Eyo, figured I'd give this a whirr because I'm just sitting on my bum doing nothing. What would you say is the daily routine of the ASM:R crew? You know just the utterly mundane things they do to pass their time when they aren't fighting for their lives.

LMAAAOOO Daily Routines. Oh. You're asking as though they have those these days. These poor souls barely had a concept of a normal day from how much has hit them back to back.

But for the sake of this, the routine when something isn't messing up their day usually goes along something like this:

-Wake up, get breakfast (or skip it if you're one of the naughty adults, haha)

-Go train with Meta/the other adults or older teens or help with any tasks (if you're one of the kids or younger teens) / Go train/spar with the others (if you're one of the adults) / Attend to King Dedede's [or the other royals'/leaders'] orders/needs (if you're summoned by him [them]) / Work on the Halberd (if you're one of the Meta Knights not busy with the kids/ are Cypha or Doc) / Temper/repair weapons and armor (if Cypha) / Repair Castle Dedede (if you're one of the the Waddle Dees or have nothing else going on) / Go collect materials or important treasures (are the Squeak Squad/are anyone they ask to assist them in recon) / Patrol (if requested/is your shift) / Any other specific task needed at the moment

-After the main things above are tended to, there is "free time" aka, go play, train/spar a bit more (either with supervision or not, it varies), research into personal things, yell at others to go eat or take a break, help the Waddle Dees a bit more with their own tasks, go to Air Ride City and race, shop, get dinner/ lunch, tend to any other tasks needed

-Wind down/go to bed or tend to any last minute tasks, check on anyone in the vicinity (be it physical health, mental health, general safety)

-Sleep / Dream Walk and check on everyone's Dreamscapes (if Vladimir) / attempt to master control/lucidity in the Dreamscape (if Meta or Kirby)

It's usually a mixed bag of "if x then do y" as well as keeping tabs on each other and the kids. They have an interesting system and everyone just kind of pitches in where they can or need to. But typically that would be the "routine" if nothing life-threatening was happening that day.

It wasn’t everyday a demon could prove a challenge for someone like Wukong. It was even harder to find someone who could have the king on the defensive. It was a rarity that someone came along with the strength to clash against the king and leave him reeling. Perhaps it was that time without proper rest made way for weakness, weakness that could be exploited. So when the king falls and the inevitable strike comes. The attack doesn’t reach, a low hiss that echoes, turning into a guttural growl as the king’s shadow morphs. A flicker before a claw encloses around the fist that was aimed straight for the golden simian’s face. Lips pulled back and fangs bared, pearly white teeth that will soon be stained with blood. Still healing wounds are wrapped as a claw soaked in dark magic slashes into the other demon that reels back before the Macaque occupies the space. Crouched over the fallen king, shielding him with his entire body as his pale white fur is puffed up. Segments still ebony black as his glamors flicker. He shouldn’t be out here but he is all the same. The demon’s evidential surprise at the fact the rumored great enemy of the king is now defending him is snarled out. Pushing itself forward towards both, Dusk lunges first. Pain. Old wounds flare as claws dig against his shoulders. His partial vision is a hindrance when he can’t see the attack coming from the right. His senses are his only saving grace in twisting to the side and kicking them in the gut before his claw slashes across their face. Fresh blood that splatters as he internally cheers about his momentary triumph. Momentary because a large reptilian tail slams into him and he staggers. Vision blurred for a moment as he tried to get his bearing’s if only to be picked up and thrown into the nearby tree. Which snaps against his weight as he opens his eye, ears perking upwards before he ducks under the next claw that comes his way. Twisting his frame, powerful legs strike out and connect with its chest before his arms hook around it and drag it down. Slamming it face first into the dirt. Over. And over. Again. And again. Until movement ceases. Until he can only hear the raspy breaths of the enemy. He slowly moves away, a claw going to his side to press against his newest wound. Pitch black blood that drips down his frame before slowly gazing over to the one who’d witnessed the brutality. The words stick fast in his throat but he manages to speak them all the same, even as he ruggedly breathes. Even as he bleeds and bruises. He shouldn’t have put himself in this fight but he did anyway because- “I’ll always be right here for you, whenever you need me.” Firm even if he’s almost breathless. Even as his body aches in pain.

“Dammit...”

This was a rare occurrence for sure, one that rarely if ever happened in the last five thousand plus years he had come into being. After all, the Monkey King wasn’t someone you just casually picked a fight with less you wanted to be in a world of pain afterwards. It was true, now-a-days he tended to be a bit more laidback than the his halcyon days of his youth — than again those past exploits were the reason he had garnered such a reputation for himself. Anyone, mortal or immortal alike, knew his name by now and knew what they were getting into if they decided to be foolish enough.

It seemed luck had been on this particular fool’s side today, not only catching the great sage off guard — something that was hard to do — but catching him at a time when he was vulnerable. Not that he hadn’t put up a grand display, even with how exhausted and weak he was feeling, his power was no laughing manner even in his state. Still, the grueling circumstances had taken their toll and one small slip-up from the golden simian was all it took for the demon to have it’s chance.

Oh, he was going to be sore all over for a while after the hit that had sent him reeling in pain. Collapsed on the ground as a pained groan escaped past clenched fangs, not even able to recall the last time he was in so much pain. Death wasn’t a threat — five times immortality kind of made that near impossible to accomplish — but didn’t mean it couldn’t take him out of commission or do some serious damage. Awaiting the blow...

“ — ?!”

Golden eyes opened in surprise when the strike never came, instead feeling a form above his own. A presence that he was all too familiar with and knew all too well. Not expecting the other to come to his aid, a bit surprised in fact.

“W-Wait — !!”

