In which after trying to find your assigned room at Ootori Kyoya's family beach house, you stumble upon said man's room and he teasingly offers you a risqué proposition. Or; In which a certain vice president of the Host Club is caught off guard by your seriousness in accepting his joking offer.(In this fic, you take the place of Haruhi.)

You took him in as he held himself above you; completely unfazed by the provocative position he's put the two of you in. His dark hair is still damp, and misty droplets of water occasionally fall onto the duvet and soak into the fabric. The gaze he held was serious but somehow you could tell he was only doing this to get a reaction from you.

To pay your debt with your body...

The proposition that Kyoya had offered had come out of left field for you, and yet you still found yourself considering it. Somehow...— somehow, you didn't mind settling your debt that way, especially if it was with him. You certainly found him attractive and this could be your opportunity to stake your claim on him.

In thought, you raise your arms to gently run your hands up his toned chest; snaking them around his neck after your hands find his shoulders. You humm, running your index and middle fingers down the length of his spine, pulling an involuntary shiver from the man above you. Kyoya squeezed his eyes shut at the pleasant feeling, still awaiting your reaction.

"...Alright. Do you want to do it now?"

You muttered quietly, tightening your hold on him as you absent-mindedly toy with the shorter locks of hair at his nape.

You could feel him freeze under your touch; whether in shock or confusion, you did not know. His dark eyes snap open and lock with your own; they're wide and filled with an inner turmoil completely unknown to you. All you offer him is your own gaze; eyes half-lidded as you peel back his complex layers with only a look. Kyoya looked as though he couldn't even speak; the witty remarks he could've offered seemingly vanished from his mind.

"I— What?"

The bespectacled boy choked out; unable to hide just how far he'd been taken aback.

His brows furrowed as he reopened his eyes; searching your face for any sign that you're just messing with him. Brownish-grey eyes crinkled at the corners as he tried to wrap his head around just how his little joke turned into something so potentially serious.

"You'll have to take it slow with me, okay? I'm not very experienced in things like this."

You purr at him, looking up with hooded eyes that coax him to relax and fall into you.

Kyoya is still; unmoving as he stares into your eyes, unable to look away. In some sense, he's in awe of you. How you can be so bold and direct in what you want amazes him to the point that he finds it annoying. Annoying but oh-so-attractive. Your chuckling brings him from his headspace; reality fades back into view.

His naked back is against the damp duvet and your soft hand is resting on his stomach. You're standing now; looking down on him with a sort of amused softness. After a few soft pats from your hand, you turn and make your way to his bedroom door.

"You shouldn't make suggestions that you can't follow through on, my dear."

Those are the words that you left him with.

☆ Barely talks to you, and aside from helping you, he doesn't spend time with you, and is just very cold and distant for a good few weeks.

☆ He doesn't tell you what's wrong either, no matter how many times you ask him.

☆ Finally, you full on yell at him, just screaming at him to talk to you about this at the very least.

☆ He still doesn't talk to you, so you storm off (refusing his help this time, you were way too mad to indulge him)

☆ You end up talking to Honey about this, who promptly does two things;

Knock some sense into Mori

Tell you exactly what's going on

☆ Do you remember the episode where Honey got a cavity?

☆ Yeah, it's the same situation.

☆ He feels responsible for the fact you got hurt, no matter how much you insist he could have done nothing about it.

☆ And when he feels like he failed to protect the people he's supposed to, he punishes himself like this.

☆ It hurts him to see you angry at him, but he feels like he deserves that anger, because he let you get hurt.

☆ Please knock some sense into this idiot too (possibly kiss him while you're at it)

☆ It'll take a while before he unlearns this line of thinking, but he's working on it, especially after this incident.

He is very analytical and observant

He can tell when he first met you that you weren’t entirely comfortable in your own skin

Once he finally realizes that his feelings for you were actually romantic and not just of interest, he is fiercely protective of you

No one has the balls to say shit to you, especially when he’s around because of the repercussions of messing with his lover

When you first come out to him it takes him a bit to get better at using both sets of your pronouns but as time goes on he fluidly switches between she and they when referring to you

He wont let a single person make a comment about your weight, especially if you’re insecure about it

He will simply send one of his demon king glares before steering you away from whoever said anything

Don’t think he isn’t taking note of exactly who said it, who their parents are, what their family’s company produces, and destroying it’s credibility without ever leaving a trace

He loves you for exactly who you are, no matter what

He loves to hold you in his arms or have you in his lap when he’s working during club hours or if you’re hanging out at his house

he never thought he could really and truly trust someone but then you came around and wormed your way into his heart. he trusts you more than anyone else. you didnt realize how much kyoya trusted you until the first time he confided in you.

maybe it wasn’t actually something that big. but one time, when it was just you and kyoya sitting alone he told you something personal. something that was bothering him. something you knew he wouldn’t tell anyone else willingly. thats when you realized just how much he trusted you.

kyoya probably didnt even realize it fully yet, he didnt know how much he actually cared for you. it was just something he wanted to say and he felt comfortable enough around you to say it. if you made a big deal about it he’d deny that it meant anything, but thats the only way hed even realize how he feels about you. if you didn’t mention it though it would take much much longer for him to come to terms with his feelings.

he trusted you enough to confide in you though. even if he didn’t realize it, you did and that was something special.

