Para mi nuevo amor

¿Por qué después de una relación de seis años, llegaste a mi vida y cautivaste mi corazón sin esfuerzo alguno?

¿Cómo es posible, que después de tantos intentos fallidos de relaciones, de conocer nuevas personas, salir con ellas e incluso tener intimidad, me aburriera tan fácilmente y no sé llenara ese vacío constante que existía dentro de mi?

Tú, por el contrario, jamás me aburrirías y mucho menos me vas a agobiar, de hecho, saber de tí, de tú día, de tú vida, de tú familia y escuchar tus anécdotas, me fascina profundamente y me brinda mucha paz y abundante alegría.

Verte de forma constante me emociona, igual que al principio de nuestra relación y sentir tu piel desnuda contra la mía, me excita de la misma forma, como en nuestra primera vez.

Tú, sin ser el causante del desastre que había en mi, sanaste a alguien que no sabía que debía ser curada y lo hiciste con mucho amor y comprensión.

Amaste y aceptaste a alguien con su pasado y lograste llenar vacíos que a tí no te correspondían.

Tú definitivamente ayudaste a crecer, amar y a confiar a una mujer que se encontraba bajo sus propias cenizas y con tu apoyo constante, lograste fortalecer a esta ave fénix que necesitaba un empujón para surgir de esa oscuridad que creía perpetúa.

Finding a lot of weird parallels between this and when I was first realizing I wasn't cis

It goes something like:

Stage One: Cool New Thing

initial contact (meeting someone who is Like This [ie trans/plural] & becoming friends)

intrigue/desire for education about this new community/way of existence

internet deep dive into community (exposure to The Discourse.)

uncomfortably relatable/boy I hope this doesn't awaken anything in me

Stage Two: Uh Oh

this is making a little too much sense, in retrospect

well let's give it a good college try. It's not like we have to commit to this or anything :)

sudden influx of Newfeel/symptoms/otherwise validating feelings/experiences that could, technically, be something unrelated. But What If It's Not.

Oh No I Can't Turn It Off <--- we are here

Stage Three: Depression & Bargaining

if this is right does this really mean I'll be stuck with this. forever. until the end of time
