Twin Universe AU ✨

So I've had this AU in my mind for about three years now and I never did anything about it. What if Rose had twins? Steven and Nora.

About Nora

She doesn't have the gem. But she does have the gem energy. Maybe even more than Steven but she can't use her powers since the energy is used up in keeping her alive (no gem).

Appearnce : Since Steven got Rose's curls, I thought it would be fun to give her Greg's dense, straight hair. She was very weak when she was born (again, no gem) so she's a bit skinnier than Steven. (Don't worry, she's healthy now.) For her outfit, she could have the "Mr. Universe" shirts. In the OG series, she was taller than Steven (since her appearance is proportional to her biological age). But in future, Steven easily surpasses her in height.

I'll post more about her personality and relationships with characters later but know one thing : she's the BEST wingman any brother could ask for (or she tries atleast).

DANNY PHANTOM X DC CROSSOVER, DEMON TWINS AU.

Danyal is the younger twin by four minutes. He has always been seeing as a failure due to his aversion to kill and constant rebellious behavior against Ra’s rules and orders, questioning his leadership and decisions despite his very young age. It is that same rebellious streak what stops Ra from getting rid of the boy, he can see his grand-son’s potential in the ferocity of his ice-blue glare that remind the old assassin of Batman himself.

Due to Danny’s constant defiance, he is constantly punished by Ra, always in front of Damian so he doesn’t follow his twin’s example, but this has the opposite effect. Damian deeply admires his brother’s compassion and rightful defiance and always tries to help Danyal by treating to his wounds or simply accompanying him when in solitary imprisonment, always standing outside the door.

When the twins are eight years old there is a really strong earthquake that makes the cave collapse, a large rock is going to fall on Damian but Danny pushes his brother away. The floor gives in and Danny falls into the darkness as Talia grabs her oldest and takes him away.

The boulder makes Danny sink in the large Lazarus Pit beneath the cave, that’s when Danny is hit by memories of his past life, when he was Daniel Fenton… that he is Phantom. When the flashback ends, Clockwork is in front of Danny and welcomes him back home.

Two years after Danyal’s death, Damian is sent to live with his father. Damian never really understood where all of his brother’s defiance and rightfulness came from but after meeting his father he understood. Damian doesn’t tell anyone about Danyal.

Fast forward to when Damian is fourteen. Darkside is invading and everybody is desperate so Constantine proposes his craziest idea so far: to summon The High King of the Infinite Realms. Raven, Zatanna, Dr, Fate and Captain Marvel try to stop him but after a heated speech from John the magical users begrudgingly agree. The summoning is lead by Constantine and supported by Zatanna, Raven and Dr. Fate. In the room are also Batman, Robin and Captain Marvel. Everything goes well, a creepy and unnerving as it is the summoning is a success and the magic users manage to summon and eldritch creature made of the cosmos itself, but when the High King’s eyes land on Robin it says with distorted voice: Akhi?

The watchtower is then hit by one of Darkside’s attacks, prompting the High King to join the fight.

When all is said and done and Darkside is thrown away to a far away corner of the galaxy the High King appears before Batman and Robin and the eldritch/cosmic creature then takes the form of a teen human male that is Damian’s carbon copy except for the blue eyes.

Batman almost faints but Superman takes him away just in time, leaving Robin and the High King to talk in private.

“You died.” Damian says as he touches his brother’s face, caressing his hair, his eyebrows, his eyelids, his cheeks and nose.

“I did.” The High King, Danyal, responds to his brother as he allows him to touch him to his heart’s content. “I have a lot to tell you.”

My brain is unwilling to let go of Twin AU prompts. Sorry for the long post lmao.

Jazz and Jason are getting pretty serious in their relationship, and honestly, they’ve both been hesitant to introduce their family members to one another despite constantly talking about them. They’ve been dating since she started her doctoral studies at Gotham U and she’s about to defend her dissertation, so it really is about time. He saved her in her first week as the Red Hood and he immediately felt at home with her (something, something liminal), she runs into him the next day at a coffee shop and thanks him for taking the time to help her.

Identities are obviously blown. Jason knows that her brother works in ‘politics’ and her younger sister is a travel blogger, and that the three of them don’t talk to her mad scientist parents anymore. Jazz knows that he came back from the dead, his adoptive family had a slew of issues in addition to their hero-complexes and that he would be prepared to kill for any one of his siblings. Their communication skills are top notch.

