Angsty post canon concept:

When Allura dies what if the Altean magic she used on Shiro and Lance weakens and that's how ppl find out Lance also died?

Both Lance and Shiro start with symptoms they can ignore and ones doctors brush aside. They get told it's fatigue, they get told it's after effects from fighting In the war like they had for all that time. Neither realize it all starts after Alluras death.

Then they end up with things unexplainable. Things like extreme full body tremors, sudden extreme chills and are icy cold to the touch no matter the temperature. Their bodies ache in the ways they had in their deaths but neither man admits it out loud too afraid of what that might mean so neither is aware they aren't alone is this bizarre and sudden turn of events.

It's not until Lance collapses and is rushed to the Garrison hospital that they discovered it something more.

His body deteriorating from the inside out seen visibly from their newest high tech scans. Rotting, closing down, slowing or lacking proper function like his body has given up. Like his body is referring backwards to lack of life but no one knows why.

It's almost like its frying itself from the inside out, it's path crawling closer and closer to his heart with every passing day like bolts of electricity pulsing more and more upward.

Shiro is the first to realize what it means once Lance is finally giving the symptoms they'd had to pry out of him. He realizes with dread that his fellow paladin has things that match up too close to his own.

He only realizes bc he's felt similar things, only his resemble his own death and he knows for a fact its thinfs in Excruciating pain, a pain he thought no one but himself would ever understand.

To get lance to admit what happened Shiro goes through the scans himself to prove his point. No one enjoys hearing Lances story, Allura hadn't even known she was capable of what she'd done to him So he's worse off than Shiro is and terrified of the idea of dying again this slowly

both get taken to an off planet hospital, one that could preserve their symptoms until the rest of their team and families could find a way to heal them

But without Alluras alchemy No one knew what to do.

First they try talking to the alteans on new altea but none have any knowledge of the alchemy allura had used for them

Then the team spreads out

Pidge uses her ranking in her field to gain any and all database information she can get her hands on

Hunk uses his connections To the Balmera and other species to attempt to find any information on healing abilities that might help

Keith is the most successful, the man he loves and his brother are dying and he wouldn't accept that one bit

He sends all the Blades willing to look for any possible Leads and anyone who might know anything about healing magic or alchemy

Keith is the one who comes across one of haggars old druids, one well versed in altean alchemy and one bitter at what had become of the craft

She had understood, to a degree, what Allura had done to Save both men

She had tied their life force to her own to ground them back to this plane of existence and now that she's no longer tied to one universe her connection has faded and so has theirs

"You must tie them to another life to keep them but this practice is taboo. If this next life dies they will with it."

Keith doesn't hesitate for a moment "just tell me what to do and I'll do it."

He ends up tying Lances life force to his own, Lance so sickly he didn't get a choice and Keith apologizes the entire way

He combs fingers through lances thinned hair hoping it brought any comfort to the man that had no energy to even stay awake anymore "you can be as angry as you want after this, as long as you survive I don't care anymore..."

Shiros husband does the same for Shiro

They know it's worked when their bodies stop dying and start to finally try to heal.

The damage so extensive they both spend months in newly crafted healing pods that do everything to try to reverse it.

Both come out whole, alive and maybe a little worse for wear than before All this took place.

But no one cares so long as they stay alive.

And, if when Keith tells lance what he'd done to save him, Keith earns a strict slap to the face for his recklessness that's followed by a gentle kiss.

Well, no one says a word.

I was actually thinking about this a lot but like as an add on to your humans are hylian space orcs thing. I am in ✨need✨ of reader trying potions. Like;

"This potion will restore your stamina and boost your strength"

"Buddy that's just coffee"

"Qué?"

Even worse if when the reader tries it it's just like the most not strong coffee they've ever drank. Makes the guys wonder wtf makes humans need so much energy through out the day.

this is such a cute idea, i love how diet diffs/energy diffs in humans are space orcs aus, so genius to apply to hylians

the stamnia boost potion tastes just like instant coffee with powdered creamer (the kind at like car dealerships/shitty offices where its not even a little liquid creamer)

and u spit that shit out like wtf is this bs

and Four, poor guy who gave you some after talking a break from walking, is like "oh my goddess r u allergic?? can still breath???"

meanwhile ur like. "yeah this just tastes like shit-"

four: "oh well yeah, all potions do really-"

you: "-ty coffee. this is nowhere near strong enough to get me back on my feet ffs"

four: " 👁️👄👁️"

cue u researching how to make stamnia potions, across the hyrules, and making them 10x stronger so theyre like an actual coffee shop kind of coffee, and the Links are literally lowkey scared

Time forbids you (and the rest of the guys) from letting anyone else try ur "improved" elixir (s)

bc yes, u didnt stop at stamnia

u moved on to healing potions, (u can now regrow limbs and heal broken bones, the hylians can only take like a 1/16th of a sip like once a week, whereas u chug the whole thing, and can do so multiple times a day if needed)

u also moved onto cooking, bc rlly how different is cooking from alchemy?

and goron spice tasted like goddamn dorito chips, so u used essence of literal lava to help make it more spicy,

ur not allowed to introduce this new spice to the gorons, Wild forbid, bc he was adventurous enough (and snuck behind Time and ur backs) to try some spice

(he literally touched the tip of his pinky finger to it, wiped it off, except for 1 like flake of spice too)

and it lowkey nearly killed him 💀

like had to use that 1/16th of ur extra strong healing potion and everything

u felt so bad, but he did do this to himself,

and Wild knew the gorons dont back down from a challenge, esp since it was originally their recipe, so he (and you) didnt wanna kill them on accident

the sleeping potion u found is just like taking a single melatonin gummy, so u ofc make that thing knock even you out after 2 sips,

needless to say, no one is trying that one, not only bc it knocked Rulie unconcious for 12 hours straight (u got him to try it after he exhausted all his magic healing, and so no nightmares)

but bc it knocked u out cold for 9. that was the scarier part to them lmao, was how affected is their human by this?

