Heyyyy I read through your chengxuan comic "Pride of Jin" and I loved it!! Just wondering if you have any thoughts as to what happens after chapter 10 when wwx is resurrected?

hey, glad you liked it! I always have thoughts, many thoughts! I actually wanted to do an epilogue comics but didn't find the time/energy for that specific thing. Whether it's fair, good or bad, the endings for all characters got changed majorly: JGY gets to leave with his mom's ashes and SMS (Su Minshan) accompanies him on his travels to somewhere where JGY won't be recognized and can start a new life LXC learned about NMJ and JGY in a less stressful situation, in a situation where JGY was no longer in the picture to twist the knife that true stabbed in him, but instead of brooding solitute, he reverts to less healthy coping mechanism - feeling so guilty for not trusting NMJ regarding JGY, he wishes for nothing more than to be able to fix this mistake. goal that aligns with NHS's, who shares that WWX "owes him" bringing NMJ back. WWX doesn't want anything to do with that life again, but NHS finds a big appeal in it and WWX basically teaches NHS ways around demonic cultivation, just so NHS can get his brother back. NMJ gets "brought back" but isn't as controllable as he should be, NHS keeps NMJ in chains but keeps him close, dressed up with his hair styled again, always by his side as he leads the Nie clan in a way where it's less him being part of any events and more in the "don't fuck with Nies, we literally have feral fierce corpses". WWX, JC and LXC are the only ones allowed inside the walls, LXC visits often to play soothing music to NMJ and talks to him, trying to bring the "human" part of him back. WWX and LWJ still get together but it doesn't leave LXC alone, jgy dead and yi city boys destroyed so i call that a win. didn't have many thoughts on their endgame though. and Yi City, i couldn't decide if i'd give xue yang the ability to have both song lan and xiao xingchen by his side as fierce corpses, OR if i'd still have him try and bring XXC back as SL is loyaly by his side as a fierce corpse without wangxian ever interrupting, OR if i'd have Song Lan never find XY and XXC and they'd continue living in their bliss (and i don't want to think of the tragedy i'd throw Song Lan's way to make that be the case :') ) JC and JZX still each have their sect but they have a publicly acknowledged bond/allyship where they may as well work as a unit. JZX finally rules the proud Jins in a respectable way and the Jiangs are stronger than ever under JC's leadership, to the point where Yunmeng becomes the prefered location for new disciples to enlist. JC gets the validation he deserves without being in WWX's shadow and JZX finally turns anew leaf on Jin's-not-so-great track record. And the Juniors, i'd love to explore their together times during studies, not unlike the main characters in their Gusu days, until eventually, i will do a timeskip with them all grown up, causing both mayhem but also being the heroes no one asked for but we all deserve, this DND adventuring group

Boundaries (updated)!

Hail, True Body AU

Hey, I'm Mark/Mustang (whichever you prefer) and I made/make the 'Hail, True Body' AU for the Mandela Catalogue. I've already gave my boundaries briefly when I first started my blog here, but I thought I'd give the points more in-depth here on their own post.

1. Shipping (romantically/sexually)

An absolute and emphatic 'NO'. Do not romantically ship ANYONE in the HTB AU, that also goes for /reader or Y/N content. Not only should you not do this because of it being one of Alex Kister's boundaries, but also because it reduces my work to nothing more than shipping when the story I am telling has no place for it. HTB AU is about platonic and familial love as well as self-love. It's about what it means to be human when it's in direct conflict with the psychological horrors going on all around. It's also about coming to terms with past traumas and hurts and facing them in order to move forward. Shipping undermines everything I am trying to do and want to do with this AU. Plus, having to see NSFW content of your work when you specifically and explicitly don't want it really sucks the fun out of creating something. I am putting my foot down straight out of the gate as hard as I am because I've already had one instance of inappropriateness and never want it to happen again.