But then came the issue of actually meeting the family. Like Jazz knows all of the drama between the siblings but could not pick them out of a line up, or more importantly, know who to talk to if an emergency situation came up. Jason agrees, that yeah, it would probably be for the best if he could at least identify her little brother and sister if they had to like, meet at hospital or something.

So that was the plan. Invite just siblings over to their shared apartment, no parents and no fuss. (She even called Danny ahead of time to tell him not to portal straight into the apartment, he needed to walk in the door like a normal person. They could share Ghost King secrets later.)

Tim arrives first, he’d been working a case nearby and Jazz & Jason live pretty close to a nice coffeeshop, so he stopped along the way. He’d done some creeping to figure out that she drinks Chai so he brought one for her. Creepy and yet, endearing.

Ellie comes in second from the window, launching into a story about how annoying it was to find the place with all the gloom, didn’t this city have any respect for the dead? Tim doesn’t get it but Jason is laughing along so Tim files it away for later.

Dick comes in with a shit ton of Pizza he panic ordered, a fruit bouquet and two bottles of wine from Bruce’s cellar. Duke came along with him, a large tupperware of Alfred’s cookies.

Then Steph, Babs and Cass show up, immediately treating Jazz like family while also being hella suspicious about the whole thing. She notices them looking at her hands and Jazz explains that no, they weren’t doing this because Jason proposed. Steph and Cass are annoyed at Jason but tell Jazz she could do better if she wanted. Babs is happy they aren’t rushing into anything (she’s the only one besides Tim that knows how long they’ve been dating- this is just to throw out a red herring for the others)

Everyone is getting along and having a great time, Ellie being a natural entertainer along side Dick, everyone trying to tell embarrassing stories about Jason. Loud noises are coming from the hallway when they realize that neither Damian nor Danny had arrived.

Rushing out the door, the boys are alternating putting each other into choke holds and arguing about not being clones. Danny keeps phasing out of Damian’s grip and Damian keeps pulling out more knives. The hallway looks like it had been blown up and the two are continuing to yell at one another about going to a family dinner. Jason and Jazz just stare at them from the doorway, and wouldn’t you know it, they look like fucking twins.

Jazz grabs Danny, Jason grabs Damian, and everyone is fucking confused. Both sides of the family can confirm growing up with the twins, that neither are a clone. Ellie helpfully supplies that she’s the clone and that opens a whole other bag of chaos.

Eventually they get everyone to sit down for dinner and the night gets weirder from there.

In any case, I have a silly Au for y'all to munch on.

Allow me to introduce you all to Covalent Twins :]

Covalent

Adjective

- Relating to or denoting chemical bonds formed by the sharing of electrons between atoms.

Or in this case, the sharing of Emmet between 2 Ingos from different timelines NSNDNNDDD.

This Au is essentially the answer to the question: "doesn't being sent to the distant past inherently mean you are also now long dead in the future you just left?"

The answer is yes and no btw

The explanation for this involves a lot of time nonsense that I'm very bad at explaining but the Tldr is basically this:

When Ingo gets sent to the past, this creates a connection between the past and the future. This makes time get all fucky and split into two separate timelines (Timeline A and Timeline B)

Timeline A:

Time in this timeline runs parallel to the future as long as Ingo stays within it (essentially, if Ingo stays in the past for 2 years, then 2 years pass in the present).

Due to this connection, Akari (aka Dawn) gets sent to this timeline (But not Timeline B) and the game events of PLA play out (+ a lot more Ingo bonding because uncle Ingo supremacy)

Akari manages to get her and Ingo sent back home with the power of Arceus, causing both timelines to merge back together again into one cohesive line with only the events of Timeline B being remembered by history.

Ingo and Emmet get their happy ending.

This Ingo got sent to Hisui when he was 29, stayed there for 2 years, and went home when he was 31.

And Timeline B:

This timeline was created as a cannon fodder timeline so Akari and Ingo can keep doing time shenanigans in Timeline A without disturbing the space time continuum even more.

This timeline is therefore not connected to the future the same way Timeline A is.

The Ingo of this timeline (Nicknamed "War" or "Warden" for simplicity.) lives through the PLA game events but with Rei taking the place of Akari.

War doesn't bond with him the same way Ingo does with Akari because Rei isn't a faller.

