SHOUT IT
SAY HIS NAME: Nex Benedict, another 16 YEAR OLD was murdered in Oklahoma, news channels are deadnaming and misgendering him, just like with Brianna Ghey here in the UK. But I urge you to not let your grief drive you to despair. GET ANGRY. Do not become apathetic, do not let grief numb you. Stand united as a community, lean on each other, have each others back. Reach out to any trans individuals of any age and make sure they have support in some capacity. Speak with your family, your political representatives, your school, anywhere, with anyone, that may be able to make some change, whether big or small. Everything builds, that is the power of a movement, of solidarity. If you make life a bit safer for one trans youth once, then you may have saved their life that day. And that kid might then show some other kid that there is hope, and so they live as well. And it grows.
Fly high Nex.

being anti-genocide is not allowed on meta
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
like i said before, i don't mess with shaun king like that, but that being said, many things about one thing can be true at the same time. it is very clear that there is a wave of censorship happening across social media against pro-palestinian content in favor of israeli propaganda. so whether or not you like shaun or not, it is very clear what is happening and why. there is clearly a genocide happening in gaza that is being perpetuated by colonizing power. a genocide against an indigenous population for land, resources, and power. basically the same thing america did to the natives here. had it not been for people like shaun king (flawed as he may be), many people would not be aware of the heinous acts of israel against the palestinian people right now. so even as someone who is not a shaun king fan, i am not so myopic in my view of things to not realize that he served a positive purpose when it comes to the israeli genocide of palestinians.
on a much larger scale, whenever a platform or a power attacks someone popular, one of the goals is to send a message to everyone else that they are not safe and that they should back off. it's like a football coach picking on and cursing out their hall of fame quarterback. when everyone else who isn't as popular or powerful sees that on the team, they immediately realize that they must fall in line or worse can happen to them. that's the goal of banning shaun king from ig. however as a black man who understands how connected all oppressive systems are, we cannot slow down. may i remind all my brothers and sisters that israel is where police forces like the nypd go and train in abusive violent tactics, which they then come back to america and overwhelmingly exercise on black and brown bodies. so if you think this does not affect you, you are sadly and deeply mistaken. additionally, this kind of censorship is going to spread. if we don't fight back, it won't be long before you will be arrested for speaking out against israel. this is what israel wants, and they have the money and political power to make it happen. you can either sit back and let it happen or you can fight back. however, make no mistake, it's coming, and this is the first major blow that the enemy has struck in their offensive against our free speech.

FIA bans drivers from making ‘political statements’ without permission The FIA announces the end for freedom of speech.
It's never the same rules for everyone. It is blatant silencing of people speaking out. It is pushing down advocacy in hopes of money. Of hoping to appeal to sponsors that oppose human rights. It's never been about "preventing hate speech". The only protests I've seen have been peaceful. They've been of support and solidarity. They've been of the environment, human rights, kindness. This is a blatant attack disguised as necessary change. Why is it that after Seb left, this kind of ruling is set in place?

never ever ever stop talking about palestine bo matter how small or how big of a post/message/anything you say/make/do. Always draw attention back to the causes, always draw attention back to the ways anybody can help, always draw attention back to the brands we need to boycott.
It's not just McDonalds, its not just Starbucks. there are so many more than that that we need to cut out of our lives who support Isn'tReal. Reblog with more brands to boycott, reblog with more brands to support (who help and donate to Palestine), reblog with charity and donation sites, do anything and everything that you can to help out the people in need. The starved, the killed, the tortured, the orphaned, the sickly, the silenced, and all those in between. They are human just like us. They feel like we do, they see the same world as us, and yet they are still being treated like animals and like they are lesser than. They are human and so are we.
Stay safe and make sure to support the greater cause here. Do not stay silent about the massacres. Do not stay silent about the zionists. Do not stay silent about these horrible people. Keep speaking out. Keep boycotting. Keep on going. Our cries for justice are not in vain. Things are slowly but surely changing, political people are realizing what they're doing and what's happening, we are getting to them. We are beginning to make changes. Keep on speaking up and speaking out. Never give up.
Show everybody what is REALLY happening in Gaza. We don't just need a temporary ceasefire. We need this all to end for good, once and for all. We need this to stop and never start back up again.
FROM THE RIVER TO THE SEA, PALESTINE WILL BE FREE.
LIKING THE POST BY ITSELF DOES NOTHING. REBLOG THE POST AS WELL. 🫶🏻