i like to think thats how they judge unknown foods and liquids too,

like "do you think this tastes unseasoned? ok should be perfect for me then" - every Link

"oh this didnt make u feel sleepy at all/barely tired? great, id love to knock out cold w/no nightmares tonight" - Sky, probably

"this tastes like that thing you call, instant cough? ko-fee? Cool, give me some i need to run up this mountain" - Wild, for the 3rd time this month probably

"this barely healed ur papercut? sweet, give me some my wrists are killing me" - poor Legend, he uses ur extra strength healing potion as a way to treat his arthritis regularly once a month, but the more chill potions for any leftover aches and pains, esp after long fights being hard on his arms

Chain is simultaneously still lowkey terrified u need that much extra oomf, esp when u run out of stronger stuff and have to down like 5 health potions to heal a cut that needed stitches,

and also worried u need that much and also Wild/Wars/Rulie tend to work overtime to make sure they have extra potions for you

and theyre also kind of impressed, bc hey, youre unlikely to get magically poisoned/potion poisoned like them

Hehe~ Can I request siren!dabi except he’s not actually a siren, just a misunderstood merman with a dark past, and a blue-black ombré tail that glistens in the light, and shiny eyes the color of the deep sea, and flowing hair that he wishes to cut but he can’t bc reader said they loved his hair and it has magical properties like rapunzel and everyone is incredibly jealous so they lock him away in the reefs but reader was out diving one day and ran into him but he denied their help, so reader goes out to confront his father and faces 3 challenges to help him bc reader now loves him apparently, so reader defeats sea monsters the size of the ones in One Piece and they met Ursula who granted them devil fruit powers as well bc why not, but reader is really injured and lost 3/4 blood, a leg, an arm, 37 fingernails, and all of their eyelashes but still swam back to dabi somehow through willpower and plus ultra, and dabi takes one look at them and goes ‘wow you hurt yourself like this for me? I think I love you’ but by then reader is all passed out and dying but through the power of love and all that bullshit, dabi heals reader with true loves kiss but in the process loses all his hair cuz fuck it, and they both were banished from the underwater kingdom for being ugly af monsters but that’s ok bc they have each other and the friends reader made along the way and more sappy crap and they also have about 100 kids like in finding nemo? Not too specific right? You can work out the minor details <3

Nozel Silva

It was the one thing he dreaded the most; because that was how he lost his mother. His mother died protecting them and now, you had left him because of your child too.

Why? He constantly questioned himself. He constantly questioned god. Why does he have to lose people that were dear to him. People that he could feel safe with and open up his heart to.

It took him a long time to finally open up to someone and love someone. Only for him to lose you in the worst way possible.

For days, he wouldn't eat. He would only barely drink. He held onto your child and stared at them, staring at whatever resemblance they had of you.

It took him a long time to walk out of grieve. And truth to be told. He never got over you. He never really healed completely.

He would be fiercely over protective to your child, for he could never bear to lose anyone dear again.

As your child grew up, initially, they detested their father for being fierce and stubborn towards them. They barely had any freedom, their meals were planned by the best nutritionist, they had a personal trainer to make sure they were in the best of health.

Nozel refused to let them be a magic knight. They refused to let them do any work that was unsafe. In his thoughts, he was fine for them to just live off him for the rest of their life. If he could, he would lock them up, so he would never lose them just like he lost his mother and wife.

It wasn't until someone around him (fuegoleon, dorothy, solid or nebra) knocked him to his senses and told him that he was hurting them instead of protecting them.

Nozel barely spoke of you. It always hurt. Thinking of you was painful, he always felt like he couldn't breathe as his mind flashed to memories of you. Your smiles, your laughter, your scent, your voice. What used to be lovely memories became a nightmare to him, for everytime he reminisced about the times he had with you, he had to come back to a huge and empty bed without you.

Fuegoleon Vermillion

Fuego was always a very strong willed and responsible man. Even when his wife passed away because of childbirth, he only took time off for your funeral and he returned to work after that.

He would give the best things to his children. Everything that they wanted. It was difficult to explain why their mother was gone. But he did it the best that he could and as honestly as they could understand.

He wouldn't blame them nor will he let them blame on themselves. He would try his best to hide his grief and continue being positive and strong for them.

But there were days when he looked at them, and saw you in them. Like how they loved to have a certain habit like you did, and how a certain trait of them was just like yours, he couldn't help but miss you even more.

Sometimes when he held them or put them to sleep, a tear cannot help itself but roll down the corner of his eyes.

He would try to give them both a fatherly and motherly love. Being there for them as much as he could as they grew up. Teaching them their homework, playing with them, helping them do small things like tying their hair, or wearing their shoes.

He would still let his children do whatever they wanted but he would definitely tag along if they were doing anything dangerous. Hell, he would try to follow them around even though they were just heading out actually, to make sure your children don't come to any harm's way.

When would constantly think about what you would do for the kids if you were still here, and sometimes beat himself up for not being a good mother like you were.

He never actually walks out from the pain of losing you. He constantly talks about you with your kids and always remind them of how great of a mother and person you were.

William Vangeance

William would be overwhelmed with sorrow and anguish. For days he would hold onto your baby and cried, until Julius and Yami had to pull him out of it for the sake of the baby.

He tried coming back to work but he just could not focus and would constantly space out and have tears in his eyes.

His members wanted to tell him to take a break, but at the same time they knew that him coming back to work was the best for everyone since there was someone that could keep an eye on him.

He would constantly still talk about you, as if you were still around, and people around him knew better than you tell him the truth, so they just played along with whatever he said.

As time passed and the pain slowly subsided and he was more aware of what was going on, he carried on his captain duties but he also brought the baby to work with him.

He wanted to personally care for the child and bring them up. He didn't want your child to feel any less loved and if he could he wanted to give them extra love and everything they needed or wanted.