That being said, if you want to "ship" (I mean, it's not really 'shipping' in this context) platonically in a 'brOTP' kind of way, you absolutely can. There is plenty of platonic intimacy in the series - hugs, comforting, taking care of each others' wounds, etc. Having a favourite friendship group is absolutely fine and more than welcome if you want to talk about their dynamics or write/draw for them.

2. Art & Fanfic

Have a scene you want to draw or would you like to write a 'what-if' scenario - like maybe a 'what-if Mark had listened to alt!Cesar in the church in chapter 6'? You are absolutely welcome to! All I ask is that you tag it back to the fic series on Ao3 and tag me if you can so I can see and support it - I love seeing what you all make!

This section also covers things like animatics, comics, playlists, and even cosplay!

3. Headcanoning

Loosely tied to the 'Shipping' section, headcanoning characters as being in romantic/sexual relationship with anyone is not permitted. However, you are more than welcome to have headcanons about them as individuals. For example, do you headcanon HTB Mark as transmasc, asexual, etc., or resident eldritch horror alt!Cesar as agender/non-binary? That's awesome, I think having those headcanons are very cool and they're very welcome here!

4. Character Designs

The characters in this AU have very specific designs and outfits across the different eras that these fics take place in. When making art or content of them, please don't significantly change their designs - both physical appearance and their outfits. This is because their designs carry a lot of stuff that is important across the AU, tying into their backgrounds and experiences, etc. For example, if you want to draw Mark post 1992, please don't remove his facial scars or the patches from his denim jacket - they are crucial to his character in this AU!

However, please know you can make small changes. For example, do you think Mark would wear glasses whilst reading? Feel free to add them! Or like @pandoricabox did with their amazing HTB Dave cosplay, you can add small details like stress doodles on skin, or extra jewellery, etc!

If you are unsure if your changes to a character might cross into this boundary, send me a message and I will get back to you ASAP!

5. Roleplaying

This one is a bit more of a difficult one as the rules are a bit more complex(?). I don't mind if you want to roleplay as characters from this AU - roleplay is a good skill to have and it can help greatly with developing writing/storytelling skills! However, the characterisations of the cast in Hail, True Body AU are quite set on their paths and I'd rather not have people complicate things by making public roleplays that have the potential to confuse readers who stumble across them and think they might be accurate depictions of the characters.

So, please don't publicly roleplay as these characters!

However, you are more than welcome to make private roleplays with your friends if that is something you'd like to do! If you end up wanting to share the odd funny or cool moment from said RPs, you can do so, but please make it clear that it is a roleplay and isn't considered canon to the AU.

6. OCs

If you'd like to make your own OCs and write stories about/make art of/roleplay as them within this universe, you are more than welcome to! All I ask is that you follow the same rules as laid out in section 2 for "Art & Fanfic" and credit me for the AU setting you are using. Additionally, if you plan on role-playing as those OCs in this setting, you absolutely can do that publicly - your characters are yours, after all! Only follow section 5 for roleplay regarding the AU's main cast (Mark, alt!Cesar, etc.).

About me:

Welcome to my blog!! My name is Bun! I’m 18 and use she + it pronouns. I love Dislyte (Feng Xun and Ethan are my favorite characters, I’ll start tweaking if you talk about them with me or ask me to write something with them I’m just crazy sorry. I could talk about them all day really.) and I just really want a place to talk about it and share my thoughts with like-minded people.

Requests:

I will take a handful of requests every Wednesday in a first come first serve manner. (Dislyte is the only fandom I plan to take requests from at the moment.) Any requests sent to me outside of Wednesdays will be deleted. I’m sorry :( If I don’t do your rq within a few weeks for whatever reason, just send it again on a Wednesday and I’ll do it eventually. My time zone is EST so make sure you send it at the right time!

One of my favourite threads/drabbles/etc:

This thread from Game Of Diplomacy AU* remains to be one of my favourite things I've ever written. It has a high stakes power struggle with tension you can cut with a knife, it has angst and conflict with counterbalancing moments of levity, it is deliciously dark and the clever verbal sparring challenged me in a really refreshing way, keeping me on my toes. I think it contains some of my best writing to date.

