I'm studying Lilith from a theistic satanic perspective and I've seen some people say worshipping her is cultural appropriation? Can Jewish fems weigh in on this?

Where is the same energy for Kanye West?
You know, the man who literally said he loved H*tler and other fucked up stuff?
As a jew, I am so tired of this performative act. People don’t really care about antisemitism. They just want to bully women. I do not see people post about Kanye West, at all. Sure, there used to be some memes on the internet but that’s it. And memes make the whole issue with Kanye West…weirdly unserious? Where is the same energy for actual nazis? The ones who meet up every other week in a public meeting house, ones who claim mandatory vaccines are the same as the Shoah, the ones with nazi symbols tattooed on them, the ones who gang up and beat up people in the street for fun, the ones who proudly yell H*il H*tler, the ones who shoot up synagogues…
People claim to care about jews but they choose this easy form of “activism”, which is bullying a woman for writing about goblins. In my opinion, this is just lazy. If you really care that much about standing up for jewish people, you should invest your energy in something else.

Me when I refuse to acknowledge that there's been 50 years of Feminism since the 70's and that the Second Wave is in fact not the end-all-be-all of Feminism.
Tumblr media
We are in fact currently in the Fourth Wave of Feminism.
I wonder what Feminist theories began popping up in the late 70's-early 80's that Radfems really don't want young Feminists to expose themselves to? I wonder if it might have to do with the fact that Black and Decolonialist Feminist theory exist, in part, as direct critiques of Radical Feminism? Womanism is a good place to start learning about early modern Black Feminism, but even Womanism exists as critique of Radical Feminist thought.
If your knowledge of Black Feminism begins and ends with Womanism from the Second Wave, you have failed Feminist studies.
I also wonder what Feminist theories have begun popping up from the 90's to present that Radfems really don't want young Feminists to expose themselves to? I wonder if it might have to do with the fact that Intersectional Feminist theory has been growing and expanding in the decades since? Maybe it has something to do with the fact that most Intersectional Feminist theory exists in direct opposition to the Radical Feminist idea that womanhood is the most oppressed class in society and that Patriarchy is the main force of oppression in the world?
It's always amazing to me when Radfems claim to be anti-White Supremacist and even acknowledge that White Supremacy and Patriarchy work in tandem, while simultaneously enforcing the idea that addressing White Supremacy is only important in the context of womanhood.
There Is No Hierarchy of Oppressions - Audre Lorde, 1 page PDF, seriously, it's only one - 1 - page, please read it.

I continue to be impressed at how they manage to make literally everything about themselves.
Hitler targeted GAY MEN specifically in the legislation being referred to - paragraph 175. Trans people are not mentioned, no matter how many times you say they were.
Were some transvestites and gender nonconforming individuals lumped in with and conflated with homosexuals, resulting in their imprisonment and/or death? Almost certainly. And that’s terrible, disgusting, tragic, and unacceptable.
But you don’t get to revise who Hitler targeted “first.” Do not claim these falsehoods and trivialise the memories of the millions of Jews and tens of thousands of homosexual men who died by the hands of this regime.
When you claim “trans genocide,” be it now or during WW2 or during any other period in between, you are actively derailing the conversation. You are trivialising what that word means. It means that 6 million Jews were systematically murdered. Did you know that the world’s Jewish population hasn’t even recovered enough to meet pre-war levels? Did you know that? That’s what a genocide is.
There is no trans genocide, there never has been and I’m sure other radfems will agree that we never want there to be. We don’t want you dead. Being imprisoned and/or killed for who you are is evil and heinous. No one deserves that. No race, gender, religion or otherwise.
Trans people are and should be able to discuss issues important to them, to advocate for or against legislation pertaining to their lives, and to live happily alongside the people that they love. But please, leave the actual Holocaust out of this.

Friendly reminder that if your feminism doesn’t include woc, queer women, trans women, disabled women, women of any religion, or sex workers then your “feminism” is shit <3

I just watched Yentl (1983). Then I looked it up on Tumblr and the fact that people are calling the main heroine trans makes me fucking sick.
Yentl was not trans
She was a woman who pretended to be a man and the sole reason for this was that she wanted to study Talmud, which women couldn't do in the past. It's a story about women's oppression, not about fucking trans movement. Yentl explicitly stated that she's a woman, she has always been a woman and that she was sick of pretending that she wasn't. All she ever wanted is being able to study as a woman. She didn't want to be a man. Stop fucking appropriating feminist stories and turning them into your trans agenda. It's straight up lying.