He always gave them the best of everything; clothes, food, schools. He also made sure to teach them life values and also personally train them to fight.

He doted on them and barely scolded them. He tries his best to be by their side throughout. From school events to parent meetings. He still keeps your photo on his beside table and he speaks to you daily. He asks whether you're proud of him and your child. He asks how you are up in heaven and whether he'll get to meet you again. He promises to protect and nurture your child as long as he lives.

When your kids asks about you, he would tell them the truth. Because he felt that they needed to know how much their mother sacrificed a for both of them. But they would also tell their child that it was not their fault that this has happened. It was just fate. As much as he hated to say it, he didn't know a better word than fate. Maybe you were an angel in disguise and had fulfilled your duty on Earth, therefore it was time to return.

He could only tell that to you and your child. Because that was the best explanation there could be.

Ok so I need to know: Are Kit and Ty together??? Because Im not sure if its a completely fanmade shipping, if they just havent found each other but are in love with each other or if they are canon together

I hope you're not planning on reading tda, cause the whole answer is gonna be spoilers, or more like, everything thats happened with them, so yeah same thing.

Okay so, it's not a fan made ship but also they aren’t together yet.

So this got long and you probably didn't want this long of an answer but I can't stop when it's KitTy.

They both are introduced in the first book itself, but Kit doesn't have a main role until the second book. Ty Blackthorn, who is Julian's (main character of tda) brother, is totally interested in solving mysteries and crimes (he's a fan of Sherlock Holmes!) but nothing that major happens in LA.

[Bit of a backstory, Blackthorns are 7 siblings because I can't remember if you've read tmi, Helen and Mark are half siblings to the rest and they are part faerie but due to a war where faeries betrayed the shadowhunters, Helen was exiled and Mark was kidnapped even before the war, so the shadowhunter government just decided to not search for him. So any contact from faeries has now been cut off and Julian (who was 12 yrs old) has to take care of all his siblings.]

So in Lady Midnight, when an offer comes from faerie to give Mark back in exchange for finding a serial killer, they all take it up. And Ty who is a Sherlock Holmes fan is all intent on trying to help in finding the killer. N Kit’s father is a shady guy who apparently knows lots of things so when Emma and Julian go to Kit’s dad to try find some info, Ty sneaks into the basement where Kit is hiding while his father is doing business. Now for the only scene of KitTy in Lady Midnight, Ty puts a knife to Kit’s neck and Kit’s first thought at looking at this all happen is “How beautiful”. I think many of us started shipping them together since that one scene. So after that, stuff happens and Kit finds out, by the end of book 1 that he is a shadowhunter, (n he loathes shadowhunters ) Lost Herondale who everyone (except for couple of people who found him) thought that that branch of Herondale family is dead.

So, here’s Kit, he just saw his father die in front of him, found out that he is a shadowhunter, people who he dislikes a lot, and all alone in an Institute with strangers. He locks himself inside a room. N Ty sits on the other side of the door so that Kit doesn't feel alone.

After a while, when Kit starts to come out of his room, Ty asks him to become his Watson. Kit doesn't say anything to that but that's one of my favourite parts. So they all (Ty, Livvy n Kit) go on little missions together. Now there's this one part when Livvy gets severely injured and Ty feels guilty because Livvy asked him to be parabatai with her many times but he always refused because the place where he wanted to study, there you can't have a parabatai. N rn when Livvy is injured, he feels guilty bc Livvy would have healed sooner if she had a parabatai. So then, Kit n Ty go to the roof and they hug. (I fangirl over the smallest of things)

So again storyline goes on, nothing other than that happens between them until the 3rd book. So what happened is Livvy died in the end of the 2nd book. That impacted Ty a lot. Livvy was like the only person who understood Ty. N when Livvy dies, he feels really alone.

BUT now he's intent on bringing her back. He asks Kit to help him, Kit says that it's not a good idea but he goes along with Ty bc if he doesn't, Ty would do it alone and maybe there's a chance that Kit can convince him not to until the time Ty finds all the stuff he needs for necromancy.

Ty somehow manages to acquire everything and a day before a major war, he wakes up Kit and convinces Kit to come with him to the Lake Lyn where they would do the necromancy.

Now, during the necromancy, it's obviously sinister and Kit still doesn't want to help in it. He again tries to stop Ty and he tells Ty that he isn't alone and that everyone in his family loves him and they are all going to be there for him n that he's there too.

N that's when Kit tells Ty that he loves him.

"I love you Ty, I love you." (that quote lives in my mind all the time hehe)

Then Ty almost stops but then he continues on with necromancy. When Livvy's ghost appears, even Livvy says that necromancy was a bad idea n apparently one of the ingredients that he got was corrupted so she couldn't have been brought back physically n only her ghost was brought back. Ty tells her to stay, in her ghost form n says "There's nothing here without you." Or some variation of that, I can't remember rn.

N Kit is there in the background looking at the guy he just confessed to and probably the only person he's ever said 'I love you' to, say that there is nothing without Livvy, feels heartbroken n that Ty doesn't love him.

Now, what Ty said about the being nothing shouldn't be a big deal because he loves his sister a lot n of course he is going to feel alone but Kit is an orphan, he doesn't remember his mother n his father was a shitty guy. So Kit makes a big deal out of it.

The next day during the battle, they weren’t allowed to go to the battle (even though Ty wanted to join but Magnus tied them to a tree through magic on Julian’s orders). So they both were angry with each other n at one point Kit says that he wished he never met Ty. Now Ty is autistic, and he believes the things the way they are said so that’s the start of their angsty ending in tda.

So anyways, Livvy’s ghost comes at that moment, frees both of them from the tree n they go to join the battle, Ty climbs a tree n by the time he checks on Kit Emma had seen Kit n took him away cause she was told to keep Kit safe.

