The Leaky Cauldron
From now on, the chapters take place in The Prisoner of Azkaban
Warning! This chapter has depictions of physical abuse. If this makes you uncomfortable or triggers you, please don't read this.
Part 1 Part 2 Part 3
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The Sound of Silence-Simon and Garfunkel
That was the song you were listening to as you were laying on your back, staring at the Leaky Cauldron ceiling, tears in your eyes.
Hello darkness, my old friend
I've come to talk with you again
Because a vison softly creeping
You spent the summer in Egypt with the Weasleys, your mother letting you go while going against your stepfathers wishes.
"It's bad enough that she's in the same house as them. I will NOT let her go to Egypt with them just so she can look at some stupid pyramids." he yelled, while you listened to from your room.
When the day came for you to go to the Weasley's, your mother secretly woke you up.
"Mum? What are you doing? I thought Dad said I couldn't go," you said, confused and tired.
"He doesn't know what he's talking about, sweetie," she said as she waved her wand around her room, your things flying into your suitcases. "Visiting Egypt with the Weasleys will be a wonderful opportunity for you."
So very quietly you went down to the living room and travelled to The Burrow via Floo Powder.
"Thank you mum," you whispered, hugging her before you left.
"Have fun sweetie, I'll see you when you get back." she said, hugging you back.
Egypt was as wonderful as you thought it would be. Not only did you get to hang out with Ron, one of your best friends, but you also got to hang out with George a lot more than you did at school. While in Egypt, you found yourself having a crush on the red haired boy. The thought of him made you smile and feel giddy inside.
You were hoping that your stepfather wouldn't be too mad that you went to Egypt. But when you got home, stepping out of the fireplace, you saw him sitting on the couch, a crazy look on his face.
"I told you not to go to Egypt, Y/N," he said slowly. "Why did you disobey me?"
"Mum said I could go," you said quietly, looking down. You wanted to go back into the fireplace.
"Your mother doesn't get a say in what you do, you know that," he said, standing up, he began to head towards you.
"I'm sorry! I just really wanted to-"
"I don't care what you want!" he snarled, picking you up by the front of your robes. "You live under my roof, you follow my rules. Do you understand?"
Tears started to stream down your face, you knew he would be angry, but you ignored it. 'How could you be so stupid,' you thought.
Not liking that you didn't answer his question fast enough, he punched you in the face, hard. That would no doubt leave a bruise.
"Answer the damn question!" he roared, spitting in your face. "Do you understand!?"
"Yes father," you whispered, blood dribbling down from your lip. "I understand."
"Good," your stepfather smirked down at you, throwing you down to the floor. "Unpack and clean yourself up. Your mother is taking you to Diagon Alley once she gets home."
He walked over to the door and grabbed his coat off the coat hanger and opened the door to head out.
Before he walked out, he turned around to speak to you. "If you disobey me again, I will make you wish that magic doesn't exist," he said in a deadly voice that made you shudder.
And with that he left, slamming the door behind him.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
You were grateful that your mother let you stay at the Leaky Cauldron with the Weasleys and Hermione until school started. As you lip synced to the lyrics, you wondered why she was with your stepfather. He was so cruel and unforgiving, while your mother was kind and sweet.
And the people bowed and prayed
To the neon God they made
And the sign flashed out it's warning
Suddenly you heard a knock from your door. You sat up, took off your headset, and put it in under your pillow. "Come in," you said, wiping the tears from your eyes.
The door opened and Hermione stood in the doorway.
"Y/N are you alright?" she asked in a soft voice, opening the door wider.
"Yeah I'm fine," you said, a fake smile on your face. "Why wouldn't I be?"
"I was just wondering," Hermione said, not fully believing you. "Ron and I are gonna get our school stuff, do you want to join us?"
"Yeah, sure, let me just get my shoes on."
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"Can we please sit down now," you groaned as you, Ron, and Hermione walked through Diagon Alley. "We've looked everywhere, what if Harry's not even here?"
"Oh come on Y/N, stop complaining," Hermione said, a slight frown on her face. "He's bound to be around here somewhere."
"Can we at least take a break, Hermione?" Ron said, stopping to rub his leg.
"I don't care what you say Hermione, I'm gonna go get a sundae," you said huffing. "You and Ron can join me or not, I don't care."
"Y/N," Hermione whined as the three of you walked to Florean Fortescue's Ice Cream Parlor. "We have to look for Harry."
"Oh calm down, Hermione," Ron said sitting down, "We're just taking a break."
"Fine, but let's not take longer than twenty minutes."
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
40 minutes later
"I can't believe you ate the last bite of my sundae, Ronald." you muttered angrily. "If we were allowed to use magic, I would so curse you right now.
"I don't regret anything," Ron smiled cheekily.
"If you wanted a bite, you could have just asked," you grumbled, "Instead of stealing some of mine."