Mori oddly looked forward to y/n visiting him at the host club. He always questioned if this was weird as they usually spent their time in silence. Y/n was like him, a person of few words. It wasn't that they only spoke when necessary, they simply didn't have much to say. They'd usually show Mori memes and short videos they had found during the week. Mori wouldn't admit it but they had polar opposite tastes in humor. 'Wanted to share it with someone, that's all,' is all they say when he asks why they shows him them. Other days, they'll set up a card game; spoons, solitaire, go fish. It sometimes entices the twins over to their table until Kyoya reprimands them for not working, not that they listen.

Mori holds onto any pieces of info y/n divulges about themselves. Somewhat guilty when he notices their voice is gruff from disuse. Offering them some tea after they clear their throat for the nth time. Honey starts leaving them when after a few months, Mori slowly opens up to them, hoping they'll do the same. A small smile appearing on his face when y/n rambles about the latest show they're watching. 'Is it okay if I spoil it?' Never knowing that their spoilers are what usually entice Mori to watch. Same goes with their favorite books. Running into him outside of the club, 'oh, you picked it up. how are you liking it so far?' And y/n later realizes that it was the longest Mori's ever spoken to them.

'Y/n?' The duo sitting across from each other, playing Uno. 'Hmm?' Flipping through the cards to find a yellow as to prepare for their next turn. 'Why did you pick me as your go-to host?' Not expecting the question, they paused. 'You weren't as intimidating as the others, felt like you wouldn't judge, being so silent yourself.' Nodding, they continued the game. Mori winning that round.

Dating Kyoya Ootori Headcanons

He's the kind of guy who says he'd want someone low maintenance, who'd let him put work first, but then you meet his friend group and realize he's full of shit and does need the balance of someone clingy, loud, and high strung. It's comforting to him, familiar.

He could plan a date if you wanted him too, and it'd be classic and romantic and expensive with every little detail and moment planned out, but all of it would be pure "what the internet said a good date would be". It'd be better to tell him what you want to do as a starting off point, and he'd go from there

Gifts are a lot like his date planning as well, he'll get you anything you ask for but if you don't tell him directly what you want, you're getting whatever the top google results for Good Gift for Romantic Partner is. He won't get you something you'd hate or wouldn't use of course, but he figures if you wanted something specific you'd tell him.

All of this changes of course when he's feeling petty. One of the other hosts call him out for being so passive in his relationship? He'll change his tune, get you something perfect you didn't even know you needed until right then, or plan a date to somewhere you'd always wanted to go but never actually considered. He knows you better than anyone else, even yourself, and he can prove it when provoked.

You're probably the only person who could convince him to put down a project before 2am, or even better the only one who could wake him up before noon on a day off and survive the encounter without a verbal lashing. Though you probably still can't actually get him out of bed without good reason.

If he was ever mean to you in the morning he would probably be rather mortified, and would spend the day trying to make it up to you, subtlety of course. Please don't take anything he says before he's fully awake to heart.

He has thousands of photos of you on his phone, btw. And on Tachibana's phone. And a few on Honda's. And maybe a couple on Aijima's as well. He can't help himself, he just wishes to capture every beautiful moment he has with you. He's considered equipping Honda with a professional camera to capture beautiful moments of the two of you together as well. He is the best of the staff at photography.

Kyouka isn't exactly my favorite characters but I did my best! I hope you like it

Kyoya isn't exactly someone who fall for someone easily, even getting to be his friends is rather difficult since he is more used to think about his life as a competition or measure things by their value and what he can get out of them, however its safe to say that your cat-like personality is something that have catched his attention from the start and he find it quite fascinating to some extent (not that he will admit it out loud to everyone)

Something that Kyoya finds amazing and is always happy to see is the way you always carry yourself around, you can be the most extrovertive and energetic person or even be more quiet and even shy and still your movements are graceful and elegant, its quite amusing to him seeing you walk with such elegance and being something so natural for you, he had asked you once how and why do you do it and you just say that is your natural way to walk, even if he found your answer weird he doesn't express it, besides it didn't take him much time to just love it

Something that Kyoya learn to love over time is how observant and smart you are, cats are natural hunters so you do have that instict too, being able to stay back and just watch carefully whatever had catched your attention, taking some careful steps forward until you find the perfect opportunity strike your attack, and even when you don't really kill whatever you consider your prey it kinda feels that way whenever that attack went towards him because he never liked feeling vulnerable or without the control (and you being so stealthy doesn't help at all), but over time (mainly when he finally trust you) he just learn to love that little quirk of your (and may or may not find some use for it)

Cats are really agile and fearless and that is something that will bother him a little bit, mainly if you show it by having a lot of energy, going around running and climbing like a child (but he does find quite fascinating your inmense hability to be still be graceful by it), it would bother him because he already had to deal with his friends at the host club and his partner also being kinda caotic will definetly finish with his patient, but if that agility is express by something less caotic he won't mind too much then

