (H/C) hair "I'm just stating the obvious, ya know!"

You looked at him through your sleeve with a pouty face which made Sanemi's heart skipped a beat

You're so fucking cute that it's hard to believe that you're a thing I should've kill

"Genya... Okay?"

Sanemi just shrugged nonchalantly "I dunno, that brat is still here despite I don't want him to" you eyed him sadly, why does he act so distant towards his own little brother? "Why... Nemi said that?" he looked at you with something close to sadness in his eyes "He shouldn't be here, he could've just stay back, live his own life and have wife and children and that he enjoy life to its fullest"

You just looked at him then hugged his arm, slightly rubbing it to cheer him a bit "Genya... Good person, Genya wants help Nemi..."

"He didn't have to" He said avoiding your gaze for a while "You haven't change a bit, you're still very nice towards us since we're just kids" he looked back at you again "Even when you have become a demon, you're still as nice as when you were a human..."

You smiled at him "Thanks to Nemi... Nemi remember when Nemi found me?"

"How the hell can I forget? I'm surprised to hear that you survived demon attack but I didn't expect you to be alive..." he said as he caressed your hair "I was happy that you were alive, but it really surprised me that you have become one of them, heck, you even attacked me! I'm just glad I can talk some sense to you" he sighed and look at the ground "You are one of the most precious people I don't want to lose, (Name), It would break me if I ever lose you..." he layed his head on your lap as he looked up at you with adoration.

"Do you remember when we pretended to be a married couple when we're still kids?" he asked as he put his big hand on your smooth face, you smiled at him and put your hand atop of his "I r-remember... Nemi make a good husband..."

A slight blush creeped on his face "Heh, yeah... You even make a decent ohagi for me" you smiled and caressed his fluffy white hair as he closed his eyes, enjoying your gentle touch

"Nemi... Can we... Live together one day? What if o-one day... I di-die?"

He opened his eyes and looked at you "The heck you're talking about?! You won't die! And we will have a life together!"

"But..."

"No buts, (name), I believe you will stay alive, one day you can walk under sun hand in hand with me, I will find a way so that you could do that" he then scowled "Even if that means I gotta ask that Kamado brat, I will do it for you and it's a promise"

You looked at him and took his hand and kissed the palm of his hand, smiling "Thank you... Nemi..."

Sanemi blushed at what you did

"Damn it, (name), I should be the one who did that"

You giggled at him and continue to caress his hair "Nemi... You promise we have a family together? Me, Nemi with Genya and future kids?"

Once again, Sanemi blushed deeply as you mentioned "future kids"

"Goddamn it, (name)... I should be the one that said that too, not other way around..."

This time you laughed softly at him "Sorry... I like to tease Nemi..."

He looked up at you then grinned "Once this is all over, I'll be the one who always tease you"

You raised your eyebrows at him, challenging him "Nemi can't do that..." Sanemi let out a soft 'heh' as he put his hand on your cheek, caressing it gently "You sure about that?"

You blushed this time, but still smiling at him "I'm sure..."

He then sat up and gently cupping your cheeks, nose touching as he look at your eyes deeply "Once we all kick Muzan's ass, I promise I will stay by your side, I will protect you, and We will live together forever with our future family, I swear by Oyakata-sama's name You will walk under the sun with me and we will live together happily until one of us cross the sanzu river"

You nodded at him with a smile, his warm breath fanning your lips before he connected it with yours.

The kiss is surprisingly gentle even for someone as rash as Sanemi, you smiled against his lip, and once you both parted the kiss, he hugged you tightly and buried his head on your shoulder

"I love you, (name)"

You return the embrace, slightly tearing up.

"I love you too, Nemi..."