"Can I please have a bite?"
"I'm gonna strangle you Rona-"
"Look! There's Harry!" Hermione suddenly shouted.
"Oh, I see him!" you said, forgetting about your sundae.
"Harry! HARRY!"
Harry turned his head towards to them, and grinned, heading towards them.
"Finally!" Ron said, scooting over so Harry could sit next to him. "We asked around at the Leaky Cauldron, but they said you left already, and we went to Flourish and Blotts and Madam Malkin's and-"
"I got all my school stuff last week," Harry interrupted. "And how come you knew I'm staying at the Leaky Cauldron?"
"Dad," Ron said simply.
"And I heard some people there talking about," you said. "I'm staying there too. I just got here this afternoon."
"Really?" Harry said gleefully. "That's wonderful I-"
"Did you really blow up your aunt Harry?" Hermione interrupted in a serious voice.
"I didn't mean to," Harry said, while you and Ron doubled over in laughter. "I just....lost control."
"Guys it's not funny," Hermione said sharply, glaring at you and Ron. "Honestly, I'm amazed Harry wasn't expelled.
"So am I," Harry said. "Forget expelled, I thought I was gonna be arrested."
"Now why would they arrest you, Harry?" you said, trying your hardest to stop laughing. "You're the Boy Who Lived. In the Minstry's eyes, and everybody else's you're a hero. But I don't know, you should ask Mr. Weasley about it.
"Yeah! Y/N already spoiled her part of the surprise," Ron narrowed is eyes at you. "But we're staying there too! So you can come with us to King's Cross tomorrow! Hermione's there as well!"
"Mum and Dad dropped me off this morning with all my Hogwarts things." Hermione said, beaming.
"And for your information, Ronald," you said, with mock venom in your voice. "I didn't know it was supposed to be a surprise."
"It's your fault for not knowing," Ron said, sticking his tongue out at you.
"I hate you."
"Ahem," Harry said, clearing out his throat very loudly. "Have you three got all your new books and stuff?"
"Look at this, Ron said, pulling out a thin box out of his bag. "Brand new wand. Fourteen inches, willow, containing one unicorn hair. And we've got all our books-"
"Let's just hope you don't break this one Ronald," you interrupted, smirking.
"And we've got all our books," Ron repeated himself, ignoring your quip. "What about those Monster Books eh? The assistant nearly had a heart attack when we said we wanted three."
"What's all that Hermione?" Harry asked, pointing at her bag.
"Well, I'm taking more new subjects than you, aren't I?" Hermione said.
"Exactly how many subjects are you taking Hermione?" you asked, your eyebrow raised.
She furrowed her eyebrows in thought, "Arithmancy, Care of Magical Creatures, Divination, the Study of Ancient Runes, Muggle Studies-"
"I thought we were only allowed to pick classes," you said, confused.
"Professor McGonagall said I was allowed to," Hermione said, smacking your arm lightly.
"What are you doing Muggle Studies for?" Ron said, rolling his eyes. "You're muggle born! Your mum and dad are muggles! You already know all about muggles!"
"But it'll be fascinating to study them form the wizarding point of view," Hermione said.
"Are you planning to eat or sleep this year, Hermione?" Harry asked, while you and Ron giggled.
"I've still got ten galleons," Hermione said, ignoring you three. "It's my birthday in September and Mum and Dad gave me some money to get myself an early birthday present."
"How about a nice book?" Ron said innocently.
"No, I don't think so, "Hermione said. "I really want an ow. I mean, Harry's got Hedwig and you've got Errol-"
"Oooh I want an owl too!" you interrupted.
"Why didn't you get an owl first year then?" Harry asked.
"I would of, but my mum thought I wasn't old enough to be responsible for one,"
"There's a magical creature shop just over there," Harry said. "You and Hermione can get your owls."
"Great, I can get Scabbers checked out, "Ron said, placing Scabbers on the table. You saw how sickly Scabbers looked while you were in Egypt. "I don't think Egypt agreed with him."
"Maybe he contracted some weird disease."
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"You're so pretty," you cooed, holding up the owl cage. "With your gorgeous striped fur. I think I'm gonna name you Bella."
"I can't believe you actually bought that creature." Ron grumbled, as the four of you walked to the Leaky Cauldron. "That thing nearly scalped me!"
"He didn't mean to, did you, Crookshanks?" Hermione cooed.
"What about Scabbers?" Ron cried out. "He needs rest and relaxation! How's he going to get it with that thing around?"
"As funny as this situation is," you said, trying not to laugh. "Crookshanks will be in mine and Hermione's dorm, and Scabbers in yours. He should be fine now."
"Thank you, Y/N," Hermione gushed. "Poor Crookshanks, that witch said he'd been in there for ages. No one wanted him."
