sorry if ive already asked this i forgot if i sent it in or not. is dark meta okay after the whole revival thing 😭 did he reform or did he stay dead? what about mirror galacta in that case? how is he feeling about dark’s apparent death and possible revival? theyre twinning now ig

Nah, no one's asked this but it's pretty safe for anyone to assume Dark Meta is fine, he's back too, he's just got his own version of rebirth where he's got perma-mirror cracks where Meta has scars and also lacks his own Warp Star. Shadow Galacta was also furious---in original scenes he was going to burst in and yell at everyone for daring to let the OG Meta die, but for constraints and focus reasons I cut this.

The other Morpho and Necro had their own things going on in the outside of Nightmare as well, so you can presume most things went down similarly. Kinda like this:

They went home once they saw regular Meta was fine, though that didn't stop the reflections from getting upsetti spaghetti over the end of days nearly happening sooner than expected because of sheer stupidity and melodrama. They cleared things up pretty quick though since the reflections are pretty chill once you kind of just accept that yeah, you do have that aspect of that self within and don't deny it or excuse it.

In later bits, like in the Allies Arc, Meta would have met with Dark Meta again and he would have absolutely been teasing him about the ordeal and how crappy he was at keeping in touch with his darker side despite basically being family with a bunch of Demon Beasts at this point---from there, he'd be helping him with the whole Jambandran issue and would have filled him in on his part of what happened where he fought his Morpho as well and dealt with the same shenanigans. Honestly they would be more chill and friendly at this point and greet each other like old pals.

After all, who else would better get you than yourself---even if he acts like you if you were stuck in your angsty teen phase?

#All is well don't worry the reflections are fiiiiine #They would only stir again with Allies because DMK and that's kind of a big deal with VT's rebirth and stuff causing an issue #Also by Allies Era/post Nightmare War Meta would have his Sigil I forgot to mention that #He got it fashioned since his little crew would rather keep staying with him than really branch out to the GSA specifically #So he just officially made his own division since it was very unofficial before lol #Though he's 'retired' they still seek him out for training and leadership/advice #Man can't sit still so he low-key still tries to run things to feel useful even if he shouldn't #Dark Meta is the saaaame way but cranked to 11 #ASMR Chitter Chatter #Starlyteart

The fact that Popopo is more worried that neither Meta and Gala would not want to hug him anymore after finding out he was Void Terrmina in the past, is just so him.

Sweet kid indeed. Someone hug him.

The revelation was going to make the arc really interesting and play into Popopo's conceptual origins as being based on the "original Kirby" in both an IRL sense and perhaps a precursor sense since in the ASM:R verse they were on that brink of "WHERE IS THE CHOSEN KIRBY WE ARE GETTING DESPERATE HERE."

Some fun extra detail with intentional "misinformation" in the story was Galacta's inconsistency with having "destroyed" vs "sealed" Void because he considered having dealt with him to effectively be the same thing, but naturally The Ancients had other plans. Since Dark Matter is effectively immortal until killed, what remained of Void was easily manipulated and used for some experiments, one of which resulted in little Popopo in hope of either Kirby finally showing up or for him to just straight up BE Kirby. Gala had no idea about the stuff but if he knew, he'd be pissed.

As mentioned, S2 was mostly going to be about Galacta's side of things and playing with that mess, and having him bond with some of the others a bit better was in the plan as well---having him forge a solidarity with Void Termina of all sorts was going to be a very fun route to take considering BOTH of them effectively suffered from The Ancients messing with them.

It's also low-key why Popopo keeps his horns like Galacta's---he admires him and his other side remembers their fight. But again, he doesn't hate him in the slightest, but was afraid he might hate him if he knew what he was. Thankfully, Galacta is not that type of guy. He knows this innocent baby boy is not the same "monster" he fought all those years ago and would be questioning if that "monster" really was one to begin with, considering around that time Zero (aka, Void's parent) was sealed away and Void was just seeking revenge/rescue while on an understandable rampage.

But yes, the baby will get all the hugs and also help bring a better era for the Dark Matters in general with Vladimir. He's happy he finally feels useful, even though he always was, haha.

#Loooreeeee #Popopo is a precious little one #And no the other DMs couldn't sense him since VT was like heavily dormant in him until Allies---Batamon can hide themselves/their presence #That's a gift from their maker VT so yeah c:#Popopo has been unintentionally hiding that aspect of himself #Whatever is left of the OG VT would likely want to hide and NOT being experimented on anymore so yeah #Plus living life as a Puff that feel things? THAT'S PRETTY RAD #FRIENDSHIP AND STUFF IS FUN #Starlyteart #ASMR Chitter Chatter #Side note with the horns; those are also a little trait from the OG VT as well but the fact they also mimic Galacta's is really cute #He can easily change them into anything he wants in his new form but CHOOSES to keep them as they are because they remind him of Galacta

Some conceptual scribbles of things for ASM:R's version of FL, so it was me just mulling over ideas and what I was planning for that point.

Fun concept of little Popopo being a positive fragment of Void Termina. He would have been put back together after Star Allies and basically been properly reborn with his experiences as a young Puff with everyone else and actually got to experience emotions as he always wanted to.

He holds 0 hard feelings toward Galacta, lol and would try to bring Zero and Dark Mind back since they deserve to enjoy life too. Popopo is a very sweet soul that was well raised under Meta's wing.
