I’m not claiming the moral high ground here. I’m on that slippery slope with the rest of you ...

Those of us, that is, who believe that driving while engaged in electronic communications is potentially hazardous behavior ... for  most people. However, some of us, so we think, possess that rare combination of experience and mental dexterity that allows us to drive without actually looking at the road 

Yeah, right ...

For the record, I don’t text while driving. But I do read incoming texts, check directions and make calls. Even though I know it’s all bad.

No more.  A new law awaiting the governor’s signature will make it illegal, as of June 30, to use a hand-held cellphone for any reason. At the moment, the ban is only on texting, which is inadequate and impossible to enforce.

Finally - the motivation we need to behave more responsibly while at the wheel.

And we all have practice at 6:45am the next morning.

This is the shit. This is where happiness comes from. Everyone enjoying their last day pre season before their lives start. It feels like time stopped to allow this night to happen. Tomorrow isn’t real yet. Only tonight.

And through everything, you still want it to happen again. No night will ever quite be the same.
