Also it looks like I’ll be taking ex-coworker out for pho this weekend, she’s never had it before :V if I’m being evil and strategic, I won’t tell her that it’s a cash only place so I can pay her back for the burger. but I suppose the fair thing to do is give her autonomy and fight over the bill on equal terms rather than having an unfair advantage.

It wasn’t hard finding Na Jaemin. He spent most of his time in class, a business major like you. Every day he continued to grow his business on and off campus. He mainly grew popular for selling things people needed. Jaemin was the guy you “knew” when you needed something.
“It would be dope if we could get like a goat or something for a party,” you would say. And then your friend would respond with.
“I know a guy who could get us a goat,”
Jaemin became that kind of guy. Meaning besides the one class you shared you didn’t see him as much. He normally went home after class or studied with his friends. At parties, he was known for bringing “the goods” and selling to a bunch of college students. He even sold to a few professors on campus.
He was much known for Adderall. Adderall in simpler terms is known to increase your ability to pay attention, stay focused on an activity, and control behavior problems.
It may also help you to organize your tasks and improve your listening skills. Making it popular during exam season. Which made Jaemin a lot of money. Making him the only person in Si Cheng’s friend group to finally buy his apartment. Today you were visiting him there. Helping him move some pieces around, and get settled in. However, wouldn’t have been able to find it if Jisung didn’t make it so easy.
The thing about Jaemin is he’s a nice guy. He can provide you with anything you need and most time he is very quick with his deliveries. What made his name on your list was the fact that for a good price, he could give you anything.
He could get you a person's social media. He could also get you their phone number. As well as their address or even private photos of them. A long time ago Wendy had been one of the girls someone “ordered” pictures of and he delivered. After discovering this from Jisung who also disclosed Jaemin’s hideout it just made it too easy. Na Jaemin like his friends was going down.
Now if it wasn’t for Jisung finding Jaemin would have been difficult. Jaemin wasn’t someone who you could approach in the street. You had to know someone who knew someone to reach him. After his class, no one knew where he disappeared to, even after parties he wouldn’t return to his frat. Most of his friends had no idea where he’d go. Jaemin needed an extra hand delivering a bunch of bags full of marbles once and brought Jisung. Afterward, he stopped his “hideout” once he finished his job.
Turns out Jaemin’s “hideout” was just a shitty job he had at a record store.
He’d clean the doors and windows, and reorganize the records for fifteen dollars an hour. It was the first job that made Jaemin realize this was something he didn’t want to do. He wanted to make money not earn it. He wanted to be like your father. Your father earned money as well as your mother. They are still heads of the company they built from the ground up. Buying businesses and selling them for parts. As well as creating different tech equipment. Jaemin wanted that, what your father has. That's why he created his own little business supplying the students with what they needed.
You had just finished class when you found yourself outside the room waiting for Jisung alongside Jungwoo. Jungwoo leaned against the wall, arms crossed over his chest and shades concealing his eyes. You stood beside him a curve of your hip poking outwards. You checked your nails as you both waited for him to finally leave the classroom. You checked the clock above you, one fifteen, all the doors opened and students fled their classrooms. Probably finally getting something to eat.
Jisung emerged from his class Haechan beside him. The two were talking about whatever video game design they both liked when their eyes met yours. Jisung smiled at you sending a smile wave. Haechan eyed him confused making Jisung bring his hand down. Haechan felt a small heart attack that traveled down to his stomach. You smirked at him, cherry lip gloss shiny on your lips. You pulled back your sunglasses resting them on the top of your head, creating a head ban. Jungwoo chuckled watching you send him a small wave. He huffed turning to Jisung, "I'll see you later," He said avoiding your eyes as he walked away.
You and Jungwoo both laughed high fiving each other and adding a snap at the end. Jisung chuckled seeing Haechan's reaction, as well as yours. Jungwoo's laughter died down but his smile remained when he approached Jungwoo. He punched his shoulder, "Are you trying to get us caught?" He asked eyeing Jisung. The moment of mockery was short-lived. Jisung widened his eyes holding his hands up in defense. He shook his head brown locks swaying side to side.
"Never," he said. You walked up to the two of them placing a hand on Jungwoo's shoulder. "He didn't do it on purpose. Those two always walk out of class together," You said eyes leaving Jisung's to Jungwoo's side profile. He nodded removing his hand from Jisung dusting off his shoulders. He sent him a cheeky smile. "My bad. I was just a little concerned," he said nervously. Jisung shook his head waving his hands in a "no" motion. "He won't. I promise," he said. It became silent for a moment before you spoke again.
"Okay," You said clasping your hands together. "Let's go take care of Jaemin," You said turning on your heels full of gleam.
As you walked in the middle of Jungwoo and Jisung you noticed Jisung tense up. Catching his reaction to followed his eyes seeing Jaehyun next to Johnny just down the hallway with the basketball team. Jisung got nervous. His frat wasn't supposed to see you with him, it'd give everything away. He looked around finding an empty hallway. He turned to you pointing to the hallway. You nodded watching him flee.
Jaehyun's head turned from the guy he was talking to eyes finding yours. Instantly he cut the conversation and made his way toward you. Jungwoo noticed rolling his eyes. "Here we go," he commented. Jaehyun smirked as he tried to strengthen his walk to you. He flipped his hair to the side running a hand through it. You wanted to burst out laughing at the sight. You placed a hand on your hip once he finally reached you.
"Yes Jaehyun," you said already annoyed with him. He shrugged placing a hand in his pocket. He meets your eyes with pursed lips. "It's just nice seeing you here," he flirted eyeing you up and down.
"I mean she goes here," Jungwoo threw back in his face. Putting down his attempt at flirting. Jaehyun glared at him brushing him off. He smiled turning back to you and placing a hand in his pocket. "Johnny and I are throwing a Halloween party. I wanted to invite you," he said biting the inside of his cheek waiting for your response. You looked at Jungwoo both of you holding back your laughter.
Jaehyun sighed looking around and waiting for your response.
"Okay, Okay." you began. You covered your mouth trying to conceal your giggles. You held your breath for a second recollecting yourself. He just looked so goofy to you.
"If I say yes will you walk away?" you asked.
He nodded, "Yes,"
"Okay I'll go," you responded. He felt his heart skip a beat. Now it was his turn to conceal how excited he was. He nodded his head pursing his lips and turning to his side. "Cool, cool," he said as he slowly returned to his circle of friends. You and Jungwoo both watched as he wore a proud smile on his face. His friends teased him about the interaction.
Jungwoo held your arm as the both of you walked off. He over to you with a teasing smile. "I can't believe you ever dated that guy," he commented as the two of you walked off and down the hallway Jisung disappeared into.
You found Jisung out by your car. He stood beside it waiting for you to arrive. Once you did he picked up his head from his phone removing his headphones from his ear. He smiled but brushed it off remembering you weren't here to see him. You are here to get things done. "Jisung answer me this," you asked approaching him and unlocking your car. Jungwoo squeezed past him sitting in the passenger seat. Jisung moved aside Jungwoo sending him a thankful smile.
"Yeah," he said following you around the car. You leaned on the driver's side Jisung standing at an angle from you.
"Tell me. How haven't I scared you off yet?" you asked crossing your arms over your chest. Keys dangling from your hands. Jisung shuddered feeling the cool autumn breeze rush past him. Leaves scattering on the ground. He didn't feel nervous to meet your eyes like he had before. He wasn't even nervous about your question. He shrugged placing his phone back in his pocket.
"I guess it's because I like you. You're my friend," he said. You pursed your lips nodding letting his answer sink inside you. You smiled tapping his shoulder. "Good answer," you said before you opened the car door and sat inside. Jisung smiled a scoff released from his lips. He could start to see his breath in the wind. The seasons were changing. Summer was over and Fall was over, that calmed him. He enjoyed Fall, similar to you and like you he disliked Winter.
"So where are we gonna find Jaemin?" Jungwoo asked you as you drove down the long road. You nudged your head to Jisung. "He knows where his work is. We're going there now," You said turning your attention back to the road. Jungwoo sneered at the forest that surrounded the car. "How far is it?" he asked you.
"Not far, but far enough so no one at the school would find him," Jisung said speaking up. Jungwoo nodded turning back to the window and staring at the passing trees. You sighed gripping onto the wheel.
Were you making a mistake? You had asked yourself this question over the last couple of days but now you were starting to think about it. Getting the boys to come to you, making them feel so high and then so low in a matter of seconds, and treating them like meat felt good when you were doing it, but afterward, you just felt sorry for yourself.
What if your mother knew what you were doing? She would be more than furious. She already hated your father for years of manipulation between them in their relationship so what if she knew you were doing the same? Manipulating men who hurt you, who've hurt other people including your friends. You tried to justify with that kind of logic. These men hurt people and bad people should be punished. The silence in the car made the thoughts in your brain process easier. The silence also made you feel worse. Without any noise, you could hear every thought in your mind.
You removed one of your hands from the wheel opening up the music app on your phone. Scrolling through your playlist you find your favorite by clicking shuffle. The song started and Jungwoo smiled knowing how much you loved this song. He nodded off humming the lyrics. You smiled watching him making your body feel at ease. You looked up at your mirror seeing Jisung holding up his phone to the music searching for the song. It made your cheeks grow warm seeing him shazam one of your favorite songs. He did like you.
But then you remembered that at the end of the day, he was still a part of the group of men who hurt you.
You parked your car just a block away from the store. Each other steps out and shuts the car door. It was a much breezier day today, unlike yesterday. You hugged yourself as you walked down the street next to the two boys trying to warm yourself. Jisung noticed, he was about to offer you his sweater but decided it wouldn’t be a good idea.
Jisung stepped ahead motioning his hand to the record store. You checked out the building. It was a smaller store with stained windows. The shop had been here for a minute. Jungwoo and Jisung stepped back. Jungwoo runs his fingers up and down your arm giving it a gentle squeeze. “We’ll be right here,” he assured letting go of your arm. You nodded biting onto your lip nervously.
Jaemin was probably one of the more intimidating members of his group. And next to Yuta probably one of the more mysterious. He was never seen unless he was needed. His whereabouts always remained unknown. You had to know someone to reach him. Jaemin was also dealing narcotics his main source of income.
Your hand touched the door pushing it open a small jingling. You looked towards the counter seeing no one behind it. You turned back to the middle of the room. Five rows of sleeves full of records covered in cobwebs. You gulped letting the door close behind you stepping onto the burgundy rug with an unknown dark stain. The lights had turned on once you stepped inside making few of your worries disappear. You walked further inside wiping your finger on the counter and tracing a line of dust sitting on the pad of your index finger. You dusted your hand off walking to one of the records. You flipped through a random pile labeled “P”. Not seeing anyone in the store but there is an open sign confused you.
But someone would come out if they saw you shopping.
You continued looking through different baskets of records in silence. Growing bored you looked around the room. Large windows in the front give a view of the empty sidewalk and streets. There weren’t many people walking around shopping. It gave you the chills. This downtown street area in particular empty. The silence of it all creeped you out. Your eyes in search for something to do found a record player. You looked through a few more records most from artists from the 1990s and back you selected Madonna's record opened it and placed it on the record player.
It started well. You hummed to the music and you continued to look around waiting for any employee, any person to arrive. You swayed your hips to the music enjoying the record that played of the iconic singer. You smiled a memory of your mother clouding your mind. When you were much younger she always played Madonna. The two of you dancing together, going shopping, and tried on clothes as one of her songs played. You smiled smiling at another of her records in your hand. Just as you went to place it back the record started to scratch distorting the sound.
Completely freaked out you ran over stopping the record and placing it away. As you placed it away the lights went dark. You felt your heart skip a beat. There was still no one else here with you. Without a second thought, you leaned into action heading for the front door.
“Wait wait,” someone called calmly from the darkness. You didn’t bother waiting stepping outside the sun shining brightly on your face. The door opened behind you but didn’t close. You stepped forward towards the line between the street and the sidewalk. You turned around and saw Jaemin leaning against the shop door. Bigger arms crossed over his broad chest. He tilted his head to the side a playful look in his eyes.
“Never would I have ever imagined you’d come into my shop,” he said with a small shake of his head. You played with your fingers. You had never felt this kind of nervous before. “You own this place?” You asked him motioning to the record store. He turned his head looking at the sign with a nod he turned back to you.
“I bought it from an old man two years ago. He passed away and the place was cheap. I figured it would be perfect,” he said releasing his arms from over his chest. He leaned off the side of the door pushing it open. He stood flat on the door motioning his hands for you to come inside. You gulped as you stepped forward brushing a cobweb out of your face.
When you stepped inside Jaemin had changed the store sign from Open to Closed.
You walked down the aisle behind Jaemin of dusty records. You wanted to make conversation with him. But based on Jaemin's overall vibe. He was a lot more intimidating than you thought. You assumed he'd be easy. You'd come to his shop and say you needed something but not have enough money to pay for it. Then he'd give you an offer.
Sex for Weed.
It wouldn't be the first time someone fucked for a pound. As you walked down this old, run-down record shop, you were starting to regret that plan. It was a cheap plan that would leave you feeling worse than before you arrived today. So Jaemin would have something more special planned and thought out like his friends.
He opened a wooden door leading to a wooden staircase. He held the door open letting you step in first. He sent you a smirk as you placed your foot on the first step. You looked back at him uneasy expression on your face. The staircase was dusty and smelled of mold. There were dents and nails on the steps. When you placed your foot on the second step it creaked. So you stepped down crossing your arms over your chest.
"I'm not going up those stairs," You said using your finger to point in the direction of the creepy dark staircase. Jaemin chuckled stepping ahead of you and letting the door close behind him. "If you want what I'm selling you have to go upstairs," he said already on the fifth step. He placed both hands in his pockets as he walked up. You huffed with a small pout following behind him.
"Also I wouldn't touch the railing," he commented not turning his head to you. You lifted your hand on the wooden bar confused and tensed. "Why?" you asked your hand hovering over the railing.
"It's full of spiders," he said turning left and disappearing from the staircase. You squealed running up the stairs and seeing him in front of a door holding up and key. He smirked turning away from you and to the door. "I'm assuming a girl like you is here for one thing," he said opening his office door.
You tilted your head. "What am I here for?" you asked with a smirk.
"Weed princess," he said handing you a bag from his insanely large stash. Your eyes bugled out of their socket. Arms fell as you walked further inside the room. "Woah," you said your nose wrinkling at the smell once you fully walked inside. Jaemin swatted your hand away when you went to touch the bags.
"You can look but you can't touch unless you buying," He said you scoffed but obliged letting your hand fall. You walked around the small cabinet office instead. Your mouth was agape as you stared in awe at all the weeds surrounding you. "How did you even get this much?" you asked making your way to the back the small intensifying as you made it to the small window. Looking out you could see your car. You wondered if he saw you.
Jaemin cleared his throat calling your attention. You turned seeing him place the bag in a small box. He stood by the door leaning on his side waiting for you so he could close the office door. You walked out allowing him to shut the door. He locked it handing you the box.
"I won't charge you," he said leaning closer to you with a smirk, handing you the box. You went to grab it but he pulled his hand away. "But since I am giving you this free of charge I'd like something else," he said a playful smirk on his pink lips. You scoffed crossing your arms over your chest. Just as you expected, Na Jaemin would be too easy.
"Oh really?" you asked smirking back confident you had the upper hand. "What do you want," you hushed back. He chuckled standing straight his eyes still locked with yours. Both of you are in a battle to see who would look away first. You were sure he would. He was gonna ask you to fuck him, you were sure of it.
"I'd like your number," He said with a smile followed by a shrug. "Maybe even hang out," he followed with. You widened your eyes slightly but held contact. This could still work. You nodded holding your hand out. "Okay," you said with a warm smile. He reached into his pocket handing you his open phone. You put your number in handing it back to him. You turned to walk away but he took your wrist in his large hand. He pulled you towards him leaning down to place a kiss on your neck.
"See you soon," he whispered for only your ears. You hid the tingles you felt throughout your body. Forcing the butterflies you felt in your stomach away. You pulled your hand away leaving his frame. You turned on your heels a sway in your hips as you walked down the staircase. Jaemin smiled to himself as he watched you walk away. Feeling all the butterflies in his stomach and chest.
It didn't take long for Na Jaemin to become delusional enough to believe a girl like you would be into him. He was just like his friends. Desired you, craved you, they dreamed of you.
The only thing that was different about Na Jaemin was you couldn't control him like the others.
You had gone to his record store a few days ago saying you came because you wanted to buy weed from him. He sold you the bag and slipped in his phone number. He took time responding to your text but when he did it made it hard to not wish he wasn't friends with those assholes.
4:01 pm
Na- How's your day princess?
y/n- It's been good
Na- That's good. I love to hear that. How can NaNa make it better?"
You had cringed at his obsession with addressing himself in the third person.
y/n- Come over
9:01 pm
Na - I'm sorry Princess Nana got busy. I promise I'll make it up to you. What do you like? Let Nana know how he can make it better.
y/n- Not wasting my time.
Na- I promise it won't happen again. Text me your address.
He always let you believe you were in control but here you were constantly checking your phone for his response. It had been like this the last few days. Secretly waiting for his reply.
