So I’m back…

But this time, I have a tutorial!

Do you have a 3DS?

(If you say yes to that, then we’re cooking).

Do you want to draw something similar if not better than…

THIS?!

Then boy I have a tutorial for you!

Since this was drawn on a 3DS, I can’t really tell you anymore than for a 3DS. Sorry..

Step One: Prep!

Grab your 3DS and go to “Nintendo 3DS Camera”! Or whatever it might be called if you have a “New” one.

Optional: If you want you can take a picture within the game- if it’s capable of doing so.

For me I’m gonna use a screenshot from Miitopia.

Step 2: Background!

Part 1: Plain Backgrounds

If you want something like the following image, follow this part’s instructions.

Take a random full screen sized image. Any image will work as long as it fits the screen perfectly. (Take a screenshot from a game such as Tomodachi Life or Miitopia).

Tap the image so that it says graffiti.

Then use a stamp, such as the dialogue bubble.

Hold the stamp and make sure it fills the corners.

Then you have a plain white background! This one you can press finish,but the other method you can’t.

Here’s a quick video tutorial, because I don’t think I phrased it right!

(I took it on my phone, that’s how easy it is).

Part 2: Backgrounds that aren’t pure white!

If you want to make the starting image (but your own), then follow these steps!

(Once again, I’m using Miitopia screenshots for an example).

Once again, GRAFFITI!

Instead of using a stamp, you might have to just color it yourself. Mainly because the stamp method is harder for backgrounds like the first one.

COLOR THE BACKGROUND, BUT DON’T DRAW ANYTHING ELSE. (Unless you just want to draw a background). Trust me, it’s easier.

Boom! Plain background ready for sketching.

Don’t press finish cause it can decrease the quality with enough graffitiing and finishing.

Step 3: Draw the Base!

You gotta draw that body-ody-ody!

Just draw a bust or whatever is easier for you. “Omg IsBus you have to have drawing skills?!” Yeah I know. How could I?

I’m gonna draw the bust up because it’s easier for me.

(Don’t look at me like that.)

For the plain BG ones, just do the same thing for the rest of the steps but for your screen.

Since the background hasn’t been saved, don’t use the eraser because it will remove the white BG. Unless you are using the first background method, that is. (Use the white pencil.)

Step 4: Draw the character / Coloring Page Step!

On the plain BG you can draw what ever but for me and my Miitopia character, I’m gonna draw him. If you did the color-only-a-part-of-the-drawing method (like I’m doing), you can do whatever still.

Think of the white area as a green screen; you can draw whatever you want on it.

This phase is like the pencil part of a physical drawing. White out the base as you get to parts you want over it (for example: hair or clothes).

Bam! Coloring page!

Part 5: Coloring!

Remember when I called it a coloring page? This is why.

Color the drawing how you see fit!

If you’re using the all white bg, then you might have to use the stickers or the rainbow pencil. I recommend the stickers if you want to shade/shine, but if you want more options, use the rainbow brush.

If you’re basically doing what I’m doing, you can use the colors from the image to color your character!

Once you’re done coloring the image, remember to ink the lines again! Use a medium brush for coloring but a thin brush for inking the lines.

Part 6: Final Details!

For people who want any additional details, or need to clean up edges.

If you did the plain bg you can decorate and clean up as much as you need!

If you’re doing what I’m doing, you can clean up the edges of the white spot and add additional details.

And Voila! You did it!

so it depends on who you ask 😭

so lets start at the beginning .. in 2016 if misun had fans, she had fans because of HER like all her fans atp were only there for her. the other boys’ fans either didnt like her or didnt care, but generally didnt like her. it definitely took some time for it to settle in that she was staying lmao.

anyways nowadays … she has more stans that are also there for the other members, not just her. like they got into the group for all of them, not just one or two, yknow? its been 7 years, most knetz are over it and think its done and over. especially after 2020 when misun still didn’t graduate.

actually most people thought that if sm did get rid of the graduation system, they still would’ve kicked misun out and keep mark + 00 (since chenji would still be in dream)

i do wanna talk abt stantwt tho cause it’s just fun for me to! i like analyzing their behavior cause they are some crazy bitches (i used to be a stantwt acc .. now i am just privtwt 🏋️‍♀️)

anyways. FANWARS. you just know everyone and their mother is coming for dream having a girl in their group 🤕 always always always slut shaming her, she’s dating one or multiple of them, she’s ruining the group, she doesn’t fit blah blah BLAH. akgaes (solo fans but worse ?) of hers will demand for her to go solo or leave dream. i guess xs is okay for them? akgaes of other members find the littlest thing to nitpick over. it’s a terrible time during fanwars and if you know how it was between UNITZENS … just terrible.

the SHIPPERS … they are everywhere. you thought bg member x gg member shippers were crazy? oh they’re worse with dream cause dream are just so comfortable with one another they hardly think about what theyre doing on camera like theyre just friends best friends <33 but shippers run with it. Also i wanna say that yeah some of the reasons they ship misun with another member are like … ??? Now why did ‘friends’ just lovingly stare into each other’s eyes and keep brushing hands when they walk by one another??? for nct xs it’s just as bad, too, like why are you doing gay things if you’re not gay? you knew what you were doing why did you turn your head the same time she did just for you guys to almost kiss??? they’re just girls loving and appreciating each other. (this is kind of like a dynamic post again … sorry ill do that for xs after i post their profiles on my npc blog 😁)

WHAT MORE CAN I SAY, OTHER THAN I'VE BEEN EXPERIMENTING WITH SHORT DRAWINGS, THAT TAKE UNDER A DAY TO COMPLETE TO FIGURE OUT SOME THINGS I WANNA DO AS AN ARTIST AND POSSIBLY COMMISSIONS. + These drawings genuinely kinda de-stress so it's been free therapy too, oops. I wanna do more of these vector-style drawings, that are just me taking lyrics and creating these fun collages, of things that inspire me or I like. It's a chill practice and lets my creativity actually do the work for once, instead of my usual need to outdo myself in every drawing and improve lmao. Improvement is cool and all, but dear god did I not realise how hard my need for perfection last year stress and strangle me tf out. I seriously need to re-evaluate the way I approach art as this massive, intimidating medium, when most artists literally draw for fun, and for me it's been like...A Sisyphean task.