N then there’s another plot twist, its found that Kit is not only the Lost Herondale but a Heir to the Faerie crown which he doesn’t want. But if people find out its him, they’re going to be after him to kill him. So, Tessa and Jem (who had found him at first ) ask him if he wants to live with them in Devon. N Kit, feeling depressed n rejected says yes. And he says to leave asap n he doesn’t want to say goodbye to anyone.

It wouldn’t have that heartbreaking but some points of their actions toward each other are so sweet.

Like Ty doesn’t look into someone’s eyes but he looked at Kit. N Kit, he didn’t cry ever in the book, even when his only family died but he did when Ty didn’t reply to his i love you.

Now, they’re going to have their own trilogy, The Wicked Powers. Which is gonna be published no time soon :/

Personal opinion: I’m glad they didn’t get together in tda because both of them have their own traumas over which they need to work out.

So, yeah, that’s the whole story.

ty for the ask rhys!! sorry for taking so long to answer it but i hope u still enjoy!!

they are PEAK enemies to friends to lovers i am weak for this trope this i cannot help

when they first meet they hate each other because mikah is trying to fulfil a mercenary contract out on dorian. long story short dorian finds out who hired mikah, mikah joins the good guys, blah blah they hate each other less blah blah they fall in love i’m still working out the details ok

dorian realizes he likes mikah first. they’re in the middle of a fight and mikah pushes dorian out of the way, getting himself nicked by a dagger in the process. of course dorian’s worried about him, but after the fight’s over and he realizes it’s just a little scratch he just kinda looks at mikah like “huh.” mikah thinks dorian hit his head or something bc he is an oblivious cinnamon roll.

cue the shameless flirting. once dorian knows how he feels about somebody, he acts on it. he just doesn’t see the point in waiting. it takes awhiiiillllee (they are a heckin slowburn y’all they got a lot to process) but mikah does return the feelings. and when he does he’s definitely the kind of guy that would be like “oh. . . Oh.”

once they are finaaally together, they are the most obnoxiously adorable couple in the entire world. handholding 24/7 (yes, even in battle are u kidding), lots of forehead kisses and dopey smiles, all that soppy shit that i’m weak for.

mikah looooves sailing, and wants to teach dorian all about it. initially dorian hates it, he’s never liked the ocean and how it makes him feel out of control. but once he sees how happy, how calm, mikah is he kinda falls in love with it. after that they go sailing all the time!

fun fact: mikah hates the color of his eyes. dorian absolutely loves them and tells him so as often as he can.

u kno that tumblr post that’s like “whatchu say bout me? hold my flower” that’s them. mikah’s holding the flower sayin “go kick his ass, sweetie!”

another fun fact: mikah loves fresh bread. like a freakish amount. so sometimes when dorian wants to surprise him he’ll get up super early, go to the baker’s, and get the first few rolls of bread to come out of the oven. then he’ll creep back home and wake mikah up to the smell of fresh bread. mikah teared up the first time he did it because he was genuinely surprised that someone would go that far out of their way just to get him something he likes.

despite dorian’s carefree attitude, he is a massive worrywort when it comes to mikah. he finally starts to get why tov worries about him all the time. especially afer the time mikah puts himself in danger for dorian and gets nicked, dorian just wants to protect him. so in his free time he starts learning little healing magic tricks from vanna, and tips for cleaning up wounds from tov and daisy.

he also tries to learn how to bake bread. if you saw my last post on dorian, you can probably guess that with his horrendous cooking skills this did not go well. mikah thought it was cute though, after the fire was put out anyways.

Tomura was currently not hiding behind the couch; he was strategically crouching and avoiding, actually.

So, he’d been cursed. Their little guild of thieves and murderers had been attacked, and he’d gotten in the line of fire of a particularly skilled and spiteful witch. The stupid hag had declared ‘He who hates all cannot break the curse until he loves, realized the love, and seals the love with a kiss! That alone can break the curse!’

So. He’d been cursed in the most inconvenient way for him personally; corny as hell and unrealistic. Removing the witches head from her neck hadn’t broken the curse like he’d expected, his rot touch doing nothing to stop the hot pulse in his blood, the tell-tale, white hot pain of a curse.

And sure, he’d been cursed before; this one was nasty, too intricate for him to untwine himself with his own black magic. His magic carried the death aura; it wasn’t a healing touch, it could only destroy.

He’d asked Sako about it, but the man had scoffed, declaring he was an illusionist, not a wizard or warlock. Magic was magic, wasn’t it?

Toga was into blood magic, and knew a lot about love, and how to work with it alongside black magic- but she shrugged. She said wasn’t a healer.

Dabi’s pyromancy would be useless; Twice’s doubling illusions didn’t even enter his mind. And neither did Spinner, because he couldn’t even use magic; sure, he was a strong fighter, but-

His head hit the underside of the abandoned tavern’s bar, alerting Shuichi to his location. He cursed.

“Dude, come on!”

“It’s not just a kiss to break it, I’ve said that already!” Besides, with his death aura, if anyone kissed him they’d probably die, right? “The hag said I have to love someone, and I don’t really love anyone!”

“But you like the league,” He pointed out. “So any of us could work, we don’t know until we try!” Spinner threw a toned arm against the wall, blocking the exit. “C’mon, I don’t want you to die, so I’m saying I don’t mind!”

“How generous,” He slipped under his arm, ignoring the indignant squawk. “No.”

“Really?! We need you!”

“Obviously, but I’m not going to die. I’ve almost died lots of times. We’ll break this curse. Besides, you probably suck at kissing. Have you ever even kissed anyone?”

“That’s- that’s rude.” He didn’t answer the question. “I just wanna help, man.”

And it would be inconvenient if he died; so what the hell? They were alone in the tavern anyway. He didn’t want it to seem like he wasn’t willing to try, and like hell he was flustered or something.

“Fine.”