"What's on your mind?" Wendy asked as Jungwoo rolled up beside her. You shook your head. "Nothing, I was just thinking about everything that were doing," you said with a slight shrug. You sat back on your white rug on your living floor. You leaned on your couch resting your back and bringing your knees to your chest. Ten made a side frown. Wendy frowned as well and placed her hand on your knee giving it a gentle squeeze. Jungwoo licked a stripe on the thin paper folding it around the weed.
"I mean are we doing the right thing?" you asked. Ten kept quiet causing Wendy to scoff. She looked away from him and at you.
"I think you're doing exactly what you need to do. These guys are the impiety of assholes. You remember what they did to us, to you," she said with a hint of determination in tone but sadness in her eyes. Jisung appeared from the bathroom sitting on the rug beside you and next to Ten. "What did they do?" he asked curiously. Jungwoo pulled a lighter out lighting up the joint.
"Should we tell him?" he asked the circle. Everyone looked at each other and then you for permission. You widen your eyes surprised this conversation is happening. You looked over at Jisung who's eyes were already on you. You examined him for a minute letting your gut decide if you should let your friends tell him about their past with his friend group.
Jungwoo took a hit as he waited passing it to Wendy. "Okay," you said turning away from Jisung. His lips formed a small smile feeling closer to you all even though he knew of you spoken yet. "Just leave my parts out," you said with a small frown. You held your head down, your friends nodding understanding. Jisung frowned as well. He wanted to know what his 'friends' had done but he wasn't going to force you to speak.
Wendy took it a hit and then passed it to you. You remained quiet as she spoke.
"I'll speak for myself," she said rubbing her hands on her pants as she turned to Jisung. Jisung focused his attention on her. She let out a sigh. "When I first started going to school here I met a guy," she smiled thinking of the first interaction she had with him. "He was really sweet to me. He showed me around campus and even invited me to a party he was throwing with his friend. I was so excited to go," she said remembering the rush she felt about her first college party.
She shook her head old feelings returning. "We got close. So I thought," she bit the inside of her mouth feeling the same anger again heat up throughout her body. "I thought he liked me," she said feeling her heart swell again. You placed your hand on her shoulder rubbing it gently.
"We had gotten to know each other. He took me out on cute dates and treated me like a princess. So when the day of the party arrived I put on my best outfit. I thought about it all day, I could barely focus in class. My leg bounced under the table in nervousness and excitement. Then the time finally came. I got dressed, did my hair and makeup, and went to the party," she took a pause.
"I searched for the boy finding him in the kitchen. We danced together for a moment then he brought me upstairs to his room. He kissed me and it felt good. Until I noticed something in the corner of his room," she said her voice dying out.
"What did you find?" Jisung asked fully invested in the story.
She sighed chewing on the side of her mouth. "I noticed a small red light in the corner facing the direction of the bed. I walked over to it and pushed away a t-shirt and a few books finding a fucking camera," she said a tear slipping down her cheek. Jisung gasped hand covering his mouth. He felt terrible inside having no idea how incredibly disgusting his so-called friends are. He only wondered which one it was.
Jungwoo and Ten shook their heads. You remained quiet just keeping your hand on Wendy.
"I was down to my bare body laying on his fucking bed when I found it," she said tears streaming down her face. The wounds still have not healed. The memory stung her heart. "He was angry I found the camera. I quickly got dressed and left," she said forcibly wiping her tears away with her sleeve. The room felt silent for a moment as Wendy collected herself. She took a hit from the blunt. She coughed for a bit thanking you as you handed her a glass of water.
"Luckily as I was running out I ran into Y/n," she said with a smile. She turned to you with puffy eyes. Her lip quivered as she spoke. "I bumped into her and she asked me if "I was okay?" I lied and told her yes. But she saw him at the top of the stairs and asked me again. I turned seeing him and looked back at her telling her the truth. I wasn't okay and in fact, I was scared. Scared everyone would see the video of me," she paused. "She took me home that night," she said with a smile touching your hand.
"The next day she found me in a class. I came inside sitting beside me and telling me. "I handled it," she said with a chuckle. "I was so confused," she said with a shake of her head. "But the video never got out and the boy left me alone," she said putting an end to the story. She turned away from you clearing her throat. She turned to Jisung meeting his eyes.
"That boy was Johnny and this is why I hate him so much," she confessed. "Wow," he said shaking his head. He had no idea what to say. He couldn't defend their actions he wouldn't even try. He felt nothing but pity for Wendy. He couldn't imagine being in that situation.
"I'm sorry that happened to you," he said. He felt like all he could do was apologize even if it wasn't his fault. Wendy shook her head. "It's not your fault. You didn't do anything," she said but that was the problem. He frowned shaking his head. He was at that party and didn't do anything. You noticed his face touching his knee. He met your big eyes with a sad expression. You shook your head knowing he was shitting on himself. "You didn't know. None of us did," you said to make him feel less like shit and understand that if Wendy wasn't angry at him and he had no way of knowing that he wasn't to blame. Only Johnny was to blame.
He nodded turning to Jungwoo. "And you?" he asked.
Jungwoo looked over at him. "Me?" he asked. Jisung nodded hand ghosting over yours. You smiled biting your lip to hide the expression.
"What did they do to you?" he asked. He sighed scouting closer to the coffee table resting his hands on it. "Well one they hurt my girls," he said causing both girls to laugh. Jisung smirked glancing over at you. You are so pretty when you smile.
"And some of them made my life hell in high school," he said. Jisung's eyes widened now lost. He didn't know their history went to far back. "High school?" he asked and Jungwoo nodded. "Yup. Y/n and I went to the same high school as Jaehyun, Johnny, Jeno, and Mark," he said like it was common knowledge when it very much wasn't to him.
"It was mainly Johnny and Jeno. They made comments about sexuality especially after I became friends with Y/n. They called me her pet throughout high school. They didn't beat me up or anything they were just dicks all the time to me and it was annoying so I don't like them," he said with a roll of his eyes. Jisung nodded believing every word he said because it sounded exactly like them to do something like that.
"Y/n got them to leave me alone mainly because she was dating Jaehyun," he said with a shrug. Jisung's eyes went wide. You threw a pillow at him causing his head to fly back. "I said leave me out," you said. Jungwoo scoffed fixing himself as he jerked his head at you. "My bad. I just still can't believe you two dated and like not for fake," he said causing Ten to chuckle.
"You dated Jaehyun?" he asked. You turned to him shaking your head. "It's a long story and I don't want to share," you said stopping Jisung from asking any further questions. Jungwoo chuckled throwing the pillow back on the couch. He turned to Ten slapping his arm. Ten made an ow sound rubbing his arm. "Your turn," he said.
Ding Dong
The doorbell rang. Everyone looked at one another lost.
"I didn't order any food," you said first looking over at everyone else. They all sent the same weird glance to one another. "Did you invite anyone else?" Wendy asked you. You shook your head as you stood up to see who it was. Jisung followed behind you. Jungwoo tapped Ten's leg pointing at Jisung following. "He's trying to protect her," he said causing Wendy to throw another pillow at him. Ten just chuckled at their nonsense.
You checked the peephole widening your eyes covering your mouth trying to muffle your gasp. You turned to Jisung and he shook his head confused. "What?" he asked. You met his eyes slightly backing away from the door. You pulled him with you eyeing the door and then him.
"It's Jaemin," you said just above a whisper. "I didn't invite him," you said with a shake of your head. Only you did invite Na Jaemin, you just didn't think he'd so up right now. Jisung widened his eyes heading back to the living room to warn everyone else.
Ding Dong
The doorbell rang again causing you to jump. You didn't think he was going to show up. You walked up to the door and saw him leaning against the wall rubbing his boots on the carpet. "Just a minute!" you called. He smirked shaking his head. He knew he was successful in surprising you. You probably assumed he wasn't going to respond to your text or show up at your apartment.
"Okay princess take your time!" he called pulling out his phone. You watched him for a moment hearing a rush of footsteps behind you. Jungwoo nosey as ever grabbed hold of your shoulders, bending down to see if Jaemin was there. When he pushed you slightly and replaced his eye with yours he gasped covering his mouth and stepping away.
You looked again listening as Wendy told everyone to be quiet. As you looked through the peephole again Jaemin glanced up from his phone staring straight into the small hole. Your heart skipped a beat as you backed up. Jisung looked at you worried reaching his hands out to you. You took his hands but only for a moment. "I can invite him in with them here, but not with you," you said looking into his eyes.
"What do we do?" Wendy asked you. Ten stood by the door making Jaemin smirk believing it was your shadow. "We can hide him," Jungwoo suggested. "Or we can have this conversation away from the door," said Ten. You all agreed walking back into the living room but not before you told Jaemin you'd be right there.
"Okay, so what do we do?'" Ten asked looking back at the door. He turned back to the group placing his hands on his hips. "Jungwoo did say we could hide him," he said motioning his hand to Jungwoo who stood beside him. Jungwoo nodded agreeing with him. You chewed on your lip, foot tapping on the ground. This couldn't be the end. You were growing closer by the day and now everything could fall apart. The minute Jaemin sees Jisung here with you, as friends in your apartment everything would be over.
He'd tell his friends, Si Cheng, Yangyang, and Haechan would surely question him. They'd either spill or warn the others to stay away from you and probably alienate Jisung from his home. Then everything would completely fall apart for you and your friends. You looked back at the door chewing on your lip. Your heart sinks further down your body making your stomach turn.
You couldn't let that happen.
"He can hide in my room. I'll keep the door locked and the lights off. Jaemin won't spend too much time here tonight," you said. Everyone nodded off Wendy taking him to your bedroom. She walked him down the small wooden floored hallway. She opened your bedroom door, and your dog jumped off your bed and ran past her legs. Scattered paws run down the hallway. She quickly pushed Jisung into the room. Not hard enough to hurt him or anything just enough to draw his attention back. He had been staring down the hallway waiting for Jaemin to come in.
"Okay," she said. "Don't touch anything, but if you get thirsty I'm sure Y/n won't mind if you take from the small fridge," she said pointing to the white fridge on the other side of the bedroom. Jisung nodded watching as Wendy shut the door. "Lock it," she whispered from the other side. He complied shutting off the lights as well.
You let out a breath calming yourself before you opened the door. You couldn't let Jaemin smell any ounce of nerves on you. You had to fake the confidence all over again just like you had before. So you fixed your hair and wore a bright smile. Your friends all waiting in your living room for you. You reached out for the handle of your door turning it. You opened it revealing Jaemin who leaned against the wall. His phone was long gone. He smirked pressing off the wall and coming up to you. He placed a hand on your waist bringing you closer to him. He leaned down to your lips. You played with him letting your pretty eyelashes tickle his.
He smiled pressing his lips to your cheek in a soft kiss. "My princess you look so pretty for Nana," he said eyeing the outfit you wore and biting onto his lips. You were just wearing silk pants and a matching pink top. Your face is bare, not an ounce of makeup on your skin. You hadn't even done your skincare routine yet. His eyes met your hands gliding up and down your waist. "Do I Nana?" you asked with a purse of your pretty lips. Jaemin bit his lip pulling you closer to him. "Mhm. Nana missed you," he whispered pressing a small kiss on your lips.
He let go going to step into your apartment but you placed a hand on his firm chest. The boy had grown since freshman year. He was taller than you for sure but he had doubled in size. His biceps are much larger than they were before. They stood out in his black t-shirt, arms bigger than your head. Soft brown hair dusting his forehead and glossy lips. Why the fuck did Na Jaemin have to be so beautiful. It pissed you off.
He frowned hand reaching up to touch yours. "What's wrong?" he asked you looking into your eyes. "My friends are here," you responded looking into his big brown eyes. Once again cursing him out for being so stupid. You'd keep around if he wasn't friends with those people or Na Jaemin. He shrugged gently placing his hands back on your hips. "So? I don't mind," he said with a smile. You thought about it for a moment. It was probably a bad idea to keep him here. You didn't want any of the boys to have contact with anyone you knew. You wanted to decrease the risk of any of them discovering the truths of your plan.
You also didn't want to keep Jisung waiting in your bedroom alone.
But you needed to get this done.
No you couldn't, its a terrible idea.
But how could you ever get to Jeno if you were stuck on Jaemin?
You smiled grabbing Jaemin's full attention. He tilted his head at the evil smirk on your lips trying to figure out your expression. He sent you a playfully dangerous smirk. You grabbed his shirt pulling him inside your home. Jungwoo heard steps behind him taking a hint from the placing blunt he chuckled. "Is he gone?" he asked a cloud of smoke forming. Jaemin chuckled hands in his pockets walking over to where you stand shoes off.
"No she let me in," he said hair falling in front of his face as he stopped chuckling and replaced the gentle noise with a smirk. Jungwoo smoke slipped past his lips moving in Jaemin's direction. He waved his hand exposing the rest of the room to Jaemin. They all widened their eyes, Ten taking a sip of his drink. Wendy looked away from him eyes finding yours sending you a stare that could only read to you as "Are you serious?"
You sent her one back letting her know it would be worth it. She stood up rubbing her hands on her pants a forced smile on her lips. She leaned over to grab her purse taking her phone out. She checked the time then scoffed looking back up at you and Jaemin. "Well, would you look at that? I'm late to turn in my essay," she said walking towards the front door and searching for her shoes.
"Alreayd living? You've never cared about an essay before?" you asked placing a hand on your hip. Your lips pursed as you eyed her. She shrugged putting both boots on her feet. "I need to pick up my grades," she reported quickly. You chuckled walking over to her and crossing your arms over your chest. "For what class?" you asked Jaemin turning his body and watching the scene play out. He couldn't help but check you from the back either.
"English," she said. You smiled nodding your head. "I'll walk you out," you said opening your front door from in front of her. You reached your arm over and pulled it. She nodded wide eyes and a sigh left her lips. "Boys take care of him I won't be long," you said to Jungwoo and Ten. They both looked at each other nodding then stood up to "handle Jaemin".
The minute you shut the door you dropped the act.
"Seriously why did you invite him in?" she asked trying to make sense of your choice. She stared at you for a moment shocked, waiting for your response. She waved her hand brows furrowed. "Well?" she asked impatiently.
"I need him to trust me," you said with a smile on your pink lips. Wendy poked the inside of her mouth with her tongue nodding her head. She leaned back her front leg standing out, arms crossed over her chest. "So you let him inside?" she asked sarcastically. You nodded, "Yup," you responded. She thought about it for a moment but then nodded letting her arms fall. "Okay if you think it will help out your plan then you do you girl," she said walking up to you. She gave you a small hug before she waved goodbye.
Just as you went to turn to leave both Jungwoo and Ten stepped out. You raised a brow with a smirk crossing your arms over your chest. “And where are you too going?” You asked seeing Jungwoo still holding the blunt in his hand. He shrugged looking away from Ten and at you.
“We’d figure we’d give you some space,” he said rushing to move down the hallway but Ten grabbed his shirt preventing himself from moving forward. Jungwoo poured dusting his shoulder off where Ten grabbed him. Ten sighed turning to you after sending his friend a glare. “What are you gonna do about Jisung?” He asked. Your finger tapped on your arm as you chew on your lip.
“You my closet as an exit right?” You asked sarcastically. They both nodded Jungwoo making an “oh” face. “I knew that,” Ten said slightest embarrassed he forgot. You nodded turning both of them around and pushing them away. Once they left you went back inside. You walked into your living with a smile on your face ready for Jaemin but to your surprise, he was not there.
“Jaemin?” You called looking around the space. Your first thought was to walk into the kitchen. Maybe he got hungry you thought. You stepped into your kitchen the door closing behind you. The marble floors shined, spotless not a crumb in sight. The kitchen itself is decorated for the fall thanks to your maid. Pumpkins were placed around the room and fake leaves hung from the ceilings. The autumn colors stood out in your white kitchen. But Jaemin wasn’t there. You turned away thinking he may have slipped down the hallway to see the rest of your home.
You left through the back door of the kitchen. Walking down another wooden floored hallway of your penthouse. Opening the first door to the right was the movie theater. You looked inside unsuccessful in your search for Jaemin. You had turned the lights on and he was not there. With a sigh, you left the room shutting the lights off followed by the door.
Next we the door on your left. The guest bedroom. You opened it seeing the bed perfectly made and everything around the room. The computer, the small fridge, and the TV remote were untouched. You huffed closing the door and failing to find him again.
You walked down the hallway placing an ear at one of the doors. You heard no sound on the other side, not a signal breath so you didn’t open it. You were starting to get annoyed. Where could he have gone? You placed your hands on your hips frustrated. The frustration was starting to attack your body physically. The heat makes you start to sweat. The sweat became uncomfortable as it formed on the back of your neck. You walked over to a small door and opened it pushing some brooms and buckets out of the way. You shut the closet door Once you did you were exposed to a rusty, dirty white door. Without care, you turned the golden knob exposing a small pathway.
You walked down the dark pathway. It was dark a small lightbulb switch at the top. You flicked it closing the door behind you. It illuminated the small space, showing the interior of your penthouse. Piles of wood and plaster were shown to you as you walked down the small space. A small creak in the floor. A fly flying past your head. You swatted it away.
Once you reached the end you took out a key from your pocket. You pushed the key into the hole turning the lock and opening the door. You push it open hundreds of clothes on racks blocking your view. You pushed them to the side removing the key from the door you closed it. The door blends into the pink closet.
You stepped out onto the rug seeing Jisung just outside the closet looking at some of your pictures. You quickly ran to him without a thought. Pulling him inside the closet. His eyes widened not sure when you came in. You came in so quietly he thought. How long have you been there? And why from the closet?
You grabbed his hand bringing him to the closet. “You have to go Jaemin’s here,” you said to him in a rush pulling further into the closet. “How? If he’s in the living room?” He asked feeling his heart start to race. Jaemin couldn’t catch him here it would destroy everything. It made Jisung more than worried his heart pounding down his chest.