*This AU gained a surprisingly big following - it even has its own fanart! Years later my writing partner and I still get occasional asks about it/people still go on like sprees through the threads, which is really sweet. I am forever mindblown and deeply touched that so many people have enjoyed this random niche rarepair story my partner and I wrote for fun.

I'm also very proud of this Arcane rp thread, which sparked off a whole AU that my writing partner and I are still actively developing and enjoying two years later.

A writing partner (or partners!) I've enjoyed writing with: shoutout to @f1shbonez for writing with me for ten years, across four different platforms and over 12 different fandoms. New Fic Challenge: PEN PAL CHALLENGE TAKE TWO (AKA ULTIMATE RARE PAIRS)

New Deadline: September 15, 2022

Hello Friends!! 

Well, listen. I can admit when I’ve made a mistake. 🙈

While people here are very into rare pairs, normally, it seems like the parameters for this challenge (as they were first posted) may have made things a little TOO difficult. Or at least, not very exciting because it took the “chemistry” element out of the equation. Which is like, 97% of the fun of fanfiction. Oops. My bad. Sorry 'bout that. I really thought y'all would be more into crack ships. 😂

Anyway, here’s an attempt to modify those guidelines so that it’s a bit more relaxed, but still encourages people to play with those international franchises that don’t get as much attention. And also, still keeps the spirit of @laineecope’s original suggestion. 

Revised Guidelines, Submission Instructions, Randomizer Tool, and a little Prompt List below after the cut. Feel free to send an ask if you have more questions, requests, prompts, headcanons, thoughts, artwork, playlists, or anything to contribute. XOXO

***NOTE: If you have begun writing something based on the original guidelines, you can absolutely still use it!! These rules are less restrictive, but following the old rules would still make your fic perfectly fine.***

Revised Guidelines: 

So, we’re still trying to find rare pairs, and we’re still trying to put a spotlight on international queens. Here’s another way to get there that’s hopefully less rigid: Choose a pairing, romantic or not, where at LEAST one of the queens:

> Appeared on a Televised Drag Competition that was *not* the flagship US RPDR Seasons 1-14 (An International Season of Drag Race, Dragula, Queen of Drags, Queen of the Universe, etc).

> Appeared on US RPDR but was born outside of the USA, or is not a citizen of the US/was not a citizen when they competed*

Write a fic - any length, any genre - using the theme of “pen pals.” (If you’re not sure where to begin, there’s a list of prompts below to help you get started. And YES, ‘pen pal’ can be any form of written communication, not just postal letters. So online friends, people who meet on social media/messageboards/etc would 100% qualify here.) 

Suggestion (not a requirement, just an idea) - though you could go in a romantic direction with any of these, it would be a cool challenge to really explore gen fic and the power and importance of friendship and found family.

If the other queen(s) in your main ship are from the same franchise, then consider adding in supporting character(s) from a 2nd or even 3rd franchise as friends, coworkers, classmates, etc.

For a fun alternate/speed challenge: Set a timer for an hour or two and write one round of “letters” back and forth.

Remember that the above guidelines are not enforceable. No one is grading you and this is all just for fun. Basically, if you submit anything and tag it with the fic challenge, then that’s awesome and I love you and so will anyone who reads it.

*Please keep in mind that Puerto Ricans are United States Citizens. But also, See the last bullet point.

CHARACTERS: i definitely do scenarios/headcanons, and i would be 100% willing to do them for more than one character at a time. you can request for as many characters as you like, and i will try to fulfill that. if i feel like i can not - i’ll say that! off the top of my head, i can’t think of any characters i won’t write for. the ones i have listed in my masterlist are simply characters i already have vague ideas for, but are not exclusively who i will write about. for reader - you can suggest anything! this goes for gender, race (for bg3 and otherwise), body type, etc. i think as of rn i only have gn!reader and f!reader posted, but i do have a m!reader x karlach work in progress. most of the stuff i write that is not requested is gn!reader, but i am absolutely not opposed to expanding on that. you can be as specific or as vague as you want and i will do my best :)

