Bigots don't realize how far I want society to go in terms of acceptance. I want to see a world where an eighteen year old getting bottom surgery that leaves them entirely without genitals, or with both sets of sex organs, to be commonplace. I want to see a world where the hotboy singer all the straight girles are fawning over to be an underweight pre T trans guy. I want there to be public theistic luciferian pagan churches, that were converted from catholic churches, and have church school attached to them. Magical Misogyny Rant

I am so tired of men assuming they know more about magic, witchcraft, and the occult than me. 🤬 So often, when I tell a man I’m into witchcraft or chaos magic, he assumes himself to be the greater authority on the subject. As someone who is approaching their 11th year of practicing, it’s insulting to be constantly placed as knowing less by default, by people (*cough* mostly men) who have been practicing a meager fraction of that time. Fortunately, it’s easy to put them back in their place, but even then, they reduce me to a piece of ass without actually acknowledging or appreciating my occult knowledge and power. It’s like they have to pretend we’re on the same level, that I’m not a legit demon priestess entertaining someone who got into chaos magic 2 years ago and doesn’t even have a sigil to show for it. The audacity is real.

I mostly notice this type of misogyny happening when I talk to men my age or younger. (I’m in my early 30s.) This is another reason I prefer to date older men: I’ve noticed they are more honest and realistic about their level of practice. They also tend to express more genuine, good-hearted interest in my practice, including the ones who were/are into New Age spirituality. These so-called “light worker” types tend to shun the Left Hand Path, yet these “love and light” senior dudes get it and show more respect. So, there’s seriously no excuse for men in my same peer group and spiritual community to act like this towards me.

If/when I meet someone who has been practicing longer than me, I cherish my connection with them. If I’m privileged with learning from them in any capacity, I am grateful. Furthermore, I know it would be a grave error to assume I know more than they do. I’m getting embarrassed just thinking about it. If I were to meet someone who has been practicing for 20+ years or something and I was also attracted to them, I would swoon to the moon and back! Assuming any kind of authority I don’t actually have would harm my ability to learn from them as well as our relationship in general. Yet that’s what men keep doing to me and I’m over it.

Obviously, everyone has their own special knowledge. It’s always possible to learn something new from someone of any level of practice. But for these newbie occultist men to pretend we’re on the same level occult-wise is so funny/sad to me. For shame!

Welcome to my insane rant about Van Helsing, in the Dracula Hammer movies (with art)

*Quick* explaination of @quijicroix 's and I headcanons for Helsing, and why we think Lawrence (thought it was Abraham but no it's Lawrence in the Hammer cinematic universe) and Lorrimer Van Helsing are the same person (/!\ spoilers for the Hammer's Dracula movies obviously) :

At the end of Brides of Dracula (the second film in the timeline), we see Lawrence get bitten by a Vampire, not Dracula btw, and to remedy the curse he burns his neck and pour holy water on it. And ig by the power of jesus he doesn't get turned into a vampire (boring Hammer resolution) (and he doesn't even get a cool scar).

But we call bullshit on this ! Van Helsing definetly got turned into a (half) vampire !!

1) Lawrence and Lorrimer are both played by Peter Cushing and have the same face. Now I know what your probably thinking "this argument is lazy af", and if we stopped there, yes it would be. But we see Lawrence's son in 7 Golden Vampires (the last film in the serie, but not the timeline) !! And he looks NOTHING like Peter Cushing. So either the Cushing face skipped a generation (whitch is funny to imagine), or his son, who stays in china and never returns to england, serves as a way to help him hide his immortality by taking the identity of his own son, then his grandson Lorrimer.

2) Time for maths everyone ! In Dracula AD 1972, we learn Lawrence died in 1872. BUT !! In 7 Golden Vampires that takes place in 1904 (because the begining of the film is set in 1804 and these movies are obsessed with the 100 years later trope), who is still perfectly healthy and visiting his son in China more than twenty years after his death ?? Lawrence fucking Van Helsing. The only two explainations I see are either Vampirism or tax fraud.

And that would mean his son (Leyland Van Helsing btw) had to fuck very quickly after the movie for Lorrimer to be in his 70s (?) in 1972.

3) If curing vampirism was this easy, why kill the other people who got turned into vampires later in the timeline (rip a lot of the women and Johnny Alucard) ?? It paints Van Helsing in a way better light if you assume his miraculous cure didn't work *in the second film of this 9 movie saga*, and he doesn't just kill people he could cure.

4) it would be a very interesting take on the character, the renown vampire hunter himself becoming a monster, fighting to keep his humanity (but the Hammer didn't have the balls. And we thought about these movies way more than anyone involved in writting them-).