The events of the game are the exact same (minus the Arc phone, Rei taking the place of Akari, and catching Arceus).

Despite Rei calming the nobles and catching Palkia and Dialga, he is still not the chosen hero. Warden is unable to go home or regain his memories.

Warden lives in Hisui and serves as a warden for the Pearl Clan for a total of 7 years before dying alongside his partner pokemon, Gliscor (nicknamed Nimbasa), while protecting Lady Sneasler from a Zoroark attack at the age of 36.

Warden drifts as a ghost for many years, with only Nimbasa the Gliscor as company. He watches his friends grow old, and eventually die. They pass on to the afterlife, but Warden stays on earth, wandering the Alabaster Icelands and Mount Coronet, searching for people from a life he can't remember even in death.

Warden watches as Hisui changes into Sinnoh. Jubilife Village becomes Jubilife City. Pokemon species die out and new ones are born.

As the world slowly becomes more and more familiar, the great Sinnohs, Palkia and Dialga, take pity on the lost warden, and decide together to lead him home.

It may take 150 years, and many miles of travel, but Warden is pulled by an unknown force towards the Unova region. Though he is unable to touch anything or speak to anyone, it's all so painfully familiar.

He is pulled towards Nimbasa city, (ah! That's where he got the name from!) and eventually to an apartment.

There, he is greeted by a young girl, barely 17. A man in black, who looks exactly like him, give or take a few years and a few scars.

And a smiling man in white. The man he has been searching for for over 150 years...

And they're staring at him, truly staring at him, not through him.

Why is the man in white crying?

I mean he's dead and also Ingo just 5 years older and from a different timeline but still!!!

DANNY PHANTOM X DC CROSSOVER, DEMON TWINS AU. PART 2.

A little bit about my take on Danyal for this AU:

When Danyal was still Danny Fenton, he managed to bring peace to Amity Park just in time for college. He studied Mechanical Engineering, which later lead him to specialize in aerospace engineering, all of this while he finally accepted his role as the high king of the infinite realms.

After turning fifty y.o. Danny realized that he wasn’t aging the same way most of his family and friends were doing, he still looked in his early thirties. He asked Clockwork about it. Turns out that since he is part ghost – a very powerful ghost – and also the king of the GZ, the ectoplasm and eldritch energy withing himself keep him from aging at a human pace, it will take him centuries before actually starting to show a single gray hair.

Long story cut short, after his talk with Clockwork, Danny finally decides to finally move to the infinite realms where he reigns for a very long time, turning the once chaotic land into a prosperous and flourishing place.

Yes, most of Danny’s family members and friends pass away and even thought they love Danny they decide to keep the cycle and reincarnate in another realm. Except Dani because she is also a half-a-ghost, but she doesn’t make an active appearance in this AU – this may change at some point? Idk -.

During the many millennia that Danny spends in the Ghost Zone his core evolves and at one point Danny becomes a new ancient, the one that represents Space.

Clockwork notices that Danny is depressed and nostalgic of his human life but his king cannot go back to the realms where Amity Park is, that realm is already settled and thriving, if the king goes back, they risk that realm to shatter, so the ancient of time starts to look for a realm where Danny can live a decent life without much worry.

Lady Gotham suggests her realm, Clockwork looks at the time line and it’s perfect.

Clockwork sells the idea to Danny by talking to him about the rivers of dirty ectoplasm that course Lady Gotham’s realm and that the city spirit requested for aid – Clockwork does want Danny to live a peaceful life but it is also truth that they have to do something about the League of Assassins and Ra Al-Ghul –.

Danny accepts Clockwork’s new mission and by following the cycle he reincarnates as Danyal Al-Ghul, but the realm where Danny has reincarnated is a cheeky one and the king gets his memories and powers blocked. That’s how Danyal spends eight years in the LoA clutches without a clue of what he is truly capable of.

After sacrificing himself – by pushing away Damian from the falling boulder –, and falling into the lake of Lazarus Water, his memories are freed by the eldritch energy of the Infinite Realms, this way Danyal remembering his past life as Daniel Fenton from Amity Park but also remembering that he is the High King of the Infinite Realms.

Danyal tries to go back. He has to tell Damian he is alive, he has to destroy Ra and free his brother from that monster, he has to gain control over the Lazarus Pits and destroy the LoA, he has to… but Clockwork stops him. His new human body is still too frail for his inmense power, if he goes back in that moment his core may crumble and all of his body with it – both the human and ghost one –, so he stays.