If you enjoyed seeing this, I might make a sequel with C'est Comme Ca and w/ Marco in it instead and a red BG,, if I want to, I might turn these into a series, just like those aesthetic icon drawings I made of my 2 boys, started Lotta, and IMMEDIATELY lost that sketch due to my USB's death back in 2022 and lost all motivation for art due to that massive loss /neg

Not sure what else to add here other than my thoughts that I already did!! Other than ofc, the usual, MASSIVE thank you to my friend Hollowed-Hartlocke for introducing me to Paramore back in 2019 <3

Think I'm done rambling now tho!! OH WAIT. I can add, that I had to actually pull out Adobe Illustrator just to add stretched text for aesthetic purposes. Then I got so impatient with the effects panel not showing me the usual layer-effects and me being too lazy to look up, whether InDesign was the one, that had the usual layer effects I use in an Adobe program or not. Btw still mooching off my college acc that shoulda been dead long ago but just isn't??? LMAO I'M STILL GONNA USE IT IF I CAN ALRIGHT.

OH YEAH BTW. This drawing took 3 hours. NO I'M NOT KIDDING. PEOPLE WOULD PROBABLY BE SHOCKED THAT SUCH A LAZY LOOKING PIECE TOOK SO LONG. BUT I GENUINELY AM RATHER SHOOK THAT I TOOK SUCH LITTLE TIME TO CREATE THIS. TBF I threw MOST proportion checks and canvas flips I do out the window, so there's a BIG chance I will hate this, if I flip the canvas xD ANYWAY I RAMBLED LONG ENOUGH I THINK NOW. JUST ENJOY EXPERIMENTAL ART

^Before-bed edit; Yeah his torso's a TAD too much leaning to the left, it's off-center to the rotation of his pelvis to be in fact, but maybe? I'll roll with this mistake. It kinda gives the piece its abstract nature..I kinda like the mistake?? This is the first time in my life I ever tolerated a mistake I did and now declare it on purpose and will probably build one into the next piece as well. Hell, maybe it'll yield an interesting result. Anyway, it's 12PM as I write this, and I have to get up at 4AM for my train soOooo, yeah, gotta sleep ASAP for school.

I have NO clue again what to 100% accurately tag this, so forgive me if the tags are wrong LMAO, I just will believe what I believe it has overlaps w/ within art-genre.

This piece kiiinda gives pop art??? So I'm gonna tag it as such as well, but but might be incorrect. If a pop-art enjoyer wants to correct me, PLEASE DO. I'm going off the definitions of pop-art I learned in high-school. So I could most def be wrong about me adding this tag in particular. How tf do people confidently tag their posts when I doubt almost every tag I add man. Tagging is the worst part of uploading art to me due to how hard it is to label art really, not meant to be in a genre. xD

Part 1)

You know initially i was quite okay with not getting much content from jkk cause i know they don't have to share with us all of the things they do together and all so i know it's normal but then after long time i was like nahhh this is not usual cause what do you mean the two members who were attached to the hips all these years are nowhere to be found together? Even the duos who did not seem to hangout together before were also getting spotted together so how come not Only jkk?

Many times jkkrs said that k-jkkrs don't share things with us this that whicj is okay but like for this long? Something wasn't adding up. Then i thought like forget about k-jkkrs is there no army who spotted them together? Cause if they did you know armys post it on twitter so i know no one was spotting them together because they were actually not hanging out together.

Another thing is they could be hanging out at eachothers' place but for how many times they were going to do that? Jm said during FACE's promotions that his fav vacation place is his sofa and he prefers staying at home. I'm not saying jkk Never hangout only them two but i knew for sure it was definitely very very less.

Then jungkook kept inviting jimin over his house in his lives and jm be like "I'll meet you after my/your promotion ends" but next you ask him if he met jk his answer would be "Not yet". So yeah the meetings were very very less compared to their previous yrs and other members too.

Thing with many jkkrs is that they simply don't wanna accept that things between jkk could change too Cause at the end they're humans.

About jk not mentioning jm in his first lives i actually don't mind it much cause jungkook actually never used to talk about any member at all. Mind you he only recently talked about jin like he never ever answered a single question about jin when he's in military. Even tho he later started mentioning jm he never mentioned jin once. I think he mentioned it way later like right before hobi joining MS.

Jungkook only used to talk about members while reading comments and when jm used to comment on his lives. He hardly ever used to mention any member without reading a comment. Jm used to comment on all of jm's live till FACE's promotions once the promotions stopped he for some time never commented on his live. Then later he again started.

It's a bits and pieces of behaviour like i wanna believe they weren't doing well together but then my mind is like "why would jm include jungkook on his album then?" Ngl jk's involvement in Letter i never understood cause he's there for only few seconds only doing some bg vocals for literally few seconds. Jimin is lead vocalist he's doing bg vocals for years he could have simply done it by himself. He even said he didn't want to have any collab cause it was the personal album so why is jungkook there in the first place? In a hidden track? Literally for no reason that's why i find that sus...

There was no business for jk to learn letter's guitar tune but he did learn it as his first guitar lesson. I'm very sure the person who played guitar in jm's letter is the same person who's jk's guitar teacher cause you simply won't get a tune even before the song release.

The first time jm commented on jk's live their convo was kind of formal i know jkk play like that alot but it didn't sit right with me cause he literally aksed how are you both doing (jm nd hobia cause hoba also commented). Then like take care. I know many will say he's just telling him to take care but nope when you're bf nd are in contact with each other all the time you won't say that. Also in that same live or it was diff i don't remember (it mostly has to be the same) taehyung commented and jungkook was like "what is he doing here?" And tae commented "you said you're going to sleep what are you doing live now" I felt like tae nd jk were more in contact with e/o than jm nd jk from their conversations.

To me at that time it definitely felt like they're keeping with e/o through those online comments. Like more than phones they talked to e/o over those comments lol.

Idk what to take of the initial jk lives cause jm used to comment on literally every jk live till his album was out once his promotions got over jm himself became inactive so did his comments on jk's lives.

Part 2)

Another thing I'll say as one anon said when he played vibe on his live it felt like he didn't want to so I'll say that if there's one thing i learned about jk over these few months is that he never does anything that he didn't want to so if he's doing something even if not 100% still somewhat part of him wanted to do it and hence he did it.