HARD NO’S: i will not write any type of noncon/dubcon as that is a huge trigger for me. that being said, references to it happening in the past are okay, i just draw a hard line at writing it actively happening. the same can be said for topics such as suicide, self harm, and eating disorders. mentions to them are okay, but i will not write them out. suicidal thoughts are kinda meh - i have a piece for eren from aot where he vaguely mentions it, and i think that’s probably as far as i’m willing to go. i don’t feel comfortable explicitly having a character (or reader) say they want to hurt themself, but i will find a way to work around that. as for kinks, the only ones i will not write that i can think of right now are as i previously said, noncon & dubcon. if i think of others, i will say so. as with most things, i will be very clear if i do not feel comfortable writing something. it’s nothing personal and i will not be rude about it, but i will let you know if i do not feel comfortable with it.

I was doing school stuff when I received the notification, and I did pause my work just to read it immediately and you never fail to make me smile! Luffy:

Okay so you and Luffy rarely fought with each other and if you did

It was always on sth really silly and eventually you end up forgetting about that tiny argument

But this time، The quarrel was intense between the two of you

To the point that you have left the ship crying and he didn't come after you

You stopped by one of that island's bars and end up drinking more than you should

Its getting late and you still didn't come back

Luffy is now feeling guilty and worried bcs he didn't go after you

He doesn't like it when you two fight and neither you do

He decided to wait on the deck, and that's when he spotted you

You were staggering left and right

He immediately came to you and tried to carry you bcs you don't seem to be alright

But you pushed him away

" Don't... Don't touch me ..L...Luffy" you said as your eyes streams with tears

" (Y/N)...I'm sorry okay? Its my fault so let me carry you, you're totally drunk" he said as he tried to carry you once again

"Nooo!" You pushed him once again and barely ran towards your room smacking the door

Boy this little cutie pie thought that you didn't love him any more

He was depressed the whole night eating more than he should

The next morning you woke up, recalling what happened yesterday

Oh damnit did you push your Luffy yesterday when he was trying to apologize?

Tho your head was heavy, but you jumped out of your bed looking for your poor boyfriend

" Oh damnit (Y/N) are you carzy, oh god please Luffy don't get mad nor Sad at me" you said talking to yourself

You searched until you found him sitting in the kitchen eating with that pout on his face

You approched him calling his name

He looked at you as if he saw a ghost

"Luffy....I'm sorry for our fight and what I did to you yesterday...*sniff* i didnt mean it" you began to cry

He stood up and pulled you into a tight hug

" No no... I'm sorry bcs i made you cry, i thought that you would leave me" he said with crack tone

" No no Why would i leave you...I love you so much baka senchou" you cried as you snuggled into his chest.

Ever since that day, you never fought again

Zoro:

You were used to Zoro's blunt attitude, bcs he's Zoro

You and Zoro never fought seriously before

Those arguments that happened back then were not more than Zoro trying to piss you off as he defines it as teasing

And today wasn't especially a good day bcs this time your quarrel was quite intense

Zoro wasn't helping at all with his bluntness, and you were done with it

You walked away of him down to the island, and you weren't sure if he got a glimpse of your teary eyes

You went to one of the bars there and began to drink

Honestly you were good at it and rarely got drunk thanks to your boyfriend

But this time you were so angry and sad, you didn't know anymore how to feel

You were totally drunk now as you reached Sunny

Zoro noticed you staggering as you almost tripped over yourself

He reacted quickly and caught you before you smashed your face in the ground

He was shocked at your sight, and now he feels guilty, bcs he made his girlfriend who rarely gets drunk, Drunked

Let's say your cry was his weakness, so yes he tensed and turned to face your swollen eyes

He cupped your cheeks and kissed them

"I deserve it, I was mean to you...I'm ..I'm sorry" he suttered as he avoided your gaze

You muffled a giggle and hugged him tightly

From that time he was careful not to hurt your feelings again, bcs he doesn't want to see you crying again.