As many quests as they’d been on, Shigaraki had never even stopped to consider things like ‘romance’ or ‘kissing’; those were things reserved for normal peasants who needed more hands in the field, and royalty who had no say in who they married; Romance was a tool to sire the next generation of aristocrats and workers.

To say he had a cynical view about the subject was an understatement, but he thought it was realistic. A fairy tale, to ensure the population didn’t plummet. It had it’s purpose, even if it was a lie.

“Fine? Oh, uh,” Shuichi slicked his hair back; there was a visible sheen of sweat on his face and on the pads of his palms. “Right, let’s do it!”

“Don’t make a big deal about it,” He snorted; but his own heart twitched, and his breath hitched. “And don’t regret it if there’s any side effects.”

“Nah, I won’t.” The other man’s voice was quieter. Their faces got closer, and…

They touched lips. Their noses bumped awkwardly, neither of them even shutting their eyes, or moving to- god forbid- open their mouths. After a moment, when he felt Shuici’s hot breath huff on his face, he pulled away.

“Well. That was stupid.”

“I was trying!” At least he seemed to be embarrassed; Shigaraki could barely tear his eyes away from him, amusement bubbling up.

“Maybe we should try again; I still feel the curse.”

“Shit, stop teasing me! I’m going to go to the library and look into it!” He practically ran away; wasn’t that interesting?

He tilted his head, and thought about it. It was a pretty bad kiss.

So why’d be wanna try again?

So he kept thinking about how Shuichi’s embarrassed face looked, and his own pride being at stake; besides, it was kind of sweet how loyal the dragonic knight was, willing to kiss his leader to help lift a curse.

“Hey, how are you? Is the curse..does it hurt?” A few days had past. All of them had been busy, looking into fixing it in their own ways; Spinner’d just gotten back from a binge at the library, and after pouring over the tombs, had admitted he couldn’t find a solution yet.

“Yeah, not too different from normal.” It had faded in the background, like a hazy filter of constant pain, and he’d gotten used to it. It hurt, but he hurt pretty often anyway. Even if he was slowly dying, wasn’t that always the case?

“Hey, kiss me again.”

Shuichi sputtered, nearly spilt the drink he was holding, and looked at him with moon-sized eyes.

“What?”

“I wanna try again; don’t you think it sucked the first time?”

“Seriously, fuck you man.” Shuichi was mad? He frowned. He’d known he’d been a shut in before joining them, did he think he was honestly teasing him?

“No, I wasn’t kidding. It’s distracting, I keep thinking about it.”

“...What, about the curse? We already-”

“No, about kissing you.” And he moved from his perch on the couch, putting a hand on the end of it and leaning over him. “As pushy as you were the first time, you don’t wanna now?”

“That’s- I…” Shuichi blinked. “You want to kiss me?”

“You don’t want to? I can do better.” he was determined to.

Shuichi’s eyes flickered to his lips, then back to his eyes. It was so quiet he could hear him gulp down saliva. “Sure I do.” He mumbled. “But it’s just a game to you. Ever since our last battle, when you were talking about how you’d show us that beautiful horizon, I wanted to, but it’s not..I’m your knight.”

“Since when,” He asked, slowly licking his lips. “ Since when do we follow the usual rules of the heroic guilds? What’s inappropriate for them is the norm for us; we have no honor, so don’t do acting noble now. Besides, remember what I said back then?”

“What did you say?” It was whispered, and Shuichi was looking so desperately at him that Tomura’s heart almost stopped completely.

“I said the wishes of my comrades were the only thing I wouldn’t destroy; they’re my wishes, too. So if there’s something you want, it’s my job to make sure you get it.”

“I can’t break your curse.” Shuichi broke the gaze. “I can’t-”

“I wasn’t asking you to; I just want you to do what you want.”

Shuichi hesitated, and was painfully gentle when he finally reached up, ran his claws through Tomura’s hair, and pulled him lower, closing the distance.

“Don’t regret any of the side effects.” Shuichi echoed his own words, softly.

“Like the witch said, I can’t love anyone, so I’ll be fine,” He tilted his head, and closed his eyes, and felt a glow, warm across his chest, bloom like a flower.

He let his hands drift on Shuichi’s face, with care not to use five fingers. He’d never been this close to anyone; he felt like he had a fever, like he was melting.

When he pulled away, Shuichi’s eyelashes fluttered open. He was left breathless; Was this what he’d been wishing for?

How long had he wanted to kiss him back and hadn’t realized? He’d been jealous of the devotion the knight had had towards the blood rogue Stain, and wanted that, selfishly, to be on him; maybe he’d wanted it for a while, after all. Maybe he wanted more. Maybe...

The dull throb of the curse had faded, and he laughed to spite the witch, and because it felt euphoric to realize he wasn’t born solely from hate, but could also…

“S-Shigaraki?” Shuichi avoided his gaze. “Stop laughing, I actually tried this time-”

“You did fine; but I’m not happy with it.” He hummed. “I don’t like it if I’m not the best at it, so we have to again. Even if the curse was broken.”

“What?! I- I broke it?! Then- you-” Shuichi turned an adorable shade of pink, turning away. “What the hell, you can’t just- I gotta go!” A little spurt of fire blew out of his nostrils, making the room smell like smoke.

He let him run out again, knowing full well he’d be back. And he fell back on the couch, grinning at the ceiling alone, heart racing, face hot.

Maybe Spinner was his horizon; beautiful, destructive, and bright. And Tomura?