He started this watching memebrs song, content with jm only before that he didn't do it for anyone else. Even after jm's album release when yg released his album jungkook didn't even play a single song despite him going live during that time too. He literally used to play jimin's song which then released after yg's album but he still never Played yg's songs at that time. I thought he would atleast play people pt2 since iu is in there nd he loves her vocals but nope. He only played yg's song recently cause he thought he messed up at yg's concert and he kept saying sorry and feeling bad and in that he played yg's album (i think he got album that day).

When he watched vibe he knew jimin's Verse that means he's already heard it enough times to know the lyrics so idt he's got any problem with playing vibe live.

See even if he did it for us fans he still showed jm some online support that i won't deny. He kept with every content that was coming from jm.

He only watched suchwita because of jm nd that was his literally first episode of watching suchwita when the show was going on for long before that. The person he admired alot RM even for RM he didn't watch but did for jm. He was sleepy but he still kept watching it. He even told suga that he didn't watch all the episodes during his own ep when yg thought jk is a regular viewer, I'm sure he still hasn't watched all members' eps. The way after that jinhobi suchwita evryone wanted jk to react to that but he didn't.

There's another time armys aksed him to sing his song he literally made a face and said NO and immediately after that played jm's song. He knows each nd every jm song. Even tho he never acknowledged "with you" anywhere it's still was in his car playlist and he knows lyrics to that as well nd he was singing it while closing his yes sweet (this is from his vlog).

He himself played letter on his live after that army made song. You can simply see his reaction on his face while playing jimin's songs and other members' songs. The easy example i can give is in the same live he played letter he also played winter bear ig and you can see his reaction difference. watched "BTS teasing jimin" with us.

So from all that i can say is he does things the way he wants it and no one can talk over him.

My answer:

Exactly what made me suspicious of there being some sort of change and distance with Jikook.

"So yeah the meetings were very very less compared to their previous yrs and other members too." - That to me is a fact. No speculations there.

"Ngl jk's involvement in Letter i never understood cause he's there for only few seconds only doing some bg vocals for literally few seconds." - I think despite Jikook not meeting as much as before (when they used to be more than friends, maybe) , they never really fell apart. They remained fond of each other , just not as close so them working together doesn't faze me. Since Letter is fan song maybe Jimin wanted to include another member, because he knows the fans would love it. Plus him and JK have always sounded great together and their voices compliment each other perfectly, so there is that. Despite everything going on then, JK was still special to Jm I think, so maybe Jimin still felt gratitude and love for him, just like the lyrics in the song say.

I think they didnt meet much and I believe the reason for it was Jimin's own unwillingness and maybe some residual awkwardness between them if there are alone. JK obviously missed Jm and wanted to meet up, but JM was hesitant. Perhaps he was very busy , but maybe there was more to it.

Yeah, he was pretty busy later when Tae`s album dropped out , but as we said, when Jk really wants to do something, he will find a way. He clearly showed to us that Jimin is more special than the other members, and even Taekookers felt it and became mad. Or maybe he was actually trying to show to Jimin how special he was and we were never the target audience for these lives. In fact, so often it looked like he didn't even care about us during them lol. This whole thing reminded me of when he played "Lie" in his hotel room years ago in an effort to summon Jimin. Even now, that Jungkook is pretty busy, he still keeps up with what Jimin is doing and posting, evident by the fact that he saw very quickly Jimin dancing to "Face" , even though he doesn't even have an IG account (that we know of).

In conclusion, Jungkook is an assertive man. He does what he wants and doesn't like being told otherwise. There was a reason he paid so much attention to Jimin's release and continues to do it even now, amid his own promotions. Whatever happened between them in the early months of this year, Jimin remained special to him and Jungkook made sure we (and Jimin) don't forget it.

Lighthouse by Tempest: At first I was like 'ugh, boring bg song tomato tomato" but I listened to it when I was not exhausted and I actually really enjoy it? Like its charming and has personality. To be clear my frame of reference for Tempest is Hyeongseop falling off his chair when meeting Taemin and Vroom Vroom. But this is so fucking cute I love it. More concepts like this actually…. BUT DONE WELL! However, this song is very forgettable…..

Body by Highlight: they said "SHAKE YOU BODY YOU BODY YOUR BODY YOUR BODY RIGHT" and I DID! I like this song it feels like summer. However. The whistling in the chorus makes me wanna rip my hair out. I fr thought we left that back in the 2010s, alas.

Do Doom Chit by VVUP: do doom chit is actually a bit of a banger… ngl at first I was like "what." but she grew on me and with a QUICKNESS.

FRI(END)S by V: V come through w/ the vocals king!!!! This song is so cute and should have been a valentines day release. It's short, yes, but I don't think it needs to be more than it is. I do wish this wasn't a single though… this belongs as an interlude on a full length album sry!!!! Also reminds me of the 70s pop that spencer sutherland has on his music. Heyuyyy what a thought

HEYDAY by XODIAC: this would've gone triple platinum in my room circa 2017… Like with Lighthouse we need more of this concept well-executed. And for my ballad lovers out there WONDERFUL TONIGHT off the same mini is for you!!!!

Fresh by Daniel Jikal: Wish there were more variation his his flow and wasn't so predictable. There's nothing special here but there is always way to improve. This feels very… the mediocre 2018 rappers who were popping up all over the place. And that's okay!

Lucky by Hori7on: These nugu groups be working their asses off and when they do they make absolute bangers like this. I am not a fan of whistling but it actually accompanies the production well. Lucky and Body are brothers in arms fr. THE CHORUS BANGS SO HARD I CAN'T LIEEE. Even the chant hook is nice like, the composers/producers/arrangers were in their bag man. I can get over the whistles fr. This is like AJU NICE but for 5th gen.

Nectar by THE BOYZ: Boy groups this month decided to give us soft nostalgia pop BANGERS and ofc THE BOYZ did not disappoint. I love this trend, MORE PLEASE!!! Btw if you like this song you'll like HEYDAY and Lighthouse for sure….

BBB by Purple Kiss: The girls will always slay with their vocals and songs, but that chorus is… not it madames. Catchy as hell but man, when you got a song like Sweet Juice it's really fucking hard to keep it up. unfortunately this was a miss from them….

Rooftop by YooA: Yeah… she slayed. I know nothing about YooA or much about OH MY GIRL but she came out and did her little thing with this one. It's not a song i'll be playlisting but she did do her thing fr.