I cannot forgive brutal killing of innocent children, I cannot forget the sight of kids looking for their mother's remnants in the rubble, I cannot take the silence of every single person who could help things get better for Palestinians lightly. I cannot erase this shame I feel for failing them as humans. If you haven't spoken up against merciless killings in Gaza, the endless violence in Kashmir and Manipur, and every other thing that went wrong with mankind, then REMEMBER, you were a part of it.

I Could Not Stay Silent: Annelle Sheline Resigns from State Dept. over U.S. Gaza Policy
A State Department official working on human rights issues in the Middle East resigned Wednesday in protest of U.S. support for Israel's assault on Gaza. Annelle Sheline, who worked as a foreign affairs officer in the Bureau of Democracy, Human Rights and Labor, was not planning on publicly resigning, but her colleagues asked her to "please speak out" against the Biden administration's unconditional support for Israel. "At the end of the day, many people inside [the State Department] know that this is a horrific policy, and can't believe that the United States government is engaged in such actions that contravene American values so directly, but the leadership is not listening," says Sheline. "I'm trying to speak on behalf of those many, many people who feel so betrayed by our government's stance."
Sheline describes being moved by the words of Aaron Bushnell, the active-duty U.S. airman who set himself on fire outside the Israeli Embassy in protest of the war on Gaza, who implored everyone to take a stand against genocide. Holding back her tears, she says:
"I have a young daughter, and I thought about, in the future, if she were to ask me, 'What were you doing when this was happening? You were at the State Department.' I want to be able to tell her that I didn't stay silent."

Florida Passes Anti-Drag Ban So Extreme It Could Ban All Pride Parades
as ever fuck Ron DeSantis and the Republican Party
and also as ever, please please take this as your sign to speak out, to talk to your loved ones who love you but don't "get it" to tell acquaintances, neighbors, and co-workers who don't know. Let this be your wake up call to join a local LGBT rights org, to find your local Democratic Party meeting, to call your state Rep or Senator or both. Do not give up, the arc of the moral universe is long, but it bends toward justice, if someone does the bending...
finally I'm just thinking about this picture, this is what they're so scared of, and it's beautiful

On Humanitarianism
I don’t know if there is anything more painful as an advocate or humanitarian than to be silenced, but the mass silencing of advocacy is happening around the world. When you speak out “they”; the powers that be can threaten your work, freeze your social media platforms, delete your whole page, remove your followers - on and on. Since the U.S. Government has ownership over all platforms now pretty much (except this one) - including TikTok; which was said to be Chinese owned and run, but that’s another Government lie. If you’re targeted; that happens across all platforms. This happened to me and it’s been exhausting.
Then there are family or “friends” who have no concept of the world at large or anything that is actually happening with the Zionist regime essentially taking over the world; the “free world” or “new world order” as they call it. Ignorant people add to the silencing, shunning, and canalization of you, because externally it appears as if you are losing social media “clout”.
Advocates and humanitarians are highly educated and functional people; we have to be. So when we can’t use social tools as we aim to use them, it’s a problem. I ran my business from just my Instagram account for years. But with instagrams Zionist takeover and ownership my accounts are shadow banned and heavily monitored.
For awhile I was like, “fuck this, let me just not use it, let me pull away.” But then I realized the platform hiding humanitarians, spiritualists, and artists accounts is just a psyop and mental tactic of dehumanization. Abiding by it - even if there are no “likes” on the posts, would only be complying to the system I advocate against.
A humanitarian without a voice or platform is like an artist without a space to create or art supplies. So, after a year of being more silent than I’ve ever been on social media due a racist, fascist and bigoted regime, that most civilians don’t know they are subconsciously under the influence of… I have decided to activate my voice once again.
I’ve decided to leave the fear behind and a huge reason; maybe the only reason for this new found courage has come from me watching the resiliency, faith and steadfastness of Palestinians standing up to Zionists.
I thought to myself; Palestinians are out here risking their lives daily, under threat of having social platforms taken away, Zionists not only tapping their phones, but also calling them and threatening to have bombs literally dropped their heads. If they can risk all this in a war zone, I can take the risk, be resilient and remain steadfast as well.
Today also marks the one year point of the war in Sudan. Most people know very little about what’s going on in Sudan, because they cut the internet. They have been dark for 2 months now, but it’s sporadic.
I first began learning about Sudan and advocating against genocide in college. I will no longer be silent about it, because while joy and lightness can absolutely be found in war times; we are living in a genocidal world and that’s just the reality.
So I write this; really for myself, but also to alert you dear community that the time is in fact NOW. Actively BE the change you want to see, or you will SEE change you do not wish to actively manifest.
Move forward with faith and grace; using your voice for the freedom of generations that follow. Remain steadfast community!