"I wonder why," Ron said, sarcastically. You hit him in the shoulder.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The four of them reached The Leaky Cauldron and found Mr. Weasley sitting at the bar, reading the Daily Prophet.
"Harry!" he said, smiling. "How are you?"
"Fine thanks," you heard Harry say as you walked to your room to put Bella away.
"Here you go sweetie," you cooed, pulling out the bag of owl treats you bought and giving her some. "I'll be back soon."
Before you walked out, you quickly packed up your Walkman into your suitcase, not wanting to forget it.
You walked out of your room, and closed the door, quietly singing to yourself.
"She's a killer queen
Gunpowder, gelatin
Dynamite with a laser beam
Guaranteed to blow yo-"
"Not singing muggle songs are you, N/N?"
You turned around and saw George, his arms crossed and smirking at you. "I hope you packed up your Talkman."
"Okay first of all it's called a Walkman," you said, slapping is arm. "And second of all, shut up! I don't want anyone else finding out that I have it?"
"And why is that, again?" he said, slapping you back more gently.
You looked down, "I just don't want it to get back to stepfather that's all." you said, hoping that he didn't see the blush on your face.
George frowned, "From what you've told me about him, your stepfather sounds like a big, fat, asshole."
"He is really fat actually," you said quietly.
George burst out laughing. "How fat is he?"
"Like as fat as the pumpkins Hagrid grows."
"How could you be that big?" George doubled over. "I think he should see a doctor about that."
"And I think you two should change for dinner," Percy said pompously, walking past the both of you.
"I really wish we trapped him in the pyramid," George muttered to you.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
You sat beside Hermione and George as you dug into the chocolate pudding. It was one of your favorite deserts, and you hadn't had it in a while. You weren't really paying attention to the conversation everyone else was having.
"How're we getting to King's Cross tomorrow, Dad?" Fred asked.
"The Ministry's providing a couple of cars," Mr. Weasley answered.
You stopped eating your pudding, wanting to hear more of what everyone was talking about.
"Why?" Percy asked, curiously.
"It's because of you, Perce," George said in a serious voice. "And there'll be little flags on the hoods, with HB on them-"
"-for Humongous Bighead," Fred finished.
Everyone besides Percy and Mrs. Weasley laughed.
"Why are the Ministry providing cars, Father?" Percy repeated, his face red.
"Well, as we haven't got one anymore," Mr. Weasley said. "And I work there, they're doing me a favor."
You noticed that Mr. Weasley's ears were turning red and that he was nervously looking at you and Harry.
"Good thing too," Mrs. Weasley said. "Do you realize how much luggage you've all got between you?  A nice sight you'd be on the Muggle Underground....You are all packed, aren't you?"
"Ron hasn't put all his new things in his trunk yet," Percy said, sighing. "He's dumped them on my bed."
"You'd better go and pack properly, Ron, because we won't have much time in the morning." Mrs. Weasley said while Ron scowled at Percy.
After dinner, everyone began to make their way upstairs, preparing for the events of tomorrow.
As you walked to your room, you heard Percy and Ron shouting at each other.
"It was here, on the bedside table, and I took it off for polishing-" Percy roared.
"I haven't touched it, all right?" Ron roared back.
You rolled your eyes and stepped into your room, stretching your arms out.
"Hi Bella," you said, walking over to the cage. She was currently sleeping.
"Oh I can't wait for you to see Hogwarts," you whispered. "You'll love it."
Getting your pajamas, you thought about your third year. You hoped nothing too troubling would happen this year. You hoped that you wouldn't have to deal with too much of Malfoy. You also hoped that you would hang out with George.  The thought made you smile.
You settled into bed, falling asleep quickly.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I hope you enjoyed this so far, I think I'll upload either every day or every other day.
Stay safe and drink plenty of water!!
xoxo, Izzy

Harry Potter characters and rare diseases
I’ve noticed that there’s a lack of representation when it comes to rare diseases or any conditions that aren’t considered common in so I came up with my list of “possible diseases” for each character. I might write a more detailed description for each character or maybe a part 2.
Draco: Klinefelter Syndrome
At 13, Draco couldn’t bring himself to change in the locker rooms after quidditch practice. There was something wrong with his body. He was never insecure of his body until he saw that he was different. His chest looked different; puffy, rounder. “It’ll get more muscular with exercise” he told himself, but for now, he couldn’t muster the courage to reveal his body.
Draco couldn’t help but feel insecure about his body. At 14, most boys in his dorm have already started to shave and he’s yet to find a single hair on his chin. He begged his mum for beard-growing potions, but all she said is to let his body grow at its own pace.
No matter how much he exercised or played quidditch, his body stayed slim while most players had at least gained some muscle on their shoulders.
At 15, Draco would hear boys comparing their… length in his dorm room. He couldn’t help but feel that he was a little behind in his growth. There must be something wrong. That year, he was diagnosed with Klinefelter syndrome.