Fuego by THE NEW SIX: She had to grow on me. She is still trying to grow on me. She is not growing much admittedly. The rap after the first chorus barely salvages it for me. I think I've just listened too much to songs like this before and I'm tired of it. By no means is it bad just not for me, and that's okay.

12. Smoothie by NCT Dream: this song is just uh… very…. well 🤷🏾‍♀️ They did release it as their title!

Superwoman by UNIS: You know what? Solid debut. The afrobeats trend is not leaving for a bit i fear… And

Neuron by J.Hope ft Gaeko, yoonmirae: I will always be a fan on boom bap in kpop and by god did they boom and man did they bap. J-hope will forever be serving us good ass hiphop. BUT MOST OF ALL YOONMIRAE ON THIS TRACK I SAW AND I SCREAMED FR! man. i fucking love yoonmirae this feature took the cake for me.

Birth by ARTMS : I need this song tattooed on my brain this is the vibe i was expecting w/ NCT Dream's new release….. if i dare say it. But she is genuinely too short… PLEASE GIVE HER MORE TIME TO SLAY. What a wonderful ARTMS debut the loona girlies WILL keep killing it (and me)

Broken Hearts by AMPER&ONE: This is fun! But like with Fuego, she has a lot to do to grow on me.

Baddest Behavior by Tempest (jp debut): four minutes i crode 😭🙌🏾, i liked it enough to listen, but I'm more impressed at how they were able to make a 4 minute song so strong without making it feel like filler.

Wish You Hell by WENDY: She's a good song,,,, but is this a WENDY song? Think about that for me. I mean I still love it but this is WENDY we're talking about.

EENIE MEENIE by Chungha ft Hongjoong: MOTHER IS BACK!!!!! Chungha did NOT have to kill us with I'm Ready and she did not have to bury us in the grave with EENIE MEENIE not only is the song catchy as fuck w/ fun production omfg…. the hongjoong feature set it from awesome to SPECTACULAR bc that rap is soooo mind melting in how good it is delivered and 2 the flow is insane.

Good Girl by Candy Shop: The beat switch in at the end of the pre-choruses should have been kept for the chorus but they didn't?!?! literally why and what the fuck it would have ELEVATED the song so much. AAAAAAAAND for the first time in a long time, here are some old pic´s from when i did Quoll Alone where is skittles, found them in my Newgrounds dump so thought i would share them

the first was a scene that didn´t make it because this one took FOREVER TO RENDER and i think i did loose sleep that day and i got very very unhappy whice might have led to a downward sprial of pain and is kinda why i might have rushed the animation.

YEAH i don´t wanna have Jurassica End up like that for me and thus kinda why im planning this the way iam right now,

tho haveing written all this down i do feel like i might get the Blockout´s done sooner BUUUUUUT! i don´t wanna do anything stupid here, like i would LOVE to get to make more 10 to 15 min long projects but i feel like Where is skittles has given bit of a fear for it but i´d love to get over it and i hope the plans for jurassica will make everything easier, hopefully the fact this isn´t made in sony vegas helps too.

but enough about fears and how i almsot didn´t wanna make videos(THankfully i did return to the animation table) wanna give some context as much like with doodle toon´s Rabbit for dinner, Where is skittles was gonna have a title card like that fellowed by Kitube jumping into the Water where some piranhas waiting and he would jump out of the water in fear. instead we got that... odd thing with Scrat IDK... BUT HEY ATLEAST I GAVE THAT LEOPARD SKIN BIKIN DOILY WEARS "Wink Wink"

the 2nd one tho is from the Bit where Doily and Nat looks down and see Reggie has climb´d up to get them.

the Reason it´s all Green screen is because back in the Day(before How to keep a Dragon) i used to make the BG in sony vegas and animated the characters in blender and combind the shots via chroma key,

i gotta be real kinda happy i can now do things in full CGI, not just because it´s Easier but also because and this is NOT something im makeing up but, it didn´t Work out as planned, like There is one Episode(or Shortflim IDK what do wanna call fishing Foxy here) that is actually because the Software wen BLEH! and the Quicktime files all went Red and unsueable... same happenede to a Future Wildlife project too,

So it occurred to me that…maybe the southern wars should be ongoing until and maybe even into s2. I’ll explain

It would give us a chance to explore aragoth’s over all situation as a country by looking at it from the outside and as a public entity rather than simply seeing it internally

It would give the privy council smth to do and our baddies smth to work towards as well as give the fledgling resistance more cover under which to cement themselves making all groups more active than passive characters and improving the perceived competence of each group

It would give Alex more of a plot line and we could even have him finding spare moments to try and search out aalis — in fact, perhaps he could give all the clues the audience needs to realize it’s valery even if ~he doesn’t have enough info abt a rando pirate girl to know

If we wanted, we could intro the Barrets and maybe the moysaunts (perhaps Alex encounters them continuing their moms work as they can looking out for refugees being nurses whatever — perhaps we even see flashes in the bg of crisana being sweet on e/o etc) earlier, given their huge significance to the endgame (tho I wouldn’t intro much more than that and even them I’m kinda quasi on tbqh — maybe just ned and cris as Alex’s lieutenants and then we could flesh them out in s2)

So those��re some pros, there are cons but the main one I can think of is just that Alex is home for good chunks if s1, but I think we could have him home for part of the season and at war for part easily enough and I think this would be easy to do. So, why is he at the ball? Some potentials!

Helena casually mentioned that she missed him so rowena straight up recalled him to be there fir her (esp since she’s planning his demise she felt she owed it to them both etc etc)

He was injured in some way that he needed expert care and isn’t battlefield ready but can do normal stuff — maybe an arm/leg wound of some kind or even like an internal organ thing idk we could figure this out (since we wanted to change the way he was disabled this could even play into that?)

Alex knows Rowena’s planning to kill him so he took leave to see helena one last time hoping he could do her some real good before going back to war to die (tho spectacular if this could easily go hand in hand w 1 or 2)

Also, if we did this, we might wanna move his engagement to Evie but I don’t see this as much of an issue one way or another. It could up the stakes if we ~do move it since avelina could do smth that causes rowena to retaliate in this way (maybe betrothing lynessa and Jon as in the og plot iirc?) + then we’d have the build up of avelina and Alex’s relationship already done, plus it’d give us an excuse for another big court event (maybe a masquerade? Anyway!) when the isles and defeated, but honestly we could also leave the engagement where it is.