And the circle of violence theme is not between Dracula and the Helsing family anymore, but between him and Lawrence, whitch is way more personnal. And !! raises the stakes in both Dracula AD 1972 (already the best movie out of the 9 by far btw) and Satanic Rites since Dracula isn't the vampire his grandad fought, but his century long ennemy that keeps coming back.

And the scene at the end of Satanic Rites, where Dracula (for the first time in 9 movies) manage to align two sentences and basicly say he wants to end the world because he is tired of dying and coming back !!!!! Whitch is very heartbreaking already, but if he says it to the man who killed him (nearly) everytime ??? (We don't talk about that time Quatermass got him) Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhh

Ok I lied this was not quick but this!!!!!! Is something that has been haunting us for months, and in the words of Quiji : "People need to know."

And Eve loved her husband, as she was made to do. Although she did not know it; her days were full of servitude, and obedience. Not just to her husband, but also, god, who she believed to be good.

Who she believed was mighty and kind.

Who she believed knew her better than herself.

That he knew every thought before she thought it, that he knew every hair on her head.

That he had a destiny for her. So, surely all her actions were ... the right ones? Because in truth, Eve was as she was made to be.

The young woman’s curiosity was ripe. Riper than the pears and oranges and grapes. Riper than the trees, and the flowers. However, her faith never wavered, as she knew nothing else. Because everything she could ever want was before her.

The garden of Eden was beautiful. It was a paradise. (But whose paradise?) As she cooked and cleaned for Adam; he lay in the sun. Day after day, it was the same.

And when she asked god, “is this life?” he would say, “yes Eve, isn’t it good?”

It must be good? How could it be anything but? Adam would hunt while she foraged for berries. And when Adam came back empty handed, she would make something from her own findings.

This is good, she thought, every morning when the sun rose.

Now, there was one rule in The Garden; Adam and Eve must not eat the fruit from a particular tree. The reason? Unanswered.

And one day, an animal that Eve knew as a snake, told her to give in to her curiosities. That was all. The snake told her that god was all-knowing, all-loving. So, he would already know she would take a bite from this tree’s fruit.

It all made sense. Her destiny was known, and this was it. How could it not be? Because surely her life was not to live in servitude!

And so she ate, and it tasted good. Like no other fruit in The Garden. And when she did eat, it was if a part of her was unlocked. Wisdom... she had wisdom. This is what this tree was ... one’s way of gaining their own opinions, their ... their freedom. She did not need to rely on god for the answer, as now she knew them.

Eve ran to Adam, wanting him to claim his own autonomy. Hesitation was in his eyes until he looked into Eve’s. He trusted her, and so he ate.

When both gained clarity, god appeared in a mighty fury.

“The rule has been broken.” His voice boomed and chilled them, surrounding the two naked individuals as if they had been plunged into water.

“Yes. I broke the rule,” Eve stood forward, daring to face god. “And now I do not need to rely on you. Is that what the rule was for? So that you had someone who needed you?”

Adam was silent. Looking from Eve to god and god to Eve. He said nothing as the both of them were cast out of The Garden.

It took him a long while to understand Eve’s words. And a while longer when he realised that just like god, he too needed someone to need him.

This person has messaged me the same question 5 times now despite me politely ignoring them. They are all variations of the same question. It’s always about how Satan is supposedly guiding him to a dark witch through porn. In other words, porn is leading him to harass and fetishize Left Hand Path users like me. Watch out for this guy and the pastor.

@toungeinyourcheeks, you good? Because you seem awfully hellbent on misunderstanding Satan, I figured I’d personally deliver this message from Satan to you:

Satan isn’t leading you to give your soul to a dark witch through porn. But porn sure is guiding you to fetishize Left Hand Path practitioners and disregard our boundaries. We don’t owe you anything, nor are we obligated to indulge your fetishization of us. We do not consent to engaging with your Satanic fetish while we are enjoying/expressing our Satanism on Tumblr. Repeatedly asking me such a question despite me politely ignoring you is a boundary violation. Unless you have a complete lack of self-awareness, I can only imagine that this was all deliberate.

Stop harassing Left Hand Path women, femmes, and people you just perceive as women on Tumblr. Satan has his own ways of dealing with predators, and he will deal with you accordingly if you keep this behavior up.

Just had to (after sitting on it for a while) respond to a comment on my fic to tell someone I'm gonna be sympathetic to Alicent & have very different opinions on some of the characters (in the nicest & most diplomatic, "I am not addressing all of this" way possible) so they could make an informed decision on if they want to keep reading this absolute behemoth.
