See because everyone Says "Oh Cole must've improved his cooking since season 1, because all the Finders missed his cooking" but I shit you not my first impression was genuinely just "Oh, Geo is Way worse at cooking than Cole, huh? These poor kids, they must have no clue what real food even tastes like, having been lost at such a young age...."
wait i havent been really following ninjago stuff. whats going on with cole???? i am so lost-
so during the first season of Dragons Rising, we are introduced to where Cole ended up in the Merge- the Land of Lost Things, where anything that is forgotten ends up. Here, Cole has made a family with a Half-Geckle/Half-Munce named Geo (who is the new EM of Fusion), a formling child named Fritz, a serpentine child named Spitz, and a Skeleton* named Bonzle.
Geo and Cole are heavily hinted at being in a relationship.
Cole and Geo are the "paternal" figures of the Finder's family, in season 2 Geo reminisces about moments with Cole in a romantic way while looking at a photo of him. Cole and Geo are later seen holdings hands on two occasions, discussing their family with Bonzle.
This Tiktok by Rosierossies shows the moments better than I can explain it
anyways Homophobes are pissed that Cole, a character that has been Queercoded since literally episode 9 of season 1 is now in a romantic relationship with a man (now, the show has not EXPLICITLY STATED that they are in a romantic relationship outside of the above mentioned scenes, but it's pretty hard to deny). They want Cole to be explicitly straight and bashing Geo/Cole.
TLDR; Cole is in a semi-confirmed relationship with Geo and homophobes are throwing hissy fits lmao
Is anyone else interested in the idea of Nya and the ninja thinking there is a new lightning elemental master? Like, if Jay’s face and stuff is covered they prob would jump to that conclusion instead of “Jay is evil now/lost his memory”. Idk. Kinda wanna draw it
I'm excited that Jay is an antagonist for several reasons
Jaya angst, like the angst there is so good, very excited
The betrayal it will be to everyone else. And the conflict of fighting jay to stop ras or trying to save jay but letting ras get away
Jay's powers are one of the best counters for Sora's powers imo. Sora is very powerful now, and I would not be surprised at all if the writers made Jay a villian because of this.
Hoping that Jay's gonna be at least a lil badass. Really hoping they showed Jay being kinda pathetic is to contrast how he is once he is an antagonist.
if in drs2, everyone was shown their greatest fears, and nya's fear was jay not remembering her. but then she snapped out of it thinking, "this isn't real. he wouldn't forget me."
then that means she realized her fear was irrational. because she probably has trauma from forgetting her family at the end of seabound / start of crystallized (and everyone forgetting skybound). this woman sat there and had the very emotionally intelligent realization that "my fear of jay forgetting me is likely just a manifestation of my own irrationalities."
so she snapped herself out of it
and she's gonna eventually have to face the fact that no! he did forget her! and somehow the stars aligned just wrong enough for the most improbable occurrence in the world, her greatest fear, to become reality
Geo and Cole would see the #savemyboycole shit and Geo would get upset, so Cole would kiss him on the cheek and tell him that people are just being stupid, and Cole only has eyes for Geo and Geo would wipe back the tears slowly forming and Cole would hug him and they'd. Like. Watch The Princess Diaries or whatever two gay men do when they're alone togather and in complete and total privacy and have a bunch of free time Idk.
And yeah, that's what Oliver saw in the Phantasm Cave! If I really wanted to, I could analyze and dissect everything he sees in his vision but I will refrain (at least for now)
Also this was scene in the actual season was the first one that made me go "Oh yeah, I gotta do something with Oliver here". For the most part I try not to have AUs on the brain while watching something new but I also can't help it sometimes.
Harumi's guide to getting adopted:
Step 1: get self-disowned (could be through bad behaviour or murder)
Step 2: revive evil warlord
Step 3: get other child disowned
Step 4: profit
Note: this method is specific to evil guys with four arms, the royal family may need a different method.
Me, months ago, putting one of my ocs in a situationship type of deal with Ash: surely since this is such a minor side character the plot will never touch him again so I can picture him and Alcyo (oc) being silly for the rest of their days
Me when s2 dropped, seeing Cinder for the first time: …oh!