It was only at the age of 25 that Draco finally felt comfortable with his own body, after years of standing naked in front of the mirror for hours, repeating positive affirmations. “My masculinity isn’t defined by the way I look” or “ there’s beauty in all bodies, including mine”. Draco finally feels comfortable showing his body. He’s no longer scared of judgment or being vulnerable in front of his lovers.
At 30, Draco stands naked in front of the mirror again, but this time, strong tanned arms wrap themselves around his waist. He leans back onto Harry, lulling his head to the left, allowing him to leave a trail of kisses down his neck.
Mrs Weasley: Diabetic Bearded Woman syndrome
Going through menopause wasn’t easy for Mrs Weasley; the mood swings, the hot flashes, the sleeping problems. It was tiring.
A year after menopause, she started gaining a lot weight. It’s not like she was an incredibly skinny woman to begin with so she blamed it on her slowing metabolism.
After sometime, she started experiencing hair loss. Her hairline was going back and she felt ugly. There would be some nights where she cried about it. Arthur would always hug her from the back, caressing her lovingly, whispering comforting sweet nothings into her ear
Later on, she noticed that her body hair had increased dramatically. Long pale hairs sprouted from her chin and around her jaw. She’d wax her face, chest and legs; hoping it might just go away. It didn’t.
She was convinced to go see a healer by Arthur. “Maybe they could prescribe you hair removal potions” he said. That day, she was diagnosed with Diabetic Bearded Woman syndrome.
It took her months before she was able to accept that her body wasn’t “abnormal” and navigate her feelings. In the end of the day, her body was still her body regardless of its nature and Arthur would make sure that she’s beautiful no matter what.
Fleur Delacour: Irritable Bowel Syndrome
Fleur had always had a pretty sensitive stomach. A little too sensitive.
She remembers going on her first date as a 13 year old and having to cut it short because of how her stomach had cramped after dessert. It had embarrassed her to no end.
She remembers missing half of her first class because she decided to have some coffee in the morning. She’d sit on the toilet seat in pain, clutching her middle. When her friends would ask her why didn’t she attend class. “Cramps. Period cramps,” She’d say, too embarrassed to say the truth.
She remembers running out of class because she could no longer keep herself from… ahem… flatulating.
She felt completely embarrassed in these situations. People often thought that she was the epitome of perfection and if they found out about her… issue, they’d never let it go.
All that changed when Bill came into her life. She did try to hide it at first, avoiding most foods that would trigger her bowel movement during their first dates. That is until he took her to an Fortescue’s ice cream parlour and she refused to eat. “ But why though? I thought you liked ice cream,” he said, with disappointment written all over his face.
She couldn’t hide it away anymore. She knew that he was the love of her life. If she were to spend the rest of her life with that man, she’d have to be honest with him. She gathered all her courage and just blurted it out: “I have IBS.”
“Oh, okay. Do you wanna go somewhere else then?” He replied with no judgment or disgust. She didn’t think she could’ve loved Bill more than she already did, but she couldn’t have been more wrong.
I hope I did a good job representing their struggles lol. I am in no way a professional so if I might’ve missed something important please tell me :)

TW for brief suicidal ideation
Read on AO3
“When can I start?”
Harry stood in the headmaster’s office, looking up at Kingsley Shacklebolt expectantly. Kingsley had just offered him exactly what he so desperately wanted now — something to keep him busy and occupied, something useful to do to distract him from the reality he now faced, from the horrible ache in his chest that he couldn’t stand to examine any longer.
“Likely end of August. You —”
“End of August?” Harry nearly moaned.
“Yes,” Kingsley replied firmly.
“But that’s nearly 4 months away, why —”
“You need to rest,” said Kingsley simply. “To recover. You’ve been through a terrible ordeal, Potter, and starting Auror training right now will do you more harm than good. Replenishing the Auror ranks will not happen overnight. These things take time, and so should you,” he added gently.
But taking time was the very last thing Harry wanted to do. Just the thought of 4 empty months stretching ahead of him with nothing to fill his time almost made him wish he’d never left the Forbidden Forest after all. He suddenly wished he could close his eyes and never think or feel or see again, and as he closed his eyes briefly, turning from Kingsley, he felt the sharp sting of grief and guilt sweep through him once again.
He left the office and walked down a deserted corridor, the only movement coming from a suit of armor on the stone floor, stirring weakly under a pile of rubble. Almost mechanically, Harry levitated the rubble, freeing the suit of armor, which creaked jerkily to its feet, returning to its regular sentinel position in the corridor. He turned to see a large gap in the crumbling wall. Harry could see into the Transfiguration classroom through the space where the wall should have been, could see the overturned desks and scattered chalk on the floor, and thought briefly of Professor McGonagall. He had seen her earlier today as well, had heard her give him the same advice as Kingsley. Everyone seemed to want him to go home and rest, and the more Harry heard it, the more he wondered where on earth they expected him to go.
