Everything hinges on my final breath, From the whirlwinds I desire to grasp the light beneath. From learning darkness to see colors in death.

Everything hinges on my final farewell, To truly feel, in this life's earthly spell, Only when I embrace the great unknown, After the desert, vast, arid, and overthrown.

Doubt, envy, blindness we must leave behind, Our own limitations and fears we must unwind. Perhaps we row towards an unknown shore, Or maybe we know where we yearn to explore.

But everything depends on my demise, To enter the realm of thoughts, a grand surprise. To die with these eyes and this unique gaze, Then reborn with fresh eyes, in life's new maze.

Yet everything, indeed, relies on the end, To die, and through death, a new life to ascend.

Embrace your inner child, even when you aren’t one on the outside 🌈 . . . Does anyone else feel rather duped to when they look at children’s clothes compared to adult ones? Often children’s clothes are made with such detail and are so pretty. I often feel sad that my adult frame cannot fit into them anymore. When I was a child I used to love wearing flouncy dresses. Although I did have my days to wear dungarees and pretend to fix cars like my dad who was a mechanic for years. But I’ve always had a soft spot for pink and up until recently I forgot about that. This dress from @selkie rekindled my love for the colour and now I’m on the hunt to acquire more pink dresses. The child exists within me and every time I put this dress on, I know she is smiling. I’ve been rather busy over the past week or so with journalism coursework and creating my podcast episode. So I’ve not been on here posting any photos. We beat ourselves up for a pimple, cellulite, a crooked nose, thick thighs, no butt, curly hair, invisible eyelashes, no boobs, too much body hair, chicken legs. We tell ourselves we aren’t smart enough, talented enough, strong enough, experienced enough, creative enough, confident enough. Pfff it goes on an on how we feed ourselves this garbage. Unfortunately, society hasn’t done a good job in helping us lift ourselves up instead of feeling so comfortable in bashing ourselves. That’s because it profits off of our insecurities. It sucks. But here’s the truth, at least according to me. It’s ok to feel ugly sometimes, to feel sad sometimes. It’s ok to let yourself bask in some of the darker emotions. What’s important is that it doesn’t last, that it doesn’t outweigh our drive to exist in this complicatedly beautiful world. That we know those thoughts are passing just like everything is always passing. Let yourself cry in the shower, cry in the streets if you need to. But don’t continuously bash on yourself. Instead, when you have the urge, think of what your best friend would say to you, and say that to yourself instead 🖤 Seriously do it, and your life will change for the better. I love when an overly sun lit photo turns out to be cropped to something that resembles a painting. If this were a painting I would title it #asteria ... maybe a little arrogant to say such things but I honestly don't think this looks like me at all. I see art not myself... is that strange? This exhibition really captures the local community, my gran (whose one of the portraits at the exhibition) has been buying her fish and chips here for years. "Dock of The Misty Hills" A wooden walkway did I take, a dock in the misty hills. Shadowed by uncertainy, truth I sought, a battle of mighty wills. A sign, a Seagull, flight! it bid, stand not to battle, my soul, I hid.