Tomura loved him.

well its better than the circle! hes kinda overwhelmed bc of all the being outside the circle for the first time stuff ON TOP OF all these gray warden responsibilities thrown at him but he handles it pretty well and still prefers fighting the darkspawn to being trapped in the circle

7. What was their usual team to take into battle. Why?

alistair - front line attack + gayleliana - long range but can switch to blades to protect him closer + big sister figuresten - STRONKwould tag team leliana out for zev or morrigan, and swap sten out for oghren or wynne. especially wynne after he became an arcane warrior. i dont like counting the dog as a party member during fics and stuff so Barkspawns in the team like 90% of the time cause hes usually with emmen, alistair, or sten

8. What was their weapon/magic of choice. Why?

he starts off as a spirit healer- he was kinda worried w being blind that he was more likely to hurt someone if he did offense magic, and that hes better just like in the back of the group. plus he likes helping people. he can do a little bit of all the generic stuff, like all mages, but aside from the healing junk he does a lot of ice/snow based magic

then he also specializes in becoming an arcane warrior and he loves it, feels like hes doing more to be useful. he still is a very valuable healer, just also likes to fight

11. What major decisions did they make for the game. Elaborate on why.

1. Your first OC ever?

TECHNICALLY my first OC ever was a dragon called Jenna lol. She was basically a rip-off of Spyro tho so idk if you would count her....

My first developed and original OC was Braxous tho! His name wasn’t Braxous back then tho it was Broken. Edgy boy.

5. If you could make only one of your OCs popular/known, who would it be?

Tbh as much as I thirst for people to like my OCs and stuff I am Scared TM at the same time... bc we all know that popular characters kinda get hmmm twisted is the best term I can think of.

I can’t think of a character I would like popular or known tbh bc in general I’d like all of them popular and known... but if I HAD to chose one I’d say Iarilan I guess? She’s a good role model I think....

10. Introduce an OC with a complicated design?

OH GOD it’s probably a tie between Ry and the new beast Xero design.

Ry just. Four arms. Four wings. Long legs w inhuman feet. Two tails. Galaxy skin. Claws. Five eyes. Curly hair. Pointed ears. A flat face with a mouth full of fangs. Can be any size. Almost perfectly symmetrical. Yeah his design is kinda tough.

I think the future beast Xero or his real form will take the cake tho. He has a ruffle of feathers around his neck, more smaller feathers all across his back, four wings, five dragon-like tails, spikes down his spine that can fold up or down, small red spots under the feathers that can spark and make his entire back and wings catch alight with fire.

Not to mention stick out ears, multiple horns on his head and jaw, black and gold scales on his arms and legs, gold claws, fangs, white pupils, a thick tuft of fur covering his sheath and between his legs

AND THEN on top of ALL THAT You have his chain markings and mating marks.

God. Yeah. Xero’s real form just. Takes the cake in complicated designs. LMAO. And me and Angel are still designing him and knowing us we may make him even more complicated OOPS so!

Dustin and Ophiel can both sing! Dustin sings alone and well... spoilers~ I think he’d be an alto tho.

Ophiel used to be part of god’s choir and a lot of her powers from from her music. Her singing is magical and she mainly uses it to heal others! She has a beautiful voice and is a soprano!

Some other OCs I have sing too... but they arent good at it lol and mainly just sing along to songs and stuff.

25. The OC that resembles you the most (same hobby, height, shared like/dislike for something etc?)

Dustin for sure lmao. Height, weight, some hobbies?? Tbh I sprinkle some of myself across all my OCs but Dustin resembles me most.

Tho I can’t code, am not quite a meme lord like him, like different games and music than him, and can’t sing. Lol.

A lot of my characters have siblings actually! Lynn is Kenneth’s sister, Krystle is Dustin’s sister, Zeke has a brother named Marc who is... great tbh, Ophiel has a LOT of siblings like 5 of them, Ty has two brothers who she hates, Caleb has a sister named Dannah, and I think that’s actually about it! Gabe also has siblings but they aren’t really named or present.

40. Any fond memories linked to your characters? Feel free to share!

Uh... I guess when I first made them counts? And when I wrote stuff about them... completing my first novel which was for Counting Stars counts as well I think... ye that’s about it. I’m always fond of my OCs so every memory and thought I have w them is special!

Hm... not really. But I have been thinking about cutting characters that I currently have so :x

Rather than cutting characters, I tend to combine them or just re-purpose them for something else. There are prob tons of minor characters I don’t use anymore... and ofc all the super old OCs I made when I was a little kid... who I don’t even remember... but I don’t count them :P

I switched to demon hunter when BfA came out because my guild needed to bring the 5% magic damage debuff and I was struggling to find a class/spec I actually enjoyed playing after they removed ranged survival and didn’t give any sort of second-best substitute. It’s now been sixteen months and I’m beginning to get incredibly frustrated with my DH—I like her as an alt, but I feel incredibly constrained by her aesthetically because the pool of warglaive or warglaive-like appearances is so tiny (and isn’t likely to grow very much any time soon). It’s dumb that that’s the kind of thing that can tilt me as hard as it’s been tilting me, but I’ve basically exhausted the appearance pool at this point.

Anyway I told my raid leader that I’d give him a concrete decision on what I was doing for 8.3 by the end of the year, which means I have to figure out what, if anything, I’m going to main switch to. The big problem is that getting raid-ready at this point takes significantly more time and effort than it ought to at this point in the expansion, because there are no catch-up mechanics for the 8.2 Azerite Essences, and 8.3 isn’t actually going to help with that as far as I can tell (it’s lowering the rep requirement for two of the essences, but isn’t lowering the time or specialized currency requirements for most of the others). Artifact knowledge helps with unlocking the slots and the 3% stamina bonuses and that’s in a good position, but unfortunately that means nothing when you’ve got nothing to put into those slots in the first place.

So I need to go through and figure out what I’m doing, and since I’m going in circles in my head about it I figured I ought to actually go long form on this MFer. This is... going to be long, probably. I don’t know if it’ll even help. Let’s find out, I guess.