“Here,” you said handing him the small golden key. You pushed back a bunch of your fall jackets exposing the white door to him. “Go through here, when you reach the other side lock the door and leave the key on the clear shelf I’ll find it. Once you exit the broom closet go down the hallway through the kitchen and then out the front door,” you said quickly. You did not doubt in your mind that Jaemin was still here.
“Y/n?” You heard Jaemin call. Your eyes widened heart racing in fear of getting caught. You had blanked on Jisung being here forgetting you hid the boy in your room. Jisung bit his lip. He was scared of getting caught.
“Y/n!” Jaemin called again standing outside your bedroom door. You heard him jiggle the handle. You opened the escape door behind Jisung.
“Just a second!” You shouted back. Ushering Jisung to the door. Jisung looked back at you his legs unable to move. “You got to be kidding me,” you said frustrated. You took his hand guiding him down the hallway not bothering to turn the light on. When you reached the other side you took Jisung down the hallway, through the kitchen, and into the living room. Handing him his sneakers and pushing him out the door. He went to speak but you shut the door.
“I forgot my sweater,” he said quietly but didn’t bother to knock. He was upset at you for inviting Jaemin in. A part of him is jealous you rushed him out to see Jaemin. So what, even if he wouldn’t last until tomorrow he wanted to be in there with you. Letting out a frustrated huff he put on his shoes and walked off to take the bus home.
"I didn't mean to keep you waiting," you said in a rush. Jaemin shook his head stepping inside your bedroom. "No worries princess," he said as he walked over to your dresser. He placed a small box down and then continued to look around your bedroom. You closed your door standing in front of it fiddling your thumbs as you wondered why he didn't already have his hands on you.
You assumed the minute he had you to himself he's let loose. Every hope and fantasy would unleash with the same girl he's been dreaming about since freshman year of college. Jaemin took notice of your fidgets and chuckled head falling and dark strains of hair dusting his forehead. He looked over at you with a smile. "Why are you standing so far away princess?" he asked. He slowly began walking over to you placing down one of your picture frames. A photo of you and your father.
"Are you scared of Nana?" he asked your room had gotten dark rather quickly. The sun had set earlier being the change in seasons. All your lights were turned off as well. The only way you were able to see Jaemin was through the sheer moonlight from your bedroom window that pointed to the middle of your room. Your bedroom is large enough that only one window can illuminate a small part of your room.
As he walked over to you, you shook your head stepping to the side and slowly leading him in the direction of your bed. He hadn't realized what you were doing so blindly he followed. "I'm not scared," you responded backing from him.
"Then why are you moving away from me?" he asked with a playful tongue. You slightly shrugged the back of your knees reaching your bed. You fell back once he stepped in front of you. He skillfully spread your legs with his right knee. He reached into his pocket keeping his eyes on yours. You gulped seeing his hand disappear. "I want to do something special for you. Something I've wanted to do for a while, but first," he said pulling out a small bag. He opened it exposing the prerolled blunt in his hands. In his other pocket, he pulled out a lighter.
"Smoke with me," he said gesturing to the blunt. You chuckled a hand moving to dance on your tummy. Your eyebrows lifted then fell as you spoke. "What's the special thing you want to do for me?" you asked teasingly. Chuckles erupted from Jaemin's chest. He leaned down hovering over your lips. "I want to taste you," he said placing a soft, chase kiss on your lips. He pulled away your eyes remaining closed. When you opened then you saw him light up the blunt.
He held his hand out to you. You took it allowing him to sit you up. You smiled thanking him moving over for him to sit beside you. He brought the blunt to your lips after lighting it. "You get to go first," he said handing it to you. You waved your hand shaking your head. "No way you first," you said pushing it away. This wasn't your first time smoking. You've smoked with a bunch of your other friends before, mostly with Jungwoo. This however was the first time you were smoking with Jaemin and you just wanted to be safe.
"Okay," he said not fighting you. He brought the blunt to his lips placing it in between the top and bottom. Inhaling and then releasing the smoke. "See baby you safe," he said some of the smoke getting in your face. The scent started to fill your nostrils causing you to hum. He brought it back to you holding it up to your lips.
He held it for you as you wrapped your lips around where he just was. Inhaling then releasing some of the smoke in his face he chuckled. You coughed a little causing Jaemin to go to the small fridge in your room pulling out a juice. He opened the cap bringing it to your lips. He lifted the juice watching as your throat bobbed drowning in the liquid. When he removed it from your lips some spilled from the side. He laughed removing the juice from your lips.
"Thirsty girl," he commented placing the juice on your nightstand. Once he successfully placed it he came back to you. He handed you the blunt placing a soft kiss on your lips. "Now you sit back and relax okay? I'll be down here if you need me, princess," he said taking the pillow from behind you so it would sit comfortably behind your back. He smiled satisfied with how you felt and made his way to your jaw kissing his way down your body. He didn't even remove your bra, not even your shirt. He only slipped down your silk house pants and blue panties.
You knew this princess treatment was an act. He must think you only wake up and use the left side of your brain to get through your door if he believed you were convinced by his little act. Jaemin was a businessman. And a man with a poor business will do whatever he can to make it to the top. Sure you were on his list of girls he wanted to fuck but the only reason you sat at the top was jot because you had the tightest pussy on the East Coast.
It was because of your daddy.
Jisung told you about each of these men. How easy Jaemin would be as a professional ass kisser. He thought if he treated you like an absolute princess the spot in your father's company would be his. Word may have gotten out that your father did not want you to run his company and you wanted to find a man instead, so he would take over. Then your mother would give you hers and you could keep the business in your family.
Which turned you from a trophy to a ticket.
Like the others, you were Jaemin's ticket to the top. So he'd give you free weed every day of the year if it meant one day when you presented him to your father as your suitor he would never have to sell weed again. Such a well-thought-out plan on his part.
Too bad you knew every detail of it.
So this moment now your thighs spread for him, his hair tickling your skin. Placing love bites and kisses on your plush skin as he worked his way closer to your aching core would be enough to make him believe for one more night you were his.
He pulled your baby blue panties back exposing your glistening folds to the cool air. He looked up at you for a moment the smoke you exhaled floating past his cheeks. He groaned at the sight of your lips gently wrapped around the blunt. He sighed leaning back down to your glistening pussy. He leaned his arm over turning your bedside lamp on just to get a good look at you. Licking his lips he felt his mouth water at the sight of you. So pretty and wet just for him. It made the strain his pants tighten but if he wanted this he'd only take care of you tonight.
So he rested on your mattress laying his stomach flat. Strong biceps wrapped around you pulling you down for his eyes to meet your pussy. He licked a stride on your slit from your home to your clit ending the travel with a kiss on the nub. You shuddered at the sudden but final contact. He watched from below awaiting your every reaction, you were so hard to watch, and please at the same time.
He engulfed his lips around your clit flicking the nerves with his tongue and sucking it with his lips. The wetness from his tongue slipping down your pussy tickling your hole. He quickened his pace bringing his index forward and dancing around your hole. You moaned repeatedly out loud some of the smoke getting caught in your throat.
Jaemin's finger slipped inside slowly letting you adjust. "Breath baby," he teased watching you with a proud smile unfold. He felt a sense of power knowing he was the only man in school to have you like this. He brought his head back down repeating his motions with his tongue. "Fuck Jaemin how are you so good at this?" you asked through moans. You didn't need him to answer it just slipped out your mouth. He chuckled at the sound vibrating on your clit, however, he didn't answer.
You brought the blunt of your lips again feeling him quicken his pace inside you. You brought it down to him letting him take a hit which he obliged taking it from your warm hands and bringing it to his wet lips. He pushed his fingers inside you fucking you with a curling motion grazing over your spot. He almost choked seeing he hit the right spot inside you that drove you mad. Your body arching, brows furrowed and mouth open erupting in moans. "Fuck Jaemin you feel so good," you praised it all going to his head and then to his cock.
"All for you princess," he said handing you the blunt back. He placed a kiss on your lips exhaling the smoke into your mouth. He groaned when you released it again in his face a smile on your lips. He kissed you passionately slipping his tongue past your mouth. He continued fucking you with his large fingers. You gripped on his bicep, flexing under your warm touch.
"Fuck you taste so good," he praised breaking the kiss for a brief moment looking into your eyes. He quickly placed his lips on yours again. "Doing so good for Nana," he said placing a kiss on your lips as he found his spot on your mattress again engulfing your lonely clit between his lips. You smiled as you took another hit letting your hand grip onto his hair. You pushed your hips forward grinding on both his fingers and tongue.
Jaemin getting drunker on your pussy flexed his hips into your mattress quickly reaching his pathetic high. You are not too far behind him. He held your waist helping you to grind on his face groaning into your pussy every time your clit touched his nose. "Fuck Jaemin I'm so close," you moaned eyes shut. You had taken a peak before seeing his abuse making your head fall back in bliss.
You could feel the knot in your stomach seconds away from bursting. You pussy sucking up his index and middle. He groaned loudly and aggressively as he came in his pants. The vibration going straight through your body and dancing on your clit. You felt your climax burst cum oozing out of your tight hole. Jaemin hummed licking every inch of you up. Once your pussy was clean he pulled away leaning in to kiss you but only to be prevented by a cloud of smoke.
"Thank you Jaemin. Goodnight," you said your tone changing as you stood up. Drinking the rest of your juice then stepping into your bathroom to pull out a warm cloth. You cleaned yourself up throwing the cloth away. Jaemin smiled believing you two were still playing the same game. He fixed himself up walked over to you placed a hand on your waist leaning in to place a kiss on your cheek but you swirled your head. He furrowed his brows but still didn't think much of it.
He went to make a move again as you pulled the covers back on your bed but you stepped away from him again.
He huffed, "Okay princess what's wrong?" he asked. You chuckled fluffing up your pillows. "You're still here," you retorted your back turned to him. He scoffed running a hand through his hair. "I don't understand why you are so upset princess-" You dropped the pillow in your hand turning to him.
"Oh cut the act," you said with a raise of your eyebrow. You crossed your arms over your chest seeing him straighten up. You smirked seeing his reaction. "We both know why you are here," you said.
Caught. His eyes widened for a brief moment but he held a confused face. He felt your words sting at his chest. "I don't know what you're talking about-" he tried to say before you cut him off again.
"Cut the shit Jaemin. Save yourself the time and drop the act," you spat back now annoyed with his stupidity.
Trapped. His heart rate picked up. He felt his throat go dry and sweat form on his palms. He slowly backed away from you indicating to you as an invitation to follow. You raised a brow arms still crossed over your chest. "Oh? So You have no clue what I'm talking about?" you asked knowing you both knew the answer. He shook his head back landing flat on your door. He felt around for the handle. You could see his efforts to escape out of the corner of your eye.
"Try and leave and security will stop you," you said.
Captured. He let his hand fall. You grabbed onto his shirt yanking him forward and bringing him to your vanity chair. He flopped on it eyes wide as you stood before him. Seeing a whole new side of you he'd never even imagine. You were making him nervous which rarely ever happened to him. He was so used to being in control, used to being slick but now it was being thrown right back in his face.
Surrender. He put his hands up "Look I can explain-" You shook your head with a suck of your teeth. "Don't bother," You leaned down to his level eyes still locked with his. "Admit your faults and I'll let you go. The others didn't get a choice," you said sending him a glare shadowed by a friendly smile.
Lie. "I was at first using you to get to your father but after spending time with you I realized how great you are and I want to be with your princess," he spilled skipping some of the beat of the flow of his words.
No Other Choice. You shook your head. "Try again with the truth," you said annoyance in your tone. He sighed finally dropping his dumb act. "Fine bitch I was using you to get your daddy because I knew if I treated you like a pretty fucking princess that spot would be mine," he said this time hitting every beat.
Played. You smirked. He grimaced seeing your reaction. "Why are you looking at me like that?" he asked feeling the back of his neck become warm. "You didn't think I wasn't using you?" you said leaning back. Jaemin's eyes squinted confused. "What?" he asked. You slowly began to walk around the beige vanity chair. "Want to know why security is standing outside my door? It's not because of wealth but just to make sure I can say what I have to say and you don't run," you hushed the last part behind him close to his ear.
"What?" he asked still lost this time for real. You ended your laps standing in front of him.
"I knew your whole plan to I used you. You were never going to meet my father or my mother. The silly boy thought he could play me like I was one of the many customers he scams," you said words laced with venom. He kept his mouth shut afraid if he spoke he'd make things worse for himself. "I have enough evidence to make sure this little business never leaves the ground and I'm sure you know who my father is. He won't take too kindly to your behavior," you said checking your nails and mocking him.
"So what's the catch?" he asked. You smiled, you had him right where you wanted him.
"You tell anyone about us I'll make sure you disappear and that business of yours dies before it breaths, understand?" you asked dropping your little act. You sent him a powerful glare a lick with your teeth to follow. He gulped nodding his head.
"Now go," you said watching him gather his stuff and run out your front door. Once you heard it lock you went to bed. That is how you execute a plan. Let's hope the same blueprint works for Jeno.
Once Jaemin arrived home Jisung hesitated on checking up on the male. He instead sat alone in his shared room. Jaemin must have bumped into someone in the living room because he heard another voice. He pressed his ear to the door opening it slightly.
He could see Jaemin holding his jacket on his side standing in front of Si Cheng and Jeno.
"How'd it go?" asked Jeno. Jaemin shrugged seeing him a smirk.
"To be honest it was a hit and quit," he said causing Si Cheng to chuckle, Jeno smirked shaking his head. "I swear all the boys keep leaving here with their heads in the clouds and then you all come up back to reality," commented Si Cheng. Jisung wanted to point and laugh in their faces. He knew why deep down each man came home upset regardless of whether they wore it on their skin or not.
He chuckled as he paid close attention. Jasmine's hand curled up in a fist as he spoke about 'the night with his mystery girl'
"It seems like everyone has a mystery special girl," Jeno said to both boys. "I wonder if I'll get one. Maybe I'll do better than you," he nudged Jaemin with his shoulder. Jaemin chuckled but didn't respond to him. Jisung felt the chuckle appear in his throat again. "You'll get one but I don't how good it will be for you," he said to himself quietly. How stupid were his close friends? He thought so blinded by what was in front of them.
However, the laughter was short-lived once Jaemin spoke again. "Hey Si Cheng when you went out with Y/n did she say anything weird to you?" he asked with a curious pout. Si Cheng shook his head, "Nah but she made some interesting sounds," he said dabbing up Jeno. They both laughed but Jaemin killed their joke.
He shook his head. "No, you dumbass. I mean like did she threaten you of anything?" he asked. Si Cheng shook his head with a weird look on his face. "No. Why so many questions?" he asked walking up to Jaemin. "You went with her or something?" he asked pressing up to the bigger man. Jaemin pressed up against him. "So what? If I did what would you do? You are known for lying, you probably lied about it," he retorted back.
Si Cheng poked the inside of his mouth with his tongue shaking his head. "Fuck you," he cursed pushing him. "Guys," Jeno began. Jaemin's eyes widened pushing Si Chenge back causing him to stumble. "Fuck me? No fuck you," he said but Jeno stopped him.
"Both of you enough. You two going off over some girl?" Si Cheng scoffed fixing himself up. "You know she's not some girl," he spat Jeno huffed letting the words die on his tongue because deep down he agreed.
"What's going on here?" Jisung heard Johnny's voice from the staircase. He could feel the tension fill up in his room. He gulped hearing Johnny come down the stairs of the house. Both men backed away from each other their heads hanging low. Jeno nervously stepped forward to explain.
“Nothing they were just being stupid,” Said Jeno. His voice had changed. He was a lot more serious, more stern like most of the men got when Johnny approached them. He was like their leader, all following in his footsteps on how to become a controlling, arrogant raging asshole of the world. Johnny walked over to the trio arms crossed over his puffed chest.
“Are you lying?” He asked. Jeno put his hands behind his back fiddling his fingers. He shook his head hair swaying side to side. “They were just arguing over a game,” he lied. Johnny looked at the two silent boys.
“Jaemin, Si Cheng is that the truth?” He asked with a calm voice.
They both lifted their heads looking at one another. Nodding they straighten themselves out. Jaemin cleared his throat as Si Cheng spoke.
“Yes it was but it’s over now. Jaemin was just leaving,” he said looking away from Johnny to meet Jaemin’s eye. He followed nodded his head and picked up his jacket from the ground.
“Yes I was just heading off to bed,” he said. Johnny knew they were lying but if he punished the men for every wrong thing they did what would be the point of the freedom they had in this house? He’s just become the reason they left home to live here, their mothers.
Johnny nodded off letting his arms fall with a smile. “Very well Goodnight you three,” he said all of them running off. Jisung closed the door once they came to close. Jeno and Jaemin go into the same shared bedroom and Si Cheng takes his new room upstairs.
After he scored you he got an upgrade.
Jisung closed his bedroom door completely Haechan soon reopened it coming home from a late-night class. He threw his bag on the ground and flopped right onto his bed. YangYang soon reopened the door skateboard in his head appeared all sweaty and gross.
Jisung sat on his bed picking up his phone to send you a text. He typed a small yet detailed paragraph of what had happened. Also warning that Jaemin may be onto you. But his finger hovered over the button. He knew by helping you he was destroying his friends but what would he gain from this?
He chewed his lip deciding that tonight his thoughts came from how tired he was from the day. So he deleted the text and chose to go to you and tell you in person. He placed his phone back down pulling back the sheets and sliding inside.
“Good luck,” he said causing YangYang to pick up his head.
“Good luck for what?” He asked. Jisung froze trying to quickly come up with something in his brain.
“Uh, I heard from Haechan that you have an exam tomorrow. So before I went to bed I was wishing you good luck,” he said quickly. He hoped YangYang believed it.
Thankfully he did. Responding with a smile. “Thanks, man,” he said before gathering his things to go shower.
Jisung let out a sigh laying his head down and drifting off to sleep only thinking of you.
And how that “good luck” was for Jeno.