A hiss passed his lips as he sat himself up, feeling like something was definitely broken. That would be a surprise given how durable and pretty much invulnerable he was. Didn’t mean it was impossible just a hard feat to accomplish at times — especially when he wasn’t one to go down all that easy. Pushing past the pain that was flaring up everywhere, worry across his face as the other simian engaged the intruder. He was still healing after all, the bandages adorning their form an indication of that and set off Wukong’s protectiveness as he tried to fight his body to intervene and to help. Body protesting and refusing to move with any urgency, instead finding himself collapsing.

Only able to watch as the other completely decimated the demon in question, their luck finally taking a turn not in their favor. It was impressive to say the least, even as worry flared to life inside him. Watching as new injuries were added to the old ones that were still healing, not enjoying the other pushing themselves like this. For him of all people.

“...you idiot...”

A soft laughter, wanting to scold him further but finding his strength finally fading. His body finally giving into the fatigue that he been trying to stave off for the last few moments. Vision blurring and slowly fading as he found himself drifting to unconsciousness.

“You...didn’t ne-need...”

Words slurring slowly together and slowing down. The darkness calling to him and for once he couldn’t fight it off like so many other times. Finally giving into the exhaustion.

“...”

Form slumping finally where it laid on the ground before the other, golden hues shutting. The Monkey King was out.

He also likes it when you both are in the same room,you can be doing something different or even just being quiet,as long as your there he doesn’t mind

He likes to spar alot aswell,but he never lets it get to the point where either of you get hurt

He’s very protective of you despite the fact he dosnt really need to be

He just cares alot

Why Education Systems Suck

Something that is kinda universal in most of the world is one thing: The education systems suck. And where they don't suck, they are on their best way to sucking. The reason is, basically, the same problem like with everything else: Capitalism. Because capitalism does actually does not want well educated people. Capitalism wants what we in Germany call "Fachidioten", which translates into "specialized idiots".

We see that probably the strongest in the USA. Because while German education over here sucks hard... it does not suck half as much as American education. Stuff that we learn at times early in our equivalent of high school, folks in the US will never learn unless they are studying it at college or university. I talked about media literacy before and it is probably the most clear example of this. Again, not saying Germany is great in this regard... but at least it is not the US.

There is other stuff, of course, that ends up hurting education a lot. Standardized testing, grading in school, having those rigorous curricula and stuff like that. It is all hurting it. And for example standardized testing is something that gets more and more popular over here in Germany. And it is bad. Because standardized testing does not aim to test the actual understanding kids have of a topic. Rather it tests how good you are at standardized tests.

But why does capitalism want "specialized idiots"? That, too, is simple. Because "specialized idiots" are easier to control. For two reason: People who are better educated have more opinions and think more for themselves. As such they are more likely to question politics and the like, or the running narrative. They might in fact question capitalism itself, which of course would be bad for capitalism.

There is another reason why "specialized idiots" are good to control. See, if you have an economy where job opportunities are bound to your specialization. So, you pick one specialization and then you are basically stuck with it. It limits your ability to choose jobs and hence takes power from you as the employee. And capitalism wants disempowered employee, because - again - they are easier to control.

So... I want to talk a bit about school and how to improve school this week. You know, among the rest of the usual fandom postings and such xD

Sonetto: The most voilent character in the suitcase

No, this isn't a joke... well, it kinda is? But I also have proof that Sonetto is very violent and impulsive, despite also being the by-the-book righteous girl we know her to be.

First of all, in the epilogue, Sonetto and Regulus fight, and then Regulus falls to the ground, clutching her arm and saying it's broken. Now, we know she was just pretending, but Sonetto didn't know that, and what was her response?

I mean... if your enemy is already on the ground, and seemingly injured, why ask her to fight you again??? Wtf Sonetto. Good thing Vertin had her own agenda and prevented further confrontation.

Then, in ch1, Sonetto and Sotheby are lost in the underground Laberynth of the Walden and then finally see a stage behind a brick wall. Sotheby even remarks it looks like there's a party outside. Sonetto's immediate response? She wants to blast the freaking wall.

Again, she has to be stopped, this time by Sotheby, who reminds her that an explosion could hurt ppl and they shouldn't act so impulsively. Starting to see a pattern here?

Then, after Forget me Not delivers the "good news" and the gang escapes through the Laberynth, they run into another pair of Italians.

Schneider is carrying Marian on her back and comforting her, not to mention that the two girls look very alike. Yet, when Sonetto sees this sight, she accuses her of being the one who had been torturing Marian and then, without waiting for an explanation, immediately attacks rather violently (the game even points it out).

Granted, there are also instances where this violent side of Sonetto comes in handy, like all the times she fights the manus, but especially when she's told Vertin joined the enemy and Schneider died, and she responds by seeking vengace through combat.

Schneider even remarks that Sonetto was rather fierce during the fight.

BUT we're not done yet with Sonetto's impulsiveness! In ch3 someone is following her around at the rehabilitation center and, after unsuccessfully trying to lose them, she grabs a trash bag and puts it on their head.

Now, imo this was very reasonable and smart, since she didn't know who was following her. What was a bit more problematic however, is that she then proceeded to beat this individual, whose identity was still unknown to her btw, despite the fact that Matilda didn't attack her and was just trying to escape.

And finally... the one impulsive act that almost cost Sonetto her own life:

She broke the vow of silence and attacked Arcana in the hall of truth despite the oath she made and the fact that Arcana didn't even try to get close to them; we just see her clapping and then putting a finger to her lips to indicate silence, yet Sonetto immediately casted a spell.

Now, I don't want to be too hard on her, I know this is what she was taught to do all her life, plus it's her nature as a protective doggo to act this way, but I do think it's something she should work on.

Plus, it's kinda hilarious that a character whose signature phrase is "may the peace be with us" is anything but peaceful, don't you think? XD