Sanji:

So in Sanji's case, you Literally never argued with each other Never

He thinks arguments just increase the problem and its a waste of energy

So talking about it calmly is the best option for both sides and you totally agree with that

Bcs that's what the two of you did every time there is a misunderstanding which rarely happened

But this time, this argument was calm yet intense, bcs your voices raised on each other

You were now just staring at each other's eyes for 10 minutes straight

You were hurt, you didn't like how its going, you don't want to argue with him like that

Soon your eyes teared up, and then you immediately ran out of the room

He was taken back at the sight of your tears and he ran after you, "(Y/N)~chan!"

When he came out of the room you were already gone, he searched and didn't find you.

Later, he was impatiently waiting , when his eyes got a glimpse of you slightly sawying back and forth

He acknowledged that you were drunk looking at how red your cheek was

You said nothing but entered your shared bedroom and threw yourself on the bed

He came closer without saying anything and slipped right next you

He slowly wrapped his arms around in an attempt to cuddle you as an apology

You unintentionally glared at him, pushing him away

" ... ..Sanji-kun... please leave.... I don't want to be with now" You hardly said when you buried your teary eyes in the pillow

He gulped at your sentence as the colors drained from his face.

He gently left your side and went to the kitchen and man...he was a mess

He was ruffling his hair angry at himself for making you cry and drunk to this point.

It was sleepless night for the two of you.

Your eyes opened at 3:30 am, you glanced at the spot next to you and he wasn't there

You immediately ran to the kitchen, sure that he was there

When you Slightly opened the door he was burying his head in his arms on the table

Tears rolled over your cheeks at the sight, you blamed yourself for doing that to him

He raised his head looking at you with wide eyes and pulled you into a deep kiss

" I'm the one who should apologize (Y/N)~chan, i dared and raised my voice at you, I'm really sorry"

You snuggled into each other and promised that you'd never argue again

Law:

Similar to Sanji, You and Law didn't get into quarrels and arguments with each other

Basically bcs you both don't have the time to do so

He spends most of his time in the office either working or studying

And you'd be busy doing your personal work or your hobbies

But that day, Polar Tang docked on an island and everyone left to explore the island except for you, Law and Bepo

Neither of you knew what happened buy yoh found yourself arguing and it got intense each minute

The reason was trivial but you didn't know where did it went wrong to get to this point

So now you're trying as hard as you can to keep your tears inside your eyes

And headed outside walking straight to the island when you burst in the middle of the way

Then you found a convince store, you went inside and bought bottles of sake and started drinking it

You were totally aware of how bad is the idea, bcs you're bad at drinking

And here you are, going back to Polar Tang wobbling about to pass out any second

Law spotted you and came immediately trying to take you inside before you hurt yourself

He placed his arms around your shoulders but you coldly rejected his help with an icy stare

You walked further and then lost your conscious, of course Bepo was there and he caught you

Bepo took you inside and he stayed beside you to give you some water when you wake up

Law went back to his office, he was angry, not at you but at himself, thinking that you might leave him after what happened

He usually controls his anger, but this time he couldn't

Things were broken and thrown inside his office and the sound was heared everywhere

10 minutes later you woke up and now conscious after drinking some water

You asked Bepo about what happened and he explained

Law was that type who is hard to please if he got sad and that brought fear to your heart that he might end the things between the two of you after what happened

Running to Law's office, you slowly opened the door to find everything thrown around the room, it was a clear mess

Your tears rolled over your cheeks at his sight as you stood in your place

"Law.....Please don't.. don't hate me..I'm sorry *sniff*... please don't be angry, I love you so much..so...so don't leave-" you sobbed like a lost child

Law jumped over you and pulled you in a tight hug stroking your hair

"Baka....why would i leave you, I love you so much...I'm sorry for earlier", he said as he placed a gentle kiss on your lips

Later, he cuddled you throughout the night and promised you that this won't happen again.
