💛: What is a popular ship you just can’t get behind, and why? Natsu x Gray. They're great friends andnarrative foils, but when it comes to shipping them, I simply Do Not See it, and trying to think about them as a couple for too long makes my brain hurt. (Also, Laxus x Freed, but more on that later.)

🤍: Which character is not as morally bad as everyone else seems to think? Juvia! I've been seeing a lot of salt surrounding her lately, and those haters are all wrong. Juvia is a wonderful and kind character and I adore her.

💀: If you had to choose one major character to die, who would you choose? Makarov. His sacrifice in the final battle was extremely poignant, and ret-conning his death removes all real meaning from it.

🏳️‍🌈: Which character who is commonly headcanoned as queer doesn’t seem queer to you? Laxus. I'm sorry (no, I'm not), but this is one of the most heterosexual men I have have seen in my life:

This guy right here is a card-carrying member of the Straight White Males' Club (affectionate) and I genuinely don't get how y'all don't see it.

💔: If you had to remove one major character from the series, who would you choose? A major character, hmm? That's hard, I love them all and the story would not be the same without any one of them. If I have to pick maybe Erza or Wendy or Mirajane or Happy or Carla. (I adore all of of them, but I do think any single one of them could have been cut out or fused with another and the main plot could have been reworked without too much issue.)

Went to visit my parents and walked in on my dad listening to The Tortured Poets Department.

Excerpt from some future fic...

It dawned on him, then, both achingly slowly and yet with a suddenness that almost stung. He watched her laughing and realized that he wanted to hear that laughter every day (and hopefully be the cause of some of it). That he never wanted to sit at a breakfast table that didn't have her there, smiling excitedly as she told him her plans for the day. That he wanted to know what she thought of every piece of art he would ever make. That he wanted to stand by her side for every single scheme she could possibly come up with (either to help or be a voice of reason). That he he wanted to listen at the door as that voice sang children with those gray eyes and that same wide smile to sleep. That what he wanted right now, more than anything else... He'd never be able to say afterwards which of them moved first. One moment they were looking at each other, the laughter in their voices dying in a slow but barely perceptible breath, and the next her hands were on his shoulders and his were at her waist and their lips were pressed together in a kiss that was soft and gentle and decisive and effortless. It only lasted a moment-- or maybe an eternity-- and then they both pulled away just enough to lean their foreheads against one another, gazing into each other's eyes. He noticed a slight wetness in her eyes, and he might have self-loathingly mistaken it for sadness or disappointment if he didn't feel the same moisture gathering in his own. And that's when Huan-- cautious, hesistant Huan, who never made a single decision without thinking and reconsidering and worrying over it for at least a week or two-- said the easiest two words of his life. "Marry me." It should have felt reckless and impulsive and crazy. Anyone else probably would have thought so, but in that moment he couldn't bring himself to care. He was ready to be home. Ikki smiled, pulling away to wipe at her eyes. "I was going to say that," she said, giggling. "I can't let you say everything first," he said, standing and reaching out a hand to help her up. She took it with a smile, leaning on his shoulder as the two of them walked away together.

She'd never actually said yes, but she hadn't needed to. His words hadn't been a question. They'd been an answer.