Privet Drive was out of the question, of course — the Dursleys would likely still be in hiding elsewhere, and had the Death Eaters ransacked the place while they were gone? Harry didn’t plan to go back and find out. Even if Dedalus and Hestia were already helping the Dursleys back into their home on Privet Drive, Harry knew Aunt Petunia and Uncle Vernon would never allow him to stay there again now that he could legally live on his own. Harry found he was quite unbothered by this thought.
There was always Grimmauld Place. The thought of returning alone to the gloomy halls of his godfather’s old house filled him with increased despair, if that were possible. But he knew the place would have to be checked for threats, and security spells would have to be reinforced before he could return there. For all he knew, Yaxley could still be using the place.
That settled it then, Harry thought. He would stay at Hogwarts. He remembered how happy this would have made him only 2 years previously, but now he felt only numbness and cold. Lifting his wand again, he set to work rebuilding the crumbling stone of the classroom wall.
__________________
“Harry”
He turned to her, his normally bright green eyes dead and empty, dark bruises beneath them, and seemed to take a moment to comprehend her.
“Harry, it’s time to go home.”
“I can’t.”
“You can’t stay here.”
“Yes I can. Your family needs time to yourselves. I’m so sorry, Mrs. Weasley…”
His voice cracked, but he cleared his throat and fell silent. Molly could see him struggling within himself, and briefly wondered how long it had been since he had let himself cry. She remembered vividly, painfully, wondering the same thing when he had clung to her after that dreadful ordeal in the graveyard, as she felt him fighting to stay in control, his face screwed up against her shoulder, fingers clenched in the material of her robes.
He ducked his head then, and made to turn away from her, back toward the crumbling stone he was bewitching, but she moved forward without thinking twice. For a second time, Molly Weasley pulled Harry into an embrace. He was taller than her now, and she had to reach up to cradle the back of his head in her hand. For a second time she felt Harry bury his face in her shoulder, and this time she could feel warm tears in the crook of her neck, heard a single, shuddering breath as he once again tried to restrain the emotion before falling silent. How long they stood there in the silence, Molly didn’t know; she could feel hot tears running down her own cheeks, and she let them fall. Harry was still, but held to her tightly.
It was Harry who finally broke away from the embrace. His eyes were slightly red, but he showed no other signs of having lost control. His jaw was set.
“You’re coming home with us, Harry.”
Harry nodded, admitting defeat.
“Go get your trunk.”
“I don’t - I mean…”
“Right, that’s right,” she said hastily, shaking her head. “I’m sorry, dear. Force of habit - doesn’t feel right to leave this place without trunks in hand, does it?”
Harry gave a weak chuckle, and for a brief moment she thought she saw the barest hint of a smile.
“Come along then.” And she put her hand on his back, guiding him toward the staircase down to the Great Hall where the rest of their family was waiting.

"Constant Vigilance"
In the Prisoner of Azkaban Professor Remus Lupin tells the students that no Witch or Wizard has ever seen a Boggart's true form.
But in Order of the Phoenix, Mrs. Weasley asks Moody to check if the Cabinet upstairs contained a Boggart reason being that he has a Magical eye that can see through walls.
That means that the Boggart couldn't see him so it couldn't transform into his worst fear.
Which means that Mad-Eye Moody is the only Wizard that we know of in all time that knows what a Boggart actually looks like but it's never mentioned by anyone ever again. ❤️

Everyone calling molly a terrible mom or saying she didnt care about her kids
From: Harry potter and the Order of the Phoenix, Chapter 5, The Woes of Mrs.Weasley
READ THIS ->
There was no answer but the sobbing continued. He climbed the remaining stairs two at a time, walked across the landing, and opened the drawing-room door.
Someone was cowering against the dark wall, her wand in her hand, her whole body shaking with sobs. Sprawled on the dusty old carpet in a patch of moonlight, clearly dead, was Ron.
All the air seemed to vanish from Harry's lungs; he felt as though he were falling through the floor; his brain turned icy cold - Ron dead, no, it couldn't be-But wait a moment, it couldn’t be - Ron was downstairs
"Mrs. Weasley?" Harry croaked.
"R-r-riddikulus!" Mrs. Weasley sobbed, pointing her shaking wand at Ron's body.
Crack.
Ron’s body turned into Bill's, spread-eagled on his back, his eyes wide open and empty.
Mrs. Weasley sobbed harder than ever
"R-riddikulus!" she sobbed again.
Crack.
blood running down his face.
Mr. Weasley's body replaced Bills, his glasses askew, a trickle of blood running down his face
“RIDDIKULUS!"
"No!” Mrs. Weasley moaned. "No....riddikulus! riddikulus!”