No matter how much time it pass, Kyoya will never stop complaining if you are too sleepy, cats normally have longs naps during the day, so if you do tent to take naps he will be bothered by it, and even so he tries to be there to watch over your sleep, making sure no one bothers you (but don't try to cuddle him or rest on his lap, he doesn't take it too well but sometimes he can't just say no to you)

Being affectionate with him doesn't work too well for him neither, he can handle being occasionally affectionate, and wouldn't mind hugging you or kissing you a few times (mainly when there is no one around or to tease you), but you clinging onto him and trying to be always with him will stress him quickly, he needs time to himself (what is already difficult for being in the host club) or just have time to relax, so he may argue or even get a little mad if you are too clingy

Kyoya doesn't make jokes about your cat-like personality, thats something that Tamaki and the twins will do but not him, he does sometimes compare you with a cat but doesn't joke much about it he has other things with which tease you anyways

When Kaoru had jokingly brought up the Idea of purchasing a decorative collar for the host club's Gentle Type, Hikaru had already dialed up their mother before his twin could even finish his sentence

Their mother had immediately jumped on the project, as it was a request from her precious sons and finished it within a few days. The two ginger headed boys then sent it to [Name]'s residence.

And when the next day rolled around...

They didn't think that [Name], meek and soft spoken as they were, would be so bold and wear the collar to school the next day.

The entirety of the school day, not once had [Name] taken it off. Not even during club activities.

. . .

The two had quickly made their way to the h/c-ette's station, not caring at the moment if their guests needed tending to or not, and leaned over the sofa on either side of them.

[Name] looked up and smiled softly at them.

"Hikaru. Kaoru. Thank you for the gift, I appreciate that you both thought of me." They said gently.

They both were taken aback. Not even a bit of embarrassment could be seen on the Gentle Type's being. [Name] was genuinely grateful for the collar that he was wearing so proudly.

The h/c-ette fiddled with the metal tag, making sure to flip it over to display the word 'Hitachiin's' that was ingraved into it in a lovely cursive. It was as if they were flaunting it to their guests without even realizing.

Kaoru's cheeks flush a light pink at the display, while Hikaru's take on the same hue with a smirk coming to his lips.

"You know, if you wanted us to claim you so bad, you could've asked us instead of this little show you're putting on, [Name]." He purred into the e/c eyed teen's ear as he takes their chin between his fingers.

"Not that the sight is unwelcome; I like this bold side you've been showing off today. Where's that been, hm?" Kaoru adds in, brushing [Name]'s cheek gently with his index and middle finger.

The h/c-ette smiles widely as they grap each of their hands and smiles up at them, intertwining fingers with theirs.

"I'm not showing off... it just reminded me of you both and both of you make me feel safe." They chirp, giving them a lovely close-eyed smile.

"..." for once, Hikaru and Kaoru were the one's left speechless.

When he first met you he did his normal prince act and for when he saw your reaction to it, he was already falling.

For days after that he would look for you in the music room to the point Kyoya would have to tell him if he focuses he’ll try and get you to come visit more often.

As you showed up more he would try and talk to you as much as possible and flirt like crazy.

Soon you guys would start dating but he and you agreed to keep it on the down low so it wouldn’t interfere with the host club.

If you were ever just in a bad mood because you saw him flirting a little extra with someone, or if you were just in a bad mood at all, he would do anything he could to make it better.

He would invite you over to his house, and talk about what he can do to make it better.

When you two are in public together he wouldn’t leave you side, he would hold your hand. (or do something, bros 6 foot)

If one day he’s flirting and you decide to flirt back, he’s gonna pass out, freak out, run away, turn red, ngl probably all at once.

Later he would be clingier because he fell harder after that.

His favorite dates would be shopping, he just loves buying you things, or maybe a walk in a garden.

His favorite month is definitely spring so in month would be the time you would go out the most.

If your a commoner then he would love to just run errands with you or just do out to do a cute date at smaller places.

If you were in the same class as him then he would love that just as much, he would love to go do your favorite things in the best places that specialize in it.

On slower days in the music room the other hosts (the twins) would flirt with you because they know it’ll make Tamaki mad and there’s really nothing he can do about.

Im really sorry if this kinda jumps all over the place in a relationship with him. I also really hope you wanted relationship headcanons because I was half way into writing and I realized you could have wanted crush headcanons. So I’m sorry if you wanted crush headcanons. If you did then you could just request and I would get it done as fast as possible. But other than that I really like how this turned out.

-when the "fight" between the twins happened, at first you were completely convinced that it was an actual fight.

-so you went to make sure they were both okay, but after telling you their plan you came to their side to help them get to go to Haruhi's house.

-even as the show/manga goes on, you stay by their sides, telling them both to follow their hearts and try to win Haruhi's, even at one point hitting Hikaru when he got out of line with Haruhi.

-over all, your the third Hitachiin kid, their triplet and they would do anything for you and you for them.