What I want non-jewish people to know
So I made a post about people being shit allies to jewish people. I decided that I’m gonna write about how they can improve bc well, this is my blog and I’d like to share my thoughts. Disclaimer: I am an ashkenazi jew, from eastern europe, living in central europe, so just keep that in mind while reading through this text. My experiences may be different from jews living in a different place.
First off, I think it’d be really helpful if we stopped equating goblins with jews. My views are that while they were probably a mockery of jews in the beginning of time, when people started telling tales and stories, today they are just common folklore characters. Same goes for witches, who make a mockery of old women. Also, I noticed that people come up with more and more “antisemitic” stuff about this new HP game. I think that being like “well thats actually jewish!! That too!! So many jewish things in this game!! Jews are everywhere!!” Is weird.
Don’t compare things to the Holocaust (or any other genocide). It is so so distasteful to equate the horrors of the Holocaust to things like women joking about “it’s either a girl or an abortion” or having to get certain vaccines.
Educate yourself on judaism. I am BEGGING you to read stuff about different topics and different opinions within jewish communities. Please please expand your circle if you are interested in being an ally. Some examples:
Messianic judaism and why a lot of jews find it harmful
Festivities, traditions
Israel - Palestine
The different branches of judaism, like orthodox, conservative, etc.
The Talmud, Kabbala, Torah, what exactly are they?
Stand up for us irl!!!! Being bold in the comments section is easy. A place where I faced a LOT of antisemitism was in school. For example, we went to concentration camp and half the class, even some of my friends, started making jokes with punchlines about gas. I really wished someone had atleast told me that they were there for me but the other half of the class was just silent. Internet activism like posting an infographic about the rates of antisemitic hatecrimes is not very helpful. It’s kind of silent. Calling out self-identifying nazis (surprisingly common in the country I live in) isn’t. Telling your jewish friends they can rant/vent to you about jewish issues too isn’t. Hosting a Hanukka party isn’t.
Cover/paint over/remove nazi symbols. In my country, they can be scribbled on walls, painted on walls and trains, stickers sticked on lamp posts. Also, if you find one in places like a dorm, you can reach out to the dorm’s office and ask them if they can do something about it. They can get it painted over and also send out an email regarding this. I think it’s important to signal that the office does not stand for this and will not be silent about it.
If you can think of more ways to help, feel free to add some other points! Or if you just want to share your experiences
(sorry for any english mistakes)

If there is one thing about this Harry Potter controversy pisses me off is that you can't even turn your arse without being bombarded with articles about problematic thing here, and problematic thing there.
I've never been into Harry Potter. Not like other people. It's never been a part of my childhood. I didn't start reading the books until I was 16 and wanted to see what all the fuss was about. It was one of the most popular books on the internet at that time and as someone who wanted to write fantasy books, I wanted to make sure that I wasn't accidentally copying things. Whatever. I didn't like the books because they were children's books and I was an edgy teenager, so.
I watched the Fantastic Beasts movies because the 1920's and magickal beasts are interesting, and I bought the game because playing as a student at a magick school sounded cool. That's it.
But you legit can't even go on the internet without having all this nonsense shoved down your throat. They were talking about how goblins are based on anti-semitic propaganda and I wanted to read more about it. But you can't even google shit because every result is about Harry Potter. I'm on page 8 of Google results trying to look up the history behind goblins and the link between anti-semitism but every goddamn result is about Jon Stewart and the JK Rowling controversy.
Can ANYONE link me to some articles about whether goblins were based on anti-semitism or whether that came later?

Right now I'm reading a book about female fighters in Warsaw ghetto uprising and it enrages me that we know so little about them. There's so little sources describing them. Why? Because they were always pictured merely as men's companions. As if only males were the real heroes, while the women were only there to help them by doing some less important things. And when there was a woman who was willing to fight and die and was so brave, then she was described as "man-like". It's ridiculous. But I'm glad that women in history are slowly getting their autonomy back.