Crack. Dead twins.
Crack. Dead Percy.
Crack. Dead Harry.
"Mrs. Weasley, just get out of herel!" shouted Harry, staring down at his own dead body on the foor. "Let someone else -“
"What's going on?"
Lupin had come running into the room, closely followed by Sirius, with Moody stumping along behind them. Lupin looked from Mrs.Weasley to the dead Harry on the floor and seemed to understand in an instant. Pulling out his own wand he said, very firmly and clearly,
"Riddikulus!"
Harry's body vanished. A silvery orb hung in the air over the spot where it had lain. Lupin waved his wand once more and the orb vanished in a puff of smoke.
"Oh - oh - oh!" gulped Mrs. Weasley, and she broke into a storm of crying, her face in her hands.
"Molly," said Lupin bleakly, walking over to her, "Molly, don't.”
Next second she was sobbing her heart out on Lupin's shoulder.
"Molly, it was just a boggart," he said soothingly, patting her on the head. "Just a stupid boggart.”
"I see them d-d-dead all the time!" Mrs. Weasley moaned into his shoulder.
"All the t-t-time! I d-d-dream about it”

An Unexpected Order PART 11 - Sirius Black!Sister reader
masterlist
"I can't find anything, at all. I've scoured the entirety of our library." Regulus huffed as we sat down, waiting for the other members of the Order to arrive for the evening's meeting.
"I guess they really didn't want us to get our names back on there." Sirius leant further back in his chair, it tipped slightly before he leant forward and the legs slammed onto the kitchen floor once again.
I glanced at the clock in an attempt to hide the sadness that I felt at the fact that it was probably unlikely that we could restore the family tree so that every member of the Black family was once again included.
"Y/N? Are you still thinking about the family tree?" Regulus asked from behind me, I turned around and nodded silently in response. The tall, thin man moved forward and pulled me into a hug.
"You know, regardless of what the family tree says, I love you. Don't forget that. You're my favourite sister, and I dare say, my favourite sibling." Regulus chuckled, pressing a kiss to my forehead. I grin into his chest.
"You may be my favourite sibling too. Don't tell Sirius." I whisper, Regulus' chest vibrated as the giggles fell from his mouth.
"It wouldn't be worth the drama if he found out." Regulus smiled down at me. "He would definitely have a massive temper tantrum, far too overdramatic." I giggle.
------
The members of the Order filed into the room one by one, with the exception of Mr and Mrs Weasley, the short woman was clinging to the arm of her husband.
I sat in my usual seat at the dining table picking at my thumbs, Regulus and Remus sat on either side of me, people threw nervous glances over at Regulus, who was looking anywhere other than at the people who were filling up our dining room.
"Thank you all for coming this evening." Dumbledore stood at the head of the table, I held back a scoff as everyone looked up at the bearded man.
"Dumbledore, would you care to explain what is sat next to Miss Black?" Snape snarled and everyone's attention turned back to my younger brother, I put my hand on his shoulder to attempt some sort of comfort.
"Why have we another Death Eater among us?" Kingsley's eyebrow shot up in concern before sending a suspicious look over at Regulus.
"I do not believe that Mr Black is a Death Eater, nor has he ever been." Dumbldedore smiled at the group of uneasy wizards and witches.
"We need explanations Albus, Mr Black has been assumed to be dead for the last seventeen years, then he appears out of nowhere."
"Mr Weasley-" I start, Regulus stands up, knees shaking. He glances down at me almost as if he were asking for permission for something, I gave him a small nod and smile.
"Sir, if I may. I'm guessing you know what my parents were like, I was forced into becoming a Death Eater as I was the only heir left, my brother having been sorted into Griffyndor and running away, and my sister was Hufflepuff and refused to join the Death Eaters. So I was left and my mother would not listen to my protests. I knew being a part of the Death Eaters wasn't what I wanted, it wasn't what was right and so one night after He discussed his horcruxes with us, I left the meeting with my elf, Kreacher, and asked him to take me to the location of a certain horcrux, my plan was to destroy it and replace it with a fake. When I arrived, I had to drink this potion which dried out my throat and I nearly got dragged into the lake with the inferi, but Kreacher stopped me, brought me home and managed to save me from dying. I knew I then had to fake my death in order to not have him come and hunt my family and I down, so for the past seventeen years, I've been walled up in my bedroom, Kreacher has supplied me with food and alerted me as to when the house was empty so that I could wander around a bit." Regulus smiles sadly.
"If a word of this gets out Severus, I will end you." I turn to the greasy haired man, the one who remained a servant to Voldemort. Remus' hand went on to my back in an attempt to calm me down. "Y/N." He starts.