Chapter Two: This Week's Runners-up! ~
And our (very strong) runners-up this week are @batatafilosofal, @hanavesinauttija, and @spooky-bard!

@batatafilosofal — Alesha Defies Death (Alesha, Who Smiles at Death)
I think this card, despite being one of my favorites, suffers from being just a little too out there for the winner’s circle. Despite that, it’s a tight margin, and I genuinely wanted to make more space for winners this week. Alas, restrictions and creativity—restrictions like mana, which mean that this could be an RWW Jeskai splash in the Khans world, weirdly enough? What I really like is how you made that overlap okay with your mana necessities, and on top of that the way that you placed this card in the world is just plain cool. It’s the timeline’s story that was unbroken no matter where the clans went, a story that echoes.
That ultimate is a bit crazy, but no matter, I would’ve done two. The first ability, I believe, should be worded like Urza’s Saga: “Alesha Defies Death gains “Creatures you control have first strike.”” Bit wordy but you can adjust the text box sizes or whatever. Middle chapter is awesome still. So where does that lead us? I want to commend you first and foremost for really spinning a new idea onto an older story. Surprising and impressive all at once.

@hanavesinauttija — Isperia, Assassin’s Trophy (Assassin’s Trophy)
Not much to say that’s not already present, right? Phenomenal job making this card out to be the actual trophy part of the trophy; honestly the original spell seems slightly odder in its namesake compared to this card. It’s great to see it be a monument, almost. The reflection in the flavor text of that change is both welcome and natural. Vraska’s stony return is fascinating and speaks to the power of this moment’s presence. It lends an almost in medias res quality; we return to Ravnica again, and boom, there’s no Isperia. Here’s her trophy. What happened? We don’t get to see the assassination, and that’s all the more mysterious.
It’s also a great way to get rid of your lands, heh. Excess lands? Sac ‘em and weep. This card is great for getting death triggers as well as mitigating the damage from tokens. Your own tokens biting the dust is great, too! Drawing and gaining life is excessively powerful when done this repeatedly, but if you have a 10/10 trampler coming after you, it ain’t gonna do as much good. But it could be okay if you draw into something! Who are we kidding, though. Maybe you get burned out instead and nobody attacks, heck. That’s not gonna happen in limited, though, and this card is a weirdly interactive warning for all who dare want to come by and take what Vraska rightfully stoned up. I’d have to see this one in action, honestly. Perhaps the discouragement from attacking is a bit much.

@spooky-bard — Adversary’s Executor (Grand Crescendo)
Tumblr media
Heck it. This card’s a personal favorite of mine this week. You got this guy that I’m totally not imagining as a handsome ogreish bouncer coming in and wrecking the party, and, uh... Lost my train of thought. This card’s still absolutely amazing, though, and I’m glad it’s a rare and a stunner of a bomb. It’s rare that you see a card with such a clear pre-combat vibe to it, a threat to end all threats. The citizens clear out, and now even the big boys are going to have to contend with the hustle of an ogre who’s been sold to the highest bidder, that being Mob Nixilis.
Having the treasures be tapped is probably the best option, so good call there, whoof. I wouldn’t call it a boardwipe but it makes the 4/3s that you’ve been amassing all the crazier. Menacing into some chump-blockers feels awesome for sure, and then the combination of Riveteer Treasures and Maestro kick-you-while-you’re-down-ing just ends up being awesome, too. I think this is a great other-side-of-the-page card for sure. It has nothing to do with the mechanics of its predecessor and everything to do with its presence. Admittedly, killing a bunch of 1/1s is relevant, but I mean in terms of the cards’ goals, that those are antithetical. One of them wants to be the life of the party, and this card? This card wants to clear the room, because it’s bashing and looting time. The show’s hardly over, but it’s sure as heck stopped.

general rules for customers in a retail store that actually make our lives so much easier:
i've been in retail most of my working career and people do some fucked up things that i'm just like...okay i was basically raised by wolves and i would never do some of the shit you guys do (talking to you, lady who left bloody tampon underwear in the tj maxx fitting room). so here are rules to behave in public just in case you didn't know.
(1) if you don't want to put something back where you found it, give it to one of us. flag us down or give it to us at checkout. it saves us time and doesn't make the store look trashed. throwing it in a random place means we have to spend more than an hour after we close the store hunting for out of place items and putting them back. i've heard people claim they're doing this to help us have jobs. putting aside that it doesn't even make sense, no the fuck you're not. you're not thinking of job creation when you put something in the wrong spot, you're not thinking of anything. you're being lazy. we're literally not even mad at you if you give it to us. some us us work 3 jobs or have kids to pick up or have chronic disabilities and want to go home. please don't make us have to spend time cleaning up after you. (also why do some of you put something almost in the right spot when the correct peg is right next to it? it's not so hard to just put it in the correct spot.)
(2) don't just throw shit on the ground. i work in a halloween store and people throw masks and hats on the ground. that's gross. would you want to buy a mask people might've been stepping on? why are you throwing it on the ground when you can put it back?
(3) things that go on pegs have holes at the top of the packaging. those holes are used to slide onto the pegs. don't put a mask on the peg by hanging it from the elastic band or by putting the mask itself on it. the cardboard packaging is what goes on the peg. it's not that hard.
(4) if you pulled something out of the costume, we're not asking you to refold everything and make it nice (nobody has time for that) but please put it back in the package and don't throw it on the floor. i know the packaging can be a bit confusing but slide the cardboard piece in first, then put the clothes in the side that doesn't have the picture so other customers can still see what kind of costume it is and so it doesn't look like trash.
(5) don't touch animatronics you haven't paid for. they're fragile and we have 5 broken ones. no you can't pull the face off an animatronic to use as a halloween costume
(6) this one isn't exclusive to halloween stores but go a month early to get stuff for holidays. if you wait til the week before or god forbid the day of any holiday, the good stuff will be sold out and it will be your own fault. by the time halloween rolls around, most major retailers have backrooms full of thanksgiving and christmas. there's no sense in getting mad at us for not having anything good left the day of.
(7) please don't walk in wearing nothing but a banana hammock. can't believe i need to say this
(8) if a store has what looks like low shelving in front of the register that's in a maze shape, they want you to walk through the maze to get to the register. yes it's partially to tempt you with useless items but the maze shape helps lines not get super out of control. if you just have an uncontained clump of a line, the store can get confusing and crowded very quickly. making the line wind through the maze gets more people into a smaller space. please don't just cut to the front even if it looks like no one is in line. go through the maze. and if you have to wait in line, wait at the end of the maze, do not just stand directly behind someone. give them space while they make a transaction. can't believe this has to be said. i miss when we had rules to stand 6 feet apart sometimes.
(9) retail employees are not responsible for an item being out of stock or your card not being accepted
(10) check your coupons to make sure they're not out of date and don't expect employees to have extras at the register
(11) put down your phone during the checkout process that's super rude oh my god
(12) pay attention in line. don't stand in a clump talking. don't mosey over super slowly either, move in a timely fashion because people are waiting behind you
(13) don't hit on employees unless you know them
(14) make sure you had money cashapped to you before you get to the register. don't hold up the line by calling someone to get money
(15) don't be gross. the fitting room is no place to clip toenails or masturbate
(16) store policy isn't the fault of the employees. return policies don't always mean you have a few days from time of purchase to bring it back. particularly with seasonal stores or holiday items, the receipt will specify that there is no money back on those items after a certain point because the odds of selling that stuff after the holiday is very slim.
these are such simple rules. wish people would follow them.

Noble Musketeer Story: Hachikyu
Episode 1: Hachikyu’s Suffering
Hachikyu: Tch, this is bad...! Shit, shit...! I seriously have no luck today!!
Hachikyu: Oh, (Player Name)! Hey, you don’t happen to have any yakisoba bread, do you?
Master:
Yakisoba bread?
I don’t have any...
Hachikyu: Damn it, there goes my last hope...! What am I gonna do... go back to the classroom like this...? It’d be certain death if I do...! That’s not happening!!
Master:
What’s going on...?
What’s wrong?
Hachikyu: Ah... yeah. Murata told me to buy him yakisoba bread for lunch, but...
Hachikyu: I wound up dozing off, and by the time I opened my eyes, it was all sold out.
Hachikyu: On top of that, they somehow figured out that I’d read Arisaka’s diary... If they find me, they’ll kill me for sure...!
Hachikyu: Hahh... even after coming to a military academy, a gunman’s life is super hard mode.
Hachikyu: ...nh! That’s it! You gotta help me escape!
Master:
Why?
Nope.
(CHOICE 1) Hachikyu: On the mega-rare chance we get caught, if you’re there, you’d make a good buffer, y’know?
(CHOICE 2) Hachikyu: That fast!? I’m begging you, so at least ask why!
Hachikyu: I mean, it’d suck to have to re-summon me and hurt yourself worse, right? So keep me from being killed!
Murata: Heaven’s vengeance is slow but sure. ...oh, Arisaka. Did you not hear the voice of that useless scoundrel just now?
Arisaka: I heard him over here. Arisaka will lead the way.
Hachikyu: Shit! They’re here! C’mon, let’s go!
Hachikyu roughly grabbed (Player Name)’s arm and took off running.
Hachikyu: C’mon, over here!
Hachikyu: *pant*... *pant*... Let’s hide here for now.
Hachikyu’s hiding spot was in a PE warehouse near the sports field.
Hachikyu: They won’t find us in here... I hope.
Hachikyu: If they do find us, it’s your turn. I’ll be counting on you.
Master:
Am I supposed to apologize...?
I guess it can’t be helped.
(CHOICE 1) Hachikyu: Are you an idiot? If you apologize, they’ll just be like, “Oh, is that so?” and not forgive me at all.
(CHOICE 2) Hachikyu: Alright! I can seriously count on you, right...?
Master:
By the way...
How long are you going to keep your hand there?
Hachikyu: Hand... woah!? Why were you so close!?
Hachikyu: Wait, I was the one who grabbed you, I guess... Um, s-sorry for being gross...
Hachikyu: ......
—about ten minutes later.
Hachikyu: ...you think we’re okay now? Maybe those two have gotten tired of looking, gave up, and gone back to the classroom...
Hachikyu: For now, let’s see if we’re clear.
Hachikyu: Hell yeah! No sign of Murata or Arisaka! Hey, (Player Name), sorry for suddenly dragging you into—
Student 1: Hey, look over there.
Student 2: That’s the one who was with the World Empire...
Several students with grim looks in their eyes came toward Hachikyu and (Player Name), and stood surrounding them.
Student 3: Hey, you... you used to be the World Empire’s Musketeer, didn’t you?
Student 1: You don’t belong here. How could you support the tyrannical regime of the World Empire, then just turn around and come to this school as if nothing’s wrong...!?
Student 2: Your old memories aren’t gone just because your Master’s changed, right? How do you feel about those old days?
Student 4: Do you feel regret? If you do, your words and actions should show it loud and clear!
Hachikyu: ......
Master:
Can we please calm down?
This isn’t doing any good.
Student 1: Are you gonna defend this guy? You know what the World Empire did, don’t you?
Student 3: So tell us, how do you feel!? Answer truthfully!
Hachikyu: ...hah.
Hachikyu: ...when a pencil writes a word, is that word what the pencil thinks?
Student 4: What are you talking about!? The pencil doesn’t think, and it doesn’t write on its own, either.
Hachikyu: Are “that” and “me” really any different?
Hachikyu: Noble Musketeers may be treated like we’re so important, but we’re just guns. We’re summoned and used by our Masters— it’s a totally different position than you mighty humans.
Hachikyu: There’s my refute. See ya later.
Student 3: ...w-wait! You’re not just a gun. You’re a Musketeer! You’re not the same as a gun or a pencil!
Student 3: You can think, speak, and move on your own. Were your intentions truly unrelated to what you did in the past?
Hachikyu: ......
Kyoudou: Hey, you over there! What’s this commotion? Personal fights are against school rules.
Student 1: ...., Professor Kyoudou. Nothing’s going on. We’re just talking.
Student 3: ...sometime, we’re going to get that answer.
Hachikyu: ......

