Also it looks like I’ll be taking ex-coworker out for pho this weekend, she’s never had it before :V if I’m being evil and strategic, I won’t tell her that it’s a cash only place so I can pay her back for the burger. but I suppose the fair thing to do is give her autonomy and fight over the bill on equal terms rather than having an unfair advantage.

#my ramblings #tbh it’s been pretty easy to cut takeout out of my spending habits #because I kind of hate ordering delivery #the food prices are jacked up AND you have to pay and tip the driver AND the food isn’t as fresh #I’d rather eat at a restaurant as a treat or eat with friends if it comes down to it #and also food is so expensive in the usa #I used to think a reasonable amount to spend on lunch was 10-15 and a reasonable price for dinner was 20-25 #nowadays the prices aren’t that… #any time I see the price of a cucumber roll I wince #that guy used to be $4 tops what do you mean it’s being sold for $5-6 #also also I never trust delivery from a restaurant I haven’t been to #in fact I barely trust delivery from a restaurant I *HAVE* been to #there’s a place that only does hash browns for the breakfast menu #like grated potato hash browns #I love when the potatoes are grated. I hate grating potatoes for hash browns but it tastes so good. #ANYWAY I paid the STUPID upcharged price for delivery #and it came COLD #so fucking mad. I’ll never order delivery from that place again. #I’ll go to eat tho I haven’t been there in a while #it’s a little fancy. not like folded napkin fancy but farm to table fancy. #eating out at a restaurant last weekend was like ‘yeah I do enjoy this :) especially going to restaurants I enjoy :)’