"No. If the greasy-haired bastard tells You-know-who that Regulus is still alive and in hiding, I  will go after him, either with a curse or with some shampoo, either or you disgusting, greasy little asshole." I threaten, the man wasn't great to put your trust into and I had very little doubt that he'd keep such valuable information away from Voldemort, he'd definitely be the person who would run and tell his Master.
"Y/N, please calm down." Regulus glanced at me, a small smile was etched onto his face as Remus tried to lower me back down in to my seat.
"Keep your bitch under control, Lupin." Snape scowled at Remus. "But, I'm not going to tell Voldemort."
"What did you just call my sister, Snivellous?" Sirius' chair made a horrible scraping sound against the wooden floor as he stood up, his face red with anger.
"Nothing," Snape shurgs. "Just was telling Lupin to keep his bitch under control, considering it threatened to murder me."
"Do not call my  sister such a name. Y/N is looking out to make sure that nothing happens to Regulus and she needs to make sure that you and your swinging loyalties do not destroy his secrecy." Sirius raises his voice, his eyebrows now furrowed, the anger of Achilles possessed him as he continued his rage.
"Your sister is just as bad as you are, disrespectful to the Black family, a disgrace. Both of you refusing to comply with the Slytherin tradition, neither of you following the desired path of becoming a follower of Voldemort. Y/N, you destroyed Dolohov's marital chance, he was supposed to marry you and force you to join the Death Eaters, he was going to correct your faults and Voldemort was willing to forgive you for your original refusal to join us." The black-haired man growled angrily.
"Dolohov had great plans on how he was going to use you, you would have been perfect for him had you not have followed your arrogant older brother. You would have brought great things to the Death Eater team, you have the talent and the skills needed to become a brilliant dark wizard, Y/N. The upset you cause Antonin impacted him badly, he had to throw all his cleverly articulated plans down the drain because of your selfishness."
I sat on my chair and glanced down at the table in front of me, I felt all the eyes in the room glancing over at me, waiting for a reaction.
"Severus, that's enough." Dumbledore said calmly, stroking his long beard thoughtfully.
"Y/N?" My left hand is enclosed between both of Remus' hands and both of my brothers are stood next to me, Sirius' hand on my back.
"Thank you Sirius." I give him the tiniest smile possible.
"I want you out of Y/N's house, now Snivellous." Sirius pats my back before glaring at the potions master.
"Y/N's house? Surely it's Regulus' house now he is no longer dead." Snape stood up and glided towards the door to the hallway.
"No, it's Y/N's house. Our mother left it to her when she died, not me, nor Sirius." Regulus snapped as the door slammed shut behind Snape.
Regulus bent down and wrapped me in a hug, squeezing me tightly.
"Thank you Reggie." I whisper, he presses a kiss to my forehead.
"Mr Black, you shouldn't have kicked Severus out. It was uncalled for." Dumbledore shot a glare at Sirius.
"What was uncalled for was Snape calling my sister such a horrible name and then telling her how she should have married someone she was originally going to be forced to but didn't and then telling her she was selfish for not having become a death eater. He had no right to come into her house and abuse her in such a way."
"I think we should end this here and pick up the meeting again tomorrow night." Molly said quietly from the corner of the room.
The members of the Order walked out in silence, the tension was heightened by said silence, I gripped the edge of my chair and when at last, the final member of the Order had closed the door behind them, the four of us all let out a breath we didn't realise that we were holding.
"The fucking asshole, how dare he come in here and say such disgusting things, I should have jinxed him." Sirius muttered angrily, picking up a glass and casting aguamenti to fill it with water.
"Siri," I whisper. "It's okay, you did more than enough, there wasn't any need to jinx him. Thank you for sticking up for me, I really appreciate it." I move and pull him into a side hug, he places his glass down and stands up, pulling me into a proper hug.
-------------------
"Hey, Y/N, do you remember how you and Remus met?" Sirius chuckles, throwing a grape into his mouth and chewing it slowly.
"Oh no, please, don't bring that up, please." I groan, burying my head into the table.
"I haven't heard this story." Regulus smirks, crossing his arms over one another.
"Don't." I raise an eyebrow as a sort of warning to him.
"So," Sirius grinned wildly, glancing at me. "When we were in our first year, Y/N came looking for me, she managed to bypass the charm that prevents girls from entering the boys' dormitories because she wanted me to listen to her after I pushed her away, she was desperate for me to stop ignoring her, and she burst into the room that James, Peter, Remus, Kingsley and I all shared, and she started having a loud rant as she was annoyed at me. Y/N was screaming at me, swearing at me and insulting me for being ignorant to her existance."
** FLASHBACK **
"Sirius Orion Black! Why the fuck are you ignoring me? Ever since I came to Hogwarts you have done nothing but pretend that I don't exist. It sucks. I didn't get sorted into Slytherin, I thought you would be happy. I thought that you would be there this  morning when I recieved a Howler from our parents who are angry at me. I fucking got Hufflepuff you shithead. So what have I done that's lead you to not even acknowledge me anymore?! I say hello and you walk off, I smile at you and you frown." I kicked open the door that was shielding Sirius' dorm from the eyes of bypassers.