Jean-Luc Picard @SpaceDadSupport Never allow anyone to silence you when you speak about that which you have endured. You will not change a silencer's mind, but it does wonders for others who are suffering the same to know they're not alone. Atrocities
In a world full of humans that consider themselves the superior beings, there is no question about who the beasts are. It is not animals that torture each other because they want to. The lion is not cruel for hunting a zebra to feed.
There is nothing on Earth capable of cruelty. Except humans.
🇵🇸
I think there’s no one unaware of what is happening in Gaza right now, in Palestine. What started in 1948.
I’ve been aware of the war going on in Palestine for years.
I find it baffling how so many are finding out about this only now, when the corpses of the dead are sky high, when so many are lost and can never go home now.
How dare the world make promises like ‘never again’? How dare the world make promises and once again stand still, as genocides take place? How dare you stand there and look away? How dare you stay quiet?
How can you stay quiet?
I find it horrifying and heartbreaking. I find it even more atrocious that the people doing this should be people who understand what genocide is like.
How can they go ahead and do what was done to them, to others? What about ‘treat others like you want to be treated’? Has that phrase never mattered at all?
I do not understand.
I do not understand.
I cannot understand.
I cannot condone.
Why? How? How can your heart and your mind and your conciousness condone this? How can people who suffered through genocide do this others? How can you possibly try to justify this?
Nothing justifies the killing of innocents. Nothing. Nothing justifies this violence and crimes against humanity. Nothing ever has, nothing ever will. Nothing justifies the atrocities of WW2, nothing justifies this either. I cried when as a child I learned about the Holocaust. I cry now with the people of Palestine, for them.
How can we let history repeat itself? Is the human species really that utterly hopeless? Do we not learn from the past?
Are we, quite literally, the only species on Earth that does not learn from its mistakes?
If a young bunny steps into a trap, it’ll come to know pain but survive. The next time it comes into contact with a hunter trap, it will jump aside.
Animals learn. Nature learns.
Why can’t humans? We are the one species that doesn’t follow the natural balance of the world. Do we even belong here? What kind of monsters are we, to repeat the same mistakes over and over and over and over?
Do not stay quiet. Use your voice, speak out for those that can’t.
Above all, remember empathy, remember compassion, remember love.
Drop aside hate and bias, prejudice and stereotypes, racism and xenophobia, revenge and resentment.
Nothing justifies this. Nothing. Look upon what’s happening with your own eyes and ask yourself:
Why can I live but they can’t?
We’re all human. Aren’t we?
There’s not a day that I don’t think about the genocide happening in Palestine. I mourn and grieve for the dead, with all those suffering.
#freepalestine 🇵🇸