For six human years Danyal follows the gentle but strict training of Clockwork, Pandora and Frostbite. Soul wise he is ancient, power wise he is the one true ruler of all but mentally wise, and despite having the memories of his past life, he is still a child. Danyal knows that he is not Daniel Fenton anymore, even if their soul is the same, he knows that he and Danny are different individuals with very different lives, but the child recognizes a bit of Danny in himself – his desire to help others, his love for the stars and the cosmos, his loyalty –. Danyal decides to study his past life’s experiences and truly learn from what he sees and try to remember what Danny felt and how he can use his past life’s life lesson in his own life. Clockwork approves and allows his young ward to do so.

While in the Infinite Realms Danyal learns from Frostbite the healing craft, developing a desire to maybe one day study human medicine. He also reads all of his previous life’s engineering books and notes, which ended up with him once again bonding with Tecnus, which ended up with Danyal bonding with the others ghosts that were close friends with Danny.

Ember, Skulker, Kitty, Johnny, Tecnus, Dorathea, Point Dexter, Box Ghost, Lunch Lady, Youngblood, Wulf, Cujo and Dani – all of the ghost that directly interacted with Danny before – are beyond ecstatic when they learn that Danny had come back but then they discover that he is not their “Danny” anymore, so they take upon their ghostly hands to learn all about their friend once again.

Danyal’s new nickname is Baby Boo, even Youngblood and Luch Box call him that. Danyal does not appreciate this at the beginning. Danyal treats Dani as a relative and mentor; Dani is very weirded out by this at the beginning because that was Danny’s role and now it’s her responsibility that Danyal doesn’t do anything rash and ends up hurting himself. The observants are terrified of this new version of their king, Danyal knows how to direct one mean glare.

Danyal gets summoned by the JL via Constantine one good day while he was adding to his plan on “How to kill Ra, destroy the LoA, free Damian and get absolute claim and control over the Lazarus Pits”. He immediately feels Damian aura and when he finds his older brother – his only company during those horrible days at the LoA, his best friend, his better half – all tattered he cannot help the rightful rage that blooms in his core, so he yeets Darkside to the other side of the cosmos.

Danyal has two not human forms: the massive eldritch horror made out of galaxies – he can control his size –, and his default ghost form – which is different from Danny’s –.

Danyal’s default ghost form is not a hazmat suit but an assassin outfit.

Once Damian introduces Danyal to the batclan all goes well. Bruce is sad that another of his children died, especially because he died a fucking eight years old but he is resolute to give Danyal a safe and sane environment to grow, he is worried that his now youngest is actually the king of all supernatural and magical creatures but after meeting Pandora and Frostbite Bruce calms a little, knowing that Danyal has responsible adults to help and guide him reassures him a lot. Bruce is also very happy that Danyal wants to study medicine and become a doctor, just like his own father.

The batclan refers to Danyal as Dee (D), Dans, Danish, littlest bird and Ghostling – Dani also calls him Ghostling –. Most people only refer to Danyal as Phantom when he is in ghost form – by now is more like a title than his hero name, which still is –.

Danyal is not as prone to violence as Damian but his words cut as deep as his brother’s sword, but that doesn’t mean he won’t sucker punch you if you annoy him. He is just a bit calmer than his Damian.

Using forbidden magic, Kafka has altered various part of her body. Most notably are her ink claw and her augmented vocal cords. The ink claws are hollow inside and hold ink, allowing her to cast spells on the fly easily. The augmented vocal cords are a key component for her Spirit Whisper spell. Her voice is capable of speaking in a frequency that can only be heard by the spell's victim.

Kafka belongs to a group of Brim Hats called the Stelleron Hunters, who, true to their name, collect Stellerons.

Not much is known about stellerons, except that they are harbingers of disaster. Is they remnants from before the Day of the Pact? Perhaps ancient contraptions? Or maybe signs of divine wrath? Rumour has it that knowledge of it's true nature is only know by the Three Wise ...and the Stelleron Hunters.

While travelling on its usual route, the Express suddenly screeches to a halt. It's stuck. As the the crew members (Pom-Pom, Himeko, Welt, Dan Heng and March 7th) rush to the front to check what's wrong, the power goes out. Neon pink webs shoot up from the floor. Then, illuminated by the glowing webs, a woman with striking purple-pink eyes appears.