"You're so fucking hypocritical, you hate our parents for being judgemental of other houses and yet, and yet, you're being judgemental of me for not conforming to your fucking standards! I was hoping that I would have an understanding older brother. The older brother I fucking grew up with, what happened to you Sirius? Why? I don't get why you're doing this." I scream, I get no reply.
"Don't you fucking ignore me Sirius." A curtain slides open on one of the beds in the room, a mousy brown haired boy with scars down his face stared at me.
"Sirius has gone for a walk with James and Peter." The boy stated, placing his book on the bed and pulling his jumper sleeves down.
"I am so, so sorry." I start, my face heating up. Mousy-haired guy was kind of cute and I'd screamed in his room at my idiot brother who wasn't even there.
"I'm Remus, Remus Lupin." The boy put a hand out for me to shake.
"Y/N Black." I accept his handshake.
"So, I would ask you what you're doing here, but I think I heard most of it." Remus chuckled and gestured for me to sit down next to him on his bed.
"Haha, yeah, sorry about that. I'm just sick of him pretending that I don't exist anymore. I just, I want my brother back." I sigh, Remus tentavely places his arm around me and pulls me into a hug.
We sit there in silence for a good half an hour or so before the both of us drift off.
"Shush guys, Rem's got a girl." A voice whisper-shouts, pulling me out of my sleep.
"Remus has got a- Oh my fucking Merlin." Sirius yells, I keep my eyes shut tightly.
"What's wrong?" A short, stubby blond boy asks my brother.
"That girl, she's, she's my younger sister."
Both Remus and I shoot up at that exact moment, scrambling away from each other.
"You had better have a good explanation for this one, Remus." Sirius'  cold, grey eyes clouded over with anger.
** END OF FLASHBACK **
"That - that is not how you two met." Regulus chuckled as Sirius and Remus concluded the story.
"At least I spoke to you because that, eh?" Sirius smiled, jabbing me in the ribs with his elbow.
"It's still the funniest interaction I've ever had with you." Remus looks over at me and smiles gently when we make eye contact.
I smile back at him, his cheeks ever so slightly flushing a pale pink, the same way they did after I smiled at him when he was in his final year, and my sixth year and I had walked past him on my way to Transfiguration.
"I can't believe you two never got together in school," Sirius said. "The way you two looked at each other or blushed when the other spoke to you or looked at each other longingly when the other left."
"Sirius, I think if they had have gotten together in school, you would have murdered them." Regulus grinned. "As I would have."
"I would never do such a thing!"
** FLASHBACK, Sirius' POV **
I leant slightly forward to peer around the corner, wanting to know who was approaching so that James, Remus and I could take our leave if it were necessary.
"It's just Y/N." I whisper to the two boys who were standing patiently behind me waiting for an answer.
"Y-Y/N?" Remus asks, I glance over my shoulder at the mousy haired boy whose face was now a bright shade of red. I glare at him before walking away to talk to my sister.
"Y/N, heyy!" I smile at the girl who was standing in front of me, her eyes went wide in shock.
"Merlin's hairy balls, I wasn't expecting you to be here at this time of night." Y/N gasps.
"Well, I wasn't expecting you to be here either, gave me and the lads quite a fright I must say." At that, James and Remus come around the corner, Remus still a bright red and Y/N's face goes the same colour when she made eye contact with him.
"E-evening." She stammers out, nodding politely at the spectacled boy and the tall, lanky boy in front of her.
"G-g-good evening, Y/N." Remus smiled shyly at her.
"I'm, I've got to go. I uh, don't, I need to go to bed." Y/N quickly rushes away.
"Dude, that is my fucking sister, stop being in love with her, that is disgusting." I snap at Remus who was staring after Y/N.
** Flashback over**
"Yeah, maybe I would have, actually." Sirius grinned at us all.

One hand on the knob, Ron abruptly turned back, making Hermione grab onto Harry to keep from falling backwards. "You both realize, I hope, that my mum is a powerful witch, right? Just because she's not posh, because she decided to raise us instead of staying on at her job doesn't mean she couldn't take down those slimy gits from last night with one wave of her wand?"
Harry nodded. Hermione huffed.
"Of course, Ronald," she replied. "Did you really think that I'd think poorly of your mother because she's a woman?"
"Well, I guess not," Ron mumbled, tucking his head down at Hermione's sharp tone.
"I think she's brilliant," Harry added.
Hermione pushed at Ron to get him moving again. "I would never underestimate a woman who could live in the same house as seven male wizards and not turn them all into something much neater and easier to handle. Like baby pigs. Or puppies."