the main reason i haven't been posting much lately is i got pathfinder: wrath of the righteous for my birthday and it's eaten my brain. i suggested amy play it, and offered to compile a mini guide, based on the immense amount of walkthrough reading and trial-and-error i have endured to get the most out of this clunky but enjoyable game. this is that guide. feel free to read or reply with your own tips, tho technically i'm just posting this here so it won't get lost in our messages.
in order (so you can know where to skip to) we have
general tips
mods
combat tips
crusade tips
general build tips
party build tips
chapter 1 tips
chapter 2 tips
chapter 3 tips
chapter 4 tips
general story tips
the secret ending
general tips
if you want a more detailed and spoilery guide, check out neoseeker or search the pathfinder_kingmaker subreddit (which is the main source for neoseeker's guides). the wiki kinda sucks.
the toybox mod is highly, highly useful. it's basically a dozen mods in one: it lets you get achievements with mods enabled, changes the dumb alignment system, allows polyamory, lets you cheat stuff into your inventory, respec characters on the fly, hear dialogue interjections from absent party members, etc. i strongly recommend it.
save like crazy. good god, the backtracking i have done.
owlcat's sense of pacing is real weird. like apparently in kingmaker they completely reverse the usual rpg logic and you need to do main quests before you can kick it with side quests (...usually). wrath of the righteous is a little better, but still kind of weird and uneven. i'll try to give headsups in the story tips section, but if in doubt, check if there's a lil red hourglass symbol in the journal. that means you need to do that before the main questline is done. they also usually warn you if a main quest is a point-of-no-return for the chapter.
the alignment system is...pretty dumb, imo. as i understand it, "good" and "evil" choices actually pull you towards neutral good and neutral evil, so you can end up like a guy i saw on the subreddit recently, who ended up losing his paladin powers while being explicitly praised by an angel for "pleasing heaven." bc it knocked him into neutral good. anyway, this is why i strongly recommed turning on toybox's "fix alignment system" setting, which should make it work the way you'd expect it to.
have at least one companion with high perception (pets are great for this, and every character rolls independently so more is better) and keep your finger on that tab key, brother. there are hidden shinies every goddamn where.
the puzzles are plentiful and most of them are very bad and annoying. i don't recommend bothering trying to figure them out yourself, just look up a solution. i say this as somebody who usually rawdogs bioware's tower of hanoi obsession.
while resting in the field, there are roles that call for one character to have high lore (religion), one to have high stealth, one to have high knowledge (world), one to have high knowledge (arcana) OR (iirc) lore (religion), and two to have high perception. one character can't fill multiple roles at once. that said, the knowledge rolls are optional (crafting/buffs), and the perception roles won't be needed if stealth does well enough. main takeaway being: try to keep at least one character with you that has a high religion score, and one that has a high stealth score, so you can rest peacefully.
if you see a nice item in the shop, it will probably be available in later acts. i busted my ass trying to buy shit early, in case i lost access to the vendors who sold it, but i've found most things are available again later from a different vendor. there are exceptions, but like. don't worry too much. the main upside of buying stuff early is that in some cases, it allows you to get two. main ones to look out for, off the top of my head, are the icy protector and red salamander rings. you can get two of those. broadly i'll say that, if you're debating what to buy in chapter 1, start with hawke and joran's stock.
when you leave an area, a prompt comes up that allows you to snag all the loose gear left on the map. you can sometimes use this to get around weight limits by dropping stuff and picking it back up via this menu, right before you leave. that said, buy bags of holding as soon as you find them.
"bulk selling" allows you to gather all the vendor trash in one go, which saves a lot of time and helps show what is, in fact, vendor trash. which is smth i struggled with a lot, early on. sell those giant spider legs, they ain't used for shit in this game.
in general, if it ain't unique and you're not using it, sell it. i've even sold some uniques i know i'll never use, like that diadem only usable by kineticists.
mods
unity mod manager
toybox. strongly recommend turning on "fix alignment," "allow achievements," and "no jealousy"
modfinder. a tool that lets you browse, search, (un)install, and update mods from both the nexus and github quickly and easily.
won't bother linking them all (should be able to find them in modfinder if you're interested) but for extra subclasses, feats, etc, i use tabletop tweaks, expanded content, and tome of the firebird. i find it kind of tricky and glitchy, but visual adjustment 2 allows changing portraits and character models. respecmod allows you to fully respec characters, rather than being restricted to respeccing them from the level you recruited them at (e.g., you could make seelah not a paladin, or choose new hexes and spells for ember's first 3 or 4 levels).
note that when updates hit, your mods may need to be updated, and since they get baked into your save, you can be SOL if a mod you're using is broken by an update and been abandoned by the author. so maybe don't be like me and download like 4 different class content mods. (that said, in my experience so far, mod authors have been very fast at updating for patches. the toybox dev in particular is quick as hell, thank christ.)
combat tips
the difference between life and death in this game is buffing. try to get a grip on what buffs do or do not stack, and which ones can be cast in advance so you don't have to spend a turn on it. some good ones in my experience: mage armor, protection from alignment, resist/protection from elements, all the stat buffs (e.g. cat's grace), magical vestment, barkskin, haste.
pets are god. dogs, wolves, and velociraptors are especially great, because they can trip enemies (w/o needing to select the "trip" feat), which makes the enemy lose a turn (they have to spend it getting up) and opens them up to bonus attacks from all party members in melee range (attack of opportunity). mounts (esp horses) also rock because their AC and health essentially act as a barrier, so make 'em as chunky as possible. investing in better stats (via the boon companion and/or mythical beast feats) is recommended, esp if you're multiclassing.
don't forget to buff pets! i give them all mage armor and magical vestment, just as a baseline, and if a tough battle is coming i also use bull's strength/cat's grace and uh. animal embiggerer. whatever the name is, i forgot and don't feel like looking it up. both camellia and nenio should be able to get it. oh, barkskin is good, too, i have lann cast his on his pet, since he's rarely on the frontlines and has great AC. magic fang, esp the improved version that lasts for hours, is great.
scrolls are fun and easy to use. they can fail if your character doesn't have a high enough "use magic" skill, but there's no skill check if it's a class spell (i.e., one their class can learn, not necessarily one they already know). this basically means you get a free casting of that spell, no spell slot required. arcane int-based casters can also learn spells from scrolls (tho you lose those extra spells if you respec and will have to learn them again).
scrolls are also good for having access to cures for some of the nastier debuffs, especially in chapter 1, where you don't have access to a cleric unless you rolled one yourself or specced lann into it. buying some emergency remove blindness and restoration scrolls are recommended.
potions can basically act as a free spell, just like scrolls, but with the added bonus of not requiring any "use magic" skill. so have your fighters and rogues etc glug away
crusade tips
the key is to recruit either chief ageboya or setsuna shy as your general (and, if you create a second force, recruit whichever of the two you didn't pick first). place melee units to stand guard in front of archers, and use the archers + your general's scorching ray/fireball to wreck the shit out of enemy units before they can even reach your melee lines. once they get healing spells and some ranks in master of maneuver (+1 unit per army) shit really pops off.
don't accept heavy losses. reload.
never feel like you have to fight an enemy army that isn't marked green. just wait.
bite the bullet and give irabeth that 7k for extra soldiers, it's worth it.
my fav units so far are hellknights, clerics, shieldbearers, and any kind of archer but especially marksmen and mongrel archers. pick up more of these units often.
army get strong from more guys + the general leveling up
it can be difficult to figure out a good rhythm for moving your party vs moving your armies, but you pick it up after awhile. basically, have your army move until they run out of points, then send your party wherever they need to go. once the clock at the top of the page hits midnight, take control of your armies again to hit "continue" so they continue moving. switch as often as necessary to get everybody where they need to be.
when building outposts, start with the engineering workshop (lowers costs for all subsequent buildings), then start placing a supply cart in basically every outpost you've captured. inns can generate income, but only if you place them before/instead of garrison buildings.
i would also recommend saving the left block of space in drezen for the 4-square buildings, and building stuff like hospitals and apothecaries in the lower block of space, leaving the main block for military units and buff buildings. but that's just me.
don't feel like you have to wipe every enemy off the map. due to the way morale mechanics work, it's good to spread battles out a bit.
in chapter 3, it's better to spend funds on buildings and mercs than trainable troops (e.g. footmen, archers, light scouts). try to have a decent number of forts built up by the end of the act.
save a few decrees that boost morale for a rainy day. just in case.
there's a limit to how many forts and bastions you can have, so think strategically about which ones you want to upgrade. having the ability to teleport to different parts of the map can really help cut down on travel time (assuming you want to).
you can save while on the world map (tho only one save per in-game calendar day for some reason), and it's a good idea to save before entering drezen, because often scenes in the citadel will trigger automatically when you load in.
general build tips
i recommend tabletop tweaks and respecmod. the former adds some good content from tabletop (the pet feats in particular are great), and respecmod allows you to fully respec your companions (goodbye, subpar class choice and un-respeccable character levels!) or respec your main character without having to fully remake them from scratch and lose their 'biography' section. i can grab the relevant settings for you if need be (took a lot of trial and error to get a handle on that).
dexterity is king. high dex builds are generally much sturdier than armor-based ones. part of why cat's grace is arguably the best of the stat buff spells.
point-blank + precise shot are basically necessary for everyone except strict melee characters. even spellcasters have to take these as soon as possible, because many spells count as ranged attacks and frankly you don't have enough slots early on not to use a crossbow anyway.
due to an exploit, lots of people take the crane style feats to buff AC. it goes dodge -> improved unarmed strike -> crane wing/riposte/etc. i don't really think they're necessary on normal difficulty (and tabletop tweaks might remove the exploit by default? haven't checked) but it's good to know.
another very good feat chain is weapon focus -> dazzling display -> shatter defenses, especially if you decide to go with the trickster mythic like i did and get the persuasion 1 trick, or have a skald or dirge bard in your party.
the outflank teamwork feat is also fantastic. mostly for melee fighters, but if you have a feat to spare on a ranged fighter, you may as well (iirc they can proc but not benefit directly from it). make sure to get it on pets, too, including mounts (they count as being in range with their rider at all times!). pets need 3 int to choose teamwork feats, so either give them all a boost to intelligence, or wait until you have a +2 int tiara and keep it in the inventory to put on them for levelups (as i do).
archmage armor and abundant spellcasting are very good mythic abilities for spell casters. you probably want to prioritize them. note that archmage armor only works if YOU cast mage armor on yourself (e.g., don't have a party member do it for you), but the bonus still applies if it's via potion or scroll.
cleaving shot is a great mythic ability for ranged characters. it's free AOE.
if you get tabletop tweaks, there's a short feat chain that's smth like nature spirit -> animal companion, which is a pretty low-cost way to get an animal companion without multiclassing. go wild. who needs to fit thru doorways.
combat reflexes and ever ready mythic ability are excellent choices for melee units, especially with trip and outflank. extra attacks of opportunity basically let your melee units say "oh no you don't" when enemies try to run past them to hit your ranged characters.
if you want to plan future builds, you can always save, then use toybox to grant yourself full levels to plot out the possibilities. i did that a lot.
party builds
seelah: a lot of people say seelah is a mediocre tank, but there's actually a pretty easy way to fix that: a tiny dip in oracle. i leveled her up as a paladin until 5, when she gets her horse, then took a level of oracle and chose nature mystery, which gives her access to an ability called "nature's whispers," which lets her use charisma rather than dex for AC. ta da! as a bonus, there's an "extra revelation" mythic feat option, so i also grabbed her the one that gives boosts to nearby animals. now she's one of the strongest members of my party. for the oracle curse, most people would rec wolf-scarred face, but i don't like that for story reasons, so i chose the one that affects her movement speed, because she's on her horse 24/7 anyway. "pranked" is also ok. if you don't use tabletop tweaks (or turn the fix off in settings) you can also take a dip in scaled fist monk, to stack the charisma AC bonus (i didn't).
camellia: pretty solid all-rounder, generally best as off-tank and skill monkey. i recently respecced her original subclass from spirit hunter to shadow shaman because i think it makes more sense, and paired with a two level dip into alchemist vivisectionist, i think i've finally got her in a good place after trying out a pretty subpar build. that said, straight shaman is not bad for her; general strategy is to give her iceplant hex and the icy protector ring to boost her armor early on, then have her slap on some buffs and go melee with her rapier.
lann: i recommend either giving him only one level of his default class, or, perhaps better yet, fully respeccing him into crusader cleric and/or demonslayer ranger and/or wandering marksman hunter. it makes more sense in-universe imo, and it's more useful (zen archer monk has some abilities that are kind of neat, but by endgame they have accuracy issues that weigh them down). i went ranger and it's been pretty swell, but i think next time i'll make him a cleric and give him "impossible domain: animal" ASAP so he can get back the sweet, sweet velociraptor buddy i gave him (true MVP of the party).
wenduag: sadly can't give too much advice here, but i've heard that mutation warrior + throwing axes turns her into an absolute beast. (note, however, that it takes a stupidly long time to get good throwing axes 💀 baby need CARNAGE)
woljif: haha sneak attack go brrrr. generally focus on self buffs (e.g., mirror image) and stuff like grease and haste and he'll do just fine. as long as another character is flanking the same enemy, or he's behind his target, he can dish out good damage, and sense vitals can fill the gaps in-between. that said, despite the name, i don't rec having him go arcane trickster, they're more of a blaster class. "slippery mind" rogue ability is a good idea, along with sneak attack debuffs.
ember: my baby. my joy. light of my life. against murder but very good at it! i personally leveled her as a mystic theurge (YOU get to be an oracle! YOU get to be an oracle! everybody gets a dip in ORACLE!!!), but that has devolved into a very delicate balancing act of spell selection, so you'll probably just want to level her as a pure witch, or witch with a minor dip in loremaster (so she can get, say, greater command, a spell available to oracles and clerics). pop that ring of the red salamander on her, give her weapon focus: rays and a few fire-based feats, maybe some enchantment ones to give her some very in-character non-violent CC options, and she's good as gold. pay attention to the description of hexes. some of them, like evil eye, are reduced to a single round if the enemy saves...which means, if you follow it up with a cackle each round, you can keep them debuffed forever, save or no save. protective luck and fortune are also great if you use toybox and toggle the option to have cackle extend for 10min out of combat. you can have ember buff-cackle-buff-cackle each party member to get universal advantage for hours.
nenio: ok look. scroll savant is not a bad subclass, i am told. but i highly recommend instead fully respeccing her as an arcanist brownfur transmuter. it makes just as much sense for her as a character, and they truly are the best buffers in the game. i am terrified to go anywhere without her now. she can juice all the stat boost spells, AND she can share "range: personal" buffs like shield or hurricane bow (tho i've recently learned seamantle doesn't work, i assume as an oversight 😑). she's effectively a spontaneous caster but can also learn spells from scrolls. as with vanilla nenio, all her lore and knowledge scores are crazy high, she can use basically any magical device (hello, spare wands!), and can take feats/gear to boost her illusion caster level to "fuck you, die." i'm telling you, brownfur transmuter nenio is the blueprint.
daeran: the king of healing. also an extremely solid buffer. honestly just go full oracle, maybe give him a second mystery. i went "bones" because, as a dhampir, i need the mcfucking help. it turns out animate dead is great for throwing meat(less)shields to buy time and protect squishy caster types. truly the backbone of the party.
sosiel: i used "impossible domain: animal" to give him a nice horsey, to keep him safe, since he is basically a dex-free tin can. "community" is also a very popular additional domain choice for him, since "guarded hearth" is apparently a good buff (can't say, have only remembered to use it once). keep him with glaives, there are a lot of good ones and the specialization is free, so...
regill: this little man slays. that said, you're way better off leveling him some more as an armiger, or dipping into cavalier, than giving him more levels in hellknight. i gave mine beastrider so i could put him on a smilodon, purely because that's fucking metal, and he rages around murdering shit. generally you'll want to give him two-handed weapon feats (to continue specializing in his weird hammer thing) and finesse stuff, tho you can compensate for his low strength pretty easily with the "enlarge person" spell, if you want to skip weapon finesse.
arue: honestly op. unless you really wanna try respeccing her from start as a bard or smth, just let her do her thing. "instant enemy" and "ranger's bond" or w/e it's called let her give good damage buffs to the whole party. ranged dps queen.
greybor: personally, i lightly respecced him to use throwing axes, but if you want to go vanilla, crpgguy on youtube has a solid build to check out. if you want to go with my build, keep him a slayer but choose ranged perks (except manyshot), two-weapon fighting, and weapon focus/specialization throwing axes. oh, and same recs as woljif for rogue abilities. i recently got him the ability to damage constitution with his sneak attacks and it's glorious.
chapter 1 tips
when you get to kenabres, an invisible timer starts counting down to a big, tough battle. you'll want to a) put it off as long as possible, and b) prep for it. online sources and my own experience leave the exact mechanics of the countdown kind of a mystery. best guess is that it relies on number of rests, so try to go as long as you can without them. some quests fail or change if you don't do them first, so try to do the following before the battle procs:
recruit woljif in the basement.
recruit ember in the market square.
scout the tower of estrod and kill the enemies there, if you can. this may or may not buy you time, i'm not sure.
meet prelate hulrun and settle the issue between him and ramien (i suggest showing hulrun the sword, and strongly suggest bringing ember).
go to the burning library (there's checks here for perception, lore (religion), and persuasion (diplomacy) you'll probably want to pass.)
as for prep: generally gain as much experience as you can so you'll be as strong as possible before it procs. grease and to a lesser extent create pit are useful for choke points and are available to both woljif and nenio, and can be bought or crafted into scrolls beforehand if need be. just remember you have no access to selective metamagic yet, so try to keep your own guys from slipping around all silly by either having them attack from range behind the trap, or stand in front of it (i went ranged, even for seelah). besides the very obvious chokepoints the game makes you aware of, you can also lay these down at the enemy spawnpoints by the ladders (though you will affect the allied soldiers, too, so keep that in mind). focus on the alchemists; every other enemy is secondary. kill or disable them as quickly as possible.
chapter 2 tips
if you saved the disciples of desna in kenabres and sang along with them in act 1, then solve the (pretty easy) puzzle at the altar of desna at the base of the lost chapel, you can recruit a very useful companion early. look for them in the drezen prison.
chapter 2 is less time-sensitive than chapter 1, but you get a lil reward if you finish it within 2 months. not too hard, imo
try to put off moving the camp to just south of drezen, because a whole bunch of shit kinda pops off at once.
pay attention to nurah. pop into her tent a few times. a high perception skill will get you far.
the only things really worth grabbing in leper's smile are the robe of silky veil (you can use savescum with quicksave to look for it without losing time) and the halfling in the crevice.
honestly i recommend cranking down the difficulty for a lot of the lost chapel quest because the game is keeping track of npc casualties and those motherfuckers pop like grapes if you don't nerf the shit outta enemies, even on normal difficulty. one fight in particular i kept having 3-4 out of 5 immediately die in the first round, even when i got a good initiative roll and came out the gate with controlled fireball. very frustrating experience.
to stop the constantly reviving undead in that one cave, you need to grab the interactable object near the center of the area.
chapter 3 tips
at the beginning of chapter 3, immediately head south, towards the chapel, and keep going until you get two not-so-random encounters.
then head towards molten scar (just south of greengates) with seelah to get a time sensitive quest done.
take arue to wintersun. (probably take someone with a good lore (nature) skill, too. and somebody with fire spells. dear god. you will need so much fire.) don't feel like you need to complete the whole map in one go, you WILL have to come back at least once for one of the side quests.
blackwater has a lot of tough combat. prep for electricity damage.
chapter 4 tips
still in it, so my advice at this point is just to start with battlebliss. the story flows more naturally that way, tho they don't tell you that.
you can turn the fleshmarkets into a tarantino movie, but buy the shit you want from the vendors first. or don't, and cheat it into your inventory via toybox. up to you. if you need the funds, returning to the midnight isles dlc can help.
as it turns out, you only get the one chance to free suture, so if you wanna do that, don't be like me and go "oobh i got plany off time"
general story tips
don't be a buzzkill at daeran's party by making him work. try to keep things fun, and tell him you think he can change or that he can trust you. he likes it if you banter playfully with him, and will interject during a lot of quests (i particularly enjoyed his comments in the grey garrison).
lann's mostly straightforward from what i can tell, but you can miss some of his content annoyingly easily. :/ make sure to check in with him every now and then (i feel like his dialogue updates more than any other companion so far, but there's no notification from the game when that happens, so you just have to swing by and talk to him to see). and take him camping with you, if you want to romance him. there's also no indication of this from quest markers or anything, but at one point he'll ask you to meet him back at your home base, but when you arrive, there'll just be a note in his usual spot. look for him by the local tavern. (not sure if this is romance-specific, but just in case)
wenduag has a massive humiliation kink
don't be judgey of greybor, and pay him what he's worth (or more, if you've got the money and are feeling generous, like i was). make sure to have at least 12,500 gold on hand when you go on the hunt with him, or you'll lose the chance to recruit him permanently.
bring your favs to the desolate hovel! the combat isn't hard, and there are some juicy character moments. kicking myself for not bringing ember, because i bet hers is great (thanks to toybox, i did get to enjoy a cute bit of dialogue between her and daeran).
the secret ending
i'm gonna try to lay out the requirements with as few spoilers as possible. if you don't wanna know, just skip this. i may be missing some stuff, or including some stuff that isn't strictly required, but this is my best understanding of it, distilled as much as possible.
note that unlocking the secret ending does not mean you have to actually choose it.
choose the crossbow in the prologue
keeping the purple stone knife is advised but not required
pick up every midnight bolt you see, and only use them against demon lords. (if you don't get a "new" crystal, you wasted the bolt on an invalid target and need to reload.) apparently if you use one on the big bad himself, you need to grab the crystal as quickly as possible or it'll disappear?
finish your mythic questline all the way through. don't choose the "legend" mythic.
help the storyteller collect elven notes
don't reject the idea of learning from demons
do not enable auto-crusade
research the sword of valor (first available in chapter 3), the crystals (first available in chapter 5), areelu's drafts (not sure, probably 5), and the records of pulura's stargazers (maybe as early as 3 for angels, 5 for everybody else) via crusade management
grab the book, accept its power, find a way to put it back together
have high perception, ask areelu about suture (not an option in the first convo with her, i think this is in chapter 4)
tell hep she shouldn't have trusted her dad
in the secret lab (not on the first visit, since they weren't there when i got there), click on the crib, drawings, and textbooks in that order, which will give you gloves. take said gloves.
pour the secret sauce over the summoning circle in the lab. kill the demon outside the summoning circle for convenience's sake
save the library
the ending date is important. enter the final area between 16 and 21 gozran. doesn't matter what year.
don't waste time examining areelu's wards, launch directly into "stop! listen to me!"