"Kafka." Himeko stands protectively in front of her fellow crew members, weapon at the ready.

"Relax, Astral Express." Kafka's smile curls up further but doesn't reach her eyes.

"I've brought gifts~"

DPx DC Au: Might as well be brothers. Young Justice hears about a regional hero disappearing, and while they've never met the guy, Red Robin's contacts say that Ra's is hunting him for afterlife/immortality related reasons.

Tim drake hates the annoying white uniform he's wearing but breaking into this place is crucial to his 24 hour plan to rescue Phantom. He'd never even heard of the guy until a week ago when Pru came to him with info that Ra's was looking into Midwest Real Estate, and then Tim stumbled down the rabbit hole of Ghost conspiracy theories until he saw an article demanding that local officials speak on the hero's absence of 10 days. 10 days was short enough that Tim might find a sign of life and well, another federal agency being hacked by Red Robin is nothing new.

So now, he's walking down the halls with these stupid fucking glasses and this stupid fucking suit while Kon listens from the comfort of the surveillance van. He takes a turn and sees the track suits that the illegally detained inmates are wearing, and pivoting the plan, makes his way to a locker room to get one and get changed. It does take him an extra second and he considers that this might bite him- but Tim knows the place inside and out. He's scoured all their data, and sue him for being cocky, but he has a literal alien ready to tear the place apart waiting for his heart rate to jump above 80 bpm. which is a pretty low heart rate all things considered.

Tim gets exactly where he's meant to go, and waits only a few minutes before he see's the science team extract Phantom from the high security room.

Phantom doesn't make it clear if he notices Tim, but he's basically being dragged by the couple, so Tim decides to beat them to their destination. The experimental wing had shown up in their reported data not long after they made it extremely obvious that they had Phantom in their data output.

Tim's already in the room when he starts to notice that it's not exactly a room... more like a mechanical space. The way the corners curl in the room make it almost tube like... Portal like.

Phantom is thrown in and Tim grabs him the second the scientists leave, but the kill switch key Tim made to get them out isn't working for this door like it did all the others.

"Not... Not a door."

"We're in some sort of device aren't we? Something of their own design that the government isn't aware they're funding?"

"Portal. You've gotta get out, even if you get caught, you gotta get out now."

Tim's comm comes alive in his ear, its Kon responding to Tim's heart rate rising- and Tim is hesitant to call him in but ultimately tells him to start flying over for extraction.

Then the portal goes off, and while he feels pain, he doesn't feel different. Bright light subsiding, Kon's arms around him with a confused voice, and lots of lasers being fired his way... Tim wakes up to see a much younger Phantom looking at him from the other side of the young justice couch.

Kon, Bart and Cassie are all fighting at a white board that's been wheeled in but Tim can only yawn and blink his way into consciousness enough to give a shit.

Black haired and blue eyed, button nosed with large ears, a wry thin lipped smile... Tim realizes that Phantom looks incredibly similar to his younger self. And then Tim looks at his much smaller hands and realizes that he probably looks a lot more similar to his younger self than normal.

Taking in the scenery once more, the white board is divided on the traits Tim has to the children sitting left and right on the couch. Kon didn't know who was who. That meant that maybe... the government didn't either.

Phantom turns out to be a pretty chill dude despite all the trauma, and he's incredibly prepared to both fuck with Ra's and the government in their newly found childhood twin-ship.

One of the twins is scarier than the other, and despite Danny literally haunting them, its always Tim.

danny and damian twin au, but it’s crack. :))

danny and damian get into being really competitive at a very young age in the league, and even on their very rare off time they secretly played games, even if they often got out of hand, nobody ever seemed to care so long as they were improving.

during one of their first missions, it’s starting to go really bad, and damian figures it out before danny. he makes up a game of hide and seek, and danny scrambles off to look for a hiding spot while damian does the same, except he knows it’s because there’s someone after them. by the time backup arrives and the threat is taken care of, the only thing they’re able to find is a scrap of cloth and a splatter of danny’s blood.

eight years later, the two lock eyes in a gotham alleyway while danny tries to drag an unconscious mugger through a wall.

“oh dang. i guess i lost hide and seek than.”

“danny??? where have you been, it’s been eight years?!?!”

nobody ever challenges danny to hide and seek again after that.
