A belief is nothing more than a chronic pattern of thought, and you have the ability - if you try even a little bit - to begin a new pattern, to tell a new story, to achieve a different vibration, and to change your point of attraction.

Late night rambling
Here's the thing, I would never let a tech company map, and upload my brain. But I'd let an individual do it. Even the most backwater, crackhead scientist. I'd never trust Neuralink with my brain. The reason? I don't want them monetizing the map of my brain. Not that FloridaMan wouldn't, but the company/government would try to control and regulate the brain afterward. Sterilize it. Destroy it.

Brain function simplified :: Highest of Mountains
* * * *
“In the economy of the body, the limbic highway takes precedence over the neural pathways. We were designed and built to feel, and there is no thought, no state of mind, that is not also a feeling state.
Nobody can feel too much, though many of us work very hard at feeling too little.
Feeling is frightening.
Well, I find it so.”

InkTober '23: "Path"
I got weird with InkTober #3: Path. I started to draw a little forest path and realized everyone and their brother will probably do that too... so instead, I drew neural pathways. Honestly, I really like how this one turned out.

How my brain jumps / links things
“Pickles from the Jar” -- Courtney Barnett
I say "dance", you say "dance"
I say "France", you say "France"
You're from Adelaide, I'm from Hobart
I say "Hugh", you say "Grant"
I say "pot", you say "blunt"
You're from Adelaide, I'm from Hobart
We couldn't be more contrary if we tried
Oh chalk and cheese we barely see eye to eye
I am dumb, you are smart
We are fifteen years apart
You're from Adelaide, I'm from Mars
I say "ooh", you say "ah"
I am careful, you like scars
I like pickles from the jar
We couldn't be more contrary if we tried
Oh chalk and cheese we barely see eye to eye
I say "you", you say "yeah my"
You like mornings, I like nights
I love you till the day I die
You say "Christopher", I say "Walken"
You love, I love Christopher Walken
I guess at least we have got one thing on common
We couldn't be more contrary if we tried
Oh chalk and cheese we barely see eye to eye

“The truth about resilience is that it's a learned behavior. If you gravitate toward hopelessness, it's not because you're hopeless, but because your brain has done it so many times before. If your mind naturally goes to despair, it's not because your situation is dire, but because you have developed strong neural pathways for despair.”

Let a man realize that his life, in its totality, proceeds from his mind. Let him realize that the mind is a combination of habits which he can, by patient effort, modify to any extent, and over which he can thus gain complete ascendancy, mastery, and control. At once, he will have obtained possession of the key which shall open the door to his complete emancipation.
—James Allen

Dear therapists,
You cannot gaslight your clients into critical thinking. If a client comes to you questioning a thought, feeling or behavior they have, and it's NOT normal, STOP FUCKING TELLING THEM IT'S NORMAL HOPING THEY WILL FIGURE IT OUT THEMSELVES!! YOU'RE A SHITTY THERAPIST IF YOU DO THAT!
The excuse that it's a way for therapists to gauge a client's understanding of right and wrong or their own level of critical thinking is unacceptable. There are better ways to test critical thinking that doesn't involve destroying an already mentally ill person's ability to not only trust you but their own mind as well. Deliberately telling a mentally ill person that something is normal when it's not will eventually create dysfunctional neural pathways that can potentially lead to harmful thought patterns and behaviors, and once those neural pathways are created it's extremely difficult to correct them.

Letsdiskuss :- Why do people die with their eyes open?
When a person dies, the muscles in their body relax, including the muscles that control the eyelids. This can cause the eyelids to open slightly, even if the person was trying to keep them closed before they died.

The Neuroplasticity of Language Acquisition
Neuroplasticity is a foundational concept in neuroscience that highlights the brain’s remarkable adaptability. It refers to the brain’s ability to reorganize its neural pathways by forming new connections and altering existing ones throughout an individual’s life. This process allows the brain to adapt to changes in the environment, learn new skills, recover from injuries, and compensate for…
