connie’s not the female lead tho. pearl’s the female lead, if you’d like to argue that the show has a female lead. connie is a secondary character and occasionally borders on tertiary character, but would most accurately be described as a reoccurring character

Ugh

Some of the best banned books I've read in a long time is the His Dark Materials series. It gets really deep, and Lyra, in my opinion is a really likeable protagonist. The imagery is beautiful, and the action makes you cry out 'NO' in some parts. I think a lot of people should read the books. Well done.