Chapter 4: In the Middle of Night
Unsure of where I stand currently, I quietly follow behind the bandit shorty. I don’t even see the point of asking his name; him giving a truthful answer seems unlikely. I can’t help tugging at my hair as I say my goodbyes to it as we walk. I don’t recall hair magic being often mentioned in the original story, but perhaps I just hadn’t gotten to it yet. Before I was thrown into this world head first. Practical wise it could just be sold to an artisan to do with what they like. Or this guy just has some sort of link to a hair fetish community; can’t help cringing at the thought of that. Staring at the back of his head where his own hair is messily tied back. It might need a comb but his hair is thick and wavy, it seems much nicer than mine.
As if feeling my eyes, he spares a glace back at me. “Whatever your scheming, can you stop before you stare right through me.”
I widen my stride to catch up to him, “What do you mean schemes?! I’m the one who was robbed and stranded thanks to you.”
“pft- Acting as if your so helpless. I’m still not buying’ it, or should I not count the wounds from that damn bird and you”. He lifts his crudely wrapped arm, practically shoving it in my face.
I can feel my face twitch as before I know it, we’ve begun bickering back and forth. Fighting proving a way to pass the time. The once quiet trek now noisy as we throw accusations back and forth until the sun begins to fall. I expect the bandit to stop but he pushes on, as it gets darker, I begin stumbling more unable to see the forest floor clearly now. I half expect this to be apart of some trick until a sudden flooding of purple light surround us. The dagger in his hand is the source of the light; he offers his other hand to help me up. I have no choice but to stick closer to him, often still catching my self on his shoulder when the roots of the trees trip me. The faint glow from the dagger helps but not enough to make travelling in the dark a real option. I begin to slow down feeling the deep need to quit moving and rest. His rough hand grabs my wrist and he stubbornly drags me further. It pisses me off but I’m getting too tired to care.
The moon comes into view as we come to a break in the trees, a small hut sits in the clearing just visible with the moonlight. A tired grunt of relief comes from him as he pulls me into the hut before finally letting me go. I sit down where I stand, while he uses the dagger’s glow to search for a proper lantern to light. The warm golden glow of a fire light stretches across me as he lights a fire pit in the center of the room. The hut proves bigger than I could tell in the dark, a neat fire place at its center. A hole in the top peak of the ceiling lets the rising smoke out as the fire begins warming the room. I still can’t quiet find the energy to move from my spot by the doorway. Perhaps I’ll find the will to crawl a bit closer to the fire and warm up, but my eyes feel heavy. A smack to my right shoulder only barley keeps me from falling asleep. I hear an annoying voice go from mocking to worried, followed by a sudden sense of weightlessness. When my head hits something incredibly soft everything fades to black.
The smell of something cooking rouses me from my deep sleep, a stinging ache follows not long after from my right shoulder. I bury my face further into the furs I’m lying in as I open my eyes, I shift in the fur cocoon I seem to be wrapped in. Trying to move my right arm shoots pain down my back, I let out a few curses looking around to place my pains blame on someone. Looking guilty the bandit stirs a pot that’s been placed over the fire. When my cursing subsides, he finally glances at me.
Casting his eyes back when our eyes meet. “I’d favour that side a bit, I had to stich you’ a few times. The pots nearly done cooking; I’ll help you up so you can have a bite.”
I’m somewhat taken aback by the sudden U-turn in treatment. He was the whole reason I’d ended up walking half a day through a un traveled forest. Why the sudden guilt now? Unsure of how much I could trust him I carefully sat up on my own, winching a few times when I moved wrong. My shirts are gone; I throw a suspicious glance in the bandit’s general direction. Then try to get a look at my shoulder, which had been covered in wrapping.
“Can’t listen to me for even a moment- Fine I get it, that’s fair. Don’t remove the bandages, the herbs I had to use on you aren’t easy to- “, he seems to stop himself glancing my way again.
If the pain in my shoulder and my tired legs didn’t leave me feeling so drained despite just waking up, I’d nearly want to laugh. This cocky bandit was channeling a puppy who’d just destroyed the couch. Though the couch in this case was my back, the very back I realised, that I’d thrown in front of a dagger. Ah, that’s why. If it hadn’t been due to his dagger, I’m sure he would have tried charging me for his nursing services. My throat feels dry as I try to speak, the guilty party scoops out a bowl and brings it over to the pile of furs I’m lying in.
I take a cautious sip the warm broth, “So you stab me, rob me and I get soup in return.”
“Well, you did jump in front of it, how was I supposed to know you’re a lunatic. Prioritize yourself next time, save me some trouble,” he grumbles but hovers around me. Dark circles around his eyes hint that I was the only one who got any sleep.
“Are you really blaming me?? You and your dumb friends were the ones who broke my ride.”
“If that damn bird hadn’t dived at me, I wouldn’t have even used my dagger!”
“Oh, do people not usually try and protect themselves. So sorry for putting up a fight,” my snarky voice seems to bring him relief as his shoulder begin to relax a bit.
“Division carriages never come this way, I guess me and my lads were a bit too eager. The first time it passed by there was clearly no one in it, I didn’t really plan on you being in there at all.” He doesn’t look my way but I assume this is the closest he gets to an apology.
I must admit, for experiencing a classic bandit robbery a few stiches weren’t the worst outcome for a helpless side character like me. The bandit leader next to me didn’t seem cut-out for the cutthroat role he was playing.
“How about, instead of just trying to steal from the division you go and get yourself recruited instead,” perhaps I can lead this young man on a better path; like a quest giving npc.
He retorts, “I was going to ask you to join my crew. Your sneaky cunning shouldn’t go to waste.”
His comment surprises me as I choke on the soup, “What do you mean by that, huh.”
“Ai don’t pretend to be all innocent now, I suffered first hand at your plots. The entire time we’ve been around each other the only time you showed me your back was to trick me! I might have noticed your wound sooner if you let your guard down for even a second.”
Now he’s back to scolding me? I really can’t get a grasp on this guy’s character at all. Perhaps unconsciously I did keep my right side away from him, but I’m not some crafty rouge. I’m supposed to be a comedic relief support character, at most I might end up in a few towers that my sister will have to save me from. I hand him back the empty soup bowl which he refills and begins to eat from himself, this hut must be one of their hideout spots only stocked with a few necessities.
“I have to ask, did you even leave your group a note.” He pauses the bowl leaving his lips.
“Leading any possible people out of the forest for a fee was a possible outcome. They shouldn’t be worried.”
“Oh yeah. Even though since we both got hurt, there might be blood all about the carriage site. Huh? Did you think of what that might look like to them?”
He looks at me wide eyed, “I really need you in my crew. You think of everything.”
“I’m scared of bugs; I wouldn’t last in the woods more than a day.”
“Ah come on, scared of a few butterflies,” he teases.
“Yes, I hate those little freaks. Disgusting, can’t stand them.” I speak firmly looking him straight in the eyes.
The laughter that bursts from him is childlike and reckless, he nearly spills his bowl as he falls to the floor. After we finish eating, he cleans up the pot and comes to lay down in the furs. He hands me a rather nice looking inner and outer shirt before closing his eyes as if to sleep. I carefully manage to get the clothing on, this time he knows better then to offer to help me.
“These threads are much nicer that the ones I was wearing,” I say aloud only half asking.
He opens one eye glancing at me, “The ones you were wearing had too much blood on them. Can’t bring you to town looking like that.”
I don’t see a reason to complain when he adds, “Those clothes are yours, you know. I took them out of your bag.”
Ah I had avoided going through the original Orion’s bag, I guess a spare change of clothes being in there is to be expected. The fabric is cool and smooth, what you would expect from an ex well off family’s son. I stay quiet for a bit and let the bandit rest for the remainder of the morning. I don’t waste my energy wandering around and stay sitting in my spot on the pile of furs; only when the sun seems to move higher in the sky do I disturb him.
“You might as well cut my hair and stash it while were here. How much farther is the nearest city? My legs might end up hurting more then my shoulder at the rate we were walking.”
He replies smoothly making me wonder if he was milking his nap for as long as I would let him.
“It’s just an hour away now, this hideout is right at the edge of the forest. If we hadn’t gotten here in the night, you might have been able to see the main Divisions Mountain in the distance.”
“Then come on. Give me my free hair cut and then I can get out of yours.”
He slowly gets up lazily moving he collects a few things before coming back to sit behind me. He does trim my hair; I’m relieved scissors exist in this world and he’s not just hacking away with his dagger. He doesn’t take nearly as much as I expect him to. Even taking the time to neatly braid and tie back my hair. It still falls a bit past my shoulders while tied, but I’m happy to have it completely out of my way. Sabine had seemed to find my messy attempt at tying it back an injustice to the long hair. So, she’d made a point of only tying enough to keep it out of my face and letting the rest fall prettily. The bandit’s method felt more practical, and I gave a few approving pats to my hair when he was done.
Seeming proud of his work he gave a few gentle tugs to the hair tie, “Now your hair suits my crew. Since you aren’t ‘anyone special’ to the Division just stick around.”
I could tell he was still curious about who I was to the Division, perhaps his incessant propositions were apart of getting me to talk. I stood up and turned to him, giving a spin I walked to the doorway. He let out a sigh but didn’t seem surprised at how I brushed off his offer.
“I might be nobody but I think I owe the Willow Division a thank you in person.”
“A thank you, what could they have done for you?” He gets up putting out the embers of the fire.
“I was sick and they helped” -I won’t mention it was at the request of the protagonist- “It seems like a group that just does that sort of thing. They can’t be all that bad.”
Finished packing up the bandit joins me at the doorway, “I’ll have to keep that in mind. Come on this way. If you’re going to keep tripping over every root just walk beside me.”
We chat comfortably now as we walk, he continues to try and scout me. I try selling him the idea that he seemed more then capable to try joining a different path. We even talk about the Division; he lives close enough to it he knows all the local rumours. I share a bit of what I know, trying my best to avoid mentioning my knowledge comes from the source material of this world. I guess the ordinary people don’t know much about what the Division does. Stories about how it’s a group full of powerful people who horde secrets seem to do the adventuring guild an injustice. Calling them well trained students who go around collecting information and solving the odd problem, is a much closer summary.
When we finally come to a well traveled rocky path. The mountain the division has carved its home into, rises from the tree line. It seems that the bandit takes me on a tour of the small cities’ outer limits, the town is the biggest I’ve seen. People bustling around the markets as vendors sell their wares. I have no desire to dive into such a busy throughfare but enjoy watching curiously from a distance. The bandit makes no move to part ways and seems to enjoy watching me stare around dazed at the city folk. Before I realise it, we spend a few more hours walking around before he delivers me right to the base of the mountain.
A Large carved gateway declares the entrance to the Willow Divisions head quarters, a few ornate looking roof tops can be seen peaking out from the moss-covered rocks and trees that occupy the edges of the mountain. I turn to offer a half sarcastic thank you to the bandit, but he has already gone without a word. I scoff, such a sudden disappearance suits him. Perhaps he’s rightly gained a fear of the danger pigeon delivery birds that live in the Division.
I stare a bit longer at the unfamiliar trees that smell rich and oddly comforting. I let out a heavy breath before walking past the gate and up to the guard house. Somewhere further in this mountain keep is the main protagonist of this world; as well as all her friends, suitors, and their troubles.

Tom Goes to the Mayor #26: “White Collarless” | June 26, 2006 – 12:30AM | S02E04
Hey! I like this one! In this one Tom becomes a CEO of the Mayor’s secret project. It turns out CEO stands for something different from what Tom believed and he’s basically just a miner, doing nasty dirt work He and a bunch of Louie Andersons are digging for some sort of treasure that the Mayor is being secretive about. What will it be? Will I even BOTHER typing it out in this write-up? Hmm?
This one has a lot going for it, and I always considered it pretty great. I'd call this one “underrated”, even. The joy of this show is witnessing Tom's idiotic character motivation: In this one he shows up to his step-son's class to announce that he'll be speaking at Careers Day, because he is now employed. Then he has a nightmare where he is caught lying about how good his job is and wakes up, having pissed himself. He then wakes up his sons to announce that he will not be speaking at parents day, explaining his whole predicament and pointing out his piss. He's just constantly explaining himself in a way that nobody asked for. (Mike Judge voice), it doesn't get better than this.
There's also a very funny video where sunglasses lower on clip art guys. It's real good, damn. I sorta hinted at this, but Tom Goes to the Mayor really is pretty formulaic when you think about it. Nearly every episode has a small handful of these things (sometimes all of them): Married News, powerpoint style presentation, Bob doing a live-action bit, A famous guest star, a funny product, and maybe a good-ass song (of which there is one of those in this episode, and it goes like this). This one also has a very funny powerpoint style presentation which includes sunglasses lowering on a bunch of clipart guys.
Speaking of the celebrity guest star, this one is also notable because Louie Anderson plays a lot of guys. It turns out most of his dialogue got cut out during rewrites so they wound up making it up to him by cloning his character and just having it be an absurd thing that the Mayor has a team of Louie Andersons digging for the Mayor's secret treasure.
That treasure, you might ask? The Mayor's time capsule which includes another celebrity guest (a rare real-life cultural reference as well; especially since the show makes a joke earlier out of having a salesman name drop non-existent celebrities to Tom to get him to buy a fancy briefcase) as well as the very real 1990 Married News Team calendar. They actually sold this calendar in the Tim & Eric store. It actually introduced me to the concept of the “repeating calendar year”, which are years where the dates and days of the week all match-up. This means you can reuse calendars every so often. So the 1990 calendar actually worked and was intended to be used for 2007. It was also usable in 2018, and will be usable again in 2029, if man is still alive. This inspired me to purchase vintage calendars off eBay at the end of every year to delight myself and others with a unique gift. I currently have a 1977 Mad Magazine calendar up for 2022. Not to brag.

It seems that the little girl who has been trying to bust into the apartment next door husband having me play songs to my husband yes and the songs are stereo by The cars and Venus by the banana rama if you put them both together to threatening to put me into an act I put the myself Hera or Jen or Melissa in an accident
John remillard just picked up another couple enemies now the girl is an enemy of his it's his granddaughter and he has been trying to harm her but she escapes it and there is another girl it's not her and she's smaller and she's the blonde from Tom Cruise movie and he's been trying to gas her for some reason I'm really sure why that is being nice and pretty into her house has a tank on the side of the building it's a small brewery and he's threatening for the mouth place and threatening her and really it's analogous to us and the analogy to Hera with those two songs is there too and they're talking about an accident in a vehicle and I'm talking about us and where we are but they're actually talking about our vehicle so that's this big war in the big areas saying we're going to get in trouble because of it. But the two girls the second one she got away. And she found the gas in the vehicle and she drove the truck away with gas and he missed it he came out it was gone later that day in the night actually she found him and it is Trump and gassed him and it's knockout gas and he passed out and she dragged him out and questioned him trying to figure out what he was up to and just didn't come out right the guy didn't have the right lines and sounded bad so she basically arrested him and was holding him and he broke out but really she is now getting for him he'll do it what he was saying is going to do and he's getting killed by a bunch of people
So with her analogy we will pursue her and shut her down and she's not going to make it and with the analogy against us we are going to get rid of this guy we're sick of him sending it everywhere.
-there's a huge Force gathered at the monkers huge and food that force is gigantic and going to try and strike any moment now and they're going to strike the Max and you're going to try and get them to come top side they said and what I said what a son did was let more in and more keep coming thinking they're going to take over the ships and the foreigners keep letting them in and they're going down below and fighting tons of them tons and tons of them are going down already. And about 1/4 of the force goes down an hour and it's Giant and they are attacking this is a huge Force okay globally it's probably 2% of their Force total but that means all their people. It's a huge Force more of it's coming. They're sending huge numbers there very large numbers. There's a bunch of movies going on in there pretty big and it's time to get bigger there's a movie about diamonds and diamonds are everywhere so it has to be about big ones when would they can it's not true and we're going after them because they're like heirlooms or something and they're from a certain region and one with the diamonds can get the other ones that's what they're doing and dan sold into the mess.
We're going to address this code right now it's extremely serious