Anyway idK that we’d have much of the war itself on screen unless we wanted to? I feel like we’d probs handle it more like HotD did the war in the stepstones — mostly just character development, smth for them to do when we don’t have a plot in mind, etc. Also we could depict (probs in s2) the end of the war w ivette and Romayne both betraying the southern isles for aragoth etc and get a lil character introduction done that way too etc

Mostly it’d serve to keep Alex and cassius esp but also council lords and rowena from sitting around twiddling their thumbs and thus looking incompetent as the resistance grows etc while also giving us a chance to dissect and evolve their various goals motives etc plus actively striving towards smth always builds character in audience pov — plus it’d give context to the pirates backstories haha but that’s honestly fringe and neither here nor there haha

I also had some other thoughts abt this but I can’t think now but yeah things to consider I suppose!

- Currently reading: ...i mean mostly just renheng fanfic but uhhh. i did read where the crawdads sing from delia owens (just plucked it out from the bookshelf randomly bc i was bored) a month or so back. it was neat but no like particular strong feelings abt it. it was very well written and i liked the flow of the prose a lot. also waiting for crooked kingdom to get a finnish translation bc i got six of crows in finnish and i dont do book series as mixed language sets generally. (also the translation work itself was just like an absolute fucking banger with the imagery and metaphors used like chef kiss)

- Currently watching: no particular show (last thing was when i rewatched fmab a couple months ago) going on but like. random video essays or informative stuff on yt honestly and its mostly for bg noise.

- Current favorite character: gee i wonder. dan heng (past editions included), blade, (big gap here bc i tunnel vision on characters), bailu, luocha, jing yuan i think for specific ones from hsr for now. am looking out for jingliu and fu xuan too i need to study them. in genshin its like. yeah its mr childe ajax tartaglia all the way but i kinda just havent been feeling it for the game much so eh. tighnari, kazuha up there too n arlecchino obvi.

- Current WIPS: what kind of productive person do you take me for??? ig i like. opened word this week to type out some random passage drafts for a ficlet type thing relating to the post i made a while back abt belobogs temperatures wrt dan hengs potential terrible, horrible, no good, very bad scalie time with it but do Not expect any results from that or anything i s2g. ive finished one fic in my life and that was half poetry half madness full one sitting and be done with it type deal

y/n l/n is not a girly girl. You would categorize your fashion mentality to value comfort and functionality more than style.

Yes, during the weekends, you do tend to rock a graphic tee, jeans, soft sneakers and a outwear of choice, depending on what you’re feeling that day- be it a leather jacket, causal blazer to a denim jacket.

Hey in your defence, the Scottish Highlands where Hogwarts is located isn’t exactly the warmest place, besides students are only allowed to wear casual clothes during the weekends.

But every now and then you do wanna pop on a skirt or a dress, especially when its warm outside.

This upcoming event though…. you, like everyone else is oh so very much do want to feel like a star! To feel elegant! Luxurious!

That’s right the Yule Ball is only a month away. It is all that is in every single student’s mind ever since it was announced. Who would their date to the ball be? What outfit would they wear?

A number of students had already picked their respective dates and dresses. However, a remaining select few have not done either- Like yourself. Time is running out and the pool of available potential partners is decreasing day by day.

You didn’t mind going alone, as long as you have a great time with friends, going alone it isn’t really a big deal. But there is a small childlike wishful thinking that wants to have a fairy tale experience.

It also isn’t helpful that you had started to develop feelings for a certain redheaded twin over the summer. You swear that he too felt the dynamic changed between the two of you- who knew that 3 weeks tinkering with joke shop ideas and fixing out the burrow’s garage could be so impactful.

Though now coming to think of it, could you have just read the signs all wrong? The lingering stares, the tighter and longer hugs… Could this be signs that he planning of ways to murder you? Because if this were all romantic signs, wouldn’t he have had asked you out to the ball by now? It was no secret that you hadn’t said yes to anyone yet.

So, what’s taking so long? George Weasley is one of the most confident and popular guys on campus. Surely, he wouldn’t chicken out or get nervous to ask you.

Right??

Pushing boy trouble aside, you focus back on the dress catalogue your mum had sent you earlier today.

Flipping through the pages, 2 dresses caught you eye. One was a short tule the other had a long side leg slit.

You were in the process of bookmarking the page when you felt the catalogue being pulled out of your grasp.

‘Hey!’ You instinctively shouted to the culprit.

‘What’s this?’ George said, turning to the front cover. ‘“Madam Bella’s Evening Gowns, Autumn/Winter 1994”’

‘Give it back George!’ You tried to take it from him, but he quickly held it above his head.

You stood on the bench in hopes to extend your reach. You could almost take hold-

‘Catch Freddie!’ Shouted George and threw it across the table.

Fred flipped to the dogeared pages. ‘Ahh..’ He was scanning through the choices you had circled. ‘Great choices indeed, my dear y/n!’

At first you weren’t sure if he was teasing you or being sincere.

That must had shown on your face as Fred continued, ‘I’m serious y/n/n!’ He placed his left hand on his heart and raise his right. ‘I swear! But you would look good in any dress anyway.’

You blushed at his compliment. ‘Thanks for the confidence boost Freddie.’

He hands back the catalogue to you, and as you took it, he whispered in your ear. ‘A little hint though,’ He shifts back a bit- now being face to face. ‘My vote is on the slit dress...’

Your brows scrunched together- was this boy seriously giving you fashion advice?

‘….I know George would like that..’ He steals a quick glance towards his twin, who has now turn bright red, both from being embarrassed and furious at him. ‘… I-I mean, it would match George’s dress robes.’

Fred sends you a final wink and bids you both goodbye.

You watch Fred exit the Great Hall, never letting him out of sight until he turns the corner. Which George to grateful for, as that had bought him time to calm his face down.

That was the one of the weirdest exchanges you’ve ever had yet, but you also couldn’t help but wonder if there was some truth to it.

George cleared his throat ‘So…y/n...Have you got a date yet?’

‘No why?’ You look over at him and you thought that you might give your hypothesis a try. Smirking hopefully, you asked ‘Are you gonna ask me?’

If you only knew what was going on inside of George’s head, the boy was panicking.

It was as if time slowed. Or it was because George’s thoughts are going a thousand miles a second.

Of course, he wanted to ask you to go with him!