Shaman (elemental focus): + Hybrid (melee, ranged, healer) + One-spec hybrid (no expectation of having to know, gear up, and play both DPS specs the way a mage would) + Mentioned specifically as a thing we could use (ele) + Decent transmog pool (+KT heritage if race changed) - Still has a lot of baggage from when she was my main TBC-MoP - Resto not a fun or intuitive offspec - Condensed Life Force and Blood of the Enemy essentially required (multi-week raid + battlegrounds PvP) for ele - Turret caster (not my preferred playstyle)

Druid (all four specs viable to varying degrees): + Hybrid (melee, ranged, tank, healer) + Best possible offspecs (resto druid has a long history of being good to me in 5-man content, guardian makes sense and meshes well) + Long history and great library of fantastic transmog options with matchable weapons (both 1h and 2h) + Could also be a KT if I really wanted to give up shadowmeld (which is a v tall ask, but y’know) + Currently actually has my name on Skywall (no more having to stop and think before calling something out bc my character name isn’t the name I go by nonsense) - Balance is incredibly unintuitive to play and makes me feel real dumb real fast - Feral is also really not super great (and is melee, and severely limits mog options due to the way the legion artifact cat skins works) - We already have four in raid (one feral, two balance, one resto); would be very obvious very quickly that I’m the weakest link + Vision of Perfection isn’t as good as CLF for balance but only just barely and would at least be an acceptable stopgap while the incredibly long CLF acquisition period happened

Warlock: - Pure DPS (queues and group finder for catch-up, leveling, or maintenance going to be long with no option to play something less fun for less time investment) + Survivable in solo content (ty voidwalker) + Versatile(ish) playstyle with three specs to choose from - ... but that sort of implies that you have to know and play at least 2/3 (if not all 3) - Affliction is the ultimate multi-dot tracking spec and I’ve never found a good way to do that for me + Affliction is as mobile as casters get these days (and as close as you can get to ranged survival in the current game, fuck you blizzard) +/- Unexciting transmog options (but at least since I’ve never mained a clothie it’s all essentially new; on the flip side it also means I don’t own a lot of it already so I’d have to go out farming) - Wands are still A Thing™ - Destruction and Demonology are turret casters - CLF and Blood of the Enemy both incredibly strong (VoP is almost equal to CLF for destro)

Rogue: - Pure DPS - Not solo survivable at low gear levels (never played at high gear levels to know if that changes significantly) - Poisons (only a problem for assassination right now but they’re coming back in shadowlands bc blizzard is stupid so (: love that) - Transmog options limited by weapon type for 2/3 specs - Melee - Honestly why am I even putting them on the list I like Sylenna but I hate everything rogues stand for and would never want to main one lmao

Demon Hunter (havoc focus): + Hybrid (melee/tank) - Melee

- Incredibly limited transmog options (exclusively due to personal brain stuff since they can actually use swords and axes and fist weapons, I just don’t want to. Also because some of the DH looks look real bad with the dark skin tone my DH uses and I refuse to spend 300g to whitewash her) - RC Loot Council still thinks they can use daggers and it hurts my soul every time - New weapon mog requires multiple bonus rolls over several weeks due to literally nobody else in the raid being eligible for the drops (and praying that extensions don’t happen or you’ll get fucked like in Dazar’alor) + Vengeance is pretty okay in casual dungeon environments (even if it never feels like I have a button to press for emergencies) + Essences are not an issue (b/c she’s already put the time in)

Mage: - Pure DPS - Incredibly not-survivable in solo content at low item levels. I have never once felt safe in open world content on my mages once they hit max level. - Sharing a class with Cider strikes me as incredibly dangerous to my sanity (since he’s so tryhard about his damage) +/- Unexciting transmog options + I do have the mage MoP CM armor tho! - Wands + Best class mount by leaps and bounds + Ranged + Fire/Frost at least have some mobility options + Being in control of AI and hero so we don’t have to call for them fifty times a pull sounds real nice (except when I want to be the one not paying attention)

Priest (shadow focus): + Hybrid (ranged/healer/healer) + Disc is the only non-druid healing spec I feel at least slightly comfortable in in casual dungeons (though not anything actually challenging) - Shadow is a multidot spec and multitarget multidot is hard to keep track of - Also we have two already (including the guild leader) +/- Unexciting transmog options (exacerbated by shadowform) - Wands + Ranged

Death Knight: + Hybrid (melee/melee/tank) - Melee +/- Unexciting transmog options + Blood doesn’t seem bad as far as tanking specs go - I haven’t touched Unholy since Wrath and supposedly its top dog atm - Let’s just skip over DK for now, honestly—it doesn’t bring anything to the Xella Table that warrior doesn’t also do (except blood > prot)

Warrior: + Hybrid (melee/melee/tank) + Brings a semi-unique buff (Battle Shout for when Irken isn’t around) - Melee +/- Unexciting transmog options + Capable of stealing almost everyone else’s weapon mog, tho—v exciting! - Naha will probably crack jokes about how bad a tank I am and/or how bad my DPS is if I main a warrior again, and regardless of whether it was true or is true, it will quietly tilt me off the face of the planet. - Would need a facelift; current look works fine for an alt but isn’t versatile enough for a main (would also benefit from a name change at the same time, honestly)

Hunter: - Pure DPS + Incredibly survivable in solo content at low item levels - Only has two specs (fuck you blizzard) + Great mog options, both for default look and enough variants to keep me satisfied + Also has quiver options in at least one spec - Not as mobile as it should be + Still more mobile than pretty much any other ranged + Sporey + Ranged + BOWS

- (: - I’d probably tilt myself off the face of the planet within six months anyway, just bc I’d be constantly reminded that ranged survival doesn’t exist anymore which is why I’m playing the inferior spec(s). - Honestly I keep coming up with excuses not to go back to the hunter but I really don’t think it’d be good for me - But I really want to play her or my druid hrrrrrrrrrrrrrrgh

Paladin: + Hybrid (melee/tank/healer) + Good offspec (protadin used to be better but is still entertaining, holy is a mystery tho) - Melee + We don’t have one + Utility (blessings and whatnot) - Unintuitive “rotation” - Very expensive to main (don’t have a paladin on Skywall, only 120 paladin at all atm is Horde)

Monk: + Hybrid (melee/tank/healer) - Offspecs are both dodgy (ha, brewmaster pun) - Melee - WW isn’t especially fun to play +/- Brings a unique (de)buff, but we already have two monks in our roster so it’s less an issue of never sitting/never getting to sit than the DH is. - Very expensive to main (the other class I don’t have on Skywall atm)

Favorite Book: Prisoner of Azkaban, definitely. Because Sirius Black is (mostly) happy in it, and Remus is there, and there’s time travel and magical creatures and it’s all so much more.. magical? than the other books, in my opinion? The magic is more the focus of the story than it is in any of the other books.