How to be homeless on a budget.....part one
Yep you read that right, being homeless doesn't mean you have no bills, you just don't have a home. So here's what I've learned over the last 8 months, how many more to go I have no idea. So I've decided to blog about my journey. It starts differently for everyone. Mine was a slow moving,  fast spiral that was out of control before I really knew what was happening. It started with me being an alcoholic. I had gotten two OVI's back to back and was in debt to the court to the point I don't think I will ever get it paid back. But believe it or not that was just the start. Those happened in 2020 I became homeless in 2022. So that's why I say fast and slow spiral. I didn't see what was happening until it was too late. I was so busy struggling to eat and pay my bills everyday I wasn't watching how the private landlords, city officials, and investors from all over the country were about to make my hometown, "A place to be desired". The fancy way of saying, if you are middle class, single, or poor we don't want you to live here. They started a war on the homeless camps. Kicking them out of the woods and tearing down any shelter they could have. This new change all  started with a complex the city said was going to bring so much revenue to our town it would bring us back to life. A lot of the landlords thought the same thing including mine, so she cancelled my lease and raised the rent $200. I got the notice and had to be out 2 weeks later. It was move or we could go to court. So I took the last months rent, got a storage and moved into my car with my dog 2 weeks after Thanksgiving. Thank God that was a mild winter. Then just a few weeks later I found a house that was a fixer upper and I could do the work for cheap rent so not such a bad stint of being homeless. It all had worked out. It was only 9 months later and I was back in the same situation, only this time I had no car, no money, a shitty job, and no friends. The reason I was losing my house you ask? That ridiculous complex that at this point wasn't finished because they ran out of money, brought no extra business to our local places, didn't employee as many people as promised, and only brought extra traffic, and headaches on Friday's during rush hour. I mean don't get me wrong people benefitted from it. You know city officials, construction and road crews, landlords who sold their homes for top dollar to private investors who then charged 4 times the average rent, or just turned them into an Air B&B and charged 10 times the average rent per bedroom. It was a serious mess, and I wasn't the only one affected. So many long time residents received eviction notices and were made to move out of homes that some of them had lived in over 20 years. I was already going through a seriously emotional time in my life. Dealing with all the healing of past and present trauma while being a new empty nester, and newly sober human. That notice threw me into a tailspin I still haven't recovered from. I spent the next couple months trying to work and save to be able to move. The problem was the world was also more expensive and being a single women I just didn't make enough to put anything back. Then a month into this new mess my car got reposed and that is when I had my meltdown. It was tragic, freeing, self destructive, and satisfying all at once. Oh. wait a little side note, my mother had also disowned me because I suck at being alive. That's a story for later though, back to my homeless journey.  I got a storage again, paid a fortune to get my car back, and quit my job. In that order. I can't tell you what was happening to me still. I know now that I was just spiraling and had no idea how to make a decision. I  just said fuck it, I don't care anymore. It's too fucking much for me to deal with. The guy I was dating was a complete ass, another story for later. My kids were pissed at me over him, I had no friends because sober people lose all their non sober friends almost instantly, the one kid that was talking to me is in prison and needs money from me, and I just had found out that I had a warrant for my arrest for not paying my fines. I just didn't give a fuck anymore and was ready to throw in the towel. I mean for the love of God I had just went 3 months with no utilities, bathing in rain water I had collected, and living by candlelight. Finally paid the bill only to realize my car wasn't paid, the only reason I could afford the lights, and then my car is taken. Get it back only to  find out I was going to be homeless again within less than a year. All of this on top of the traumas I had buried my entire life and kept deep inside with alcohol were coming at me, and I was struggling to heal in a sober healthy way already. The worst part about the Year 2022 is the things I'm writing about is a small portion of the actual shit show I was living. When I say hot mess express with so much trauma happening a monk would even have to scream, I am underplaying how bad my life was. I for the first time ever didn't care if I lived or died. I wasn't just drowning I was buried. With all this going on you would think that I went back to drinking and that is how I became homeless. Nope, I didn't give up. I became homeless because I had no money to save, and that is when I quit my job. I decided with so much conviction that I would no longer work long hours and not have a life to make other people rich, while I couldn't even afford to eat. So I said fuck you all I quit!! I still picked up work freelancing and working for myself. I saved and still at the end of the day, I couldn't find a place that  I could afford and  would accept animals. So once again out on the streets I went, this time with no car. I can say at first it wasn't horrible. I stayed with my boyfriend and things were ok. Then Christmas morning all hell broke loose and I was kicked out on the street. He eventually let me and my dog back in so we wouldn't freeze to death but man I went through hell for the following weeks and months. I couldn't work with no ride so I couldn't pay bills or pay off debts at all. I had borrowed from everyone and everything was getting past due fast including my storage. I did everything I could to stay above water. Right when I was ready to give up completely, asshole of the year kicked me out. So with no where to go I went to a persons house I barely knew and spent the night. That was the first step in the right direction. We stayed up all night talking and she agreed to sell me a car for nothing down and payments when I could make them. Looking back on that night I remember I didn't trust her, the situation, or any excitement I felt because in my 44 years I had learned something too good to be true almost always is. This was the first time I was wrong. A few days later I had her car and I finally was only partially homeless. The first thing I did was go to my storage to get my blankets and pillows so I could sleep in the car with my dog. God it was like Christmas morning when I cuddled my big comfy comforter around me. I cried a little at how good it felt. That night I felt comfort and security again, it was freezing but I had a space heater, extension cord, and my blankets. I was happy for a brief moment. I sat with my laptop and dog and started to make plans. You know I would like to say that the house I was plugged into was a nice strangers, or one of my good friends that was allergic to dogs, or someone in my family that just didn't have room for me inside. But none of that is true. The truth of the matter was I knew hundreds of people, and were related to even more than that. You can throw a  rock in any direction in my town and hit someone and there is a 77.89% chance I'm related to them, and a 99.78% chance I know them well enough to be able to sleep on their couch. Yet there were only a couple who even offered me a place to shower, or just use the bathroom. God forbid I ask to sleep over. So I was stuck in the now asshole, cheating boyfriends driveway using his electric. All while he was inside warm and not hungry, talking to other women telling them how beautiful they were, and how he would rescue them from their awful ungrateful men they were dating. To top that off he would come out to accuse me of cheating and talking to other guys while I sat freezing in my car trying to start a business on my laptop. I struggled on, and eventually started booking appointments. So back to my storage to get my tools for work. I almost collapsed when I seen the overlock tag on it. I swear I thought that was it for me. I was going to just become a fulltime committed homeless person. With dirty clothes and a backpack, taking better care of my dog than myself. I cried a lot. I begged them to let me get my tools. I called everyone I knew trying to borrow or buy on payments what I needed. I had one friend sell me a pretty expensive item on payments. I am still making them to her. Then finally I got a call from the storage and the owner let me in to get what I needed! I was so relieved and cried again. I think homeless makes you cry a lot, or maybe it was just me. I took my time organizing my new home.  I put my work things, clothing, bathroom, and cleaning supplies in my trunk, set up the backseat like a bedroom, and the passenger seat and floor board as the office and kitchen area. I slept in the house that night. It was nice but I remember wondering if I would ever be warm again. Laying there in the bed with the douche canoe I was still freezing. My hands clenched up not able to relax, but I kept reassuring myself that this too shall pass. The next morning I went to my first clients house and started my business. I felt so embarrassed and unsure about it. Pulling up in this beater with a broken heater, dog in the backseat, breakfast in the front. I knew I looked homeless and desperate and I felt the same way inside. To my surprise no one ever said a word and that was such a relief. I felt like shit, looked like shit, and was being treated like shit by a man all the time. I got off work and sat in my car driving from one place I could park to the next. Never being able to relax because I still hadn't been able to take care of that warrant for my fines. So I had no license or insurance and was afraid a cop would come to my window asking questions. I used to get so upset about that. I still can't wrap my head around taking someone to jail for not paying a fine. Obviously I can't afford it or I would pay it! Most laws are ridiculous, most laws make no sense, and most laws aren't needed. It's all about money and control. The police don't protect and serve like they are supposed to and the judges don't rule with the facts mixed with heart. They rule to make the city more money. Why the hell do I have to pay the state of Whatever $300 for not wearing a seatbelt! I am a grown ass women with my own mind. If I want to risk my fucking life leave me the fuck alone and let me. It's none your damned business what I am doing in my car or with my life! OH and my loud mother fucking muffler!! I sat in jail 5 hours over a fucking muffler I couldn't afford to fix!! Then paid to get my car out of the cop impound, paid the ticket of almost $300, and had to get a special more expensive insurance cause in the process of moving my insurance company had dropped me because of the fucking seatbelt ticket added with a speeding ticket. They all work together for the greater good right? Lmao I will never agree with the bullshit traffic laws, or the outrageous cost of being a licensed driver. It's fucking ridiculous and everyone knows it they just don’t say it. Anywho,  after doing this driving and parking driving and parking I would be able to come the males house late at night and take a shower, shit, and eat. Sometimes he even let me sleep inside all night, as long as I was a well behaved pet I could come inside. I was exhausted and at this point crying all the time. I was making money though and saving what I could. One night he kicked me out and I had  a full busy day the next day, I tried the driveway but he threatened to call the cops. I knew I would go to jail, my dog the pound, all my things and car be taken away, and I just wanted to sleep in a bed! A warm room of my own and take a fucking shower! A good long shower. So I paid way too much for a hotel room. God it was wonderful, so much so I spent every dime I had saved to stay there. I didn't pay my fines again. I didn't pay my car insurance, or my cellphone bill, or anything on the car. Not a dime went to eat, or car maintenance, gas no way! All I wanted was to sleep and recover. I cancelled appointments, I flaked out on everything and in the end I found myself begging him to help me out. Once again allowing a man to treat me in a way I would have never put up with before. My life before was so different. I had new cars, nice houses, season seats to the football stadium. Vacations when I wanted, friends blowing my phone up wanting to do one amazing thing after another. I stayed in mansions and met movie stars. I was on top of  the world, and then the world fell and all I had was a shitty car and my storage. But to me that was something to start with. I had to get out of this mess for myself, but also my kids, animals and most importantly my granddaughter. She needed to see mamaw come from the bottom and get it back like her dad, aunt, and uncle had witnessed before. She had to see a strong women that didn't give up and fought the fight until the bitter end. Soldier up little princess, the world is not easy and it's even worse if you are a women. Watch mamaw fight, you will never see her give up. If she fails, she will take the blood of her enemies with her! So the next morning I went to work and when I was done for the day, the man I had to beg for help, and only person that helped me, was in a good mood and I was allowed in the house a little earlier. That was when I knew I had to get focused and live like I did when I had household bills and responsibilities. So I sat down and did my budget. Holy Mary mother of Christ!! I couldn't believe how mother fucking expensive it was to be homeless!! I cried and I think my soul died a little. I seen no way out of this situation. Nothing, I was fucked in the ass with no lube and an abnormally large dick!! This was planet bullshit and I was living on the mother fucker. That's when the anger started. I was 5 months into this fucked up situation and there wasn't an ounce of hope in site. I wanted to just curl up and someone else figure this shit out, but there was no one else. It was me, I was the adult and I was supposed to know the answers. Who the fuck left me in charge of my life? Can't they see this isn't working out?

things customers have said to me
im actually done collecting pokemon cards, shoes are kinda like my passion now. plus id rather drive my car down to florida full of shoes rather than my pokemon cards (its two binders dude its literally smaller than one shoebox)
get anything new in? (greg you were here yesterday, nothing has changed)
do you have this comic book store specific cover variant of this comic that came out today? i know its not this comic book shop, but i figured you might still have it (we're a very small store ha ha... that means no)
could you get me this 20 year old comic? your distributor should have it right?
yeah this comic has an important first appearance in it, i'm surprised you guys have any copies left. (yes because avengers #58 or whatever that came out 3 weeks before is such an important issue, thats why we only ordered one and sold none)
do you even know who damian wayne is? you know dick grayson isn't robin anymore, right?
do you sell manga? (sir this is a comic book store, any manga we have is entirely an accident)
you know, they use anti-depressants to keep sexual deviants and sociopaths like ted bundy from wanting to have sex while in jail, i dont understand why they dont just give everyone anti-depressants because literally every person is a little bit of a sociopath. i think putting anti-depressants in the water supply would probably reduce the number of jackasses in the world (terrifying thanks)
i thought that guy was gonna come at you when you said your boss was going to come talk to him about his order lol. i work with cops a lot and he reminded me of a junky looking to score a hit. but you handled that really well! good job! (way to make me feel safe dude)
no but the bionicle comic was one of the top selling comics of the year when it came out (somehow im not so sure about that.)
i wish there was a comic with like the members of the batfam you don't get to see usually (well actually there's an ongoing batgirls title, and tim drake has a mini-series-) no but like a good one, you know? (-.-)
how am i supposed to know what comic this is? (did you try looking at the back? it should have the name there) yeah it wasnt there (are you sure? flip it over for me?) okay i swear that wasnt there before
oh wow why is this comic so expensive? why would anyone pay $500 for a comic they cant even read? (i ask myself that every day)
damn i thought that guy was gonna lose it at you when you said you didn't have that item haha
nah man i just want venom stuff. i like to think of myself as the anti-hero of my life (i had to drop my stapler and lean down to pick it up so they wouldnt see me laugh at them)
wow, in the time ive been here, youve gotten hit on by three different guys! does that happen a lot? (i do not remember being hit on, i remember helping customers and chatting with them?)
so you're like 16 right? how long have you been working here? (4 years... i'm 23...)
oh i wasnt expecting to see a girl working here! are you the owners daughter/girlfriend/wife? (no thank god)
man if only my mom/wife/girlfriend/mother-in-law didnt give away/get rid of/lose/burn/throw out my comics/pokemon cards/magic cards i could be a millionaire right now (x to doubt)

What really sold me on Red Shoes and the Seven Dwarfs was the part of the movie where Snow can't get the shoes off (because deep down she's no longer so sure that she wants to be who she is without them).
It's one of the most realistically accurate scenes I have ever seen in an animated kids' movie.

Konekomaru: Hey exwires, here's a pro tip: do not write an email to your cram school teacher while you're seriously sick. Signed, a person who somehow came up with "dear hello, I am sick and not sure if I'll be alive to come tomorrow and I'm sorry, best slutantions, Miwa".
Shiemi: I mean, if someone wrote that to me, I'd probably believe they were sick.
Renzo: "Slutantions" has me crying laughing
Rin: i once emailed Shura with a migraine. a mistake. "I amsick will not to training because i have a heache. i Hope its very and i am so sorry love, blue" the subject line was "OW"
Izumo: THE SUBJECT LINE IS THE BEST PART JSJFISJDJS JUST IMAGINE GETTING AN EMAIL WITH NO CONTEXT OTHER THAN "OW"
Mephisto: As someone who runs a cram school, please send those emails because 1) We WILL believe that; no one would write that on purpose and 2) we need a laugh sometimes.
Ryuji: On the other side of this, once after getting taken to the ER by ambulance, I got an email from Sideburns, and the message had no text, just the subject line "you good?"
Yukio: Claritin makes me weird, but I have allergies so there’s about a month and a half block of time where I’m taking Claritin and am just weird most of the time. Anyway, last year, I got the flu or something and was also taking Mucinex. I told Shiro I couldn’t work one day by email except I couldnt think of what to say, so my medicated self decided to make a Fry meme. I think it said something like “Not sure if I can go perform an exorcism with a head the size of Gehenna, bottom text.” I didn’t think until the next day that it probably wasn’t socially-acceptable to tell the Paladin you weren’t coming on a job via Tumblr style memes. When i woke up, i found that he’d printed it out and taped it to the fridge.
Yukio: Oof you guys i turned on my laptop that I used to use back then. IT WAS ON THE DESKTOP. THIS IS WHAT I SENT. It’s even worse than i remember it

My #1 post of 2022
Apparently my best friend has never seen any of the How to Train Your Dragon movies, and I'm due for a rewatch, so we're watching them together.
We're about halfway through the first and there's two things that really stand out to me this time around:
Hiccup is funny. Like, really funny. (Sure, he's funny in the later movies, too, but there's something uniquely amusing about the self-deprecating humor of an awkward and lonely fifteen year old with absolutely no filter. It's great.)
All things considered, Stoick is actually.... a pretty decent parent. I mean, I've been reading a lot of HTTYD fics lately, and many of them portray him as this awful, domineering guy who doesn't care about his son AT ALL until he becomes "useful" or whatever. And watching the OG movie, especially from a more grown-up perspective on things, he's really not all that bad. Sure, he's not exactly getting any 'parent of the year' awards. He's a human, and he makes mistakes, but, considering the circumstances, he really is trying his best.

Our 3 Disputes that we lost.
Hey what's up, my name is Tony and I own a moving company which is why you saw me on 7FMA. If interested I'm going to post privately on this blog so you can follow me and hopefully not have to make the same mistakes I did.
We have been in business since Jan 22 2020. In that time we have done 1,058 moves and counting since posting this blog. 4 of them are back charges. Briefly these are the first 3 incidents:

August 2020, an OnlyFans girl who never once looked at her quote as she never gave me her e-mail address had booked us last minute as a Sunday move - which is really tough given the circumstances that we spoke through the real estate agent.. She gave me an address that was not on Google Maps yet and when we were unloading gave me the worst attitude which made me think she was not going to pay as I had told her she needs to slow down just racing ahead of us. We lost $750 + no terms were agreed on, no sign in sheet, no pictures of the move existed, but I still paid my guys 6 hours + truck rental got into a shouting match with the customer at 12 Midnight, continued to unload, but only to the first floor as ordered by my partner and how severe this situation was. I'm ashamed of the person I was that day. I already have a negative disposition (still do) towards entitled low level women who do OnlyFans for a living. She back charged us and won for the entirety of the move, which taught me 3 things:
Everyone and their mama who needs a move needs to accept our terms and conditions, that is why we have a CRM.
$50 deposit is not going to take it. We need to take half up front. (We take our minimum hours + any 1 time fees nowadays)
I need to calm down as the guys I was with told me I was totally unhinged and throwing dollies and shit in the truck.
Lots of other lessons came to mind but these were the top 3. When I told the agent Ishmael about it, he sure felt bad but I told him it wasn't his fault. He still sent business our way even after quitting the real estate company later that year.
In November 2020, an older lady from the South hired us for labor only to unload a 26' truck.

