Oatmeal Souffle/Mug Cake/Thingy! Today I tried an oatmeal recipe by @toriv.fit and sent to me by @kaitlynkennafitness. It's made by blending some oats, milk, syrup, baking powder, and protein powder and then baking at 350° for 15 minutes (after adding peanut butter and chocolate chips.) Mine did not have the same consistency as her video, but I did make slight alterations. For instance: I added some PB Powder and I used coconut milk instead of almond milk (and likely too much of it.) I also used a broken up zero sugar Hershey's bar, but that's just genius on my part. 😉 You can always adjust as needed. The texture of mine was sort of like a mug cake only better. I also used Cinnamon Cookie Batter Level-1 but I think another flavor would have been better suited. Regardless, it was fantastic! Will definitely have to make it again. Perhaps I'll shoot for lower carbs in the future. 😬 By the way, I always recommend 1st Phorm protein powder and American Dream Nut Butter. Happy Oating! On workout days: I’m going to eat my daily fat (with protein, always) for breakfast & then my daily carbs (and protein, duh) pre-workout as an early dinner (around 5, 2 hours before the gym) followed by a protein + greens shake.
~ AM Fat options: Avocado, greek yogurt, nuts, nut butter
~ AM Protein options: Greek yogurt, protein powder, 1/2 protein bar
~ PM Carb options: Oatmeal, quinoa, sweet potato, chickpeas + berries or green apple
~ PM Protein options: Plain Chicken breast, 1/2 protein bar, chickpeas
On non-workout days; I’ll continue with carbs (oatmeal/fruit) for breakfast and keep my day as low fat as possible with a veggie snack in the afternoon before a high protein + veggie dinner.
Still pretty new to this whole macros thing (splitting them up, deciding when to eat which one, etc) so fingers crossed this leads to fat burn / weight loss asap~ AM Protein options: Greek yogurt, protein powder, 1/2 protein bar

I Go Nuts For Donuts I may be working on my abs (I mean... overall health) but I'm still keeping busy as "Chef" Geo. For Comic Con weekend, I made some tasty protein donuts. Well, mostly tasty. I know healthier dishes won't taste the same as sugar-loaded foods but this wasn't my favorite recipe. I'm quickly learning that I'm not a huge fan of coconut flour so I think for the next batch I'll use the recipe Kaitlyn sent me which uses almond flour (which I finally bought.) That being said, these were still good in a pinch! My brother enjoyed them and of course they were a great macro friendly way to start our nerdy adventures. The pink icing (the only proper color frosting for a donut) was actually also a tasty experiment. I made the frosting, which was actually more of a glaze, from powdered sugar, almond milk, and... Cherry Lime Phormula-1! Phormula-1 is a fast digesting protein by 1st Phorm. If nothing else, it made this dish all worth it because the glaze was phenomenal! Perhaps not for chocolate donuts, but in general a huge, delicious success. I'll be honest, I plan to do chocolate frosting and add sprinkles next time. If you don't mind eating something that's clearly not a donut in order to help you reach your goals, this may be the recipe for you. Message me for it.