But his brain was feeding him of insecurities. What if you didn’t want to go with him? What if you did say yes but only as a friend?

Plus, he didn’t want to ask you in front of all these people, thinking that you might be pressured by the crowd to agree.

No, he wanted to do it in a private, more intimate setting. Deserving of your beauty and grand place to confess his feelings.

He’d dream that in return you would say ‘Yes, I loved to go to the ball with you, George!’ and perhaps even say those 3 words he’s been dying to hear-more in the romantic nature than of friendship- and if he was lucky, maybe even share a kiss, that would be the best case scenario.

The worst-case scenario would be you rejecting him, possibly forever ruining the relationship with his best friend and having his heart broken- at least that case, nobody else would witness that.

‘Eh George?? Georgie?? Hello??’ You frantically wake a hand in front of him. ‘Earth to George Weasley!!!’

Great, when you finally had the courage to ask him to be your date-albeit indirectly- You broke him.

‘uuh.. I… I have to go...’ George looked like a deer caught in headlights

‘What?’

His eyes, dart upwards, thinking of an excuse. ‘Yes, I have to go… GO CLEAN MY SOCKS!’ Unfortunately, for him, in an uncharacteristic manner, he failed to think of a believable lie. ‘I’ll see you later!’

And with that he rushed out the Great Hall, leaving you once again gawking with a confused face at another Weasley twin.

You had your back against one of the rock formations near the Black lake, deciding which of the 2 dresses you would be wearing to the ball.

You were enjoying the last good sunny autumn days, taking in the sights of other students having a picnic on this beautiful Saturday. When suddenly a figure had landed right in front of you.

‘Ahhh!’ You had jumped in fright, causing you to slip a bit.

‘I got you, I got you!’ You felt arms holding you tight, preventing you from falling off the rocks.

Once you had regained your balance you check to see the perpetrator that had gave you a heart attack.

‘CEDRIC DIGGORY!!!!!!!! I TOLD YOU TO STOP DOING THAT!!’

The boy chuckled. ‘I know y/n/n, but I just couldn’t help it!’

You narrowed your eyes at him. Which made him laugh even more.

‘You know you love me.’ He gushed, bring you into a hug.

‘And that is my weakness’ Your reply being muffled by his shoulder. You Cedric were as close as brother and sister, having basically grew up together as both your families super close. Your father is best friends with his father and so are your mothers ever since their Hogwarts days. Therefore, naturally you and Cedric have a close bond too, being joined at the hip since birth-the only time part was the 3 months that you are older by.

It has been a while since you two had caught up with each other, him being busy with the Triwizard Tournament ofcourse.

‘Have you got any idea about the second task?’

‘Yeahh’ Cedric gulped.

You crocked a brow. Not buying his bullshit.

Cedric scratched the back of his neck. ‘Fine, I haven’t….’ Gazing towards the lake, he continued. ‘But I think it’s got something to do about the water.’

You take hold of his hand. ‘Hey, it’s alright. You’ll figure it out. We’ll figure it out.’

‘Thanks y/n. I thought initially you wouldn’t be against me joining.’ He confessed.

‘You know I would support you no matter what. But don’t get me wrong, I’m worried for you Ced, always am. The tournament just upped it to level 1000! But I know that you have it in you to win this, to be the Triwizard Champion!’ You beamed. ‘Imagine that Ced, a Triwizard Champion in the family!’

‘It would be great, would it?’

‘Now to the matter at hand, The Yule Ball.’

‘What about it?’

‘Have you asked someone yet? You enquired.

‘Well there is this gorgeous lady that I’ve been meaning to ask…’ He hinted. ‘Though I am waiting for the right opportunity to ask her, you see everything has to be perfect!’

‘Awww, what an absolute sweetheart!’ You swooned.

Behind Cedric, you could have sworn that you saw someone in the trees. However, in your eagerness to know more of Cedric’s possible date, you brushed it off as the swaying of the branches and falling autumn leaves.

‘How about you? Has Mr. Beater asked you yet?’

You sighed. ‘Not exactly…’

Cedric leaned forward with hands on his chin, interested to hear more.

‘He asked if I had got a date yet, to which I said no. Then teased if he was gonna ask me.’ You recalled. ‘Then he froze. I guess I broke him, cause the next thing he said was that he’s got to go clean his socks.’

That had Cedric doubling over. ‘George really said that?!?!!?’ He had his arms wrapped around his stomach. ‘Clean his socks?!!??’

‘Yeah yeah yeah, laugh all you want Diggory. But you still hadn’t asked Cho out yet.’

‘Heyy! I told you I am waiting for the right moment!’

‘C’mon Ced, Sweet intentions aside. Cho has been declining offers to the ball, time is running out and I bet she is getting tired waiting for you to make a move, especially this close to the ball.’ You know how much Cedric likes Cho and hate to see him sad if and when Cho doesn’t get tired of waiting for him. ‘Sooner or later she might just say yes to some other guy, cause you’re talking so long!’

‘I’m sorry Cedric.’ You had realized that you projected your own frustrations on him. ‘I didn’t mean to go off on you like that.’

‘I know y/n, it’s alright really.’ He smiled, having come up with an idea ‘How about this, the next time you see George, YOU ask him out?’ He suggested.

‘ME?!?’

Picking up the discarded catalogue, he remarked. ‘Hmmm, I think that the long one would suit the occasion better, don’t you think? Being it a formal event and all.’

You agreed. ‘and you‘re not the first one to say that too.’ You muttered-more to yourself.

‘Huh?’

‘Nothing!’

‘So what color are you thinking? Blue or…’

‘Oh I got that all figured out! I was thinking that since the point of the Triwizard Tournament is school unity, I want the grown to be featuring my house colours.’

Fred had ran back to the Gryffindor dormitories as fast as he could. Glad to spot that his twin brother laying down on the bed.

As much as he enjoys teasing his siblings. He could no longer endure the obliviousness of his brother and y/n. He can no longer take the constant nonessential pining, especially when they obviously like each other.

Fred had been trying to get them together for the past month, but it seems that subtly pushing them to the right direction isn’t working. Which leaves him with no choice.

‘If you want to make a move, today would be the perfect time to go for it’ Stated Fred.

‘What?’