Least Favorite Book: ...Half Blood Prince. I don’t like how much time the golden trio spent fighting with each other in that book, and it also brings to light that James Potter wasn’t as perfect as Harry always thought, and that’s a painful realization to go through. Plus the plot was all about Draco and Severus, and Snape’s a git and while Draco’s.. himself, I don’t like seeing him suffer. Also Dumbledore died??? Like,, the man’s an ass, but I didn’t want him to die either? Plus Voldemort is back and the entire atmosphere of the book is just.. so dark and tense.

Favorite Film: Chamber of Secrets. I watched that movie when I was five, and it scared the heck out of me. But, I like snakes, and Moaning Myrtle is amusing, and also Ginny’s there quite a bit. There’s a good amount of tension, but it’s also not too bad since you know the paralysed students will be healed.. eventually. Plus, Gilderoy Lockhart is funny.

Least Favorite Film: Deathly Hallows Part 1. Just.. so dark?? So tense?? And there were weird scenes like Harry and Hermione dancing and Ginny tying Harry’s shoelaces? Also,,, the snake jfc. I know I just said I like snakes, but there is nothing normal about snakes masquerading as people and then attacking you. At least the basilisk acted like a normal snake, more or less.

Favorite Female Character: I admire Professor McGonagall a lot, as should everyone,, she’s so stern and authoritative, but she doesn’t let that interfere with who she is as a person, and she’s just got such a great sense of humor, and she loves her students so so much, and she’s basically the only teacher at Hogwarts that’s good at teaching besides maybe Professor Sprout... Remus doesn’t count, as he was only there for one year and had to take time off every month.

Favorite Male Character: I was going to pick James Potter, but... Remus is so kind and caring and he’s had such a bad lot in life but he just rolls with it and does the best he can, and he clearly loves Harry so much, but he sacrificed a personal relationship with him in favor or being the teacher Harry needed, and then in the Order he stood back and let Sirius have that close relationship with Harry that Remus also deserved,,, he’s just so Good.

Favorite Golden Trio: Harry. I love my dumb heroic son.

Favorite Silver Trio: I love all three of them, of course, but Ginny... She’s so fiery, and she holds her own among fie brothers, and she takes no shit, and she’s so strong and badass and I just admire her a lot, so...

Favorite Marauder: James Potter, hands down. Don’t get me wrong, I love the other three as well, but James is such a hopeless romantic, and his character development went so well, and you really get a sense of who he was even though you rarely see him in the books, as he is dead throughout. And he’s so brave and loving and just,, I love him so much. Hell, I named myself after him.

Favorite OTP: James and Lily, of course. They’re like the ultimate power couple, and they must have loved each other so much, and their personalities fit so, so well, and they were just so clearly equal to each other. They’d either be that couple that’s always bickering or sickeningly sweet, no in betweens.

some interesting facts about what dicro is capable of doing at his current power level:

(contains loads of violence, body horror, death, etc etc so if u don’t have a stomach for gore it may be unwise to click this read more)

tying strings around important arteries to sever them or just temporarily cut off blood flow to a certain area

creating a cage of string around someone’s brain or heart to essentially hold them hostage

creating string inside of one’s body to just worm around inside and drive people bonkers until they claw their own flesh open to get it to stop

telekinetically manipulating any objects inside of your body

he can’t remove air from things quite yet but he Can force enough air into someone’s lungs to cause them to explode

really, really fucking up anyone who manages to get impaled with more than one chain at once

theoretically he could tangle someone up with chains and, with the aid of aerokinesis & telekinesis on top of his original strength (which isn’t much hence the need for magic), use them as a flail, but that requires using like all of his powers at once so it’s pretty unwieldy and not something he’d really use. he could though and i just wanted you to have the mental image of him doing that

creating and maintaining an air bubble around any object(s) inside of him to prevent his soul from digesting them so that he can utilize them with telekinesis later as weaponry at the cost of injury to himself, which isn’t much of a cost considering who we’re talking about here

what i’m saying is that dicro could eat a gun, keep it floating around in his chest, and kill someone with it if they were close enough for the bullet to go through both his chest and whoever pissed him off. though maybe not because i don’t know if there are any guns small enough for a normal person to swallow, exuro please confirm

also applies to things like bombs, flechettes, or even helpful objects like healing items to pop in the middle of battle

doesn’t actually have to be something small enough to swallow considering he’s often around people with magical abilities who could either heal him after getting cut open or who could just teleport things in

dicro’s body could be entirely crammed with large knives and you’d never know until it was too late

can easily tie someone else to him with chains (or even impale both himself and several others to connect them) for suicide attacks, which he has little issue with considering he loves dying and being dead

he could just also headshot several people with the same chain and then use all of them like a flail. thats right i went back to it, it could happen, he could do that shit

also useful is connecting himself to someone else to keep them from getting too far away from him so that he can perform the tactics listed here that require focus, precision, and/or closeness

there are a lot of other horrifying things he’ll be able to do someday, but he’s still in training so be patient with him

what i’m getting at is that the only reason that dicro isn’t a jojo villain is because he’s a good and nice and kind person who doesn’t really have any issues with being threatened bc he’s into that kind of thing so why be so intense with someone who’s just trying to kill him???

now threatening his buds or deliberately getting into a one on one fight with him where no one holds back is another story