This lady used a credit card ending in Visa card #4100 under niece's name which she was there on a monitored and recorded line. A sign in sheet was provided of sign in and sign out from the customer. Customer agreed to our terms of our CRM as we learned the time before. The move ended up to be $237.00 and that is because we gave a $19.75 discount for being 55+ but even though we submitted our paperwork like sign in and sign out sheet, monitored and recorded phone calls (which I learned is not accepted) and geo tagged text messages the niece was never there on site only the Aunt who we moved in.
Lessons from this move:
We take a credit card authorization when dealing with the person who is not going to be on site in addition to the payment.
We take pictures on all moves to submit for evidence in case of backcharge.
Monitored and recorded phone calls are not accepted for dispute. We must do other things to protect ourselves. This is when we strengthened our terms and conditions and decided to take any minimum hours + 1 time fees up front for ALL moves. This means truck jobs need to be 3 hours + arrival fee, labor only needs 2 hours + supplies if we sold any.
In December of 2020, We had a labor only job that a washer and dryer were seriously damaged after being unloaded by HAH. Thank goodness that we had the layer of protection behind that provider, after all they do take 29% of commission from our jobs.

We had a sign in sheet, rules of moves are different from 3rd party sites that we accept jobs on. We lost $150 + the labor + 29% so this was a job that made no money. It could have been worse though and wiped out the entire move, as it was only a 2 hour ordeal. We still came out ahead and made $51.91 and I wasn't on the job.
Lessons from this job:
We got lucky and could have gotten a negative review. Good thing we communicate with customers even when bad shit happens.
Our rules stipulate that once a pod arrives in someone's destination, we aren't responsible for it as it shifts during transportation.

Imagine Bakugou x stoner!reader
So... maybe I got carried away, and maybe this turned into more of just you and the bakusquad being besties, but I literally love this concept and will 100% be writing more.
Warning(s): obvious mentions of drug use, and some language. All characters are 18+.
So, let’s say, just for the hell of it, that this is a quirkless!college!au
just imagine...
- you befriend Sero and Denki first, meeting them in a class, and they love you right off the bat
- you’re personality just meshes so well with theirs, you become bffs almost instantly
- the three of you raise hell in that class, I’m convinced, like RIP to whoever sits near you goofs
- you slowly start to hang out outside of class. maybe it starts as a study sesh, but let’s be honest here. the three of you can’t focus to save your life, and eventually Sero asks if you guys wanna smoke
- and, to their complete surprise, you outsmoke them (Denki later bows down to you, literally, and proposes to you with a ring pop. he’s such a dork I love him)
- this becomes a weekly thing, as it should, and the three of you are practically attached at the hip
- your favorite part of hanging with them is, of course, all their crazy stories about their friends
- so of course they want to introduce you to the bakusquad, and you are just as eager to meet the rest of the group, if not a little nervous
- Denki and Sero assure you they’ll love you (”c’mon, you’re just like us, they’ll adore you!!!”) and they take you out to lunch with Mina and Kirishima
- now, if you thought you, Denki, and Sero was a chaotic trio, just wait until you add Mina to the equation
- Kirishima lives for the chaos and thinks you’re adorable, but the guy has his hands full keeping the four of you out of trouble, that’s for sure
- (when Bakugou’s not around, Kirishima is in charge of the braincell, I don’t make the rules)
- Mina immediately kidnaps you for a girls night, and is ecstatic about having a girl to hang out with her and the boys
- (SIDE NOTE, Mina introduces you to Jirou, and the three of you are THE baddest bitches around, thank you. the three of you definitely have girl nights and either kick the boys out, or force them to join, face masks and all)
- anyway, you finally get the opportunity to meet Bakugou
- and, as always, he’s in a sour mood. but! you don’t let his grumpiness upset you, in fact, you take it in stride and throw his attitude right back at him
- you aren’t mean, and you certainly aren’t going out of your way to bug him, but if Bakugou makes a snide comment? you better believe you’re throwing one right back at him
- and at first, Bakugou is annoyed, and thinks you’re mocking him. like, who do you think you are?
- but the more he gets to know you, he realizes that you’re way too sweet to be that mean. you fit right in with the idiots he’s friends with.
- and, to be honest, it drives him nuts. because he likes you. he likes you, and he likes when you snap back at him, and he likes watching you goof off and laugh with his friends
- in true Bakugou fashion, though, you’re convinced he hates you. it’s just the icing on top of the cake when one night you notice that every time you’re there, and Sero lights up, Bakugou disappears
- when you finally tell Mina this, she laughs. actually laughs! and you’re just like ....what?
- turns out, Bakugou hardly ever smokes with them, and he’s just like that.
“Trust me, babe,” Mina tells you, “It’s not you. Bakugou just doesn’t know how to relax, he’s got a terrible case of trust issues and a bad attitude to top it off. But he likes you, trust me! He’ll come around.”
- you weren’t so sure about that, but you take her word for it.
- and then, one night it’s just you, Denki, Mina, and Bakugou, and he stays!
“Someone with a brain has to make sure you idiots don’t do something stupid.” He says, when you ask.
- that night ends up being one of the funniest nights of your life. the three of you are high as a kite, and everything is funny. seriously, you can’t stop laughing!
- then, you find out Bakugou’s birthday is on 4/20, and you have never been so excited in your life (so you say). it’s the funniest, most ironic thing to you
- you go up to Bakugou, grabbing both his arms by the biceps, and are going on and on about it, bouncing on the balls of your feet and giggling, and Bakugou just listens to you talk and he blushes
- you’re adorable, and he can’t lie to himself anymore, he likes you. he really likes you. and this realization really freaks him out (he calls Kirishima later that night absolutely freaking out, and he has to totally calm him down. Kiri ships it)
- over the next month or two, he tries his best to not give himself away, but it’s so hard.
- he starts sticking around when everyone smokes together, and sitting next to you during movie nights (because you always fall asleep, and theres a good 80% chance you end up leaning on his shoulder), and he offers to help when you complain about a class you’re struggling with
- and it all comes to a head one night when he gets jealous.
- he was definitely reading too much into things, but he swears you’re acting clingy with Sero, leaning on his shoulder, and grabbing his arm when you laugh, and playing with his hair. he definitely has himself convinced Sero is making a move on you, and he’s pissed.
- at some point during the hangout, he gets up and storms out of the room, and no one really notices but you and Kiri. after a minute or two you’re curiosity gets the best of you, so you go after him
- he’s in the kitchen, glaring at this plant Denki and Sero have (that is totally, 100% dying, and probably can’t be saved) and he’s pouting
“I don’t think staring at it is gonna bring it back to life.” You say, and he just looks at you weird and asks what you want
- you say you’re just checking on him, and he asks why you care. and you’re just like dude ??? i care about you? hello? we’re friends ??
- and Bakugou, being himself, snaps at you and makes some kind of rude comment
- so you snap back, offended because you’d just wanted to check on him
- and halfway through you telling him what a jerk he is, he kisses you
- he kisses you like his life depends on it, because he’s still pissed off about Sero and, come on, Bakugou Katsuki doesn’t do anything halfway
- and maybe the two of you make out in the kitchen for way longer than you want to admit
- and maybe you laugh and call him an idiot when he tells you he was jealous of Sero
- and maybe Denki catches the two of you, and screams like a little girl on christmas morning
- cue protective Denki and Sero telling Bakugou he better not EVER hurt you... and then crying happy tears a minute later because you’re so cute together
- after that, Bakugou is literally never seen without you by his side. he walks you to class, cooks you dinner at least once a week, helps you study and takes you out every time you ace a test. this man knows your coffee order, and has your schedule memorized, it’s impressive
- god forbid he see’s you eating junk food
- listen, he knows how Denki and Sero eat when they get the munchies, okay, and that is absolutely not allowed. this man is such a simp behind closed doors, he will literally make you homemade snacks for when you go smoke with the guys.
- he’s not the greatest with words, okay, but he loves you and he shows it through small things like that. he’s always pushing you to do your best, and bragging about you, and doing little things to remind you how much he cares
- he’s also a little over protective, but he means well, and cmon it’s kinda cute when he get’s jealous, sometimes
- but overall you guys are just the cutest couple. like the bakusquad is absolutely obsessed. (you make Bakugou soft, but don’t tell him they said that)
- and sure you fight over little things every once in a while, but you learn how to handle Bakugou’s attitude quick, and it never lasts too long.
- if you do have a big fight, you take a step back and let each other cool down, and then you make Bakugou talk it out. he hates it at first, because sharing his feelings is so not something he wants to do, but it does help and he knows it.
- if, on the rare occasion, the two of you have a bad fight you can’t resolve on your own, therapist Kiri is there to save the day
Bonus:
- now, let’s get down to the whole reason i made this au in the first place
- the first time the two of you celebrate his birthday after getting together, he makes it clear that the day of he just wants to spend it with you
- so the weekend closest to his bday, the whole squad goes out and celebrates, but when it comes to his actual bday? Bakugou has a surprise for YOU
- you show up to his apartment, not really knowing what to expect, and this man pulls out a pan of brownies
- yeah, those brownies
- turns out, he and Sero used to sell them in high school
“What? Sero already sold, and I can cook, so we just... did it. It was good money.”
“How could you keep this from me?! Have I told you recently that I adore you?”
He just laughs, “You’re such a dork.”
- so you have the PLEASURE of getting high with Bakugou for the first time
- and let me just tell you, you’re in for a treat
- Bakugou. is. so. clingy. as soon as it hits, you know, because he’s wrapping his arms around you and pulling you into his lap
- he’s speaking so softly?? and he’s just relaxed, and content with holding you and talking about anything and everything, just cuddling with music in the background
- high! makeout sessions! with Bakugou! that’s it, that’s literally it. he is INSATIABLE
- the man just wants to kiss you, for hours, okay? give him what he wants!!
- he used to get super paranoid, that’s why he doesn’t smoke much, but with you he’s calm and comfortable, and not anxious
- it becomes tradition to make brownies on both of your birthdays, and you look forward to it all year
- and every once in a while, Bakugou will smoke with the squad, and they quickly learn that he can’t keep his hands off of you when he’s high. they tease him relentlessly, and Sero and Denki definitely have asked him (aka whined to him) to stop hogging all your attention
- also, he definitely lights the bowl for you, because he is a gentlemen
- shotgun kisses. yup. that’s all I have to say.
before I get carried away again, this is the end. Thank you for reading! I literally can’t get enough of this au I’m in love with it!! I’ll be writing more of this au soon, hopefully, and my requests are open!!

General romantic headcanons for pt2. Joseph Joestar, Caesar Zeppeli, Pt4. Jotaro Kujo, and Rohan Kishibe
Heyyy Ms Gurl!! ;)
I was hoping you could write some head-cannons for a few people, more specifically Caesar, Young Joseph, Part 4 Jotaro, and Rohan. I don’t have any theme I want specifically so you can get as creative as you’d like since ik your head cannons are just the absolute best. Thanks once again bestie I’m lovin your account, keep up the great work love <3
OMG YES!!! My first request from my bestie anything for you hehe thanks so much for always being my biggest supporter and giving me the courage to start this blog ILYSM <3
(To the anon request I got I’ll post it soon!)
𝒞𝒶𝑒𝓈𝒶𝓇 𝒵𝑒𝓅𝓅𝑒𝓁𝒾
♡He’s obviously very romantic, despite him being a player I feel like once he finds someone he really likes he’d definitely cherish you.
♡Caesar wouldn’t try to romance you the way he had with other women he’d put so much thought into everything he did for you.
♡I feel like he’s a very observant person if he knew you prefer sunflowers over roses he’d buy them for you all the time just to see you smile or he’d get you a necklace with your favorite colored gem.
♡HE LOVES SLOW DANCING- any opportunity he gets to hold you close and dance he’d take it even if it’s in the middle of a crowd he doesn’t care he just loves you so much.
♡Okay so even if Caesar has a soft spot for you he’d still be stern with you, if you aren’t sleeping right or doing too much work he’d lecture you on the importance of being healthy and getting enough rest.
♡He is so cocky though he acts better than Joseph but he’s just as childish Caesar would go out of his way to show that you’re his to the point where it’s kind of embarrassing.
♡He probably loves cooking and is very good at it because he didn’t really have his dad around so he was forced to learn himself.
♡Long romantic walks in the city are his favorite, Caesar loves to hold you close to him and listen to you talk.
♡In conclusion, he is boyfriend material 110%
𝒥𝑜𝓈𝑒𝓅𝒽 𝒥𝑜𝑒𝓈𝓉𝒶𝓇
♡Absolute dumbass you’re basically babysitting smh. (But he’s a hot dumbass)
♡He is literally huge and no matter how tall you are he will legit just throw you over his shoulder and carry you EVERYWHERE.
♡He’s so touchy even in public so you better be prepared to be kissed all over your face he doesn’t care who is around hell he’d even do it infront of your parents.
♡He’s used to being the flirty one so if you flirt back… he’s a different person and suddenly super shy.
♡If you aren’t wild he isn’t for you because he 100% loves to do dumb things for fun.
♡ “I’ll do it if you do it”
♡One time you guys got banned from a restaurant…
♡Joseph is literally so immature he’d kiss you in front of Caesar and flip him off because he’s dating the hottest person ever.
♡Even though he’s pretty wild and loud he can be really soft when he’s sad or tired honestly I just picture him coming up to you and putting his head on your lap asking you to run your hands through his hair.
♡He loves hearing praise from you in every way because he looks up to you.
♡Joseph goes to you for advice whenever he can when it comes to anything because he loves hearing your input.
♡GOLDEN RETRIEVER BOY/ HIMBO BYE WE LOVE IT.
𝒥𝑜𝓉𝒶𝓇𝑜 𝒦𝓊𝒿𝑜
♡Part four Jotaro is so mellow unlike his teenage years.
♡He is literally the definition of tough on the outside softie on the inside.
♡Jotaro isn’t good with his words and sometimes gets embarrassed so he shows physical affection quite often because that’s how his mom raised him.
♡Even though he doesn’t often speak sweet nothings to you he shows his love by doing small tasks just to make your life easier or asks you to spend time with him whether it be going out or sitting by him while he works.
♡I know I said he shows physical affection often but this happens ONLY when you guys are alone because he finds PDA awkward but he would hold your hand or waist while walking that’s it though-
♡One time you kissed his cheek in public and he got so red and almost fainted pls save him Y-Y
♡Everyone thinks Jotaro would date someone who’s super cutesy and sweet but hear me out I think he’d love someone who can be chaotic at times as long as you’re serious when you need to be.
♡He is so protective of you and it gets out of hand sometimes +-+
♡ “No thanks Jotaro I think I can walk five minutes to the grocery store alone…”✋😐
♡ “What if someone attacks you? I’m coming too.”
♡Joots does NOT care if you’re a stand user and extremely strong, he just gets paranoid but will respect your boundaries if it bothers you.
♡Being in a relationship with him takes lots of time and effort if you weren’t friends before hand but it’s so worth it he’s very sweet and will go out of his way to make you happy.
♡If you like something that’s sold out he would buy it off someone for 2x the price just to see you smile T-T
♡Your best dates are where you just enjoy each other’s presence and snuggle.
♡If you both are college students you better believe you’re both chugging monsters and eating takeout side by side at 3 AM while finishing your work.
♡Bro pls don’t tease him too much in any situation he’ll just give up at one point and be like :/
♡HOLLY, SUZIE, AND JOSEPH ADORE YOU
𝑅𝑜𝒽𝒶𝓃 𝒦𝒾𝓈𝒽𝒾𝒷𝑒
♡Listen bro I think Rohan would love a s/o who has a bunch of plants so he can steal them and study them for his manga-
♡ “Rohan did you take my succulents again…”
♡ “No of course not…”
♡ Everyone knows Rohan is like… super rich so definitely be prepared to go on a bunch of trips together so he can get “inspiration” totally not just because he wants to take you somewhere and spend time with you.
♡When he first realized he had feelings for you he avoided you like the plague until it accidentally slipped out when you confronted him.
♡ “Y/N for the last time will you just leave me alone it’s so frustrating because I can’t focus on my work when you’re around and make my feelings grow fonder.”
♡ “… YOU LIKE ME?!”
♡ “NO UH THAT CAME OUT WRONG!!”
♡ “Well, that’s too bad because I also have feelings for you.”
♡ “… wait really?”
♡Rohan isn’t the best with words… at all he’s kind of used to being snooty so honestly just be patient he has good intentions he’s awkward smh.
♡It took the life out of him to tell you he loved you and was like a year into your relationship.
♡ “Even though you’re far too loud I love you I guess.”
♡ The softest moment the two of you shared happened when you had a horrible week so he took you to the most beautiful spot just outside of Moriho which was on top of a mountain that was far above the small town with a perfect view of greenery mixed with lights of the town. You both watched it in silence as the sunset and he held you close under a warm blanket reassuring you in the best way he could.
♡ He draws you when you least expect it, his favorite sketch of you is where you’re dead asleep on the couch while drooling.
♡Even though he won’t outwardly admit it you mean the world to him.