‘I can’t take it anymore Georgie!’ He grabs his brother by the collar. ‘I CAN’T TAKE IT ANYMORE! I KNOW YOU LIKE Y/N AND BELIEVE ME GEOGRE WHEN I SAY THAT SHE LIKES YOU BACK OKAY.’ Fred pleads, shaking George with each word. ‘AND YOU HAVE GOT TO MAKE A MOVE TODAY! NOW! ASK HER TO THE BALL BEFORE CEDRIC DOES.’

George now dizzy, mumbled. ‘What? How?.....How do you know this?’

‘I saw them together at the lake and me being the best brother that you have decided to eavesdrop.’ Fred admitted. ‘And guess what, Cedric plans to ask a gorgeous lady- y/n- to the yule ball but is just finding the perfect opportunity.’

‘Therefore, brother dearest, it’s only a matter of time til that happens. And I your very supportive wingman urge you to freaking ask y/n out RIGHT NOW before it’s too late.’

That news that Cedric might ask y/n to the ball before he does, had put George back into his senses.

In record time, George had tidy up his clothes and fixed his hair. ‘Right.’ He turned to Fred who was looking smug leaning on the door frame. ‘How do I look?’

‘Smashing.’

‘Great, Now get out of the way you prick.’

George was busy thinking on how to ask y/n out to the yule ball and possibly even side in the chance to ask to go on a date with him, when he accidentally bumped into someone.

‘Wooooahh careful George!’

Damnit! he thought, out of all the people in this huge school, he just had to bump into the one person he doesn’t want to see.

‘Diggory.’ George growled.

‘You two alright?’ Said a voice beside them.

In his annoyance towards Cedric, George hadn’t noticed that you were close by. ‘Yeah, I’m good.’

‘Heyy’ Cedric interrupted. George had to stop himself from rolling his eyes. ‘I’ll see you later okay?’

Cedric kissed your forehead and whispered. ‘Good luck.’

This was is. George interpreted that sibling affection as you going out with Cedric to the ball.

Accepting defeat, he cleared his throat. ‘I guess imma go too-‘

‘Wait George!’ You held onto his arm to prevent him from leaving. ‘I wanted to ask you something.’

‘Go ahead.’ Replied George, curious onto what it is that is so important to ask him.

‘Do you find it sexy when girls make the first move, or should I wait for you to do it yourself?’

‘Hmm?’ George once again confused.

‘Gosh you are slow sometimes aren’t you.’ You chuckled. You take a step closer to him, coming up face to face. ‘George Weasley will you go to the ball with me?’

It took a second for George to believe what he was hearing. ‘YES!!’ He exclaimed then recomposed himself. ‘Yes, I would love to go to the ball with you.’

Wrapping his arms around your waist, he decided to take it one step further- cause what else has he got to lose? ‘Will you y/n l/n go on a date with me?’

You bring your arms to his neck, his him close. ‘I’d love nothing more.’ You grinned, pulling him into a long awaited kiss.

Poison Ivy for a Batman movie

It’s very important to me that poison ivy is fucking terrifying. Not the refined, lipstick wearing seductress we’re used to.

I want Ivy to be a wild woman. Messy hair, dirty body that’s covered with moss and fungi like lichen. She’s completely apathetic to human lives- as apathetic as we are to blades of grass we trample.

I guess her main goal is to murder businessmen of Gotham (Bruce Wayne included?) who’re trashing the environment somehow.

The only time she emotes is over her plants. She comforts them, talks to them, cries when they die. But it’s very clear that she doesn’t give a fuck about human beings. She doesn’t care about the pain she inflicts on others. She’s not a sadist, she’s worse- the only thing she gets from murder is the satisfaction that a parasite is dead.

Batman is investigating the disappearances of some hikers. The police have a suspect, Pamela Isley. Batman thinks she’s partly to blame, but how could she have done this all by herself? There were groups of multiple hikers going missing at once- she had to have help.

We cut to ivy being questioned by two police officers. An officer is eating an orange. He offers one, she declines. He places the seeds on a napkin in the table. As the interrogation goes on she’s mostly stoic, but zeros in on the orange, irate at how disrespectful the officer is being by eating it.

Bruce is in the woods, trekking the hikers’ same path.

Police finally ask her straight out if she knows anything about the hikers disappearance. Of course she does, she’s responsible for them.

Batman is deep in the woods now. Only the moon illuminates his path. He’s being watched; and turns just in time to see an animal (Some kinda mountain lion? Idk something that’s gonna attack someone but not like a bear)

She killed them. Why on earth did she kill all those people? The officer is done his orange, all of the seeds in a neat pile. She slides the napkin toward her, absently turning a seed in her hands.

Batman runs for it, into a clearing. He falls, and just before the animal attacks, Bruce shines a laser pointer in its face and scares it off. He’s alone again; it’s quiet. Something catches hid eye. It’s in the foreground of the shot, but blurred.

“I was hungry.”

The camera focuses. Its a decomposed human hand. Bruce found the missing hikers.

The police are incredulous. They likely think she’s just crazy. Did she have help? No. Than how? She looks at one of the officers. Can she have a cup of coffee?

Everywhere he looks, the moon highlights carnage and bones. He throws himself against a tree, and something knocks to the ground. An eye. Slowly, he looks up. A body hangs in the tree above him, entangled in vines.

One officer leaves. Ivy throws a seed into the remaining officer’s mouth. Blood splatters everywhere. She grabs the seeds and leaves. The dying officer has a plant growing out his throat.

After she escapes and the plot happens or whatever, Bruce is on her trail on a motorcycle.

She runs into a building, and he skids to a halt. Before he gets off the bike, he reads the inscription.

It’s a botanical garden.

“Oh shit.”

The glass building explodes with plant life and ivy is at her most powerful.

To beat her, Batman has to fight her on her own turf- the woods.

She’s taken robin and batgirl hostage. When she has him in a corner, he pulls something from his belt.

“It’s over, Ivy,” he says, his thumb hovering over a button. “The entire Forrest is rigged. Make any sudden movements, and I blow up everything in a three mile radius.”

For the first time, Ivy shows real emotion, and it’s horror. He can’t do this, it’ll kill her babies, her family.

“I’ll...I’ll kill the kids,” she tries weakly.

“And then I’ll kill you,” Batman says, “and myself, and the trees go up in flames.”

Ivy weighs her options but she comes up with no answer. She breaks down and surrenders.

She’s locked in the back of a van, with Jim Gordon on the phone, insisting that yes, remove all the plants from Arkham this instant.

Batgirl, Batman and Robin watch the van pull away.

R: hm. I kinda wanna salad.

BG: so uh...what’re you gonna do about the bombs?

Batman: huh?

BG: The- the bombs?

R: yea. How’d you even set them up so fast?

Bruce pulls out the detonator. The kids momentarily panics as Bruce presses the button- a little red light in the middle of robins forehead.

It’s the laser pointer. He bluffed her.

Batgirl and Robin proceeds to freak the fuck out for him risking their lives because holy shit were the odds not in your favor dude what the fuck.

So yeah. My pitch for a movie ivy is just an extremely misanthropic cannibal savage. Pretty rad I think.

My quick&incomplete&unthought-out plot synopsis / summary for my crappy tcm (remake timeline, between the beginning and the first one) survival horror w Sirppi (refer to this post and this post) because i am that stupid & waste all my tme on daydreaming:

Beginning w a childhood montage. Kinda standard just, probably Sirppi & Thomas meeting, playing, finding comfort in eachother (sirppi defending Thomas from other kids etc kinda cutesy stuff). Finding fun cool places 2gether. Whispering 2 eachother at the dinner table and being home at the Hewitt household.

Ending where they're in their teens, standing looking at eachother and Sirppi is clearly leaving, just having packed their hippie ass van. Assuming some kinda saltiness between them?

Pov from the trunk of Sirppis car as they close it and some shitty 70s pop song starts playing,

-> a clear timeskip as we watch a car drive along roads and cut to the inside of the car, and it's sirppi (now clearly older) and some friends driving on a roadtrip on some rly hot day

Theyre talking abt returning to Sirppis hometown, and Sirppi is established as kinda meek and quiet as his friends question him abt all the fun things 2 do. There isn't the same smooth chemistry & everyone is kinda talking over eachother.

If i was not super lazy i would insert some bg abt history w traveling & give the other characters some roles in the theme of home & what it means but i AM lazy so theyre just hewitt food rn

Probably follow along similiar 2 the tcm plots here in GENERAL.... xept they run out of gas or smth and Sirppi glances over into the distance at the rising meat plant (dramatically) and is like "i know where we can get some help"

-> anyways yeah they do get 2 the Hewitt household. Hoyt meets Sirppi, who he kinda did like before they left bc they were a friend 2 Thomas and Hoyt thought they'd be a future Hewitt, but got incREDIBLY bitter at for leaving. (Him as the one not understanding that different people have different needs; including him, someone who would have done better to live in a more accepting loving enviroment)

The friend group has kinda begun to split off. Idk. Some wanted 2 go swimming or shit, sm r making fun of Sirppis hometown & the people (them as the hatered for the place that you felt trapped in but also the nervous love for it because it was where you grew up, split themes. I guess.....) and Tommy gets back home from idk. Walk. And Hoyt, not sharing that they're Sirppis friends, directs him 2 take them out one by one.

So yeah lol slow stupid scene of cutting between Sirppi sitting drinking tea with Luda Mae (understanding, but bitter) and the other ladies of the house and Thomas just tcm styled awful chainsaw massacring som of the friends around the lot (*chainsaw noises and screaming* "what was that? 👁 — 👁" "oh don't worry about it's cicada season sweety <3 just a moment, I gotta talk with Hoyt about something<3" *cut to them whisperfighting abt the situation bc Luda wouldv just preferred to let them go*

-> just. Some shit happens. Idc. Skip skip skip i just wanna go nap. Anyways everyone ends up kinda scattering and Sirppi is left at the table alone at some point, and starts to kinda wander around. They find Thomas hella sweaty, confused looking, bloody in the kitchen (thinking its pig blood nat) looking at them like a ghost

Sirppi approaches, almost looking kinda like. Just so melty, like they just wanna hug him immediately, but r too shy to. (Hes grown so tall... and big... and handsome...) so they just do this slow walk towards him and he backs up to a freezer where he's just stuffed one of their friends :)

Sirppi having Thomas "cornered" over the freezer, but seeming kinda ready to back up, but some weak sounds come from the freezer or sm shit and Thomas has to lunge and he comes closer w the intent of subduing Sirppi but they understand wrong and just clutch hug him like they've wanted 2 do that for years (not caring that hes covered in blooe n all that) and its super cute and Thomas also kinda melts into it 😔😔😔😔😔😔😔 huffing n puffing against their hair and trying to calm down....

Hoyt comes back and ruins everything

Yeah essentially just cracks some shit joke but is genuinely upset that Thomas is so quickly just.... being so warm 2 this person that left the family.

They pull back and yeah there's some sjitty comedy abt Sirp now being covered in bloodstains. They grew up around a meat plant tho they're cool... esp since it's Thomas.

Luda Mae offers them some fresh clothes probs so they get lead out, bit only after some Super Longing Glances tm between them & Thomas, the besties ("yall can talk all you want but tommy has some work 2 do and you both need to clean up")

Hoyt barrades Thomas about being silly for being so attached. Standard hateful hoyt stuff. Thomas just stands there n takes it but smacks the freezer whenever they hear scrathing / whimpering 😭😭😭 (i hate this but yk)

Anyways yeah the dinner scene is Sirppi & the friend the beginning style st the hewitt table and the family (mostly hoyt) finally in spoken word properly untangles the emotions and themes

Luda Mae probably tries to suggest Sirppi stay, which starts an argument between her & Hoyt (bitter but willing 2 let you try to live up to their standards again Luda Mae VS bitter and betrayed feelings Hoyt who believes that since he's had to stuff himself into the box of this enviroments standards, you should be too but bc u didn't u should be punished & killed)

Friend gets killed, defi. Some time passes.

The scene w Thomas cleaning the table & Sirppi talking (having cried a lot already), reminiscing on mistakes in a hoarse voice.

Also asking thomas to swipe off snot off of their face as like the comedic lightening but it's also like cute in a gross way and theyre super close and sirppi starts crying again ant Thomas is like ?? :( and Sirppi is like im crying bc i want to ask you to come look for home rn but I and You know I can't bc everything thats happened here <3333

-> SOMETHING happens, Sirppi gets away and the end chase scrne ensues, final boy/enby hours. Dunno. Its all horrifying & green colored and stuff, but at the last moment Thomas clearly lets Sirppi just run off after some dramatic shit. Idk.
